LTO Selection:

13:15 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ELINOR DASHWOOD ran as well as expected when finishing fourth in a race full of progressive types at Chester earlier this month and may be able to regain the winning thread on her nursery debut. The twice-raced Lunar Streets also enters handicaps off what looks a workable mark and Ed Dunlop's filly may give the selection most to think about, although Miss Roberts arrives in good heart.

This is probably best left to LUNAR STREETS, who landed a soft-ground Leicester maiden on debut last month prior to finishing second under a penalty at Carlisle where she didn't enjoy the best of runs. She is likely to benefit from this step up in trip and has been handed what looks a very fair opening mark. Buttercross Flyer and Miss Roberts can fill the places.

The step up in trip looks to be the right move for LUNAR STREETS and she is taken to make a winning nursery debut.

LTO Selection:

13:35 Listowel Maiden Hurdle 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TAG MAN appears to have been found an excellent opportunity to finally shed his maiden status over flights. A bumper winner at the Punchestown festival last year, the Henry De Bromhead-trained gelding has shaped well on six runs over hurdles. A handicap mark of 128 is a fair standard in a race of this nature, so it will certainly take a smart performance if one is to beat him here. Just Three belied odds of 66-1 when runner-up at this meeting on his racecourse debut earlier in the week. The Soldier Of Fortune gelding should be sharper for that experience if the race doesn't come too soon. River Tara was a beaten favourite on her hurdling debut at Wexford last month but the former bumper winner has to be respected given her connections.

This looks a good opportunity for TAG MAN, who's run to a fairly useful level on all but 1 of his 6 starts over hurdles. River Tara was let down by her jumping on her debut in this sphere at Wexford but should prove capable of better, while Just Three also enters calculations having shaped well at this venue last week.

Bumper winner TAG MAN may be 0-6 over hurdles but he brings by far and away the strongest form to this table.

Sixth of 22 in sales race at York last month and has potential off his opening mark.
LTO Selection:

13:45 Ayr Handicap (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

In what looks a closely-matched contest, a chance is taken on MEDIA SHOOTER, who was sixth in a valuable sales race at York but is 4lb better off with the reopposing third, Love Billy Boy, for just over a length. Two Tribes narrowly failed to follow up his victory in a decent Sandown handicap when second at Chelmsford latest and a further 4lb rise may not prevent this progressive colt mounting another bold challenge. Master Of My Fate steps up a furlong, which is expected to suit.

ALMARADA showed a good response to pressure when doubling his tally at Hamilton 17 days ago and he appears to have been handed a lenient opening mark for his nursery debut, so he takes preference over Sayidh Kingman who was impressive when opening his account at Kempton last month. Love Billy also makes appeal in a race where the majority can be given some sort of a chance.

The return to 6f should be ideal for LOVE BILLY BOY, whose sales race third at York last month suggests he could be a big player.

LTO Selection:

13:50 Newbury Maiden (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HURRICANE POWER sets the standard after putting up a couple of solid displays to make the frame at Windsor. The son of Exceed And Excel looks well placed to shed his maiden tag at the fifth time of asking. The main danger might be newcomer Rebaatt, who goes for powerful connections and was a 185,000-euro purchase, and any market confidence behind him would be of huge interest. Movie Maker should take a step forward from his debut fifth and he completes the shortlist.

HURRICANE POWER sets the standard having run to a borderline fairly level the last twice, so he has to be considered the one to beat. Movie Maker is from a useful family and seems likely to build on an encouraging debut at Lingfield, with Rebaatt a newcomer to note.

Rebaatt needs a market check but bHURRICANE POWER\p appeals as the most likely winner provided he can hold his form on softer ground.

In good form over fences in the spring (two wins) but is vulnerable on these terms.
LTO Selection:

14:00 Newton Abbot Maiden Chase (Class 3) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A progressive sort over hurdles last season, OUTLAW PETER looks to have plenty of potential on his first outing over the larger obstacles. He won a valuable event at Kempton in March and should have enough to see off Walk In Clover, who won a Grade 2 contest for mares at Cheltenham in April but has a bit to find on ratings.

Narrow preference is for OUTLAW PETER who progressed well over hurdles last term and appeals as the sort to make an even better chaser for the Paul Nicholls yard. Walk In Cover has experience on her side though so seems sure to go well in what promises to be a close-run match.

This ought to be straightforward for chasing debutant OUTLAW PETER, who did very well as a novice hurdler last season.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The lightly-raced VOLANTIS should be capable of making his presence felt from the foot of the handicap. An impressive maiden winner at Fairyhouse back in February, the Ross O'Sullivan-trained five-year-old travelled well throughout when runner-up on just his second start in handicap company at Galway last month. Indeed, if the gaps had appeared at the right time, he may well have got out in time to land the main prize. Filey Bay disappointed on the flat at Tipperary last time but can readily be forgiven that run over a totally inadequate trip. The Galway Hurdle fifth should be a serious contender now that he has his optimum conditions. Icare Allen was a place in front of the latter at Ballybrit but is worse off at the revised weights as he was claimer ridden at the festival.

