There were 40 Races on Thursday 15th May 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 7 races at Salisbury, 7 races at York, 6 races at Perth, 7 races at Clonmel, 6 races at Fontwell, 7 races at Kempton, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

THUNDEROUS LOVE arrives here on the back of two wins last month and a 3lb rise for the most recent of those victories may not be enough to stop her from making it a hat-trick. The Cola Kid was a close third over course and distance earlier in the month and could make the frame again, while Clipsham La Habana and First Company are others to note.

Thunderous Love is the one to beat but UNICO looks a viable alternative now her yard has hit top gear.
Class & Speed Card

Having fended off reopposing rival Jm Jungle on his return to action at Musselburgh last month, American Affair warrants respect in his follow-up bid. However, a 4lb rise demands more from the five-year-old and fellow last-time-out winner SPARTAN ARROW may prove more leniently handicapped. Archie Watson's charge looked improved for the introduction of cheekpieces at Epsom and he may defy a 7lb higher mark. Shagraan and Pilgrim are the pick of the remainder.

American Affair is a major player but Nazron and JM JUNGLE are viable alternatives.
Class & Speed Card

Having dropped markedly in distance, THE LAST CLOUD arrives on the back of a narrow defeat over an extended 1m7f at Catterick. Although he may come into his own over further, this slight step up in trip could be enough for him to open his account. The biggest threat may emerge from Kinbara Hills, who will find this less competitive than his latest sixth in a 20-runner handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse. Gonnino is also noted.

The suggestion is KINBARA HILLS, who ran much better than the bare form suggests in a big-field 2m4f handicap last month.
Class & Speed Card

It is hard to oppose MEDIA MOGUL, who followed up his Wolverhampton win in March with a success at Redcar last time. A further 3lb rise may still underestimate this progressive four-year-old and he clearly tops the shortlist. Macari made the frame over this trip at Goodwood a couple of weeks ago and is likely to be thereabouts again. Kotari edges out Youthful King to be best of the rest.

It may not be easy viewing, if the wins on his last two starts are anything to go by, but MEDIA MOGUL can complete the hat-trick.
Class & Speed Card

ROMIEU was quite taking on his UK debut when making all in a novice event at Redcar last month. An official rating of 90 looks workable for the Lope De Vega gelding and a third victory in four outings could be on the cards. The biggest threat may emerge from the returning Sisyphean, who ran out an easy winner over C&D in July last year. Blue For You and La Trinidad are some other likely players.

The well-bred and lightly raced 4yo STANAGE (nap) still has lots of potential upside and is the selection ahead of Northern Express.
Class & Speed Card

Mickey Bowen has made a fine start since taking over as the sole license holder and PEEJAYBEE could add another victory to his tally. The nine-year-old arrives on the back of a Ffos Las triumph and this looks a suitable opportunity for him to follow up. Although Whistleinthedark was let down by his jumping when finishing last at Haydock in February, he lurks on a dangerous mark and isn't taken lightly dropping into class 4 company. Kandor is the pick of the remainder.

This can go to KANDOR (nap), who won here over hurdles and ran his best race over fences when a close fourth over C&D last month.
Class & Speed Card

The betting market will be a key guide here, but marginal preference is for COMICAL POINT. Andrew Balding's colt cost 140,000gns as a yearling and his dam won over 5f as a two-year-old. With that in mind, the son of Blue Point merits the utmost respect, although Baybe Driver is another whose pedigree suggests that he could be a useful juvenile. Charlie Boyo, Chilliconcarneigh and Palmeira are others to consider.

A guessing game with no form to work with. BAYBE DRIVER is out of a 5f 2yo winner and his yard's youngsters are already off the mark.
Class & Speed Card

Although she could only muster a fifth-placed finish in the Gordon Richards at Sandown last month, there is every chance that SEE THE FIRE could improve for that seasonal debut. Andrew Balding's filly posted several creditable efforts in defeat at the top level last year and a return to the scene of her last success could prove fruitful. Nakheel ended her 2024 campaign on an upward trajectory and, despite this trip looking on the sharp side, the Park Hill hero shouldn't be underestimated. Doha should also have better days ahead.

Last season's Group 1 contender See The Fire may well start a warm favourite but ROYAL DRESS looks interesting upped to 1m2f.
Class & Speed Card

Summergrounds dug deep to complete a double at Ayr last month and must enter calculations in his current vein of form. However, the nine-year-old is effectively racing off 8lb higher without Ella McGarry's 5lb claim and he may prove vulnerable to the unexposed HAY MEADOW. Lucinda Russell's mare looked set to go close over C&D, only to unseat at the last. Go Go Chicago is also worth a second look now reverting to handicap company.

