Giselles Izzy had a subsequent winner back in second when winning over 6f at Ayr last month and she must be respected off a 2lb higher mark. That said, preference is for the locally-trained KINDEST NATION. Hugo Palmer's charge was sporting a first-time visor (retained) when scoring with more in hand than the winning margin suggests over 7f at Haydock last week, and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to anchor her. American Rose is also respected.

If the visor continues to work then KINDEST NATION might be up to providing her in-form local yard with another winner. Fellow last-time-out scorers Giselles Izzy and American Rose may give her most to think about.

A speculative option to consider is TAKES TIME, who is unexposed over this trip and ought to be suited by today's return to soft turf.

GLAMOUR SHOW has displayed plenty of promise on all four of her previous starts and the daughter of Showcasing just gets the vote following her close third over 6f at Newbury last month. Reservardo has hit the crossbar twice and is likely to pose the biggest threat based on all known form. Veblen Good is a half-brother to a Group 3-placed juvenile and any market support for Karl Burke's colt on debut would have to be noted.

RESERVARDO has showed plenty of ability in finding only one too good on each of his 2 starts to date and, in the hope underfoot conditions don't pose any fears, he looks to hold sound claims with the likelihood of more to come. Lazzar rates a likely improver following his promising debut run at Newbury and is feared along with Glamour Show. Market confidence behind Veblen Good would also need to be viewed positively on debut.

Today's slower ground will be a first for RESERVARDO but he's not alone on that score and the form of both his runs read well.

QETAIFAN showed up well for a long way before fading into fifth late on in a warm Sandown maiden over 7f last month and, dropping back to 6f, he gets the vote to land the spoils for a stable which is operating at a 24 percent strike-rate at this venue this year. Sands Of Marra was readily outclassed in the Molecomb Stakes at Goodwood, but he had shown promise prior to that and must enter calculations, along with Mekhled.

SANDS OF MARRA confirmed the positive impression made on debut when opening his account at Windsor next time and he's easily excused his latest effort in the Molecomb at Goodwood. He gets the marginal vote over Qetaifan, with Herb Fennel also considered.

Sands Of Marra may find it tough to concede his penalty to QETAIFAN, who has displayed considerable promise in two good maidens.

TIGER TULIP bounced back to form when a head second over 6f at Windsor 11 days ago and Heather Main's filly is hard to oppose given that she is 2lb well-in here. Four Adaay was also narrowly denied on her most recent outing, over C&D, and should not be underestimated, while the consistent Nogo's Dream is the pick of the remainder.

FOUR ADAAY signalled she's ready to strike again when runner-up over C&D last time and gets a confident vote with that form reading well. Tiger Tulip rates the main threat on the back of her good Windsor second, with Capo Vaticano and Spirit of Breeze appealing as the pick of the rest for minor honours.

If she can handle the ground then TIGER TULIP could take some reeling in as there's a good chance of her getting a softish lead.

There is lots to like about the Hugo Palmer-trained Top Bins on paper and any support in the market for the son of Soldier's Call should be heeded. That said, BOB MALI gets the vote to hit all the right notes here. Ollie Sangster's charge justified strong market support on his debut when running out a game winner over 6f at Ayr last month and, with that experience under his belt, he shades preference. Sir Geoff Morgan is respected now sporting cheekpieces for the first time.

BOB MALI looked a good prospect when getting off to a winning start at Ayr and can successfully concede weight all round here. George Boughey's Dark Rosa could emerge as the main danger to Ollie Sangster's colt ahead of newcomers Dothan and Top Bins.

There may be more to come from Bob Mali but TOP BINS looks a likely newcomer on paper and he could be worth chancing.
Class & Speed Card

GLISTENING confirmed the promise she displayed on debut when a solid second over 7f at Newbury. That form was boosted when the winner scored impressively under a penalty at Leicester earlier this week and the daughter of Frankel is clearly the one to beat. Requisite cost 400,000gns as a yearling and is arguably the pick of the newcomers, although Gigi Bliss and Waardah cannot be discounted.

GLISTENING has made a positive start and should improve further over this distance, so she's fancied to put her experience to good use. All three of the newcomers in opposition are of interest but Requisite may pose the main threat.

