(2) Be Here Now 3/1, Showed improved form when finishing runner-up on each of his last 3 starts as a 2-y-o and continued progressive theme this spring, winning handicaps at Newcastle/over C&D in recent weeks. Should continue to give a good account.

14:00 Southwell Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Be Here Now kept hitting the crossbar towards the end of his first campaign but has gained just reward for his consistency this term, showing excellent resolution to complete a Newcastle/C&D brace. His hat-trick plans could be scuppered by CLOUD KING, who was backed as if defeat was out of the question on his handicap bow over track and trip and although his supporters were made to sweat a bit, he overcame a troubled passage to score with plenty up his sleeve. Torvar should be happier back at the minimum trip, and Front Gunner warrants consideration too.

CLOUD KING was all the rage in the betting and proved a different proposition switched to handicaps when running out a comfortable winner over C&D 5 weeks ago. He's been hit with a 12 lb rise but the way he went about things suggests there's plenty more to come. Be Here Now is progressing nicely himself and rates the lead threat.

Be Here Now has more to come but he could be pushed to give weight to CLOUD KING (nap), so impressive over C&D last time.

14:15 Ayr Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

There was plenty of encouragement to be taken from HARSWELL DANDY's surprise debut second at Pontefract last week and a reproduction of that performance might prove sufficient. The daughter of Dandy Man may be given most to do by Far Above Mary, who is expected to prove more competitive on her turf debut, while Marry The Night is entitled to build on his opening bid when fifth at Thirsk.

Those with experience don't set the bar that high so a chance is taken on Charlie Johnston newcomer ZABEEL ROAD, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Pontefract runner-up Harswell Dandy is the one most likely to profit should the selection fail to deliver.

Harswell Dandy was over 6l ahead of PASTORAL WAY at Pontefract a week ago but the O'Meara colt can improve past her here.

14:30 Southwell Stakes (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

There was a good word for AMERJEET prior to his Wolverhampton introduction and although he ultimately let down odds-on backers, there was enough encouragement to take from his one-length third to suggest that a race such as this should be well within range. Addictive also shaped like an imminent winner when runner-up at Chelmsford, especially considering he was the victim of interference. The Man, a 145,000-pounds half-brother to a Listed-winning juvenile, is the most interesting of the newcomers.

AMERJEET and Addictive have an experience edge and shaped with promise on their respective debuts, with the first-named narrowly shading the vote here. Of the newcomers, The Man looks a likely type on paper and needs monitoring closely in the betting, as does Storm Call for the Karl Burke stable.

This could be a warm race with the newcomers all worth a market check but the experience of ADDICTIVE and Amerjeet counts for plenty

14:45 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Smalleytime appeared freshened up by a 51-day break when landing the spoils over 7f at Newcastle earlier this month. Although a 3lb higher rating shouldn't prevent another bold bid, this drop to 6f might leave the four-year-old vulnerable. With that in mind, it could be worth taking a chance on THAKI, who is returning to the C&D of his last success. Doon The Glen also warrants a second look after an eyecatching second at Gosforth Park on Friday.

CATHERINE CHROI had excuses last time and is given another chance back on turf. Doon The Glen shaped well when runner-up at Newcastle on Friday and will be a threat if coping with the quick turnaround. Smalleytime should also have a say for in-form Ben Haslam.

Forced to wait for a gap to appear before keeping on well for second at Newcastle on Friday, DOON THE GLEN looks ready to win soon.

15:00 Southwell Stakes (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HIGH ORDER bumped into a smart prospect on debut and confirmed the promise of that second placing when third at Newmarket's recent Craven meeting. The son of Frankel is expected to relish the extra quarter-mile he encounters here and can make it third-time lucky. Emaculate Soldier almost sprung a surprise over C&D on his return from the sidelines and certainly won't be sent off anywhere near odds of 50/1 now. He is the logical threat, unless newcomer Dancing Highlander is anything out of the ordinary.

HIGH ORDER has bumped into some good prospects when placed in novices at Newcastle/Newmarket and this looks an excellent opportunity for him to open his account. Emaculate Soldier proved a different proposition to his debut 11 months on when second over C&D 8 weeks ago and is a clear next best.

