LTO Selection:

14:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Yorkindness is likely to prove popular after winning a small-field affair at Pontefract last Monday and merits respect. Nevertheless, a 5lb penalty may be enough to prevent Charlie Johnston's filly from completing a double. ANISOPTERA returned to form when denied by a head at Kempton in May and a 1lb rise in the ratings doesn't appear insurmountable. The daughter of Casamento gets the vote, with dual C&D winner Bird For Life making most appeal of the remainder.

ANISOPTERA could do with cutting out the tardy starts but she's a C&D winner in excellent heart and, now up just 1 lb for a narrow defeat at Kempton, she looks the answer. Yorkindness was better than ever when landing a small-field contest at Pontefract a week ago and she's the obvious danger under a penalty.

This can go to ANISOPTERA for whom 2m on Polytrack suits perfectly. She only just failed to make a winning return to the AW last month.

LTO Selection:

14:10 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A taking winner on her debut at Kempton in April, FLOWER OF DUBAI has run with plenty of credit since and her most recent effort on handicap debut gave the indication that another win may be around the corner. A winner on her only all-weather start, Star Angel can give her the most to think about, along with Wodhooh, who chased home a smart sort at Kempton.

The vote goes to the unexposed FLOWER OF DUBAI, who made an eye-catching move into contention when third on her Doncaster handicap debut at the beginning of this month and can resume winning ways back on AW. Fox Flame could pose a threat if first-time blinkers have a positive effect, while Wodhooh has unexposed potential for her leading stable.

A tricky race in which the Crisfords' FLOWER OF DUBAI gets the vote ahead of Sir Michael Stoute's handicap newcomer Wodhooh.

LTO Selection:

14:20 Carlisle Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Chumbaa continues to run well in defeat and is likely to be in the thick of things once more, while Project Geofin looks set to take a step forward having hit the woodwork on his racecourse bow. Marginal preference, however, is for BACK BEFORE DARK. Grant Tuer's filly finished a creditable fourth over 5f at Catterick last month, but she's bred to appreciate further and this stiff finish can play to her strengths. A son of Champions Sprint winner Donjuan Triumphant, Coin Power warrants a market check ahead of his debut.

PROJECT GEOFIN really caught the after an awkward start on debut at Beverley a month ago, finishing with running left. He could easily take a step forward nudged up in trip. Roswood and The Good Biscuit are the interesting newcomers, and Chumbaa isn't out of it on form.

Geoff Oldroyd's PROJECT GEOFIN finished well from a poor position to take second on his debut, and that form has worked out well.

LTO Selection:

14:30 Lingfield Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

QUIET AFFAIR offered plenty to work with when finishing third on her debut at Kempton last month and she looks capable of picking up a race of this nature. Bated Breeze's recent fourth-placed finish at Goodwood has worked out fairly well and he is another who warrants consideration now appearing on the all-weather for the first time. This Time Maybe makes most appeal of the newcomers, with any market support requiring close examination.

QUIET AFFAIR shaped with definite promise when third on debut in a Kempton novice (6f) 26 days ago and with progress anticipated she could be worth siding with to come out on top. David Menuisier saddled an impressive winning newcomer at Sandown last week and his representative Xaarine is of interest on debut. Latama, who wasn't seen to best effect on debut at Thirsk, is also respected, with This Time Maybe another newcomer to note.

The choice is QUIET AFFAIR who showed more than enough when third on his debut to suggesr that a race like this is within his grasp.

IMPERIAL DREAM ran well on his return from a break and the drop in trip on this occasion should be a big help, along with the return to the all-weather. His stable can do little wrong at present and he gets the vote ahead of Talis Evolvere, who ran a highly encouraging race on his debut at Nottingham last August, and Star Sound.

TALIS EVOLVERE shaped well when third in the Nottingham novice won by subsequent Group 3 scorer Juliet Sierra on debut last August and, assuming all is well following a 10-month absence, he should prove hard to beat with improvement on the cards. Star Sound didn't cover herself in glory in a Leicester handicap last time but she's done little wrong in 3 starts on the all-weather and is likely to bounce back with a bold show. Imperial Dream and Lady of Anjou are others to consider.

Top of the list is TALIS EVOLVERE, who showed plenty promise in his sole 2yo run and sets the standard on his return.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LADY DREAMER (second) finished ahead of Bugle Beads (fifth) at Windsor a fortnight ago and the daughter of Dandy Man, who sets a useful standard, can uphold that form en route to a first career success. Sky High Girl should appreciate this initial stamina test judged on pedigree and must be considered on her racecourse debut, while Angel From Above heads the remainder.

