There were 62 Races on Saturday 21st June 2025 across 9 meetings. There was 7 races at Redcar, 7 races at Limerick, 6 races at Newmarket, 7 races at Down Royal, 7 races at Ascot, 7 races at Bangor, 8 races at Ayr, 7 races at Lingfield, 6 races at Haydock, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.

TRY STORM CAT battled all the way to the line when just touched off at Hamilton recently and is likely to have plenty more to offer. The son of Saxon Warrior looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to shed his maiden tag. Willowinghurn struck over track and trip on her penultimate start and David O'Meara's filly has experience on her side so she is respected. Our Hero Matty completes the shortlist.

Quite competitive. TRY STORM CAT has twice given it a good go from the front and he has leading form claims.
Class & Speed Card

GREAT PROFIT was too keen to do himself justice when well beaten on his debut at Ripon, but he would have learned a lot from that experience. Richard Fahey's youngster was an expensive 360,000-pounds purchase and is well related so he could take a big leap forward to strike. O Fortuna possibly raced on the wrong side of the track when only seventh on his introduction over C&D and may show more. Jungle Monarch is another to note.

Karl Burke's Bungle Inthejungle colt JUNGLE MONARCH made a promising start when fifth at Wolverhampton and can build on it.
Class & Speed Card

The Ger Lyons-trained KNOCKMARK looks to have been found a nice opportunity to get his head in front. Having finished fourth on two occasions earlier in the season, the son of Havana Grey stepped up on those runs when second at Fairyhouse recently. A reproduction of that effort would almost certainly suffice in a race of this nature. Given his experience, it would be no great surprise to see the gelding make all under James Ryan. Alfred Tennyson has shown enough in five starts to suggest he can win a maiden and perhaps the application of first-time blinkers will spark further improvement. Aeon's Aegis, who ran well here in April, is also worth considering.

Joseph O'Brien runs two and although Aeon's Aegis has shown some ability, a chance is taken on SWEET BAY to improve on turf debut
Class & Speed Card

Crowd Quake made it three wins from his last four when on target at Yarmouth last month and the progressive Night Of Thunder gelding merits respect, but it is LITTLE KEILEE that shades preference. Second to an in-form rival on her stable debut over 7f at Catterick recently, returning to the mile looks certain to suit and she can go one place better. Super Hit didn't get the clearest of runs at Chester last time out and is well worth considering today.

The Verdict comprises the James Owen-trained runners LITTLE KEILEE and Cables Queen, who both look interesting back up in trip.
Class & Speed Card

IN MY TEENS ran with plenty of promise to finish second on her racecourse debut at Gowran at the start of the month and an extra couple of furlongs should pose no concern, especially given her dam's exploits on the racetrack as a dual Grade 1 winner over hurdles. Diamond Exchange is expected to benefit from dropping back in trip after tackling 1m4f at the Curragh, while Avant Nous and Two For Joy are both open to a fair amount of improvement.

IN MY TEENS stayed on strongly over 1m on debut at Gowran and she may be able to get her head in front stepped up to this longer trip
Class & Speed Card

COSMIC SOUL has filled the runner-up berth over 2m at Catterick the last twice and his rating hasn't been changed since the latest of those, when beaten less than a length. Patrick Neville's five-year-old is yet to achieve success in his career, but this looks like a good spot. Dubai Venture gamely made every yard of the running to score over 1m4f at Pontefract and is just 2lb higher. Paco's Pride lurks on an appealing rating and is another to keep an eye on.

Ed Walker's low-mileage mare GLIMMER OF LIGHT made a promising return when third at Leicester and can build on it to get off the mark.
Class & Speed Card

Fairyhouse runner-up MISAPPROPRIATION has strong claims of going one place better. The form of that race received a significant boost when the third landed a premier handicap on her next start. Stepping back up a furlong should benefit the Ger Lyons-trained filly, given that she is already a winner at the distance. Nicola Burns, who was in the saddle last time, retains the ride. Towards the foot of the weights, Rion Rubette catches the eye. Second on her most recent start at the Curragh, the Michael Butler-trained daughter of New Bay should be suited to this longer trip. Glyndwr and Bishopton are others to consider in a tight-knit affair.

