LTO Selection:

13:30 Windsor Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Silent Flame went in by just under a length at this track over 5f earlier in the month and she has to warrant plenty of respect off a 4lb higher mark, but this is a step up in grade, which makes CUBAN BREEZE the choice. The daughter of Bated Breath wasn't entirely disgraced over C&D last time and she could take a step forward to strike, especially being 4lb lower than her last winning mark. Regal Envoy showed positive signs for his new trainer on his latest outing and is worth a second look.

REGAL ENVOY has dropped to a handy mark and made a pleasing debut for his new yard at Newmarket recently. He gets the nod in an open-looking contest. Silent Flame and Vape head the list of dangers.

Rod Millman's SILENT FLAME would appear to have even more in her favour this afternoon than when winning here two weeks ago.

Beat Jack The Farmer narrowly at Warwick on handicap debut; probably more to offer.
LTO Selection:

13:35 Huntingdon Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CATUABA had Jack The Farmer (second) half a length behind when scoring at Warwick earlier in the month and that was his first start in a handicap, so he could have much more to come off 5lb higher. The son of Jet Away appears to have lots in his favour once more and he looks the one to side with. Whenitrainsitpours failed to justify favouritism last time at Ludlow, but he is 2lb lower now and it would be no surprise to see him bounce back.

Preference is for CATUABA, who is still low mileage and upped his game when making a successful handicap bow at Warwick earlier this month. Jack The Farmer rates the principal danger.

Back hurdling on ground that will suit, TEL'ART makes most appeal in a tight race.

Sole win (18 races) on AW in December; right out of form returned to turf lately.
LTO Selection:

13:45 Redcar Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Several hold good chances including Danzart, who undoubtedly has sound claims given his resurgent form, but running off a 9lb higher mark than for his Thirsk success obviously makes life tougher. Jems Bond is also highly respected on his peak all-weather performances but his record of 0-10 on turf is a concern. Therefore, preference is for VARIETY ISLAND, who has gone well here in the past and, from 3lb below his last winning mark (all-weather), he could be primed to strike with his match-fitness assured.

VARIETY ISLAND has the headgear back on after an eye-catching run at Wetherby and could have plenty in his favour here if getting the breaks. Dandys Derriere and Red Command are among the dangers.

Danzart won in eyecatching style nine days ago over 6f but the vote goes to VARIETY ISLAND who has his cheekpieces restored.

LTO Selection:

14:00 Windsor Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DENRUTH DIAMOND was an eye-catcher last month over 5f at this track on debut, as she was very green and stayed on well to finish third. The daughter of City Light is likely to have learned a lot from that experience and, with normal improvement to come, she could be the one to beat. Say Hello is another who showed huge promise on her first start and is likely to take a step forward, while any market support for Count Palatine should be noted.

While several of the newcomers are appealing on paper, ETHANDUN, Say Hello and Denruth Diamond all shaped with considerable promise on their respective debuts and they could be the trio to concentrate on. The last-named was third to a potentially smart filly on her introduction here and is not passed over lightly but Ethandun and Say Hello are preferred, with the former taken to emerge on top on the back of a highly promising effort at Goodwood. Response Force could be the pick of the newcomers.

The three with experience all made nice debuts. SAY HELLO is marginally preferred with today's extra furlong sure to benefit.

LTO Selection:

14:05 Huntingdon Handicap Chase (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ALGHAZAAL did it nicely at Ludlow in this grade when scoring by eight lengths last time and he has been put up 9lb for that display. Charlie Longsdon's six-year-old only makes his third chase start and with the likelihood of more to come in this sphere, he could be the one to beat. Another to consider is Boreen Boy, who makes his chase debut and that could unlock improvement with Adrian Heskin booked, while Chess Player is also worthy of consideration.

ALGHAZAAL upped his game to score at Ludlow recently and a performance of similar merit should be enough to go in again in a race where most have questions to answer. Chess Player looks the main danger and Honneur de Sivola should do better for a switch to chasing.

A revelation when winning at Ludlow, ALGHAZAAL can defy the 9lb rise.

14:15 Redcar Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ROOSKA posted an encouraging effort at Musselburgh on debut 24 days ago and may do even better now, given he overcame a slow start to deliver a sustained effort and make the frame. Stepping up in trip could bring more out of him and he is a must for consideration. Dalton Lane also appeals now switched to turf after a near-miss at Newcastle first time out in February, while Happier also looks progressive and is feared most of the rest, despite firmer ground being a concern.

