There were 34 Races on Wednesday 19th June 2024 across 5 meetings. There was 7 races at Hamilton, 7 races at Worcester, 7 races at Royal Ascot, 7 races at Nottingham, 6 races at Ripon, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

CRYSTAL GUARD is the only contender to have won over this distance in the field and although only successful by a head last time out at Ayr, he was always doing enough to hold off his challengers. Upped 1lb by the handicapper, the six-year-old can go well under Mohammed Tabti, who is a very promising apprentice. Twoforthegutter has to shoulder top-weight after rallying to win over a furlong shorter here and is an obvious danger, while Reams Of Love would be favourably handicapped if he can bounce back to his best.

TWOFORTHEGUTTER certainly wasn't winning out of turn here a fortnight ago but up 3 lb in another handicap lacking strength in depth, the follow up may well be forthcoming, Crystal Guard also got it right last time and is the obvious threat.

In a race that makes little appeal THE NAVIGATOR, who shaped better here last time, is taken to win his first Flat race since May 2022.
Class & Speed Card

TONTO FOLEY struck by just under four lengths in this grade at Hereford last month and he is only 7lb higher for that success. Christian Williams' six-year-old may only need to reproduce that level of form in order to complete the hat-trick, with his main danger possibly being Finalshot, who finished third in a class 4 event at Huntingdon in October last year and could have a say on his return. Tropical Talent is another to note.

TONTO FOLEY is improving in leaps and bounds as a chaser and can complete the hat-trick. Floating Rock made much more of an impact off his reduced mark at Stratford and is capable of making his presence felt again back in this sphere, while Tropical Talent had excuses last time and remains unexposed over fences.

Progressive 6yo TONTO FOLEY (nap) quickened well to fend off a strong challenge at Hereford last month and is now 2-3 over fences.
Class & Speed Card

A small field may play into the hands of the experienced GEORGECANDOIT, who has finished second on all three starts to date and drops in class after trying to make all at Carlisle. He may be able to dominate from the off here, though newcomer Jungle Drums is an interesting alternative as a son of Bungle Inthejungle and representing the Karl Burke team. Gobsmacked is another to consider if returning to the form of his debut third here after a disappointing effort at Leicester.

JUNGLE DRUMS is certainly bred to be a sharp sort and representing an excellent yard with a superb record with 2-y-os, he's fancied to see off the standard-setting colt Georgecandoit and make a winning debut.

Karl Burke's Bungle Inthejungle newcomer JUNGLE DRUMS offers plenty of potential so he is taken to go in at the first time of asking.
Class & Speed Card

In a wide-open affair where a case can be made for many, the tentative vote goes to TRULY ENCHANTING. It was a testament to her ability that she was able to get off the mark after looking green on her debut at Tipperary last month and, with the promise of more to come on forecast better ground, a bold bid is anticipated for the in-form Aidan O'Brien team. American raider Ultima Grace impressed with the way she went about her business when scoring first time out over an extended 4f at Keeneland in April, setting brisk fractions before asserting close home, and she is respected for a trainer who has tasted success in this race four times. Impressive debut winners Make Haste and Spherical are a couple of others who merit consideration in what is sure to be an informative contest.

Plenty of potential as expected for a 2-y-o event at Royal Ascot but the 2 who have created the deepest impression are MAKE HASTE and Truly Enchanting. The former could be called the winner a long way out at Naas so is narrowly preferred to Truly Enchanting, who looked potentially smart when powering away at Tipperary. Wesley Ward has won this 4 times since 2009 and he's represented this time by Ultima Grace, who was impressive at Keeneland and has the potential to rate much higher.

After a most taking C&D success, MISS RASCAL may provide the Cole yard with another Queen Mary 28 years after their first.

BOB BOB RICARD struck on his chase/handicap debut at Ffos Las on his latest outing and a 5lb rise could prove to be on the lenient side. The son of Bathyrhon remains in the same grade and should have no issues with going up in trip, so he can record a double. Le Cameleon was beaten into third at Bangor last time but could get closer off a 2lb lower mark and with Gavin Sheehan booked, while Chess Player rates best of the rest.