High Order is respected but EMACULATE SOLDIER has already proved himself over C&D and should come on for his recent return.

15:15 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Bustaam found a 10lb hike enough to prevent him from supplementing a Doncaster victory when runner-up at Pontefract earlier this month. He isn't taken lightly off the same mark, but FIVER FRIDAY makes slightly more appeal on her return to 1m2f. The four-year-old was far from disgraced when seventh in a 21-runner affair over 7f at the Curragh and a race of this nature looks within her compass. Powerful Response is just one more to consider.

Conditions were probably too testing for GAINSBOURG at Pontefract last time and, a winner twice from three visits here in 2023 and back on better ground, he could be the answer. Irish raider Fiver Friday wasn't disgraced in a big-field handicap at the Curragh recently and he is feared most back up in trip. Jean Baptiste should be in the mix if fully tuned-up for this seasonal reappearance and Bustaam will also be on the premises provided he gives his all.

Low-mileage 4yo BUSTAAM (nap) impressed when winning on his seasonal debut and was not discredited when second on his latest outing.

15:35 Southwell Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Alan King may be just the type to improve new recruit SMART CHARGER, who is best judged on his penultimate effort at Kempton over 1m3f when keeping on well for second behind a subsequent winner. The four-year-old is narrowly preferred to the unexposed Spring Chorus and Pierrefonds, who should be suited by dropping back in trip. Camacho Man and Red Dwarf are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

PIERREFONDS arrives in good form which counts for plenty in a race like this, and 12f may turn out to be his ideal trip. Red Dwarf and Crazy Crackers head the dangers.

Steps In The Sand makes a quick return from an abortive 2m run on Saturday and preference is for RED DWARF.

15:50 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CLASSY AL often runs well over this course and distance and put in a promising display when third on his seasonal return at Musselburgh. A reproduction of that form would given him a big chance here. Kalganov has not been beaten far on the all-weather this year and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of William Dewhirst and End Zone.

CUE'S BEAU was below par tried over a mile again at Chelmsford last time but she is of strong interest back down in trip and returned to turf. Indeed, she was a wide-margin winner of a Nottingham maiden on her sole previous start away from the all-weather last spring and has slipped to an attractive mark. The testing conditions may have counted against Al Muqdad at Catterick on his latest appearance and he is second choice with better ground forecast here. Kalganov is also worth a second look.

The pick is AL MUQDAD, who looked very well suited by the step up to 7f on Tapeta last month and is still unexposed over this trip.

16:10 Southwell Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

EVA ROSIE has got closer to breaking her duck with each start this year and she must hold every chance if building upon a narrow defeat over this distance at Newcastle last month. Stella Barclay's filly has competed off higher marks in the past and may have too much for Masham Moor (first) and Van Zant (second), who were only separated by a neck over C&D recently. Fourth in that contest was Specialist View, who remains open to improvement after just five career outings.

VAN ZANT did well in the circumstances (fared best of those ridden close to a strong pace) when pipped by Masham Moor over C&D earlier in the month and is taken to turn the tables on his old rival. Jamie Spencer is an interesting booking for Eva Rosie and she also makes the shortlist.

Masham Moor and Van Zant dominated over C&D recently but the fourth SPECIALIST VIEW could still have some improvement in her.

16:25 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

YIENGAA put in a career best when a close second over this trip at Nottingham nine days ago and the daughter of Land Force is clearly the one to beat on that evidence. Tip Top Tank failed to fire last time, but is a player based on his previous second at Newcastle and may improve for the application of a first-time tongue-tie and cheekpieces. Zaphea edges out Pinpoint to be best of the rest.

YIENGAA showed more than previously when runner-up at Nottingham 9 days ago and a repeat should see her firmly in the mix again. Tip Top Tank disappointed last time but could well bounce back now equipped with first-time cheekpieces/tongue tie. Pinpoint is also considered in a race lacking depth.

The most obvious answer is YIENGAA, who stuck to her task well when second at Nottingham nine days ago.

16:34 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Dark Dreamer has to be of interest having got off the mark at Kempton earlier in the month, but marginal preference is for CHIEDOZIE. The unexposed son of Advertise has made the frame on both previous starts in handicap company and remains on a workable mark. Split The Profit was narrowly denied at Southwell last time and is another to consider in a first-time visor.

