8/1(-78%)
(3) Cherry Hill 8/1, Lightly-raced maiden. Pulled up in nursery (11/2) at Lingfield (7f, good to firm) 19 days ago. Showed ability prior to that but will probably need to improve for the switch to this surface if she's to emerge on top.

(6) Easel 14/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 28/1, ninth of 11 in minor event at Lingfield (6f, good) 27 days ago, not ideally placed. Yet to build on initial promise but perhaps this stiffer test will help her get back on track now that she makes her debut in a nursery.

(2) Fullofbrightideas 125/1, Thrice-raced maiden. 200/1, first run since leaving Martin Smith when last of 11 in minor event at Yarmouth (7f, good to firm) 74 days ago, slowly away. Readily passed over now pitched into a nursery.
Pedigree casts some doubt about him staying this far on handicap debut.
LTO Selection:

14:10 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Easel debuts in a nursery off a workable mark and, as a half-sister to an all-weather winner, she may improve now switched to a synthetic surface. There may also be more to come from Cherry Hill, whose latest start is worth forgiving as she never recovered after an early stumble. However, preference is for JAKIMA, who posted a solid effort when third in a deeper race at Chester.

JAKIMA looks the way to go on the back of her improved nursery debut third upped to 7f in a stronger race than this at Chester. The Kodiac filly is likely to benefit from this further step up in trip and she handled polytrack perfectly well when fourth on her introduction at Lingfield in June. Second choice is American Tale, who can be expected to step up on what he's shown in 3 qualifying runs, though Easel would also be a threat if able to belatedly build on her debut promise.

In a weak nursery it's difficult to see past JAKIMA. It was an improved run from her at Chester and this is weaker.

LTO Selection:

14:25 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

With solid form thin on the ground, this could be a good opportunity for MUSTERION to gain a breakthrough success. John Butler's filly should appreciate the stiffer test compared to the 7f at Kempton last time and she may take some stopping. She's A Mirage returns to this sphere after finishing a respectable fourth in classified stakes company at Ffos Las a fortnight ago. The daughter of Kodiac is feared most, ahead of Louaizeh.

It's probably worth giving another chance to MYSTERIOUS MAESTRO, who has proved rather disappointing the last twice but a reproduction of his effort peak effort at Lingfield in June would put him firmly in the picture. Zakram hasn't made much of an impact on turf of late but may fare better now returned to the all-weather and he is feared most ahead of Musterion and She's A Mirage.

This looks tricky but MUSTERION gets the vote ahead of She's A Mirage and The Pug.

LTO Selection:

14:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Rose Bolt was all out to win a fillies maiden at Bath last month and, although well very supported in the betting, there were anxious moments for her supporters near the finish. It will be tougher for her to make the running against more seasoned handicappers, with previous C&D winner LADY OF ARABIA standing out as one who can utilise her experience now she drops back in trip. Playupskyblues is also considered.

DAARREE made more impact than previously when third at Chelmsford on his handicap debut 20 days ago, despite having been denied a clear run, so he can build on his latest effort to get off the mark. Lady of Arabia also shaped well last time and could have more to offer back down in trip, while Garrick Street is another to consider.

Plenty with chances but APOLLO'S ANGEL was noticeably short in the betting for her handicap debut at Ffos Las and not a lot went right.

15:00 Wolverhampton Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

There were plenty of positives to be taken from BIBENDUM's debut third over 5f at Yarmouth last month and the Showcasing colt may find enough improvement going up in distance to gain a breakthrough success. Zipster should have learned plenty when finishing fifth on debut at Chelmsford and could emerge as the chief threat to the selection, ahead of Stanley Spencer.

BIBENDUM fetched €260,000 when resold this year and shaped with promise when third in a 5.2f Yarmouth maiden last month. He will be more street-wise this time and, with this stiffer test likely to be in his favour, the Showcasing colt is taken to strike. Zipster also made an encouraging start to his career and is next on the list ahead of Stanley Spencer and likely-looking newcomer State of Chaos.

This looks a tight contest but the Crisfords' ZIPSTER gets the vote ahead of Bibendum and Salamanca Lad.