BOB BOB RICARD is built for chasing and he elevated his form at the first try over fences when successful at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago. With the promise of more to come, he's the one to be with, for all You Say Nothing lurks on a very dangerous mark at the foot of the weights having hinted at a revival last time. Chess Player is also considered with cheekpieces back on.

Assuming no repeat of last time's antics, HARDY BOY can record an overdue second chase success ahead of Bob Bob Ricard.
Class & Speed Card

Trainer Richard Fahey has won two of the last five runnings of this race suggesting the unraced Gold Black is worth a market watch. That said, he may find this six furlongs on the sharp side based on the dam's side of his pedigree. TRIPLE CHARGED showed improved form when third at Ayr and another step forward may see him shed the maiden tag. Lucius Aurelius and Pretty Thing could both enter calculations after their promising debuts.

With the Richard Fahey 2-y-os going so well a chance is taken on newcomer GOLD BLACK, with confidence increased should the betting vibes be strong. Pretty Thing and Lucius Aurelius are open to progress on the back of quite encouraging debut efforts and are feared most in that order.

Richard Fahey has his string in great order so his Golden Horde colt GOLD BLACK is taken to go in at the first time of asking.
Class & Speed Card

With four of the last nine winners trained by Aidan O'Brien and winning favourites in both 2022 and 2023, there is a lot to like about the chances of HIGHBURY, who heads the early markets. Third on his debut, he showed the benefit of that experience when running away with a Leopardstown maiden by over seven lengths after showing a decent turn of foot when asked. The son of Galileo may reverse debut form with the unbeaten Birdman here, though that cannot be guaranteed and Jessica Harrington's Free Eagle gelding looks a worthy adversary who cannot be ignored. Mina Rashid is an outsider to consider after he stayed on strongly to win his maiden at Chester and appeals as having further improvement to come as a stayer.

Plenty of lightly-raced budding stayers tackling this sort of test for the first time line up and it's HIGHBURY who looks the most persuasive option having bolted up in a Leopardstown maiden (strong form) last month. He can provide Aidan O'Brien with an eighth success in this race at the expense of stablemate Illinois, who found only subsequent Derby runner-up Ambiente Friendly too strong last time, while Birdman, who beat the selection on debut, rounds off the shortlist.

Aidan O'Brien fields four runners, three of whom look strong candidates and ILLINOIS looks particularly strong.
Class & Speed Card

ELYSIAN KNIGHT showed a fair amount of ability when he finished third on his debut at Fontwell and he would have learned a great deal from that experience. With normal improvement, he ought to go close. Everybodydancenow is related to plenty of winners and goes for the Nigel Twiston-Davies yard, so it will be interesting to see how he fares in the market on his first start, while any market confidence behind All Well And Good should be noted too.

PATCH MAN was all the rage in the betting (yard 4-11 in bumpers in last 5 seasons) but ultimately may have found the testing ground catching him out on bumper debut at Southwell 4 weeks ago. He's afforded another chance under Harry Cobden. Newcomer Noels Destiny Star is one to consider, with Rocket Man and Elysian Knight another pair worth a second look in a competitive affair.

Olly Murphy's newcomer ALL WELL AND GOOD has more speed in his pedigree than a few of these and might be the answer.
Class & Speed Card

In what looks a trappy affair, the tentative vote goes to JAMINOZ. Lucinda Russell's charge kept on well to finish fourth over an extended mile here last week and, off an unchanged mark stepping up in trip, he can land the spoils. Spanish Hustle has the ability to play a hand in a race of this nature and a bounce back to form off his last winning mark would be no surprise. Jackhammer was too keen for his own good when finishing fourth here latest and, with the headgear discarded this time, completes the shortlist.

This looks competitive for the numbers with SPANISH HUSTLE just about the most persuasive option with this drop back in trip sure to suit. The assessor has given Flying Scotsman every chance so he's dangerous in a change of headgear, with course-winner Jaminoz also of interest.