ROOSKA made a promising start at Musselburgh having been well backed and gets the vote with the promise of more to come. Dalton Lane similarly started out well in February and can progress, as can Happier. Dusty Rug is an interesting newcomer.

Happier sets the standard but it may well not be insurmountable if DALTON LANE and Rooska can improve upon their debut efforts.

14:20 Cartmel Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

COME ON DU BERLAIS, who won a bumper at Ayr last May, ran three good races in defeat over hurdles for Gordon Elliott during her time in Ireland and, given this looks a little easier than some of those events, she rates a prime candidate to come out on top today. She debuts for an in-form yard and, with the trip and ground to suit, another bold showing is expected. Titanium Moon and recent Stratford winner Forever A Dove appeal most from the rest.

Fergal O'Brien has made a flying start to the new season and can notch another win courtesy of new recruit COME ON DU BERLAIS. Titanium Moon showed an aptitude for hurdling when second at Hexham recently and is second choice ahead of Peter Bowen bumper winner River of Joy.

The suggestion is TITANIUM MOON, who seemed to take pretty well to hurdling when second at Hexham recently.

14:30 Leicester Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Bobby Kennedy was only denied by a length at Bath over an extended 1m3f and a 3lb rise for that effort is likely to keep him in contention. However, a chance can be taken on MARBUZET, who wasn't disgraced when beaten in sixth at Ayr last time over 1m5f and was dropped 2lb for that display. The four-year-old is feasibly treated as he is now only 2lb higher than his last winning mark. Foursome appears best of the remainder.

The booking of Alec Voikhansky appeals as a plus for CIAO ADIOS, who can take another step forward from a good recent effort at Windsor. Marbuzet is on a fair mark and should be closer to peak fitness on his third start of the year, with C&D winner Blazer Two also worth a market check on return.

Preference is for BOBBY KENNEDY, who returned from a break with a close second behind a well-backed rival at Bath last month.

14:35 Windsor Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

NINE TENTHS was a comfortable victor on her second career start at Newcastle in November by just under two lengths. With the likelihood of much more to come, she is the one to side with for the William Haggas yard. The main threat might be Pastiche, who also recorded her first success on the all-weather at Southwell and if able to cope with the step back in distance, she could get involved. Crow's Nest should be monitored in the market.

NINE TENTHS and Pastiche signed off their 2-y-o campaign in perfect style and look the pair to focus on, with marginal preference for the Haggas runner. Extinction started his career very late but showed enough at Chelmsford to make him of some interest.

Nine Tenths (second choice) is the one with potential but FIERCE was perhaps unlucky not to win his handicap last time.

14:40 Huntingdon Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Iolaos Du Mou is likely to be fancied for his powerful connections, but he will need to put his latest pulled-up effort at Kempton well behind him to figure. Preference is for ABSOLUTE RULER, who was beaten just over three lengths behind Carrarea (now rated 122) and that form sets a very decent standard for others to aim at in this contest. Definite is another to note, as he took a step forward to run into a place at Plumpton on his latest outing.

A thin maiden hurdle and a good opportunity for IOLAOS DU MOU to strike after his luckless run at Kempton. The superbly-bred Absolute Ruler has races in him over jumps if kicking on from his Market Rasen effort and is the danger.

Assuming he's none the worse for his Kempton mishap, IOLAOS DU MOU looks the likeliest winner.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HALA EMARAATY did things in a professional manner when making a winning debut at Ripon 17 days ago and seems capable of coping with the 3lb penalty at this stage of his development. The form looks reasonably strong and staying at this sort of level appears to be a good move for the time being. Jungle Mac looks the part on paper and, along with Seven Questions, is a newcomer to note in the betting. Taygar is the pick of the rest with previous experience.

HALA EMARAATY made appeal on paper and overcame inexperience when making a winning debut at Ripon earlier in the month, so he is taken to follow up for a yard enjoying plenty of success with it's 2-y-o runners this season. Taygar is worth another chance to build on her debut success and is feared most, with Our Havana the pick of the newcomers.

The betting will sort out the pecking order among the newcomers but HALA EMARAATY is open to improvement after his winning debut.

