5th (5) (9/4 +32%)Hint Of Humour |
9/4(+32%) | (5) Hint Of Humour 9/4, Ran to form beaten 2 1/4l off a 1lb higher mark here last time; suited by 5f, acts on good but most of form on AW; generally consistent, chance again.
6th (2) (10/1 -100%)Ardnamurchan |
10/1(-100%) | (2) Ardnamurchan 10/1, Still signs of greeness, but improved on debut run down in trip when winning a maiden at Windsor by a head last time; effective 5f, acts on good to firm; remains open to further improvement, can go well again on handicap debut.

Ardnamurchan progressed from her debut fourth to get off the mark over this trip at Windsor and is respected on her handicap debut, but the vote goes to GOOD EARTH. Michael Herrington's charge wasn't disgraced in fourth over track and trip last time and has kindly been dropped 2lb. With first-time cheekpieces now applied, he could find the improvement required to strike. Hint Of Humour completes the shortlist.

12th (1) (10/1 +9%)Three Non Blondes |
10/1(+9%) | (1) Three Non Blondes 10/1, Scored by a short-head off a 1lb lower mark here penultimate start; forced wide from poor draw last time, same mark here; significant jockey booking; effective 6/7f, acts on good to firm and AW; inconsistent but mark looks lenient judged on course win, big player if handling the ground. |

MASSIMO BLUE made the most of being unpenalised when completing a double at Southwell 20 days ago and further glory may beckon. Dylan Cunha's charge is now unbeaten in two outings for current connections and he looks capable of defying a 6lb rise from the assessor. Dark Side Thunder arrives on the back of a C&D second and he may serve the more resistance to the selection, ahead of Three Non Blondes.

5th (8) (14/1 -27%)Dr Rio |
14/1(-27%) | (8) Dr Rio 14/1, Pulled clear, best form in 12 months landing a handicap by 5l off a 6lb lower mark at Carlisle last time; effective 7-12f, suited by fast ground, acts with some cut; goes well here, capable off new mark.
6th (10) (66/1 -100%)Kitsune Power |
66/1(-100%) | (10) Kitsune Power 66/1, Again well below form tenth beaten 16l off 58 last time; top course trainer; effective 10-14f, acts on soft, good to firm and AW; hard to fancy on recent evidence.

8th (7) (3/1 +33%)Cosmos Raj |

28/1(+30%) | (11) Hunterian 28/1, Again below form seventh beaten 8l off 62 last time, 1lb lower here; effective 7-9f, acts on good to soft, fast ground and AW; down to a fair mark but needs to bounce back.
10th (3) (10/1 +0%)Shimmering Sands |
10/1(+0%) | (3) Shimmering Sands 10/1, Never in it from off the pace sixth beaten 4 1/4l off 75 last time, 1lb lower here; usually held up; effective 10f, suited by sound surface; chance here if getting a better pace to aim at. |

The veteran Dr Rio ran out a comfortable winner on his latest outing at Carlisle and is likely to be competitive once again, despite a 6lb rise. A return to turf may benefit Shimmering Sands as he seeks a third victory of the campaign, but the vote goes to GREAT BLASKET. The six-year-old is relatively unexposed over 1m2f and has held his form well since joining James Owen.

