(8) Izzy's Grey 22/1, €10,000 3-y-o, Jukebox Jury gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to very smart hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 3m) Fingal Bay. Betting ought to prove a useful guide on debut.
Out of a half-sister to smart jumper Fingal Bay but probably best watched on debut.

Songo

(2) Songo 0.73/1, Developed into a fairly useful performer on the Flat last year, winning three times. Back over hurdles, scored with plenty in hand in a C&D novice 5 weeks ago. Will need to brush up his jumping but big player once more if doing so.
Off the mark over hurdles with easy win in uncompetitive C&D novice last month.

2nd (1) Donnie Azoff (5/1 -25%)
Donnie Azoff

5/1(-25%)
(1) Donnie Azoff 5/1, Fair winning hurdler (at 16.5f) last term who hasn't looked as convincing over fences to date, bad mistake 3 out and no threat thereafter when last of 3 at Uttoxeter (20f) 3 weeks ago. No surprise to see a better showing returned to timber.
Well beaten over fences this month but is a fair hurdler when on song.

3rd (5) Spitalfield (5/1 -25%)
Spitalfield

5/1(-25%)
(5) Spitalfield 5/1, Fair in bumpers (placed final 3 starts in that sphere) but made a discouraging start over hurdles when unseating fifth at Fontwell (21.7f) in May, jumping none too fluently. This ought to reveal more.
Came to grief on hurdling debut in May but was second in three of his four bumpers.

(7) Blackacre 16/1, Black Sam Bellamy gelding. Aided by a good position but still showed ability when third on debut in an 11-runner Ludlow bumper in April. Acquired by new yard for £17,000 in May and interesting to see where he figures in the market now sent hurdling.
Bought for £17,000 after coming third in Ludlow bumper in April; stable/hurde debut today.

(4) Premiumaccess 20/1, Sole success to date came over fences back in 2020 and largely been struggling in that sphere in recent months. Switch back to hurdling needs to have positive effect now.
Below best over fences lately but might cope better than some if the ground deteriorates.
LTO Selection:

14:10 Newton Abbot Maiden Hurdle (Class 3) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

SONGO won as an odds-on favourite should on his return to hurdles here last month and a reproduction of that effort may see Milton Harris' gelding add another C&D victory to his tally. This is the furthest Donnie Azoff has gone, but he can't be discounted now back from the larger obstacles and is feared most. Spitalfield's jumping let him down at Fontwell but still completes the shortlist.

Despite some hit-and-miss jumping, SONGO still proved a class apart when opening his account in this sphere in a C&D novice 5 weeks ago and, in the hope he's sharper in that department, a bold showing could be on the cards again under a penalty. Donnie Azoff, returned to timber, may emerge as the lead threat, with Spitalfield and Blackacre another couple to note.

Songo is an obvious starting point but the pick is DONNIE AZOFF, who has the form to pose a potent threat if back on song.

LTO Selection:

14:30 Ayr Maiden (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RED ZONE HERO built on a promising debut effort when filling the runner-up spot at Yarmouth 12 days ago, and the son of Starspangledbanner is fancied to go one better with further improvement on the cards. Milliethemollie has shown ability on both of her starts in Ireland and must enter calculations. Knicks could progress in first-time cheekpieces, while any market support for sole newcomer Jungle Jean would be interesting.

RED ZONE HERO has shaped well in maidens on his first 2 starts, and is going to be very hard to beat in what looks an ordinary field otherwise. Newcomer Jungle Jean is bred very much for speed and she could pose a threat if the market speaks in her favour.

Newmarket challenger RED ZONE HERO went close at Yarmouth on his second start and he's the one to beat today.

Unexposed chaser who is in good form and has claims on this step back up in trip.
LTO Selection:

14:45 Newton Abbot Handicap Chase (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

JONY MAX found only a subsequent winner too strong at Cartmel and Christian Williams' charge is fancied to register a first success of the season off only 2lb higher. Easkey Lad found the Summer Cup at Uttoxeter too hot to handle, but was progressive at Ffos Las prior to it and better is expected in these calmer waters. He could give the selection most to think about, ahead of Manintheshadows and O'Faolains Lad.