It's surely only a matter of time before FILEY BAY lands a valuable handicap hurdle and perhaps this will be the day. Ross O'Sullivan's Volantis is another who likely has his name on a nice prize before long after shaping well in a couple of handicaps this summer and he's second choice ahead of Icare Allen, who looks the pick of the Willie Mullins quartet, and Shecouldbeanything.

As competitive as ever. ICARE ALLEN knows what these big-field handicaps are all about and he looks back in top order.

LTO Selection:

14:15 Ayr Listed (Class 1) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

PUROSANGUE was only beaten a neck by Big Evs in the Molecomb at Goodwood and then confirmed that promise when second at this level in the Roses Stakes at York. A reproduction of either of those efforts would give the son of Aclaim a big chance. Beautiful Diamond is an obvious threat having been placed in the Queen Mary and not beaten far at all in the Lowther last time. Queen's Guard rates best of the rest.

PUROSANGE was going the right way prior to a slight blip when only second in a listed contest at York last time and, with the ground likely to come in his favour, he takes preference over Beautiful Diamond, who is closely matched with the selection on form. Queen's Guard is the type to do better still and looks an interesting outsider.

Beautiful Diamond is not opposed lightly but PUROSANGUE's proven ability on soft ground swings the pendulum in his favour.

LTO Selection:

14:25 Newbury Stakes (Class 2) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Serene Seraph was over five lengths clear of the third when runner-up at Salisbury and she could progress once again. However, INVERSION is related to a few high-class winners, including a filly who formed the final leg of a treble in this race for this stable in 2020, and the daughter of Frankel could be primed for a bold showing on debut. Snafiya was a fair third in a nursery at Goodwood on her latest outing and she also enters the reckoning.

SERENE SERAPH has shaped well when placed both starts so far, beaten only by a good prospect at Salisbury 15 days ago, so she looks ready to open her account this time around. The biggest threat could be Lokana, who continued her progress upped to 7f on her latest outing, while Snafiya bounced back to form last time and can give her running again.

Inversion is an intriguing newcomer but SERENE SERAPH has hinted at Group-race potential in her two defeats.

LTO Selection:

14:35 Newton Abbot Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

HONEY I'M GOOD has only won over fences to date, including here in July, and reverting to hurdles looks an intriguing move. She may have had only two starts over timber, but this looks like an ideal opportunity to score. The capable Astroman can give her the most to think about, while Ben Lilly returned from a long absence with a respectable effort at Worcester recently and he is open to improvement.

BEN LILLY showed plenty of ability remains after a year off the track when third at Worcester recently and with that outing sure to have blown away any cobwebs, David Pipe's 6-y-o gets the vote to open his account in this sphere. Presenting Yeats is not the most reliable of customers, but he can give the selection most to think about, with Honey I'm Good rounding off the shortlist back over the smaller obstacles.

Last year's third BEN LILLY returns after a good recent effort and stable conditional Gearoid Harney claims a very useful 8lb.

14:40 Listowel Handicap Hurdle 24f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PUNK ROCK GIRL who ran her best race to date when third at Bangor earlier this month is sure to have been laid out for this meeting. Given her local connections, which include Kerry senior footballer Paudie Clifford, the five-year-old mare will almost certainly be peaking at this time of year. A first-time tongue tie may have contributed to the improvement last time, so it's encouraging that that aid is retained now. Heart of Rome is a lightly raced gelding who should be capable of playing a leading role in a moderate affair such as this. The Paul Nolan-trained representative was third at Down Royal on his latest start. Dunleer Phoenix, another to reach the frame on his most recent outing, is one who should also be involved.

HEART OF ROME posted an improved effort when third at Down Royal and remains with few miles on the clock so gets the nod in an open-looking handicap. Punk Rock Girl rates the chief threat on the back of her excellent Bangor third, although both Meehall and Glorious Singer need factoring in too.

A switch to Terence O'Brien's yard seems to have done the trick for STELLAR SYMPHONY who gets the vote to follow up her Kilbeggan win

QUEEN ME has only competed at the highest level this year, with her best effort possibly coming in the Commonwealth Cup at Royal Ascot, where she was not beaten far into sixth. The daughter of Dubawi steps into much calmer waters and she can gain a well-deserved second career success. Funny Story (second) had Gale Force Maya (fourth) behind when only denied by a neck at Pontefract and can go well once more. Sophia's Starlight has had a cracking season and could also mount a bold bid.

A few with chances. MARINE WAVE shaped really well when third in a York handicap last time so at the likely odds is worth siding with to take this step up in class in her stride. Funny Story also arrives at the top of her game and is feared greatly along with form-choice Queen Me, who acquitted hersel well in York's Nunthorpe Stakes last time out.

The 3yo MARINE WAVE was runner-up in a warm Listed race here in June and is the selection on the back of her unlucky third at York.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

JUBILEE WALK had Boyfriend back in fourth when scoring over 6f at Salisbury and the son of Study Of Man should have plenty more to come on only his fourth start. He makes his nursery debut off a rating of 85, which could underestimate his ability. Fusterlandia started life with Dominic Ffrench Davis by finishing runner-up to a progressive filly at Hamilton and he can go well off the same mark. Commander Crouch was successful at Southwell last week and he could have a say again, despite his penalty.

