SPARKLING PINK failed to see out the 7f trip at Lingfield last time. The daughter of Due Diligence had fared better when runner-up over today's distance at Brighton before that and looks on a fair mark for her nursery debut. Baggot Street also returns to 6f with a shout, having finished third in a nursery at Kempton last week, while Crystal Aurora placed in a selling race at Chester when last on the turf.

Off a seemingly very workable opening mark, SPARKLING PINK is particularly interesting. Supreme Dancer is second choice.

Having returned to form with a respectable third at Chelmsford last month, this could prove a suitable opportunity for PENN AVENUE to open her account. The daughter of Mohaather shouldn't have any issue reverting to turf and makes grand appeal racing off an unchanged mark. Solid recent form is thin on the ground, with handicap debutants Lilac Wine and Good Shot also noted.

A chance is taken on AL BAAREZ, who is unexposed and made a good turf debut when beaten just over 1l at Windsor ten days ago.

MUHAAJIM took a big step forward when finding only one too good at Windsor. Outpaced by the winner in the final furlong, this extra test of stamina should suit and William Haggas' colt will likely start a warm order in this company. Twilight Safari was doing his best work in the closing stages over today's distance at Chepstow on debut. He looks a likely improver, with Invincible Shadow perhaps proving best of the rest.

The standard set by MUHAAJIM is fairly useful. Twilight Safari is the chief threat.

Miss Dandylion supplemented a close-up second at Brighton with a breakthrough victory there last month. Jamie Osborne's filly must enter calculations off 3lb higher, although she must prove her stamina going up in trip. With that in mind, EDVARD GRIEG rates a more solid proposition after scoring with something in hand over 1m4f at Beverley recently. Monkmoor Pip is also noted.

Only four of these can be seriously fancied and EDVARD GRIEG (nap), who has no issues with turf or this trip, is the most solid option.

Last year's winner of the Sandringham on fast ground at Ascot, SOPRANO is penalised 3lb for winning a Listed race at Kempton in March. However, she beat a subsequent Group 2 winner on that occasion, so that may not be enough to anchor George Boughey's filly in this company. Charlotte's Web has shown progressive form on the all-weather since last in action on turf. She has a shout on today's terms, as does Sparks Fly, who finished a respectable third in a Group 3 at Epsom last time.

The suggestion is IMPERIAL QUARTER, who looks interesting on her peak form. Charlotte's Web ties in with that filly.

Having filled the runner-up berth at Kempton and Redcar, CAPTAIN BRETT scored at Yarmouth 11 days ago. A 6lb rise from the assessor looks manageable for David Simcock's progressive three-year-old and he's fancied to double his tally. Last month's Bath fourth Cherry Cola lurks on a dangerous mark and could be ready to strike. She is feared most, ahead of Charles Morin.

Recent winning hurdler Silk And Steel has possibilities but CAPTAIN BRETT looks more than capable of finding another race.

Having not enjoyed the best of runs on his fourth-placed effort at Epsom last month, compensation could be on the cards for ROUSING ENCORE. Ruth Carr's charge is likely to prove popular racing off an unchanged mark and is taken to repel City House. The four-year-old is likely to find this easier than his latest effort in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot and isn't taken lightly. Rohaan is the pick of the remainder.

There could still be further progress to come from MUSICAL TOUCH, who is first choice ahead of in-form Rousing Encore.

First-time cheekpieces may eke out some improvement in Saeculamation, who makes his nursery debut, while Redditizio is another expected to go well off a light weight. This is a tricky puzzle for punters to solve and, with that in mind, only a tentative vote goes to SHETAKESTHEGOLD, who showed some promise on her three runs to date and is likely to step forward following a two-month absence.

None of the five have been involved in a finish and SAECULAMATION is just a tentative choice ahead of Shetakesthegold.

The daughter of Cracksman arrives on the back of a respectable second at Doncaster and an official rating of 70 is potentially lenient. Ribble River may fare best of the rest.

He improved from his Haydock introduction and likely has more to come, so should go very close despite having to concede weight all round. Armstrong represents a shrewd yard on debut and is a potential fly in the ointment for supporters of the selection, while Arjack is another to bear in mind.

The two newcomers are interesting but COMMAND THE STARS gets the vote to shrug off his penalty for Beverley.

The son of Cable Bay is now 10lb higher but, considering the manner of his latest triumph, he remains the one to beat. Amestris filled the runner-up spot in this grade at Haydock last month and is noted along with The Thames Boatman.

This is far from overloaded with early speed and May's C&D winner SO SMART could be the way to go.

Denis Hogan is two-handed here and perhaps his Seamie Heffernan-partnered MONO RIVER remains one to keep the faith with. It's disappointing that the Zarak gelding is still a maiden at this stage, but he has an official rating to give him every chance in this company and can show the benefit of a comeback effort at Roscommon recently. Given that he's a prolific winner and was victorious in this event a couple of years back, Magnetic North is sure to be a popular choice. Pachmena last competed on Derby weekend at the Curragh and will clearly find this level of opposition much less taxing.

Ted Walsh runners are ignored at one's peril at this venue, and FRIARY ROAD is the choice as he presumably builds towards something at the likes of Galway. The dual bumper scorer is unlikely to remain a maiden at this discipline for too long, and it'll be interesting to see if the addition of a tongue-strap can bring about some improvement. Back from a hurdling campaign, off a break, Jeaniemacaroney could prove more of a threat than the higher-rated Nelson Muntz.