BUGLE BEADS caught the eye in a major way starting out at Windsor a fortnight ago, denied a clear run and not given a hard time. Expected to take a marked step up, she can improve beyond the standard-setting filly Lady Dreamer.

Lady Dreamer was ahead of BUGLE BEADS at Windsor but the Haggas filly can improve past her here.

15:00 Lingfield Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Lady Of Africa arguably sets the standard of those who have raced, but the Amy Murphy-trained filly will likely need to improve to capitalise here, with first-time blinkers reached for. ELEGANT MADAME, a half-sister to precocious two-year-old winner Summer Sands, could be the way to go, where any market support for the daughter of Inns Of Court would be in her favour. Ventura Empress and She Is A Keeper are other newcomers to note.

Those with experience haven't achieved much, so newcomers are likely to come to the fore, with ELEGANT MADAME, Ventura Empress and She Is A Keeper making most appeal on paper in that order.

Ventura Empress has good credentials but ELEGANT MADAME is selected to enhance her connections' good record in 2yo races this year.

LTO Selection:

15:10 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PERSIAN PHOENIX showed marked improvement from first to second start when narrowly denied at Chelmsford and the step up in trip is another plus as she looks to go one better. Similar comments apply to Leicester second Etihad Rail, while Hadrian's Wall looks to be the pick of the newcomers for a stable that knows how to ready one first time out.

It would be no surprise were this to go to a newcomer, with BELLE STORM and Chiefman both appealing types on paper. The latter appears to be the stable No 1 ahead of fellow debutant Hadrian's Wall judged on jockey bookings and is not passed over lightly given his credentials but Belle Storm represents a yard that does notably well with 2-y-os on the all-weather and she gets the nod. Etihad Rail and Persian Phoenix have both shown a decent level of ability and are likely to be in the mix.

The vote goes to ETIHAD RAIL, who has shown plenty of promise with his two placed efforts and is open to more progress upped in trip.

15:20 Carlisle Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It might have been a while since SHARRABANG last tasted success, but Stella Barclay's gelding has been knocking on the door in recent starts and would hold every chance if running to the level that saw him hit the frame at Beverley last month. He edges the vote over Basholo, while Made Of Lir shouldn't be written off from a handy mark.

Irish-raider TAMMANY HALL ran his best race of the present campaign when fifth in a big-field Curragh handicap 12 days ago, and from a career-low mark, he could well be up to doubling his career tally. Stormy Pearl ran creditably without being seen to best effect at Ripon recently and is a threat, with Variety Island and Sharrabang completing the shortlist.

After arresting her decline with an encouraging fourth at Wetherby a fortnight ago, MADE OF LIR might come good for Sam England here.

15:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 3) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A progressive sort last season, winning three out of seven starts, a chance is taken with SEA THE CASPER on his return from a 231-day break. The form of the stable is another plus and he gets the vote ahead of the likes of Kitsune Power, and the unexposed One Night Thunder, who could be well treated off a mark of 93 on his handicap debut.

Having made a positive start for his current yard, PARIS LIGHTS seemed unsuited by firmer ground at York last time so he can bounce back returned to this C&D (won here on his stable debut in December). George Boughey's 4-y-o is taken to get the better of Sea The Casper who is respected on his return, while One Night Thunder could have more to offer on handicap debut.

A chance is taken on the fitness of SEA THE CASPER, who ran well in a valuable series final in the autumn and returns on the same mark.

15:40 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 8.5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

I'M TOO TIRED showed a glimmer of ability across his three runs to date without posing a threat to the principals, but the son of Ribchester is bred to be far better than an opening mark of 68 and is fancied to take a step forward on this handicap bow. Covert Legend weakened late on over 1m2f at Chelmsford 11 days ago, so he could progress now dropped in trip. Flying Spirit and Beau Vintage are others to be interested in.

KING'S CODE left his reappearance effort in his wake and did well to score having conceded first run when landing a 4-runner handicap at Bath 10 days ago. Open to further improvement, he gets the nod to defy a 1 lb higher mark. The pick of I'm Too Tired's form in novice company makes him of interest off a mark of 68 and he's feared, with C&D winner Yeoman and another likely improver Beau Vintage also worth a look.

It might be worth siding with KING'S CODE, who showed a good attitude when winning at Bath ten days ago and is only 1lb higher here.