Unlucky here last time, the unexposed HAY MEADOW should progress further and is just preferred to hat-trick seeking Summergrounds.
Class & Speed Card

A highly encouraging third on her handicap debut at Lingfield last month, JAGETME is likely to have improvement to come over further and she can strike with Billy Loughnane taking over in the saddle. Dark Sorceress had Rumba Bay (fourth) behind when runner-up at Nottingham last time and both are entitled to be thereabouts again. Off The Bench and Piranha Rama cannot be ruled out either.

Jagetme and Dark Sorceress are respected but a stiff 6f could prompt an improved showing from OFF THE BENCH.
Class & Speed Card

THE LION IN WINTER unfortunately missed his initial intended assignment in the first Classic this year, but there is no doubting the level of ability the son of Sea The Stars showed in his juvenile campaign. Aidan O'Brien's colt produced a sparkling performance to beat Wimbledon Hawkeye (second) and subsequent 2000 Guineas winner Ruling Court (third) in the Acomb here last summer. He is likely to have lots more to offer, especially with this step up in distance expected to bring about any amount of improvement. Alpine Trail is unbeaten in three starts, with his best effort coming when successful in Listed company at Newmarket just under a fortnight ago, and he is one to watch.

Charlie Appleby could have another star 3yo on his hands in ALPINE TRAIL. Wimbledon Hawkeye is second choice now up in trip.
Class & Speed Card

JUST DOTTIE notched her third C&D success, producing a career-best performance in the process, when returning from a break here three weeks ago. Although now rated 9lb higher and without the assistance of Ben Smith's handy claim, champion jockey Sean Bowen takes over the reins and another big effort is forecast. Evaluation took a step forward when runner-up in a Kelso novice hurdle and warrants respect now trying handicap company. Bel Amigo must also enter calculations chasing his fourth win in a row.

The choice is KINBARA FIRSTDRAFT, a C&D winner last June, who is taken to beat Just Dottie, who gained her third C&D win last time.
Class & Speed Card

ARABIAN FORCE showed major improvement from first to second start when a determined winner at Wetherby and going up in trip should bring about further progress. The form of the stable is another plus, and the son of Lope De Vega is narrowly preferred to Gladius, who scored on debut at Kempton over 1m in a contest that has worked out well since. Spanish Train got the hang of things late in the piece at the same track last month and he is another to consider.

Expensive yearling GLADIUS impressed on his debut at Kempton and that form looks even better now.
Class & Speed Card

Aesterius took the Flying Childers at Doncaster prior to a respectable sixth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint at Del Mar last season and his chance is there for all to see. However, STAR OF MEHMAS did well to finish as close as third in Listed company at Chelmsford on her return and may take a big step forward. Richard Hughes' filly has plenty of pace and, with a smoother trip on the drop from 6f, she could be the one to beat. Mr Lightside and Tropical Storm are in with a shout too.

He lacks a recent outing but AESTERIUS displayed impressive form in 5f Group races last season and is taken to defy a 5lb penalty.
Class & Speed Card

STUMPS OR SLIPS won in a hack canter on his stable debut for Olly Murphy at Ffos Las recently and, 7lb well-in despite the penalty, he is hard to oppose in his bid to follow up. Cracking Destiny has a C&D victory on his CV and the veteran performer certainly boasts place claims following a pleasing comeback run at Kelso. We Got Your Back is another respected alternative having hit the crossbar at Southwell on his last couple of starts.

It's hard to oppose STUMPS OR SLIPS, who won in the style of a very well-handicapped horse on his recent stable debut.
Class & Speed Card

Although last of six in a warm Ascot novice on her debut, PRINCESS RASCAL showed plenty and is expected to step forward today. The daughter of Pinatubo looked outpaced approaching the furlong marker and, with stamina on the dam's side, these extra couple of furlongs will suit. Club Class is another that should benefit from a step up in trip, while the market can guide regarding debutant Cloaks Of Gold and the returning Lightning Touch, who hasn't been seen since December 2023.

