(3) Anglo Saxson 2/1, Off 8 months but gained her third C&D win in 7-runner handicap 21 days ago, driven clear. Not taken lightly despite 3 lb rise.

(5) Revolutionary Man 5/1, Latest win at Lingfield in May. Good second of 7 in handicap (5/2) at Lingfield (7f, good to firm) 15 days ago, though outbattled by Free Step3. Must enter calculations.
Better on the AW but lost out only by a head off his lower turf mark last month.
LTO Selection:

13:50 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A winner of three of his last five starts over C&D, including last time out, ANGLO SAXSON could be the one to beat once more off a mark that is still 13lb below his career-high rating. Only a head separated Free Step (first) and Revolutionary Man (second) when they met over C&D last month and it is the latter who is taken to come out on top this time around.

FREE STEP made light of a 6-month lay-off when making a winning debut for Harry Eustace over C&D and can take another step forward now to follow up off a 2 lb higher mark. Anglo Saxson also arrives on the back of a recent C&D success and is feared most, although in-form pair Swing To The Stars and Revolutionary Man can both have a say too in a very open handicap.

Most are in good form but low-mileage 4yo SWING TO THE STARS is seemingly the one with most potential and she gets the vote.

Easy winner of weak Huntingdon race last month; only up 3lb.

(2) Wildfire Warrior 12/1, Winning hurdler but has made very little impact over fences to date, still yet to convince with his jumping in this sphere. Tongue strap applied but he's hard to fancy.

LTO Selection:

14:00 Newton Abbot Handicap Chase (Class 5) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HENERYETTA BAY relished the step up in trip to land her first victory over fences at Huntingdon last month. The Warren Greatrex-trained mare kept on well and may be able to follow up off 3lb higher with the in-form Sean Bowen taking the ride. Tommydan comfortably dismissed his rivals when stepped up to 3m over hurdles earlier this month and he is a big player off 5lb lower over the larger obstacles. Sharp Note is another to consider stepping up markedly in distance.

HENERYETTA BAY has made an encouraging start to her chasing career, and whilst evidently not the most straightforward, she should take all the beating again in a race that appears to lack depth. Tommydan won over hurdles at Southwell last week and is the obvious threat from his lower chase mark.

After last week's hurdle win, TOMMYDAN is the likeliest winner if all goes well.

Easy win at Thirsk last Monday and could be tough to beat under a 5lb penalty.

Swift Tuttle

3.5/1(+46%)
(3) Swift Tuttle 3.5/1, Showed benefit of reappearance outing when good second of 7 in handicap (50/1) at this course (11.8f, good to firm) 18 days ago, albeit had run of race. Just 1 lb higher now and ought to go well again.
Went close over C&D last month and holds strong claims if repeating that latest form.
LTO Selection:

14:10 Haydock Handicap (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Only narrowly denied over a fractionally shorter trip last month, a 1lb raised mark looks unlikely to stop Swift Tuttle from producing another bold bid, but it could pay to side with BOLLIN MARGARET. Tim Easterby's inmate steps up in class following a six-length success at Thirsk earlier this month, and Brandon Wilkie negates most of the mare's 5lb penalty courtesy of his 3lb claim in the saddle. Wynter Wildes completes the shortlist.

BOLLIN MARGARET resumed winning ways in eye-catching fashion at Thirsk last week and remains very well treated, despite her 5 lb penalty. She can go in again. Monday's Pontefract winner C'mon Kenny rates the principal danger.

The mare BOLLIN MARGARET (nap) was an easy winner at Thirsk last Monday and can defy a 5lb penalty. Swift Tuttle is feared most.

4 wins over sprint trips; big step up in trip today but stamina on dam's side of pedigree.
LTO Selection:

14:20 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DIAMONDONTHEHILL looks to have improved with each start this season and conditions may well be ideal for him to strike for the first time since Redcar last August. He gets the vote ahead of the likes of Newmarket runner-up Fantasy Believer, and Antiphon, who has the potential to improve for this marked step up in trip. Lion's Dream is another to consider on his turf debut.

FANTASY BELIEVER was a two-time scorer in 2022 and signalled he is ready to go in again when an excellent second at Newmarket last time out so gets the vote. Goddess Of Fire didn't enjoy the rub of the green when only seventh over C&D and this three-time C&D scorer can bounce back. In-form pair One For The Frog and Diamondonthehill both need factoring in too.

Antiphon is interesting on this step up in trip but FANTASY BELIEVER looked ready to strike when second at Newmarket last month.