15:20 Kempton Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Sir Mark Prescott is noted for his meticulous approach with his youngsters and, while many of his tend to get better with experience, the master of Heath House is more than capable of readying a newcomer. The well-bred VALIDATED, whose dam is a half-sister to Infallible, a Group 3 winner over this trip, appears to be one who can rubber-stamp that theory. Majolica and Maith An Farhh are other interesting debutants.

The one who appeals most on paper is SECRET BID, who boasts a decent pedigree and represents a yard more than capable of readying one first time out. The hint should be taken if the market speaks in his favour. Character Testing and History Awaits are both of interest, while Maith An Farhh and Majolica are others to note in the betting.

Watch the market. As things stand, CHARACTER TESTING is preferred to Secret Bid.

LTO Selection:

15:35 Wolverhampton Claimer (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

SNAZZY JAZZY has failed to make a significant impact in competitive handicaps of late, but the eight-year-old rates as the one to beat now pitched into claiming company. Shallow Hal has been operating on the turf recently but shouldn't be underestimated given his previous performances on the all-weather at the turn of the year. Karl Burke's charge shouldn't be far away, with Granny B making most appeal of the remainder.

SHALLOW HAL wasn't at his best when fifth at Nottingham recently but holds major claims at these weights so looks the way to go. Granny B could emerge as the chief threat on her first go on tapeta with course-winner Doctor Mozart another who is firmly in the picture.

This looks a decent opportunity for the useful SNAZZY JAZZY, who has leading claims on the figures. Shallow Hal is the danger.

15:55 Kempton Maiden (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In a race full of unknown quantities, it might be worth taking a chance on LADY DE BATHE. Alice Haynes is no stranger to success in these types of contests and this Ribchester filly, whose dam is a half-sister to Lillie Langtry, makes plenty of appeal on paper. With that in mind, it would be no surprise were she to play a leading role at the first time of asking. Billiegee is from the first crop of Arc winner Waldgeist and she warrants a market check along with the Andrew Balding-trained Fernden Wells.

Choppy waters, with the field all juvenile debutantes, but FERNDEN WELLS ticks quite a few boxes and might be the one to side with. Lady de Bathe is another to consider, along with Billiegee.

Andrew Balding does well with his AW 2yos and the nicely bred FERNDEN WELLS is taken to make a winning debut.

LTO Selection:

16:10 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GISELLES IZZY has thrived on being kept busy and she may be able to extend her run of good form by posting another personal best. The Iain Jardine-trained filly was a comfortable winner over 6f on her penultimate start and only went down by a neck when attempting to follow up off this mark last time. The return to 7f creates hope for the likes of Lily In The Jungle and Carlton And Co if stamina becomes an issue for the selection.

A case can be made for a few of these but the most persuasive one is for LILY IN THE JUNGLE who arrives at the top of her game and can add to her Ripon spring success having been just touched off at Lingfield last time out. Newcastle-victor Carlton And Co and handicap-debutante Evenstar merit plenty of respect too along with Capuchinero and Cloud Cover.

The vote goes to CARLTON AND CO (nap), who won at Newcastle 11 days ago and remains well treated on her best form.

LTO Selection:

16:25 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

THE COLA KID's recent efforts over an extended 5f at Bath suggest that the extra yardage in this event could unlock some more improvement. Grace Harris' gelding is fancied to return to winning ways, with the in-form Tilsworth Ony Ta next best. The four-year-old has been running with credit in classified stakes company of late and shouldn't be underestimated on the return to this sphere, while Lion Ring could also have a say.

THE COLA KID has held his form well this summer and looks the most solid option here under Connor Planas. Tilsworth Ony Ta arrives on the back of a couple of runner-up efforts in classified events and is second choice ahead of Lion Ring.

5yo mare RHUBARB has slipped to a workable mark and can bounce back quickly from an excusable defeat on heavy ground six days ago.

16:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DAPHNE MAY arrives having notched up two Epsom victories either side of a good second at Newbury. The daughter of Mayson should have no problem with the return to an artificial surface and past exploits would suggest she can cope with a further 3lb rise in the handicap. Mildyjama was perhaps a little disappointing when a beaten favourite at Pontefract last month but she retains potential and could go well from her low draw, while Sainte Colette appeals most of the remainder.

DAPHNE MAY made it 2 wins from her last 3 starts with a cosy success at Epsom 11 days ago and she can score again in her current form. The biggest threat could come from Mildyjama, who shaped as if this step up in trip would suit last time, with Sainte Colette completing the shortlist.

Ralph Beckett's MILDYJAMA (nap) is a 3yo heading in the right direction and promises to improve again for this longer trip.

LTO Selection:

16:40 Wolverhampton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Irish raider Asgard's Captain improved when dead-heating over 1m at Ripon in June and, were it not for a wide draw, he would have a live chance of following up off just 3lb higher. Nevertheless, GLORY CALL has fared much better with his allotted starting position and looks worth chancing on his first attempt over this trip. The Ollie Pears-trained gelding showed tenacity when winning over 6f here on his penultimate start and a sterner test can prompt further progression. Crown Bridges is also noted.

The drop to 7f isn't sure to suit ASGARD'S CAPTAIN but he forced a dead-heat with a thriving rival at Ripon when last seen in June and there are more races to be won from this lowly mark. Glory Call is a solid rival, with Exquisite Beauty open to progress now handicapping.

Ollie Pears' gelding GLORY CALL has a good attitude and is open to improvement now upped to 7f. Asgard's Captain is next best.

16:55 Windsor Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Dubai Hills wasn't quite ready for Group 3 company in France in June and much better is expected in these calmer waters. However, Amy Murphy's colt meets two-time winning filly MAPMAKER. The daughter of Aclaim now has Liam Wright on board, who claims a handy 7lb, and a reproduction of her latest performance may suffice. George's Rascal is entitled to build on his debut fourth at Brighton in June and makes most appeal of the remainder.

DUBAI HILLS hasn't yet kicked on from a promising debut but he was out of his depth last time and faces a much more realistic chance to open his account now. Mapmaker already has two wins to her name and she's an obvious threat, while Montecristo Gold appeals as an interesting newcomer.

He cut little ice in French Group 3 last time but DUBAI HILLS is taken to deliver on his earlier promise. Mapmaker is feared most.

LTO Selection:

17:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Arcadian Friend romped to success in an amateur riders' event at Chelmsford six days ago and, though respected under a 5lb penalty, BUNKER BAY is preferred. Having won over an extended 1m3f at Yarmouth on his penultimate start, the son of Australia looked outpaced when filling the runner-up spot over 1m6f at Sandown later that month. He enters uncharted territory with regards to trip, but that effort would suggest it might see him to greater effect. Others to note include Masterdream, Bodygroove and Devizes.

ARCADIAN FRIEND was an emphatic winner at Chelmsford 6 days ago and he can defy a penalty with the return to this longer distance to suit. Sir Mark Prescott's 4-y-o is taken to get the better of the in-form Bunker Bay, while Solution remains with potential upped significantly in trip.

Few are less exposed than BODYGROOVE, who is on an upward curve after breaking his duck at Wolverhampton and can defy a 4lb rise.

Stoney Lane is shortlisted after winning over C&D 10 days ago and, while he is respected in a race of this nature, he has struggled with consistency and has never won back-to-back races before now. The same applies to He's Our Star, who is respected but might find this tougher than the similar event he landed at Brighton recently. With that in mind, BERNIE THE BEAR gets the nod given he has improved since fitted with headgear and has posted several respectable efforts over this trip recently.

BERNIE THE BEAR has still to get his head in front but rates just about the pick of these weights and can go one better than his recent good Ayr second. Stoney Lane rates a major danger though on the back of his C&D victory, with in-form pair He's Our Star and Doomsday firmly in the picture too.

The vote goes to BERNIE THE BEAR, who ran another good race when second behind a major improver at Ayr last week.