The Ger Lyons pair of Glyndwr and MISAPPROPRIATION are of most interest. Slight preference is for the latter returning to 7f.
Class & Speed Card

TREANMOR hardly came out of first gear when making an impressive debut at Newmarket last month and this son of Frankel, who cost 2,000,000 euros as a yearling, could be something special if he continues to flourish. This is obviously a stiffer test and Moments Of Joy stands out as a higher calibre opponent. A game winner on her debut at Leopardstown just 16 days ago, the Aidan O'Brien-trained filly merits serious consideration as the sole Ballydoyle representative. Humidity was privately purchased by Wathnan Racing after his game winning debut at Newbury and is another serious player.

Godolphin colt TREANMOR has stacks of potential, while Moments Of Joy and Humidity have strong credentials.
Class & Speed Card

The strength of form might be up for debate, but WILD DESERT was visually impressive when recording a five-length success at Haydock on his debut last month. A 6lb penalty is unlikely to prevent another big run and he is fancied to double his tally, but stablemate Pacific Avenue, who is a full brother to Darley Stakes winner Highland Avenue, may well give him plenty to think about. Commander's Intent was able to step forward from a mildly promising debut effort to score at Yarmouth recently and is no back number.

Charlie Appleby has a great record in this race and his two runners, WILD DESERT and Pacific Avenue, comprise the Verdict.
Class & Speed Card

ANGELO PIO had the measure of Alba Chiara (second) in a C&D maiden last month and although the latter is 3lb better off in this handicap, Joseph O'Brien's colt can confirm his superiority en route to further success. Edergole's Angel is more exposed than most of these, but she has been running well in defeat of late and a first-time visor could elicit some improvement. Others to note include Camevere and Paddydaddy.

ALBA CHIARA (nap) needed to race wide when finishing second to one of today's rivals over C&D last time. She can turn the tables here
Class & Speed Card

NAANA'S SPARKLE showed up well for a long way in the 3YO Dash at Epsom a fortnight ago and could be worth chancing in these calmer waters. That was easily his stiffest task of the season so far and a 1lb nudge down the ratings could prove to be a gift from the handicapper. Mission Command and Reservardo are closely matched based on their recent Musselburgh encounter and can fight it out for second.

A few hold chances but RESERVARDO started life in handicaps with a good Musselburgh third and is taken to resume winning ways.
Class & Speed Card

Provided she breaks on terms, ANVIKA can record a second win at this track. Runner-up in a big field at the Curragh on her penultimate outing, Sheila Lavery's four-year-old blew her chance early on when slowly away here last time. Although the daughter of Dandy Man has dwelt on occasions, that was the first time she lost many lengths from the stalls. On the assumption that she won't be as tardy, she is given the nod. The David Marnane-trained Amemri has to be respected in her bid for a five-timer. While this is the highest grade she has raced in, she is an improving mare. Mallavelly will appreciate returning to a mile.

Stormie Outlook has claims if she can recapture last year's form, but this looks like a golden opportunity for ANVIKA (nap) to win
Class & Speed Card

Always highly regarded by connections, AL RIFFA didn't shape without promise when rallying for fourth in the Prix Ganay. It was only last July when he ran City Of Troy to a length in the Coral Eclipse and, already a Group 1 winner over 1m4f, the son of Wootton Bassett looks the value play in this prestigious contest. Winner of the Breeders' Cup Turf last November and a determined scorer on his return to British shores at York last month, Rebel's Romance should go very close. Now owned by Amo Racing, Ghostwriter remains a capable sort at this level, while Space Legend should improve for going back up in trip.

Preference is for GHOSTWRITER. He tackles a new trip but his dam was a 1m4f winner and he possesses some strong Group 1 form.
Class & Speed Card

ELARAK finished a creditable sixth on the Rowley Mile when making his debut in October before taking a considerable step forward to score at Lingfield last month. The Kingman colt ought to progress further and, with race-fitness on his side, is taken to repel the challenge of First Principle, who defeated a now 91-rated rival at Kempton in December. Wolfpack could only manage a midfield finish at Doncaster a fortnight ago but improvement appears likely today.