DARK DREAMER showed much improved form to get off the mark on return/handicap debut at Kempton earlier this month and with further progress on the cards, Robert Cowell's charge can double his tally at the expense of Chiedozie, who was placed on both starts in handicaps last month and switches back to turf. Split The Profit can fill out third fitted with more severe headgear.

Topweight CHIEDOZIE holds solid claims and is taken to open his account. Bint Havana Gold ties in with the selection.

16:40 Southwell Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Narrowly denied over C&D last time out and a winner here in January, COPPER MOUNTAIN looks the one to beat on her eighth start of what has already been a busy year. Makalu arrives with similar claims after scoring over track and trip last month, while Amaysmont has yet to strike for trainer Kevin Frost but is now a massive 25lb lower than his last winning mark.

MAKALU might be able to add to last month's C&D classified success. Copper Mountain has a win and close second to her name over C&D this year and is an obvious danger. Star of St James is another who knows where the winning post is here and would be a threat to all if reviving with Silvestre de Sousa taking over the reins from a 7 lb claimer.

Makalu has more to come at this level on the AW but FLYING PANTHER is a well-treated candidate for his new yard.

16:50 Naas Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The market will provide vital clues to the relative merits of the many newcomers and FAIRY GODMOTHER is an obvious candidate from Ballydoyle. The Night Of Thunder filly cost 425,000gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to a Listed-placed juvenile winner. Moyglare Stud Farm have two interesting contenders in Sparkling Sea, by Starspangledbanner out of a winning Dark Angel mare, and Zharova (by Kingman), who cost 140,000gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to two speedy winners. Alumni Lia, Cold Hearted and Red Veil are others to consider, while Cradle Of Love was a promising third on debut at Dundalk.

This maiden has been won by some good fillies in the past. ZHAROVA is one of several likely-looking types and she will be very appealing indeed if the market vibes are upbeat. Aidan O'Brien has saddled three of the last five winners of this race and his representative Fairy Godmother is also of strong interest. The clear pick of the few with experience is Cradle of Love and she merits respect, while Cold Hearted and Sparkling Sea are two more noteworthy debutantes to consider.

A chance is taken on ZHAROVA to make a winning debut for a yard that has started the season in cracking style, She is bred to be speedy

17:00 Ayr Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It is hard to look past OLD COCK, who fared best of those held up off the pace when fourth at Newcastle on debut and, with that experience under his belt, he should take all the beating. Miaswell was sent off a warm order but could only manage fifth in a Newcastle maiden last September. Clearly better was expected and having his first run since wind surgery and a gelding operation, he is feared most. Crown's Lady is respected on her introduction, particularly if the market speaks favourably.

OLD COCK shaped with plenty of promise without being seen to best effect when fourth on debut in a Newcastle maiden (1m) 3 weeks ago and very much the type to do better on that evidence, he looks to have been found a good opening. The returning Miaswell can emerge as the chief danger, ahead of newcomer Crown's Lady.

This modest maiden appears to provide OLD COCK with an excellent opportunity to deliver on his debut promise.

17:09 Windsor Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NEMOV was a close second to a rival now rated 93 on his debut over this trip at Kempton in January and Clive Cox's colt is hard to oppose on the back of that performance, especially as he may improve for a subsequent wind operation. Perianth and Idle Assembly are the pick of the remainder, although better is anticipated from The Amazon.

There was plenty to like about NEMOV's debut effort when pulling clear with an experienced rival (who has won twice since) at Kempton back in January, so he's taken to go a place better on the back of a breathing operation. The Amazon and Perianth look his main dangers.

The clear form pick is Kempton runner-up NEMOV. Second choice is The Amazon, who should improve.

17:15 Southwell Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Having kept on from a position in rear, MAYO COUNTY posted a respectable third on her handicap bow at Newcastle last month. A 1lb drop in the ratings can only help Julie Camacho's filly and this looks a suitable opportunity for a breakthrough victory. The biggest threat may emerge from Notion In Motion, who produced his best effort to date when a staying-on third over 6f at Gosforth Park recently. Khamsin should appreciate this drop in class.