Richard Hannon saddles a third of the field and his BOYFRIEND could be the one worth siding with having again left the impression that there may be better to come when fourth at Salisbury (1m) recently. Now heading into nurseries, this first try at 7f could well do the trick. Stablemate Liv My Life can give him most to think about, while last year's winning trainer Dominic Ffrench Davis saddles Fusterlandia and he's also fancied to be in the mix.

A good nursery and an open one. The suggestion is EBT'S GUARD who was not seen to best effect when third in his first nursery.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A model of consistency, having not been outside the first two in her last six starts, MANIMOLE sets the standard on the back of an easy success at Southwell earlier in the month. Presenting Nelly arrives with similar claims following her own victory at Worcester, though that was over further and dropping back in trip may not be ideal. A promising third on her debut, Chantilly Rose has since moved to the Dan Skelton yard and is one to monitor for market support.

It's likely this will develop into a straight fight between previous hurdle winners MANIMOLE and Presenting Nelly, with the fact the former has gained her victories around this trip earning her the vote.

Presenting Nelly is not opposed lightly but MANIMOLE ran her rivals ragged from the front a fortnight ago and might dominate again.

SPRING STREET can make it back-to-back wins having registered a first career success at Down Royal earlier this month. The five-year-old was subsequently raised 6lbs for that victory but the hike is largely offset by the excellent Danny Gilligan taking 5lb off now. In a race where very few come into it in any sort of meaningful recent form, the Champs Elysses gelding holds strong claims. Local trainer Eoin McCarthy always targets this particular meeting so his Jesina is an obvious contender. A winner at Ballinrobe in July, the former Jessica Harrington-trained mare was brought down on her next start, before running creditably at Sligo last time. Mr Social has been running consistently of late but needs to prove his stamina for this distance.

This looks wide open but the improving BALLAGH STAR looks the way to go on the back of his excellent Galway second last time out. Roman Parish is weighted to have a big say and next on the list ahead of in-form pair Miss Laura and Mr Social.

This looks like a good opportunity for BALLAGH STAR (nap) who made most of the running when losing out narrowly over 2m6f at Galway

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

A typically wide-open renewal in which chances can be made for plenty. Jordan Electrics was fifth in this 12 months ago and looks to be peaking at the right time in order to mount another stern challenge. Ascot Adventure has been in consistent form and could go well coming off a strong pace, along with stablemate Cold Stare. ASADJUMEIRAH finished sixth in the Silver Trophy at Ripon last month and is 13lb lower than when finishing a creditable 10th in last year's Silver Cup. He shades preference, while Kats Bob and Little Muddy are just two others to consider.

2019 winner MUSIC SOCIETY underlined he's well suited to this C&D when second in another big-field race in July and looks handicapped to strike having dropped 3 lb in the meantime. Jim Goldie pair American Affair, who shaped very well when third over 5f here on Thursday, and Rock Melody head the many dangers. Cold Stare could also have a big run in him if the ground goes soft.

The filly ROCK MELODY (nap) returned to form at Musselburgh last Sunday and caught the eye in the Gold Cup Trial over C&D in July.

15:35 Newbury Stakes (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Richard Hannon is represented by two useful types in surprise Leicester scorer Blue Lemons and the improving HOUSTONN, with the latter marginally preferred in receipt of 6lb. The son of Expert Eye may have a lot more in the locker and can make it third-time lucky. Royal Supremacy, who also looks to have a bright future on the evidence of his Sandown win, is another to be interested in.

A novice with a rich history and this looks another decent renewal with 3 previous winners, but the one who makes the most appeal is HOUSTONN, who pulled clear of the rest when only just failing to reel in the hot favourite at Salisbury. C&D winner King's Gambit, has plenty of scope and is next best ahead of Blue Lemons.

This will take some winning but there was lots to like about how KING'S GAMBIT went about his business here a month ago.

LTO Selection:

15:45 Newton Abbot Handicap Chase (Class 4) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Frankie Faulkner has offered enough in two appearances over fences to suggest that he can play a leading role in this modest contest, although Evan Williams' gelding does need to prove his stamina now beyond 3m for the first time. With that in mind, JANESLITTLEVOICE looks a more solid proposition. The nine-year-old found only a last-time-out winner too strong over C&D last week and a similar level of performance may suffice. Faitque De L'Isle can chase the duo home.

FRANKIE FAULKNER ran well when third here 11 days ago despite a mixed round of jumping and this longer trip/weaker opposition will help in that regard, so can defy top weight at the main expense of Janeslittlevoice, who can fill the runner-up spot for the fourth successive start.

Evan Williams' 6yo FRANKIE FAULKNER (nap) drops in grade after a good recent effort over 2m5f here and probably still has potential.