LTO Selection:

14:30 Newton Abbot Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MAGICAL MAGGIE made it five wins from nine starts on her latest outing with a third success over obstacles at Cartmel last month. The Alastair Ralph-trained mare kept on well to put two lengths between herself and her nearest rival that day and she can take another step forward off 2lb higher. Komedy Kicks has been a consistent customer this term looks the most immediate danger with Harry Cobden returning to ride, while Tibbie Dunbar can follow them home.

A case can be made for all of the quartet but Alastair Ralph's improving MAGICAL MAGGIE made a winning start in handicaps at Cartmel last time and can bag a fourth hurdling success off just a 2 lb higher mark. Komedy Kicks is thriving under the tutelage of Milton Harris and rates a big threat.

With a good pace likely, the reliable MAGICAL MAGGIE can win again.

LTO Selection:

14:40 Haydock Stakes (Class 2) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A half-sister to last year's King George winner Pyledriver, SHAGPYLE looked smart when running away with an Ascot maiden over 1m2f on her racecourse debut last month. A stiffer stamina test shouldn't pose any problems for her, especially given her dam is a half-sister to 1m4f Group 1 winner Mount Ormel. Truthful was a game winner at Salisbury over 1m2f last month and William Haggas' 120,000gns purchase cannot be taken lightly, while the unraced Fifth Harmonic adds further spice to the race.

Half-sister to high-class winner Pyledriver, SHAGPYLE looked a potentially smart prospect herself when overcoming the run of the race to make a winning debut at Ascot last month, finishing strongly, so she can make it 2 from 2 as she goes up in trip. Truthful also made a winning start and isn't taken lightly, while Montevideo can give another good account.

Pedigree ensured SHAGPYLE was high profile at Ascot last month and that debut did not disappoint. This looks a strong field.

14:50 Yarmouth Maiden (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

A chance is taken on the well-bred newcomer FULL REGALIA, who is a half-sister to first-time-out winner Audience and hails from a stable which has unleashed a few smart ones at this track in the past. Crowning ran an encouraging race on her debut at Newmarket last October and she is open to improvement, as well as Heavenly Wish and Little Hug, who wasn't beaten far over C&D last month.

CROWNING showed plenty of ability on her Newmarket debut last backend and gets the vote with improvement likely. The main threat may come from newcomers, with Gosden stable pair Berthe Morisot and Full Regalia obvious types, while Nannie Dee and Hard Act To Follow also have something to recommend them on paper.

Perhaps the answer will be LITTLE HUG, who made a very encouraging seasonal debut over C&D six weeks ago.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MYRISTICA was a useful performer on the Flat and has transferred that ability to hurdling, brushing aside her rivals at Southwell last month. The David Pipe-trained five-year-old could have more to offer and gets the nod to continue her ascendancy under a penalty. Tique shed the maiden tag by claiming a bumper at Bangor-on-Dee last time out and she must be respected with an age allowance on her hurdling bow. The others need to step up markedly and Jacktot is the pick of them.

MYRISTICA had any amount in hand when opening her hurdles account at Southwell last month and can follow up. Bangor bumper winner Tique could provide the biggest threat if taking to this discipline.

Having taken well to hurdles, MYRISTICA can gain a second success.

15:15 Haydock Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The vote goes to ACTION PLAN. The son of Soldier's Call is fairly well related and his granddam was a half-sister to multiple Group 1 winner Muhaarar, as well as being Listed-placed herself. Karl Burke's inmate is taken to get the better of 130,000gns purchase Lake Forest who, as a half-brother to seven winners including Listed winner Lady Of Kyushu, can give the selection plenty to think about. Watcha Matey finished a fair fourth over this trip at Chester last month and is another to note.

Plenty of interesting newcomers on paper, with Karl Burke's Soldier's Call colt ACTION PLAN perhaps most appealing of them all. The yard have already notched seven juvenile debut winners this season, whilst his speedy sire is already into double figures for the number of winners sired in his freshman season. Watcha Matey, the only runner with prior experience, sets a reasonable standard after a promising debut. Lake Forest perhaps make most appeal of the remainder.

It would be no surprise if this went to a newcomer but WATCHA MATEY raced widest for most of the way on his debut at Chester.

LTO Selection:

15:25 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 4) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Terrimia takes a significant drop in class for her seasonal/handicap debut and is respected despite the 306-day absence. Connections opt to try her in a hood and strong support in the betting will be difficult to ignore. However, Redcar winner SPARKLING RED has proven match-fitness and looks likely to make another bold bid with Oisin Murphy now in the saddle. Newbury scorer Champagne Sarah is risky under a penalty, so The Thames Boatman looks the one for third.

