13:15 Leopardstown Maiden 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Found's sister RUBIES ARE RED showed promise last October and is proven on heavy ground. Regally bred, she finished behind previously-raced fillies at Galway, when meeting minor traffic, and is open to vast improvement. That Galway runner-up (Kisiyra) had finished well behind Galileo Dame when the pair made their respective debuts at Gowran last October. Galileo Dame, a 125,000-euro breeze-up purchase, was beaten by a now 103-rated winner in that Gowran race and while open to improvement, might lack high-class ability. Flight Or Fancy ran well at Cork (the runner-up and fourth won subsequently) and while she has an excellent pedigree, is Ballydoyle's second string. Tranquillitatis is a half-sister to her trainer's smart pair Piz Badile and Yosemite Valley, while Purple Sky is out of an unraced dam who is related to useful winners. Luxurious Princess is out of a half-sister to French/Irish 2,000 Guineas winner Bachir and cost just 5,000 euros as a yearling, while Ob La Di is the first foal from a Listed-placed dam.

RUBIES ARE RED and Galileo Dame both shaped well first time out and are likely improvers, so they're likely to dominate this, with the first named marginally preferred. Flight of Fancy, a stablemate of the selection, also has some potential.

Ballydoyle won this last year with subsequent Irish Oaks winner Savethelastdance and could have the answer with RUBIES ARE RED

13:45 Leopardstown Maiden 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ORTELIUS meets far more testing ground than what he raced on as a juvenile and might have enough ability to cope. Slowly away when running really well on debut (the third, fourth and fifth each won subsequently), he was well held on good to firm ground at Newmarket subsequently but nonetheless showed form and should progress. The Equator was a beaten favourite when running well on debut and while stablemate Chief Little Rock finished second and is now rated 107, he undoubtedly flattered the form when finishing fast. Invention, a brother to an Irish Oaks runner-up, has testing-ground form but is vulnerable to smart types. Benvoy showed promise on debut and has been gelded since his less encouraging Dundalk run. It is notable Colin Keane is allowed off Himalayan Heights to ride Mick Collins, which is out of half-sister to a Group 2 winner while Inner Success is his stallion's first runner and whose winning dam has already produced a Group-placed performer. Slaneyside is a half-brother to six-time winner Fratas.

ORTELIUS holds the edge on form so Aidan O'Brien's colt is taken to make a winning return at the chief expense of his stablemate The Equator who also looks to have better days ahead of him. Invention and Himalayan Heights appeal as the pick of the rest for minor honours.

Despite ground concerns ORTELIUS looks the one to beat, although stablemate The Equator and Invention look likely dangers

13:52 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

NILOUFAR was able to make an immediate impact upon her switch to handicaps and when stepped up to the mile at Chelmsford last month, in a race that has worked out well. Although a 9lb hike in the ratings will ask more of her, she is unlikely to have reached the ceiling of her ability and is taken to repeat the dose. Medician Star does not look overburdened by an opening mark of 56 and he must feature prominently in calculations, along with Lightning Bay, who hit the woodwork at Wolverhampton eight days ago and could improve for the addition of first-time cheekpieces.

NILOUFAR ran out a cosy winner at Chelmsford last month and could be up to defying a 9 lb rise with that form working out better than expected. Lightning Bay and handicap-debutant Medician Star head the dangers.

Lightning Bay may take another step forward but NILOUFAR is fancied to make it 2-2 in handicaps.

13:57 Market Rasen Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

RUMOURSAREFLYING has filled the runner-up spot at Southwell and Fakenham, giving the impression that a step up in trip might see him in a better light. In a contest lacking much on depth on paper, Pam Sly's six-year-old is taken to come out on top. Land Genie is expected to bounce back from a Chepstow fall on his return from a break, while it wouldn't be a surprise if Jukebox Fury, a half-brother to Don Poli, left behind his debut effort at Doncaster, especially with that performance coming when the yard's runners were under a cloud.