HUNTING PERCIVAL was a winner over hurdles at Stratford on his penultimate outing and proved himself just as good over fences when second there on his latest outing. He's fancied to go one better on just his third chase start, with Easkey Lad, who was in fine heart before being meeting much tougher opposition last time, and the consistent Jony Max also much respected.

The vote goes to JONY MAX, who has found more progress this summer and was only narrowly denied in a similar race at Cartmel last time.

LTO Selection:

15:05 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SEE MY BABY JIVE once again appeared to have something in hand when successful over C&D last week and Donald Whillans' mare still looks ahead of the handicapper, off just 2lb higher. Zegos Surprise competes off a 4lb lower figure than for her recent runner-up effort at Ripon and could give the selection most to think about. The unexposed Bloomin Robbery should appreciate this return to 6f and makes each-way appeal.

SEE MY BABY JIVE hasn't looked back since blinkers have been applied and can complete a quickfire C&D 4-timer. Carribean Sunset, third to the selection here 3 weeks ago, is second choice ahead of Katie Scott pair Thaki, the mount of Hollie Doyle, and Elladora.

The thriving mare SEE MY BABY JIVE made it 3-3 in the blinkers (all over C&D) when scoring here last Monday and can land the four-timer

LTO Selection:

15:20 Newton Abbot Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ZABEEL CHAMPION justified strong support when defying a 192-day absence at Perth and should take some stopping off only 3lb higher. Nibras Gold had to settle for third when sent off at odds-on at Worcester, although first-time cheekpieces might eke some improvement out of David Pipe's five-year-old and it's too soon to be writing him off. Sisterandbrother has been raised 4lb after going down by just a neck at Market Rasen, but he can't be discounted either.

SISTERANDBROTHER resumed his progress over hurdles when second at Market Rasen last time, losing out by only a neck, so he is taken to go one better with more still to offer in this sphere. Clearance has run well at this C&D on his last 2 starts and is respected, while Zabeel Champion also merits consideration.

The most interesting runner is arguably RIDGEWAY, who has lost his way over fences but reverts to hurdling on a very attractive mark.

15:40 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In an intriguing contest it may pay to side with NOVAK, who keeps on pulling out more as he rises up the handicap and is looking for his four-timer. The seventh furlong may suit him even better and he can see off Black Friday, who is dropped in class off what looks a favourable mark. Gainsbourg did win last time and is hard to ignore, while American Affair is also of some interest on his better form.

NOVAK has gone from strength-to-strength in recent months, completing a hat-trick (all under this rider) over 6f here in June. With the return to 7f holding no fears he could well be up to completing the 4-timer. Fellow last-time-out winner Gainsbourg is a threat provided the blinkers prove as effective again. The Jim Goldie trained-pair Classy Al and American Affair are others in the mix.

Novak is strongly respected but slight preference is for GAINSBOURG, who cashed in on a reduced mark over 1m here last Monday.

Won at Worcester, despite jumping right; up 4lb but he's respected in new headgear.
LTO Selection:

15:55 Newton Abbot Handicap Chase (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LERMOOS LEGEND gained reward for some fine efforts in defeat with a two-length success at Worcester over 2m7f earlier this month. A 4lb raised mark may not be enough to halt his progression, especially as the application of first-time blinkers could bring about further improvement. Line Of Descent could only manage third at Stratford but will appreciate the longer distance and is feared ahead of Perth winner Enemenemynemo, who is now 2lb higher.

ENEMENEMYNEMO impressed with his jumping when going in at Perth and with few miles still on the clock he can follow up at the chief expense of C&D scorer Fat Sam, who rates a big threat. Both Glengeever and Line of Descent can have a say too in a competitive handicap chase.

Several have possibilities but the vote goes to FAT SAM (nap) who chased home a major improver in a Class 3 event over C&D last time.

LTO Selection:

16:15 Ayr Handicap (Class 3) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Paddy The Squire has been knocking hard on the door of late and produced his best effort last time when he was narrowly denied over this trip at Pontefract. CHRISZOFF is preferred, though, because he is on a roll at present and winning C&D form might just give him the edge as he goes in search of a fourth straight success. Knockbrex has struggled the last twice but has been highly tried and cannot be given up on yet.

A small field but quite an interesting race. CHRISZOFF is going the right way and can make light of a 6 lb rise for his C&D handicap debut success but fellow 3-y-os Knockbrex and Paddy The Squire are more than capable of giving him something to think about.

