There were 30 Races on Sunday 29th June 2025 across 4 meetings. There was 7 races at Uttoxeter, 9 races at Curragh, 7 races at Cartmel, 7 races at Ffos Las, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

Recent Leopardstown winner MISSISSIPPI RIVER should prove hard to beat under a mandatory 7lb penalty. Making all to win eased down by four and a quarter lengths, the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt was subsequently hit with a 10lb hike. However, as this race had already closed, he is able to race off 3lb lower and the blinkers which brought about definite improvement have been retained. Shiota, who beat Mississippi River at Naas earlier in the campaign, has every chance at these revised weights. Joseph Murphy's filly followed that up with a victory at this track last time. Its All Peachy could make her presence felt if first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect.

With a clear run in the Britannia THUNDER WONDER would have finished a few places closer and he is selected to come out on top here
Class & Speed Card

Saint Bibiana comfortably won her last two starts and is suggested as a key player, despite going up 6lb for her front-running success at Warwick. Now tried with a first-time tongue-tie/cheekpieces combination, another bold showing is feasible. However, the less-exposed TWIST OF FATECATCH captures the imagination after a near-miss over 2m4f at Ffos Las. Also with cheekpieces added, this longer trip could draw further improvement. Recent C&D winner Roger Pol and Mostly Sunny also make the shortlist.

Most have an each-way chance but the vote goes to ROGER POL ahead of Minella Rescue, Twist Of Fatecatch and Mostly Sunny.
Class & Speed Card

An eyecatching fifth on his stable debut here in May, RETRACEMENT is sure to have been targeted at this meeting. While the Johnny Murtagh-trained gelding raced over 10 furlongs on that occasion, he had winning form over this trip for previous connections. A strong traveller who sees out his races well, the four-year-old is likely to race more prominently over this shorter distance. Slieve Binnian, who didn't enjoy the clearest of passages over C&D last time, should be a leading contender. Although only successful once from 20 starts on turf, the four-time all-weather winner looks more than adept. Chazzesmee and State Actor are sure to have come on from their seasonal reappearances.

Winner of his last two starts, LOVE BILLY BOY is thriving and the return to a mile may help him defy a 6lb rise
Class & Speed Card

Digby won cosily over fences at Bangor before posting another ready success over hurdles at Ballinrobe. However, an 8lb higher rating than for that victory in North Wales demands more and it can pay to side with COCO MADEMOISELLE. A winner over 3m here last month, this additional yardage could bring even more out of the Dan Skelton-trained mare. Hold Your Fort and Stans The Man are other in-form contenders to consider.

Last year's winner HANG IN THERE (nap) brings a nice bit of momentum into his defence and earns preference over Coco Mademoiselle.
Class & Speed Card

GETAWAY FRANKIE landed a novice hurdle at Hexham on her first start for Tristan Davidson's yard. There looks to be more to come and she is taken to defy a penalty. Jolie Coeur Allen returns to novice company with a shout having finished a respectable fifth in a handicap hurdle here last month, while Green Bonnet made a promising debut over timber at Kelso.

Her profile is not entirely convincing but JOLIE COEUR ALLEN should find this easier than the C&D handicap she contested last month.
Class & Speed Card

TENZI showed plenty of encouragement when finishing a close-up third on her debut at Goodwood recently. Ground conditions are likely to differ here, but it shouldn't be an issue and natural improvement ought to suffice. Nathaniel filly Mostly Martha is related to a couple of winners and she warrants a market check, while Lyra Lea is most appealing of the remainder.

As regards the two runners with experience, TENZI sets a respectable standard while Warriors Choice seems likely to improve.
Class & Speed Card

Having endured a nightmare passage when third in the Greenlands Stakes over C&D, the popular BIG GOSSEY can gain some measure of compensation. A real course specialist, the grey has gained all eight career wins on turf at this track. Nicely drawn just one off the stands rail, the Charles O'Brien-trained gelding has leading claims of adding to his impressive CV, providing he gets a bit of luck on this occasion. My Mate Alfie, who finished two places behind Big Gossey here recently, shouldn't be far away. However, he won't find the concession of 2lb easy, given that they raced off level weights last time. British raider Russet Gold has to be respected under Rossa Ryan.