CARRIGMOORNA ROWAN shaped with plenty of encouragement on his first two starts over hurdles and his latest effort is best excused, so he's worth chancing to open his account in this sphere at the possible expense of New Order. Land Genie is likely to be on the premises, too.

Widespread questions to answer. With RUMOURSAREFLYING it's his stamina over a new trip but he still gets the vote.

14:05 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

After a lacklustre display on heavy ground at Catterick last week, the return to an artificial surface can see a much improved display from ROCKLEY POINT. Katie Scott's veteran just failed to get up at Newcastle on his penultimate start and, off a 1lb higher mark, it would be no surprise to see him go one place better. Basholo ran out a ready winner over C&D last month, but inconsistency continues to be a concern with him after a subsequent defeat here. Hard Nut has each-way claims but, if adopting his usual patient tactics, he will need the cards to fall right.

WEDGEWOOD is back in form and could gain a fourth C&D win if turned out again quickly after her defeat by Suanni at Lingfield on Monday. Basholo is also respected off her revised mark.

Plenty of pace on and this may set up nicely for HARD NUT, who hasn't had much luck with one thing and another since the hood went on.

14:15 Leopardstown Handicap 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CHARMING STAR won over hurdles recently and is proven on heavy ground. Out of a Group 2 winner and by Sea The Stars, he can race lazily and runs in a first-time visor but being a four-year-old, can continue to progress. Global Energy also revels on heavy and is 7lb higher than when winning the mini-Lincoln last month. He has winning form at this distance and has obvious claims, but is more exposed than the selection. Race-fit Walhaan's Irish Flat form is on a sound surface, but he won on heavy in France in 2018 and has hurdling form on testing ground, so should compete. Both Mr Rango's wins have been at this distance and he ran well on his recent reappearance, with Duke Of Leggagh finishing seventh. Givemehoperosa finished behind Queenie St Clair last October before winning a heavy-ground C&D maiden, but she faces a tougher task on her reappearance.

MR RANGO is on a fair mark and shaped as if he'd strip fitter for his stable debut when third at Naas last time. Back up in trip, he's fancied to capitalise on a handy mark, with Global Energy regarded as the chief threat. Givemehoperose should also give a good account.

Quite highly tried in his younger days GLOBAL ENERGY seems to have found his level and can complete the hat-trick

14:22 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

An open event in which only a tentative vote can go to Brett Johnson's DULCET SPIRIT. The Invincible Spirit mare was unable to trouble the judge over 6f at Kempton last time but the return to further will suit and, from a competitive mark, it would come as no surprise were she to mount a stern challenge. Kondratiev Wave finished a good second on his latest outing and must enter the reckoning from an unchanged rating, while Ballybaymoonshiner, who looks to record a third success from his last four starts, is also noted.

A chance is taken on MASHAAN, who has a 10-month absence to overcome but has been given a big chance by the handicapper on first start back with his former yard. Ballybaymoonshiner is respected in his follow-up bid, with Hul Ah Bah Loo another not to take lightly, especially with a strong pace forecast.

Mashaan is potentially thrown in back with Alice Haynes but the in-form BALLYBAYMOONSHINER (nap) looks the safer option today.

14:30 Market Rasen Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DEXPERADO went close on his handicap debut over C&D when benefiting from a step up in trip and the five-year-old is more than capable of building on that display, even with a 4lb higher mark. Long Draw would be a major threat if reproducing the performance that carried him into third at Taunton in December, while others for the shortlist include She's A Rocca, a winner at Southwell in October, and Mr Hope Street.

DEXPERADO took a big step forward in first-time cheekpieces when runner-up on his handicap debut over C&D 3 weeks ago and is the percentage call to go one better. Long Draw perhaps found the heavy ground against him at Southwell and is worth another chance back under less testing conditions, with Rickety Gate completing the shortlist.

It can pay to give another chance to unexposed 5yo LONG DRAW, who disappointed last time but still has considerable potential.