CHAMPAGNE SARAH upped her game to score with something in hand at Newbury recently and she boasts leading claims under a penalty. Fellow last-time-out winner Sparkling Red looks the main danger, although The Thames Boatman arrives on the back of an encouraging performance.

Placed off today's mark in a competitive, 18-runner race at York last month, THE THAMES BOATMAN is the suggestion.

15:40 Newton Abbot Handicap Chase (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

LIGHT N STRIKE has benefitted from a recent return to chasing and an 8lb rise for his comfortable success at Warwick last time may not be enough to prevent Emma Lavelle's seven-year-old from going in again. Noahthirtytwored will need to put last month's fall at Southwell behind him, nevertheless, he looks capable of more over fences and isn't taken lightly. Last-time-out winner Elios D'Or completes the shortlist.

LIGHT N STRIKE built on the promise of his previous run when scoring in good style at Warwick last month, taking his record to 4 wins from 10 completed outings over fences, and the 7-y-o can continue to go the right way as a chaser. He is taken to get the better of Magic Saint who can go well in first-time blinkers, while Noahthirtytwored also merits consideration.

A rise in class might not stop NOAHTHIRTYTWORED gaining a second chasing success.

15:50 Haydock Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

With several well-bred newcomers being introduced, this looks an above-average contest. Macanudo appeals given his dam was placed in a Listed race over this trip and he runs for an in-form yard. Charlie Johnston's pair Paladin and Quintus Maximus also have lots to offer on paper and warrant a second look. However, STATE OF DESIRE strikes as the pick of two Godolphin-owned contenders and this son of Frankel, who cost 400,000gns as a yearling, has a valuable edge in terms of experience following his introductory Yarmouth third.

Despite being well supported STATE OF DESIRE shaped as if he'd come on plenty for his debut effort at Yarmouth 21 days ago and, representing a top yard, he could be worth chancing to build on that now. There are a host of interesting newcomers in opposition, including Serenity Dream and By The Book, both of who demand market attention. Phone Tag, who caught the eye himself on debut at Newbury is another to note.

State Of Desire and Phone Tag showed debut promise without living up to market expectations. MACANUDO is a notable newcomer.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The penalised Gilbert (winner) posted his best effort for a while when he fended off GEARING'S POINT (third) by two necks in a driving finish at Windsor nine days ago, but the revised terms give the latter a solid chance of reversing the form. The selection has done well on all three starts since joining Sheena West and, with her stamina now proven, a second career success is a very feasible outcome. Persian Wolf and Lailah look the pick of the remainder.

Having made a winning seasonal/stable debut, GEARING'S POINT has run well on both starts since and was probably unlucky not to win when third at Windsor last time, denied a run on more than one occasion. She can reverse the form with Gilbert from when the pair met 9 days ago, with Persian Wolf the pick of the remainder.

Gilbert won at Windsor nine days ago but GEARING'S POINT (nap) was only two necks away in third, having been denied a clear run.

OPENING BID confirmed the promise of his penultimate runner-up effort at Exeter when battling back to record a break-through success over fences at Worcester last month and Chris Down's gelding looks fairly treated off only 4lb higher. Princess Midnight posted a solid second on her return to action at Stratford in May and cannot be discounted off the same mark here, while connections of Duke Of Luckley reach for a first-time visor and he also enters calculations.

PRINCESS MIDNIGHT is a very likeable mare who's much more consistent than most at this level and should enjoy another profitable summer after making an encouraging return at Stratford. She shades the vote over the in-form Opening Bid.

16:20 Haydock Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RENESMEE has shown both versatility and consistency in her four previous starts and has a lot going for her off a workable mark. Reverting to turf shouldn't present much of an issue given she was a very close third in a novice at Ascot last autumn and she rates a solid option in her bid to break her maiden. Ararat also has scope and is feared most, while Drafted and The Toff are also considered.

Plenty are in with a shout but THE TOFF looks the way to go given he can race off the same mark as when an excellent recent C&D third (form franked). Doncaster third Drafted is feared most now the cheekpieces go back on with Seagrave Fox, Concert Boy and Renesmee completing the shortlist.

Drafted in the returning cheekpieces is second on the list to ARARAT who made a promising return at Newmarket over 6f.

16:30 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

REBECCA WEST ran her best race to date when third in a Brighton maiden last month and the filly may have been let in lightly on her handicap debut. Seraphia offered more to work with after finishing third in a first-time visor at Leicester last month and she shouldn't be far away. Don't What Me Boy may find improvement now faced with a stiffer test and shouldn't be underestimated.