2nd (6) (8/1 +27%)Imperial Nation |
8/1(+27%) | (6) Imperial Nation 8/1, Stayed on but no match for front pair third beaten 6 1/2l in a novice at Newmarket debut; returning from a break; sire high-class sprinter for Ballydoyle, brother to Brave Emperior, very smart around a mile; yard's juveniles tend to come on with runs, should have more to offer stepped up in trip.
3rd (2) (8/15 +7%)Altius |
8/15(+7%) | (2) Altius 8/15, 1 Feb; Frankel colt; half-brother to Aljadara, useful at 9f in France; dam high-class at 8f; top course jockey; top trainer; looks capable of knowing job on debut for elite connections.
4th (7) (9/2 +0%)Kingdom Of Kush |
9/2(+0%) | (7) Kingdom Of Kush 9/2, Very promising, though no match for easy winner runner-up beaten 3l in a maiden at Newbury only start; sire high-class sprinter for Ballydoyle, but looked to want further than an extended 6f; open to progress over this slightly longer trip.
5th (4) (9/1 -13%)Hierax |
9/1(-13%) | (4) Hierax 9/1, Modest, lacked pace in the finish beaten 6l in a maiden at Newmarket (July) on debut; frankel colt, dam Listed 6f winner, half-brother to Dramatised, smart at 5f; well-bred, open to improvement for good yard.
6th (1) (14/1 +0%)Charlemont Gg |
14/1(+0%) | (1) Charlemont Gg 14/1, Improved markedly from debut when winning a maiden at Kempton by a length last time; effective 7f, could get further, acts on AW; trainer/jockey combination worth being on side with at the minute, chance again.
7th (5) (250/1 -213%)Highland Frost |
250/1(-213%) | (5) Highland Frost 250/1, 28 Feb; Gleneagles colt; half-brother to Havachoc, moderate from 7f to 12f; dam smart at 12f; looks an unlikely winner on first start. |

Charlemont Gg took a significant step forward when going in by a length at Kempton and commands respect, but he might find it difficult to give his penalty away to KINGDOM OF KUSH. Roger Varian's juvenile finished clear of the third when occupying the runner-up berth on his debut at Newbury and is likely to have lots more to offer. Imperial Nation is another to note.

6th (1) (50/1 -25%)Antoinette |
50/1(-25%) | (1) Antoinette 50/1, Filly by top-class middle-distance performer Time Test; dam useful miler Reine Du Bal; probably effective 6f; stable can get first time out winners in both codes, watch betting.
7th (4) (40/1 -60%)Cuban Promise |
40/1(-60%) | (4) Cuban Promise 40/1, Stopped quickly well beaten in a novice at Lingfield only start; speedily-bred; has it all to prove.
8th (6) (150/1 -200%)Happy Daisy |
150/1(-200%) | (6) Happy Daisy 150/1, Ran to form beaten 6l in a maiden at Brighton last time; sire a miler, dam a sprinter; plenty more needed but this is easier. |

Although a beaten favourite when third in a class 2 novice at Musselburgh last month, Faith In Florence has leading claims dropping in class. That said, Ed Walker's filly may come up short once more if BIDSTA can build on her opening second at Newbury. The daughter of Mehmas ran with plenty of promise and any improvement could see her collecting. Plastic Dream is the pick of the remainder.

3/1(+25%) | (4) Emerald Bay 3/1, Ran to form tried in blinkers despite slow start second beaten 2 1/2l off 67 last time, same mark here; visor first time; usually held up; effective 7/8f on good and good to firm; remains on a competitive mark.
5th (2) (10/3 +5%)High Calibre |
10/3(+5%) | (2) High Calibre 10/3, Ran to form beaten 1 1/4l off a 4lb lower mark at Newmarket (July) last time; effective 7/8f, acts on a sound surface and AW; in need of a lot more at this level. |

A competitive event for the grade which can see PRINCE KAMEO land the hat-trick after he stepped forward recently with victories at Lingfield and Thirsk. Another 5lb hike doesn't appear overly harsh and Sir Mark Prescott's gelding could prove too strong for High Calibre, who finished a place in front of Emerald Bay when runner-up on his nursery bow at Newmarket. The latter is capable of being in the mix in a first-time visor, while Court Legend shouldn't be discounted following his first success here at the end of last month.

3rd (2) (9/1 -38%)Chapron |
9/1(-38%) | (2) Chapron 9/1, 9 Apr; 75,000gns Nathaniel colt; half-brother to Dark Mandate, fair at 6f; dam very useful at 8f; capable of a good run on debut, but looks to be yard's second-string on first start and may need this.

8th (6) (300/1 -200%)Keegan |
300/1(-200%) | (6) Keegan 300/1, Poor, never a danger well beaten in a maiden here only start; sire top-class sprinter; major improvement needed over this longer trip. |

Saint Of Seville is related to a couple of winners and his dam won the French Oaks so he is one to take seriously with William Buick booked on debut, but it may pay to side with CHYMBULAK. Roger Varian's youngster has shown ability in his two career starts so far, most recently finishing a fair fifth at Ascot, and this extra furlong could unlock the improvement needed to get off the mark. Andrew Balding's newcomers Caldo and Chapron both need to be monitored in the betting.