An interesting race. PRINCESS RASCAL might be the answer after shaping nicely when a market drifter at Ascot.
Class & Speed Card

Jan Steen and WISE APPROACH both made winning debuts and the experience will count for a lot. The former impressed with a romp in a Thirsk maiden and is a bright prospect for Karl Burke's yard. However, it was a deeper contest Wise Approach won at Ascot and with a return there possible for something like the Coventry at the Royal meeting, this provides an ideal stepping stone for Godolphin's 1,000,000gns son of Mehmas. The betting should be informative where newcomers such as Full Gas, First Legion and Spaceman are concerned.

Godolphin's 1,000,000gns yearling WISE APPROACH finished strongly to win over 5f at Ascot two weeks ago and can defy a penalty.
Class & Speed Card

Not For Passin shaped encouragingly on his sole outing between the flags and can't be dismissed on his Rules debut, but newcomers Connells Cross and ZHANMA ENKI make most appeal. Both represent shrewd connections and are bred to be useful, with Stuart Crawford's filly just edging the vote. She is a half-sister to multiple winners, including the smart Yala Enki, and fetched 100,000 euros as a three-year-old. Her stable has enjoyed plenty of success at this venue over the years and she is likely to be ready for action.

Irish point second NOT FOR PASSIN is taken to go one better on his rules debut. Zhanma Enki and Connells Cross are feared most.
Class & Speed Card

Cafe Con Leche warrants respect with a rating of 120, although he didn't fire at all when out the back of a handicap hurdle in Killarney on Monday. His stablemate THE MASS PATH has a chance in the first-time visor. He ran a fair race in sixth in a handicap hurdle at Limerick last month and the horse well behind him in seventh came out and won nicely in Bellewstown. Trip and ground should be ideal for Circus Act and she is a significant threat based on her Down Royal success in April. British raider Thank You Blue has to defy top weight, but has three hurdle victories in the book and, if strong in the market, his prospects would be bright.

It might pay to side with British challenger THANK YOU BLUE, Jennie Candlish's first ever runner at the track
Class & Speed Card

VAN AERT was able to justify short-priced favouritism on his handicap bow at Kempton last month. The gelded son of Masar did have a tendency to hang that day though and it is no surprise to see cheekpieces employed for the first time. Returning to turf shouldn't be an issue, and a 6lb rise should be no barrier to further success either. Wolverhampton scorer Yellow Card is a threat, although he might be booked for second. Top Of Pleinmont heads the remainder.

Although 4lb badly in with a penalty, YELLOW CARD (nap) looks a good deal better than the bare form of his Wolverhampton win.
Class & Speed Card

Anniversary and RAHIEBB boast almost identical form profiles and hold significant chances. The former resumes with scope for progression in handicaps, although this is his first start since October and the prospect of fast ground could be problematic. Rahiebb has thrived with two respectable second-placed finishes since he made a winning debut at Newcastle in March. Given the son of Frankel was conceding a penalty to a promising type at Haydock, his most recent effort looks highly commendable. Merchant and Tuscan Star are other strong contenders.

Most are open to improvement, including ANNIVERSARY who looked a good prospect for this sort of trip at Newmarket in October.
Class & Speed Card

The Secret Pearl got up in the shadows of the post at Market Rasen last month but although she is respected under the penalty, a chance can be taken on ELUSIVE FEELING. Ben Pauling's mare struggled in a Listed bumper on her racecourse bow in January, but switching to hurdles will suit and it wouldn't come as any great surprise were she to progress. Others to note include She Is For Me Boys and Golden Echo.

Flat winner GOLDEN ECHO was not given a hard time when fourth at Chepstow last month and still has potential over hurdles.
Class & Speed Card

It was a much better race than this that KEEP KOOL COKO finished sixth in at the Punchestown Festival. He has two runner-up berths in maiden hurdles to call upon and ought to be a major contender. Trasna Na Pairce showed good improvement when third over a similar trip at Kilbeggan last month and there could be more to come from him. He also showed ability between the flags and when second in a bumper at Fairyhouse. Polemon has the ability to get involved too.

A career-best sixth, behind five previous winners at Punchestown last month puts KEEP KOOL COKO (nap) in the driving seat here
Class & Speed Card

Luke Catton has done well for John and Thady Gosden, and can take centre stage again with WESTRIDGE. The four-year-old is joint top-weight with Trouville and there is unlikely to be much between them if this goes true to form. However, Catton's mount has bags of scope for improvement and, with first-time cheekpieces added, he can better month's promising return over 1m2f at Newbury. Way Of Life and recent Haydock winner Afloat are other solid options.