15:50 Carlisle Handicap (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ALPINA EXPRESS looked ahead of her mark when winning with authority on her handicap debut at Ayr on Tuesday and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to prevent back-to-back victories. Time Traveller offered more encouragement when collared late on at Hamilton last month and rates as the chief threat racing off the same mark here, while Optician could improve for this extra distance and completes the shortlist.

ALPINA EXPRESS took a big step forward when winning on her turf/handicap debut at Ayr 6 days ago and, with further improvement to come, she can score again under a penalty. Optician could have more to offer upped further in trip and is feared most, ahead of Time Traveller

It was fairly comfortable for ALPINA EXPRESS at Ayr last week and she can defy the penalty.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This can go the way of EGOISTE, who must hold every chance if building on a career-best effort when third at Chelmsford last time out. David Menuisier's charge may have too much for recent C&D third Nivelle's Magic, and Centerstage, who has the services of Oisin Murphy to call upon this time around. Completing the shortlist are the likes of Angel Of Peace, Chagall and Hector Loza.

The suggestion is EGOISTE who is still relatively lightly raced and offered enough when third at Chelmsford last time to suggest he has a race in him. Chagall needs things to drop right to some extent but is very capable at this level and is second choice ahead of Centerstage, the mount of Oisin Murphy, and Denis Coakley's Lisdarragh.

There might still be a bit more to come from EGOISTE, who settled better in a refitted hood when third at Chelmsford last month.

16:10 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 9.5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

It's interesting that Robert Havlin is back aboard GIVE A LITTLE BACK, having been on top for his sole success which came over course and distance from a 3lb lower mark. Sean Curran's charge has since run well from similar marks and this could be a good opportunity for the son of Zelzal. Carey Street and Strategic Fortune are others to consider.

The step up to 1½m proved too much of a test for GIVE A LITTLE BACK at Newbury last time but he is of strong interest back down in trip and returned to a course where he has performed well on each of his 6 previous visits. He could may have most to fear from Carey Street, who hit the crossbar over C&D last month and remains on a workable mark. Sarkha and Strategic Fortune are also appealing, while Prince Ali could have a part to play if the first-time cheekpieces have the desired effect.

6yo STRATEGIC FORTUNE (nap) made it 3-4 over C&D when winning a similar race in February and is a big player again after another break.

16:20 Carlisle Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PERIPETEIA was beaten just under three lengths at Haydock last time and a further 2lb fall in the ratings, combined with a drop in class, may see the five-year-old regain the winning thread. Gibside is now only 2lb higher than his August triumph at Ripon and can figure if coming on for his reappearance at Doncaster in May. Graces Quest won over C&D at the start of the month and may fare better than latest efforts now returned to this venue.

WE STILL BELIEVE was only narrowly denied over C&D on his latest Flat start and might prove the answer to this Class 6 handicap. Phil Kirby's Peripeteia is back on a winning mark and is second choice ahead of dual C&D scorer Graces Quest.

The pick is GLITTERING CHOICE, who won off 2lb higher here last summer and has gone well when fresh before.

16:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Lumacho has to be of some interest with William Buick riding for the Boughey stable after his third at Nottingham and he could go well, but JUNGLE RUN was so impressive when strolling home at Chelmsford last time out. An added 7lb may not stop him doubling up despite the rise in class, while Harriet's Angel continues to run well without winning and may prove dangerous in first-time cheekpieces.

LILKIAN ran well at Yarmouth last time and he's better on AW, so he's preferred to Knockout Blow, who has a solid record at this track. Jungle Run is a danger on the back of his Chelmsford win.

Ten-time AW winner LILKIAN went close on turf on Wednesday and returns to Polytrack on a workable mark. He gets the nod.

LTO Selection:

16:35 Kilbeggan Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

GINO DRUMMER BOY has shown encouraging signs since returning from a layoff on his last two starts and while dropping in distance, contests a weak race. There were three previous winners ahead of him at Wexford last month and today's vastly experienced rider claims 7lb. Confined maiden point-to-point winner Blue In The West stayed on nicely when well beaten at Punchestown recently and while dropping in distance isn't ideal, remains a fraction unexposed. Miss Madeline was a recent first-flight faller but showed ability at Tramore in April. She has a light weight under a 7lb claimer. Be Fierce's last five runs have been in unplaced horses' maidens and while another one looms at Wexford on July 7, jockey Patrick Mullins might work some magic.

A tricky opener with a number holding claims but GINO DRUMMER BOY took a small step forward from his comeback run without being seen to best effect at Wexford 19 days ago and, with cheekpieces now enlisted, he could be the answer. Forest Pump and Be Fierce head up the dangers, whilst Blue In The West rates a likely improver.