With a background in Group 1 races at two and three, the Classic-placed VESPERTILIO should have the resources to win in this grade.
Class & Speed Card

QUEENSWORTHY was placed to good effect to win a bumper at Southwell before making light work of the opposition in a mares' maiden hurdle at Market Rasen. A 6lb penalty looks very manageable for this progressive mare, who should have few issues with the longer trip. Laravie is feared most on the back of a brace of handicap successes over further, here and at Stratford. Hey Babbs could be best of the rest.

Preference is for QUEENSWORTHY who seems to be coming along nicely. Mohawk Chief is second choice ahead of Laravie.
Class & Speed Card

Imperial Data posted a solid effort in a higher grade here last month. He makes more appeal than Perth winner Go Go Chicago, but CITY DERBY is taken to bounce back to form. Lizzie Quinlan's charge landed a four-timer at the track last summer which included a victory in this race. Now back on a winning mark, he will relish the underfoot conditions and can regain the winning thread.

Topweight IMPERIAL DATA was in good form in the spring and is taken to record his second C&D success.
Class & Speed Card

There are a number of notable handicap debutants, including Camzara, who steps up in trip from a potentially lenient opening mark, and Sea The Stars filly Hatysa, whose dam is a half-sister to Harzand. Recent Lingfield scorer Wondrous Light is worth considering too, but it is TRALEE GIRL who shades preference. Michael Bell's three-year-old completed her hat-trick in fine style at Wolverhampton and a 7lb rise for that success might not be enough to halt further progress.

The selection is TRALEE GIRL who appears to be improving fast and is taken the complete the four-timer.
Class & Speed Card

This looks a nice opportunity for CURRAWOOD to make the breakthrough at black-type level. A dual winner earlier in the season, the Paddy Twomey-trained colt has twice finished runner-up in Listed company subsequently. With his recent Leopardstown conqueror Green Impact holding live claims in the Irish Derby, the form of that particular contest looks strong. British raider Skukuza has to be of interest, despite taking a step up in class. The impressive winner of a premier handicap over C&D recently, Ed Dunlop's colt has the services of Ryan Moore again. In-form duo Joseph Murphy and Gary Carroll hold every chance with the consistent Lord Massusus.

Runner up to Irish Derby candidate Green Impact at Leopardstown, CURRAWOOD (nap) can provide a suitable morale boost
Class & Speed Card

A prolific winner over hurdles, GALE MAHLER was having only her second start over fences when making every yard over 2m here. She should have plenty more to offer in this discipline and another bold bid is anticipated, with the longer distance not a problem. Jaramillo won easily in this grade at Newton Abbot in April and has the scope to rate higher over fences, while Lady Jago represents last year's winning trainer and could also have a say in proceedings.

The mare GALE MAHLER was a prolific winner over hurdles and could enjoy similar success as a chaser after her pleasing win here.
Class & Speed Card

A change of scenery seems to have worked the oracle for DICKENS as he landed a conditional jockeys' race at Hexham on his first start for Jennie Candlish. He not only escapes a penalty for that success, but Luke Scott can now claim 5lb and the gelding could prove hard to stop. Gone In Sixty has been raised 7lb for winning easily at Fakenham and is noted along with Newton Abbot winner Arctic Angel.

Dickens is opposed with ARCTIC ANGEL, who came good with a 3m2f win this month and may use that success as a springboard.
Class & Speed Card

Song Brocade took a clear step forward from her debut effort to finish a creditable second at Lingfield and must be respected, but MEDWAY QUEEN is preferred. The Churchill filly kept on powerfully to fill the runner-up spot over an extended mile at Nottingham on her racecourse bow, and stepping up in trip is likely to suit. Maeva finished fourth in that contest and is another who could benefit from a rise in distance.