The return to this trip promises to suit KHAMSIN, who is on a good mark judged on what he showed on his first two efforts in handicap company. David Simcock's charge could be worth siding with in an open-looking contest. Body Parts will be a threat if able to get back on track, while Twenty Bob is third choice ahead of Madame Christine.

In a weak-looking handicap BODY PARTS is taken to bounce back from a below-par run last time. Mayo County should also run well.

17:20 Naas Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GOAL EXCEEDED beat the progressive Take Me To Church in a maiden on soft ground over C&D last autumn and the form of his reappearance when finishing well over the minimum trip at Cork has also been working out well since. Jessica Harrington has a strong hand, with riding arrangements suggesting Heavenly Being, a close-up third at the Curragh recently, is preferred to Glamorously, whose two wins last year included the Birdcatcher at this venue. Branding showed some promise on soft ground here last year, while Dundalk winner Clarita and Lively Set, with Dylan Browne McMonagle booked on her handicap debut, are others to consider.

GOAL EXCEEDED landed a C&D maiden on the third of this three starts at 2 yrs and shaped well when fourth on his handicap debut over 5f at Cork last month. He is entitled to come on for that run and makes plenty of appeal off the same mark back at 6f. Next on the list is Velvet Skies, who has found just one too good on each of his two starts on the all-weather this season. Clarita, off the mark at Dundalk when last seen in December, is best of the rest.

17:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Turned out again quickly after being denied as a short-priced favourite at Windsor last week, COCK AND BULL can gain compensation over a C&D he went close over in March. The slight rise in trip is another plus, and he should have too much for Doubletalk, who bounced back to winning ways with a taking performance at Chelmsford. Runner-up over C&D last time out, Chartwell's Lady cannot be ruled out either on just her third start in a handicap.

Claims can be made for all 4 with the vote going to COCK AND BULL, who has improved plenty in handicaps this year and surely has more wins in him. Doubletalk had a bit to spare from the thriving runner-up when scoring at Chelmsford recently so rates the main threat.

It might be worth siding with Sir Mark Prescott's JUDGEMENTOFSOLOMON, who could show a lot more upped to 1m4f on his handicap debut.

17:35 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

EBONY MAW bumped into an in-form rival when runner-up over 1m4f at Thirsk and, stepping back up in trip off just 1lb higher than his last winning mark, he edges preference. Philos bounced back to form when a creditable second over an extended 1m4f at Newcastle and, nudged up 1lb, he can make his presence felt. Laudable completes the shortlist on his first start for a new stable, and the betting may prove informative.

PHILOS was clearly sharper for the refitting of a visor when runner-up at Newcastle 2 weeks ago and still lightly raced on turf, he looks one of the likelier types stepping back up in trip. Billy Bathgate is a danger, along with Tafsir and Ebony Maw.

This might go to PHILOS, who posted a good effort in defeat behind a well-handicapped rival on Tapeta a fortnight ago.

17:39 Windsor Maiden (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WAFEI gave a high-class rival a fright when a short-head second on his debut at Haydock in September and it would not be a surprise to see him bounce back from a slightly underwhelming second start later that month. Lyric hit the crossbar on his racecourse bow at Kempton in November and has to be of some interest as a result. Others to consider are Hurtle Wallop and Lady Bancroft.

LYRIC found only odds-on Godolphin gelding Musical Act too strong on debut at Kempton back in November and this looks a good opportunity for John & Thady Gosden's charge to go one better now stepping up in trip. Second choice is Wafei, who failed to repeat his promising debut effort when last seen in the Autumn but remains with plenty of potential. Lady Bancroft and Master Builder certainly aren't out of things, either.

With their 2yo form having a good deal of substance, WAFEI (narrowly preferred) and Lyric are the standout contenders.

17:45 Southwell Handicap (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CHURCHELLA put a disappointment at Chelmsford behind her when regaining the winning thread over C&D. A 3lb rise in the ratings looks far from insurmountable for the four-year-old and she's fancied to follow up. Two Past Eight has been knocking on the door in recent months and is expected to give another good account, while there is likely more to come from Young Endless, who seems to love it at Southwell.

