There were 55 Races on Saturday 12th July 2025 across 8 meetings. There was 8 races at Dundalk, 7 races at Limerick, 7 races at Newmarket, 7 races at Ascot, 7 races at York, 6 races at Chester, 6 races at Salisbury, 7 races at Hamilton, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

A five-time winner at this track, THE HIGHWAY RAT has every chance of adding a sixth success. Rated as high as 108 in his prime, the Andy Oliver-trained seven-year-old can always be relied on to run his race at this venue. In excellent form since returning on turf at the start of the season, he can be expected to continue that improvement now back on his favoured surface. In a race where a strong pace is virtually guaranteed, Ben Coen can pick up the pieces late on. Runner-up in a Listed race here last October. Revoke would have every chance if able to replicate that form. Eclairage is a speedy filly that shouldn't be discounted from her favourable low draw.

A lot in with chances but REVOKE is returned to the C&D of her most impressive run and she can put two underwhelming efforts behind her
Class & Speed Card

NEVER SHOUT NEVER is a generally consistent sort and gained a second win over the minimum trip when getting up close home at Dundalk last December. The selection has filled the runner-up spot twice on turf this season including over a similar distance at Listowel last month. No Alibi narrowly opened her account at the second attempt in Cork and is an obvious threat, while Gran Habano and Ja'marr are others to consider. The latter won twice over a mile at Dundalk last year and it will be interesting to see how he copes with this drop in trip.

No Alibi will be popular but she is taken on with NEVER SHOUT NEVER, who looks as if this longer trip will suit.
Class & Speed Card

Some powerhouse stables are represented and this looks a very decent maiden. However, with five winners since 2017, Charlie Appleby has farmed this race and could again hold the key if SNOW LIGHT lives up to the billing as the choice of William Buick over her stable companion, Dancing Flower. The chief threat to the selection could be Darkwing, a daughter of Frankel, whose dam was a Group 2 winner the same yard/connections. New Vega and Fan Me also warrant betting checks.

All the stars align to suggest SNOW LIGHT will be very competitive in a maiden Charlie Appleby has farmed in recent years.
Class & Speed Card

ANASHHAD and Crest of Fire boast similar profiles and are suggested as the pair to focus on. The latter built on his Newbury debut to finish second to a colt of huge potential in a decent-looking novices' event at York a fortnight ago. He should have lots more to offer. However, Roger Varian's colt showed distinct promise on his introduction - also on the Knavesmire - and already looks ready for tackling this additional yardage. Stepping up a furlong looks a perfect fit for the son of Mohaather at this stage. Mogbbel and Titanck are interesting newcomers to consider.

Mogbbel could be the newcomer to note. ANASHHAD and Crest Of Fire bring experience and have run into useful rivals.
Class & Speed Card

Recent Bellewstown runner-up ERIC LOCK can step up one place here. A winner on turf at Down Royal in May, the Noel Meade-trained gelding is now just 1lb higher. However, once taking his apprentice riders' claim into account, the son of Advertise looks very well treated. Jockey Emily Grifferty was also in the saddle when the three-year-old finished second at this track in April. That form has been seriously boosted subsequently with the winner now rated 20ib higher. Topweight Just Before has to be of interest in first-time blinkers. A consistent filly in recent months, she looks well treated off 74. Colin Keane looks a significant booking on Cork sixth Senti Qua.

Well beaten in five handicap starts, JUST BEFORE, was only 1l behind last time. She can put in a bold bid in first-time blinkers
Class & Speed Card

A fine fourth in the Jersey at the Royal meeting, Remmooz is sure to have his supporters now switched to a handicap for the first time. However, the vote goes to OLD COCK, who pounced late to defeat Sisyphean over C&D in May. Now four from seven on turf, the progressive son of Calyx could have plenty more in the locker and a 4lb rise looks fair. Blue For You has won the previous two renewals of this contest, the latest from 1lb higher, and he is entitled to the utmost respect.