14:40 Wolverhampton Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

In what should be an informative affair, ENCHANTING EMPRESS can get off the mark at the first time of asking and justify some big sales-race entries in the process. Her sire Sergei Prokofiev has made a flying start with his first crop and Dominic Ffrench Davis' youngster can enhance that record here. Amerjeet, a 90,000gns son of Blue Point, may emerge as the main danger to the selection, while Kaadi completes the shortlist for a stable that knows how to ready first-time-out winners.

Plenty of the usual yards represented for an early-season 2-y-o newcomers' race, with ENCHANTING EMPRESS preferred over Amerjeet and Kaadi before the all-important betting clues.

No form to go on here but ENCHANTING EMPRESS looks a likely type on paper. Unthinkable is another to consider.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GALLANTLY improved from his debut when finishing second on testing ground at Naas last October. By Frankel and out of a French 1000 Guineas winner, he holds a Dante entry and while yet to show star qualities, can put his experience to good use. Naturally Nimble himself ran well on debut last September, finishing behind a subsequent Group 3 winner. He too should handle heavy ground and while the third-placed horse at Galway is exposed, Naturally Nimble finished his race nicely, suggesting he will improve. The regally-bred Mundi is a brother to Churchill, among others, but is stable second string and is sure to benefit from his debut, with heavy ground likely to inconvenience. Norwalk Havoc was well beaten on debut last May, while Your Out Of Line is the first foal from a winning dam.

Joseph O'Brien's NATURALLY NIMBLE made a promising start when runner-up at Galway and can build on that on his seasonal return to fend of the Aidan O'Brien-trained duo Gallantly and Mundi who both pose big threats.

No match for subsequent Eyrefield Stakes winner Grosvenor Square on his debut at Galway, NATURALLY NIMBLE may master the Ballydoyle duo

14:52 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Dylan Cunha has enjoyed a fruitful start to the new season and JUSTAHUNCH could provide the Newmarket handler with further success. The three-year-old found only a well-supported favourite too strong at Southwell last month and, from an unchanged mark, he can go one better. Unavailable must shoulder a penalty having been on target over 6f here five days ago and she remains of significant interest, while handicap debutant Kohana Girl might prove best of the remainder.

UNAVAILABLE showed improved form when easily making all in an 11-runner handicap here last week and is a straightforward choice to follow up under a penalty. Justahunch made a good start for his new yard when runner-up at Southwell recently and is considered the main threat.

Unavailable is a big player after her breakthrough recent win but JUSTAHUNCH looks a viable alternative after a good stable debut.

15:00 Market Rasen Handicap Chase (Class 3) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

DIBBLE DECKER improved from his return to action when scoring at Wincanton before just being denied by a neck at Huntingdon. The eight-year-old doesn't appear to have reached his ceiling yet and is taken to get his head back in front on this occasion. Jet Plane bounced back at Sandown and is a player off 2lb higher, while a drop in class and the application of blinkers for the first time might see a revival from War Lord.

All the better for his reappearance when successful at Wincanton in January, DIBBLE DECKER again ran well when going down narrowly at Huntingdon 38 days ago (clear of remainder) and, nudged up just 2 lb, he looks sure to go well again. Jet Plane returned to the pick of his early-season form when scoring at Sandown himself latest and is a threat provided he keeps the errors at bay. William Cody and Gloire d'Athon are others in the mix.

Having posted a win and a near-miss on his last two starts, the in-form DIBBLE DECKER (nap) earns the vote. Jet Plane is a danger.

15:10 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

No Half Measures represents the in-form Richard Hughes team and, on the back of a victory at Lingfield last month, she warrants respect. Preference is still for BEVERAGINO, who finished half a length behind a subsequent winner when looking stretched by 7f here on her reappearance and, dropping back to 6f, the daughter of Soldier's Call can get her head in front for the first time. Mademoisellecancan is respected, although an improved display would be required for her to take the gold medal.

The form of BEVERAGINO's third over further here on her return is strong (second, fourth, seventh won next time) and she gets the vote over Lingfield-winner No Half Measures. Mademoisellecancan likely has races in her also.

The penalised NO HALF MEASURES would have been 7lb better off with Beveragino were this a handicap, but she can progress again.