Second-place finishers SONG BROCADE and Medway Queen have particularly strong claims. Maeva has possibilities upped in trip.
Class & Speed Card

Entitled to come on from a promising seasonal debut at Navan recently, THUNDERBEAR can take this valuable prize for the Jack Davison yard. A former Group 3 winner, the five-year-old remains a very consistent sort at black-type level, although it is when he reverts to handicap company that he really tends to make his class count against lesser rivals. Drawn in the middle here, jockey James Ryan has the advantage of being able to track the pace wherever it proves to be. Harry's Hill looks a serious threat for the Hassett family. Runner-up at Navan on his return, the gelding was fourth at Tipperary subsequently and should now be approaching his peak form. Keke is another with solid claims.

The Highway Rat beat HARRY'S HILL at Navan last month but the 2023 winner of this race could turn that form around at this venue
Class & Speed Card

SUPREME YEATS was having his first outing since last August when finishing a creditable second at Stratford last month. He separated a couple of subsequent winners on that occasion, so a big run looks on the cards from Dan Skelton's charge. Fitted with a tongue-tie for the first time, Gilbertina found only one too good over these hurdles last time and will be hard to keep out of the frame, while maiden hurdle winner Don Virginia could also go well.

If there's one who could be on a good mark it's DON VIRGINIA who dotted up in a recent maiden.
Class & Speed Card

It could be worth chancing returning Irish raider MIGHTY TOM. Cian Collins' charge finished a respectable fifth in the Galway Hurdle last year and a race of this nature looks well within his compass. Aucunrisque is also noted and would have every chance if coming back to last November's Ascot form, while Come On The Lads represents a shrewd yard and is another to bear in mind.

The suggestion is COME ON THE LADS, who was placed in a competitive Killarney handicap last month.
Class & Speed Card

A major improver for the step up to this trip at Sandown last time out, SYNERGISM is entitled to have plenty more to come and as long he handles potentially softer ground, he can follow up off 4lb higher. Dropping back in distance didn't look the best of moves for Yellow Card at Chester and he should appreciate this stiffer test. Wise Counsellor could be well treated off a mark of 78 on his handicap debut.

Yellow Card is feared but SYNERGISM ate up the ground late in the day to beat Personal Best over 1m6f at Sandown.
Class & Speed Card

The first three home at Epsom renew rivalry and LAMBOURN is taken to again come out on top over Lazy Griff and Tennessee Stud. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt was confirming previous Chester form with the runner-up and is likely to again be ridden prominently with stamina clearly proven. Tennessee Stud kept on well from an unpromising position and could now get closer, while Pride Of Arras reportedly didn't handle the track at Epsom and previously impressed in the Dante at York. Green Impact lost a shoe in the 2000 Guineas, but bounced back to score over 1m1f at Leopardstown and could be a threat to all if staying this trip. Puppet Master won the Lingfield Derby Trial and has scope for further improvement.

Derby winner LAMBOURN should be at least as effective at this galloping track and can uphold form with the horses placed at Epsom
Class & Speed Card

Duke Of Luckley continued his upward trajectory when making a winning seasonal bow at Southwell last month and warrants respect in his bid to complete a four-timer. However, preference is for THIRD TIME LUCKI. Fergal O'Brien's inmate made light work of reopposing runner-up Fringill Dike at Bangor 43 days ago and he's taken to overcome a 9lb rise. Fellow last-time-out winner Doyouknowwhatimean is also of interest.

This is competitive with six of the seven arriving here on the back of positive performances, while don't rule out MALYSTIC.
Class & Speed Card

CHARLIE UBERALLES made light work of the opposition when making all over C&D last month and he's fancied to take this contest for the second year in a row. Although Dianne Sayer's inmate has a career-high mark to overcome, a third track victory looks possible. Tommie Beau is another who rarely runs badly at this venue and he's feared most. Riaan may fare best of the remainder.

This might be best left to SPECIAL RATE (nap), who ran well over 2m1f here last month and will be better suited by today's trip.
Class & Speed Card

ME TARZAN had a couple of subsequent winners behind when scoring comfortably at Lingfield earlier in the month and a 9lb rise for that success may not be enough to prevent James Fanshawe's charge from landing the hat-trick. Runner-up on his last two starts over shorter, Beelzebub is a key player for his in-form stable, as is Ashen, who remains a maiden after six starts but ran with credit at Sandown most recently.