The way in which CHRISZOFF (nap) won over C&D on last month's handicap debut suggests a 6lb rise won't stop him.

LTO Selection:

16:30 Newton Abbot Handicap Hurdle (Class 2) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Tommie Beau reverts to timber following two comfortable victories over fences and commands attention, but MERRY BERRY is fancied to come on from her return to action at Worcester last month and gets the vote. She is now rated just 2lb above her last winning mark and seems to go well for Tom Broughton, who is back in the saddle. Dicey Rielly was successful at Worcester when sent chasing for her latest outing and can give the selection plenty to think about.

Like so many from the Peter Bowen stable DICEY RIELLY is thriving at present and might be able to defy the handicapper again. Recent C&D 1-2 Thirtyfourstitches and Eritage head the many dangers along with Tommie Beau, who returns to hurdles on the back of two chase wins.

Preference is for MERRY BERRY, who is on a good mark and may not have been suited by the switch to patient tactics last time.

LTO Selection:

16:50 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Camacho Star made it two wins from his last four when recording a three-quarter-length success over 7f at Catterick and is worthy of consideration from a 4lb higher mark. Fifty Sent continues to run well and looks set to have a say in proceedings once more, but preference is for AYR POET. Jim Goldie's charge has been knocking on the door recently and a seventh career victory does not appear to be far away.

CAMACHO STAR had the form of his latest Catterick win boosted when the runner-up won last week and he can make light of a 4 lb rise. Ayr Poet, Chinese Spirit and Fifty Sent head the many possible dangers.

Having been clear with a next-time-out winner when winning at Catterick, CAMACHO STAR may well be ahead of the handicapper.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A case can be made for several of these, but DONTMESSWITHME kept on to fill the runner-up spot over C&D on her racecourse bow and is taken to build on that. Only losing out to a more experienced rival on that occasion, the daughter of Court Cave can get the better of Alright Dai, who has joined the Neil Mulholland team since occupying the runner-up spot at Warwick in February. The unraced Full Monty is another to bear in mind.

FULL MONTY is with a shrewd stable and is related to a bumper winner, so he's worth chancing on debut, particularly if the market vibes are right. Dontmesswithme shaped well here on debut and merits respect and point-winner Ballela Blaze is worthy of respect.

It might be worth siding with Fergal O'Brien's striking newcomer FULL MONTY, who has plenty of bumper winners in his useful pedigree.

17:10 Galway Maiden Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MYSTICAL POWER makes his jumping debut and is hard to go past. He is regally bred being by Galileo out of the top-class mare Annie Power, and comfortably landed a bumper at Ballinrobe in May. Afterwards, jockey Patrick Mullins commented that he had plenty of jumping done and jumps well. He bids to enhance Willie Mullins' fine record in this race. There should be plenty more to come from Samui after he asserted to win over flights at Tramore last month. He is one of three representatives from Gordon Elliott's stable. John McConnell's Hypotenus was beaten into second at odds-on at Cork, but he also finished runner-up in a Grade 3 juvenile hurdle at Fairyhouse in February which shows what he is capable of.

A useful performer on the level in France, HYPOTENUS has shown more than enough in 2 of his 3 starts over hurdles to think a race of this nature is a mere formality and he gets the nod to put it all together and come out on top. Mystical Power, a son of Annie Power, needs considering now hurdling following success in bumpers, whilst Samui is another on the shortlist following his hurdles success at Tramore in June.

The John McConnell-trained HYPOTENUS has graded form and comes here after losing a Cork maiden hurdle he should have won

LTO Selection:

17:25 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Bonito Cavalo may have let down favourite-backers more than once this year but he has picked up his share of minor money, including at Musselburgh most recently. His day will surely come soon, but he might have to wait a little longer because Ayr regular SIXCOR was just denied in a blanket finish at Musselburgh last week and can compete off 1lb lower. Ski Angel and Genevieve are out of the handicap, but open to improvement.

SIXCOR signalled his return is imminent when finishing a close-up third in a stronger contest at Musselburgh 6 days ago and a repeat should see Linda Perratt's charge firmly in the mix once more. Bonito Cavalo remains a maiden but is largely holding his form well and he's a danger, along with Ski Angel.