14:55 Cartmel Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Having proven his stamina and effectiveness on ground similar to what is forecast today, SCRUM DIDDLY is a key player in his bid for a quick-fire hat-trick. The Oliver Sherwood-trained gelding got off the mark over hurdles in good style when upped to 3m at Ludlow 15 days ago, before following up in a bloodless manner at Ffos Las last week. The fitting of cheekpieces (retained) has aided his cause and more success could be imminent. Mr Yeats and I Spy A Diva look the pick of the opposition.

Gary Hanmer has won 3 of the last 4 runnings of this so the suggestion is HILLVIEW who returned from a break with a good second at Uttoxeter recently. Aramax has found his feet for the Ben Haslam yard this spring and is second choice ahead of the hat-trick seeking Scrum Diddly and Stuart Crawford's Langdale Lane.

Scrum Diddly won in a canter at Ffos Las a week ago and is now 2-2 in handicaps but LANGDALE LANE also has plenty going for him.

15:05 Leicester Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Tamaluk failed to fire on her handicap bow at Wolverhampton last time over 7f, but she could be worth a second chance with the application of first-time cheekpieces and the step back up to a mile. However, FOREVER PROUD just shades the vote for the James Horton yard, as she shaped nicely on her return to action last time at Newcastle when beaten two and a half lengths into third. The daughter of Sioux Nation now stakes her claim to a handicap for the first time on a potentially lenient mark. Sonemos has to be of interest with William Buick booked.

CREME CHANTILLY shaped with plenty of encouragement on her return at Nottingham and it would be a surprise if Michael Bell's filly did not prove to be ahead of her mark. Sonemos showed much improved form on her handicap debut last time, whilst recent Bath winner Little Helen and hat-trick seeking Bernadine also merit plenty of respect.

It might be worth sticking with hat-trick seeker BERNADINE, who is a big player again if she can transfer her progress back to turf.

15:10 Windsor Handicap (Class 3) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

NAVELLO bounced back to form with a fine win at Thirsk last time out and a 4lb rise should not inconvenience as he looks to follow up in this small field. The four-year-old has operated off higher marks in the past and he should have too much for the capable King Of Bavaria and Whenthedealinsdone, who is probably better suited to bigger fields.

C&D winner WHENTHEDEALINSDONE is well treated and could be marked up having met trouble at York last time, so he's marginally preferred to recent Thirsk winner Navello in a race that the pair will probably dominate.

Hard to rule out any of the four. NIGHT ON EARTH can only approve of getting back on fast ground and he edges preference.

LTO Selection:

15:15 Huntingdon Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Although still a maiden, LOUGH CARRA has snippets of solid form that suggest he can provide a bit of value in what it likely to be a tactical race. He has dropped to a workable mark and, assuming he takes to racing with a cheekpieces and tongue-tie combination applied for the first time, he looks worth chancing. Much depends on whether Hardy Boy is turned out again quickly after his second at Ffos Las on Saturday, but Toughasoldboots would rate the main danger in his absence.

LOUGH CARRA wasn't seen to best effect on his chase debut here last week and the big gelding is the type to do better in this sphere. He gets the vote over Petrastar. Hardy Boy faces a quick turnaround from Saturday's effort at Ffos Las and needs to jump better.

Despite a modest run over hurdles recently, TOUGHASOLDBOOTS still appeals most.

15:25 Redcar Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A chance can be taken on STORM FOX, who weakened late on over 6f in soft ground at Doncaster and she now steps back down to the minimum distance off a 2lb lower mark for the Tim Easterby yard. The daughter of Bungle Inthejungle could take a step forward to shed her maiden tag. Grandad Bob filled the runner-up spot at Catterick in this grade last time and could have a say off the same rating, while Cavalier Approach could be thereabouts again after he went very close last time.

GRANDAD BOB returned with a solid showing when second at Catterick 47 days ago and he's the type to do better with few miles on the clock, so he's preferred to Cavalier Approach, with Castan expected to bounce back from a low-key reappearance on testing ground at Nottingham.

Cavalier Approach has solid claims but JUNGLE FEVER can take advantage of a drop in the weights on his return to 5f.

15:30 Cartmel Handicap Chase (Class 3) 29f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

DUC DE BEAUCHENE is on a roll after following up last month's Wincanton success with a commanding performance to get up late and win the Norfolk National at Fakenham 20 days ago. A 4lb higher mark looks lenient in the context of this race and David Pipe's long-distance traveller looks the one to be on here. Stylish Moment is another last-time-out winner who is respected, even though he needs another personal best off 7lb higher. Chirico Vallis and Dee Star complete the shortlist.