The suggestion is TWO PAST EIGHT, who went down narrowly in first-time blinkers at Kempton last month and he could have more to offer in this headgear. For Pleasure displayed a willing attitude when scoring at Chelmsford recently and he is just about second choice ahead of Young Endless, who was a decisive winner here earlier this month. Man of Riddles would be a threat if bouncing back, while there wasn't much between Churchella, Dark Mystery and Rock N Roll Pinkie over C&D 18 days ago.

In a competitive race for the grade TWO PAST EIGHT is taken to get off the mark on the AW. For Pleasure looks his main threat.

17:50 Naas Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Stag Night beat JON RIGGENS by nearly five lengths on testing ground over C&D last autumn and has continued to progress this term, showing good speed to score over the minimum trip at Cork last month. However, the pair now renew rivalry on 18lb different terms and Eddie Lynam's three-time winner can reverse the placings. Apache Outlaw won twice at Dundalk over the winter and lost his chance at the start in Lingfield on Good Friday, while stablemate Laugh A Minute comes here off two solid placed efforts at the Curragh. Twilight Jet has won twice at Group 3 level, including the Lacken Stakes at this venue, and has been given a chance by the handicapper this year.

MICKEY THE STEEL has dipped below the mark he defied at the Curragh last autumn and might be worth chancing after taking a step back in the right direction back at the Curragh recently. Stag Night rates an obvious danger on the back of his Cork success at the end of March. Tough Talk and Laugh A Minute also make the shortlist.

An open-looking handicap in which a bit of value may be had in DAGODA, who caught the eye on her recent seasonal return at the Curragh

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

This can go the way of PRO BONO ALEXANDER, who has been in excellent form on the all-weather in Ireland and could still be well treated off a mark of 73 on her British debut. Cluedo must enter calculations after scoring with authority over C&D last October, while Make Clear is another to note following a success on her first start for new connections at Dundalk earlier in the month.

CLUEDO ended her 3-y-o season with a taking success over C&D in October and appeals as very much the type who'll do better still at 4. This does look competitive, though, with Irish-raiders Make Clear and Pro Bono Alexander heading the dangers.

An interesting race in which Henry Candy's CLUEDO gets the vote ahead of Make Clear and the handicap newcomer Rosy Affair.

18:09 Windsor Maiden (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Even though he was turned over at a short price at Yarmouth, FIGHTER COMMAND still sets a decent standard, with that third and last year's debut second at Kempton evidence that he has a fair amount of ability. He can reward those who keep the faith, with his biggest threats probably coming from the unraced brigade. Dramatic Star is a Sea The Stars colt out of a Group 3-winning stayer, whereas there is plenty of speed in More Thunder's pedigree and he cost 270,000 euros as a yearling.

FIGHTER COMMAND wasn't able to land the odds at Yarmouth on his return, but the steady pace played against him so he remains with potential given the promise he showed on debut. He can step forward from his recent outing to get off the mark, with Liam Swagger feared most having shaped better than the result on his first start, ahead of newcomer Dramatic Star.

The form horses are FIGHTER COMMAND and Liam Swagger, while Dramatic Star and More Thunder are interesting newcomers.

18:20 Naas Listed 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

OCEAN QUEST got last season off to an impressive start, beating Aesop's Fables by six lengths in the Committed Stakes on heavy ground at Navan, and the Jessica Harrington-trained filly again put up a smart performance in the Group 3 Ballyogan Stakes here in August. Her form tailed off towards the end of last term, but hopefully she bounces back with the yard in good form. Go Athletico won three times with cut in the ground last year and the form of his win in the Group 3 Renaissance Stakes at the Curragh, with Big Gossey in second and both Aesop's Fables and Ocean Quest well behind in third and fourth, reads well. Moss Tucker gives away weight to all, but won this last year and went on to land the Group 1 Flying Five at the Curragh.

AESOP'S FABLES can make the most of the 5 lb he receives from Moss Tucker and prevent Ken Condon's charge landing this for a second year running. Jessie Harrington's Ocean Quest won at listed level on her 2023 reappearance and looks best of the remainder.

OCEAN QUEST(nap) isn't far behind the best of these, she goes particularly well fresh and at this track, so can take their measure

18:30 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A surprise winner on her debut here over 7f, COURT DRIVE looked a filly with plenty of ability and she can prove that was no fluke under a 7lb penalty on this occasion. The drop in trip should not inconvenience either, and it may be Kento that gives her the most to think about with Connor Planas taking off a useful 3lb. Not beaten far at Kempton last time out, Boadicia is entitled to be thereabouts.