Having shown signs of spark in the visor over 6f here, GENEVIEVE could benefit from the drop back in trip and get off the mark.

LTO Selection:

17:40 Galway Handicap Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DARKENED won this race by a nose last year off the same mark of 109. Daniel King claims 5lb and his mount returns to Galway after a solid third place on the Flat in Killarney, so another big run looks likely. A recent staying-on second in a Flat handicap at Leopardstown should have brought One Cool Poet to the boil. He certainly loves Ballybrit and has claims with James Smith taking 7lb off his back. Mark Fahey's stable is in terrific form and Largy Gift could be a useful recruit for him after he routed the field by 19 lengths in a Uttoxeter maiden hurdle last month. Boom Boom Boom was far from outclassed in fifth in a much higher grade at Listowel in June and the cheekpieces that were deployed then are retained.

Lots with chances but ONE COOL POET comes here on the back of a good recent run on the level at Leopardstown so is fancied to capitalise on an attractive mark returned to this sphere. Handicap-debutant Bukhill looks to have more to offer and heads the list of dangers, with last year's winner Darkened and handily-weighted Neveradullmoment two more who are firmly in the picture.

Preference is for BIG ISLAND, a previous C&D winner and who handles soft

LTO Selection:

17:52 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BAILAR CONTIGO has a 6lb penalty to shoulder after winning comfortably at Bath last time out and, if this race doesn't come too soon, he may well be good enough to follow up. Senseofentitlement is a big danger after running on well over shorter to score at Wolverhampton, though he is yet to win on turf. Storm Valley is also of interest and can go well if she improves for her Epsom fourth.

BAILAR CONTIGO is on a roll at present and a 6 lb penalty doesn't look sufficient to prevent him from completing a quick hat-trick. Storm Valley should be all the better for her recent Epsom fourth so could emerge as the chief threat to Stuart Williams' improver ahead of Wolverhampton 1-2 Senseofentitlement and Coloane.

Unexposed STORM VALLEY gets the verdict with this drop back in distance looking a positive. Bailar Contigo is feared most.

18:02 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

COFFEEMEANSCOFFEE is effectively only 3lb higher than for her ready success at Chepstow and the eight-year-old can land a quickfire double if none the worse for Friday's exertions. Bama Lama arrives in good heart and may be able to reverse here recent defeat by Louis Treize at the Monmouthshire venue now 1lb better off. Boarhunt, however, might emerge as the chief threat after finding improvement to strike in first-time cheekpieces in a classified event at Leicester.

A few with chances but Irish-challenger COFFEEMEANSCOFFEE is hard to side against given she can race off a 1 lb lower mark than when an impressive recent scorer at Chepstow. Bama Lama heads the list of dangers with Oisin Murphy back in the saddle, although in-form duo The Cola Kid and Kyber Crystal need factoring in too.

Preference is for the consistent BAMA LAMA who may reverse recent Chepstow placings with second choice Louis Treize.

18:10 Galway Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

There is plenty of rain forecast for Galway, so this seven-furlong assignment is going to take plenty of getting. AIR COMMANDER made a pleasing debut in second on yielding ground at the Curragh and ought to progress. He holds plenty of big-race entries and is related to two winners who were more than capable on testing ground. The 93-rated Mythology is sure to be popular. He was a close third on debut at the Curragh and didn't run badly at all in fifth when upped in class for a Group 2 at the same track. He was last seen finishing runner-up over this trip on soft ground at the Curragh, and he has plenty of notable entries. The penny dropped late for Beauty Thunder when sixth over 6f in Fairyhouse. This step up in trip promises to suit and he is by a sire who is getting soft-ground winners. Sea The Stars colt Sea The Polaris made a pretty penny at the sales and represents a strong stable on debut.

AIR COMMANDER made an encouraging start to his career at Gowran last month and is taken to improve past Joseph O'Brien's Mythology in a maiden which may develop into a straight fight between the pair unless the betting vibes are strong surrounding Paddy Twomey newcomer Sea The Polaris.