CHIRICO VALLIS soon returned to form with a fine run at Newbury in March and can cash in a good mark back up in trip. The thriving Duc de Beauchene is the obvious threat, while Dee Star is expected to step up a gear now returned to Cartmel.

Being at the top of his form at present DUC DE BEAUCHENE is the one to beat although course specialist Dee Star looks a big threat.

LTO Selection:

15:40 Leicester Stakes (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Double Oban sets the standard with a rating of 75 for others to aim at. Hugo Palmer's gelding is likely to remain competitive against this level of opposition, but he could come out second best to CRESTA CAT. The son of Bobby's Kitten took a step forward to stay on into third last time at Chelmsford over 1m2f, and he could unlock further improvement from this step up in distance to strike. Swift Hawk showed promise on debut at Newbury when beaten into a respectable fifth and is entitled to progress.

Cases can be made for all 5 in a really trappy contest, but SWIFT HAWK is related to some smart types despite his very cheap yearling price and started his career in positive fashion at Newbury. He can take another step forward to score here, with Intergalacticat and Cresta Cat perhaps the biggest threats amongst the remaining quartet.

It's hard to rule out any of these in this tight contest but CRESTA CAT gets the vote ahead of Intergalacticat.

15:45 Windsor Handicap (Class 3) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

PEACE MAN got off the mark in determined fashion over C&D last time out and a mark of 86 could underestimate him on his handicap debut. Better ground can aid his cause as well and he gets the vote ahead of multiple course winner Andaleep and Spinaround, who has been inconsistent since joining new connections but is undoubtedly capable on his day.

MELEK ALREEH failed to build on his reappearance effort when tried on tapeta for the first time at Newcastle in March but he's been eased 3 lb since and is of strong interest returned to turf with conditions in his favour. Indeed, his Doncaster success last summer was gained on fast ground and the booking of Tom Marquand adds to his appeal. Andaleep put in a good shift when third on return at Newbury and is feared most ahead of handicap-debutant Peace Man and Silver Gunn.

It's surely significant that PEACE MAN (nap) has been given so much time by the Gosdens and he can build on his recent C&D success.

LTO Selection:

15:50 Huntingdon Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

KINGFAST is hard to oppose as he bids for a third consecutive success and, given he still has scope to progress further in this discipline, a 9lb higher mark might not be enough to prevent him extending his winning sequence. Jack Hogan, who claims 5lb, being back in the saddle helps on that score. Alkhattaaf has a similar profile and rates a big threat given he showed improvement when second in a maiden hurdle at Wincanton last month, before scoring on the Flat at Wolverhampton. For Three and Ambassador are also worth a second look.

BLUEBELLA was much improved with a tongue strap fitted at Worcester on Friday and is selected to make light of a 7 lb penalty turned out again quickly. Alkhattaaf has won on AW Flat since his improved second at Wincanton and is second choice ahead of the hat-trick seeking Kingfast.

Many of these could run well but KINGFAST (nap) can complete the hat-trick.

LTO Selection:

16:00 Redcar Handicap (Class 2) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

City Streak struck by a neck at the Chester May Festival earlier in the month and has only been raised 2lb in the weights, which is highly likely to give him a leading chance once more. However, he could play second fiddle to TURNTABLE, who was unruly at the start last time when contesting a strong contest at Newmarket and if able to recapture the form of his double on the Rowley Mile at the end of last year, he could prove tough to beat. Oviedo is another to watch as he makes his handicap bow.

There's a possibility soft ground wasn't to TURNTABLE's benefit on his reappearance and he's worth another chance to show what he can do for the Harry Eustace yard. Sole 3-y-o Oviedo is an interesting contender now stepping up to 1¼m for the first time. Chester-winner City Streak and the returning Kitsune Power are others to consider.

City Streak cannot be passed over at all lightly but PILLAR OF HOPE may prove a bit better handicapped. Oviedo is unexposed.

AND THE NEW made all to bolt up by 18 lengths over 2m3f at Market Rasen in a class 4 event earlier in the month and he now carries 7lb extra, which is highly unlikely to stop him on that evidence and the veteran can cope with the step back in distance to make it a double. The main threat might be Whodini, who was also an impressive victor last time by seven lengths at Ayr and he is likely to be on the premises again, despite a 6lb rise. Return Ticket makes the most appeal of the remainder.