It did come on fast ground but GLISTENING's latest run at Newbury now looks hot form and none of her rivals have experience.

There was a good word for CELEBORN prior to his Leicester introduction and he duly obliged. He was withdrawn at the start at Doncaster on his next intended appearance and has since been gelded in an attempt to hopefully harness his true potential. Archie's Angel made a successful debut of his own at Haydock, while Square D'alboni took a big step forward to break through at Epsom and Way Of Stars was only just denied at Goodwood.

Several interesting types in opposition with WAY OF STARS narrowly selected to come out on top. Having been strong in the betting, he showed plenty to work on and was beaten only by a fellow promising newcomer who was delivered later at Goodwood 19 days ago, and he looks sure to build on that effort. Square D'alboni, Celeborn and Archie's Angel all tasted success on their latest outings respectively and head up the dangers.

Preference is for CELEBORN who was all over the place on his Leicester debut in June, but still proved good enough to win.
Class & Speed Card

Turned out again quickly after a taking success in a claimer at Wolverhampton on Monday, B ASSOCIATES should be able to handle a 5lb penalty in this company. Thornaby Pearl has been running well at Ripon of late without getting his head in front and he could be set for another bold bid. Others to note include Bibendum, First Company and Oso Rapido.

An open-looking sprint handicap with the tentative vote going to RUN THIS WAY, who is having a fine season and got back on track with a good effort at Southwell 18 days ago. Oso Rapido ran well at Thirsk on his most recent outing despite not looking particularly well suited by the return to 7f, so he's a player back down in trip, with Hallowed Time and B Associates others to consider.

Run This Way and Glendown can feature but THORNABY PEARL (nap) may well be the answer now back on a slower surface.
Class & Speed Card

KAPTAIN BAY could build upon an opening third over flights at Ballinrobe in August. He had snippets of form on the Flat and went off favourite for that jumping assignment, but gave best on the run-in after a slight mistake at the last. Ceol Draiochta finished a place in front of Kaptain Bay in that aforementioned race, but unseated in the early stages when next seen in Killarney. Solar Drive has won twice on the Flat, including at Cork in July, and made a satisfactory start to his jumping career when fourth in Kilbeggan. Joseph O'Brien's Turn And Finish kept on for fourth behind an easy winner on the level at Tramore and is swiftly sent jumping.

TURN AND FINISH showed plenty when fourth in a maiden at Tramore on his only Flat outing and he's bred to take to this sphere, so he's preferred to Kaptain Bay, who made a promising hurdling debut here a month ago. Ceol Draioch is another one to consider.

CEOL DRAIOCHTA is taken to confirm course and distance form with Kaptain Bay having only gone down by half a length here on debut
Class & Speed Card

CORRIAMO gave the impression that he was a colt to keep firmly on side when scoring cosily on his nursery debut over 7f at Leicester, and he confirmed that promise when running out a game winner over the same trip here. Upped 4lb for that latest performance, this upwardly-mobile son of impressive first-season sire Mohaather gets the vote to land the hat-trick on his first try at a mile. Bintabuha has been far from disgraced in three qualifying runs and warrants the utmost respect on her handicap bow. Chelsea Embankment completes the shortlist for the in-form Ralph Beckett team.

CORRIAMO progressed on the form showed when successful at Leicester when following up in a stronger affair over 7f here 2 weeks ago, overcoming a pace bias in the process. His strength at the finish suggested this step up to 1m will suit and he makes plenty of appeal in his hat-trick bid. Chelsea Embankment and Jack Andrea may well emerge as the chief threats.

Bintabuha is interesting but CORRIAMO (nap) has managed to win both his nurseries despite still showing signs of inexperience.
Class & Speed Card

A tentative vote goes to JUDGEMENTOFSOLOMON, who has done well since being upped in trip this year and, despite his most recent effort at Southwell being a tad disappointing, he looks capable of bouncing back over further. This stamina test is likely to suit recent Musselburgh scorer Trojan Sun, who must prove himself on soft ground, while Berkshire Sundance returns after almost a year off the track for his in-form connections.