LTO Selection:

15:50 Listowel Handicap Chase 20f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CAVE COURT catches the eye reverting to fences off a mark which is 14lb lower than his hurdling rating. The Noel Kelly-trained six-year-old has won his last two starts in the latter discipline but remains totally unexposed as a chaser after just the sole run. Stepping up in distance could well bring about further improvement as he bids for a quick hat-trick. Dancing Jeremy also has the potential to progress over fences, given that he has only had the three starts. A winner at Cork last year for Tom Cooper, the grey has raced mainly over hurdles of late. Cahirdown Boy ran very well at Killarney last time given that the late change to soft ground was against him. The more it dries out the better the chance of the locally owned eight-year-old.

MIDNIGHT IT IS has a chase in him off this sort of mark judged on his latest Wexford third and is perhaps a more solid option than Cave Court, who is well treated judged on his recent hurdle exploits but does need to prove he's as good over fences. Pepperocco, who was a place in front of the selection at Wexford, and last week's Ballinrobe second Kilashee are others to consider.

Gavin Cromwell's LEISH OSCARS SON contests his first handicap over fences after a pleasing run at Sligo and he retains potential.

16:00 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

YORKSTONE took a little while to get on the scoresheet but he showed his appreciation for testing conditions when successful over 7f at Doncaster. The way he powered to the line suggested that he won't have a problem with the extra furlong, and he can double up. Ayr regular Retirement Beckons must be considered closely, while Gracelands Girl produced a better effort at Thirsk on Monday. Cosmos Raj has to enter the equation too.

A competitive event with the vote going to COSMOS RAJ, who left the firm impression he'd have been right in the mix with more luck in running at Thirsk last time. Pembrokeshire shaped encouragingly on his recent yard debut at Newcastle and should tighten up for the outing, with Doncaster-scorer Yorkstone another to take seriously.

Having been in good form prior to Ripon last time, when he had an excuse (found to be coughing), POL ROGER can exploit a reduced mark.

ALDAARY has posted some creditable efforts in Group company, most recently when fourth in the Sussex Stakes, and looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to gain a first success of the season now dropped to Listed level. Streets Of Gold shouldn't be far away if judged strictly on the ratings, with the three-year-old likely to appreciate the return to 7f. Biggles ran as well as expected when finishing fourth in the Park Stakes at Doncaster last weekend and he completes the shortlist.

William Haggas took this event 12 months ago and looks to have a strong hand once more with preference for his reliable and mud-loving 4-y-o AL MUBHIR over form-pick Aldaary, who has yet to show his best so far this term. Biggles and Streets of Gold appeal as the pick of the rest for minor honours.

Having been second in the Group 2 Summer Mile at Ascot in July, this could be a good opportunity for ALDAARY to return to winning ways.

Willie Mullins sends his first runner to this venue in ALVANIY and the five-year-old is hard to oppose given the level that he achieved on his recent Galway success. Wonderful Eagle was useful on the Flat in Germany and displayed a good attitude when getting up to win over an extended 2m2f here last month. The Adlerflug gelding will need to improve to complete a double but merits respect, with Thirtyfour Thirty one to note on his hurdling debut.

ALVANIY proved a class apart in a Galway maiden 11 days ago and could take a bit of stopping under a penalty, especially with further progress on the cards. Wonderful Eagle overcame mistakes to make a successful debut in this sphere here last month and is potentially above average, too.

16:25 Listowel Handicap Chase 17f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BARNACULLIA can turn the tables on his Galway conqueror Fighting Fit at these revised weights. The Michael Mulvaney-trained gelding has been busy on the flat subsequently, finishing second at Bellewstown before running fifth in the Ulster Cesarewitch. While he has had a long season, if on song, the six-year-old looks the most likely winner. Fighting Fit had been out of form prior to his festival success last month but will be a serious threat if repeating that Galway effort. Punters are sure to pile in on the gelding ridden by local jockey Gavin Brouder. Roseys Hollow is well handicapped over fences relative to her hurdles form but has yet to exploit what is almost certainly a lenient mark.

The vote goes to BARNACULLIA, who pulled well clear of the rest when beaten ½-length by the re-opposing Fighting Fit on his latest start in this sphere at Galway last month. He meets that rival on better terms here and has been in good heart on the Flat in recent weeks. Fighting Fit should again take a hand in the finish if able to back up his Galway effort, while Irish Blaze is also shortlisted.

Kept busy with three runs on the Flat since finishing second to Fighting Fit at Galway, BARNACULLIA is tipped to reverse that form.

LTO Selection:

16:35 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Jim Goldie holds a leading hand, with his two C&D winners Ayr Poet and ALPINE SIERRA likely to be at the forefront of the market. The latter edges the vote having returned to form when finishing a close-up third at Carlisle and he races off 1lb lower here. His stablemate has already won twice at this venue this season and should go well again, while No Barrier shouldn't be far away if freshened up by a short break.

ALPINE SIERRA signalled he's ready to go in again when third at Carlisle last time and can capitalise on a handy-looking mark here at the chief expense of C&D winner Chinese Spirit. In-form duo Zumaaty and Ayr Poet appeal as the pick of the remainder for place purposes.

The recent rain is a big positive for ZUMAATY, who recently signalled a return to form at Hamilton.