Owen Burrows won this with a 3yo in 2018 and the unexposed REMMOOZ is the pick now he's up in trip. Old Cock is a big danger.
Class & Speed Card

ZARAGOZA won a 19-runner Curragh handicap off a rating of 58 over a similar trip last summer and may have found a good opportunity to add to his tally. The Dermot Weld-trained gelding shaped well when third to Devil's Angel at Navan and again kept on well behind Carrigans Grove in a Naas handicap that has been working out well. Spirit Of Eagles has dropped to an attractive mark and enters calculations on her second at Down Royal last time. Mark's One has been far from disgraced in two outings for the Clearys this term, while the veteran Tynamite has gained all six career wins at Dundalk but ran a cracker over a mile here last month.

MARK'S ONE was unlucky not to finish closer at Fairyhouse last month and may be able to get his head in front off 2lb lower
Class & Speed Card

MISS NIGHTFALL was the subject of one of the biggest betting plunges of Royal Ascot week when she was backed into favouritism for the Sandringham. Despite only managing to finish sixth in that race, she wasn't beaten far and it was a most encouraging effort on the basis of it being just her second run in a handicap. Bountiful (11th) and Saariselka (18th) appear held on the face value of the Ascot form and with that in mind, the Kensington Palace Stakes winner, Miss Information, is forwarded as the danger to selection, although dropping in trip off 6lb higher asks more of her.

The 5yo HAVANA PUSEY is a mare on the up and she earns the vote ahead of the unexposed 3yo Miss Nightfall.
Class & Speed Card

HAATEM's success in the Wolferton over 1m2f at Royal Ascot carries substance and having also won last year's Craven Stakes at Newmarket, this versatile colt shouldn't have much of an issue with dropping back to a mile. Quddwah is expected to benefit from a drop in class after struggling to land a blow in the Queen Anne, while the impressive Buckingham Palace winner Never So Brave completes the shortlist.

Haatem is a solid second choice behind NEVER SO BRAVE (nap) who took his form to a new level in winning a handicap here last month.
Class & Speed Card

With the form of the Cork maiden in which he finished fourth on debut working out well, SIDNEY REILLY can open his account. Very well supported for that contest, the Andy Oliver-trained gelding was outpaced before staying on strongly inside the last furlong. Although that race was run on soft ground, connections must clearly feel that the son of Cotai Glory will handle this quicker surface. If doing so, he is very much the one to beat. Having caught the eye on debut at Naas, De Boode is an obvious danger. Stable second string on that occasion, Colin Keane takes the ride now. Limbocall should be capable of stepping up on two promising opening runs for Michael O'Callaghan.

This race boils down to three and SIDNEY REILLY makes the most appeal following his fourth on debut at Cork when looking inexperienced
Class & Speed Card

Although only victorious once so far this season, JM JUNGLE has undoubtedly been on an upward curve and looks to be well worth his place at this level. He seldom runs poorly on the Knavesmire and might prove up to the task following another fine second over C&D. Grand Grey and Washington Heights both contested Group 1 sprints at the Royal meeting last month and must be respected, while Star Of Mehmas continues to run well at this level and she could be thereabouts too.

Handicaps have been JM JUNGLE's bread and butter for several seasons but he's well worth his place in this higher grade.
Class & Speed Card

ANGELIGHT may have been undone by the combination of soft ground and an extended 1m1f at Gowran last time and a reproduction of her previous close fourth over a mile at Naas may be good enough. The form of that race has been working out quite well and she is now fitted with blinkers. Marlborough Place made a pleasing debut when third to Cold Hearted at the Curragh last month and the benefit of that experience plus this step up in trip should see him go close. Raykir has posted three consistent runs and, like the selection, connections now reach for headgear.