TIME IN MOTION is very interesting upped in trip for her handicap debut. Seraphia ran well with the visor fitted at Leicester and looks poised for another big effort.

Rebecca West has potential but preference is for SERAPHIA, who posted a sound effort when placed in a visor at Leicester.

LTO Selection:

16:40 Newton Abbot Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Urabamba warrants a second look in a contest lacking depth, but MUTUAL RESPECT kept on for second over 2m at Uttoxeter last month and gets the vote. Even though he remains a maiden after 15 hurdle starts, he shaped as though he can progress further off the same mark as last time. Kolisi is another to consider following a distant second at Market Rasen earlier this month.

KOLISI showed the benefit of a breathing operation when second at Market Rasen on return recently and he's fancied to go one better in a thin race. Mutual Respect is the obvious danger and Sassified is likely to get involved if strong in the betting.

If cheekpieces offer some help, ALKHATTAAF can do much better than when sixth at Huntingdon last month.

LTO Selection:

16:50 Haydock Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In this competitive contest marginal preference is for the Sir Michael Stoute-trained filly REGAL FANFARE. The three-year-old was by no means disgraced when third in testing conditions at Nottingham last time out and the sister to the Group 3-winning Regal Encore is taken to appreciate this sounder surface. Chorus Line shed the maiden tag at Leicester on her latest outing and she demands the utmost respect off 3lb higher. Alice Knyvet also makes some appeal.

Possibly best to narrow this down to the 3-y-os. CHORUS LINE did well to get up over 7f at Leicester last month and can make light of a 3 lb rise with the step up to 1m likely to suit her. Well-bred pair Alice Knyvet and Regal Fanfare appeal as probable improvers now handicapping and may give the selection most to think about.

An interesting field may be headed by CHORUS LINE, Five Towns and Scotch Mistress who all caught the eye late on last time out.

LTO Selection:

17:00 Yarmouth Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Lilkian switches to the turf off a 10lb lower mark, nevertheless, Darryll Holland's six-year-old has yet to place in five attempts in this sphere and may prove worth taking on. PORFIN is now 6lb below his third-placed finish at Brighton in April and he could be worth chancing, with Oisin Murphy an eye-catching jockey booking. Andromedas Kingdom is a viable alternative if breaking better as she didn't run too badly on her reappearance at Thirsk.

PORFIN ran respectably at Lingfield last time and has Oisin Murphy taking over from an inexperienced rider, so he's worth chancing in a thin race. Tomshalfbrother is one to be interested in and Lilkian shouldn't be dismissed from his lower turf mark.

Several possibles but LILKIAN hasn't had many chances on fast turf and may be able to exploit his lower mark in this sphere.

17:05 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Narrowly denied on his handicap debut over C&D last August, KING OF THE DANCE can make a successful return to action for his in-form connections. That may be at the main expense of Covert Mission and Micks Dream, who has been runner-up on his last two starts at Brighton. Completing the shortlist are the likes of Hiromichi, Masqool and Snapcracklepop.

SNAPCRACKLEPOP appeals as being on a handy mark judged on the pick of last season's exploits and, having run with credit in a stronger race on turf latest, he could be worth siding with to come out on top now enlisted with first-time blinkers. Covert Mission back on AW, low-mileage King of The Dance and Masqool are others worth a look.

A tough opener. SNAPCRACKLEPOP could be running into form and this test promises to suit.

17:10 Newton Abbot NH Flat Race (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A facile winner over C&D earlier this month, when trained by Nigel Twiston-Davies, CORPORAL JACKJONES remains open to progression on his debut for Syd Hosie. He has to shoulder a 7lb penalty for that success, but the fact Beau Morgan negates all of that with his claim makes the son of Milan of interest. Six And Out sports a first-time tongue-tie following a decent second at Wincanton last November and shades the danger vote from Buck Of Maine, who is taken to build on a fair third at Plumpton most recently.

Unless the betting speaks in the favour of one of the Christian Williams newcomers this may develop into a straight fight between SIX AND OUT and Buck of Maine, with the former selected to make it third time lucky after a pair of promising runner-up efforts.

The form of SIX AND OUT's two runs entitle him to make it third-time lucky.

LTO Selection:

17:20 Haydock Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Coverdale arrives on the hunt for a third successive win and demands the utmost respect off only 2lb higher than his latest success at Nottingham. The son of Expert Eye has a question to answer on this quicker surface, though, and preference is for GREEK ORDER. The son of Kingman is a brother to Group 3 winner Sangarius and gets the nod to build on his first career win at Sandown now stepping up in trip. Feel The Need was denied a clear run at York last time out and may take a step forward.