16:40 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GRAND KARAT took a step forward when third at Haydock last time and the first two home from that contest have both earned black-type subsequently. With that in mind, the son of Gleneagles merits the utmost respect here. That said, Military Leader has to be of interest on his racecourse bow given that he is a half-brother to the Group 1-placed Sounds Of Heaven and connections parted with 1,500,000gns to purchase him as a yearling. Orne and Imperial Guard are other interesting newcomers, while Dark Viper completes the shortlist.

GRAND KARAT stepped up on debut when third behind a couple of now useful sorts at Haydock 6 week ago and can put his experience to good use from stall 1. Orne holds an entry for the Futurity Trophy at Doncaster so is a newcomer to note while Dubawi-colt Military Leader is another likely type having fetched 1,500,000 guineas as a yearling.

1,500,000gns yearling Military Leader could be up to the job but GRAND KARAT, whose Haydock third is rock solid, sets the standard.

16:45 Newbury Handicap (Class 4) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Shagpyle was beaten 10 lengths into fourth at Doncaster in late July, but that was a class 2 event and she drops a couple of grades on her handicap debut. She may prove the biggest danger to maiden winner ESMERAY, who impressed at Ffos Las and represents a yard among the winners in recent weeks. Market Value's earlier form would give her a chance, though she is held by Shagpyle on a line through Sea Theme at these weights.

It's likely best to focus on the 3-y-os. It'll be a surprise if there isn't more to come from ESMERAY on the back of her comfortable Ffos Las maiden success and she's preferred to Market Value, who should find this easier than the York listed event she contested last time. Shagpyle may prove best of the remainder.

Market Value could prove a fair bit better than today's mark but ESMERAY (nap), who should progress further, gets the vote.

16:50 Dundalk Stakes 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ALABAMA sets a high standard with an official rating of 99. Aidan O'Brien's charge has been mixing in good company and has a pair of runner-up finishes in Listed class to call upon. The progeny of his sire, No Nay Never, have a decent record on all-weather surfaces so the Polytrack shouldn't be an issue. Vanity Pays showed an aptitude for this surface when pipped by a head on debut at Dundalk in April. She has been competitive since then behind some useful sorts so is well in the mix. Emerald Banner was a solid second in her last couple of outings at Navan and Naas and should be a factor. Expensive-purchase Jakku was unplaced on debut at Naas, however, that was in a Group 3 so she is clearly well thought of. She should be much closer here.

It's tough to get away from ALABAMA, who again ran creditably kept to listed level when fourth at York last month and, provided he takes to this all-weather surface, Aidan O'Brien's colt should prove tough to beat. Emerald Banner has been runner-up on her last couple of starts and she may have to settle for silver once again, with Vanity Pays rounding off the shortlist.

Having run with credit in stakes races on his last four starts, this is a major drop in class for ALABAMA and he should win.

Mixed bag and recent withdrawals would suggest that soft ground is feared.
LTO Selection:

16:55 Newton Abbot Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GOOD IMPRESSION recorded a sixth success over hurdles when appearing to win with something in hand over C&D earlier this month and the eight-year-old should take all the beating off only 4lb higher. The in-form Star Legend has performed with credit on soft in the past and is likely to be in the thick of the action once more. The returning Imperial Measure could also have a say if resuming in the same heart as his fourth-placed finish here in May.

IMPERIAL MEASURE and Star Legend both showed enough on their latest appearances to suggest that they can take high rank in a race of this nature. The former wasn't beaten far in a more competitive race than this here on his latest start in May and gets the nod off the same mark with conditions no problem. Good Impression registered his second C&D success here last time and he has to be taken seriously, too.

The recent rain has scuppered a few of these. IMPERIAL MEASURE looks a good bet to give his running.

LTO Selection:

17:00 Listowel Stakes 14f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Killarney runner-up MINELLA MATE can register his second success on the flat. The former bumper winner won a decent renewal of the Q.R. Maiden at the Galway festival last month, before just failing to follow up at the County Kerry venue last time. Having travelled like the best horse in the race, the John Nallen-trained gelding was just out-battled inside the last half a furlong. Dropping back in trip should be very much in his favour now and it would be something of a surprise if he were beaten. Mr Rango has the next best official rating of those to attain a mark, although it is 10lb below the Nallen representative. With a slight doubt about his stamina over this distance, the five-year-old could be vulnerable. Coeur Sublime hasn't run on the flat since making a winning racecourse debut in 2018 but has progressed into a high-class National Hunt horse in the interim.

MINELLA MATE has made a promising start to his Flat career and is preferred to Coeur Sublime, who has a bit to prove having underperformed on his final 2 outings over jumps. Useful handicap chaser Mister Fogpatches is worthy of consideration, also.

Bumper winner MINELLA MATE has done surprisingly well since his attention was turned to the Flat and this looks very winnable.

LTO Selection:

17:10 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Valley Of Flowers won this race last year from a 4lb lower mark and recent performances have proven that she can compete from her current mark. The five-year-old merits respect, as does Annandale, who struck the woodwork at Redcar last month, though a chance is taken on GLASSES UP. The son of English Channel was unable to land a blow at Musselburgh 23 days ago, but he is proven at a higher level and might be able to strike down in class.