AND THE NEW got back on the scoreboard when a wide-margin winner at Market Rasen last week and remains well treated on old form. He can follow up. Whodini is progressive and may provide the chief threat.

Recent winner And The New remains well treated but LERMOOS LEGEND runs this track very well and has slipped to a very good mark.

16:15 Leicester Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Now that the penny has dropped for MAHANAKHON after a taking success at Wetherby, there could be plenty more to come from the four-year-old on his handicap debut. Not beaten far on her last two starts in stronger company, Sly Madam is a key player, along with Francesi, who has been very consistent on the all-weather. Cabinet Of Clowns and Double Time are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

MAHANAKHON shouldn't be ovefaced by an opening mark of 78 and Tim Easterby's gelding can follow up from his recent Wetherby success. Roach Power represents the same connections and is lurking on a potentially lenient mark, whilst Francesi is also capable of getting in the mix if translating his form on artificial surfaces to turf,

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DAMASCUS STEEL gets the vote having most likely run into a few well-handicapped rivals the last twice. Ed Dunlop's grey has performed well in defeat on all three starts this year and appears to have room for manoeuvre off his current mark. Handicap debutant Cosmic View could emerge as the chief danger, though Lady Of Arabia is entitled to improve for her recent return around here.

Ed Dunlop appears to hold a very strong hand here, with Friday's easy Haydock winner DOG FOX taken to make light of a 6 lb penalty, most likely at the expense of stablemate Damascus Steel.

This is trappy but perhaps CIARA STORM can find the necessary improvement over a new trip that she's bred for.

16:25 Huntingdon Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Miss Antipova gave a bold account when runner-up at Southwell a fortnight ago and the 11-year-old may prove dangerous once again if getting into a rhythm on the front end. Heneryetta Bay has placed on both starts over fences and could be open to improvement, but EIGHTYTWO TEAM shades the vote. She was making a solid return to action after a break at Uttoxeter when jinking left at a running rail due to bypassing obstacles and is entitled to progress from that display.

HENERYETTA BAY doesn't look totally straightforward but she's displayed improved form since switched to fences and won't get many better opportunities than this. Miss Antipova has found only one too good the last twice and may fill that spot again.

11yo maiden MISS ANTIPOVA comes here after two good efforts and is taken to dominate from the front.

16:30 Ballinrobe Conditions Hurdle 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

FILS D'OUDAIRIES fell over fences at Killarney but is a dependable 145-rated hurdler who is holding form. Beaten by storied UK handicapper Langer Dan in a valuable Ascot hurdle in 2022, he was beaten 3.3 lengths by Cash Back at Cork last month but is now 7lb better off and indeed subsequently reversed that form at Punchestown in April. Cash Back disappointed in that Punchestown race and has obvious claims on best form, but is an 11 year old. Off You Go's last win was in the 2021 Leopardstown Chase and while capable and suited by good ground, is long absent and would prefer further. Enfranchise was rated 91 on the flat in the UK and while she showed promise when well held in two recent Listed hurdles, has plenty on her plate again today. Fighter Allen is on a confidence-seeking mission on reappearance run over an inadequate distance.

A trappy event that could go to FILS D'OUDAIRIES if he's none the worse after a crashing fall over fences at Killarney. Cash Back is feared most.

Confirmed front-runner CASH BACK could get his own way in the lead in this and be difficult to catch.

16:36 Redcar Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DUKEMAN looks a fascinating contender on his handicap bow for the Simon & Ed Crisford yard, as he produced very good efforts in novice company on all of his three starts last year, and he could prove very tough to beat off a possible lenient opening mark. Wootton'sun filled the runner-up spot last time at Pontefract and he will appreciate the drop in grade off a 2lb higher rating. Another to note is Eeetee.

DUKEMAN is well bred and showed plenty last season, so he's capable of defying an opening mark of 82 on seasonal/handicap debut. Wootton'sun looks a danger on the back of a solid showing at Pontefract and C&D winner Strawman should bounce back from an excusable run at York.

The pick is DUKEMAN (nap) who surely brings significant potential to this handicap debut. Last year's winner Strawman is next best.

16:40 Cartmel Handicap Chase (Class 3) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MARSHALLED has improved with every appearance since joining the Ben Haslam team and got back on the scoresheet at Newcastle recently. He showed good determination to go in then and is taken to defy a 6lb rise. De Barley Basket will be fresh from a break and has a good strike-rate over fences. He has to be considered a big threat, with Gaelik Coast possibly the pick of the remainder.