This can go to SPANISH HUSTLE who won three times over C&D last season and is back on his last winning mark. Jaminoz is next best.
Class & Speed Card

Laurel has her first start since disappointing in last year's Lockinge. She won a Listed contest at Kempton under Ryan Moore before that, but has something to prove on her reappearance and OCEAN JEWEL is preferred. The latter looked an improved filly when winning a Group 2 contest at the Curragh last month with plenty left in the tank, and further improvement looks on the cards. Rogue Millennium won this last year and has joined Joseph O'Brien subsequently. She was no match for the selection when sent off favourite at the Curragh, though she may finish closer on this occasion. Breege accounted for Royal Dress and Running Lion when landing a Group 3 at Epsom, but would prefer some cut in the ground, while William Buick picks up the ride on the Irish filly and Group 3 winner Gregarina and she could go well.

Low-mileage mare LAUREL has been absent since finishing down the field in the Lockinge 13 months ago but she'd looked one to keep firmly on side in landing 3 of her 4 previous starts. All the more significant her leading connections opt to keep her in training as a 5-y-o, she's selected to enhance her good record fresh and strike. Last year's winner Rogue Millennium had little go right on return/yard debut and is feared. Ocean Jewel and Breege are others to consider.

Preference is for last year's winner ROGUE MILLENNIUM, who didn't get much luck behind Ocean Jewel on her return last month.
Class & Speed Card

A competitive contest that may go the way of HIDALGO DE L'ISLE, who has his first start following wind surgery. Fourth in a better race when last seen in October, he is lightly raced for a seven-year-old and may have even more to offer. Enki Flacke can only improve for his first start in 18 months at Bangor and has to be considered, but Forget The Way could be the bigger danger with the booking of Harry Cobden an eye-catching one.

GALATA BRIDGE did well under the circumstances when sixth at Kempton on his reappearance, left with a lot of ground to make up having been hampered early, so he is taken to build on that effort and return to winning ways. Cawthorne Banker has been going the right way in handicaps and is respected, with Forget The Way completing the shortlist.

He seems to have a few quirks but CAWTHORNE BANKER has made good progress since switched to handicaps and can win again.
Class & Speed Card

JOHN L SULLIVAN impressed with the manner of his victory over a mile at Wetherby last week, making smooth headway to join the leaders before putting the race to bed in a matter of strides, and the likelihood is that a 6lb penalty may not be enough to anchor him. Fellow last-time-out winner Rosenzoo also commands respect under a penalty but inconsistency continues to be the main concern with him, while it would be foolish to overlook Jazz Scene, who steps up in trip on his handicap debut.

Having finished second in a very warm handicap for the grade at Wetherby, JOHN L SULLIVAN opened his account back at that venue last week and has strong claims of defying a penalty. The potential fly in the ointment is Jazz Scene, a Sir Mark Prescott handicap debutant tackling a more suitable trip.

Lucinda Russell's JOHN L SULLIVAN hasn't looked back since handicapping and can make light of a 6lb penalty for his Wetherby win.
Class & Speed Card

Six-time Group 1 winner Inspiral took the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf over this trip and she now has another crack at it after her below-par fourth in the Lockinge at Newbury last month. The daughter of Frankel boasts leading credentials, but Kieran Shoemark will have to navigate a path from a tricky draw in stall 10. With that in mind, the vote goes to AUGUSTE RODIN. Aidan O'Brien's colt had a good prep run for this contest when filling the runner-up spot in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh last time and he took the Irish Champion Stakes over this distance in September last year. The 2023 dual Derby hero has proven his versatility in regards to distance at the top level and he could prove very hard to beat. Royal Rhyme took the Brigadier Gerard in preparation for a tilt at this prestigious prize and he may run better than his odds suggest.

INSPIRAL is sure to be all the better for her reappearance and the style of her win at Santa Anita back in November strongly suggests she still has unfinished business at this trip, so she's narrowly preferred to Auguste Rodin, who took a big step back in the right direction when runner-up in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh last time. Royal Rhyme could be the one to fill the places on just his second try at the top level.

Inspiral is preferred to the inconsistent Auguste Rodin but French raider HORIZON DORE (nap) can win his first Group 1.
Class & Speed Card

Kintaro showed improvement when third at Bangor on his second start over hurdles, but the four-year-old will need to do a lot more if he wants to come home in front and a place looks more realistic. Touchwoodexpress had the speed to finish a length third in a bumper here last September and looks interesting dropping back in trip over hurdles, but SEEYOUINMYDREAMS is hard to oppose. She made all to win by 25 lengths over further at Fakenham and may try the same tactics over this distance.