VALLEY OF FLOWERS has been holding her form very well and is selected to land this race for a second year running. There are plenty of dangers however, with Belle of Annandale, a recent winner over hurdles, and Annandale, who ran well from a career-low mark at Redcar last month, to name just a couple.

She might not the best handicapped but VALLEY OF FLOWERS won this last year and looks by some way the most likely to give her running.

Eulace Peacock sets the standard having filled second place in a competitive event over C&D last month, but a chance can be taken on AGE OF BAROQUE. Charlie Appleby's colt is out of an unraced full-sister to the three-time Group 1 winner Golden Lilac and he was a 575,000-euro purchase last year. Fox Legacy showed signs of ability when seventh in a decent maiden at Newbury a month ago and it would be no surprise to see him take a big step forward with the benefit of that experience.

A few in with a squeak but €575,000 yearling AGE OF BAROQUE ticks plenty of boxes and, representing powerful connections, Charlie Appleby's colt is fancied to make a winning debut at the expense of Eulace Peacock, who ran a cracker when runner-up over C&D last month but has the widest stall to contend with this time. Military Artist and City of Delight are a couple of once-raced colts who should take a step forward.

Age Of Baroque is a newcomer of serious interest but Eulace Peacock and FOX LEGACY can put their experience to good use.

17:20 Newbury Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CONCORDE started the season with three victories from his first four starts before a seventh at Pontefract where he failed to act on much faster ground. Back on a softer surface, he may be able to get back to winning ways. Sayf Al Dawla returned from 21 months off and a gelding operation to win at Sandown at the end of July and if he has fully recovered from those efforts, he can go well off just 5lb higher. Dubai Souq is another of interest, especially if allowed an uncontested lead.

CONCORDE may have been unsuited by the quicker ground when last seen at Pontefract and there's every chance he can resume progress after a break, so he takes preference over Sayf Al Dawla, who had something to spare when making a winning return at Sandown. Civil Law should also give a good account.

Sayf Al Dawla and Concorde catch the eye but watch out also for AMOR VINCIT OMNIA.

17:25 Dundalk Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Tricky fare for punters. JACKS INN is a newcomer to note as he is related to several multiple winners. Stall 17 isn't easy on debut, however, he did win a barrier trial here this month so should relish another go on this surface. Love Ya clearly has ability and is proven on the Polytrack. She was a close third on her debut in Dundalk and wasn't outclassed in Listed company at the Curragh. She is returning off a break, but has a low draw to work from and could grab the rail. Perfect Judgement has shown speed on all three starts and ought to be heavily involved. Ger Lyons introduces Holy Roman Emperor filly Sumptuary Law who is well worth a market check. Similar sentiments apply to Jessica Harrington's Holy Roman Emperor filly Gangster Granny. Byzantine Empress is another to consider.

NIKKI SWANGO was far from disgraced in a valuable sales event at the Curragh 12 days ago and this looks a good opportunity on these terms back in a maiden. Perfect Judgement is another to consider, while Sumptuary Law looks the pick of the newcomers.

Both PERFECT JUDGEMENT and Nikki Swango have lots of solid form in the book and slight preference is for Ado McGuinness' colt

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

It may be worth taking a chance on racecourse debutant SPRINGS A GIRL in this finale. Trainer Richard O'Brien, who does exceptionally well with the few horses he runs in this sphere, is almost certain to have one lined up for a track that is relatively local to him. A half-sister to a dual winner for Gordon Elliott, the four-year-old will be worth monitoring in the market. Mount Sinai will have plenty of supporters too hailing from the Willie Mullins yard. A beaten favourite on her debut at Sligo, the daughter of Mount Nelson is surely capable of better. Point-to-point winner Miss Oreo has arguably the best form of those to have run under rules to date and Shark Hanlon is another trainer that loves to target this festival meeting.

MOUNT SINAI couldn't justify prohibitive odds on debut but she still showed a fair level of ability and, with improvement likely, she should take all the beating. Dual-point winner Imperial Fox looks the danger and Baiser Inedit is another interesting recruit having finished third between the flags.

The Mullins-trained Mount Sinai is likely to do better than at Sligo but may not cope with Westerhope who showed promise at Galway

17:45 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Whispering Words returned from a lengthy absence to get off the mark over a mile at Newmarket last month. The daughter of Dubawi has to be respected on the back of that performance but she may struggle to give 7lb to VENUS ROSEWATER. John and Thady Gosden's filly put in a career best when a close second here two weeks ago and she may have more improvement left to come. Velvet Crush, a stablemate of the selection, is also of interest, while Summer Of Love is noteworthy on her belated racecourse debut.

VENUS ROSEWATER was sixth in the Newmarket novice won by the re-opposing Whispering Words last month, but she has evidently improved since and is taken to open her account at the fourth time of asking. That said, Whispering Words still has potential and is greatly respected, despite the penalty, while Summer of Love, also owned by Godolphin, ticks plenty of the right boxes on paper and needs close attention in the betting.