This may be a straight fight between the two previous winners, with FIRST PRINCIPLE preferred to Elarak..
Class & Speed Card

Cala Bonita won nicely at Gowran, but has been raised 7lb and has a bit to prove over this trip. Palmezzano warrants respect on his second at Navan and could pose a threat if fully recovered from whatever ailed him at Leopardstown subsequently, but a chance is taken on LETIZA. She placed off similar marks towards the end of last year and Henry de Bromhead's daughter of Holy Roman Emperor will be sharper for her recent comeback run.

PALMEZZANO went very close on his handicap debut at Navan and he can take this if in the full of his health after going wrong last time
Class & Speed Card

MUKER took this race off 1lb lower 12 months ago and is an attractive proposition as he bids for a repeat with stronger credentials this time around. Denied a clear run behind a surprise winner at Southwell on his most recent start, this still zestful seven-year-old has a decent chance of enhancing his profile with a third career win over this C&D. Azure Angel has form that ties in with the selection through his Southwell conqueror and needs serious thought. Zarzyni and Alligator Alley are other major players.

Last year's one-two MUKER (nap) and Zarzyni should find this being run to suit and they can fill the same placings.
Class & Speed Card

NOTFORALONGTIME can provide the locally-based Laura Hourigan stable with a winner. Fifth in a stronger race here last time, the eight-year-old stayed on strongly inside the final furlong. A multiple winner on the all-weather, he has only the solitary success on turf but is effective on the surface. Well handicapped at present, the son of Paco Boy may have been laid out for this meeting. The hat-trick seeking Deuteronomy has to be given serious consideration. An improving gelding, the penny really seems to have dropped this season. Recent Gowran Park winner Sierra De Gredos is lightly raced and should be competitive off a 6lb higher mark.

A competitive handicap can go the way of the improving SIERRA DE GREDOS, who impressed when scoring at Gowran last time out
Class & Speed Card

Last year's Commonwealth Cup hero Inisherin is back for more and showed more than enough when victorious in the Clipper at York to suggest he is set for a big run. French raider Lazzat romped home in Listed company at Chantilly last time and took the Prix Maurice de Gheest with the minimum of fuss last August, so he commands huge respect. However, a chance can be taken on TOPGEAR. Christopher Head's six-year-old comfortably struck in a Group 3 at Longchamp on his return and the drop back to this distance looks a good move. He may get the race run to suit and could be the one to beat.

Lazzat is a major player but SATONO REVE is taken to become the first Japanese-trained winner at Royal Ascot.
Class & Speed Card

CIRCE's winning run came to an end at Epsom recently, but she still ran well in fifth when upped to a higher grade. Returning to a sounder surface is a plus and she gets the vote ahead of Buccabay, who has strong claims if bouncing back to the form of his penultimate success at Windsor last month. Gelded and having undergone wind surgery since last seen in Bahrain this January, Jubilee Walk remains a sprinter with potential.

The return to faster ground can see CIRCE (nap) resume winning ways. Sudden Flight and Buccabay are feared most.
Class & Speed Card

Royal Entry held her own in His Majesty's Plate here and the drop in both class and trip is in her favour. Navy Waters made it third-time lucky in a C&D maiden on the same card, but SOUND OF LIGHTNING didn't really get the rub of the green on her handicap debut at Leopardstown and can take the necessary step forward from that promising fourth. Fiver Friday struggled at Gowran, but went down by a small margin in this last year.

NAVY WATERS won over C&D last time and was a close second on her two starts prior. She is lightly raced and can continue to improve.
Class & Speed Card

Collingham joined Jake Coulson's yard after winning a claimer over hurdles at Fakenham last month and is respected, despite the runner-up doing little to boost the form in two subsequent starts. However, TACTICAL AFFAIR's 10-length romp at Stratford carries most substance and he gets a confident vote. The hat-trick seeking Barranco was also a facile winner on his latest start but an 18lb higher rating looks a harsh assessment.

The major hike in the weights may not deny BARRANCO the hat-trick. He's taken over chasing debutant Bareback Jack.
Class & Speed Card

The Aidan O'Brien-trained QUEENSTOWN can make a winning seasonal reappearance. Last seen when finishing mid-division in the Newmarket Cesarewitch, the five-year-old is versatile when it comes to trip. Runner-up to Kyprios a couple of times last year, the son of Galileo has run well off the back of a break in previous campaigns. Given his proven stamina, jockey Ronan Whelan is likely to make this race a thorough test. The veteran Layfayette has every chance, despite arguably preferring an easier surface. Yet to hit form this term, the fitting of first-time cheekpieces could enhance his claims. Cork runner-up Lemsairbat showed enough promise to suggest that she can also make her presence felt.