Interesting PRINCESS AMBER (nap) could be well treated even before her rider's claim is taken into account. Me Tarzan is respected.
Class & Speed Card

The 1m2f handicap won by Apercu here last month could prove a significant piece of form, with five of the first seven home in that competitive event renewing rivalry, and SOARING MONARCH gets the vote. He didn't enjoy the clearest of passages in sixth and races off just a 1lb higher mark than when landing a valuable 1m4f Listowel handicap last autumn. Lope Des Lilas was thought good enough to run in the Irish Oaks last year and went close on her only previous handicap start at Cork in April. Beset has done little wrong since joining current connections this term and remains on an attractive mark.

CEALLACH has shaped like his turn was near the last twice and he may be able to get his head in front stepped back up to 1m4f
Class & Speed Card

HOWTH had little difficulty in justifying favouritism at Fakenham at the start of this month and is fancied to maintain his unbeaten record over hurdles. The hat-trick seeking six-year-old makes his handicap bow in this discipline off what looks a workable mark and any improvement could make him tough to beat. Time Interval is also chasing a third successive victory and is feared most, ahead of Bannister.

Open. HOWTH has hit the ground running over hurdles and he was a smart stayer on the Flat, so his mark could be very manageable.
Class & Speed Card

THE KING OF MAY is already a dual course winner and looks worth chancing off a handy mark after a promising return from a break at Hexham 15 days ago. Pilgrims King also warrants close inspection after a respectable third-placed finish over 2m5f here last month, while Jelski is a previous C&D winner who won't need to raise his game by much in order to be involved.

The choice is JELSKI, the only previous C&D winner in the field who should be all the better for last month's reappearance.
Class & Speed Card

With a second and two victories to his name since joining David Loughnane, BEAMING LIGHT may still be ahead of the handicapper. The hat-trick seeking five-year-old looks fairly treated off 5lb higher than his latest triumph at Chepstow and further glory could be imminent. Fellow last-time-out winner Johnjay may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of Lingfield runner-up Yehudi.

Having shown good progress for his new stable, BEAMING LIGHT could well complete a hat-trick. Johnjay is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

Course winner BELLAPHINA gained a third career success over this distance at Fairyhouse last autumn and has shown plenty of promise on both outings this season. She enjoys a sizeable swing at the weights having finished third to Mataariki at Gowran and subsequently didn't enjoy much luck in running at Limerick. Bella Isabella won a Cork maiden over this trip before finishing third in a Leopardstown Group 3 and is an interesting contender on her handicap debut. Murkala and Sweet Chariot are also noted.

Top rated ORCHIDACEAE benefits from the 3yo allowance and was a winner last time. She has a big chance despite a 7lb rise
Class & Speed Card

Pittsburg boasts a better record over fences than hurdles and reverts to the larger obstacles with solid claims in a very winnable race. However, the ground has turned in the favour of ENSEL DU PERCHE, who already boasts a C&D win and could provide a bit of value back at this unique circuit. Jolyjump also warrants close inspection on his stable debut.

Preference is for LERMOOS LEGEND who may appreciate the drop back in trip after finishing second here on Friday.
Class & Speed Card

More aggressive tactics saw Canvas in a better light when opening his account at Doncaster and a 3lb nudge up the ratings shouldn't prevent another bold bid. However, ECHO OF GLORY made all on his handicap bow at Bath with something in hand and the Invincible Army gelding may prove slightly better handicapped off just 6lb higher. Cuban Girl bagged a breakthrough victory at Brighton and is the pick of the remainder.

With further progress on the cards, CUBAN GIRL is taken to follow up her Brighton win. Canvas is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

La Vita Nova filled the runner-up spot over 1m6f here last month with COMMON PRACTICE just over a length behind in third and Brosna Town close up in fourth. The Joseph O'Brien-trained gelding has been mainly campaigned over jumps in the past few years and is now fitted with blinkers for the first time after finishing strongly on that latest start. Nans View progressed well last year winning twice on soft ground and now tries this trip for the first time after staying on well into second over 1m6f at Navan earlier this month. Jabbar is another to bear in mind.

It could pay to take a chance with TOO BOSSY FOR US, whose two runs for Willie Mullins have been in Grade 1 hurdles
Ths is the racecard key.