17:20 Ballinrobe Maiden Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHOW NO FEAR improved for the fitting of cheekpieces when second to a useful-looking sort at Killarney. He isn't as highly rated on the Flat as some of these rivals but may develop into a better hurdler. The Churchill gelding was sixth on hurdling debut at Tipperary and may be capable of turning around the form with runner-up Doctor Nightingale. The latter was sent off favourite then and went down by only half a length so has to be considered despite a poor run on the Flat at Galway since. Our Boy Wes ran well over 1m6f in a Galway handicap and is a hurdling debutant to note along with Golden Temple who was touched off in a 1m4f maiden at Fairyhouse in June.

Stamina is no concern for OUR BOY WES and sure to be well prepared for this hurdles debut, he's selected to make the perfect start at the chief expense of Doctor Nightingale and Show No Fear.

Having shown improvement in cheekpieces at Killarney, SHOW NO FEAR is chosen to turn around Tipperary form with Doctor Nightingale

17:30 Windsor Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GLADLY EVER AFTER shaped better than the beaten distance in the Princess Margaret Stakes at Ascot recently suggests, and she must hold every chance of regaining the winning thread at this lower level. Archie Watson's filly looks the one to beat, ahead of debut fourth Drama. The son of Havana Grey should have learned plenty from his experience at Newbury last month and likely has more to come this season. Invincible Aura and Tayala are also noted.

DRAMA shaped nicely on his Newbury debut and can strike at the second time of asking under William Buick. Invincible Aura also made a pleasing start to his career at Newbury and may give the selection most to do ahead of Glady Ever After, who struggled in the Princess Margaret at Ascot but should fare a lot better back in calmer waters.

After a stylish debut win GLADLY EVER AFTER was prominent for a long way in a Group 3. She can double her tally in this easier race.

17:50 Ballinrobe Maiden Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SHERODAN will take plenty of beating here for the in-form Peter Fahey yard. A bumper winner at Tipperary two years ago, he missed a long time before returning to finish second here in May on hurdling debut and bettered that when again finding only one too good in a Listed novice contest at the Galway festival. The fifth in that race easily won a maiden later in the week at Ballybrit. Four Clean Aces is two from two in bumpers and her more recent success at Punchestown was more emphatic than her debut win over 2m4f at Tipperary. She's an exciting prospect but the selection's jumping experience may prove crucial. Fermoyle has some decent Flat and bumper form and was an encouraging second on hurdles debut at Punchestown.

FOUR CLEAN ACES won both her starts in bumpers and given the yard she represents, a winning hurdles debut looks firmly on the cards. Sherodan and Fermoyle should ensure the selection doesn't have it all her own way.

Not many to consider. Heading the shortlist is SHERODAN (nap), whose second in a Listed race at Galway sets the bar high.

18:00 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PINPOINT got off the mark in comfortable fashion at Bath recently and the step up in trip should eke out further improvement as he looks to follow up. He is preferred to the likes of Lingfield winner Monks Mead and Kiss And Run, who could be interesting for in-form connections on her nursery debut. Dainty Lady and Eyeros are entitled to be thereabouts as well.

PINPOINT was well on top at the finish when scoring at Bath 5 days ago and, in a thin race, he's likely to follow up at the possible expense of Monks Mead, who also took a big step forward to make a successful start in nurseries. The remainder all have improvement to find.

This looks between PINPOINT and Monks Mead, who both made successful handicap debuts on their latest starts.

IMPRESSOR regained the winning thread with a ready success over 6f here last Saturday and a 4lb rise combined with the drop in trip may not be enough to prevent Phillip Makin's gelding from adding to an already fruitful campaign. Borough has also progressed throughout the year and another bold bid looks likely, while four-time C&D winner Refuge always merit respect at this venue.

IMPRESSOR has thrived of late since the cheekpieces have been reapplied, making it 3 wins from his last 4 starts when successful here 9 days ago, and he can score again with conditions to suit. Borough also arrives in good form and looks to be the main danger.

Top of the list is IMPRESSOR, who has won in cheekpieces in three of his last four starts including in the mud here nine days ago.