Winner of this race in 2023, LAYFAYETTE has twice run well in defeat over shorter this season but this trip suits him best nowadays.
Class & Speed Card

LIMA SIERRA arrives in the best form having finished a promising second at Ripon before scoring at Catterick. The daughter of Kodi Bear is taken to continue her good progress and defy a 4lb rise. Baby Rover has a couple of lengths to find with the selection on running at Catterick but could still make the frame, while Bow Street looks worth a second glance back in this lower grade having won off a higher mark on the all-weather last year.

This looks a good opportunity for Nigel Tinkler's LIMA SIERRA to defy a 4lb weights rise and follow up her maiden Catterick success.
Class & Speed Card

Homestrait has plenty to offer based on her three consecutive second-placed finishes and her reliability is a likeable attribute. However, MO OF CAIRO also filled the runner-up spot on his racecourse debut at Hamilton and given the winner of that race was a commendable third in the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot on Wednesday, the son of Havana Grey gets the vote based on potential. The well-bred Sunny Smile was a noteworthy third when introduced over C&D last month and is another appealing contender.

Sunny Smile and Stoic Poet are both open to improvement but perhaps not so much as MO OF CAIRO, who shaped so well at Hamilton.
Class & Speed Card

A strong Irish challenge will perhaps be headed by Comanche Brave, who chased home Field Of Gold when fifth in the Irish 2,000 Guineas last month. Saracen and California Dreamer are two others who bring high-class form to the table, but REMMOOZ could be the answer. A winner of two novice events at Doncaster, the latest of those coming in fine style under a penalty, he has the potential to be a real star performer and may well prove capable in these deeper waters. Seagulls Eleven struggled in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket but should not be underestimated.

The most compelling claims are held by the progressive COMANCHE BRAVE (nap), whose dam Ishvana won this race in 2012.
Class & Speed Card

A winner at Doncaster on his first attempt over this distance last time out, CURRAN is likely to have more improvement forthcoming on the back of that success and he can follow up off 2lb higher. Runner-up on his return to the turf at Goodwood most recently, Tides Of War is a key player on the drop in trip, as well as Red Flyer, who has dropped back to a mark 7lb below his last win.

There's a chance that CURRAN will be able to dictate in the same fashion as Doncaster and he's taken to follow up under Jack Callan.
Class & Speed Card

In theory, Acapulco Bay should find this easier than the Group 3 and Listed races he has contested, but he must concede weight to some unexposed rivals. Precious little separated Glen To Glen and Mocking at Leopardstown back in March, although the former is also engaged at Royal Ascot. Vorfreude has kept good company in maidens, but so has KILMEADEN and his excellent Ballinrobe second to Wednesday's Queen's Vase hero Carmers means he could be really well treated off 85.

KILMEADEN gets the nod. His 1.25l second behind Queen's Vase winner Carmers at Ballinrobe suggests he could be very well treated off 85
Class & Speed Card

OBSESSEDWITHYOU was a ready winner over two miles at Ffos Las last month and could be tough to reel in if the step back up in distance can be taken in her stride. Calli Black also rates a serious player based on an improved round of jumping when she scored at Worcester a fortnight ago. C&D winner Fancy Stuff and Lost Connections can also figure with their stamina not in question.

If Obsessedwithyou and Calli Black do take each other on this time, SPECIAL DRAGON may have the quality to capitalise.
Class & Speed Card

Unlucky in running when sixth here earlier this month, FAIRE LA NOUBA can gain compensation. The John O'Neill-trained colt started his campaign with a run in the Chester Vase and, almost certainly better than a mark of 67, the son of River Boyne looks to have been presented with a nice opportunity to register a first career success. All Told, who caught the eye more than once over the winter, should relish this step up in trip. While he already has every chance on official ratings, the extra distance should bring about improvement. His stablemate, the lightly-raced Denim And Diamonds, merits consideration too.