STAR PUPIL caught the eye in a better novice than this when fifth at Kempton and can finish in front of Boadicia, who was a close third in the same race. Penalised-winner Court Drive is another to consider.

Preference is for KENTO, who sets the standard on his front-running third behind a useful rival over C&D last month.

18:39 Windsor Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A gelding operation appears to have been the making of MYTHICAL GUEST because he won as he liked on his Yarmouth comeback and although 9lb higher now, he is fancied to go in again. He has an edge in recent match practice over First Officer, who signed off 2023 with a pleasing second placing. Fast Steps also occupied the runner-up berth on his latest appearance, over C&D a couple of weeks ago, and is another to consider.

MYTHICAL GUEST proved a different proposition on his return (had been gelded) when opening his account in fine style at Yarmouth 16 days ago and he is taken to score again now that he's up and running. Asgard's Captain has already won 4 times this year and is worth forgiving his latest run, with Fast Steps completing the shortlist.

The signs look good for FAST STEPS, with Oisin Murphy back on board. Mythical Guest is feared most.

18:50 Naas Maiden 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TRANQUILLITATIS' two half-siblings were black-type performers for her trainer, including the smart Piz Badile, and she is out of a Listed-winning half-sister to Oaks winner Light Shift. Unraced as a juvenile, she now at least debuts at a good time of year and could be capable. Fleetingly flopped on debut here last month but is likely to prove better than that. She was probably unsuited by heavy ground then and while she also travelled lazily, first-time blinkers are applied and she has an excellent pedigree. Hasna showed nice ability when finishing second to an experienced winner at Dundalk in February and while she faces a tougher task, should improve. Chick Flick finished ahead of Fleetingly last month but was well held since, while Improvista (who runs in a first-time tongue-tie) and Purple Sky were both well held on debut.

HASNA showed plenty to work on when runner-up in a Dundalk maiden and is bound to improve for this longer trip (from the family of connections' Derby winner Harzand). Fleetingly failed to meet expectations on debut here 5 weeks ago but she's worth another chance on better ground, while Kingman filly Tranquillitatis is a newcomer to note.

The beautifully-bred TRANQUILLITATIS is chosen to make a winning debut for a yard that has started the season in flying form.

19:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DIAMOND DREAMER displayed a willing attitude when winning at Lingfield earlier this month. A 3lb higher rating looks workable for Patrick Chamings' charge and a brace could be on the horizon. Jungle Run warrants respect having posted a close-up third over C&D last month and he's entitled to build on that. The five-year-old may give the selection most to think about, ahead of Jack Of Clubs.

Plenty with chances. JACK OF CLUBS made a solid return to return to action when third at Thirsk 3 weeks ago and can come good returned to the scene of his previous win. Jungle Run is another who arrives on the back of a good comeback run and is second choice ahead of last-time-out Lingfield scorer Diamond Dreamer.

Preference is for DIAMOND DREAMER, who has won on Polytrack in two of his last four starts and is open to more progress.

19:09 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Gold Aura keeps performing well in defeat and surely won't remain a maiden for too much longer. The returning Mrembo and Naasma also have plenty to recommend them, but it pay to take a chance on the potential of one of the handicap debutants. PIQUE' is out of a Lancashire Oaks winner, from a fine family, so the rise in trip should play to her strengths. Her recent Wolverhampton fifth gives her an edge over Allonsy, who is out of a Park Hill heroine but hasn't been seen this year yet.

PIQUE is bred to be much better than this grade and having shaped quite nicely in her qualifying runs over inadequate trips, a much-improved display looks on the cards here. Allonsy is another 3-y-o to consider, with Gentle Whinny perhaps the pick of the older bunch.

There is surely progress to come from PIQUE'. Second choice is Allonsy, a similar type.

