There were 35 Races on Wednesday 2nd July 2025 across 5 meetings. There was 8 races at Thirsk, 7 races at Worcester, 7 races at Tipperary, 7 races at Chepstow, 6 races at Epsom Downs, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.
Class & Speed Card

A respectable fourth in a valuable contest at Beverley in May, TROPICAL DREAMER should be suited by going up to 6f and is the one they all have to beat. Dandy Style showed promise first time out when fourth at Carlisle over 5f, while it will be interesting to see how newcomers Circle Of Trust and Horu Kanu fare in the market.

Tropical Dreamer must go well despite the penalty but DANDY STYLE made a fairly eyecatching debut, shaping like this trip will suit.
Class & Speed Card

JAIPALETEMPS occupied the runner-up berth over an extended 2m here last month, shaping as if this step back up in trip would be a good move. David Pipe's six-year-old competes off the same mark and he looks the way to go. Catboy was well beaten on his first chase start at Uttoxeter but could take a step forward from that effort to have a say. Of the remainder, Jac Jumper makes the most appeal.

It might be worth chancing CATBOY, who shaped quite well in a higher-grade race than this on his recent chasing debut.
Class & Speed Card

SUMMER HEAT was no match for a talented sort of Roger Varian's at Wolverhampton last time out, but she had shown up well before that over 7f and this appeals as an ideal opportunity to get off the mark. A winner on debut at Kempton last December, First Principle is likely to find it tougher under a 7lb penalty, whereas Divine Knight looks to be the pick of the newcomers for the Sean Woods team with Daniel Tudhope booked.

Summer Heat, Off Spin and Arf's Duchess all have something to recommend them but FIRST PRINCIPLE looked promising on debut.
Class & Speed Card

VILLAGE MASTER coped with a drop in distance to complete a double at Stratford in May and the handicapper may have let him off lightly with only a 4lb rise. The six-year-old is improving at a rapid rate of knots and can go in again. Jubilant accounted for Halondo by half a length at Southwell on his most recent start and could confirm that form to go close.

It is hard to get away from VILLAGE MASTER (nap) who is selected to land his eighth win over fences. Second choice is Fame And Fun.
Class & Speed Card

FOREST CAPER didn't do himself any favours when taking a keen hold and eventually being worn down over slightly shorter at Beverley last month. Daniel Tudhope taking over in the saddle is a big plus on this occasion, though, and as long as he can get the four-year-old settled, he should have enough to see off Gentle Touch, who was a significant improver from first to second start when runner-up over 7f at Wetherby. Secret Force and Wolfpack are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

Wolfpack can leave his stable debut behind him but FOREST CAPER has run two promising races and this could be his day.
Class & Speed Card

WOODLAND ADVENTURE kept her unbeaten record when scoring in comfortable fashion over C&D last month and could have plenty of improvement in her. Gordon Elliott's filly looks to have been found another suitable assignment and she is tough to oppose. Arayapearl finished third on her first start at Plumpton in April and it would be no surprise to see her take a step forward from that display. Any market support behind Nelrose would be interesting.

Gordon Elliott's unbeaten filly WOODLAND ADVENTURE sets a fairly good standard and is the most obvious answer.
Class & Speed Card

ARANTES NASCIMENTO finished a close third in a stronger event at Chester last month and is just 1lb higher. With Tom Marquand taking over in the plate, he could prove hard to beat. Rapido Girl wasn't disgraced in fourth at this level at Catterick and now sports a first-time tongue-tie, so she has to be respected. Saisons D'Or is the pick of the remainder.

The veteran SAISONS D'OR (nap) is taken to resume winning ways back down in trip. Arantes Nascimento is next best.
Class & Speed Card

This can go the way of CURRUMBIN, who impressed when scoring on his hurdles debut over C&D last week. Michael Keady's charge looks capable of handling a 7lb penalty and he gets the vote ahead of Knights Affair, who drops significantly in trip. Another winner on his hurdles bow over track and trip last month, Intosomethinggood must enter calculations as well.

Michael Keady's CURRUMBIN made a bright start to his hurdling career over C&D a week ago and is given the vote.
Class & Speed Card

Electric Avenue failed to supplement her Redcar triumph when well beaten at Wetherby last month but she might be worth another chance. However, despite taking a keen hold, TWILIGHT DIAMOND finished a respectable fifth in this grade at Doncaster last time and was kindly dropped 2lb. He competes off a career-low rating and may prove hard to beat. Leap Day looks best of the rest.

Patontheback could revive soon but LEAP DAY could be the answer in another trappy event.
Class & Speed Card

A creditable second over further at Newton Abbot in his bid for a hat-trick last month, HAMMER DAN is likely to be suited by dropping back in trip and he can strike from a career-high mark of 85. Tropical Speed is a capable sort on his day, while others to note include Belles Benefit, Let Me Go Boys and Regal And Royal.