DE BARLEY BASKET has an excellent record over fences and ran well when last seen 6 months ago so he looks the one to beat despite the presence of a couple of well- handicapped rivals in Fire Away and Tonto's Spirit, who should both benefit from a return to this track. Marshalled is another one to consider.

Preference is for recent Newcastle winner MARSHALLED (nap) who is in career-best form for his new yard. Fire Away is next best.

16:48 Leicester Handicap (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Runner-up on each of his three starts this season, STRIKING STAR deserves a change in luck and he can get it on this occasion, with the drop in trip a major plus. Brooklyn Nine Nine hasn't been outside the first two in four career starts and he looks to be the main danger, as well as The Big Board. Cruise and Grenham Bay are likely to be thereabouts as well.

BROOKLYN NINE NINE still looked inexperienced when runner-up on his handicap debut at Ripon a month ago, but he got the hang of things late and can build on that effort (with cheekpieces on first-time) to resume winning ways. Striking Star has finished second on all 3 starts this year and can be thereabouts once more, with Grenham Bay also respected in his hat-trick bid.

Her stablemate Adwan has to be of interest, as he makes his handicap bow after showing plenty of promise in all three of his starts to date, while Mr Boson also enters calculations if transferring his recent form to the turf.

SENESI is going the right way and is fancied to follow up her recent Redcar success in the finale here. Mr Boson and Oriental Dancer are also open to further improvement and head the list of dangers.

An open race. ORIENTAL DANCER has been competitive in both her handicaps and she's ready for this step to 1m.

LTO Selection:

16:55 Huntingdon Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HIGHLAND FROLIC wasn't disgraced on his return to handicap company when third at Ludlow earlier in the month and the manner in which he finished his race off suggested a step up in trip would pose no concerns. Red Force One took a step in the right direction with cheekpieces reapplied here on Tuesday and he can enter calculations, along with Awesome Foursome, who didn't appear to get home over further at Uttoxeter last time.

If in the same form as when hitting the crossbar here last week, RED FORCE ONE will prove a tough nut to crack with conditions again in his favour. Sinndarella is marginally preferred to Highland Frolic for forecast purposes.

Highland Frolic is respected but preference is for RED FORCE ONE, who makes a quick return after his good second here last Tuesday.

LTO Selection:

17:00 Ballinrobe Maiden Hurdle 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

AN MHI runs in a first-time tongue-tie on reappearance but drops markedly in grade, having bumped into high-class rivals last season. Beaten by Facile Vega in December, he ran well behind Gaelic Warrior in a valuable handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival and a reproduction could prove good enough. Dual bumper winner Misty's Gift is race-fit and ran well in a first-time tongue-tie at Tipperary but cheekpieces are now applied and has 15lb to find with the selection on adjusted ratings. Workforadime has bits of form and having caught the eye when meeting traffic at Kilbeggan recently, could sneak a placing. Johnny Cigar has ability and while he travelled well for much of the way at Tipperary recently, ultimately pulled up and now runs in a first-time tongue-tie.

AN MHI wasn't disgraced off a stiff-looking mark in a hot handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival and can open his account with his sights lowered again here. Misty's Gift and Workforadime are feared.

Very few of these look up to winning a maiden. AN MHI ran respectably in Gaelic Warrior's handicap at the Dublin Racing Festival.

All three of his wins have come on the AW; showed some ability on turf last spring.
LTO Selection:

17:10 Redcar Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BEARWITH bounced back to form with a strong win at Newcastle last time out and this previous course winner is taken to follow up off an 11lb lower mark on turf. Harriet Bethell's charge is preferred to Cusack, who was fifth in the aforementioned contest and cannot be underestimated. Thomas Cranmer and Ice Shadow are others likely to enter the reckoning.

BEARWITH is better on the AW than turf but he has won on grass in the past and is well weighted. Just Hiss and The New Marwan needed their reappearance and better is expected this time.

Bearwith should have a major role to play. Slight preference, though, is for MOTARAJEL judged on his 2022 turf efforts.

17:15 Cartmel Hunter Chase (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SO BE IT seemed to throw away his race when idling badly on the run in and getting touched off by a short head at Perth last time out, and he is taken to gain compensation on this occasion. The seven-year-old can get off the mark at the 10th time of asking, with Walkin Out looking best placed to chase him home, along with point-to-point winner The Creadan Rogue.