JUDGEMENTOFSOLOMON stands out as the one who could produce a dominant display. He's less exposed than the remainder and promises to be well suited by the step up in trip, particuarly with the emphasis on stamina on soft ground. Berkshire Sundance can get involved if tuned up and Dereham should be thereabouts.

Dereham finished strongly last time. Soft ground would give him more to prove, though, so a chance is taken on JUDGEMENTOFSOLOMON.
Class & Speed Card

Betty Clover's Listed triumph and narrow defeat at the hands of Simmering in the Princess Margaret help her set a fine standard, but she comes up against some exciting once-raced winners. TABITI never looked like letting favourite-backers down on debut, showing plenty of pace over 7f, and she is just preferred to Jewelry, who was almost as impressive at Newbury. There was no fluke about Greydreambeliever's York victory, while Magic Mild deserves a crack at this sort of prize.

GREYDREAMBELIEVER looked a good prospect when scoring on debut at York and could be the way to go over fellow unbeaten fillies Tabiti and Jewelry.

Preference is for TABITI who was impressive when winning at Newmarket last month. She can defy the drop in trip.
Class & Speed Card

JOUEUSE ROYALE is a significant player after her third place on hurdle debut at Tramore. The form of last month's race has been emphatically endorsed with the winner, runner-up and the fourth home all obliging since then. The selection was beaten less than two lengths into third and there was plenty of promise in that effort. Caman Eileen was odds-on favourite for a Roscommon maiden hurdle, but was beaten a fair way into fourth. She is better than that, but needs to bounce back. The 102-rated Ah Fuhgeddaboudit and Gordon Elliott's newcomer Mexican Moonshine, who is a sister to a double winner over flights, are others with claims.

Another chance is given to the Willie Mullins-trained CAMAN EILEEN, who will be tough to beat if recapturing the form she showed when second on her Roscommon hurdle debut. Joueuse Royale made a promising start to her hurdle career when third at Tramore last month and is second choice ahead of Pachmena.

This can go the way of CAMAN EILEEN (nap) who wasn't right at Roscommon last month but there was plenty to like about her previous run
Class & Speed Card

STAR OF ORION lost little in defeat when finishing a close-up third here last month and, off an unchanged mark with forecast underfoot conditions to suit, he gets the nod to go two places better. Leadman has shown enough in his qualifying runs to suggest that he can be competitive in a race of this nature on his handicap debut. Darkness has gone well in some big handicaps and his mark is starting to fall so his turn in the winner's enclosure may be imminent again.

Low mileage 4-y-o LOWTON looks nicely treated on the form he showed at York last autumn so it might be worth siding with him to leave a recent comeback run at Southwell well behind. Star of Orion was a solid third over C&D off the same mark on Solario day and should give another good account. Hat Toss's 2-2 Sandown record also earns him a place on the shortlist.

A chance is taken on KOY KOY, who won't have conditions as fast as the last twice and he can pounce late off a strong gallop.
Class & Speed Card

Richard Hannon has won two of the last three renewals and can enjoy further success courtesy of KAIYA, who showed more signs of life at Newbury and steps back up to a potentially more suitable distance for her nursery bow. Wathbah is best judged on her first three efforts rather than her struggle in a good Newmarket nursery. Gold Medallist has experience on his side and cheekpieces go on, with headgear also applied to Tiempo Alegre for the first time.

UP THE PACE caught the eye when a tenderly-handled Kempton fifth last time out so is fancied to take a sizeable step forward now going handicapping and get off the mark. Both Tiempo Alegre and Kaiya also appeal as likely improvers on their respective nursery debuts and can chase home the selection in that order.

The choice is KAIYA who revealed her first signs of ability at Newbury last time and could step up again on nursery debut.
Class & Speed Card

Trainer Andrew Balding won this contest last year and looks to have another ideal candidate in the shape of WHO'S GLEN, who was runner-up in a deep race at Southwell last time out. The son of Gleneagles looked in need of further on that occasion and he gets that opportunity now, with taking Ripon scorer Oosterpark looking best placed to chase him home. Consistent performer The Crafty Mole is another to bear in mind.

THE CRAFTY MOLE has thrived this season, recording a fifth win of the campaign when promoted to first at Thirsk (beaten by a head but suffered interference in the final 1f) on his latest outing, so he looks to hold leading claims. Who's Glen has also been going the right way this year and could be the main danger, ahead of Oosterpark.