15:15 Leopardstown Listed 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GOLDANA ran well on last month's comeback and receives weight from today's principal rivals. A 2022 Listed winner when trained in Germany, she is suited by testing ground and this distance, with her reappearance run pleasing because she conceded 20lb to the two three-year-olds who defeated her. Lord Massusus has soft-ground form and progressed well last year to finish second in a Group 2 at Newmarket. He was two lengths ahead of Self Belief at Cork last September, when 4lb better off, and should confirm those placings as Self Belief's best form is over slightly further. Power Under Me disappointed in that Cork race, when reported to be post-race normal. A dual C&D winner who needs easy ground, he weakened late on in the Cork race and while he should reappear in better form, is now a six-year-old who needs his best form to win. A mile will stretch Big Gossey.

GOLDANA produced a solid comeback run when third in a Group 3 at the Curragh 23 days ago, losing little caste in defeat conceding plenty of weight to a pair of 3-y-os, and she looks to hold sound claims of coming out on top on these terms with her yard having bagged this prize 12 months ago. Lord Massusus and Power Under Me can give her most to think about.

Last season's Gladness Stakes winner GOLDANA may improve enough from last month's Curragh run to land this prize

15:22 Lingfield Maiden (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOLDEN PATH put in a promising display when fourth on her debut over a mile here last month and the daughter of Golden Horn could be hard to beat with the benefit of that experience. Roger Henry was behind the selection on that occasion but showed more on his racecourse bow, and it is far too soon to be writing him off. Jorgio J and Machete Beach are both noteworthy newcomers.

GOLDEN PATH caught the eye finishing well on her debut here last month and, with the step up in trip sure to suit, she's a confident selection to get off the mark at the second time of asking. Roger Henry is worth another chance to build on his debut effort, with Clara Barton pick of the newcomers before market clues.

Wannabeawallaby and GOLDEN PATH both ran well over 1m here on debut and can step forward now upped in trip.

15:30 Market Rasen Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

King Of The Road won comfortably over an extended 2m2f here and demands respect under a 7lb penalty, while Huntingdon scorer Ruler Legend must also enter calculations. The vote, however, goes to handicap debutant SMURFETTE. She has performed creditably in each of her four starts to date, particularly when chasing home the useful Lunar Discovery (since Listed-placed) at Hexham last time, and an opening mark of 100 seems fairly lenient.

Ben Pauling's KING OF THE ROAD scored in taking style here recently and looks hard to side against under a 7 lb penalty. Huntingdon-victor Ruler Legend is another weighted to have a say and could emerge as the main danger, although Dan Skelton's handicap-debutant Smurfette and in-form maiden We Got Your Back can both have a say too in a competitive handicap.

A comfortable winner on last month's handicap debut, RULER LEGEND could still be well treated after a 7lb rise.

15:40 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 9.5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

In what is perhaps an indicator to her chances, Jim Crowley arrives to take the one ride aboard handicap debutant REMARKABLE FLIGHT. The daughter of Gleneagles is related to a host of useful types and should prove better than her opening mark of 60, although we might not see the very best of her until sent over middle distances. Con Te Partiro goes in search of a hat-trick having been on target here and at Kempton recently. A 4lb rise for the latest of those victories does not look excessive and he appeals as a leading candidate, along with Kinetic, who shaped with promise at Southwell.

CON TE PARTIRO has upped his game significantly since switched to handicaps and the hat-trick is firmly on the cards in a weak race. Aljadel, who was successful when last seen four months ago, looks the main danger and Sneaky Blinder can't be ruled out upped in trip.

Last-time-out form points to another win for the hat-trick seeking CON TE PARTIRO. The chief threat appears to be Kinetic.