COVERDALE improved further to score with a bit in hand at Nottingham and he's preferred to the well-bred Greek Order, who is also going the right way. Playactor should benefit from the return to a more conventional track (below form at Chester last time), so he's not one to discount.

Juddmonte-owned GREEK ORDER is preferred to the hat-trick seeking Coverdale and those two dominate calculations.

LTO Selection:

17:30 Limerick Claimer 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The highest rated runner in the line-up, MAGNETIC NORTH is the one to beat. A six-time winner, he was successful on his penultimate start at Leopardstown, finishing eighth of 15 when turned out again quickly at Roscommon. In here for 10,000 euros, he will carry just nine stone one with Adam Caffrey claiming 5lb. With a claiming price of 12,000 euros, Bringsty is given second preference. Already a dual winner this season, Colin Keane has been booked to partner the James McAuley-trained five-year-old. McAuley, who has an excellent record in claimers, also saddles Sandyman. A three-time winner when trained in the UK, he finished an encouraging sixth of 18 at Navan on his most recent start. All Ways And Ever might be able to make an impact in first time cheekpieces, while it'll be interesting to see how Carlton Gardens fares. Bought for 150,000 pounds as a yearling and a half-brother to 2011 Irish St Leger runner-up Agent Murphy, he has been ultimately disappointing to date.

MAGNETIC NORTH wasn't at his best at Roscommon but had previously impressed when landing a big-field handicap at Leopardstown in May and, eased in class, it's feasible to see him bouncing back. Bringsty arrives in form and is feared under Colin Keane. Sandyman and Danza Della Luna complete the shortlist.

Though not a frequent winner in recent seasons MAGNETIC NORTH retains enough ability to merit selection here

17:40 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LA ISLA MUJERES had Tarraff (fourth) behind when third at Salisbury last month and she is taken to uphold that form as well as improve for the step up in trip. Moogie carries a 5lb penalty for a taking debut success at Newcastle, while Deep Dive looks the pick of the newcomers for a stable that can do little wrong at present.

MOOGIE created a good impression when seeing off a next-time-out winner with a bit to spare on debut at Newcastle 6 weeks ago and, with the prospect of more to come, she's fancied to make a bold bid to follow up under a penalty. La Isla Mujeres improved on her sole 2-y-o start when third on return at Salisbury and is feared, with Coco Royale and Deep Dive both worthy of note starting out for leading yards.

It was encouraging to see MOOGIE come through to win on debut given her yard's newcomers tend to improve. She's worth sticking with.

17:50 Hamilton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

HURT YOU NEVER continued the fine form of Adrian Nicholls' yard when completing a double a Leicester last Tuesday and she's hard to oppose off only 3lb higher here. Giselles Izzy also looks capable of picking up a race soon based on current form and is feared most. Beast Of Burden proved a different proposition when successful on her handicap debut at Newcastle last month and completes the shortlist off 6lb more.

A few with chances but HURT YOU NEVER scored easily at Leicester only eight days ago and is impossible to oppose off just a 3 lb higher mark. Jackmeister Rudi wasn't seen to best effect when sixth at Wolverhampton last time and appeals as the one to chase home the hat-trick seeker. Ripon runner-up Giselles Izzy can emerge as the best of the rest for place purposes.

Back down to a 0-55 and with trip/ground fine, HURT YOU NEVER can complete the hat-trick, ahead of Fristel and Beast Of Burden.

18:00 Limerick Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GREY FABLE appeared to enjoy himself out in front at Roscommon and while he ultimately couldn't hold off the progressive Whisky On The Hill, he might be able to get an all-important win to his name now. In what looks a wide-open contest, a case can be made for many others. Pinot Gris finished just two lengths behind the selection at Roscommon, on what was his handicap debut. The Gavin Cromwell-trained gelding is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time now and it won't come as much of a surprise if he manages to reverse the form. Jessica Harrington saddles Youcrackmeup and Duke Of Vienna (first time cheekpieces) and they both warrant respect, with the former bidding to follow-up on a Roscommon win. Alazne has some solid form to her name and is likely to go close, while Gowran runner-up Hialeah is another for the shortlist.

YOUCRACKMEUP made the perfect start in handicaps when digging deep to score at Roscommon and can go on improving. She can win again, with Grey Fable and Al Sayah a couple that are feared.