Charlie Appleby's WHISPERING WORDS bagged a Newmarket novice on last month's seasonal debut and is selected to overcome her penalty.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

TALIA could be another winner for Natalia Lupini. She put a big field to the sword over this trip at Cork in June and was third in a much higher grade than this at Naas the following month. Colin Keane is a notable booking for Giuseppe Cassioli who was placed in two handicaps at the Curragh and Killarney over the summer. This son of Bated Breath is a former C&D winner who competes off a very handy mark. There could be more to come from Emorcee on the Polytrack and he gets first-time cheekpieces. Jaafel certainly knows his way around Dundalk while second-reserve Bellick would be a threat if getting a run. Plezantlysurprised is capable here, but has a long absence to overcome.

GIUSEPPE CASSIOLI built on the promise of his previous run when runner-up at Killarney and looks ready to strike having been eased another 2 lb. Plezantlysurprised is a threat off his reduced mark if ready to go, with Jaafel and Talia making up the shortlist.

It's best to ignore DROMANTINE's turf form and she has a good record over C&D; Talia is drawn wide but has a lot of upside

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

OLYMPIC CANDLE may have a 6lb penalty to overcome for getting off the mark in commanding fashion at Ascot earlier in the month, but the drop in trip should not inconvenience him as he looks to follow up. The son of Profitable may have too much for the likes of Salisbury second Debora's Dream and Tsunami Spirit, who shaped with promise when finishing a two-length fourth at Windsor on his debut.

OLYMPIC CANDLE showed the benefit of his initial experience when scoring in good style at Ascot a fortnight ago and he can continue his progress to follow up. The Godolphin colt is taken to see of the challenge of Debora's Dream, who is also open to further improvement upped in trip, with Tsunami Spirit completing the shortlist.

This can go to OLYMPIC CANDLE who was a decisive winner last time and dropping in trip should be no bother.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JAZZ DREAMERS bounced back to winning ways in Bellewstown and could follow up. He wasn't winning out of turn and the runner-up franked the form by going in Galway. Robert Whearty's 5lb claim should keep him competitive. The handicapper has definitely given Sunset Nova a chance. He has nine career victories and will enjoy racing off a mark of 50. Peter Fahey has been among the winners recently and his Qaabil arrives on the back of a runner-up berth at Punchestown last week. A first-time visor could eke out a bit more improvement from James Henry who kept on for third when last seen in Bellewstown, while second-reserve Skontonovski won over C&D in August and usually comes home stronger than most.

Though ABOVE IT ALL has been rather going through the motions this year, there have been more encouraging signs of late and he is worth chancing off this career-low mark. Next on the list is Sunset Nova, who may well bounce back with a bold show now returned to this venue. Jazz Dreamers hit the target at Bellewstown last time and is also shortlisted, along with James Henry and Yester.

He's not the most consistent but JAMES HENRY has a fair shout on the pick of his form and the visor might help

LTO Selection:

18:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

PRIMEVAL has made a perfect start to her career and the step up in trip is likely to bring out further improvement, being a half-sister to multiple Group 2 winner Time Test. A mark of 80 on her handicap debut could also prove lenient, and she gets the vote ahead of last month's C&D winner Rajindri, who has been in very consistent form this season. Newmarket maiden winner Vermilion can also have a say in proceedings.

PRIMEVAL has looked a useful prospect when winning both starts so far, defying a penalty at Windsor with a lot more in hand than the bare margin, and she can complete the hat-trick with the extra furlong likely to suit on handicap debut. Rajindri made it 2 wins from her last 3 races when successful at this C&D last time and is feared most, ahead of Vermilion.

An opening mark of 80 could greatly underestimate PRIMEVAL's potential and she can maintain her unbeaten record.

LTO Selection:

19:00 Dundalk Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The consistent INDIANA GREY could get another turn. Pat Martin's mare signalled that a victory may not be far away when beaten half a length into second at Bellewstown last month. She has won four times in Dundalk and jockey Jack Kearney knows her well. Allo Arry made the breakthrough on the beach at Laytown last week and has to rate a danger on his first visit to Dundalk. It is a long time since Pulse Of Shanghai tasted success, but he enjoys this surface. General Idea grabbed his first victory in a Laytown claimer and, although previous visits here have been unconvincing, he returns with his confidence boosted. Third-reserve Fleetfootsoldier would be a major player if managing to get a run.

Though FEATURE THIS has failed to trouble the judge on turf of late, she's clearly more of a force on the all-weather and is appealing having slipped to a mark 3 lb below that off which she scored over C&D on her latest visit here in April. Hale Bopp took a step back in the right direction when fifth at Gowran recently and he is feared most ahead of Ferrybank and Indiana Grey.

Having made a fine return from a lay-off at Bellewstown, INDIANA GREY gets the nod; Feature This will enjoy returning to Poytrack

19:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WADACRE GOMEZ had subsequent Sandown winner Born Ruler (third) behind when scoring comfortably at Chelmsford last time out, and the extra furlong in distance may only be a plus as he looks to follow up. Pink Jazz could not have done it any easier here when last seen in February, and he must enter calculations on his return, along with fellow course winner Masqool and Pablo Prince.