MARLBOROUGH PLACE (nap) should prove hard to beat stepped up in trip after a fine debut effort at the Curragh
Class & Speed Card

MORE THUNDER, who is 3lb well-in here, has won two of his three starts since joining William Haggas and was unlucky not to have completed the hat-trick when he was narrowly defeated in a tight finish to the Wokingham at Royal Ascot last month. The son of Night Of Thunder stayed on readily that day and this additional furlong is well worth exploring given he ran over further when trained by Sir Michael Stoute. The Wokingham third, Ten Pounds, is closely matched and is a serious threat to the selection. Akkadian Thunder and Myal are also strong contenders.

Buckingham Palace runner-up AKKADIAN THUNDER is nicely ahead of the assessor and gets the vote ahead of Run Boy Run.
Class & Speed Card

Armed with a 13lb weight-for-age allowance and the potential to make good progress now he steps up to 1m6f, TREMORGIO is very tempting on these terms. Assuming he handles the stalls better than he did at Salisbury on his handicap debut last month, the son of Dubawi can readily build on that second-placed finish to a now 89-rated opponent. Creatif and Clockmaker are suggested as the main threats to the selection, although it would be dangerous to underestimate the front-running La Pulga, who is on a winning mark and can make this a searching test.

Back on better ground it could be worth chancing the ex-Prescott BRAVE KNIGHT. Godolphin's Tremorgio is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

This looks a good opportunity for recent Bellewstown runner-up RAMPAGE to go one better. Although raised 2lb for that narrow defeat, the Tom McCourt-trained gelding can race off a 7lb lower mark back on the all-weather. While arguably a better horse on the turf, the six-year-old has won off a higher rating over this course and distance in the past. In a race where there are question marks about a couple of his main rivals, he should take the beating. El Bello is of obvious interest with Colin Keane a notable booking. Very well handicapped on his best form, the grey is arguably better over 7f. Similar comments apply to the Tom McGuinness-trained mare Hastily.

This is open so it could pay to take a chance on ENDLESS DAWN who was beaten just a neck from a higher mark here in February
Class & Speed Card

ROMIEU looked desperately unfortunate not to win at Newcastle recently, having been denied a clear run for much of the final two furlongs. He kept on into second and is very interesting from an unchanged mark, especially with talented apprentice Elizabeth Gale booked to ride. Archivist made a successful start to his handicap career over the mile here a fortnight ago so appeals under the penalty. C&D winner Thunder Run isn't berthed favourably but he can't be underestimated, while others to note include See That Storm and Ancient Rome.

Progressive 3yo ARCHIVIST (nap) kept on well to win over 1m here a fortnight ago and is taken to defy a 5lb penalty now up in trip.
Class & Speed Card

KATIE ROSS has joined Gavin Cromwell this season and spoiled her chance by running too freely when reappearing here last month before not enjoying much luck in running at Down Royal. She finished well to take fifth behind The Bog Bank and is bred to appreciate this longer trip. Oiche Rua caused a 33/1 shock when scoring at Bellewstown last week, with Shahada Ace nearly four lengths behind in third, while Jasmine Affanalis is another to consider on her staying on second to In The Minus over 7f here last month.

JASMINE AFFANALIS ran on well over 7f here last time out and she gets the vote stepped up in trip
Class & Speed Card

FIFTH COLUMN caught the eye when seventh in the Britannia at Royal Ascot as he did well to get so close from a low draw. The son of Kingman clearly remains on a workable mark and may be the safest pick in a very competitive event. Bedouin Prince has shown plenty of ability in three starts to date, but an opening rating of 100 demands plenty from him on his handicap bow. Others to note are Secret Theory and Raafedd.

Charlie Appleby's excellent record in this affords Bedouin Prince plenty of respect but narrow preference is for RAAFEDD.
Class & Speed Card

ORANGE SKY made a strong impression when scoring on her handicap debut at Newmarket last month and now has a 8lb higher rating to contend with. The daughter of No Nay Never looks to have lots in her favour and can continue her progression. Chiringita boasts a similar profile after making her first start in a handicap a victorious one at Sandown and she could have a say, despite being 5lb higher. Star Of Dubai is the pick of the remainder.