Following a much-improved performance at Roscommon GREY FABLE can open his account by upholding form with Pinot Gris

18:10 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GRAND PROVIDENCE hasn't helped herself by starting slowly on both of her outings this season but, if breaking on terms here, she could prove a tough nut to crack. Flowers improved from first to second start when fourth at Windsor last month and is likely to be thereabouts, along with stablemate Lady Boba and newcomer Dorothea Brooke, who is one to note for market support.

Andrew Balding's Nathaniel filly GRAND PROVIDENCE has gone with some promise on both her runs to date and can open her account here at the chief expense of newcomer Teowings, who represents the powerful Gosden team. Ralph Beckett also saddles two much respected runners in the shape of Flowers and Lady Boba who can fight it out for minor honours.

The Kublers' LOWICK caught the eye in a valuable Goodwood novice, very much shaping as if she'd be a different proposition second time.

LTO Selection:

18:20 Hamilton Maiden (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SCOOPS AHOY sets a high standard on last month's runner-up effort at Beverley and a first career success looks on the cards. Petra Celera was green on her debut at Carlisle at the start of the month and that experience may enable an improved performance here. However, Blue Moon Baby boasts a nice pedigree and may emerge as a bigger threat.

SCOOPS AHOY has acquitted himself well in both outings to date and has been found a good opportunity to open his account here. He can take full advantage. Newcomers Blue Moon Baby and Riverview Law may provide the main threat.

The David O'Meara-trained SCOOPS AHOY has by far the best form and is taken to get off the mark. Petra Celera is second choice.

LTO Selection:

18:30 Limerick Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Of the five barrier trials run over 6f at Naas on May 29th, SNELLEN posted the fastest time when making all in her heat. The Gavin Cromwell-trained bay led home Mythology and he since ran a fine race to finish third on his official debut at the Curragh. The selection is upped in trip now to 7f and with very little form to go on, she looks the safest option. Relentless Flyer and Ameilya are two others that gained valuable experience at Naas, both finishing third in their respective trials. Joseph O'Brien trains the former and also saddles Sun Never Sets. The aforementioned trio all warrant respect, while the Jessica Harrington-trained Ennereilly is another leading hope. Owned by Kevin Prendergast and Jackie Bolger, Profit Refused is an interesting contender and is given second preference. She is out of a half-sister to Rebel's Romance, winner of the Breeders' Cup Turf at Keeneland in November.

The market can reveal plenty but Joseph O'Brien has his string in good nick so debutante SUN NEVER SETS is taken to edge out her fellow unraced stable-mate Relentless Flyer. Ennereilly and Veracidad are two other newcomers who warrant respect.

Looking good when winning a recent barrier trial in a quick time SNELLEN could be hard to beat here

18:40 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

IKKARI found only a progressive rival too strong on her return from a wind procedure at Wolverhampton last month and she could shrug off a 2lb rise to gain a career first success here. Hello Me posted an improved bid when runner-up at Nottingham last Wednesday and the five-year-old cannot be discounted with a first-time visor now enlisted. Roshambo is only 2lb higher than her last triumph and completes the shortlist.

HELLO ME performed with credit when runner-up at Nottingham 7 days ago and off the same mark she could be ready to strike equipped with a first-time visor. Roshambo ran well despite another tardy start at Southwell and rates a danger, whilst Four Adaay is also a danger back on all-weather.

The vote goes to FOUR ADAAY who is 3-6 on the AW and proved her effectiveness here when winning over C&D last month.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

GRACES QUEST struggled at a higher level here recently, nevertheless, Jim Goldie's mare drops in class off 4lb lower and a bold bid can be anticipated. Fifty Sent lost little in defeat when runner-up at Ayr earlier in the month and enters calculations off the same mark. Three-time course winner Hot Team clearly likes this venue and also warrants consideration in his current fettle.

FIFTY SENT can enhance his good start to the season by adding to last month's Newcastle success. Recent course scorer Hot Team retains handicapping scope on last year's form and is second choice ahead of Lochnaver, who was better than the result last time and is back on a workable mark.

The only confirmed pacesetter, LOCHNAVER could account for stablemate Graces Quest if suited by the return of the hood.

19:00 Limerick Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CNODIAN was twice runner-up at the Curragh at the back-end of last season and shaped well over 6f at that venue last week. Denied a clear run when trying to mount her challenge, she would have finished a good bit closer than eighth with a smoother passage and won this race a year ago. One For Mum has gone close on her last two runs including when beaten fractions in third at Fairyhouse. She's a prominent racer and the draw has been kind to her. Linger For Longer was placed over 5f in April and bumped into an unexposed three-year-old when second over 7f at Listowel last time. She's still looking for a first win after 15 starts but is another that has to enter calculations.