FAIRE LA NOUBA was unlucky not to have been closer off 67 in a handicap over a furlong shorter here last time and can win.
Class & Speed Card

RAVISHING BEAUTY was a solid fourth here last month and that effort looks better in hindsight given the third has subsequently won. This looks less competitive and Jedd O'Keeffe's charge is worthy of another chance off her current mark. Jesmond Dawn is only 2lb higher than when successful at Ripon last term and he could bounce back at any time, while Top Gun Tina has a shout on her second at Carlisle in May.

Richard Fahey's lightly raced MWAFAQ is worth siding with to build on earlier promise and get off the mark.
Class & Speed Card

Linda Perratt's Moon Flight won this off 2lb higher last year but LION'S HOUSE could be the yard's flag bearer this time if he handles switching to turf after resuming winning ways over 5f at Southwell three weeks ago. Although a surprise winner on the day, the son of Oasis Dream was rated higher as a juvenile and a 4lb rise should be manageable. Fellow last-time-out winner Master Of My Fate is feared the most, while Water Of Leith loves it here and also commands respect.

Water Of Leith should go well but MON NA SLIEVE drops in grade and brings some strong turf formlines into the race.
Class & Speed Card

JARRAAF, a previous course-and-distance winner, failed to land the odds on his return in Listed company at Salisbury last month, but he could prove better with that outing under his belt and his stable's runners are going well at present. The hat-trick seeking More Thunder, Aramram and Woodhay Wonder are all closely matched and are shortlisted, while Get It impressed in scoring over track and trip last time and cannot be left out of calculations.

Jarraaf is suited by this C&D and can go well but MORE THUNDER looks as though he'll have more to give on this stiff 6f.
Class & Speed Card

A highly encouraging second at Windsor last time out, SCATTERING LIGHT should be suited by the nature of this contest against her own sex and the booking of Hector Crouch will not inconvenience either. Bintjan has been plying her trade well over further of late and dropping in trip may not be ideal, but she has the form to go close in this. The consistent Alondra is another to note, as well as Diamont Katie.

A tightly knit handicap can go to DIAMONT KATIE, who's had little luck since switched to turf. Dark Rosa is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

ARCLAND has been a revelation since joining the Gavin Cromwell yard and a 7lb rise for his most recent success at Navan over slightly further may not be enough to prevent him from going in again. Four lengths behind him on that occasion was Steps In The Sand (fifth), who is also open to more improvement with Shane Foley an eye-catching booking. A highly creditable third over shorter at Fairyhouse last time out, Jawhary could relish going back up in trip, while Billie Frechette has been a consistent sort of late under both codes.

JAWHARY has been dropping down the handicap and showed signs he may be capable of exploiting his mark when third recently
Class & Speed Card

LEADING FORCE fell for the first time under Rules when he seemingly failed to adapt to racing in a visor at Worcester a fortnight ago. He can atone for that uncharacteristic mishap, with cheekpieces reemployed instead. A ready winner in the same headgear at Uttoxeter on his penultimate start, the eight-year-old should also benefit from Sean Bowen being back in the saddle. Old Page can figure if he transfers his Sedgefield form to this venue, while Cap Du Nord appeals off a competitive mark.

Although no complete certainty himself, LEADING FORCE is taken to account for three rivals on high marks and one declining power.
Class & Speed Card

BARROGSTOWN GIRL has shaped well enough on her two most recent starts to suggest that she is ready to add to her three previous victories. Successful at this track last July, the Jarlath Fahey-trained mare has been largely consistent in subsequent runs. Despite stepping up in grade, the five-year-old is worth siding with in a competitive affair. The booking of Ronan Whelan also catches the eye given that connections have claimed off her in recent times. Burren Song has yet to win for Ciaran Murphy, but has shown promise in a few outings. The upside is that the seven-year-old is now looking a well-handicapped horse. Junkyard Dog has to be of interest taking on his elders.

Barrogstown Girl and JUNKYARD DOG look set to fight out the finish but it's the latter who can come out on top
Class & Speed Card

Wind and gelding operations seem to have had a very positive impact on CREATIF, who has registered a win and two second-placed finishes since undergoing those procedures. With the likelihood of further improvement over this longer trip, the David O'Meara-trained four-year-old can kick on further on just his seventh career start. The ultra-tough La Pulga is a prime candidate to make this a good test from the front end, while Westerton and Oneforthegutter should also be on the premises.