All bar one of these come here on the back of career bests. ELECTRIFARHH has the potential to be very well handicapped.
Class & Speed Card

Topweight MORNING APPROACH looks well handicapped on a mark which is 1lb below her last winning rating. Given that that latest success came over this course and distance, there are no concerns on either of those scores. A three-time Dundalk winner, the Willie McCreery-trained mare can always be relied on to give her running at this track. The Bog Bank, who has built up a good partnership with Alyse Clarke, is another with decent claims. A dual winner here, the daughter of Epaulette won on her penultimate outing at Down Royal last month. Master Garvey and Glencullen are others that have run well at this venue in the past.

He has a bit to prove on the AW but DINAMINE is rated lower on this surface and has been in competitive form on turf.
Class & Speed Card

Al Qareem was an impressive winner of the Grand Cup over C&D a month ago and Karl Burke's gelding has to be respected once again. That said, marginal preference is for TABLETALK, who remains unexposed over this sort of trip and won the Melrose at this venue last season. He was far from disgraced in the Hardwicke last time and will find this easier. Samui and Subsequent are others to consider.

The consistent 6yo AL QAREEM won his second Listed race of the season when making all over C&D last month and holds leading claims.
Class & Speed Card

FLORESTA took a nice step forward from her debut at Dundalk when staying on strongly into third behind Delta over 1m4f at Fairyhouse. Johnny Murtagh's team are in good form as evidenced by a treble at Fairyhouse on Wednesday and she probably has most to fear from Tenoya, who has been prominent throughout when placed on both outings over 1m4f. Fitzroy Gardens and Monntie both finished well on debut and could improve significantly with that experience under their belt.

Though FLORESTA would ideally be better over another furlong, the 1m4f Fairyhouse maiden she was third in last time is the best form.
Class & Speed Card

ITALY created a big impression when winning on debut over 7f at Leopardstown in May and that form was boosted when the second filled the same position in the Chesham at Royal Ascot. With improvement highly likely, Aidan O'Brien's colt gets the nod. That said, Saba Desert has a similar profile and Charlie Appleby has won five of the last nine renewals of this contest. The shortlist is completed by Wild Desert and Moonfall.

This year's Superlative features an interesting clash between a couple of very promising once-raced colts in ITALY and Saba Desert.
Class & Speed Card

Runner-up on each of his last three starts, GAME POINT can record a deserved success. The Ger Lyons-trained son of Blue Point went closer than ever before last time, when going down by a neck in a big field at the Curragh on Derby weekend. Almost certainly just unfortunate to bump into a couple of decent rivals, there looks to be nothing wrong with his attitude. From a family that have done well on the all-weather, he could easily improve for this surface. Lombardi Trophy, who finished behind the selection at Leopardstown in April, looks the chief threat once again. Carthusian may also be capable of improvement in first-time blinkers.

Game Point and Carthusian are the dangers to LOMBARDI TROPHY who could be the one open to most improvement.
Class & Speed Card

NIGHT BREEZE made the frame in this class at Haydock on his latest outing and competes off the same rating. The five-year-old has a previous C&D victory to his name which aids his cause further and he will prove very tough to beat. Crystal Flyer struck in a handicap at Southwell before finding Group 3 company too much of an ask at York last time, but she might be worth another chance. Mount Atlas completes the shortlist.

The chief contenders appear to be NIGHT BREEZE and Mount Atlas, C&D winners who ran with credit last time out.
Class & Speed Card

GOING COMMANDO finished a respectable sixth here before posting a better effort when second in novice company at Chester. The winner of that race is now rated 90, so Adrian Keatley's charge looks potentially well treated for this handicap debut. Amazing Journey took a step forward to land a novice race at Chepstow and there should be more to come from him, while No Spritz No Party is another going the right way after winning a maiden at Pontefract.