A useful winner in bumpers, SEEYOUINMYDREAMS got back on track making her second start over hurdles when comfortably landing the odds at Fakenham in May, so she looks to hold leading claims in her follow-up bid. Double Oban can take a step forward from his hurdling debut to pose the biggest threat, ahead of Bristol Hill.

Her tendency to race too freely remains a concern but SEEYOUINMYDREAMS ought to dominate this modest race from the front.
Class & Speed Card

Persian Phoenix has been running well in defeat of late and she is a likely candidate once more, while Capellina, who steps up in trip and with cheekpieces applied for the first-time ahead of this handicap bow, must also enter calculations. However, recent Carlisle scorer NATURALIA does not look overburdened by a subsequent 5lb hike in the ratings and she is taken to follow up.

NATURALIA can continue her good start for the Donald Whillans stable and make light of a 5 lb rise for her Carlisle success 3 weeks ago. Persian Phoenix has been performing with credit lately and is second choice ahead of Michael Dods handicap newcomer Capellina.

Donald Whillans' NATURALIA (nap) has taken her form up a level & can defy a 5lb rise for her Carlisle win with the form looking strong.
Class & Speed Card

Wathnan Racing look to hold a strong hand in this contest and James Doyle presumably prefers BESHTANI to Real Gain. Having shown smart form in France, the selection was making his UK debut when finishing an excellent second behind a subsequent winner over an extended mile at Epsom last month. The handicapper left on the same mark and this four-year-old son of Siyouni can make amends for that near-miss. Wild Tiger did it well when scoring readily over 7f in a Goodwood handicap most recently and he warrants respect despite being upped 6lb. Last year's fourth, Aerion Power, looks primed for another prominent showing despite the burden of a 5lb penalty for winning at Nottingham earlier this month, while a truly-run race with a stiff finish can suit Dutch Decoy and he could earn himself a spot on the podium.

BESHTANI showed that he's still improving when an excellent second at Epsom on return and, with that form having been boosted by the winner since, he gets the vote to go one better at the possible expense of Wild Tiger, who is progressing fast. Sonny Liston is another big player and Real Gain still has some potential intact.

Being the type to improve further, BESHTANI is particularly interesting. Real Gain is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

MELTON MOSSY showed the benefits of recent wind surgery when winning Ffos Las last month and, given that Evan Williams' charge remains open to further improvement having joined the yard since that victory, a subsequent 5lb rise might not stop him today. Lucky Lover Boy struck at Uttoxeter last time out and he is a player off 3lb higher, while Gorcombe Moonshine appeals most of the remainder.

Recent Ffos Las handicap debut winner MELTON MOSSY could have more to come for new trainer Evan Williams and is taken to make light of a 5 lb rise. Lucky Lover Boy is still well treated on old form after a 3 lb rise for Uttoxeter and is second choice ahead of Johnny Boom.

Arguably fortunate to gone up just a 5lb rise for last month's quite stylish win, MELTON MOSSY is taken to follow up.
Class & Speed Card

Back from a short absence and following wind surgery, there were signs of promise from the Iain Jardine-trained Sea Girt, who was a creditable fourth over C&D three weeks ago. The Sixties Icon gelding could build on that performance, but it might pay to side with HOT TEAM. Too keen to see out 1m4f here on his latest outing, the drop in trip is likely to be of benefit and this is not the deepest of contests on paper. Propagation is another to consider.

SEA GIRT might have just needed the outing after a break here last time and can come good on her second outing after wind surgery. Fanzone is an obvious threat on the back of his runner-up effort at Nottingham. Hot Team has had a good spell lately and also makes the shortlist.

Not many of these are regular winners and it could pay to take a chance on SEA GIRT on his second run back after wind surgery.
Class & Speed Card

Summer Of Love heads the early markets after Saeed bin Suroor's Dark Angel filly scored comfortably enough on her return at Kempton and, with an opening handicap mark of 88, she can go well with a clear run, but Irish raider ADELAISE is still preferred. A little unlucky when short of room before finishing fourth here last year, she won the Listed Snowdrop Stakes at Kempton in April beating the 100-rated Choisya by a head, suggesting a mark of 98 here is workable. She looks as if she stays further so a fast-run mile could be ideal and, with William Buick booked to ride, she appears to have every chance. Villanova Queen won this last year and returns to handicap company boasting a chance, along with the lightly-raced pair Fakhama and Doha.