Creatif (second choice) can extend his run of good efforts to start the year but preference is for Alan King's WESTERTON.
Class & Speed Card

SALLAAL beat only four rivals when scoring easily over the extended mile at Hamilton, but both the second and third have boosted that form subsequently. Pedigree suggests the son of Frankel will relish this extra distance and Roger Varian's charge looks on a potentially lenient mark now handicapping. Seraph Gabriel also steps up in trip, having finished second in a competitive contest at Sandown on his handicap bow, and he warrants serious consideration. Fast ground is an unknown for the French challenger Best Secret, with Ernst Blofeld, who also sports the Wathnan colours, preferred on his respectable fourth at Newbury last month.

High draws have firmly had the call in previous editions and SERAPH GABRIEL from stall 16 is a strong candidate this time round.
Class & Speed Card

First Ascent showed a good attitude when just touched off here on his third career start and is entitled to be in the mix once again. However, it wouldn't be a huge surprise if the fifth from that contest, COLPE CROSS, proved capable of reversing the form. The daughter of Le Havre finished her race off well on that debut and the step up in trip should yield improvement. Boxing Great and Arctic Bresil head the remainder.

COLPE CROSS wasn't that far behind First Ascent on her debut and she may be able to reverse that form over this longer trip
Class & Speed Card

Francesco Baracca returned to winning ways over 1m6f at Bath earlier in the month and can cope with this drop in distance to go close, but he might come out second best to LENNY'S SPIRIT. The seven-year-old made a highly encouraging first start for the Denis Quinn stable when bolting up over 1m2f at this venue last month. He has a 10lb higher rating to contend with, but that is unlikely to prevent him from going in again. Laser Focus is the pick of the remainder.

The vote goes to LENNY'S SPIRIT, who took advantage of a reduced mark when scoring by 6l here on his recent stable debut.
Class & Speed Card

SOLENT GATEWAY got off the mark in this sphere over track and trip earlier in the month and sets the standard with an official rating of 112. It would be no surprise to see him defy his 7lb penalty, with the main threat possibly One Cool Dreamer. Alan King's four-year-old could only manage fourth on his first outing over timber at Warwick, but he should take a step forward to have a say. Granny B looks best of the rest.

This looks best left to SOLENT GATEWAY to follow up his win over C&D 15 days ago. One Cool Dreamer looks second best.
Class & Speed Card

Top-rated Electric Storm was far from disgraced in the Temple last time out and is sure to give her running at this lower level, but it was hard not to be impressed with ENCHANTING, who put her rivals to the sword at Goodwood on seasonal debut last month. The daughter of Blue Point looks more than ready to tackle a contest of this nature now, and she is fancied to find the necessary improvement. First Instinct finished third in the Sandy Lane recently and, in receipt of weight from the aforementioned pair, must be noted.

First Instinct is solid but a chance is taken with ROSY AFFAIR who shaped as if this drop in trip would suit on her reappearance.
Class & Speed Card

Bred in the purple with his dam a multiple Group 1 winner, BURJ ZABEEL should be capable of breaking the maiden on his first go over 1m4f. He's had a gelding operation since being narrowly denied at Redcar last month. Another one with a lofty pedigree, Alibey didn't show much first time out at Goodwood but stepping up in trip on a more conventional track is likely to suit, while Maraaheb is likely to give his running.

This looks a good opportunity for BURJ ZABEEL, who sets a clear standard on her close call behind an odds-on rival at Redcar.
Class & Speed Card

Master trainer Willie Mullins rarely leaves Royal Ascot without a winner and SOBER looks to have been laid out for this unique test following a comfortable success over hurdles at Killarney last month. Formerly with Andre Fabre in France where he landed a pair of Group 2's over staying trips, he may have too much class for most of the opposition. Third in the Copper Horse Stakes earlier in the week, Samui should relish going up in trip and looks the main danger, along with Dallas Star, who has strong claims on his penultimate second to Kyprios at Leopardstown.

This looks an ordinary renewal of the Flat season's longest race and everything points to SOBER being difficult to beat.
Class & Speed Card

SKIMMING ALONG showed a great deal of improvement in a first-time hood to score at this level at Brighton earlier in the month. Daniel Steele's four-year-old makes only his second outing on turf and is unexposed over this distance, so he looks the one to beat. Irezumi finished second behind the selection last time and may fill that spot again, while Formal Address is also considered after his third in a handicap at Brighton.