The selection is MYTHOLOGY who ran into a high quality Ballydoyle newcomer at the Curragh but was very much at home over this trip

LTO Selection:

18:22 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Smokey Malone is the only C&D winner in the field after he won off 1lb lower in May last year, and he will be running on strongly after competing over further recently. However, if THIRD BATCH gets home over this distance, she is potentially well handicapped. The booking of Tom Marquand catches the eye and, with plenty of placed form to her name, she could be the one. No Diggity was hampered before finishing fourth here on the all-weather and he may also go well.

THIRD BATCH didn't enjoy the rub of the green when seventh on the AW here last time and can capitalise on a 2 lb drop in the weights and gain a deserved breakthrough success now. Smokey Malone also wasn't seen to best effect when sixth at Nottingham so this C&D winner can have a say along with Shalfa who has made a positive start to life with Lydia Richards.

This looks tricky but SMOKEY MALONE gets the vote ahead of Shalfa and Third Batch.

LTO Selection:

18:32 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Although WITHOUT FLAW was unable to justify favouritism on her handicap bow at Beverley, Archie Watson's filly didn't enjoy the best of passages that day and this return to 6f may help bring about some compensation. Big Brown Bear makes his first foray into nursery company and is one to note off what looks a fair opening mark. Search pipped Big Brown Bear in a Brighton maiden and also enters calculations, along with Charlie Mason.

WITHOUT FLAW shaped well on nursery debut at Beverley last time and, back in trip, she looks open to improvement. Charlie Mason is a danger and Big Brown Bear is an interesting handicap debutant.

Reverting to sprinting looks the right move with handicap debutante TENYATTA and she edges the vote in an open race.

18:40 Galway Handicap 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TEED UP has a formidable record in Galway where his form figures across Flat and hurdle races read '21121'. The deluge of rain on Sunday is ideal for him and he had a perfect comeback race when second at Tramore just under three weeks ago. Ray Barron takes 7lb off his back, so he is on a very handy weight. Patrick Mullins ticked this race off last year and should have another good spin on former Swedish St Leger winner Lot of Joy who has been keeping very lofty company over hurdles. Hms Seahorse can get into a powerful rhythm on slow ground and is well in the hunt for a cheque. Line Out is entitled to come on plenty from his first run in more than 20 months when unplaced on the Flat at the Curragh. He has good assistance in the saddle.

TEED UP won over hurdles at this meeting last year and might be able to repeat the feat on the Flat on the back of a very promising reappearance second at Tramore 3 weeks ago. Willie Mullins has a cracking recent record in this so Scaramanga and Lot of Joy rate threats. The Very Man and Burren Song also make the shortlist.

A sporting selection goes to 2021 Cesarewitch winner LINE OUT who ran well at the Curragh after a long time off and should be spot on

LTO Selection:

18:57 Lingfield Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Magic Memories ran his best race yet when third over the Windsor mile, and he can go close dropped back a furlong in a first-time tongue-tie. MOLAQAB may have his measure, though. He ran on well after a slow start at Doncaster to be beaten a head into third and an added furlong here looks ideal. Cover Up has to be better than his debut sixth and is well worth a market check for any signs of confidence.

MOLAQAB improved again when third at Doncaster last time, in spite of the drop back in trip, so he can open his account returned to 7f. He is taken to get the better of Magic Memories, who is also open to further progress after his third at Windsor at the beginning of the month, with Cover Up completing the shortlist.

There isn't a great deal between the main players on the figures. Slight preference is for MOLAQAB, ahead of Little Hug.

19:07 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

FOUR ADAAY lost little in defeat when finding only one too strong at Chepstow and first-time blinkers could help the five-year-old notch a third success of the season. Better is expected from Trusty Rusty now dropped in class and distance, and it is important to note that Tony Carroll's mare boasts a fine record when fresh, with this 156-day absence unlikely to prove a barrier. She is feared most, ahead of Level Up.

FOUR ADAAY has been running consistently well this term, runner-up at Chepstow on her latest start, and, with first-time blinkers enlisted, she looks to hold sound claims once more under Oisin Murphy. Irish raider Hastily went off too hard at Chepstow 3 days ago but had been in good form previously and could bounce back. Level Up completes the shortlist.

Irish filly HASTILY could be interesting on this first attempt at 5f as she's not short of pace.