Having looked a handicapper going places last spring, ELIM had a year off the track but with her reappearance chock-full of promise, she's fancied to build on that for her up-and-coming stable. Summer of Love and Doha are low-mileage 4-y-os for excellent yards so they demand respect, while Azahara Palace's much-improved showing at Leicester marks her down as another interesting contender.

A host hold chances but ELIM, whose reappearance form has been boosted, appeals as one who could be well suited by a race like this.
Class & Speed Card

With hardly any form to go on, a tentative vote goes to the William Haggas-trained AL WASEELA. The daughter of Siyouni changed hands for 50,000gns and is related to a few Group winners, so she could make an impression on her debut. Renewal also makes plenty of appeal on paper for the in-form Ralph Beckett stable and she will be sure to improve as she steps up in trip, while Hackney Diamonds brings the best known form to the table after her fifth at Windsor.

Those with experience don't set the bar high so this will likely go to a newcomer. RENEWAL cost 210,000 gns as a yearling and gets the vote before any betting clues are known. Al Waseela, Cristalino and Standput are others who make plenty of paper appeal.

This looks at the mercy of a newcomer and CRISTALINO is tentatively preferred to Nad Alshiba Rain.
Class & Speed Card

HILLSIN was no match for an improver at Exeter in April, but Alan Jones' six-year-old made no mistake when going one place better at Newton Abbot three weeks ago. A 5lb rise looks well within range and he is taken to follow up. Soft ground could offer an excuse for Jaxonne's lack of finishing effort at Southwell last time, having travelled strongly into contention, so he's a worthy candidate now back on a sounder surface. Socialist Agenda completed a double on the Flat recently and is of interest returned to hurdles.

JAXONNE was impressive when opening his account on his penultimate start and he's likely to get back on the up away from very testing ground, so he takes preference over Hillsin, who belatedly opened his account at Newton Abbot 3 weeks ago. Socialist Agenda is another player having won on the Flat last month.

6-6 in Welsh points until a blip last time, VOODOO DOLL is taken ahead of Socialist Agenda, another on a career-low hurdles mark.
Class & Speed Card

COEUR JAUNE showed good early speed before fading into third on her debut at Nottingham a fortnight ago and she appeals as the most likely winner. That said, both Charmster and She Went Whoosh make appeal on paper and market support should be noted ahead of their respective debuts. Bacor has produced a similar level of form across both of her starts but will need a bit more to come out on top.

A €140,000 purchase from the breeze-ups, COEUR JAUNE produced a promising first effort when third in a Nottingham maiden 2 weeks ago and, with improvement anticipated, she looks to hold sound claims of building on that and coming out on top. There are a number of interesting newcomers in opposition, headed up by She Went Whoosh and Lady Roxby before the benefit of market clues.

The choice is COEUR JAUNE who showed more than enough on her Nottingham debut to suggest a race like this should be within her grasp.
Class & Speed Card

Wathnan Racing might have another useful one on their hands with SHADOW ARMY, who overcame inexperience to defeat subsequent Listed winner Francisco's Piece at York on his debut. Richard Fahey's yard has hit a rich vein of form in recent weeks and he could continue that trend, but Aidan O'Brien knows what it takes to land this contest and his pair Treasure Isle and Celtic Chieftain must be feared. Pont Neuf made it two from two when winning at Salisbury last month and he is another who looks more than capable at this higher level. There is no shortage of an American challenge with the likes of Gabaldon and Honorary American taking their chance, and the former, who made a successful debut at Gulfstream last month, rates the pick of them.

TREASURE ISLE recorded a useful performance at Naas last month and is taken to provide the Aidan O'Brien/Ryan Moore combination with a fourth win in this since 2015. Richard Fahey's juveniles have been going well and Shadow Army looked a nice prospect when edging out a subsequent French listed winner on his York debut in May. The selection's stablemate Celtic Chieftain and sole filly Aviation Time, who looked unlucky at Beverley recently, complete the shortlist.