7th (3) (5/1 5/1)Liberty's Hall |
5/1(5/1) | (3) Liberty's Hall 5/1, No match for impressive winner, very promising effort when runner-up beaten 5 1/2l in a novice at Kempton only start; effective 7f, acts on AW, bred to get middle distances; can do better if getting stiff test. |

Liberty's Hall should have learned plenty from his debut second at Kempton and he rates as the one to beat, That said, there are some intriguing newcomers on show, with DIVINE RHYTHM topping the bill. William Haggas' colt is a half-brother to several useful winners and he could take some stopping if fulfilling his 120,000-euro price tag. Fellow debutants Nostalgic Warrior and Daddy Star are others to monitor in the betting.

HIDDEN GIFT makes plenty of appeal with her sights lowered after her efforts at Royal Ascot and Glorious Goodwood. Those clearly set the standard and the Faheys appear to have found a decent opportunity for her to shed the maiden tag. Myesme went close to making a winning debut at Ayr and shouldn't have any issue with dropping in trip. Halliwell Stream was last seen when fourth at Nottingham behind Prix Morny heroine Senorita Bonita and is respected along with Duty's Call, who sports first-time cheekpieces.

10th (6) (12/1 -9%)Room Service |
12/1(-9%) | (6) Room Service 12/1, Returned to form switched to AW with first-time tongue-tie and blinker combo when winning a handicap at Newcastle by a neck last time; off a short-break; suited by 7f, could get further, acts on any; back in form, proven ability at this level, chance if building on latest. |

The combination of a change of scenery and introduction of a tongue-tie and blinkers saw ROOM SERVICE make a winning stable bow at Newcastle. The five-year-old stayed on strongly to lead towards the finish and the step up to a mile could unlock further improvement. Cerro Blanco has only tasted defeat once in three outings to date, when runner-up at this level at Newmarket in May, and he rates a live threat, along with Nahraan.

11th (1) (40/1 -60%)Ashariba |
40/1(-60%) | (1) Ashariba 40/1, Found nil, had run of race, possibly still needed run when down the field in Sir Henry Cecil Galtres Stakes (Listed) at York most recent; effective 10f, acts on soft; Listed winner last term, conditions will suit but yet to build on promising reappearance this year. |

Fairy Glen failed to land a blow at the top level over an extended 1m7f at Longchamp in May and holds an obvious chance because she sets the standard with an official rating of 112. However, this drop in trip might catch her out and, with that in mind, MORROPHORE gets the nod. The daughter of Kingman was improving nicely prior to running too badly to be true at York last month, but it would be no surprise to see her bounce back. Rhapsody is another to consider.

50/1(+50%) | (5) Aughavannon 50/1, Quickly lost ground, moderate effort well beaten in a novice at Carlisle only start; speed on dam's side of pedigree; looks in need of more time. |

Mubehir needs to prove his second over C&D when sent off at 125/1 wasn't a fluke and a subsequent gelding operation might be something to aid his cause. However, FLORAL MAID appears likely to have his measure. Brian Ellison's filly shaped with plenty of promise when runner-up here at the end of last month and a repeat of that effort might suffice. Fancied Angel and newcomer Woodvale and are others to consider.

SHANALA can make the breakthrough here. The Johnny Murtagh-trained filly has been knocking on the door and wasn't beaten far when third at Navan a fortnight ago. A similar effort may be enough to get the job done now. The handicapper has her top-rated with a mark of 76, 2lb above obvious rival Noble Honour. This Siyouni filly was placed on her first three starts but disappointed after running freely on her handicap debut at the Curragh back in mid-July. Emily Estherfaye outran her odds of 200/1 when fifth at Cork last month and is another that has to come into calculations.