15:45 Leopardstown Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MERISI DIAMOND might defy a 14lb hike for winning well at the Curragh. His five siblings have all won, including two at Group/Grade 2 level (one being a Britannia winner), and after progressing well last autumn, confirmed that promise when winning easily last month. He goes back up in trip in a first-time hood and should better his current rating. Heavy-ground specialist Racing Royalty won Listowel Festival and Curragh handicaps at this distance last year and while beaten on his last run, is better over today's trip. Clear Quartz lost his chance with a slow start at the Curragh last month and is ideally suited by conditions, while Desert Haven has fallen to a career-low mark and has heavy-ground form. Five-time French winner Orandi ran OK on reappearance following a layoff, while dual soft-ground winner Mile End debuts for new connections having been bought for 4,000gns last November. Mogwli is in form but isn't ahead of the handicapper.

MERISI DIAMOND hit the ground running in some style for Martin Brassil with an emphatic Curragh success and can make light of a 14 hike in the weights to complete a hat-trick. Brains appeals as the one to chase him home ahead of Mogwli and Racing Royalty.

It's quite likely quite likely the lightly-raced 5yo MERISI DIAMOND (nap) remains ahead of the handicapper and he gets a confident vote

15:52 Lingfield Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SANDY PARADISE has been running well in defeat of late and was a close second over 7f at Wolverhampton 11 days ago. Off the same mark here, it would be no surprise to see the five-year-old go one better. Counsel won over C&D two starts ago and was not disgraced when runner-up last time, while Dembe edges out Thapa VC to be best of the rest.

DEMBE is undoubtedly lurking on a handy mark and not for the first time this year caught the eye when runner-up at Kempton (1m) for his new yard 9 days ago. He'll likely need the breaks dropping back 1f but could just be worth chancing in a race where they could well go a decent clip. Thapa Vc, Sandy Paradise and Counsel are others worthy of a second look in a competitive race.

Sandy Paradise and Counsel can go well but top-weight LEGAL REFORM could leave last month's reappearance behind him.

16:00 Market Rasen Handicap Chase (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Difficult to be too confident about any of these, but MOORE CLOUDS had a genuine excuse for her lacklustre performance at Catterick and had been in good form prior to that. The nine-year-old won her only previous chase outing at this venue and might be worth chancing. Claret Dabbler lines up off the same mark as when placed at Kelso and could go well again, while Jet Of Dreams also holds claims returning after wind surgery.

TEXARD is potentially thrown in on old form and took a step back in the right direction when third over C&D last time, so he gets the nod over Claret Dabbler, who ran well at Kelso a month ago. Jet of Dreams is also worthy of consideration on return.

This looks a puzzle, with several who might normally attempt to make the running. Slight preference is for CLARET DABBLER.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

There was plenty to like about CHARTWELL'S LADY's reappearance last month, with James Ferguson's filly finishing a creditable fourth over 1m2f at Lingfield. A further step up in trip is likely to suit the daughter of Churchill and given that the handicapper afforded her a 1lb ease in the ratings, this looks a good opportunity. Flowering (third) would appear to hold Pilgrim Of Culture (fourth) on their recent C&D clash and can uphold that form, although Walter Hartright might be the main danger.

MY NOBLE LORD hinted at ability last year and is bred to do better, so he's a likely candidate upped significantly in trip on the back of a gelding operation. Chartwell's Lady shaped better than the result last time and is one to consider, while Something To Do is a player despite the quick turnaround.

The vote goes to WALTER HARTRIGHT, one of several unexposed handicap newcomers. My Noble Lord is another.

16:15 Leopardstown Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The reappearing SNEDDY EDDIE likes testing ground and has winning form over similar distances. He was well beaten from 1lb higher on his latest run last October, but will handle conditions better than most. Six-time winner Conversant also has heavy-ground form, but is a nine-year-old now and has yet to win at this distance. Daonethatgotaway was gambled on when finishing second at Dundalk last month and again ran well on the all-weather recently. He is tried in first-time blinkers and while he should win from his rating, running on heavy ground for the first time is a concern. Sunday Evening finished ahead of the selection on heavy at Gowran last October. She was reported to have lost her action at the Curragh subsequently and a first-time tongue-tie is, worryingly, fitted on reappearance. Lisieux debuts for new connections and while suited by heavy, has won just once from 25 runs. Manhattan Dandy is useful on heavy ground.