19:20 Naas Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SNELLEN's rating of 92 almost seems too good to be true, having won the Chesham Stakes at Royal Ascot last June. She was green on debut, and again drifted left when scoring at Ascot, and while disappointing in the Debutante Stakes in August, ran a solid race at Group 3 level last October. That form is strong as the winner subsequently finished fourth at Group 1 level, the runner-up finished second in a recent Guineas trial, while both the third and fifth each won recent Group races. Air Commander is race-fit and battled well to win at Dundalk recently. He, too, should better his rating but might struggle to beat the selection. The race-fit Marty The Party should also compete from his initial handicap rating of 85 and easy ground would suit, while Cardinal Zin is proven in handicaps. Spanish Flame beat recent Cork winner Bremen at Tipperary last July, but disappointed subsequently and has been gelded.

CARDINAL ZIN showed much improved form on handicap debut when just edged out at Gowran on his comeback on Wednesday and has obvious claims off the same mark if this doesn't come too soon. Air Commander rates a useful prospect and looks the main threat ahead of Port Louis.

MARTY THE PARTY looks just the type to thrive as a 3yo and begins the season on quite an attractive mark

19:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Having finished fourth in a 0-65 contest over track and trip earlier this month, Big Dream merits respect. The six-year-old is unlikely to be far away, but WHITE UMBRELLA, who finished ahead in second on that occasion, is the one to beat and Christopher Kellett's mare ticks plenty of the right boxes. Nordic Glory and Porfin also warrant a second look.

It's tricky to rule out any of these. BLUE COLLAR LAD has had excuses for his 2 defeats since his C&D success and is given one more chance to show he's still on a good mark. Nordic Glory and White Umbrella head the dangers.

This looks wide open but WHITE UMBRELLA should get a good pace to aim at and she gets the vote ahead of Nordic Glory.

19:39 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

HATADORA was denied in the shadows of the post when a game second in a C&D handicap last week and it would be no surprise to see Richard Hannon's filly go one place better. The booking of Oisin Murphy aboard Calm Waters on her stable debut catches the eye and even though she hasn't cut much ice in her three qualifying runs, better can be expected now handicapping. Meet Me In Meraki's Lingfield fourth can be upgraded because he was short of racing room.

HATADORA improved on her AW form when runner-up in a C&D handicap a week ago and having been eased 1 lb, she makes plenty of appeal from a handicapping perspective. Sneaky Blinder and Meet Me In Meraki head the opposition.

The vote goes to HATADORA (nap), who went very close to justifying favouritism here last week. Sneaky Blinder is second choice.

19:50 Naas Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SO MESSI has a dreadful draw in 21, but is race-fit and ran well in a recent handicap. Placed in all three handicaps runs to date, he bumped into an unexposed winner at Leopardstown recently and while 2lb higher and wearing first-time cheekpieces, has form on yielding ground. Adhuil ran well at Gowran on Wednesday and although a 20-race maiden, his rider again claims 10lb and he should get involved. Naisiun won here in March and might be better suited to a mile than when finishing midfield in a recent Curragh handicap over 6f. Badly-drawn (17) Fleetfootsoldier has done most of his racing on the all-weather, but has a good record from three runs on turf and debuts for a new yard. Dual turf winner Hale Bopp has had a busy winter on the all-weather and is holding his form, while Atbay was seven lengths behind the selection (My Birthday Girl was fifth) at Leopardstown.

Following some underwhelming efforts over hurdles, SO MESSI ran up to his best returned to the Flat when third at Leopardstown 3 weeks ago and, still fairly lightly raced in this sphere, he could be up to defying this sort of mark. Fleetfootsoldier, Adhuil and Atbay are others to consider.

Wide open with a tentative selection going to SO MESSI on the back of a good Leopardstown run

20:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GASTRONOMY justified strong support in the market when opening his account at Newcastle recently. The gelded son of Ulysses scored with enough in hand that day to suggest that a 6lb higher mark won't be enough to prevent him from following up, and he's taken to get the better of fellow last-time-out winner Fox Flame. Charlie Johnston's filly boasts five victories to her name on the all-weather and she isn't taken lightly, with Surrey Belle making most appeal of the remainder.

The vote goes to SURREY BELLE, who made it third time lucky on the all-weather when scoring over C&D at the end of last season. She remains both unexposed at this trip and on a fair mark following a 3 lb rise in the weights. Gastronomy opened his account in decisive fashion at Newcastle recently and looks a big danger on the back of that. Fox Flame was also a winner last time out and should be in the mix, too.