10th (10) (33/1 -83%)Siddal |
33/1(-83%) | (10) Siddal 33/1, Improved, best work late at huge odds when second beaten 1/2l in a novice at Salisbury latest; off a short-break; effective 7f on soft; might have more to offer but it is needed. |

LIGHTNING GLORY gained compensation for several creditable efforts in defeat when landing the spoils at Newmarket last month. The three-year-old boasts a progressive profile and a 2lb nudge up the ratings could prove to be lenient. Dangers are aplenty, headed by Kimeko Glory, who lost little in defeat when attempting to follow up a bloodless Salisbury success at Goodwood. Handicap debutant Withtearsinmyeyes is heading in the right direction too.

Enoch is unbeaten in two appearances so far and is bound to attract lots of support with Ryan Moore booked on his handicap bow, but he is worth taking on with ROUND THE TABLE. Tom Clover's charge was too free when stepping up to 1m4f and was well beaten at Newmarket last month. This drop back in distance looks the right move and if settling better, he ought to go close. Savvy Disko is another to watch out for.

Almarada Prince and Qila have both been knocking on the door of late and they are forecast to be in the thick of the action. However, they could fall short once more if DESERT TREASURE finds a little bit of improvement. The three-year-old posted her best effort since moving into handicaps when finishing a close-up second at Lingfield and a better start may see her go one better.

CAWTHORNE CRACKER improved for the return to hurdling when runner-up at Bangor. He'll likely be sharper for that first outing since July and looks to have strong claims off his current mark. Fine Point posted his best effort for a while on the fast ground at Sedgefield recently. It would be no surprise if Adam Nicol's five-year-old found himself in contention and he's taken to confirm latest running with the veteran Scots Poet.

THEREWILLBEGLORY may be able to confirm Laytown form with Kakori. Andy Slattery's charge had her rival a length-and-three-quarters behind when the pair met on the beach six days ago. The daughter of Cotai Glory shouldn't have any issues with this step back up in trip and can get off the mark. Ready To Mingle was placed a couple of times at Dundalk last winter and is another to consider with in-form apprentice Reese Holohan taking a valuable 7lb off her back.

Edwin Hubble is one to consider having won over C&D on his penultimate start, while Mythological Star arrives in fine fettle and drops back in distance with solid claims in an open affair. However, it could pay to concentrate on one of the less exposed types and BRIGHTON BEACH fits the bill. She endured a troubled passage at Goodwood on her handicap debut, but finished with a wet sail to grab third once in the clear and the Haggas filly is worthy of another chance on that evidence.

First past the post at Goodwood last month, Alice De Clare hampered her main rival and was demoted to second by the stewards. She'll be thereabouts once again if steering a straight line, but NOWSHESDANCING looks a safer proposition. The unexposed four-year-old edged closer to her first handicap success when caught close home at Newbury last time and the daughter of Teofilo is taken to go one better. Rossa Raheen and Ladykirk are others for the shortlist.

Having found only two experienced rivals too strong on debut at Goodwood, this could prove a suitable opportunity for ROKU NANA to open her account. Roger Varian's filly stayed on nicely that day and she could prove a touch too strong for main danger Zephyra. The daughter of Kingman has filled the runner-up spot on both outings to date and another good account is forecast. Ed Bethell's newcomers Engedi and Benedetti are worth a glance in the betting.

This looks a good opportunity for HOE JOLY SMOKE to follow up his recent success at Bangor. A dual winner over fences, the son of Black Sam Bellamy won with plenty in hand back over the smaller obstacles and should have the measure of Handmedownastar. The latter returned the disappointing favourite at Cartmel last time, having scored nicely at Fontwell earlier, while Hopeless Dancer went close in claiming company last time but this is much tougher.

MARE CRISIUM appreciated the drop in distance at Navan 11 days ago and looks up to winning a race of this standard off her current mark. The Sea The Moon filly kept on well when fourth to African Affair on that occasion and remains on the same rating. Concaire also produced a fair effort to finish fourth at Navan earlier in the month and has been eased a couple of pounds since. The unexposed Sweetie Too finished strongly when fifth on her handicap debut at Galway and is likely to have more to offer.