Kevin Ryan is no stranger to success in this race so a chance is taken that a gelding operation does the trick with DACRES CROSS.
Class & Speed Card

The unexposed MOON ANGEL opened her account with a victory at Salisbury on her seasonal debut and first start for Stuart Williams' yard. Marco Ghiani could afford to ease her down in the final strides and the daughter of Time Test should have more to offer. L'Eagle Aid returned the determined winner at Newcastle and will likely remain competitive, while Percy Jones drops back in trip with a shout.

The lightly raced MOON ANGEL is taken to build on her comeback win, which came off the back of a nine-month layoff.
Class & Speed Card

SLIEVE BEARNAGH has won five times and the dual-purpose gelding has been placed twice on the Flat this year including over a similar trip here in April. He doesn't have too many secrets from the handicapper at this stage of his career but looks sure to give a good account. Stepdance carries a 7lb penalty after winning at Tramore on Tuesday, while Jurality has shown promise on a number of occasions this year and Nicola Burns is a positive booking. Together Aclaim often loses ground at the start but overcame that tendency to score over 1m2f at Cork on his penultimate start.

Not many of these can be easily fancied so the percentage call is to go with recent Tramore comeback winner STEPDANCE
Class & Speed Card

Symbol Of Honour won a Group 2 sprint at Haydock in May, but William Buick prefers supplemented stablemate Notable Speech, a dual Group 1 winner over a mile last year. The latter has the class to get involved on his first start over 6f, but another chance goes to INISHERIN. Not at his best behind Flora Of Bermuda (third) in the Group 1 Jubilee Stakes at Ascot, Kevin Ryan's sprinter had beaten the latter at York before that, and is taken to bounce back in first-time cheekpieces. Whistlejacket and Big Mojo are not out of it either.

The cards can finally drop right for FLORA OF BERMUDA (nap). Notable Speech and Symbol Of Honour are highly respected.
Class & Speed Card

Despite suffering an odds-on reversal at Roscommon last time, it could pay to give JANES HARBOUR another chance. Well supported to record a first victory on the Flat, the Joseph O'Brien-trained daughter of Camelot proved somewhat disappointing in the circumstances. Beaten less than two-lengths in a similar race over shorter at Ballinrobe the time before, it may well be that this proves to be her optimum trip. UK import Qamari has to be considered on her debut for trainer John McConnell. Third on her only run as a juvenile, she shaped encouragingly at Chelmsford on her latest start. Spring Dance has shown enough in two starts to suggest she can get involved.

A modest maiden and perhaps a good opportunity for SPRING DANCE (nap) who probably has the most upside of these after just two runs.
Class & Speed Card

Curran failed in his attempt to complete a hat-trick at Chester last month, but he still finished a fair third and isn't ruled out. Rock N Roll Pinkie justified favouritism at Nottingham and holds every chance, but RUSSIAN RUMOUR gets the vote. The eight-year-old returned to winning ways at Lingfield and is just 2lb higher, so she may be capable of completing a double.

The suggestion is CURRAN, who won twice over 1m6f last month and could still have untapped potential as a stayer.
Class & Speed Card

A competitive event in which preference is afforded to REDORANGE. The lightly-raced three-year-old produced a career best performance to finish third in the Palace Of Holyroodhouse over C&D last month, an effort for which he was subsequently raised 4lb. Clive Cox's charge has scope for further progress and could have too much for the likes of Holkham Bay, who drops in trip having finished a close-up fourth in the Wokingham latest. Others to note include Existent and Toca Madera.

Stall 1 is enough of a deterrent for Holkham Bay and perhaps new cheekpieces can spark a revival from WOODHAY WONDER.
Class & Speed Card

BANG ON THE BELL made all against the rail when scoring at Windsor in April. John Jenkins' six-year-old has drawn the inside rail here and another bold bid from the front is anticipated only 2lb higher than his Windsor success. South Parade enters calculations off her current mark back in this lower grade, while Street Life had been in fine fettle before disappointing at Haydock and could bounce back.