DAONETHATGOTAWAY has run two good races since returning to action and appeals as the most solid option. Manhattan Dandy and Lisieux are a couple of potential threats.

A hopeful vote goes to SNEDDY EDDIE, a winner over just a bit further than this on heavy ground at Bellewstown last September

16:25 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Lilkian is a four-time C&D winner who has to be feared back at his favourite venue off 2lb below his last winning mark, while Mick's Spirit also rates a big player at this level despite his best form being posted over the minimum trip. However, JUNGLE CHARM has far more untapped potential and, having shown determination to land a C&D apprentice race last week, Archie Watson's filly is a highly appealing option off the same mark, with Luke Morris taking over in the saddle.

Low-mileage filly JUNGLE CHARM escapes a penalty for her C&D success 6 days ago and could well be the answer from a handy draw with further progress certainly not out of the question following just 4 career starts. Thismydream and Mick's Spirit are others to consider.

Most of these have something to prove but the unexposed and unpenalised C&D winner JUNGLE CHARM is a notable exception.

16:35 Market Rasen NH Flat Race (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TRAMUNTANA didn't have much to beat when successful on his racecourse bow at Fakenham in November, but Olly Murphy's gelding won easily and merits the utmost respect as a result. Off The Jury failed to build on a promising debut effort under Rules at Doncaster when fourth at Kempton last time. However, he should not be underestimated in this company, while The New Lion is the pick of the newcomers.

OFF THE JURY is given another chance in the hope a first-time hood helps him to settle better, with the form of his Doncaster second reading well. The New Lion is a very appealing newcomer for Dan Skelton, while Barleythorpe is one to note for Pam Sly. Tramuntana won a thin race at Fakenham and probably needs to improve under a penalty.

The first-time hood could have a settling effect on the headstrong point winner OFF THE JURY, and he's taken to come out on top.

16:45 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Ruth Carr would have been pleased with the effort of new recruit BARLEYBROWN, who was perhaps unfortunate not to have finished closer to the winner when filling the runner-up spot at Newcastle after encountering traffic problems. The son of Zoustar is unexposed on the all-weather and any further progress can see him go one better. A beaten favourite on each of his last two starts, punters may afford Enzos Angel another chance in what would look to be a winnable heat. Rubellite continues to run well in defeat and she is worth a second look too.

ENZOS ANGEL has been in good order lately and finds himself in an easier grade than last time, so he's a solid option ahead of Shake, who shaped well here on his penultimate outing and is unexposed for his current yard. Barleybrown is another one to consider.

In-form Ruth Carr can bag another winner courtesy of BARLEYBROWN (nap). Shaka, unexposed over this trip, also makes the shortlist.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

All of ANGEL ON FIRE's best form is on heavy ground, he is race-fit and ran well recently. He has won just once from 16 runs and finished just a short head ahead of maiden Atbay at Naas, but he is slightly better over this distance. Pascalia won on the all-weather in February and is capable of a little more improvement in a first-time tongue-tie and running on heavy ground for the first time. Three-time winner St Cianans Fire is in form, but has yet to run on ground this testing. So Messi was beaten long distances over hurdles recently, but is at least race-fit and had form at this level last year, albeit on better ground. Sapristi debuts for new connections, with heavy ground a concern, while conditions might also inconvenience Velvet And Vine, who drops in distance.

ANGEL ON FIRE stepped up on his reappearance run and very much shaped like this step back up in trip would be very much in his favour when fourth at Naas 17 days ago. Interesting from this sort of mark, he shades the vote to come out on top. Atbay, who was one place behind the selection latest, is a threat with blinkers enlisted for the first time. St Cianans Fire and the returning So Messi are others to consider.