18:20 Ballinrobe Handicap Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ONLY ONE PLAN had been knocking on the door before making the breakthrough at Roscommon in June where he got the better of Presenting Lad. He's 4lb better off with that rival on this occasion and ran a cracker over course and distance last month when chasing home a class-dropper who had finished second in a Galway Hurdle a few years ago. Owned by Ballinrobe businessman Michale Cawe, he can go one place better despite a 3lb higher mark. Old rival Presenting Lad gained revenge on the selection when gaining his second win at Roscommon last month. Placed in both starts since, he may be a touch high in the weights now but can give a good account of himself again. Miss Arccol was a winner at Cork two years ago and was returning from a very long absence when running creditably at the same track last month. It's interesting that connections have persevered with her and she should be a lot sharper with that comeback run under her belt.

PRESENTING LAD has been in top form all summer, recording another placed effort at Cork a week ago and everything looks in place for another bold bid. Charcor and Only One Plan are a couple of potential threats.

A few of these are closely matched, such as Presenting Lad, Charcor\p and ONLY ONE PLAN. The latter edges preference.

18:30 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The Eve Johnson Houghton stable can do little wrong at present and VIDI VICI must hold every chance if bouncing back to the form that saw him finish a promising second in a seller at Goodwood on his penultimate start. This may well be the right trip for Birkie Boy, who wasn't beaten far at Bath last time out, while Another Gift and Villas Bullet are others to consider.

Alice Haynes had a nursery newcomer win easily in first-time cheekpieces on Friday and VILLAS BULLET appeals as another potential improver for the yard now handicapping in headgear. Oisin Murphy's mount Another Gift is second choice ahead of Birkie Boy.

Some guesswork is needed about the handicap newcomers but DASH POWER has shown ability and he should be capable of better.

LTO Selection:

18:40 Hamilton Maiden (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Chumbaa has posted several creditable efforts in defeat this season, but the daughter of Belardo still remains a maiden after 11 appearances and she may come up short once more. This looks a good starting point for GONE ROGUE, a half-brother to the useful Striding Edge, and he's got enough ability in his pedigree to suggest that a race of this nature is within his compass. Charlie Johnston's colt gets the vote, although any market support for fellow debutant Arantes Nascimento would be interesting too.

Those with experience don't set a particularly high standard, but SHE'SASHAMBLES showed some potential amidst greenness on debut, and might be worth chancing. Gone Rogue and Arantes Nascimento would be highly respected newcomers if the market spoke in their favour.

The suggestion is EMU WAR, who showed some ability on her first start and should be able to act on soft ground.

18:50 Ballinrobe Handicap Hurdle 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JOHANNA YEATS hinted that she may be about to hit form when sixth over further at this track last month. Now dropped back to the minimum trip at which she won over course and distance in April 2022, the Brendan Walsh-trained mare can record a second career success. Got Grey, a winner on the flat when trained in France, shaped well enough on his two most recent runs over hurdles to suggest there is a race in him. The Gavin Cromwell-trained four-year-old will get few easier opportunities than this low grade contest. Charle Brune is interesting on his first run back for his former trainer, Tom Shanahan. The veteran has dropped down below his last winning mark, so if the return to familiar surroundings has rekindled his enthusiasm then he could be involved.

Martin Brassil's IL SILENZO appeals as a likely improver now going into handicaps so he gets the vote in a very open-looking contest. Fellow handicap debutant Old Lonesome Me is another who can take a step forward and enters calculations along with the handily-weighted Light Parade.

A minefield but GOT GREY would probably have been placed on his penultimate start had he not come down late on.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A promising second on her debut at Chelmsford in May, this can go the way of MAKE CLEAR, who should be open to further improvement on the back of that effort. Mezon had Flying Kiss (fifth) behind when scoring first time out at Leicester, but she faces a much tougher task under a penalty. Starstriker is one to note for market support on her first start for new connections.

MEZON did well to overcome greenness when making a winning start at Leicester and can defy a 7 lb penalty with a fair bit more to come from this Caravaggio filly. Chelmsford City second Make Clear also has better days ahead of her and is next on the list ahead of Flying Kiss and the returning Starstriker.