Provided that he handles the drop back in trip, GINO DRUMMER BOY could be hard to beat after two encouraging runs this term

16:45 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

YOU'RE COOL is a standing dish here with 10 course victories, seven of them off this mark or higher, and even at the age of 11 he proved he is still capable with a win here last month. He could double up off 5lb higher, but if not then stablemate Gustav Graves could still see the prize go the way of Derek Shaw after a blocked run saw him finish second at Beverley in May. Astrophysics also likes it here, but top-weight may scupper his chances.

THEREHEGOES escapes a penalty for last week's Windsor apprentice success and a bold show is assured if showing up in the same form. Derek Shaw pair Gustav Graves and You're Cool, who is bidding for C&D win number 10, may give Robyn Brisland's charge most to do.

An open race in which the vote goes to the admirable 11yo YOU'RE COOL, who recorded his tenth course when scoring over C&D last time.

LTO Selection:

16:53 Carlisle Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Although Purple Martini arrives with recent winning form after scoring at Musselburgh, she is stepping up in class off a mark 4lb higher and may prove vulnerable. IN THE GIVING met trouble in running before coming home third at Windsor last time and the 7f trip here could prove ideal. She gets the vote ahead of Mai Alward, who signed off last season with a comfortable success and now makes her stable debut for Tristan Davidson.

PURPLE MARTINI has had an excellent start to the season and had something to spare when scoring at Musselburgh, so she makes most appeal in a weak race. Platinum Girl is the danger but In The Giving is worthy of respect for a top yard that has few runners at this track.

There is still more to come from PURPLE MARTINI (nap), who beat a pair of subsequent triple winners at Musselburgh last month.

LTO Selection:

17:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Skallywag Bay was beaten a neck over a furlong further at Windsor last time and she could take plenty of catching on the front end. However, this may set up the race for ALPINE GIRL, who was given a perfect ride last time to pounce late on over C&D and looks likely to get a decent early pace to attack once again. Destiny's Spirit is another to consider slowly coming down the handicap to a workable mark.

The drop to this trip was the catalyst for an improved display from ALPINE GIRL, who quickened up nicely in the closing stages when scoring over C&D last time. She's gone up 5 lb but is totally unexposed at the minimum trip/on the all-weather and is taken to strike again. Skallywag Bay got back on track when going close in a 6f Windsor handicap and, like Alpine Girl, could benefit from this drop to 5f. She is second choice, albeit only marginally as Cuban Grey is also appealing.

James Fanshawe's filly ALPINE GIRL (nap) produced a good finishing burst to win over C&D two weeks ago and can make further progress.

17:10 Kilbeggan Handicap Hurdle 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A chance is taken with long absent LE BOULEVARDIER which, crucially given a wet forecast, has form on soft ground. Last year's point-to-point form was useful and while he runs in a first-time tongue-tie on reappearance, contests a weak race in which the form-horses are better suited by good ground. In-form eight-time winner True Destiny won on easy ground at Sligo last October but is generally better suited by a sound surface while Kilmurry JJ has improved on good recently but might bump into one or two to strong. Eight-time winner Father Jed is a returning veteran while Sittingonthefence is longer absent and would prefer good ground. Ranger Billy ran well over course and distance recently but might also prefer a sounder surface. Gigantamax Eevee ran ok on handicap debut at Wexford and should be suited by today's extra distance.

TRUE DESTINY stuck to his task really well when successful at Sligo on Tuesday and with this tight track the place to attempt another go at 3m, he may well follow up. Kilmurry JJ seems very likely to give his running, while the market may help assess Sittingonthefence's fitness on this return to action.

(4) Further Measure 5/1, Won 11-runner handicap (5/2) at this course (1½m) 14 days ago. Remains with handicapping scope on old form after only a 3 lb rise. Respected.

17:20 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Further Measure stayed on strongly to win over 1m4f here last time and looks all set to go well with the added furlongs in his favour, but he has 3lb more from the handicapper and is also taking a step up in grade. STONKING is the unknown quantity after making all to win easily on just his third start over shorter here last November, and if he continues to improve he could make all again, leaving Glory And Honour to follow them home.

STONKING stands out as an unexposed sort in the line-up and can make a successful handicap debut on his return to action. Further Measure and Glory And Honour have both tasted success here in recent weeks and can give Heather Main's charge most to think about.

A blind eye can be turned to the fairly treated ATALANTA BREEZE's two defeats this season and she might be the answer.