Top of the list is Charlie Johnston's FOX FLAME (nap), who was as good as ever when scoring with authority at Chelmsford last time.

20:09 Windsor Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CINQUE VERDE showed up well for a long way before fading into fourth over 7f at Lingfield and, stepping back to the minimum distance off an 8lb lower turf rating, Tony Carroll's speedball gets the vote to show her rivals a clean pair of heels. Bang On The Bell is also likely to race on the speed and although he posted a below-par effort at Yarmouth most recently, he is the type to bounce back and looks the main danger off a 2lb lower mark. Last year's winner Mary Of Modena has to be considered too.

ANTIPHON ran better than on his return when fourth at Brighton 9 days ago, despite meeting trouble on more than one occasion, so he could be ready to get his head back in front from 5 lb below his last winning mark. Cinque Verde arrives in good form from the all-weather and isn't taken lightly, while Mary of Modena is also one to note.

Off a very handy mark back down in trip/grade, SAFARI DREAM gets the vote. Antiphon is second choice.

20:20 Naas Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SUMMER SNOW is drawn wide in 20, but won easily on Wednesday and is officially 6lb ahead of the handicapper under her fixed penalty. All her best form, and both her wins, have come over 7f so stepping up to a mile is a concern, but she scored in a first-time tongue-tie at Gowran (Master Garvey finished seventh) and can progress a little further. Numidia returned from a break when running well at Dundalk recently, with his only win, albeit from 30 runs, being at this distance. Ano Manna won twice at Killarney last year before being involved in an identity mix-up at that track in September. She disappointed on her most recent run, but that was almost certainly due to heavy ground and she will be far better suited by drying conditions. Breezy Zoff has been well held recently but reverts back down to this grade and is race-fit. Sound Move ran reasonably well on recent handicap debut, while Lisabetta had some useful form last year.

A big field but it's still hard to ignore the claims of SUMMER SNOW, who made a sparking debut for her new yard at Gowran on Wednesday. Numida and Master Garvey are a couple of potential threats.

SUMMER SNOW is taken to follow up her easy Gowran 7f win five days ago despite carrying a 7lb penalty and drawn wide.

20:30 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

AL BAAHY would have finished a lot closer to the protagonists but for a troubled passage when finishing down the field over an extended mile here in December. Dropping back to 7f off a 2lb lower mark, he shades preference on his return to action. Dion Baker arrives on the back of an admirable fourth over a mile at Yarmouth most recently and he should appreciate this reduced yardage on his return to an artificial surface. Candy Warhol was an excellent third over a mile at Lingfield last time and is respected.

EMBARKED had excuses at Kempton and makes plenty of appeal back down at 7f in re-fitted blinkers. Streak Lightning and the returning Al Baahy are other likely players.

An open race in which dual AW winner EMBARKED gets the vote ahead of Candy Warhol, Streak Lightning and Dion Baker.

(6) Olympic Quest 14/1, Capitalised on the drop in to 0-55 company when shedding the maiden tag over C&D in January. However, hasn't been in anything like the same form in 2 starts since, including when eleventh of 13 in handicap on turf debut at Bath (1m, good to soft) 10 days ago.
Inconsistent 4yo but her win came over C&D; has claims if she can bounce back near best.

Good second over 7f here last time and he's a big player if he can settle back up in trip.

21:00 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SOUTH DAKOTA SIOUX was caught further back than ideal after an awkward start when finishing sixth over 6f at Kempton last month. Eased 1lb and stepping up to this trip for the first time, he gets the vote to come home in front. Haalim was last seen finishing a creditable second over 7f here earlier this month and, upped 2lb, he cannot be dismissed with any great confidence. C&D winner Olympic Quest completes the shortlist but will need to bounce back from a below-par effort most recently to take the gold medal.

LIGHT UP OUR STARS hasn't been at his very best in recent starts, but he returns to the scene of his last success operating from a much-reduced mark and could just be worth chancing to bounce back. Devasboy in a refitted visor is another worth a look with lightly-raced pair Haalim and Daffin others in the mix.

This looks trappy but the vote goes to HAALIM, who was second over 7f here last time and is a big player if he can repeat that form.