The drop to 5f looks sure to suit speedy COVER UP and he is preferred to Mezon who has to concede a penalty for her Leicester win.

19:10 Hamilton Maiden (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Weigh Anchor ran her best race to date when runner-up on her seasonal debut at Haydock in June, and her turn might not be far away. Nevertheless, DREAMS ADOZEN's recent efforts in handicap company rate a little stronger and the daughter of Kingman could gain a breakthrough success on the switch to maiden company. Night Life has a bit to find with the selection on the figures, but Mark Walford's filly shouldn't be discounted.

This looks a good chance for DREAMS ADOZEN to open her account having performed with credit in handicaps of late. Mistress Light is sure to do better with her debut under her belt and is the obvious threat.

The suggestion is MISTRESS LIGHT, who showed up well for a long way on debut and should be capable of a fair bit better than that.

LTO Selection:

19:20 Ballinrobe Handicap Hurdle 26f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

THE ABBEY reverts to flights for the first time since October and might be able to take advantage of a much lower mark. Twice successful in May, he is rated 17lb higher over the larger obstacles. The Dabbler and Fairyhill Run also switch to hurdles and both have solid claims, with the latter fourth in the Mayo National on his most recent visit to Ballinrobe. A case can be made for many others in this competitive affair, with Dorans River bidding to complete what would be a remarkable hat-trick at the age of 13. The admirable veteran is a credit to connections and would be a popular winner if he were to prevail. After his success at Punchestown in June, Mister Beeton is sure to have plenty of supporters, while Galway fourth Another Choice is also capable of making his presence felt.

A GREAT VIEW has slipped to an attractive mark so this veteran is taken to resume winning ways on the back of his encouraging Galway ninth. The Abbey also figures on a handy-looking mark so is feared most reverted to hurdles. Punchestown-scorer Mister Beeton is another who is firmly in the picture along with the hat-trick seeking Dorans River.

Several with good claims but Punchestown winner MISTER BEETON has relatively few miles on the clock and should have more to offer

LTO Selection:

19:30 Windsor Handicap (Class 6) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PORTORO romped home to record a breakthrough success at Salisbury last month and, though a subsequent 13lb rise might appear harsh, he is open to further improvement at this level and might be up to the task. Goblet Of Fire merits the utmost respect as he goes in search of a hat-trick, having won at Hamilton and Yarmouth recently. Anticipating has yet to show any significant promise, but she starts off in handicaps off a potentially workable mark.

Nigel Tinkler is no stranger to success with his runners down here and his GOBLET OF FIRE gets the nod to defy the handicapper and complete a hat-trick. There should be more to come from Salisbury-scorer Portoro who is feared most ahead of Angel of Peace.

William Buick's mount TWOFORTHEGUTTER has been running quite well since cheekpieces were added last month and is eased in grade today.

LTO Selection:

19:40 Hamilton Handicap (Class 3) 9f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

DUBAWI WARRIOR got off the mark in some style at Pontefract last month and a mark of 80 could prove lenient on his handicap debut, with the step up in trip expected to suit. A taking winner on his last two starts at Ayr, Gainsbourg can give him the most to think about, while Shine On Brendan, who has also been in terrific form of late, is also noted.

A few with chances but MR PROFESSOR made a promising start for Dominic Ffrench Davis when third at Sandown so is fancied to build on it and capitalise on a reduced mark. William Haggas's handicap debutant Dubawi Warrior rates an obvious threat with better days ahead of him while recent winners Gainsbourg and Shine On Brendan can both have a say too.

The dark one is handicap debutant DUBAWI WARRIOR. There were signs of what he might become when winning easily at Pontefract.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Third in a bumper at Galway, SEA MUSIC is the selection. The Emmet Mullins-trained gelding didn't go unbacked at Ballybrit and ran a fine race to take minor honours on what was his racecourse debut. He starts off over hurdles now and should come on plenty for that Galway effort, which was his first since April. Bob The Builder is the highest rated of those with a mark. A solid third on his most recent start at Wexford, it'll come as no surprise if he manages to go a few places better, with Danny Gilligan claiming a valuable 5lb. Gino Drummer Boy was behind Bob The Builder at Wexford and worse off at the weights now, it's difficult to see him reverse the form. A half-brother to Listed winner Cedarwood Road, In A Little While is an interesting contender for Gearoid O'Loughlin, while Our Girl Sal and Mont Beuvray are others capable of making their presence felt.