LTO Selection:

17:27 Carlisle Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

It may prove best to side with ROYAL PROSPECT, who likes it here with two C&D wins to his name, the latest off 1lb higher than his current mark. He wasn't at his best last month at Redcar, but that was his first start since October last year and he may find some improvement. Floral Splendour was beaten a length at Beverley earlier this month and looks a huge rival in this field, despite an added 1lb from the handicapper. Shahnaz also has a chance if she can get back to her best 2022 form.

The vote goes to ROYAL PROSPECT, who is 3-7 at this track and should be spot-on following an encouraging reappearance spin at Redcar at the end of last month. Like the selection, Shahnaz was successful over this C&D off a higher mark in 2022 and shaped as though coming back to the boil at Hamilton recently. She is feared most ahead of Floral Splendour, who returned to form when hitting the crossbar at Beverley, and Albegrey.

C&D winner SHAHNAZ, who posted a sound effort at Hamilton recently and looks ready to capitalise upon some help from the handicapper.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Narrowly denied at Yarmouth last time out over further, MUCKY MULCONRY should be well suited by dropping back in trip and he can make it two wins in his last three. Michael Wigham's charge may score at the main expense of Carry On Aitch and Rewilding, who ran with plenty of credit on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton last month. Speed Dial Baileys and Wedgewood are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

SPEED DIAL BAILEYS is related to winners and shaped better than the result on her quailfying run at this course a fortnight ago, so she's worth chancing on handicap debut in a weak event. Mucky Mulconry has been in good form, so he's feared most, while Carry On Aitch would play a part if back to her best.

Ahead of the assessor turned out quickly, MUCKY MULCONRY (nap) holds particularly strong claims. Rewilding is second choice.

LTO Selection:

17:43 Kilbeggan Handicap Hurdle 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SILVERSTRAND is a 20-race maiden but has run consistently recently and is ground-versatile. His overall profile is just moderate but a reproduction of either of his last two runs would give him every chance. Tingarran Express is herself a 14-race maiden but steps up to this distance for the first time and, crucially, will be suited by the forecast rain. Her recent form has also been consistent and should compete from a career-low rating. Hard Target has winning form on soft and could be suited by stepping up to this distance while Emily In Paris ran well in an unplaced horses' maiden at Tramore recently but has yet to race on easy ground. Well Polly returns from a break but has winning form over this distance on soft ground.

SILVERSTRAND has run well when reaching the frame in big-field handicaps on his last 2 starts and might finally get off the mark here. Cool Legacy has run as well as could be expected in maidens on her last 2 starts and should be very competitive if showing up in the same form back in a handicap. The veteran Dorans River showed he can be competitive from his reduced mark when third at Wexford last time and is also on the shortlist. Singing The Blues would also need considering if getting a run.

HARD TARGET shaped with promise when fourth last time out and with the potential for improvement for this new trip, he shades the vote

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Not a daunting standard set by those with experience, so it might be worth taking a chance on debutant QUEEN OF ATLANTIS. The daughter of Advertise, a 40,000gns purchase at the Tattersalls Guineas sales last month, is related to plenty of winners and might be capable of a bold showing on her racecourse debut. Treat Of Treats enters calculations for a yard that often excel with their juveniles, while Lady Wulfrun appeals most of the remainder.

TREAT OF TREATS is an interesting newcomer on paper and should go well on debut in a race where a case can be made for several. Lady Wulfrun sets the standard, but will probably need to take another step forward. Nighteyes hinted at ability on debut and is likely to improve.

Unless one of the newcomers can deliver this looks a fine opportunity for LADY WULFRUN.

Having made the frame in each of his four starts and narrowly denied at Musselburgh last time, PONGA deserves a change in luck and this may be his best opportunity yet to get off the mark. A half-sister to the decent California Gem, Band Of Joy is a newcomer to note for the George Boughey stable, while the same can be said of Acer, a daughter of Harry Angel, whom her trainer knows so well.

BAND OF JOY's stable has a fine record with Breeze-Up acquisitions and she's worth chancing given her speedy pedigree. Acer is a danger and Ponga is the clear pick of those with track experience.

