Amelia Earhart struck in the same Leopardstown maiden that stable companion Minnie Hauk did 12 months ago en route to landing this and then Oaks glory, which entitles her to plenty of respect at the very least. As was the case with her brother Cleveland, she will surely benefit from a step up in trip and that may allow Aidan O'Brien to land his 10th Cheshire Oaks, but the Gosden's are no stranger to success in this contest either and I'M THE ONE is preferred. The daughter of Sea The Stars was mightily impressive when scoring on her debut at Newbury last month and, as the current Epsom Oaks favourite, may well be very special. Sugar Island looks next best.

Very promising I'M THE ONE is taken to cement her Oaks claims. Amelia Earhart is feared most.

STORMINHOME reacted well to the introduction of blinkers when a close second at Southwell in March and compensation could be on the horizon. A 2lb rise in the ratings looks workable for the nine-year-old and he's fancied to repel Elysian Knight. Neil Mulholland's inmate arrives on the back of a respectable fourth over timber at Plumpton and he's unexposed over fences. Dyno Dave can make his presence felt too.

Dyno Dave is second choice behind STORMINHOME, who is taken to build on an improved effort in the blinkers last time.

KILMORE ROCK is just 2lb higher than when winning this race last year and, after arguably producing a career-best performance when striking over C&D latest, he is fancied to retain his crown. Jericoacoara has placed on his last three outings, including when chasing home the selection 16 days ago, and he looks sure to be in the shake-up once again, while Rememberthename cannot be ruled out either.

It's hard to rule out any of these but the vote goes to last year's winner KILMORE ROCK who scored over C&D two weeks ago.

BENVENUTO CELLINI showcased a high level of form as a juvenile, winning impressively on Irish Champions Weekend before making the frame behind two stable companions in the Futurity Trophy at Doncaster, and has an excellent opportunity to continue Aidan O'Brien's fantastic record in this contest. The Ballydoyle maestro has won the Chester Vase on no less than 11 occasions and the son of Frankel appears more than capable of announcing himself as one of their leading hopes for Epsom. Stablemate Proposition merits respect, and Del Maro remains capable of better having belatedly opened his account at Yarmouth last month.

Water To Wine had looked a fascinating rival but the way now looks clear for BENVENUTO CELLINI to make a winning reappearance.

Gower Prince made a pleasing start for his new yard when hitting the woodwork at Market Rasen and could go well, but it may pay to side with NORTHERN AIR. The seven-year-old mare filled the runner-up spot here last month over hurdles and if in similar form, she could capitalise on her unchanged mark. Lightning Flash is the pick of the remainder.

Cobbler's Boy may come good at some stage but GOWER PRINCE has fewest questions and can build on last month's return to form.

It's hard to get away from FAIRLY FULLING, who went in by over three lengths in this grade at Newcastle in March and a 7lb rise might underestimate the level of authority he showed that day. As long as Susan Corbett's charge reproduces that level of form, he will prove very hard to beat. Livano Bello only found one too good at Fakenham last month and needs considering along with Lester Mail.

The choice is LESTER MAIL, who won a bumper here, and shaped as though this trip would suit him well when fourth on handicap debut here.

ALAMINOS may well have made a winning return to action with better luck in the closing stages at Pontefract and a 3lb rise looks to be very fair. The Kevin Ryan stable won this prize 12 months ago and he has plenty in his favour to gain a second career success. Ruby's Angel won a valuable nursery at York's Ebor meeting before appearing to find 7f a step too far at Kempton. She is entitled to bounce back, while Watcha Snoop is another to consider.

There's a particularly strong case to be made for ALAMINOS (nap) who is first choice ahead of Angel Love.

REEL ORANGE showed improvement when sporting first-time cheekpieces to record her first career success over track and trip last month and is only 3lb higher. That was just her third start for the Joe Tizzard yard and there might be more to come. Ghost Dancing didn't give her true running when pulled up at Fakenham in March and could prove a different proposition now. Of the remainder, C&D winner Best Night makes the most appeal.

Most of these have something to prove but REEL ORANGE (nap) won over C&D last month and is a major player again off 3lb higher.

MAILLOT BLANC finished six lengths clear of the third when filling the runner-up spot over 3m at Perth and is just 2lb higher. He remains on a workable mark and looks the one to beat. Vanilla Dancer took the silver medal home over C&D last month and is taken to mount a bold bid again, while Return To Florida is another to watch out for.

This can go to THORNEYLANDS (nap), who was a good second in a bumper and is likely to improve now he's up in trip on his handicap debut.

With that in mind, the son of Frankel can make amends here. In a wide-open contest, marginal preference is for PIETRO. The four-year-old progressed well last season and maintained that momentum when successful on his return at Wolverhampton in March. Only 2lb higher here, James Fanshawe's gelding could take some stopping. A War Eagle has to be respected following an encouraging effort in defeat at Thirsk on Saturday, while Dance In The Storm and Rare Change are others to consider.

WHATDEAWANT was no match for former Welsh National winner Nassalam on his hunter chase bow at Hexham last month. That said, he was well clear of the third Settle Down Jill, who reopposes along with Brandy Mcqueen and Dressedtoimpress, both of whom were pulled up, and the 10-year-old makes plenty of appeal in a bid to go one better. Eagles Rock won on his latest point-to-point start and is interesting.