SO BE IT came agonisingly close to landing a gamble at Perth 12 days ago, idling having looked in control and collared on the post. That was a much-improved display and a repeat of that level should be enough. Walkin Out's record in points is a good one and she's feared most.

Two promising pointers make most appeal with WALKIN OUT preferred to The Creadan Rogue.

LTO Selection:

17:25 Leicester Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

MISS CYNTHIA is likely to prove very popular on her handicap debut, having shown promise when third at Southwell on her penultimate start, and she is taken to continue Sir Mark Prescott's fine run of form, albeit with limited runners. Rock N Roll Pinkie has her stamina assured following her win at Wetherby over further last month, while Majestic Jameela is of interest on her first start for Stuart Edmunds.

ROADWAY had been steadily going the right way prior to seeming unsuited by testing conditions on her handicap debut at Nottingham last time, so she is worth forgiving her latest run as she goes further up in trip. John & Thady Gosden's filly can get the better of last-time-out winner Rock N Roll Pinkie, while Dreams Adozen is feared most of the handicap debutantes.

17:30 Ballinrobe Handicap Hurdle 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TROUBLED TIMES was a Listed bumper winner and can continue to make use of a favourable handicap rating. She is 9lb higher than when winning at at Cork recently but could be suited by today's extra distance and likes a sound surface. Lady Rita did well in the circumstances to finish 21 lengths fourth at Kilbeggan, where her rider misjudged the number of circuits. She also blundered badly at the third-last but still managed to beat today's rivals The Little Yank and Run For Pat. Prince Zaltar competes from a career high mark having won at Killarney but is thoroughly progressive and likes good ground. Merlin Giant is trip-versatile but concedes plenty weight while Ambitious Fellow should improve significantly from seasonal reappearance and likes good ground and this distance. Dollar Value was unsuited by soft on recent flat runs but is capable over hurdles on good ground. Power Of Pause needs to return to form while veteran Gold Speed has been running well and steps up in distance. Fruit Blossom steps up in grade following her Wexford win.

TROUBLED TIMES is a mare on the up and from a very fair-looking mark with the promise of more to come, she is the most persuasive option. Lady Rita ran well under the circumstances at Kilbeggan last time and needs treating as though still in top form, with Fruit Blossom completing the shortlist.

The suggestion is GOLD SPEED, who is worth a try over this far and especially under master tactician Denis O'Regan.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

OUR DICKIE bounced back to winning ways with a stylish success at Hamilton last time out and the step up in trip could eke out further improvement on this occasion. Similar comments apply to Streetscape, who has run with plenty of credit on both starts this season, while Iron Sheriff has strong claims on his penultimate win at Newcastle, where he scored off a 7lb lower mark.

IRON SHERIFF was unlucky not to finish closer at Wetherby a fortnight ago, and with this step back up in trip sure to suit, he looks the answer. This stiffer test of stamina will suit Streetscape and he's a threat, along with Bollin Margaret.

His last two runs point to a big chance for IRON SHERIFF, particularly now that he is back over 1m2f. Plenty hold realistic e-w claims.

17:45 Cartmel Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A promising runner-up on his handicap debut at Ffos Las, KARAVOMYLOS must hold every chance if building upon that effort for his in-form connections. The drop in trip is another plus as he looks to see off the likes of Benito and Colonel Manderson, who looked as though he was going to finish second when unseating his rider at the last at Perth.

BENITO, who was successful over this C&D last summer, looks the way to go having shaped as though his turn was again near when runner-up over an inadequate trip at Sedgefield. Karavomylos looks a big threat following an improved display on his recent handicap debut, while it's possible that Bells Express will also raise his game now making the switch to handicap company.

Stable-companions IOLANI and Wearelongterm have good claims and are preferred in that order.

17:55 Leicester Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Angel Of Peace produced her best effort to date when third on her handicap bow at Redcar earlier this month and is likely to have further improvement to come. That said, the step up a couple of furlongs is an unknown, so the vote goes to MOON OVER THE SEA. He may have been inconvenienced by a quick turnaround at Yarmouth when last seen and the four-year-old is better judged on his Bath success the time before. Damascus Finish and Seraphia, who sports a visor for the first time, are others to consider.