Preference is for CELTIC CHIEFTAIN, whose debut win at Navan was a performance packed with promise. Cheval de Guerre is feared.
Class & Speed Card

TEN COMMITMENTS outran his odds when flying home late to finish second on his handicap debut at Salisbury recently. The son of Due Diligence goes off the same mark and he could prove very tough to beat. The main danger might be Persian Blue, who finished fourth in a class 4 event at Kempton last time and may appreciate this return to turf. Of the remainder, Chiedozie makes the most appeal in first-time cheekpieces.

TEN COMMITMENTS found improvement when second at Salisbury last time and this doesn't appear to be as good a race, so he's preferred to Dark Dreamer, the only other one with a reasonable last effort to his name. Persian Blue has run well on her only previous visit to the course, so she's of interest on reappearance.

Ten Commitments is the obvious starting point but BONAVENTURE has threatened better and may be the answer with a tongue-tie added.
Class & Speed Card

Oligopoly sets the standard with an official rating of 80 and is an obvious candidate ahead of his stable debut. He hasn't been seen for almost a year though, and so preference is for REBEL EMPIRE. Richard Hannon's gelding hit the frame in handicap company at Windsor last time out and a similar level of performance might suffice. Newcomer Ice Pop is also noted.

OLIGOPOLY proved very disappointing when trailing in last of 11 in a Curragh nursery on his final start for Joseph O'Brien in July. Gelded/changed hands for 11,000 gns thereafter, his previous efforts would be enough to see him very competitive in a race of this nature, so he gets the narrow vote to hit the ground running back from 11 months off. Rebel Empire can give him most to think about, whilst Ice Pop, Flowstate and Canon's House are a trio of newcomers to note.

It may be worth siding with OLIGOPOLY. The form of his first two starts for Joseph O'Brien reads well in the context of this race.
Class & Speed Card

BEAULD AS BRASS finished a close-up third at Lingfield last month and he is only 3lb higher for that effort. Adam West's four-year-old now sports a first-time hood and, with a 5lb claimer in the plate, he could be the one to beat. Angle Land has hit the frame the last twice and she could closer off the same mark as her most recent third at Wetherby, while Dandy Dinmont is another to keep an eye on.

STRONG JOHNSON has been building up to something and, now back down in trip/grade, he could be ready to capitalise on an appealing mark. Angle Land should also benefit from the return to the minimum trip, so she's feared most ahead of Dandy Dinmont.

Paul Midgley can win this race for the third year in a row courtesy of the class-dropping STRONG JOHNSON (nap).
Class & Speed Card

In what is likely to be a tactical affair, KARDIA might be allowed an easy time of things on the lead and, given that this C&D holds no fears for Ed Bethell's four-year-old, she may prove tough to peg back. Strawman holds solid claims from his current mark and looks the most likely danger, while handicap debutant Yurinov can follow the pair home.

KARDIA left her reappearance effort in her wake with her usual hood refitted when finishing runner-up at Doncaster 3 weeks ago and Ed Bethell's low-mileage 4-y-o looks a big player with a repeat back at the scene of her sole previous victory. Yurinov rates a likely improver now handicapping and looks the lead threat.

This can go to KARDIA who has won over C&D and who may enjoy the run of the race out in front.
Class & Speed Card

BLETCHLEY STORM has switched yards since returning an easy winner at Leicester in April. She's been raised 11lb for that but the likely soft ground will suit and another bold bid is expected. Laser Focus just missed out on a hat-trick when beaten a neck at Wetherby and is not out of this, but Chelmsford winner Fillyfudge would have preferred a faster surface. Sisterandbrother won an amateur riders' race at Haydock last time and is another to note.

LASER FOCUS was only denied by another one that's going the right way when second at Wetherby 8 days ago and he's fancied to get back to winning ways. Last-time-out winners Sisterandbrother and Bletchley Storm look the main dangers.

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and it looks a golden opportunity for LASER FOCUS to get back in the winners' enclosure.
Class & Speed Card

ZIGGY'S QUEEN put in a bold display to hit the frame when dropped to this level at Hamilton earlier in the month and the handicapper may have been kind to leave her mark unchanged. Richard Fahey's filly may only need to reproduce that performance in order to get back to winning ways. The main threat may possibly be Cash In, who filled the runner-up spot over C&D last time and could have a say on his handicap now. Moyola is another to consider after his triumph at Hamilton last Wednesday.