In first-time blinkers a chance is taken on DICKIEBURD, who ran well in defeat a few times here off higher marks last summer.
Class & Speed Card

WOODSHAW WHISPER made a winning start for Ger Lyons when justifying favouritism in a Dundalk maiden over an extended 1m2f and the form of his subsequent third to Starford at Gowran has worked out very well since. He should be suited by this step up in trip. Riding arrangements suggest Waterford Flow is the pick of Joseph O'Brien's pair, and he came home well from off the pace in an ultra-competitive handicap at Royal Ascot last time. Camevere has shown promise at Dundalk and was far from disgraced when fourth behind Angelo Pio on her handicap debut at Down Royal last month.

Not beaten far in a much more competitive Royal Ascot handicap over 1m4f last time, WATERFORD FLOW can get off the mark.
Class & Speed Card

Atlantic Sunset won over C&D last month, but he'll need to step up on that form raised 4lb and upped in class. CLAYMORE makes more appeal, as he can be forgiven a poor effort on soft ground at Chester, having finished runner-up on the Rowley course here before that. That form reads well in this context and a strong challenge is expected from the son of New Bay. A winner at Epsom in April, Asgard's Captain returns to this lower level with a shout.

The combination of a handy mark and significant jockey booking earns WHATHAPPENSINVEGAS the vote, ahead of Atlantic Sunset.
Class & Speed Card

The relatively unexposed QUICKSHOT is worth siding with on just his second start in handicap company. Sent off favourite when runner-up at this track in April, the Adrian Murray-trained colt has been absent since. Given his American pedigree, connections clearly feel that this half-brother to a Grade 1 winner is capable of much better on this surface. With Colin Keane booked for the ride, the son of Uncle Mo is almost certainly better than a mark of 67. Eighty Eight has yet to win over this trip but from an inside draw and, with a first-time hood applied, he will almost certainly try to make all. Church Mountain and Numidia are both worthy of consideration.

The interesting runner is QUICKSHOT for whom the race didn't go all that swimmingly when runner-up on his handicap debut here.
Class & Speed Card

Three-year-olds have won two of the previous renewals and that record could be enhanced further courtesy of TOKYO JOE. Ed Walker's colt didn't quite see out the mile at Southwell latest but the drop in trip should suit along with a switch to handicaps, while his penultimate effort would suggest an opening mark of 78 is lenient. War Howl recorded a comfortable success at Doncaster a fortnight ago and is respected from 6lb higher, along with Angel Of Rain, who didn't get the clearest of runs when third at the Town Moor venue last time.

This looks ripe for a 3yo winner and the unexposed GREAT is preferred to War Howl. Angel Of Rain looks best of the older horses.
Class & Speed Card

Filly One flew out of the gates and stormed clear to score by just over four lengths at Southwell. Provided the four-year-old transfers that form to turf, she ought to have a say but ABERAMA GOLD bounced back to form when making the frame at Ayr on Monday and lurks on an appealing rating. The eight-year-old has two previous C&D triumphs to his name and could be the way to go. Manila Scouse and Juan Les Pins are a couple of others to consider.

Filly One will be dangerous if transferring her AW form to turf but JUAN LES PINS can make amends for an unlucky defeat last week.
Class & Speed Card

The 2023 winner Holguin finished third in the Buckingham Palace at Royal Ascot and has solid claims. However, he has plenty to find on these terms with WITNESS STAND, who landed a Listed race over 7f at Newbury in fine style last term and is versatile in regards to the ground. Marvelman is not easily dismissed back at this level, given his yard has won the last two renewals.