LTO Selection:

19:15 Galway Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

RHYTHM KING revels in heavy ground - which is likely to be a crucial asset, and has useful form. Runner-up as a juvenile over today's course and distance, he was unsuited by six furlongs at Naas in May and while might ideally prefer a mile as a three-year-old, his ability to excel on testing ground is key. The Snapper is similarly suited by testing ground and while he has recent form, is held by the selection on Bellewstown form in April and course form last October. Rio Largo is in good form and received a bump when beaten 9.75 lengths by the selection on heavy ground at Bellewstown. La Tulipe Noire ran well on recent reappearance run and while dropping in distance isn't ideal, coped with heavy ground as a juvenile. Lovejoy loves soft but was well beaten recently and is woefully drawn in 18 while Rumbled Again is drawn 17 and would prefer good ground. Biggerthanbigtime is long absent but has form on soft while Not Just Yet is ground-versatile but was reported to have 'never travelled' on a recent run. Rathbranchurch is trip and ground-versatile.

LA TULIPE NOIRE got firmly back on track following 6 months off when runner-up at Ballinrobe 7 days ago, likely to have pushed the winner closer still but for conceding ground around the home turn. She earns the vote in the hope a quick turnaround doesn't catch her out. Rhythm King is also of interest back from a break and needs considering. Rumbled Again and Rio Largo complete the shortlist.

Preference is for THE SNAPPER (nap) who has run well over shorter trips last twice but won over trip and ground at Cork in the spring

LTO Selection:

19:32 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

OTAGO kept on well in the closing stages at Epsom last time out, an effort for which he was subsequently dropped 1lb in the ratings. Jim Boyle's gelding is back on his last winning mark and it would be no surprise to see him to take a step forward. Covert Mission has yet to score on turf, but he's been given a chance by the handicapper and should not be underestimated. Bonus is another to consider.

Hard to be overly confident about any of the runners in this line-up, OTAGO perhaps making most appeal racing from his last winning mark after a notable mid-race move perhaps took its toll at Epsom last time. Roscioli is in decent heart and can make the frame again, with Covert Mission also interesting if able to translate his AW efforts.

Off a handy mark returned to the scene of her peak 2023 effort, ALYARA may be the answer. Otago is second choice.

19:42 Ffos Las Maiden (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Art De Vivre built on her racecourse debut to fill the runner-up spot over 1m6f at Goodwood but while that was a step in the right direction, she shaped as though she could benefit from a stiffer stamina test. Therefore, the vote goes to LADY BOBA, who lost little in defeat when a staying-on second over 1m2f at Chelmsford and the daughter of Lope De Vega might have a touch more speed. The unraced Caravanserai completes the shortlist.

LADY BOBA shaped well on her seasonal return when second at Chelmsford City so Ralph Beckett's Lope De Vega filly is fancied to build on it and open her account at the chief expense of Art de Vivre who can also have a say on the back of her Goodwood second. David Menuisier's newcomer Caravanserai offers potential, especially if the market vibes are positive.

This looks between LADY BOBA and Art De Vivre, who posted similar RPRs in their latest defeats.

19:50 Galway Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

EXPELLIARMUS is unproven on testing ground but is unexposed. She showed promise at Navan in June and while well beaten when ridden from off the pace over a mile at the Curragh subsequently, received minor bumps and was eased when all hope was lost. Connections claim 7lb and her half-brother Common Practise improved dramatically at this distance and, notably, liked soft ground. Teorie has consistent maiden form and while the form of his soft-ground Leopardstown win is nothing special, is nonetheless interesting on handicap debut. Immutable revels in testing ground and is in-form but has plenty weight while Voice Of Reason narrowly won a recent maiden but encounters testing ground for the first time. Youcrackmeup was 9lb out of the handicap when running well at Limerick but has been hit by the handicapper and is without her 5lb claimer, dropping in distance and reverting to testing ground. In-form Booyea would prefer good ground while Ikigai Star was well held on handicap debut. Pearl Of Australia was reported to have hung right at Down Royal but has previously beaten Astar (which debuts in handicaps) at Roscommon.

YOUCRACKMEUP arrives in top form and, having only found one too good at Limerick last month, she gets the marginal vote in a competitive race. Voice of Reason has the potential for better and Booyea is likely to be involved once again.