MOYOLA found some improvement and ultimately ran out a pretty taking winner over this trip at Hamilton 7 days ago and he's very much of interest turned out quickly under a penalty. Ziggy's Queen and Cash In have wins in them this term and are feared, along with Ticktyboo.

The vote goes to CASH IN who was only just beaten in a C&D novice a fortnight ago. His opening mark of 72 looks workable on that form.
Class & Speed Card

PATRONAGE won a shade cosily over C&D last month with the reopposing Emerald City back in fourth. A 5lb rise may not be enough to anchor Nigel Tinkler's charge with further progress likely. Serendipitous Lady will relish any cut in the ground and a better effort when fourth at Carlisle latest suggests she can figure, while Standbackandlook finished runner-up at Leicester without troubling the winner and could go well again.

STANDBACKANDLOOK posted his best effort to date in handicaps when runner-up at Leicester 15 days ago and, with the extra emphasis on stamina here in his favour, he's fancied to go one better. Patronage looks an obvious threat after scoring comfortably over C&D last time and Serendipitous Lady isn't without hope.

Standbackandlook can build on his Leicester promise but SERENDIPITOUS LADY is improving run by run for her new stable.
Class & Speed Card

Organic is aiming to complete a hat-trick in the space of a week for the in-form George Boughey stable after accounting for her nearest rival by over four lengths at Bath last time. However, she may be found out by VOLCANOLOGY in this contest. The daughter of Phoenix Of Spain ran too bad to be true on her nursery debut at Wolverhampton in October and she is worth another chance on her return to turf up in trip, while Dandy's Angel looks the best of the remainder.

ORGANIC has been much improved in handicaps this year and can complete the hat-trick under a double penalty. Love Yours and Do I Dream can follow her home.

Given that she won by over 4l last time a double-penalty may not be enough to stop ORGANIC from completing a quick hat-trick.

Mick Appleby has won this three times in the last seven renewals, each time with the favourite, and ANDROMEDAS KINGDOM may add to that tally. Two wins at Bath were followed by a second at the same track last time and, although she needs a career best off this mark to win, she is the in-form option. Astronomica may do better after her first start of the season and will appreciate the return to this grade, with Believe You Me another to take seriously.

BALLSBRIDGE went like the best horse at the weights but was sent for home a bit too soon at Pontefract 9 days ago and can make amends off the same mark back down in trip. The thriving Andromedas Kingdom is the obvious threat, with Dougies Dream best of the others.

Fast ground was no good to ASTRONOMICA last time and she's got a solid record in turf handicaps.
Class & Speed Card

PROTEST RALLY bounced back to form when victorious by over a length in this grade at Musselburgh on his latest outing and turns out under a 5lb penalty. The four-year-old brings the best recent form to this event and may prove hard to beat. The main threat might be Prospect, who wasn't disgraced in fourth at this level at Thirsk earlier in the month and he has to be considered off 2lb lower. Sassy Soprano completes the shortlist.

PROTEST RALLY was well on top come the finish at Musselburgh last week and he remains unexposed at the minimum trip. He can defy a penalty at the main expense of Prospect and Sassy Soprano.

This looks best left to PROTEST RALLY (nap) who won with a bit more in hand than the margin would suggest at Musselburgh six days ago.
Class & Speed Card

Ney was not at his best last time out over further, but won his only previous start over this trip at Catterick and could go well. Douglas Dc is another of interest despite being a maiden on the Flat and he can get involved back up in trip, but YOUNG MERLIN could be the one. He won't mind any cut in the ground and wasn't beaten far off 1lb lower when second at Salisbury last month.

YOUNG MERLIN has done well for this yard and the form of his latest second at Salisbury has worked out well, so he gets the vote off a similar mark. Russian Rumour goes well for this rider and remains on a handy mark, so is next best ahead of Tigerten.

The most likely win contenders appear to be YOUNG MERLIN, Russian Rumour and Ney.
Ths is the racecard key.

This is the 16:15 Kempton race from the video above backed at 28/1 earlier in the day.