Andrew Balding's MARVELMAN had an excuse at Royal Ascot and can bounce back with a bang.
Class & Speed Card

LITTLE MISS MAGIC showed a lot more when only finding a subsequent dual winner too good at Windsor and the assessor may have been kind to put her up just 1lb. The daughter of Calyx might only need to reproduce that level of form in order to go one better. My Boy Jack has been thereabouts in each of his last three outings, with two of those efforts coming in classified stakes, and he should remain competitive. The Cola Kid is another to keep an eye on.

A trappy race in which SILENT FLAME could be revived by the returning blinkers. Thank The Lord is next best.
Class & Speed Card

A taking winner over C&D at double-figure odds last time out, PINPOINT can prove that was no fluke by going in again off 4lb higher. The four-year-old has operated off much higher marks in the past and he is preferred to Carlisle second Stormy Pearl, who is dropping back in trip. Sixcor finished a creditable third at Musselburgh and is another to consider.

Top of the list is PINPOINT, who was a cosy winner with a visor added over C&D two weeks ago. Newyorkstateofmind is feared most.
Class & Speed Card

MIRACULOUS remains unexposed and he showed plenty of pace when a close fourth at Newmarket a couple of weeks ago. With that in mind, Roger Varian's gelding merits plenty of respect off the same mark here. Noble Victory is capable of going well if transferring his all-weather form to the turf, while Easy Peeler edges out Musical Angel and Queue Dos to be the pick of the remainder.

Fillies Queue Dos and Easy Peeler are high on the list but LORD ROXBY could still have more to offer.
Class & Speed Card

A Bit Of Spirit sprung a 28/1 surprise to beat subsequent winners on debut at Newbury and should mount a bold bid to follow up. However, his 7lb penalty might open the door for SHAHIK. The son of Showcasing changed hands for 120,000gns as a yearling and is a half-brother to a useful performer in Genealogy, so it would be no surprise to see him make an instant impression. Any market confidence behind fellow newcomer Wield would be interesting.

After running to a useful level on his Newbury debut, A BIT OF SPIRIT looks good enough to overcome a penalty in a novice race.
Class & Speed Card

A highly-respectable seventh in the Windsor Castle on just his second outing, this represents a significant drop in grade for UTMOST RESPECT and he can take advantage for a first career success. Victaz was last of four at Musselburgh but showed up for a long way and must enter calculations, along with Wonderful Friend, who displayed marginal progress from his first to his second start when fourth at Redcar.

This looks a good opportunity for UTMOST RESPECT, who sets a useful standard and should be hard to beat back in much calmer waters.
Class & Speed Card

LATYNINA arrives here on the back of two seconds in similar contests over 7f last month and it would be no surprise to see the daughter of Expert Eye go one better on this occasion. That said, Rye has also been knocking on the door of late and should not be underestimated as a result. The shortlist is completed by Spirit Of Jenny and I Can Imagine.

She is becoming very expensive to follow but LATYNINA did nothing wrong when a clear second at Lingfield three weeks ago.
Class & Speed Card

Swiss Lightning got off the mark at the same venue in April and is noted, but it may pay to side with PALIO DI SIENA. The son of Sioux Nation shaped with bundles of promise when occupying the runner-up berth at Ffos Las last month and, with normal progression, he could be the one to beat. Silent Storm appears best of the remainder.

The vote goes to SILENT STORM, who was fourth in a strong 7f Newbury novice on his debut in May.
Class & Speed Card

This can go the way of SACRED FALLS, who occupied the runner-up berth when sent off favourite at Carlisle last week and represents an in-form stable. The daughter of Dark Angel is only 2lb higher than for her last success, and it may be the relatively unexposed Chester third Top Juggler who gives her most to think about. Monday's Ayr winner Taygar and Monsieur Kodi are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

Several have claims but the vote goes to 3yo TOP JUGGLER, who resumed his progress with a close call at Chester last month.
Class & Speed Card

WHATSGOINGONMARVIN improved significantly when stepped up to 1m5f on his handicap debut at Ayr on Monday. The son of Camelot appeared to have plenty in hand on that occasion and is hard to oppose with his rider's claim negating the 6lb penalty. Tailorman and Polling Day are recent course winners to consider but they will need to find more off their new marks, while Bulldog Spirit completes the shortlist.