Ponga sets an ordinary standard. BAND OF JOY, Acer, Easel and Fillide Melandroni are interesting newcomers.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MISS TEMPO is reliable and progressive and while rain is forecast, has form on easy ground. Beaten by Love Envoi on 2021 bumper debut, she returned from a 457-days absence this year and while she competes from a career-high rating, is suited by staying distances and can continue to progress. Level Neverending is a dual bumper winner whose only previous hurdle success was gained here but has competed at a higher level. Suited by staying distances, he wasn't beaten far in Cheltenham and Punchestown festival handicaps this spring and ran well in a recent course-and-distance handicap. My Design has thrice been placed in black-type races and while well held at Punchestown in April, reverts to hurdles, stays well and is ground-versatile. Prince Zaltar finished his race well enough at Ballinrobe recently, suggesting today's extra distance could suit although he again competes from a career-high mark.

The hat-trick beckons for MISS TEMPO, who has improved this year with pretty impressive front-running displays in handicaps at Naas and Tipperary. She's gone up a total of 19 lb for that brace but, with just half-a-dozen starts over hurdles to her name, she may well have more to offer. Prince Zaltar is likely to be suited by the return to this trip and he is second choice ahead of My Design and Level Neverending.

There could still be more to come from MISS TEMPO at this sort of trip and she's hard to oppose in her hat-trick bid

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Successful on three of her last six starts, preference is for the steadily progressive JAX EDGE, who might be capable of defying a subsequent 6lb rise for the latest of those victories. Only narrowly denied on her handicap debut at Leicester last month, Torfrida appeals as the most likely danger. Surrey Noir ran to a consistent level across his three efforts to date, though it would come as no surprise were he to step forward here.

JAX EDGE enhanced her good record in handicaps when getting on top close home at Chepstow (5f) 9 days ago, and with the return to this trip holding no fears, she's fancied to put up another bold showing. Pam Sly's Torfrida, on the back of her good Leicester second, and Due Date head up the dangers.

Torfrida is interesting back at 6f but SURREY NOIR should be capable of winning races off his initial mark.

A half-sister to the stables' talented Group 3 winner Bashkirova, ROYAL MILA has a bit to go to reach that level, but she got her career off to a perfect start when scoring in determined fashion at Goodwood. She can follow up against Goldsborough, who won at the same track earlier in the month, and Breathless Bishop for the in-form Harry and Roger Charlton team.

ROYAL MILA created a fine impression when seeing off a well-touted rival and 8 others on debut at Goodwood 3 weeks ago. She looks more than capable of defying a penalty before tackling better company. Goldsborough also won at that venue on second start and can ensure the Haggas filly doesn't have it all her own way.

Promising ROYAL MILA is taken to defy a 7lb penalty and follow up her Goodwood success. Goldsborough is the chief threat on form.

LA PRIMA DONNA hasn't been seen since being brought down at Galway last summer and had some strong form before that. She won her maiden at Tipperary on the bridle previously having run big races in valuable handicap events prior to that. She was on a mark of 129 when last seen and that sets a fair standard. Media Naranja looks a danger after a good win at Ballinrobe recently. The Yeats mare beat a couple of decent sorts then in good style but has to carry a double penalty now. Space Tourist, stablemate of the selection, is another that has to come into the mix after an impressive win in maiden company at Limerick while Flidais was a wide margin scprer here last time and is another that has to be considered despite facing tougher opposition now.

A Willie Mullins 1-2 looks likely with LA PRIMA DONNA taken to account for stablemate Space Tourist. The latter has the benefit of a recent run under her belt, and it was a pretty impressive one at that in making a winning hurdles debut at Limerick. She is open to improvement but La Prima Donna boasts solid form credentials and was sent off favourite for a valuable Galway handicap on her latest start last July, only to be brought down at the third-last. Media Naranja is best of the rest.

Though LA PRIMA DONNA(nap) is coming back from a long absence, her best form is a cut above her rivals and she can score.

VAN GERWEN hasn't been on target since his win in the corresponding event 12 months ago, which came from a 7lb higher mark. He can be forgiven a below-par Beverley effort, and a return to the form that saw him beaten a nose into second at Ripon on his penultimate start, could see Paul Midgley's sprinter hit the bullseye. Stablemate Good Luck Fox heads the dangers, while others to note include May Blossom and Eeh Bah Gum.

GOOD LUCK FOX showed the benefit of his reappearance run when going down only to a rejuvenated stablemate at Catterick 17 days ago and a repeat should see him firmly in the mix again operating from his last winning mark. Burj Malinka and Jojo Rabbit are just a couple of others to consider.

CAIRN GORM won three races as a juvenile, including a Group 3 at Deauville, and although he has failed to score since, he returns as a five-year-old after being gelded and following a wind operation. He could surprise off his current mark, and may get the better of Haydock third Nomadic Empire, who warrants respect off the same mark after being beaten less than a length in a similar race. Justcallmepete is another to consider on his return to 6f, with consistency on his side.