Having shaped well on his recent Rules debut in a Galway bumper, SEA MUSIC is taken make a winning start over hurdles. The 5-y-o was runner-up on his sole completed start between the flags, which suggests that he will have no problem with this trip. Our Girl Sal is feared most ahead of Bob The Builder and Gino Drummer Boy.

Galway bumper third SEA MUSIC may be capable of making a winning debut over flights. Bob The Builder can put up the most resistance

STARRY EYES got back on track with a success in classified stakes company last month. The return to handicaps will demand more of her, but she remains well treated and might have been revitalised by that confidence-boosting victory. Thewaytothestars is likely to give her running under a 5lb penalty, while Global Tycoon and Reel Power are fancied to battle it out for the minor honours.

THEWAYTOTHESTARS came through smoothly from rear to win with a bit in hand at Ffos Las recently and, as such, she's worth a chance to defy a penalty. Fellow last-time-out winner Reel Power looks the main danger and Global Tycoon is of interest starting out for another new stable.

Topweight THEWAYTOTHESTARS (nap) stayed on well and ended up winning a shade cosily at Ffos Las on Tuesday. She can follow up.

LTO Selection:

20:10 Hamilton Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SLAINTE MHATH may not have been in love with the heavy ground when runner-up over C&D last time out, but she had won her two starts here prior to that and this looks like an ideal opportunity to get back to winning ways. A determined winner over shorter at Beverley on his penultimate start, Sound Reason looks to be her chief threat, ahead of the unexposed William Dewhirst.

Conditions were probably too testing for LOVE DE VEGA at Goodwood and, back down in trip on what should be better ground, he is worth chancing off a tempting mark. Iris Dancer was behind Slainte Mhath over C&D recently but may well reverse those placings on slightly better terms this time. Sound Reason remains feasibly treated but he has failed to shine when previously tried over 6f.

Slainte Mhath is a danger but WILLIAM DEWHIRST (nap) finished his race out well last time and this stiffer track should suit.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

It's difficult to oppose SARAH BEARA who was mightily impressive on her handicap debut at Wexford on Friday. The subject of a gamble at Bettyville, she eased to a five-and-a-half length success and carries a 7lb winners penalty now. Trained by German native Maike Magnussen, Littletwinklestar is given second preference. She ran on well to finish a never nearer third on her most recent start and will again be ridden by Niall Prendergast, who claims a valuable 7lb. No Thanks filled the runner-up spot on his most recent visit to Ballinrobe and should give a good account of himself after finishing a close fourth on the level at Galway recently. Sixhandsinmypocket, Townhill Penny, Ask The Leader and Kingston Kid are others capable of making an impact.

SARAH BEARA duly left her maiden form well behind when making a winning handicap debut at Wexford on Friday and, provided this doesn't come too soon, she will prove a tough nut to crack under a penalty. Sixhandsinmypocket posted his best effort yet when runner-up in a Limerick maiden last time and should be competitive back in handicap company, while Jeriko de Baune could be seen in a better light now faced with a stiffer test. Kingston Kid and No Thanks are others with claims.

The mare SARAH BEARA fairly bolted up when well backed at Wexford on Friday and she's taken to defy the penalty.

20:40 Hamilton Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

AIGHEAR bounced back to form with a strong runner-up effort over further at Musselburgh last time out, and the slight drop in trip may be enough to see her regain the winning thread. The form of Zephlyn's most recent placed effort here has been well franked since, and he is a key player along with Blazer Two, who ran an excellent race on his first start for new connections last month.

CHURCHELLA has yet to build on her runner-up effort at Leicester but she's back against her elders here and is also down in class, so she's worth another chance. Aighear and Blazer Two are potential threats.

This looks best left to AIGHEAR who ticks several boxes, including form at the track and on soft ground, as well as good recent form.