CNODIAN shaped quite a bit better than her eighth of 21 at the Curragh a week ago might suggest as she was stuck with nowhere to go until it was all too late. She races off 3 lb lower here and looks worth chancing. One For Mum went close in a 3-y-o only handicap at Fairyhouse last time and is second choice for the Ger Lyons/Colin Keane partnership. Linger For Longer and Cherry Bloom complete the shortlist.

Recent Fairyhouse winner CHERRY BLOOM is taken to follow up from a good draw in a race which could have plenty of pace on

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TAWALLA was value for more when gaining a break-through success in a maiden at Ripon last month and his opening mark looks workable. Grenham Bay wasn't disgraced from an uncompromising position at Leicester recently and this C&D winner is feared most now switched to the Polytrack. Harry's Halo was progressive last year and can't be taken lightly on his all-weather debut, despite racing off a 6lb higher mark than his Doncaster success in November.

A back-to-back winner on AW/turf this spring, GRENHAM BAY seemed unsuited by the emphasis on speed when midfield in a 10-runner Leicester handicap on his latest start 16 days ago. Appealing as still being on a handy mark, he gets the nod to come out on top returned to all weather from a handy draw. Low-mileage pair Dubai Dawn and Tawalla head up the dangers.

Dubai Dawn is feared but GRENHAM BAY (nap) has strong form and they just didn't come back to him at Leicester last time.

LTO Selection:

19:20 Hamilton Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

NORTHERN SPIRIT has been consistent this term, notching up two wins from his four outings, and the Brian Ellison-trained three-year-old can take another step forward in this contest. Despite finding trouble in-running, he ran on well to land the spoils in the closing stages at Newcastle last month and gets the nod to defy a 4lb rise. Storm Venture hit the line with plenty of conviction on his last two outings over the minimum trip and this step back up in distance may suit, while American Affair can follow them home.

If NORTHERN SPIRIT can translate his AW form to the turf he might still be handicapped to win again. This is less competitive than the race American Affair contested on his York handicap debut and Jim Goldie's charge is second choice ahead of the returning Storm Venture.

Having faded late on when sixth of 14 over 7f at York on his handicap debut, AMERICAN AFFAIR earns the vote now back down in trip.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Colin Keane will be riding some of Jessica Harrington's Royal Ascot runners next week and takes the mount on LAN CINNTE for the in-form handler. Pipped in a sprint maiden at Navan last term, the Saxon Warrior filly got this trip well when again finding only one too good at Naas last month and can get off the mark at the fourth attempt. Livio Milo was beaten less than a length over a furlong shorter at Gowran before chasing home an 89-rated colt over this trip at Listowel. His trainer switches back to using cheekpieces on him rather than the visor sported last time. Dutch Gold was second to the smart Salt Lake City as a two-year-old and was denied racing room when fifth on seasonal debut at Cork. That race hasn't worked out, though, and he looks held by Livio Milo on his disappointing fifth when favourite at Gowran. He should, at least, be suited by stepping back up to a mile.

This can go to LAN CINNTE, who made a pleasing reappearance at Naas last month and remains low mileage. Livio Milo and City Exile head the list of dangers.

The recent Naas second of LA CINNTE (nap) has been franked since and she looks the one to beat

(1) Whispering Song 7.5/1, 15/2, career best when winning 9-runner novice at Chelmsford (7f) in November. Off 7 months. This lightly-raced sort should have more to offer in handicaps this year. Very interesting to see how she goes in the betting.

WHISPERING SONG proved a different proposition when dropped to this distance at Chelmsford in November and she could prove tough to beat if resuming in the same form on her handicap debut. Shigar arrives in better heart than most and could emerge as the chief threat if dictating the pace, while Tiempo Star remains unbeaten on the all-weather in two appearances and shouldn't be underestimated.

This is competitive. MAKEEN very much caught the eye at Newmarket last time and gets the vote but there are plenty of possible dangers, headed by Zero Carbon, Tiempo Star and Shigar, who all boast good form on AW so could appreciate the return to an artificial surface. It will also be fascinating to see how much strength there is in the betting behind the returning lightly-raced novice winner Whispering Song.

Blue Flame should fare better back at 7f but BILLY MILL looked ready to strike here last month and gets the nod.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ABERAMA GOLD got back to winning ways on his latest outing at Wolverhampton, comfortably getting the better of seven rivals. The six-year-old could be on the premises yet again with a reproduction of that effort and he gets the tentative vote under a penalty. Vince Lombardi recorded a career best when decisively beating Iris Dancer (second) over C&D last month and he must be respected. Water Of Leith failed to fire last time out in similar company but may be able to bounce back off 1lb lower.

