Beaten just half a length into fourth over this distance at Leicester recently, THE PUG has a long losing streak to overcome but this may be as good an opportunity as any. Another who has been running with credit of late is Cryptos Dream and Tony Carroll's mare is expected to be thereabouts. Inspiring Speeches drops back in trip, which may suit, and he takes in his first classified stakes.

C&D winner CRYPTOS DREAM posted a solid effort at Yarmouth last time and she's the selection, with The Pug second choice.

ORDER OF THE DANCE got hampered and shuffled back on his last outing at Ballinrobe and it looks fair to draw a line through that run. He had been placed twice previously, including a solid run to finish second off this mark at Clonmel. There looks to be a race in him off his current rating, and going a bit further now may help. Look Dont Touch ran well off a 1lb lower mark when fourth at a big price at Punchestown last month and he is entitled to play a big part here. Portarlington didn't run badly in claiming company last time and is on a competitive enough mark.

Tony Martin's GORTMORE LADY makes most appeal after an encouraging effort at Tipperary earlier this month.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Tim Easterby has won two of the four runnings of this race and is back for more with MONICA'S LAD, who may do better in first-time cheekpieces and upped a furlong. Well beaten at Carlisle last month on soft ground, a mark of 52 seems fair enough for his nursery debut. Imso Friendly has top weight after her fifth in a Chester seller and she could come out second best. Dunkeld Dreamer might follow them home.

Tim Easterby won this last year with a nursery newcomer wearing first-time cheekpieces and MONICA'S LAD is taken to do likewise.

An eyecatcher when second on his first run for new connections at Lingfield last month, ABATE has dropped to a very workable mark, which may be enough to see him regain the winning thread at a track where he has scored before. Successful over C&D in May, Glory Fighter is better than he showed most recently at Haydock, while Hurt You Never has been running respectably since a victory at Hamilton early last month.

After running well in a better race at Newmarket last Friday, JACQUELINA might be able to regain the winning thread.

PERSIAN DAUGHTER looks to have been found a nice opportunity here. The Westerner mare was no match for a decent sort in Avondale at Bellewstown recently, but it was still a solid effort and she had a couple of horses with decent marks behind. This looks an easier task. Portetta has been knocking on the door and it was a good run to finish second at Tipperary on her penultimate outing. She seems like the obvious danger. Clongorey showed some promise last year and is another who has to be considered.

A chance is taken on WILD MANDATE who hinted that this sort of trip might suit when fourth over 2m2f at Sligo in May

The three runners to have seen a racecourse haven't shown too much so far, with Wolverhampton seventh Dragon Spin the most interesting, and this may go to a newcomer. PEARL FORTUNE is a daughter of multiple Group 1 winner Blue Point and she changed hands for 80,000gns at the Craven Breeze-Ups. She looks the part on paper and with the Karl Burke horses in good form, she can get the better of Mehmas filly Tanaka, who might come into her own over further later in the season.

Those who have raced haven't achieved much and the selection is newcomer PEARL FORTUNE, a half-sister to seven winners.

Dropping back to 5f didn't seem to suit ECLIPSER when last of four at Yarmouth and she is much better judged on her previous success over this trip at Chelmsford. A mark of 70 could still underestimate her and the daughter of Arizona is preferred to Daretobedifferent, who has strong claims if bouncing back to the form of her third at Lingfield. A winner at Redcar in May but disappointing since, Willowinghurn can have a say in proceedings as well.

Black Endeavour is second choice on handicap debut behind ECLIPSER (nap) who should be suited by the return to 6f.

KAMIKAZ DU PLESSIS opened his account in good style at Wexford and this looks like a nice race in which to bag a follow-up win. The Karaktar gelding ran well on his racecourse bow when going down by half a length to Net Boy in Ballinrobe and the step up in trip helped last time. Kilbuny Supersonic was impressive when also scoring at Wexford on her last start. There is a bit of a question over what she beat, but she couldn't have done it any easier. Derryville wasn't disgraced in a mares' event at Kilbeggan last month and is another to consider.

Gordon Elliott's KAMIKAZ DU PLESSIS (nap) looked a nice prospect when winning at Wexford 11 days ago and he should be able to follow up

Quirke On Parole battled on to prevail by half a length over C&D and may prove popular as the only recent winner in the field. An added 2lb won't stop her going close once more but a chance is taken on the dropped-in-class THIS YEARS LOVE, who has three wins and a second from four starts at the track and is on a mark he has won off before. Time Tells All and Berkshire Phantom have each-way claims.