A smart novice hurdler, WHATDEAWANT has done well pointing and in his sole hunter chase and can beat winning chaser Northern Bound.

ALLROADSLEADTOROME didn't appear to be in love with heavy ground on his racecourse debut at Naas and the son of Golden Horn has the potential to leave that effort behind with a sounder surface likely to suit better. Datstheholyallofit stepped forward from her debut at Sedgefield when showing a bit more there last time, and she could have more to offer. Others to note are Office Banter and Pony Express.

Office Banter could go well on debut but preference is for ALLROADSLEADTOROME, who should improve on his fifth at Naas on debut.

Three-time hurdle winner Jamaicaine can be forgiven for her last-placed chase bow at Fakenham after jumping poorly and she should prove more competitive reverting to timber. The introduction of cheekpieces appeared to work the oracle for last month's Plumpton winner Washington Singer and he isn't easily dismissed either. However, it could be worth taking a punt on dual course winner BRADMAN, who didn't appear to stay 3m when pulling up at Ffos Las 24 days ago and better is expected returning to this venue.

After showing more last time and with this step up in distance a big plus on pedigree, a chance is taken on MISTRESS FOX.

SCEPTIC only found one too good at Nottingham a couple of weeks ago and Ian Williams' gelding makes plenty of appeal off 2lb higher with Toby Moore taking over in the saddle. On recent evidence, Port Noir could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Aim For The Bull and King Of Speed can also go well.

Top of the list is the resurgent SCEPTIC (nap) who went close at Nottingham last month and remains very well treated on his old form.

Having built on a seventh-placed hurdling bow at Wincanton when scoring over the same C&D last month, LA CADALORA looks capable of defying a penalty. Harry Fry's mare scored with something in hand and there should be more to come. Flash Man came good at the third time of asking in this discipline at Plumpton and he's feared most, ahead of Mega Etoile.

In a race that lacks depth the suggestion is FLASH MAN who beat a frustrating but talented rival at Plumpton.

The son of Mehmas was only beaten two lengths when sixth on his return over 7f at Newmarket last month and this further step up in trip may bring about more improvement. Melody De Vega has to be noted after her third over C&D last time, while Blues And Royals and Trio are others to note.

However, the nine-year-old is far from certain to stay today's extra three furlongs and preference is for LAND GIRL'S LUCK. The seven-year-old made an encouraging chase bow when fourth at Exeter 29 days ago and she looks worth another crack at this longer distance. Frankie Faulkner could also feature off a falling mark.

It is very hard to oppose BRILLIANT STAR, who only found one too good on her racecourse debut last year and had 10 lengths in hand when scoring on her return at Yarmouth two weeks ago. With that prospect of more to come, the daughter of Cracksman can defy a penalty here. Eloquencia should only benefit from her first race experience, while any market support for Golden Step would have to be noted.

It would be a shock to see BRILLIANT STAR beaten and she should get the job done under a penalty. Eloquencia can chase her home.

A chance can be taken on ELSHIE, who was far from disgraced on her debut at Nottingham last month. The daughter of Blue Point might come into her own over a bit further in time but this isn't the deepest contest on paper and should the hood applied today be beneficial, it would come as no surprise were she to take a big leap forward. Venetian Gold and Sierra Sue are others to watch out for.

Having shaped with promise on her Doncaster debut, VENETIAN GOLD looks to have been found the right opening. Cixi is next best.

Despite having to shoulder a 5lb penalty for his recent Southwell triumph, RECEIPT remains open to plenty of improvement and is fancied to go in again. There are no fewer than eight previous C&D winners in this line-up, though, and Farasi Lane might be the pick of them. Kit Gabriel and Ribenska could also go close, and don't rule out Silca Bay, who was a little unfortunate over a mile here latest.

Receipt is respected, but this can go to RIBENSKA, who is low mileage and ought to be up to winning off this mark.

MAJOR DINO looks to be the obvious starting place in this bumper finale and he might be able to strike judged on his improved Hereford third last month. Lightsoutandaway is just the pick of the newcomers going to post representing a yard synonymous with having winners at this track, while Uttoxeter third Knight Crossing also commands attention for the Warren Greatrex stable.

There's not a lot of form to go on but MAJOR DINO's third at Hereford just about sets the standard.

TASKHEER has been running well in both handicap and classified stakes company and will surely be winning a race of this nature sooner rather than later. He gets first-time cheekpieces and Hollie Doyle in the plate which all points to a bold showing. This won't take much winning and he can prove too strong for Yehudi, Orbital Chime and Withoutfurtherado.

Future Cutlet is worth a look but DIVINE WISH has shown enough to suggest she can be competitive at this level.

MAN ON A MISSION has a 4lb penalty to contend with for last week's Southwell success and the previous C&D winner is in good enough form at the moment to think he's well up to the task. Elvetham is another track-and-trip winner to bear in mind here and he too shoulders a penalty for a recent win. Rye also commands respect.

Preference is for ELVETHAM who made it 2-4 in 6f handicaps when scoring at Lingfield last week and was as good as ever with that win.