A wide-open contest but preference is for REGAL AND ROYAL who should improve for this step up in trip.
Class & Speed Card

It's hard to get away from TOPTEAM, who beat a subsequent winner and Raulin (fourth) in this grade at Chester last month and the assessor may have been kind to only put him up 6lb. This step up in trip could unlock any amount of improvement and Andrew Balding's colt can remain unbeaten in handicaps. Sir William also has his first attempt at this distance after his fifth at Sandown and is considered, while Rogue Impact isn't out of it either.

This is a marked ease in grade for ROGUE IMPACT and he can resume winning ways. Sir William and Topteam can chase him home.
Class & Speed Card

SCINTILLANTE has a good record here and holds strong credentials off just 4lb higher than when scoring comfortably over C&D in May. The five-year-old's latest second to a progressive rival over track-and-trip a fortnight ago only strengthens his case. The recent Stratford winner, Al Mootamarid, is an obvious danger despite a 6lb higher rating, while Choirmaster is one to monitor close on just his second start after a break.

Preference is for AL MOOTAMARID who can follow up his win at Stratford last month. Scintillante is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

KANSAS has been placed on all three starts to date and could make the breakthrough. He has been beaten by some smart sorts and the two horses that finished in front of him at Navan weren't out of place on subsequent trips to Royal Ascot. Baker Blue was a couple of places behind Kansas in fifth at Navan and ought to be involved. Spicetown led for a long way in Down Royal before dropping to sixth. Sam Coen takes 7lb off his back and they can get closer. Jack The Bachelor was only 6/1 on debut in that Down Royal race where he finished in rear of mid-division and Colin Keane has been booked, while Tertre Rouge is a newcomer to note.

Although beaten at odds-on last time at Navan, KANSAS (nap) remains the one to beat, with cheekpieces now fitted
Class & Speed Card

The reapplication of a visor proved just the trick for last-time-out York winner Kats Bob, who warrants respect in his follow-up bid. However, a 3lb higher mark and rise in class demands another career-best performance from Ruth Carr's charge and reopposing fourth ROBERTO CARO may exact his revenge. The four-year-old shaped best of those racing on the near side and ticks plenty of the right boxes reverting to the C&D of his penultimate triumph. Easy Peeler can make her presence felt too.

Easy Peeler has more to offer but PALS BATTALION should find this track more to his liking than Ripon last month.
Class & Speed Card

Mr Le Philosophe has started favourite in all three outings since joining James Owen and is again likely to be popular given he is a potential improver over this trip. However, preference is for GONE IN SIXTY, who romped home by 14 lengths under Alice Stevens over 2m4f at Fakenham a month ago and that proven ability over the distance could be key. Southwell winner Noble Recall and Gms Prince complete the shortlist.

A bare 2m4f is likely to be a minimum for NOBLE RECALL but he's been getting it together of late and should have more to offer.
Class & Speed Card

Level Up is bidding to make it three wins out of his last four starts after scoring at Leicester last time and holds an obvious chance. However, MOLLYMOOK produced her best effort to date when making the frame on her first start in a handicap at Yarmouth last month. Darryll Holland's filly was kindly dropped 1lb for that display and could take full advantage. Fear And Fast completes the shortlist.

Preference is for the in-form LEVEL UP who has a 5lb penalty for his recent Leicester success, but who won off this mark last summer.
Class & Speed Card

SIR YOSHI is well clear on official ratings and avails of the three-year-old allowance, so ought to be bang there. He has been performing creditably in Listed company, especially when beaten under a length into fourth on fast ground at York in May. Harry's Hill gave best inside the final furlong of the valuable Rockingham in the Curragh last weekend before finishing fourth which was a good run. If this turnaround isn't too quick, he will be in the mix for another cheque. Eclairage weakened out of contention in Cork, but was entitled to need that run after six months off. She's still to show that she is as effective on turf as Polytrack, though.

This is a good opportunity for SIR YOSHI who has often performed creditably in defeat since winning a C&D maiden last year
Class & Speed Card

Having justified favouritism and repelled reopposing runner-up Quercus at Wetherby 13 days ago, LADY OF THE GARR looks capable of more in her current vein of form. A 2lb nudge up in the ratings may prove inconsequential for the daughter of Mehmas and a brace could be in the offing. The aforementioned Quercus is unlikely to be far away off 1lb higher in the handicap, while Without Flaw is interesting reverting to 6f.