Course specialist THIS YEARS LOVE has dropped to his last winning mark and looks the one to be on here. Homeland is second choice.

SECRET SONATA, who represents an in-form yard and is a half-sister to last year's Musidora winner Secret Satire, looks the part on paper and could be well placed to make a successful debut. As both Just Queen High and Spendmore Lane need to improve on what they have shown so far, perhaps the sprint-bred newcomer Margoritatime could be the one to give Andrew Balding's filly the most to think about.

Spendmore Lane is second choice on yard debut but SECRET SONATA is out of a Listed winner and can make a winning start.

Course form here is always a plus and SIGHTS UNSEEN can strike back at the venue. She was a good winner over this trip here back in May and ran a solid race to finish third over fences at Tramore a week later. After a little break and off just 5lb higher, she has to have a big shout. Rose Of Kalanisi was a game winner when landing a gamble over in Kelso back in April and looks an obvious danger. Tiny Angel, fourth behind the selection here in May, could be one for a place.

C&D winner SIGHTS UNSEEN ran respectably on chasing debut since that success and can win again off a 5lb higher mark.

POLE STAR accounted for a decent field when winning a valuable three-year-old handicap over 1m6f at Haydock earlier in the month and Charlie Johnston's colt is hard to oppose against some exposed rivals. That said, Charging Thunder was third in the Northumberland Plate when last seen and that form gives him a big chance. Sax Appeal and Zinc White could be vulnerable, but the former is the pick of that pair.

Surprised looked to be going the right way before struggling on slower ground at Hamilton and can't be ruled out with any confidence, but INVISIBLE may edge affairs. The daughter of Pinatubo finish third in maiden company at Wolverhampton in May and given the first two home are both now rated 84, Tom Clover's filly looks potentially well treated for her handicap debut.

It may be worth chancing that TWO B TANNED has been freshened up by a break. Surprised drops in grade and is second choice.

A mare-in-form like MISS GITANA is difficult to ignore. Granted, her win at Tramore last week was achieved on the level, but the Nathaniel youngster has already displayed a reasonable level of ability as a hurdler. The former Sir Mark Prescott inmate has got placed course form too, after a third behind subsequent winners Queenofthelodge and Billie Frechette in May. That reads really well in the context of this event and, though she'll need to brush her jumping up, an always to the fore approach from Kevin Sexton could prove successful. Gerald Quinn is two-handed. After her Perth second placing Tamlaght Eyes looks interesting, while Evies Court shouldn't be too far away either.

Third over a bit shorter at this track in May, MISS GITANA has since won on the Flat at Tramore and could get off the mark over hurdles

C&D runner-up SHANIA is improving with every start and should have the capacity to go one better. The sizeable daughter of No Nay Never was just edged out by three-quarters of a length here a year ago and with a reproduction of that form on her return, Donnacha O'Brien's filly should be scoring in this contest. The fairly consistent Quatrain can be taken to follow her home, on only her second start for Ken Condon. She is much more exposed than her rivals, but a return to maiden company may prove beneficial. Sister Lily took a step forward from her debut when fourth at Leopardstown. She can continue to improve and may hit the frame.

Being off for 12 months is hardly ideal but SHANIA is a scopey filly with more upside than all her rivals.

It's not difficult to imagine CLOSUTTON being a useful type. The Shantou mare hails from a family that has served Willie and Patrick Mullins really well over the years and is an own-sister to Airlie Beach, a Grade 1-winning hurdler and also successful at Listed level on the Flat. The Mullins team know where they stand with Walks The Talk given that she finished third to their Liadawn here last month, and the point-to-point winner may now be aided by the addition of a hood. Another that started in that sphere, Passing Diamond is not to be underestimated.

Named after the locality where Willie Mullis trains, CLOSUTTON is likely to be primed on debut and can get off to a winning start.

Liberty Bird has won on fast ground at Beverley and off this mark in a lesser race at Southwell but a chance is taken on triple winner SHIELAS WELL, who has the benefit of in-form apprentice Elizabeth Gale in the saddle. Grant Tuer's filly pulled too hard to get home at Leicester but, if she settles, she might get her head back in front. Atmosphere can also go well with Jack Callan in the plate and the recent Beverley third could be the one for the forecast.