Despite still having something to learn, ANGEL OF PEACE improved again when third on her handicap debut at Redcar earlier this month as she pulled clear of the rest of the field. With stamina in her pedigree, the 3-y-o is taken to open her account as she goes up in trip. Damascus Finish could be the main danger, ahead of Angel de Luz.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This is a strong beginners chase for the time of year and BALLYADAM gets the vote. The Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding, arguably the pick of these over hurdles, was bought for big money by Cheveley Park after winning his point-to-point in good style. He won the Grade 1 Royal Bond Novice Hurdle back in 2020 and while failing to score since, has performed with credit in valuable handicaps of a mark in the high 140s. Hercule Du Seuil had Hamundarson well behind when runner-up to Senecia on his chasing debut over C&D earlier this month. Willie Mullins has another contender in Winter Fog, a facile winner of a handicap hurdle at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting. Galore Desassences was also decent over hurdles but didn't jump well when switched to fences at Wexford last time.

BALLYADAM is on a lengthy losing run but he's a smart sort and is fancied to leave his previous form over the larger obstacles behind. Hercule du Seuil is sure to have derived plenty from his opening chase effort, with stablemate Winter Fog another to consider.

Hercule Du Seuil will be well fancied but BALLYADAM can take his measure on his third chasing start.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

HISTORY OF FASHION won in good style at Down Royal early last year and has returned to form after dropping back down to a similar mark this spring. He beat all bar Espanito Bello in the Leinster National at Naas and again put in his best work at the finish when third to Aione over 3m1f at the Punchestown Festival. Life In The Park caught the eye on his reappearance when third to Thedevilscoachman in a Grade 3 novice at Limerick and again made the frame in a valuable handicap at the Punchestown Festival with Tullybeg back in fifth. Ilikedwayurthinkin and Peregrine Run filled the minor places in this race 12 months ago and should play a prominent role again.

LIFE IN THE PARK shaped well when third in a competitive novice handicap at the Punchestown Festival and is taken to build on that and prove too strong for these largely more exposed rivals. History of Fashion and Snugsborough Benny are others who arrive on the back of good runs at Punchestown and head the dangers along with the returning Peregrine Run, who was in excellent form when last seen in the autumn.

Gavin Cromwell's ILIKEDWAYURTHINKIN (nap) did well to finish second in this last year after an early mistake had him on the back foot.

19:00 Ballinrobe Handicap Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CHARLIE STOUT has been generally consistent this year and gained a sixth career win on his penultimate start in a similar event at Wexford with Cusp Of Carabelli back in fourth. His second to Stumptown at Thurles is also a decent piece of form in the context of this race and he remains on a competitive mark with Kieran Callaghan claiming 7lb. The Echo Boy appreciated the drop back to this trip when scoring at Kilbeggan earlier this month but now races off a career high mark. Pakens Rock, a four-time winner at Galway, was off the track for nearly two years before returning last winter and gave some encouragement last time when keeping on into third behind Say It Ain't So at this venue.

THE ECHO BOY had a bit to spare over a next-time-out hurdle winner at Kilbeggan last time and an 8 lb rise may not prevent him following up. Charlie Stout backed up his Wexford win in March when fourth at Fairyhouse over Easter and is second choice ahead of Pakens Rock.

Though hit with an 8lb rise for his Kilbeggan win, THE ECHO BOY has the assistance of a fine 5lb claimer today and can score.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MYSTICAL POWER represents the champion trainer and really catches the eye on pedigree. The son of Galileo, who is owned in partnership by JP McManus, Sue Magnier and Susannah Ricci, is the first foal out of the great Annie Power who was unbeaten in three bumper starts and enjoyed her finest hour in the 2016 Champion Hurdle. It will be interesting to see how strong he is in the market while Faux Fur, Fort Randall and Garnacho are other newcomers to consider. The latter cost 46,000 at Tattersalls Ireland last summer. Perfect Nelson had Paddy Elvis and Royal Noble behind when runner-up to Ossie's Lodge at Down Royal earlier this month and Rob James claims a valuable 7lb.

MYSTICAL POWER is out of the fantastic mare Annie Power and represents the same stable, so he's more than likely to make a successful start in a very winnable affair. Faux Fur is another notable newcomer for a top yard and Perfect Nelson is the best of those with form.

All eyes on MYSTICAL POWER, a son of Galileo and the first foal out of Champion Hurdle heroine Annie Power. That's some pedigree.