Few appeal and a chance is taken on the still relatively unexposed RANKO EXPRESS, a winner on soft

17:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Having made all over a furlong shorter at Kempton when last seen, the hat-trick seeking CAPSTAN can extend his winning run, with the return to 1m4f very much in his favour. Even off a 5lb higher mark, the selection, a C&D winner on his penultimate start, still has room to move based on back form and appeals strongly given his proven effectiveness on Polytrack. Wolverhampton scorer Hill Station is respected under a 5lb penalty, although Tortured Soul is closely matched with that rival and also rates a solid each-way player.

TORTURED SOUL has proved a real success story on all-weather in recent months, gaining his sixth victory since joining Tony Carroll at Kempton in March and not looking at all suited by how the way the race developed when having his winning run ended at Southwell 3 weeks ago. He gets the narrow vote to come out on top again, with the hat-trick seeking Capstan, Restorer and Hill Station heading up the dangers in a competitive finale.

Tortured Soul, Hill Station and Geelong need major respect, but CAPSTAN has got on a roll and may complete his hat-trick.

TYPHOON FLYER showed promise on both previous appearances under Rules in Ireland and it would be no surprise to see the son of Walk In The Park make a winning start for new connections. Western Harmony was fourth on his Rules debut at Doncaster in January and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Woodland Park and Boston Boy.

TYPHOON FLYER rates the pick on the form of his Naas second and can make a winning start for Dr Richard Newland. Nicky Henderson's Western Harmony can build on his debut Doncaster fourth and is next best ahead of Kempton-third Woodland Park and newcomers Berkshire Lad and Korus.

Preference is for WOODLAND PARK, who was a promising third on his debut at Kempton in February and is open to improvement.

17:20 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SISTERS IN THE SKY exploited a handy mark to score over this course and distance 18 days ago and, off just 4lb higher, the Grace Harris-trained gelding has a good chance of following up, with the irrepressible Hollie Doyle back in the saddle. Having previously won twice aboard the five-year-old, Doyle's presence is a major factor in countering the mandatory ratings rise. Fellow last-time-out winner Hard Solution is feared most, despite also going up 4lb, although Arlecchino's Gift and Awesome Spirit are others with strong claims too.

A few with chances but COAST arrives on the back of a very good recent C&D second so edges the vote off an unchanged mark. Fellow C&D winner Sisters In The Sky is feared most, although a solid case can also be made for Miss Calculation and Awesome Spirit.

Front-runner Ustath is well handicapped but a chance is taken on JACKMEISTER RUDI, a free-going type who's on a winning mark.

Several of these are well handicapped, with the likes of Glorious Rio and The Princes Poet notably lurking on highly competitive marks. However, none appeal more than GIDWA, who is 21lb below his last winning rating and, having just been collared inside the final furlong off 1lb lower over 7f here last month, dropping back in trip could be a good move this time. Deputise and Higher Law are others to monitor in the betting market in a deep race for the grade.

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and GIDWA is fancied to go one better than his recent good second here and end his losing run. Peachey Carnehan is always to be feared round here and is next on the list ahead of another C&D winner Deputise.

Successful off a 21lb higher mark 18 months ago, GIDWA can only look well treated now. Deputise goes well fresh and is next best.

18:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

There was a lot to like about GOODWOOD ODYSSEY's debut success at Salisbury because he did plenty wrong. The son of Ulysses is expected to have learned plenty from that initial experience and gets the vote to make a winning return. Jayyash still displayed signs of greenness when runner-up at Southwell and is capable of taking another step forward. Approved Star, a 200,000-pound purchase at the Goffs UK Premier sale in August 2022, and American Riddle are a pair of newcomers who could be of interest.

GOODWOOD ODYSSEY looked a good prospect when making a winning debut at Salisbury last autumn and is fancied to return in style at the chief expense of newcomers American Riddle and Approved Star who are both in good hands and appeal on paper. Jayyash completes the shortlist.

He'll probably need a couple more furlongs before long but GOODWOOD ODYSSEY is taken to defy a penalty before going on to better things.

18:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ELLADONNA clearly needed time to develop and rewarded her trainer's patience when justifying strong market support on her handicap bow over C&D in December. The drop in trip also appeared to bring about improvement and a 4lb rise doesn't look to be particularly harsh. Hiromichi's 5lb penalty for his Lingfield victory on Friday is negated by George Bass taking 3lb off so he has to enter calculations. Brasil Power and Lady Of Arabia appeal most of the remainder.

ELLADONNA confirmed her previous promise when winning at this C&D on her handicap debut in December and, with further improvement to come, she can pick up where she left off to score again. Hiromichi added to his tally at Lingfield on his return and is respected under a penalty, while 3-time C&D winner Lady of Arabia is also considered.

The form of Ruth Carr's yard swings the vote in favour of DARWELL LION over Ernie's Valentine.

19:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Von Baer is respected but doesn't look particularly well treated for his handicap debut, while Jackson Street and Berkshire Nugget both need to improve to shake off their maiden status. Already a dual 7f winner, the consistent MR BALOO drops back down in class and with Alec Voikhansky claiming a valuable 5lb, the Richard Hannon-trained colt can make a flying start to his three-year-old campaign. The hat-trick seeking Silver Trumpet is feared most, despite going up 4lb for his latest win.

SILVER TRUMPET is progressive and showed a willing attitude when scoring at Southwell last time, so he gets the vote over Von Baer, who shaped well at Salisbury on his final juvenile outing. Jackson Street is also considered in what should be a tightly-knit affair.

Silver Trumpet bids for a hat-trick and has fitness on his side but VON BAER (nap) looks capable of foiling him.

19:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GOING THE DISTANCE looked a bright prospect when winning two of his three starts as a juvenile and could to be hard to beat if stepping up in trip initiates further progress. Reunited with Rossa Ryan, who was in the saddle when he justified favouritism in a novice event at Nottingham when last seen, trainer Ralph Beckett has taken steps to ensure continuity for the now-gelded son of Lope De Vega and he sets a good standard on his handicap debut. True Wisdom and Cloud Free complete the shortlist.

GOING THE DISTANCE looked a useful prospect when scoring at Nottingham on his final start last year, well on top at the finish, and he can continue his progress to land the hat-trick on his handicap debut. He is taken to get the better of Billiegee, who shaped as if this longer trip should suit on her latest outing, with Cloud Free the pick of the remainder.

There are reasons to believe that Ralph Beckett's GOING THE DISTANCE can go on improving switched to handicaps at three.

20:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It is hard to look past THE CRAFTYMASTER, who had a subsequent winner behind him in third when making it seven victories from his last eight starts at Newcastle and, nudged up a further 4lb, he gets the vote to show his rivals the way home once more. Moel Arthur was the subject of some market support when second over C&D on his return from a prolonged absence and he cannot be dismissed, although the bounce factor has to be a slight concern. The class-dropping Red Flyer should find this company more manageable than when finishing fifth at Lingfield on Good Friday.

An interesting heat despite the small field, with the prolific THE CRAFTYMASTER taken to extend his outstanding run of form and make it 8 wins from his last 9 starts. Moel Arthur shaped with plenty of encouragement on his comeback from a lengthy absence last time and could prove the biggest threat, with the consistent Red Flyer also considered.

Much the most reliable betting proposition is THE CRAFTYMASTER who can make it eight wins from his last nine starts.

20:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Punters will need to be in a forgiving mood to side with MR BOSON, but it might pay to do so. Hughie Morrison's charge weakened to finish down the field at Wolverhampton but, prior to that, he was an excellent second in a higher grade at Kempton and he sports a hood for the first time now. Fravanco has hit the woodwork on his last couple of starts and races off his last winning mark, while Be Fair is a strong stayer and if the early fractions are brisk, he can play a part.

DEVIZES is on an eye-catching mark and surely would've finished closer than fifth granted more luck in running over C&D last month, so gets the verdict over Fravanco, who was beaten only by one on a roll here last time. Nivelle's Magic also shaped well when finishing one place ahead of the selection last time and is another to merit respect.

Slight preference is for last year's winner DEVIZES over Nivelle's Magic. They finished fifth and fourth in a C&D handicap recently.