Stephen Throne reaches for blinkers for OCEAN MANIFEST, who is the standout on official ratings. The son of Siyouni was a creditable second on debut when with Michael O'Callaghan, but hasn't really progressed. He may have needed his reappearance run in the Curragh on stable debut and can turn the tables on Lady Pagasa, who was seven and a half lengths in front of the selection when second in a Naas maiden last year. Although this performance inspired some hope, she has since failed to gain her first success at short odds and returns for her seasonal debut. Powerful Hook Head took a step forward in Dundalk on Saturday, while Piatra Neamt should improve from her decent introduction last year.

A chance is taken that OCEAN MANIFEST might tap into the promise of his debut last year now that blinkers are fitted.

With the likelihood of plenty of early pace, it may set up nicely for MWAKI, a solid second at Yarmouth off this mark, despite pulling too hard. If he can find early cover, a strong finish looks on the cards. Sinj may be allowed to bowl along over this trip and might be the one they all need to catch, although Calafiori could potentially pester her on the front end.

Headgear returns for LIVERPOOL STAR and he made some steady late headway at Pontefract two weeks ago. He looks a likely improver.

This contest revolves around the treble-seeking OICHE RUA, who has beaten five of her reopposing rivals already. She managed to catch Spanish Temptress to win by a cosy length and a quarter after conceding first run at Limerick on Saturday. Ado McGuinness' filly is taken to uphold that form, even considering the burden of a 7lb penalty. Spanish Temptress should yet again run her race and may get closer with the help of Colin Keane. Midnight Stagger can figure for Mark Fahey on stable debut after moving from Jack Davison. The son of Galileo Gold is back on his last winning mark and any positive market signals would be interesting.

The manner in which OICHE RUA (nap) picked up to deny Spanish Temptress at Limerick on Saturday suggests she's one to follow.

With two runners apiece, Jessica Harrington and Joseph O'Brien launch a strong assault on this competitive heat. Harrington has won the last four renewals and MO GHILLE MAR is taken to repeat her win of 12 months ago. Without success in the interim, she is back to the same mark and can build on an encouraging effort at the Curragh recently. She is in stall three, the same gate she broke from last year. Annie's Angel catches the eye at the foot of the weights with new headgear on, while top-weight Elana Osario is another to consider.

Handicap debutante DENIM AND DIAMONDS rocketed home in a maiden last time and she didn't beat rubbish.

A little bit of a leap of faith may be required to row in behind FEUD, but the likely odds of reward make the well-bred son of Dubawi a tempting proposition. He looked a smart jumping prospect when he scored at the Galway Festival last summer. As it's transpired, he's only appeared once since, when last of those to complete the Grade 3 Grimes Hurdle recently. The positives are that he'll surely come on for that run, Dylan Browne McMonagle has been booked, the stable seems to be returning to form and his mark of 75 seems exploitable. On the back of a chasing success, Dark Note, at the foot of the weights, is a danger to all. Ragmans Corner should make a bold bid to supplement a Navan win.

Narrow preference is for LA VITA NOVA who shaped as though her turn was near the last twice at the Curragh

ROYAL HOLLOW and Arch Empire meet again after finding A Dream To Share too quick at Leopardstown last month. Arch Empire has been in action since, when beaten by Cheltenham Festival winner Lark In The Mornin at Bellewstown. Royal Hollow was a length and a half in front of him at Leopardstown and is taken to confirm that form, which may be good enough to secure another success for the in-form Andy Slattery team. Aidan O'Brien's sole runner on the card, the 97-rated Mont St Michel, is obviously a standout with that sort of official assessment. Putapoundinthejar and Young Churchill can at least contend for positions in the frame.

Ballydoyle's MONT ST MICHEL will be very hard to beat if repeating the level of form he showed behind Kyprios last time out

C&D winner DUMFRIES has already seen off the challenges of few of these in past encounters and looks the percentage call, with fellow track-and-trip winner Langholm feared most. Michael Dods' nine-year-old has slipped to an attractive rating and, armed with a 1lb pull in the weights, he has a solid chance of at least reversing last week's Catterick form with Without Delay. Korroor is another with each-way possibilities.

Slight preference is for DUMFRIES who has been in good form over this trip on fast ground this year.