NOMADIC EMPIRE is well treated on his best efforts and returned to form when third at Haydock recently, so he makes most appeal in an open race. C&D winner Sterling Knight is interesting with cheekpieces refitted and Cairn Gorm is worthy of interest if strong in the market on return.

19:13 Kilbeggan Maiden Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

UNCLE PHIL was running a decent race until unshipping his rider at the last at Wexford on his chase debut and can step up to open his account now. The Walk In The Park gelding made the running then until headed before the second last and was set to finish third to Watch House Cross in a decent contest before his blunder late on. Stablemate Winter Fog was highly rated over hurdles but didn't make much impression on his chase debut at Ballinrobe and needs to improve on that. I A Connect looks one to note on his first outing over fences. The Jeremy gelding showed a decent level over timber and only lost out to stablemate As Tears Go By on his return at Wexford late last month.

GROZNI's chase debut third at Limerick was an eye-catching effort (so much so that the stewards saw fit to inquire into the running and riding), staying on strongly under considerate handling and doing well to finish as close as he did. There should be better to come from him in this sphere and this drop back in trip shouldn't be an issue judged on his hurdles exploits. There were positives to glean from Uncle Phill's first spin over fences, too, and he is next on the list ahead of I A Connet.

GROZNI is rated lower than many of these over hurdles but there was plenty to like about his Limerick chasing debut.

19:25 Nottingham Stakes (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Taswara has shown very little so far with three unplaced efforts, but she steps up to a mile and a quarter here and with plenty of stamina in her pedigree we may yet see a much-improved effort. ORDER OF ST JOHN has won here over an extended mile and he may have the best credentials, especially with this trip unlikely to cause any problems. The Go To is another one to watch for Tim Easterby, who has his string in excellent form.

DAME LAURA KNIGHT ran below form in first-time cheekpieces at Chepstow 9 days ago, but she had shown promise in handicaps on her previous 2 starts so she could yet do better upped in trip with the headgear left off. The 3-y-o can open her account, with No Diggity heading the list of dangers ahead of The Go To.

Nigel Tinkler's GOBLET OF FIRE didn't run too badly in a handicap here last time and promises to improve for this longer trip.

LTO Selection:

19:35 Windsor Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Clipsham La Habana won his last two starts as a juvenile comfortably enough, but he hasn't been seen since December and is making his turf debut here. He can go well if he takes to the turf, yet BE FRANK may have his measure. Gelded after two starts at two, he returned with a maiden win at Salisbury and an opening mark of 79 may underestimate his ability. Kessaar Power and Thankuappreciate are others worth considering.

If there's a runner with the potential to be quite a bit better than their mark it's surely BE FRANK, who looked a totally different proposition when making a winning reappearance at Salisbury 3 weeks ago. Assuming he's as effective on turf, Clipsham La Habana is a threat, along with Kessaar Power.

This return to 6f looks the right move for THANKUAPPRECIATE, especially should he again be slow to break.

LTO Selection:

19:43 Kilbeggan Handicap Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

VINA ARDANZA looks the class act in this and Danny Gilligan's 7lb claim is a big advantage for the top-weight. The Califet gelding got the result after an appeal following a controversial decision to leave the placings unaltered when he went down by a nose to Saldier at Killarney after getting hampered at the final fence by that rival. The front two pulled nicely clear then and a mark of 137 doesn't look harsh for Vina Ardanza who was a smart sort over hurdles. Too Bright put behind two poor runs over fences when getting off the mark here 15 days ago. He got an easy time in the lead then and in a small field might be able to bring them along again. Choice Of Words was collared late on in a beginners chase here last month and a better jump at the last may have proved the difference then. He looks another big player in this.

CHOICE OF WORDS left previous chasing form behind when runner-up in a novice here last time and another step forward could see her make a successful switch to handicaps. Vina Ardanza also has potential, so he looks a big danger, and Too Bright is likely to be on the premises having made all over C&D last time.

After a fine run over 2m at Punchestown last time, THE DARA MAN will appreciate the step-up in trip and can go one better.

19:55 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Obama Army may prove popular and is a model of consistency, with a win and four seconds from his last five starts. He looks likely to get into the mix again here, but he has to give 4lb to FOUGERE, a half-length second over C&D last month on heavy ground and seemingly on an upward curve. As a daughter of Bated Breath, she may be even happier on this quicker surface and could well improve again. Brabusach and Khangai look all set to battle it out for third.