Jim Bolger's horses have hit form and recent Leopardstown winner TEORIE appeals here on his handicap debut

LTO Selection:

20:02 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Proud Fairy was a decisive winner over C&D five days ago and she merits respect under a penalty, but a chance is taken on BUGLE BEADS. The daughter of Pivotal showed clear promise across her three qualifying runs, each over six furlongs, and she can take a significant step forward now pitched into handicaps and upped in trip. Spanish Mane appeals most of the remainder.

PROUD FAIRY improved to score over a similar trip here on Wednesday and can follow up under a 5 lb penalty. The thrice-raced Bugle Beads is bred to prove better than her opening mark and shouldn't be dismissed now stepping into handicaps, whilst Renesmee shaped better than the result at Catterick last time and is also respected.

Handicap debutante BUGLE BEADS looks an interesting contender with improvement on the cards. Proud Fairy is second choice.

LTO Selection:

20:12 Ffos Las Stakes (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A tentative vote is given to SHE'S A MIRAGE, who did what was expected of her when scoring in handicap company over 1m2f in Jersey last month. The David Evans-trained filly is fancied to progress further, despite a drop in distance. El Royale looks her most serious danger following a fair fourth, also over 1m2f, in soft ground at Nottingham. Daisy Roots heads the remainder.

In an incredibly thin race EL ROYALE gets a very tentative vote having run respectably at Nottingham last time. She's A Mirage is a danger back in Britain and Daisy Roots can't be ruled out.

In a bad race the safest option is SHE'S A MIRAGE who won in Jersey last month and has run well on other occasions this year.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHOOT CHAMPAGNE showed promise on debut. Well-related, she handled easy ground at Cork (Money To Burn finished fourth) and while beaten 1.5 lengths, powered home and looks sure to improve. The Cork winner had previously chased home Lionnar, which finished fourth in a hot Killarney bumper which ties the selection's form to closely-matched pair Wrecking Ballbilly and My Great Mate. That Killarney race was run at a fast pace and both are capable. Hypersonic Missile was bought for 34,000 pounds following an English point-to-point bumper win last March, with the runner-up subsequently finishing second in a Plumpton bumper. Topgun Simmy ran well in an April sales' race but runs in a first-time tongue-tie, which is a possible negative. If You Let Me won an April point-to-point but faces a tough task. Arctic Gale's (a half-brother to a staying winner) connections target Galway and nicely bred Pinyon Jay represents Gordon Elliott but both will need to be smart to win on debut. Master Otis needs to improve while Where's My Jet has pointing form.

MY GREAT MATE shaped with encouragement at Killarney on debut and, with improvement anticipated, he's the one to beat although Pinyon Jay is an interesting newcomer for Gordon Elliott. Wrecking Ballbilly is another one to consider.

Plenty with chances with preference for the filly SHOOT CHAMPAGNE on the back of a very promising Cork debut

20:32 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

MORNING COLOURS did well to fill the runner-up spot here over 6f last time out, having been slowly away. Marco Botti's filly is able to compete off an unchanged mark and she could find further improvement over this extra furlong. Bear To Dream continues to run well in defeat and must go on the shortlist, while market support should be noted for Perfect Focus ahead of his return from a lengthy absence.

With cheekpieces applied, MORNING COLOURS shaped well when runner-up at this course on handicap debut 13 days ago, keeping on having not been ideally placed, and she can get off the mark back up in trip. Arbaawi had been off 5 months prior to finishing fourth behind the selection here last time, so he could be the biggest threat ahead of Bear To Dream.

Preference is for MORNING COLOURS (nap), who was runner-up here last time and is open to more progress back up in trip.

20:42 Ffos Las Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

LUNAR LANDSCAPE arrives following a decent third at Newbury on Thursday and looks the one to beat. He has been eased in class which, combined with the application of first-time cheekpieces, can help Eve Johnson Houghton's charge get off the mark. Hashtagmetoo has dropped to her last winning rating, which came on the all-weather in March, and is feared most down in trip. The unexposed Buxlow Boy is another to consider on his handicap bow.

LUNAR LANDSCAPE is bang in form and was a bit better than the result when third at Newbury 4 days ago, so he's worth siding with ahead of Fast Affair. Hashtagmetoo is another one to consider.

Fast Affair may improve but LUNAR LANDSCAPE (nap) hasn't been far away in all his handicaps and he rates the safest bet.