Albertini Star placed over C&D in July and can't be ruled out with a similar effort, while Sweet Horizon makes more appeal than Mystic Music of the handicap debutants.

Remi Mae returns to the turf off the back of scoring at Kempton a fortnight ago. Only 2lb higher, she can feature again, while the recent C&D winner Court Drive could go well with Billy Loughnane taking over the reins. However, it could pay to take a chance on IRONIST bouncing back. George Margerson's filly races on soft ground for the first time since winning last year's renewal and is 6lb lower this time round.

LORIKO could prove hard to beat. Bold Light finished closer when beaten a couple of lengths at Perth last time and may give the selection most to think about, while Continuance could make the frame back at this lower level.

66/1(-65%) | (3) Earthwatch 66/1, Far too free, ran to form when comfortably held in a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan last time; effective 1m, acts on good, good to firm; 1m Flat winner showed useful form in UK but plenty to prove in both codes at present. |

FEMME BEAUTY comes here in fine form and may be able to complete her hat-trick. The Ghaiyyath filly made a winning start for Ger O'Leary at Newmarket last month and is only 3lb higher with Patrick McGettigan negating that penalty with his 5lb claim. Lough Leane was a convincing winner at Down Royal last time but has a 10lb hike to defy for that victory. Tramore winner A Pretty Penny is another to consider.

Evelyn's Phoenix's stamina appeared to be stretched in soft underfoot conditions when third over 1m2f at Ripon and he merits strong consideration reverting to handicap company. However, ABU ROYAL arrives on the back of a close-up second at Musselburgh and compensation may beckon in a retained visor. Although Hostelry finished behind the selection in sixth that day, an improved performance is forecast over this extra yardage.

LIMERICK LEADER is difficult to oppose on the strength of his recent successes. He supplemented a convincing win at Bangor with last week's impressive victory at Sedgefield and a 7lb penalty is unlikely prevent Nick Schofield's charge from landing the hat-trick. Moonlightinthepark wasn't disgraced when fourth at Bangor on her return from a layoff and Charlie Maggs' allowance further helps her cause. Fairlawn Skipper would be of interest if taking up this engagement after his second at Sedgefield on Monday.

40/1(+20%) | (10) Talking Tough 40/1, Outclassed when down the field in a Conditions Race at The Curragh most recent; top course jockey; effective 10-12f nowadays; regressive and can only be watched. |

GUY'S GIRL may be worth a shot in this grade. The Ghaiyyath filly made up notable ground in the closing stages when sixth at Cork late last month. She has been eased 3lb since and cheekpieces could sharpen her up over this shorter trip. Reponse Finale has been running consistently well and was a solid fourth at Laytown six days ago. She looks like an obvious danger, while Chou Chou has been knocking on the door and is another who has to be included on the shortlist.

CONQUER THE BREEZE won by 10 lengths to successfully make it four wins from five starts for the Adam Nicol yard at Perth in July and the assessor may have been kind to only put him up 8lb for that victory. Duke Of Luckley struck in a class 4 event at Stratford on his most recent start and should mount a bold bid, while Garde Des Champs looks up against it.

He did well to finish fifth at Goodwood on his latest start after being squeezed up by a couple of rivals and has been eased a pound since. Classy hurdler Zanahiyr placed on the Flat at Gowran back in April before a trip to the US. He's respected on his return to action, while top-weight Teed Up turned out three times at the Galway Festival and ran well on each occasion.

CAPE WARRIOR has taken the silver medal home in both of his bumper starts, most recently over track and trip, and now has the services of Sean Bowen. With the potential for more to come, he looks the one to beat. Going On changed hands for 21,000 pounds as a yearling and the booking of Brian Hughes on his introduction is noteworthy. Of the remainder, Back In Favour makes the most appeal.

RICH BELIEF has slipped to a tempting mark on the Flat. The Make Believe gelding has run solid races in claiming hurdles on his last couple of outings and this looks like a good opportunity. Gallo Dell Cielo was an impressive winner at Tramore last month. He suffered a 10lb hike as a result and while that makes life tougher, he should be capable of another big show. Miss Gitana ran poorly at Navan last time though would be a player on her previous placed form.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