WADACRE GOMEZ has a steadily progressive record on AW and is narrowly preferred to fellow 3-y-o Born Ruler, who won nicely at Sandown last Friday. Masqool may prove best of the remainder.

With the form of his Chelmsford win receiving numerous boosts since, WADACRE GOMEZ (nap) can follow up off just a 3lb higher mark.

LTO Selection:

19:30 Dundalk Handicap 12f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

KHADAASH will welcome a return to Dundalk. After a couple of third places here, he delivered over further in March which earned him a crack at a valuable handicap at Lingfield in April where he ran on for fifth. A run at Bellewstown towards the end of last month should have him primed for this assignment. Longclaw has had a productive time since switching back to Ireland and looks well worth another crack at the Polytrack. He finished out the back on his sole previous visit here, but showed an aptitude for all-weather tracks when finishing second at Newcastle, Wolverhampton and Kempton last year. With a win and three places accrued on Irish turf this year, he switches back to the sand in fine fettle. S'all Good Man has won two of his last four at this track and has an experienced apprentice on his back. Liberated Light and Killeemore Lad are also in the running for a cheque.

Provided he takes to this surface LUKE SHORT could well be the answer. The 6-y-o went close twice in big-field handicaps last month and it's probably best to draw a line through his latest effort at Roscommon where the refitted cheekpieces (discarded here) may not have aided his cause. Palace Rock was runner-up over this C&D on his latest start in this sphere (also second over hurdles during that month) and he will be a threat if fully tuned-up. Longclaw is third choice ahead of Cold Steel.

In tremendous form over the summer, LONGCLAW (nap) might be able to win again, having been agonisingly denied at Roscommon last time.

LTO Selection:

19:45 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Although Nivelle's Magic is looking for her hat-trick here, she has been put up another 6lb by the handicapper for her Ffos Las success, which may force her to settle for a place. DEE'S DREAM also won last time out, with something in hand, and, although she has a 6lb penalty to carry, connections have decided to strike quickly while she is at the top of her game. Trusty Scout is noted too.

TRUSTY SCOUT continues to shape well and is more than capable off his reduced mark if things drop right for him. Last-time-out winners Nivelle's Magic and Dee's Dream are others to consider.

After a career-best effort on her first crack at 1m4f last time, NIVELLE'S MAGIC can defy a 6lb rise and complete the hat-trick.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Dundalk Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

It was just three runs back that UNION FLAG came home second in a much better grade at Fairyhouse. His fifth in a big field at Leopardstown last month wasn't without merit. The handicapper has eased him by 2lb and 5lb-claimer Robert Whearty has been booked, so he's on an attractive mark for his Polytrack debut. Nevada Brave was a C&D winner in January and warmed up for another winter campaign with a close third over C&D last month. He has a solid chance. Top-weight Draco Pulchrac has banked two Dundalk successes, including this race last year, and should be a player in this company. Lucky Question could have plenty to offer on his first start on the Polytrack after a third place in Naas and a fifth in Cork.

DRACO PULCHRAC is handicapped to win and the return to this trip could see her get back to her best, so she's preferred to Nevada Brave who ran with credit over C&D last time. Fairytale Princess is another one to consider.

Stepping back up in trip after finding 1m1f too sharp at Leopardstown last time, UNION FLAG could be able to get off the mark.

LTO Selection:

20:15 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Diamond Dreamer kept on well to win over course and distance last month and warrants serious consideration despite an added 3lb from the handicapper, but preference is for SYMPATHISE. The winner of three in a row from April to June, she was beaten a little over seven lengths at Chepstow in July after pulling too hard but drops back a furlong here which may allow her to dominate. Bungle Bay is admirably consistent and is another likely to get involved.

SYMPATHISE had an excuse when her winning run was ended at Chepstow in July and is worth another chance to show she's still on a favourable mark. Muy Muy Guapo is unlikely to be far away if reproducing the form he showed when second at Salisbury last Friday, while Guiteau showed he can go close off this mark at Epsom 2 starts back.

He failed to reward good support last time but ORIENTAL SPIRIT is handicapped to win and he can get the better of El Hibri.

20:30 Dundalk Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ROMANN should give Jamie Powell a good spin. This six-year-old gelding has won twice before in Dundalk and a reproduction of his run in a close third on penultimate start in Killarney would have him on the premises. Deluca Chop won over C&D in February and has a shot at doubling his career total. He hasn't been running badly on the turf, but a return to this surface offers a decent chance of another success as this isn't a strong contest. Mads Black Eights is capable of a big run as she enjoys this trip around Dundalk. A recent fourth in Punchestown indicates that she could go well.

MADS BLACK EIGHTS was nearest at the finish when fourth at Punchestown last time and this is a lesser contest, so he gets the nod over Romann, who should benefit from the return to this track. Numidia also merits respect.

It might be worth taking a chance on BLACKSTONE CLIFF, who is a triple C&D winner and has run well enough at times on turf this term.