There are other possibilities but WAY OF LIFE caught the eye last time and this may set up nicely if he's allowed to stride on.
Class & Speed Card

MOUNT OLYMPUS went agonisingly close in a maiden at Fakenham last time. Alan King's charge looks certain to relish today's extra yardage on that evidence and, from an opening handicap mark of 102, he is sure to have a big say in the outcome. Tom Lacey has his string in fine form so Light Dragoon needs to be taken seriously, despite the absence. Sambezi completes the shortlist.

Thankyouandplease is respected but LIGHT DRAGOON is open to improvement and can get back on track for his in-form yard.
Class & Speed Card

Stepping up in trip may help OAKLEY register a first NH win. His sole success in his native Germany came on the Flat, over just short of two miles, while he also scored over an extended 10 furlongs at Dundalk after. Jumping errors have plagued his career over flights to date, but there is no question that he is a very well-handicapped horse in this discipline. Perhaps with an additional three furlongs to travel here, the seven-year-old can open his account. Shock Listowel maiden hurdle winner Kingdom Calling showed a bit more when third at Limerick last time and he can go close. Silas Marner is another to consider.

Many with solid claims but a chance is taken on KINGDOM CALLING to take another step forward upped in trip from a falling mark
Class & Speed Card

A step forward from his Catterick second would put Belgravian firmly in contention, although he has been expensive to follow and is vulnerable to improvers on his Polytrack debut. GALLIVANTED has course experience and can use that to his advantage. When last seen, he was a respectable third over a mile in a race that has worked out well. Stepping up in distance could be ideal back here for his seasonal debut. John T also warrants serious thought.

Jon T should go well but GALLIVANTED's third at this track has been boosted since and the step up in trip should be no problem.
Class & Speed Card

A confident vote goes to the Paul Nicholls-trained FORTUNATE FELLA, who hit the woodwork over C&D on his chasing debut last month. Ben Bromley can claim his full allocation here, meaning the five-year-old is essentially 1lb lower, and with improvement on the cards, this is a fine opportunity. Ceejaybe was half a length behind in third that day and must enter calculations, along with Rock On Rita, who should appreciate a drop in trip.

None of these are overly convincing. FORTUNATE FELLA might be the answer after his encouraging chase debut.
Class & Speed Card

Recent Kilbeggan runner-up ORDER OF THE DANCE can strike for local trainer Edward O'Grady. Making his first start in handicap company, the five-year-old shaped with plenty of promise when staying on to take minor honours. If anything, the son of Order Of St George should be even better suited to this stiffer track with its uphill finish. Wexford winner Duke Otto also holds every chance for the Pat Flynn stable, while Walk Away Harry will need to jump better but has claims.

Order Of The Dance will relish the step up in trip but COLLEEN DANU can bounce back from her Cork midfield finish on this ground
Class & Speed Card

Day Of Grace, Summer Heat and Chilli Salt are interesting newcomers. However, experience can come to the fore and AL JOORY gets the vote given she has had time since she ran green when well supported on her debut at Southwell. With her yard in decent form, the daughter of Mohaather appeals the most resuming in what should be an informative race. Sea Poetry, who won a similar event at Newmarket on debut back in November, is the most obvious danger, despite conceding 7lb to the selection.

With so many unknown quantities the market will be revealing but, as things stand, SEA POETRY is preferred over Renewal.
Class & Speed Card

DECORATED made every yard of the running to score in comfortable fashion over 2m3f here last month and is just 7lb higher. If the seven-year-old remains in similar form, he will prove very hard to beat. Super Sabre Sam had to settle for fifth over C&D on the same card, but is 1lb lower and may get closer. Of the remainder, Golden Ambition makes the most appeal.

Preference is for ROCKOLA (nap) who probably ran as well as she ever has when third at Ludlow. Decorated is the danger.
Class & Speed Card

With an official rating of 116, BELLE THE TIGRESS is the standout name. A solid fifth on debut at Navan in November, with Keilah behind, she then finished an eyecatching third of 20 at Naas. A beaten favourite when last seen at Gowran, she probably wasn't in love with the testing ground and should be able to redeem herself now. A faller when still very much in contention on her last two starts, Russellsbelle is an obvious danger. Already twice placed over flights, the eight-year-old certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn. With two sound efforts to her name, Rhythm Of Life is of definite interest, while others for the shortlist are hurdling debutants Arctic Flame and dual Flat winner Moonlit Mist.