Maybe Lady Of The Garr's Wetherby's race can provide the answer. CALAFRIO is selected to come out on top of the five who reoppose.
Class & Speed Card

This Guy still showed greenness when finishing fourth at Haydock in May and the son of Blue Point is likely to take a step forward from that effort. Even so, FLYING COMET looks the way to go. The Crisfords' youngster may have failed to justify favouritism when third on debut at Nottingham, but that was still a promising display. This extra furlong could bring out lots of improvement and he looks the one to beat. Any market confidence behind newcomer Shams would be interesting.

This can go to FLYING COMET who left the money behind when sent off odds-on for his Nottingham debut last month.
Class & Speed Card

SPRING IS HERE could be worth backing on this better ground. There was plenty of promise in her opening fourth behind the classy Lady Iman at the Curragh in May. She couldn't stay with the leader on much slower ground when third in Cork, however, that form looks decent after the winner finished in a dead-heat for third in Listed class at Royal Ascot. There is highly likely to be more to come from Aidan O'Brien's Naas winner First Approach who gets first-time cheekpieces after running unplaced in his last couple of starts in better company, while Fresh Fade has put three solid runs together and is a major contender.

This provides FIRST APPROACH with a chance to get his campaign back on track after a couple of demanding tasks
Class & Speed Card

TEX has plenty of scope for improvement and is a highly appealing option on just his third start in a handicap. Beaten just over two lengths when stepped up to 1m2f at Newbury last month, the son of Dark Angel looks worth chancing with first-time cheekpieces complementing a tongue-tie. The recent Leicester winner Bobacious, along with the well-handicapped Annexation are other solid contenders.

Mason Paetel made all on BOBACIOUS (nap) at Leicester last month and that form is working out nicely. He is the pick ahead of Tex.
Class & Speed Card

Reservardo has made the frame in each of his handicap outings, most recently at Redcar, and he should remain competitive. Kinetic Force attempted to make all when second at Goodwood last month and is respected, but the vote goes to MASTER OF MY FATE. The Quinns' four-year-old got up for third in this grade at Ayr last time and competes off an unchanged rating. With Jack Nicholls claiming a handy 7lb, he could be the one to side with.

The choice is RESERVARDO who is proving most consistent and may still have more to offer following his recent narrow defeat at Redcar.
Class & Speed Card

THERIVERRUNSDEEP could do damage off a mark of 46 with Terry Casey's 7lb claim factored in. She knows where the winning post is having clocked up six victories throughout her career. The Camacho mare was last seen finishing third at Dundalk in September and Sam Coen is a good booking for her. If Eclairage runs well in the 5.40 race on this card, it would boost the prospects of Skillman Ave who came home third behind her on two occasions at Dundalk last year. She wasn't beaten far into fifth in a first-time visor at Listowel last month. Top-weight This Ain't Texas is a lightly-raced sort with more upside than most.

Preference is for SKILLMAN AVE, who showed plenty of speed at Listowel and could be suited by this drop in trip
Class & Speed Card

Ibshara sets the standard and should have an impact given she is entitled to be wiser after a couple of promising efforts at Kempton and Newmarket last month. However, the bar isn't set remarkably high and it could be worth chancing CAPALL RASA. A 68,000-euros purchase as a yearling, the son of Foostepsinthesand boasts a notable pedigree and shouldn't have too many issues starting out over 7f. Starlight Time and Fletcher are other newcomers to monitor in the betting.

Supreme Chief (feared most) and Starlight Time are interesting newcomers but this could go to IBSHARA, who has solid form.
Class & Speed Card

Although thwarted in her belated hat-trick bid over C&D nine days ago, JAX EDGE lost little in defeat on that second-placed reappearance. Christopher Mason's mare makes grand appeal off an unchanged mark and compensation could be imminent. Chief Mankato also arrives on the back of a good recent effort having filled the runner-up spot at Windsor and isn't taken lightly. The four-year-old may serve the most resistance to the selection, ahead of fellow in-form rival Dapperling.

This can go to JAX EDGE (nap) who has a good record in handicaps here and who ran so well on her recent reappearance.
Class & Speed Card

RISING SKY was beaten just over two lengths into fourth over further at Leopardstown and the form looks strong. Both the winner and the runner-up have gone in since, so this could be the time for Rising Sky. There was also merit in her fourth on penultimate start in Roscommon. Justify filly Just Before has shown more than enough to be in the mix for a cheque despite shouldering top-weight as she has form in better class races. Mother Mara looks threatening on the back of being pipped by a short head in Fairyhouse at the end of May, while Beautiful Affair has slipped down to a mark of 70 which she should be competitive off.

Only just denied at Fairyhouse in her first handicap, MOTHER MARA has good prospects of going one place better.
Class & Speed Card

ALZAHIR won with plenty in hand at Chester on Saturday and seems well equipped to follow up. It's an added bonus that he has previous course experience and, with Warren Fentiman effectively cancelling out a penalty with his 5lb claim, he is hard to oppose. Mister Bluebird is feared most despite going up 4lb for his Goodwood success, while Far Above Dream is a fair alternative if his recent no-show in a deeper race at York can be forgiven.