Bottomweight WHATSGOINGONMARVIN (nap) made a winning handicap debut when upped markedly in trip on Monday and can overcome a penalty.
Class & Speed Card

Second when not getting the clearest of runs over 1m here, SOUL DANCE had impressed on her previous start at Nottingham and stepping up in trip can bring about further improvement. Queen Of Thieves has yet to live up to her illustrious pedigree but this represents a steep drop in grade for the daughter of Frankel, while North Star arrives on the back of a promising third on her handicap debut.

All four have possibilities but SOUL DANCE made a good start to her handicap career at around 1m and can improve again over 1m2f.
Class & Speed Card

TWO AULD PALS (winner) had the beating of subsequent scorer Spanish Hustle (fourth) over C&D last month. Lucinda Russell's gelding is 1lb better off with that rival and is expected to confirm his superiority en route to further success. Unexposed three-year-old Talismans Time dug in to strike over 1m3f here last time out and he has plenty of potential now sent handicapping for the first time.

The vote goes to SPANISH HUSTLE, who has a record of 5-15 at Hamilton and was as good as ever when scoring here four weeks ago.
Class & Speed Card

LEXINGTON KNIGHT returned from a three-month break to register a determined success at Brighton in May and the form of that contest has worked out very well. A 6lb rise looks manageable for Richard Hannon's charge and he may have too much for Loving Look, who was a bit free when a respectable fourth over further at Sandown. Papagei cannot be ruled out either.

Preference is for class-dropper LOVING LOOK (nap), who may have been stretched by 1m6f and now drops back in trip.
Class & Speed Card

A poor draw wasn't enough to prevent A WAR EAGLE from scoring at Beverley last time out. Stall three here looks far more favourable and, from 4lb higher, the lightly-raced gelding could repeat the dose. Five-time course winner Shine On Brendan arrives on the back of a creditable Musselburgh second and must feature prominently in calculations, while others to note include Criminal Shore and Kempton scorer King Of Fury.

The vote goes to the unexposed 3yo A WAR EAGLE, who was a comfortable winner at Beverley and is open to more progress back up in trip.
Class & Speed Card

SHABU SHABU may have disappointed as an odds-on favourite at Ffos Las but he is best judged on his previous second at Leicester, where he had Emily Rebecca narrowly behind. James Ferguson's charge has a pedigree which suggests he will relish this step up in trip and he can break the maiden at the sixth time of asking. Grand Harbour was a well-beaten second when a warm order at Ripon, but he should have more to come.

Another chance is readily given to SHABU SHABU, who had a possible ground excuse when a beaten odds-on favourite on his latest outing.
Class & Speed Card

TOP GUN TINA and Keats House are both last-time-out winners, but preference is for the former after her comfortable success at Carlisle last week. David Thompson's mare has a 5lb higher mark to contend with, but should be up to defying it. Keats House only just prevailed at Beverley a day earlier, but still commands huge respect. Spring Festival looks best of the rest.

This looks highly competitive but ZEBRA STAR may be able to reverse Ayr placings with Straya and she gets the vote.
Class & Speed Card

REDONDO travelled powerfully when successful by a little under two lengths over C&D last month and is just 5lb higher. If the four-year-old remains in similar form, he could be the one to beat again. Gentle Warrior finished a respectable third at this venue last time and drops a furlong in trip, which looks a good move. Me And Bobby Mcgee sports first-time blinkers on his handicap bow and is another to note.

This can go to REDONDO (nap), who hit a personal best with his stylish win over C&D last month. Lights Go Down is feared most.
Ths is the racecard key.