The vote, though, goes to STAR MIND. She has been a beaten favourite the last twice, but hasn't done much wrong with second place finishes. Going up in distance can see the selection gain a deserved win.

James Owen's gelding produced some useful form over hurdles last season and looks a winner in waiting over the larger obstacles. Sovereign Star made it second-time lucky over fences at Bangor and a 3lb rise in the ratings shouldn't prevent another bold bid. Rock House is noted too.

AEIH outran her odds of 33/1 to finish second on her debut at Lingfield last month and the daughter of Coulsty is likely to have more to offer. If David Loughnane's youngster can take a step forward from that effort, she will prove hard to beat. Court Of Stars finished fourth on her introduction at Doncaster and needs considering on only her second career start. Any market confidence behind newcomer Raspoutine would be interesting.

Aeih is entitled to improve, but slight preference is for COURT OF STARS, who looked to need her opening Doncaster experience.

Declan Queally's new recruit HAWKESBURY LEGEND might be capable of providing connections with a quick return on investment. The former Kevin Philippart De Foy inmate began for the local handler in the first three-year-old hurdle of the season at Tipperary recently. Completely friendless in the betting on that occasion, the Nathaniel gelding put in a performance in keeping with market expectations. New headgear is deployed now, and a talented apprentice is booked. Encouragingly Hawkesbury Legend's previous win was gained at Brighton, so he ought not to have a problem with the demands of Tramore. Previous winners at the venue, Rockview Consort and Out On Friday, are among the others that need considering.

He's got plenty of time on his side yet, as a five-year-old, and he's still off a very workable mark in this sphere. Your Honor has slipped down the handicap and may be worth a chance back on a sounder surface.

A hopeful vote goes to SPINNING WEB who was consistent on the Flat in 2023 and won twice over fences earlier this year.

ILE DE JERSEY won eased down to complete a double at Worcester last month and is now back over the smaller obstacles. Nicky Henderson's mare struck in this sphere at Aintree two starts ago and is tough to oppose in her current form. Wbee made the frame in a warmer event at Cartmel in May and is one to take seriously. Imperial Merlin sports first-time cheekpieces and is another to note.

Marginal preference is for PRINCE IMPERIAL who hasn't done much wrong since joining Olly Murphy.

TWILIGHT GUEST followed a course and distance double with last month's success at Pontefract. Only 1lb higher today, George Margarson's rejuvenated five-year-old looks worth sticking with in his current frame of mind. Voix De Bocelli has also won at the track on a couple of occasions this year and he looks likely to have a say in proceedings, while Shady Bay won easily at Nottingham three days ago though was well beaten at this venue in May.

A tightly knit handicap can go to TWILIGHT GUEST, who's suddenly got the winning habit and can notch a third C&D victory of the summer.

One previous Tramore excursion yielded a close up third placing in a handicap hurdle for WALKING ON GLASS, way back in his four-year-old days in 2019. Now at the veteran stage and with vast experience under his belt, this looks a good assignment for Padraig Roche's charge. Sam Coen's claim can only be seen as a positive to the chances of the Big Bad Bob gelding, and his latest effort, when third in a Punchestown handicap hurdle, was encouraging. Lord Erskine is still doing his connections proud and seems sure to go well in his quest to repeat 2023's success in this marathon. Sequoiaspirit hasn't run on the Flat since last summer but he's not to be dismissed now in a first-time tongue-strap.

Apart from a poor Tipperary run, which can probably be excused, MAKAIAH has shown a level of form that gives her a leading chance

GETAWAY JEWEL travelled strongly when a five-length victor at Fakenham last month and the assessor may have been kind to only put him up 5lb. The 11-year-old remains on a workable rating and looks the one to beat. Fox Wallace occupied the runner-up berth at Stratford on her most recent outing and is only 2lb higher, so she is one to note. Rory's Story is another to watch out for.

The suggestion is GREENWAYS who didn't run at all badly from well off the pace last week at Cartmel.

The market will hopefully be illuminating with regard to the returning RAUZAN, but there's no doubt that the Australia gelding is attractive from a mark of 59 on his first run of 2025. He's two from three in his hurdling endeavours at Tramore, and he last competed in that sphere from a rating of 127. With Wesley Joyce aboard for the first time, the strong stayer may not be long about going on a winning spree to match what he did over hurdles last summer, when he won four on the bounce. Bynx, who won here over hurdles at the start of 2024 and the summer before that too, looks well placed to launch a serious bid, while Duke Otto appeals as a player as well.

This looks like an excellent opportunity for BYNX to open her Flat account at the venue that has been the scene of her two hurdle wins

A change of scenery seems to have worked the oracle for TURPIN GOLD, given the nine-year-old has won both starts since switching to Tom Lacey's yard. He's been raised 10lb for his latest victory at Huntingdon, but both the second and third have subsequently won, so that form has plenty of substance. Crystal Mer made a winning debut for his new trainer here and could pose a threat, while Pittsburg is not out of it either.

Having justified an avalanche of support on his stable debut, there's a good chance that CRYSTAL MER (nap) can deal with the 10lb rise.