Interesting turf debutant WHO'S GLEN is taken to defy top weight and open his account. Oosterpark is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

LINDEN ARDEN relished a staying trip when easily winning a beginners' chase here just under three weeks ago. He reverts back to flights and takes a drop in class, so appeals with his confidence boosted. Littlefoot won his maiden hurdle at this track last month. He won by the minimum margin of a nose when upped in trip with cheekpieces fitted. He races off a mark of 104 with Liam McKenna's claim factored in and is a contender. Tell Me This took the honours by five lengths when last seen over a shorter trip at this venue and is respected. Tullyveery Lad, Coastal World and Kilkee Bay are more than capable of landing a blow.

A case can be made for a few of these but LINDEN ARDEN rates the pick of these weights on the back of his impressive chasing success here so gets the vote. Course-scorer Littlefoot heads the list of dangers with Emily In Paris, Tullyveery Lad and Coastal World all in the mix too.

TELL ME THIS has been given a fair mark for handicap debut after her recent course win and this new trip is likely to suit
Class & Speed Card

FARO DI NOTTE found only a much more experienced rival too strong on her handicap bow at Goodwood and another prominent showing looks assured. A 1lb nudge up the ratings is unlikely to be the ceiling of her ability and Marcus Tregoning's filly edges the verdict over Come On You Spurs, who shouldn't mind a return to 7f. Tronido rates as best of the remainder.

FARO DI NOTTE leaves the impression she has a bigger effort in her locker so, with fewer miles on the clock than most, she's given the narrow vote dropping back to 7f. Tronido and Smouldering head up the dangers.

Tronido will go off fast. Clive Cox's SMOULDERING was coming along nicely until finding fast ground against her last time.
Class & Speed Card

Jowddah made a promising start when runner-up at Newmarket having shown signs of inexperience and Roger Varian's filly is expected to go well. That said, she faces a very interesting newcomer in the shape of SANDTRAP, a 450,000gns purchase whose full-brother recently became a Grade 1 winner in the US. The daughter of Lope De Vega gets the vote, while the extra furlong may bring about improvement from Bowerchalke on her second outing.

Roger Varian's JOWDDAH made an encouraging start to her career at Newmarket and should prove a tough nut to crack unless the betting vibes are strong surrounding newcomers Sandtrap and/or Take A Breath.

Newmarket runner-up JOWDDAH is unlikely to remain a maiden for much longer and is taken to put her experience to good use.
Class & Speed Card

Love Billy Boy took the silver medal home at Ascot last week and is aided by his plum draw in stall one here, so he ought to go close off an unchanged mark. However, the vote goes to PAWS FOR THOUGHT, who is a four-time course winner and finished a close-up fourth over 6f here on his latest outing. Donald McCain's six-year-old can continue his fine form and return to winning ways. Mudamer and Mercurial are just two others to consider.

Irish-challenger MERCURIAL can race off the same mark as when a very good Roscommon runner-up last time out so looks the way to go here. Mudamer shaped well when a recent third at Beverley and is next on the list ahead of Brighton-scorer Berkshire Nugget and course-winner Love Billy Boy.

Mercurial has an unfavourable draw but otherwise holds major claims, while PHOENIX OF DREAMS and Quest For Fun are interesting.

NATURAL LOOK made a bright start to life with Ross O'Sullivan when second in Kilbeggan, and the form looked better when the horse that beat her followed up in a valuable handicap hurdle at the Galway Festival. Natural Look won two of her last four races for her former trainer. Henry de Bromhead's Cobra Queen has a Cork handicap hurdle in the book and was second over a similar trip at Downpatrick. This is a new trip for Theflyingbee, but she acquitted herself well in fifth in an auction hurdle final at Punchestown and scored at Bellewstown on her penultimate start. Cobra Queen's stablemate, Ring O Roses, switches back to hurdles with cheekpieces applied and has a chance.

Successful in claiming company at Clonmel in May, NATURAL LOOK shaped well starting out for her new yard when runner-up (12 lengths clear of the third) back in handicap company at Kilbeggan in July. Given another break ahead of this, she looks up to making her mark again. Cobra Queen and Folly Beach are feared most, whilst a return to hurdling may see Ring O Roses in a better light.