ABERAMA GOLD had plenty in hand when resuming winning ways at Wolverhampton last week and can follow up. Pearle d'Or and Vince Lombardi are feared most.

Resurgent in the hood last time, PEARLE D'OR may prove the answer barring a ruinous pace battle. Aberama Gold is feared most.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Limerick Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SPANISH TENOR is edging closer to a seventh career victory and can gain his second win over C&D. All of his wins have come with an ease in the ground but he chased home an unexposed rival on good ground at Gowran and had previously confirmed his liking for this venue when third to the highly progressive Dunum in April. Navagio won a Curragh maiden for Johnny Murtagh last summer and has twice been beaten less than a length this term. Ray Cody now adds a set of cheekpieces and the four-year-old goes well for Dylan Browne McMonagle. Eclat De Lumiere hasn't been getting home over 1m2f and the 7f maiden winner may fare better coming back to this distance. Play It Again Zaam is another who should appreciate dropping back to mile and the sole three-year-old in the line-up is not without a chance off a feather weight.

NAVAGIO went like the best horse at the weights when runner-up at Naas last month so looks ready to strike off 1 lb lower. The useful Cordouan remains low mileage for his age so must be respected back on turf, while Spanish Tenor should be in the mix again.

Runner-up at Naas last month, NAVAGIO does not need to improve much in order to win a handicap of this standard.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MEISTERZINGER, who won a couple classified events here earlier in the year, is highly respected in this company and heads the shortlist having run with credit in a handicap off this mark three weeks ago. Tawtheef also posted a solid effort when last tried here and could make the frame, while Alice Kitty looks worth another try at this trip and also enters calculations.

IMPERIAL CULT produced an improved display on his only run for Mark Pattinson and, if he can take another step forward, he may well be able to open his account. Platinum Prince is a big player if things drop right and Meisterzinger can't be ruled out.

It is hard to rule out many of these but MEISTERZINGER has conditions to suit and gets the tentative vote.

Yaahobby has finished off his races well the last twice and will need a strong pace to aim at to be seen to best effect over this distance, while Newyorkstateofmind has dropped 2lb below his last winning mark.

Preference is for NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND, who has dropped to a handy mark and bounced back to form at Thirsk last week. Refuge may provide the chief threat.

Four-time C&D winner REFUGE (nap) ran another good race here when third last time out and the first two have both won since.

20:30 Limerick Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The latest of three wins achieved by MONZOON was twenty months ago but he drops in class and runs this track well. Ross O'Sullivan's topweight was twice second over C&D last year and showed up well for a long way on his reappearance at the Curragh. This will be his first time to run in a 45-70 handicap since winning one at headquarters in 2021. On recent form Kodiac Prince is the one to beat. The three-time winner has returned to something like his best of late with placed efforts at Gowran and Killarney and his prospects will be better if the ground eases either by watering or showers. Breezy Zoff got a big hike after making the breakthrough at the Curragh at the back-end of last season. Although no better than ninth, she hasn't been beaten far in three outings this term and is edging back down the ratings.

KODIAC PRINCE found only one too good at Killarney a month ago and he's worth a chance to go one better. Miss Abby Jools looks the main threat and Bobby K could make his presence felt if ready to go.

Top-weight MONZOON drops in grade and is worth taking a chance on with ground conditions in his favour

20:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DEVIZES returns to a synthetic surface with a sound chance of carrying top weight to victory. He's been placed over C&D before and, given that a number of tonight's rivals are hardly noted for consistency, it would come as no surprise to see him put this lot to sword. Where's Tom and Daaris head the list of dangers, although La Belle Vie should not be underestimated.

DEVIZES beat a subsequent winner on his last visit to this track and, if he's able to get the lead from a wide draw, he could prove hard to pass. Sophar Sogood looks interesting back up in trip and Where's Tom is likely to be on the premises once again.

It may be worth siding with DAARIS who has shaped like a stayer and could well improve for this greater test of stamina.

21:00 Hamilton Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MAKALU bounced back to winning ways with a determined success at Redcar last time out and the four-year-old merits plenty of respect here. He can get the better of the capable My Honey B and Chinese Spirit, who bounced back to form with a narrow defeat at Musselburgh last time out. C&D winner Cosa Sara is another that could have a say in proceedings.

It could be worth chancing MI CAPRICHO, who has dropped to a handy mark and may get things his own way up front here. Recent Redcar winner Makalu is feared most.

Having been in good form this season, MAKALU deservedly returned to winning ways at Redcar a fortnight ago and is taken to follow up.