The 3yo FAR ABOVE DREAM remains one to be interested in for James Owen. He's taken to make it two out of three for the yard.
Class & Speed Card

Having proved a different proposition when making all on her handicap bow over 5f at Bath last month, there is likely more to come from FILLY'S LAST LADY. An extra furlong and 4lb rise is unlikely to prevent another bold bid from the daughter of Due Diligence and she's taken to follow up. Last month's Yarmouth runner-up Zaman Daar arrives on the back of his best finishing position of the season and should be in the mix once more, along with Four Adaay.

The unexposed FILLY'S LAST LADY looks the one to be on with last month's successful handicap debut at Bath having been boosted.
Class & Speed Card

FAOLADH got 7lb for winning in Leopardstown, however, that is more than offset by the booking of 10lb claimer Adam Browne-Souza, so has every chance of following up. Joseph O'Brien's Glenroyal showed definite promise when getting up to dead-heat for second on handicap debut at Ballinrobe and could build upon that. There is a race in Great Mover who has been placed in her last couple of handicaps. A first-time visor is tried in a bid to eke a bit more from her. Magnolia Drive, a stablemate of Glenroyal, was the horse who dead-heated for second at Ballinrobe and has to enter calculations. Onemoredance and You Are Mine are others pitching for prize-money.

Over this more galloping track, recent Ballinrobe second GLENROYAL gets the vote over stablemate Magnolia Drive
Class & Speed Card

Having made a perfect stable debut at Goodwood last month, BIG BEAR HUG could be open to more improvement. A 2lb rise in the ratings for the six-year-old shouldn't forestall another bold bid and she edges the verdict over Golden Circet. The Jim & Suzi Best-trained gelding arrives on the back of a respectable third over 1m2f at Windsor and he looks ready for this extra distance. The unexposed Sudu is also of interest.

Following his luckless run at Newbury, SUDU could be a warm order to gain compensation. Big Bear Hug is feared most.
Class & Speed Card

Runner-up on three of his last four starts, including last time out over C&D, FISHERMANS COTTAGE deserves a change in luck and he can get that on this occasion in a winnable contest. A respectable third on her first start for new connections at Bath, A Lady Forever is capable of being in the shake-up, as well as Midnight Call, who may be suited by dropping back in distance.

The vote goes to FISHERMANS COTTAGE who looks ready to win again having run consistently well since returning in May.
Class & Speed Card

CRYPTO CRASH put in a better display in fourth at Leopardstown after being dropped to a lowly mark. His best result to date came at this track when runner-up over further last summer. Thegooseiscooked was gambled on in another Leopardstown contest before finishing third, so she should have a say in this company. Step To Somewhere drops back in trip and has been eased 4lb by the handicapper. She has two placed efforts in the book which will stand her in good stead. Princess Rabab was last seen winning a handicap at Dundalk in March last year. This Highland Reel mare has changed stables and is worth a market check on her return to action.

If sustaining the improvement shown at Leopardstown last time THEGOOSEISCOOKED may gain a belated success with Colin Keane aboard
Class & Speed Card

Having opened his account in classified company at Lingfield last month, Jack Langley warrants respect on his follow-up bid. However, a handicap mark of 54 does demand improvement from Simon Dow's gelding and the most solid proposition looks to be STINTINO SUNSET. The five-year-old posted a solid third at Windsor a month ago and she looks more than capable of scoring at this level. Charles Morin may fare best of the remainder.

A chance is taken that FIGHTING POET can stage the same revival he produced in this race last year, only this time go one better.
Class & Speed Card

The in-form Andrew Balding team has an excellent record at this venue and stepping up in trip may work the oracle for CASUAL ENCOUNTER following a respectable third over an extended 1m3f at Lingfield last month. Rob Hornby's mount is preferred to Zooks, who proved she stays the trip when not beaten far on her penultimate start at Catterick over 2m. Star Of Jupiter has dropped back to a mark 2lb lower than his last success and cannot be ruled out either.

It may be worth siding with the 3yo CASUAL ENCOUNTER who could be well suited by this greater stamina test.
Class & Speed Card

DIAMONDONTHEHILL supplemented his victory on the all-weather with a good second at Goodwood in May. The son of Al Kazeem is of strong interest off an unchanged mark and a seventh career victory may beckon. The biggest danger may emerge from dual C&D winner Hodler, who has hit the frame on his last two outings, while Mafnood has also run with credit at this venue in the past.

Having shown some solid form in defeat in 3yo handicaps this year, MISS COLLADA is taken to post her first win of the season.
Ths is the racecard key.