Runner-up to the progressive The Wallpark on stable debut at Kilbeggan, NATURAL LOOK looks well treated off her current mark
Class & Speed Card

Having posted creditable seconds at Leicester and Newbury, Tipsy Tiger warrants consideration. However, a 3lb rise for his narrow defeat at the Berkshire track will require a career-best performance and handicap debutant ODIN LEGACY is open to more improvement. Richard Hannon's three-year-old has made the frame on his last two efforts over a mile in novice/maiden company and this first attempt at 1m2f could do the trick. John Chard Vc and Amancio are also noted.

TIPSY TIGER arrives in top form and goes well in the conditions, so he gets the nod over John Chard VC, who was also runner-up last time. Odin Legacy is also a player if he can improve for the longer trip.

Although MASO BASTIE rarely makes life easy for himself he put up a good show in July and should be suited by this stiff track
Class & Speed Card

VALVANO has been gelded since chasing home 2000 Guineas hero Notable Speech at Kempton in April and the step up to 1m2f, combined with some cut in the ground, is likely to see him prove too good for these rivals. Military Academy's debut success at Hamilton was boosted with the runner-up landing a valuable handicap at Ascot last weekend and he remains a colt with plenty of potential. Others to note include King Chaos and At No Time.

MILITARY ACADEMY was impressive when making a winning debut at Hamilton three weeks ago and the runner-up (who was giving him weight) that day has since bolted up in a handicap off 86, so he's well worth a chance to follow up for all that Valvano also looks potentially smart. At No Time is a notable newcomer.

Military Academy left a big impression on his recent debut but VALVANO, absent since April, may be good enough to thwart him.
Class & Speed Card

Celtic Warrior was just touched off by a neck when second in this grade at Epsom last month and should remain competitive off a 2lb higher rating. However, AVIEMORE ran a big race when runner-up over 1m4f on Lingfield's Polytrack off this mark last week and he is taken to go one better now returned to the trip and surface of his sole victory. User Amistoso is another to note in first-time cheekpieces.

AVIEMORE has benefited from going up in trip on his last 3 starts, producing a good effort when runner-up to a well-treated rival at Lingfield 8 days ago, so he is taken to double his tally this time around. Celtic Warrior ran well trying this distance for the first time on his latest outing and is respected.

The return to Chester, combined with first-time headgear, may enable USER AMISTOSO to get off the mark. Aviemore is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

A PENNY A HUNDRED is the one to beat here after a fine run to finish second on her chase debut at Tramore last month. The Jukebox Jury mare showed a good level of ability over timber, finishing runner-up in a Grade 3. She was edged out by stablemate Space Tourist late on on her first outing over the larger obstacles and doesn't have to improve much to score. She's A Fine Wine also ran well on her chase debut when fourth to Arctic Fly and looks like an obvious danger. Ballybawn Belter needs to improve on her two showings over fences but, in against mares now, she could get closer.

This looks a decent chance for A PENNY A HUNDRED to build on her promising chase debut second at Tramore last month. Henry de Bromhead's She's A Fine Wine looks the obvious danger after also making quite an encouraging start over fences at Killarney recently.

They might all struggle to beat A PENNY A HUNDRED, who hails from the powerful Willie Mullins yard

This appears to represent a fine opportunity for QUICKTHORN to record his first victory since the 2023 Goodwood Cup. The seven-year-old is expected to revert to his old front-running tactics and take advantage of an ideal confidence booster. Drawn To Dream should appreciate underfoot conditions based on her German form which includes a Listed success over 2m4f. Salsada rates best of the remainder on her first Flat appearance in over two years.

None of this quintet arrive in form but QUICKTHORN wasn't disgraced last time and should be hard to pass if he can build up a lead. Sumo Sam may contest the pace and is closely matched with the selection at the weights, while Drawn To Dream is no forlorn hope if able to bounce back.

They have not been able to show it this year but the class acts in this field are QUICKTHORN and Sumo Sam. The latter ran yesterday.