The promise of quicker ground can see BELLE THE TIGRESS shed her maiden tag at the fourth time of asking
Class & Speed Card

WARRNAMBOOL showed plenty of promise when fourth on his handicap/stable debut over C&D a month ago and, with the benefit of that outing behind him, he merits plenty of respect off a 1lb lower mark. Whizz By has been a consistent performer since switching to handicaps and she is likely to be in the mix once again. Others to note are Penelope Valentine, Kazakh and Spirited Dancer.

The vote goes to the consistent WHIZZ BY who has run well over C&D and has a nice draw. Penelope Valentine is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

ROCKS UP LATE was eased down to score on his chase/stable debut at Worcester last week and now has a 7lb penalty to carry. Considering the manner of his success, along with the potential for lots more to come, he could be the one to beat again. Fox Wallace, who is also penalised, emphatically recorded her first career success at Stratford and needs to be taken seriously. Hatos looks best of the rest.

Fox Wallace should give it another good go but ROCKS UP LATE is the sort to run up a sequence. Romanor is clear third choice.
Class & Speed Card

It might be worth siding with MISS GHERKIN in this open contest. A dual winner when in the care of Peter Croke, the six-year-old starts off now for Eoin Griffin. Failing to make a significant impact on her most recent starts at Naas, she might appreciate a return to quicker ground and it will be disappointing if she's not involved at the business end. Successful on the level at Ballinrobe last Friday, Expound is sure to have plenty of supporters. Returning to flights for the first time since October, he is already a Clonmel winner. Although very disappointing since finishing second at the Dublin Racing Festival in February, Kimy still warrants respect, while top-weight Glenashling and course winner Ballycashin are others for the shortlist.

A chance is taken on the lightly weighted FASCINATING SHADOW, who ran well on unsuitably soft ground on his recent comeback
Class & Speed Card

PRIMROSE PATH appeared to have a bit in hand when winning narrowly at Lingfield in December and it would be no surprise to see the daughter of Kodiac make a successful return, with her rider's claim negating the 5lb rise. Isabella Castile is an obvious danger following her second over 6f here recently, while Bridget's View and Dash Of Azure are others who make the shortlist.

The choice is ISABELLA CASTILE (nap) who is 1lb well in following a narrow defeat on her AW debut here ten days ago.
Class & Speed Card

Point-to-point winner Hard Stare weakened out of contention on his first start under Rules at Newbury, but could easily take a step forward in a first-time tongue-tie. Even so, THE BOSS BEAR looks the more appealing option. The five-year-old shaped with promise to fill the runner-up spot on his debut at Huntingdon and, with normal progression, he will prove very tough to beat. Any market confidence behind Flying Pimpernel would be interesting.

Hard Stare should go well in these calmer waters but THE BOSS BEAR shaped with loads of promise on his debut and can go one better.
Class & Speed Card

From the family of three-time Grade 1 winner Liss A Paoraigh, BALLYREDINKINGSTON looks the one to beat. Although without a win in five point-to-point starts, the Liz Lalor-trained grey was a solid fourth on his racecourse debut here in March. The subject of good market support at Killarney on Monday, he finished third there and will be well fancied to go a few places better now. Already placed three times, Dancing Dame is an obvious danger. While she failed to make an impact in a Listed contest at Navan in November, the Tim Doyle-trained six-year-old should appreciate this significant drop in class. Mustang Mozzie has two satisfactory efforts to his name and is of definite interest, while Carsons Dreamboat warrants respect, with Harry Swan aboard this long-absent Gordon Elliott-trained mare.

DANCING DAME looks the pick on her placed form in recent years. Although she lacks a recent run, she does go on this ground
Class & Speed Card

DOWN TO THE KID continues to go from strength to strength and a 6lb rise for his most recent success at Southwell may not be enough to prevent him from landing the four-timer, despite a wide draw. A promising second on his first start as a gelding at the same venue, Arctic Dawn is a key player, along with Ata Rangi, who arrives on a hat-trick after scoring comfortably over C&D on his first appearance for the Ed Walker team.

Typically open. ARCTIC DAWN was nicely clear of an in-form Drifts Away last time and the selection looks ready for a mile.
Class & Speed Card

CURRUMBIN was in fine form on the all-weather prior to struggling at Goodwood and this appeals as an ideal opportunity for him to gain a third career success off what looks a workable mark. A promising third over C&D last time out, Moel Arthur is capable of being in the shake-up again, while course winner Caprelo should have more to come in first-time cheekpieces.

Currumbin and Gooloogong are considered but CAPRELO steps up in trip with headgear fitted and he retains some potential.
Ths is the racecard key.