Last-time-out winner SKIMMING ALONG is taken to confirm placings with Irezumi.
Class & Speed Card

Getalead ran in snatches when second over 2m5f at Warwick last month and should remain competitive off an unchanged mark, but the drop in trip is a concern. With that in mind, BELLBIRD gets the vote. Donald McCain's mare occupied the runner-up berth in a warmer event at Cartmel and the assessor may have been generous to only put her up 1lb. Dog Fox can fight it out for the minor honours.

The sole C&D winner in the line-up, DOG FOX is also the least exposed of the protagonists. Getalead can chase him home.
Class & Speed Card

The application of first-time blinkers resulted in a first career success for SUPERIOR COUNCIL at Hamilton latest. A wide draw isn't ideal, but there isn't bundles of early pace on show. If able to adopt a prominent position, he could repeat the dose, which could come at the main expense of Coconut Bay, who will appreciate a return to further having finished third in behind the selection last time. Wiggins B has few miles on the clock and he could be capable of better.

Superior Council beat some of these ten days ago but IGNAC LAMAR may reverse placings should this pan out more favourably.
Class & Speed Card

SPHERICAL was thought good enough to contest a Listed race at Newmarket on her final start last season, and this represents a steep drop in grade on her return. The daughter of Blue Point looks capable of improving this year and she is narrowly preferred to the in-form Sugar Hill Babe, who had Glamorous Breeze (third) behind when a creditable second at Lingfield latest.

Top of the list is SUGAR HILL BABE (nap), who has been as good as ever this season and was runner-up behind an improver at Lingfield.
Class & Speed Card

LOVETHISWAYAGAIN progressed from her introduction to finish just over four lengths clear of the third when hitting the woodwork at Redcar last month. The daughter of No Nay Never may only need to reproduce that level of performance in order to get off the mark. Sparkling Pink outran her odds of 40/1 to take the silver medal home at Brighton and she might get into contention. True Test changed hands for 20,000gns as a yearling and warrants a market check on her debut.

This looks LOVETHISWAYAGAIN's to lose, with her comfortably setting the standard on last month's clear Redcar second.
Class & Speed Card

SPARTAN WARRIOR opened his account over timber with a determined victory at Kelso. The four-year-old has plenty of scope for further improvement in this code and a 2lb rise may not be enough to anchor him. Land Girl's Luck looked beaten when left in the lead at Southwell, although she still finished well clear of the rest and another good effort looks likely. Chillhi should be noted reverting to hurdles on only his second start for James Owen's yard.

If the cheekpieces prevent him repeating the stopping error of last time, INDEPENDENT JIMMY (nap) can lead home Spartan Warrior.
Class & Speed Card

DOOMSDAY is an infrequent winner in truth, but Liam Bailey's charge was on target at Musselburgh as recently as April. A first-time tongue-tie, combined with the returning cheekpieces, could help eke out a little extra, and dropping into classified company should aid his cause too. Pinjarra didn't run too badly at Catterick latest and a similar level of performance would give him a chance, while Giselles Izzy is most appealing of the remainder.

The lightly-raced 3yo JACKCHESTER settled better at Carlisle last time and he now has something to build on.
Class & Speed Card

GOLD DAWN shaped with abundant promise on debut over C&D last month when second under Oisin Murphy. With that experience under his belt, the son of Havana Gold can go one better in what looks an easier contest, with Penhallam looking the best placed to chase him home following a strong debut effort at Leicester. Similar comments apply to Eyes Front, who was second at the same track earlier in the month.

The vote goes to GOLD DAWN, who showed plenty of promise with his debut second over C&D last month.
Class & Speed Card

Based on her likeable pedigree, LATYNINA should be capable winning races and has shown ability in both her previous starts. Admittedly, she found much less than obviously expected when she hit the front at Thirsk 15 days ago and proved to be a costly odds-on favourite when she was overhauled by a newcomer towards the finish. However, she is a work in progress and is very likely to be a good deal wiser now. Antalya and I Can Imagine can give her the most to think about.