OBAMA ARMY has been holding his form well in handicaps this year, still in front when wandering off a true line late on at Lingfield a week ago, so he is taken to get back to winning ways this time around. Fougere showed more than previously at this C&D last time and is feared most, while Brabusach also merits consideration.

There's guesswork involved in making cases for a few of these but not with OBAMA ARMY (nap) who ran yet another solid race last week.

20:05 Windsor Stakes (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Galactic Glow gained a first career success in a similar contest at Bath recently and merits consideration in his current mood. Preference, however, is for the Adam West-trained GILBERT. The son of Cityscape was far from disgraced when carrying a 5lb penalty in a handicap at Yarmouth on Wednesday and a similar level of performance in this classified stakes contest could prove good enough. Hourless returns to this sphere on the back of a triumph over hurdles and is another to note.

HOURLESS arrives here on the back of an early-season juvenile hurdle win and he makes plenty of appeal at this level. Gilbert also comes here in excellent order, with recent Bath winner Galactic Glow completing the shortlist.

The shortlist is headed by closely matched rivals GILBERT and Urban Forest. Third choice is Hourless, ahead of Fadi.

20:13 Kilbeggan NH Flat Race 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This could be the battle of the Minellas here and MINELLA MATE gets the vote. The Shantou gelding has been placed on his last two starts and may appreciate dropping back in trip now having just failed to see it out over two-and-a-half at Wexford last time. Minella Diamond is not surprisingly a former stablemate of his and was placed in a couple of point-to-points before joining Billy Lanigan. The Beat Hollow gelding was no match for Zaidi on his 'track' debut at Thurles in March but this looks a weaker race now and he has to be respected with Patrick Mullins booked to ride. Captain's Pick showed some promise when fifth in a Cork bumper in April and he could be a potential improver in the field.

MINELLA MATE has shown fairly useful form the last twice and this doesn't look a strong race, so he's likely to open his account at the possible expense of Megansue, who strikes as an interesting newcomer for a shrewd stable. Captain's Pick is also of some interest after a mildly encouraging debut.

Narrow preference is for CAPTAIN'S PICK, who could have more room for improvement after just one run and has a top amateur aboard.

20:25 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MR TRICK managed to get up in the shadows of the post over 6f at Wolverhampton in March and a 3lb rise shouldn't prevent another bold bid now faced with a stiffer task reverted to turf. His main threat could emerge from Nine Elms, who was far from disgraced on his stable debut here last month and he too looks capable of picking up a race of this nature. Obee Jo arrives in fair form and completes the shortlist.

NINE ELMS can boast an excellent record at Nottingham and, now returned to his optimum trip, he could well be the answer. Hostpur Harry is back in his grade and is a threat, while Obee Jo should give it another good shot.

This might go to KINZ, who ran well over 7f on last month's seasonal/stable debut and can do better over today's longer trip.

20:35 Windsor Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

METABOLT regained the winning thread when being awarded the race in the stewards' room at Haydock last month and David Loughnane's four-year-old may have more to offer, despite being burdened with a 5lb rise for that success. Two Tempting found a class 2 event a bit too demanding at Epsom recently and better is expected now returned to this grade off 3lb lower, while Global Esteem is also likely to prove more competitive at this level.

METABOLT can be rated a couple of lengths better than the bare form of his latest Haydock run and could still be well treated after a 5 lb rise. Two Tempting ought to find this easier than the Epsom Class 2 he contested last time and is second choice ahead of the William Haggas-trained Wilkins.

Global Esteem (second choice) could surprise a few but if GREY FOX is to return to form anywhere, it will be here.

20:55 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 14f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Although keen, TEAM ENDEAVOUR appeared to relish the extra distance over 2m at Wetherby last week and holds obvious claims. Ian Williams' gelding won an apprentice handicap on that occasion and gets to run off the same mark. Marbuzet did well to finish third from an uncompromising position at Leicester in late-May and is feared most off 1lb lower, while Geelong can't be discounted off his declining mark either.

TEAM ENDEAVOUR benefited from the late antics of the runner-up when opening his account at Wetherby (2m) 6 days ago but he was still worth crediting with improvement himself with the pair pulling a long way clear of the remainder. Unpenalized for that success, he gets the vote to follow up back at 1¾m. Marbuzet shaped well with a view to stepping back up to this trip and is feared, ahead of Lawmans Blis.

Team Endeavour escapes a penalty for last week's Wetherby win but slight preference is for MARBUZET.