JOE'S TURN was a cosy winner at Kilbeggan on his last outing and may be able to follow up, despite a 10lb hike for that success. The Jet Away gelding was making his first start for Mark McNiff then, having run well when placed at the same track previously. He won a couple of point-to-points and is still unexposed over fences. Kadys Dirha chased him home last time and is entitled to be a big player on revised terms. My Friend The Wind has been running well over hurdles and switches back to fences now off a lower mark. He's another who has to come into calculations.

JOE'S TURN confirmed the promise of his chase debut equipped with a tongue strap/stepping back up in trip when running out a comfortable winner at Kilbeggan 21 days ago and a 10 lb hike in the weights is unlikely to prevent another bold showing from this low-mileage 8-y-o. Kadys Dirha was one place behind the selection on that occasion and, along with My Friend The Wind, may well provide chief resistance again.

JOE'S TURN appeals most. He's entirely unexposed and was well-backed ahead of his first chase success last time out

A winner of two of his last three starts, and runner-up in a contest at Newmarket last time which has worked out well, STRIKE sets the standard on form and he can notch up a fifth career success for his in-form connections. A progressive sort earlier this year, Tiriac remains on a workable mark and is likely to figure, along with Newbury second Capote's Dream and Bishop's Crown.

CAPOTE'S DREAM looks primed for a bold showing on the back of his eye-catching Newbury second so edges the verdict in this very open handicap. Tiriac didn't enjoy the rub of the green when sixth at Goodwood last time and could emerge as the chief rival to Tom Ward's 7-y-o ahead of in-form duo Strike and Bishop's Crown. Ray Vonn completes the shortlist.

Tiriac will be hard to beat on slow ground but the drying forecast tips the scales in favour of CAPOTE'S DREAM (nap).

JUST JACOB may just have been getting a bit lonely in front at Tramore last time and was good value for his two-and-a-quarter-length win after making all the running. He went up 9lb but if he gets an easy lead again around here, he could take a bit of pegging back. Erigmoor chased him home and is now half a stone better off. He has been knocking on the door and looks like an obvious contender again. Red Ball Of Fire ran a solid race in a beginners chase at Downpatrick last time. He tries handicaps for the first time over the larger obstacles and is on the same mark as his hurdles rating.

ERIGMOOR allowed re-opposing Just Jacob plenty of the rope on the front end when the pair finished 2-1 respectively in a Tramore handicap 26 days ago. Gordon Elliott's charge is 7 lb better off with the latter on this occasion, and with the return to this longer trip in his favour, he earns the vote to reverse the placings here. Itsalonglongroad and Cahirdown Boy are others worth a look.

An easy winner of this race last year, a close market watch is advised for THE EYE OF TULLA who might be targeted at the contest again
Class & Speed Card

GLITTERELLA may still be a maiden through seven starts, but she ran arguably a career best when narrowly denied at Bath over 5f last month, and stepping back up in trip should suit with Rossa Ryan taking over in the saddle. A progressive sort last year, Art Fantastique is of interest on his return from a long absence, while Unico looks capable of building on a solid effort at Lingfield latest.

GLITTERELLA seems to be getting her act together now and can gain compensation for last month's Bath near miss. The way that Port Hedland finished off last time suggest that he'll be suited by this return to 6f and he's second choice ahead of Chris Gordon's Unico.

Unico is weighted to win again but PORT HEDLAND can fulfil his earlier promise and get off the mark.

WINDBENEATHMYWINGS won despite being very free on his debut at Cork back in early July. The Free Eagle gelding travelled well to assert two furlongs from home that day, but got a bit tired late on and held on by a short head from The Last Line. He looks to have a good level of ability if he settles a bit better now. Jerry From Kerry was beaten at a short price on his debut at Roscommon, but was a touch green late on and is open to improvement. He looks like the danger. Richard O'Brien has a good record in bumpers and Spare Chips is a noteworthy newcomer with Finny Maguire booked.

JERRY FROM KERRY was backed into odds on first time up at Roscommon but inexperience got the better of him in the latter stages. That was still a very promising start and he could be hard to beat with improvement on the way. Waiting in the wings will be Cork-winner Windbeneathmywings and At The Wings.

The vote goes to the debutant SPARE CHIPS, who has a likeable pedigree and his yard has a good record in bumpers and at the track