I Can Imagine may have been flattered here last time but LATYNINA looks the one to beat on either of her efforts to date anyway.
Class & Speed Card

The winner of a race on the level between the flags in April, LORD CAUVELLIERE followed that with a successful debut under Rules at Stratford on his first start for Sheila Lewis. He can defy a penalty with the prospect of more to come. Flying Pimpernel showed ability when second at Fontwell on her introduction and she could have a say in the outcome, while Knolton Park is related to a bumper winner and is a newcomer to note with Sean Bowen on board.

The one who catches the eye most is FLYING PIMPERNEL who was second at Fontwell last month. Lord Cauvelliere looks second best.

A highly creditable third on her return at Doncaster in April, MECCA'S SYMPHONY is entitled to build upon that and a 1lb drop in the weights will make life easier as she looks to break the maiden at the sixth time of asking. Coeur Jaune caught the eye when keeping on from off the pace over 6f at Doncaster recently, and going back up in trip should suit the daughter of Mehmas. A capable sort on his day, Anthropologist cannot be ruled out either in first-time cheekpieces.

With improvement plausible, INVINCIBLE RUBY is particularly interesting. Mecca's Symphony is second pick.

Disappointing having attracted significant market support on his return from a 534-day absence at Leicester, before going under the radar to score at Doncaster latest, a confident vote goes to DUKE'S COMMAND. Mudamer, who hit the crossbar on Town Moor recently, looks to be the main threat, although Eagle Day should not be underestimated if one poor run at York can be forgiven.

Most of these have something to prove but DUKE'S COMMAND won a Doncaster handicap on Sunday and he's open to more progress.

BLUE COLLAR LAD bounced back to form in fine style to win over C&D a fortnight ago and could be well placed to cope with a 7lb higher rating if the blinkers have the same impact second time around. Buy The Dip is a fellow course-and-distance winner that looks a key player on the back of a couple of near misses over a mile at Brighton, while Otago is dangerous to underestimate, given he is a 7f specialist.

Buy The Dip holds decent claims but a chance is taken on DARK SUN, who's low mileage and offered more over C&D last time.

WOOHOO looks to be another sprinter going the right way for the Jim Goldie stable. A respectable second in her bid to land the four-timer at Hamilton last time out, this previous C&D winner should appreciate going back up in trip and she is preferred to The Good Biscuit, who wasn't seen to best effect at Pontefract most recently, but hasn't been with the Ruth Carr stable long. Novak and Opal Storm may also have a say in proceedings.

The Good Biscuit is threatening something bigger but the rapid improver WOOHOO (nap) can resume winning ways.

ARKHALIA FLYNN was steadily progressive last term and there was plenty to like about his recent Goodwood second. The son of Ulysses is able to compete off an unchanged mark but jockey Rose Dawes takes off a handy 5lb, so it would come as no great surprise were he to regain the winning thread. Bodorgan is unlikely to be far away, although the lightly-raced She's A Warrior could be a bigger threat.

An open race in which the vote goes to last year's runner-up BODORGAN, who has been knocking on the door in his two runs this season.

Banksman and DESERT CHARM won their respective divisions of a classified race at Yarmouth last time. The former will likely feature once again, but Mike Murphy's filly was the more impressive winner. She scored with plenty left in the tank and another good account seems assured. Taskheer won at this level on the Polytrack here back in February and could make his presence felt.

The vote goes to DESERT CHARM, who's from a decent family and won with something to spare on her turf debut. Banksman is next best.

Just over a month ago, POMME POMME was successful off an opening handicap mark of 47. The progressive Coulsty filly arrives on the back of three subsequent successes and from a whopping 25lb higher, but she was in command at Bath latest and might not be done improving yet. Ottoman put his best foot forward to record a comfortable victory at Leicester earlier this month and he merits respect, as does Wetherby victor Betty Bassett.

It might be worth sticking with POMME POMME, who made it 4-4 in handicaps when beating a clear second at Beverley last Saturday.

A dual winner on the all-weather, RUSHEEN BOY opened his account on turf when routing the opposition at Yarmouth. He has a hike in the weights to contend with, but an apprentice's 7lb allowance helps on that score, and the four-year-old looks worth sticking with. Brunel Charm has won twice on the Polytrack this year and is likely to prove competitive racing off a much lower mark back on this surface, while Beelzebub is preferred to Brighton winner Silky Robin of the rest.

A number arrive in good form but nothing makes more appeal than BEELZEBUB (nap), who's used to plying his trade in better company.
Ths is the racecard key.
