Now that the penny has dropped for MANY A YEAR after a taking success at Hamilton last time out, there is likely to be more improvement forthcoming from the five-year-old and he can follow up off just 2lb higher. Only once outside the first three in her last four starts, Bama Lama is entitled to be thereabouts along with Diamondsinthesand, who was caught a bit too far back before staying on for second at Ffos Las in August.

MANY A YEAR was well backed when taking advantage of his reduced mark at Hamilton and remains potentially well treated up only 2 lb. Bama Lama continues in good heart and rates the main threat ahead of Diamondsinthesand, who handles the mud well.

Judged on their general consistency in 2024, BAMA LAMA and Cubanista look the most solid options, preferred in that order.

CRADLE OF LOVE has been keeping very good company since being placed at this track in May and at Listowel in June. Although she didn't trouble the judge in Group races, she should relish dropping back into maiden company. Majestic Wave has finished runner-up on his last couple of starts and his best performance came over a similar trip at Naas when beaten half a length by a horse that has franked the form since then. Michael O'Callaghan's Its All Peachy is likely to improve from her sixth at Leopardstown and fifth in Punchestown. Amavasya kept on for seventh on debut at the Curragh last month which was a promising debut, while newcomer Just Jump is related to plenty of winners.

A huge field to kick off proceedings and its MAJESTIC WAVE who is selected to go a place better than on his last couple of starts returned to sprinting at the expense of Its All Peachy, who has shown promise on both outings and remains open to improvement. Cradle of Love, debutante Boogie Inthejungle and Chester Nimitz are just a handful of others to consider, too.

Below best on soft last time, MAJESTIC WAVE looks the one to beat on his run in a really strong Naas maiden before that

An open contest sees SAYVA get the tentative nod to earn a victory at the first time of asking over timber. The four-years-old won a bumper at Bangor-on-Dee when last seen in June and he makes most appeal in this field. Leader Wing hasn't been seen since his NH Flat race win over 2m1f at this venue in May and he is feared most, while former Willie Mullins inmate Felix Summus is another to consider.

A few in with chances but STRICTLY TANGO has shaped with promise in finishing third on both starts so far so he's taken to put that experience to good use and get the better of Leader Wing, who won a C&D bumper back in the spring and now makes his hurdling debut for a new yard. Sea Legend and Felix Summus and both newcomers to this sphere and can fight out minor honours.

The suggestion is SAYVA, who won on his second bumper start and is bred to make a jumper. Sea Legend is another to consider.

GLOBAL ESTEEM opened his account over hurdles with a victory in novice company at Market Rasen. The runner-up has subsequently boosted that form and there looks to be more to come from Fergal O'Brien's inmate. O'Brien also runs Shelikesthelights, who has having her first outing since April when finding only one too good at Worcester latest, while Quaresome reverts to this shorter trip with a shout.

Fergal O'Brien's SHELIKESTHELIGHTS rates just the pick of the weights and is likely to strip fully fit after his Worcester second following an absence so gets the vote. Alan King's Zodiac Star arrives at the top of his game and seems sure to be on the premises, while in-form duo Quaresome and Global Esteem also need factoring into this open handicap.

The opener might go to QUARESOME, who is likely to be well suited by this sharp, right-handed track and is on a workable mark.

A highly encouraging debut at Windsor when towards the rear for much of the contest, SIXTYGEESBABY did well to run on for fourth late in the piece. Gelded since that effort, he may be able to get off the mark. Dropping back in trip looks like a good move for Arctic Voyage after racing keenly when third on debut at Newbury, while Star Chorus looks to be the pick of the newcomers for leading connections.

DOUBLE RUSH stepped up on his debut run when fourth in a hot race at Haydock a month ago and with further progress likely, he's very much the one to beat. Several of these are open to improvement though, notably Arctic Voyage and Carbine Harvester back at 6f.

The vote goes to ARCTIC VOYAGE, whose Newbury effort suggests this drop in trip will suit. Double Rush is second choice.

SWEET THING showed plenty on debut at Down Royal when beaten half a length into second. She was nicely clear of the third home and that run confirmed her ability to handle rain-softened ground. Camachero's keeping-on fourth in a Curragh maiden reads well in the context of this race. Lanzerac was backed for her debut in Cork, but was eased and her jockey reported that she didn't let herself down on the ground. There should be much more to come from her. Lady Fox is now with her third trainer, but has a notable runner-up berth at this track last year. Platino Bianco and Ukiyo are others with a shot at prize money.

SWEET THING sets the standard based on her promising start at Down Royal 9 days ago and, with improvement on the cards, she takes preference over Yaxchilan, who should find this a bit easier than the race he contested at Gowran last time. Camachero may well be on the premises, too.

A modest enough late-season maiden in which SWEET THING could take the beating after an encouraging Down Royal debut

SEAN OG travelled strongly into the contest when second over 3m at Hexham on Friday and a repeat of that effort would see him go close. Dianne Sayer's charge is 1lb lower here and he could be difficult to stop. Chemical Warfare showed a likeable attitude when scoring over C&D last month, but a 4lb rise may halt his progression, while Whataboutyeh completes the shortlist.

SEAN OG was unlucky to bump into an upwardly-mobile handicap blot at Hexham on Friday and can go one better racing off 1 lb lower. Chemical Warfare resumed progress/winning ways over C&D last month and is an obvious threat, while Whataboutyeh shaped as if retaining all of his ability in the same race back from 14 months off and is entitled to come on for that.

This can go recent C&D winner CHEMICAL WARFARE, although Whataboutyeh ran really well behind him that day and rates the danger.
Class & Speed Card

SCOTTIE'S SISTER took a step forward over hurdles when runner-up at Newton Abbot. The winner was rated 102, so that looks solid form and she can go one better. Sheila Tequila was no match for the winner when second at Plumpton, but that was her first start over timber and she can have a say with improvement forthcoming, while Holywell is a half-sister to a winning hurdler and is a newcomer to note.

HOLYWELL is a relative of a fairly useful hurdler for the stable, which does well in this sphere, particularly with newcomers, so she's fancied to get the better of Scottie's Sister, who has had plenty of experience relative to the others. Tricky To Attract also makes plenty of appeal on paper.

A few of these are of interest but SCOTTIE'S SISTER stuck to her task well when second last month and gets the nod.
Class & Speed Card

Runner-up on each of her last four starts, PIQUE' always seems to do her best work late in races and stepping up in trip could be just what is needed for the daughter of Nathaniel. Jack Doughty's 5lb claim is another plus, and it may be that Dancingwithmyself gives her the most to think about, having scored on two of her last three outings. Divine Presence is another with the potential to improve trying 1m6f for the first time.

The way PIQUE' stuck to her task at Yarmouth 3 weeks ago strongly suggests there's more to come as her stamina is drawn out further here, so she's the most appealing option. Dancingwithmyself and Miss Alpilles were both unsuited by being held up in steadily-run races last time and they could be the main dangers.

All six runners have something to recommend them but the new trip should be of great benefit to SEEK AND DESTROY and she's preferred.

Recent Down Royal third BARTON KEY should appreciate stepping back up in trip. Having been outpaced early on, the Joseph O'Brien-trained colt stayed on strongly inside the final furlong to reach the frame. Although a high draw would have been preferable on the sprint track here, the small field makes it less important. Wish This shaped with plenty of encouragement when staying on to finish fifth at Naas last time. Making his first start in handicap company, the Jennifer Lynch-trained gelding should find this easier. Adrenaline Rush, who showed up for a long way at Fairyhouse before weakening into fourth, is also worthy of consideration. Shane Foley is almost certain to be prominent from his high draw in stall nine.

ZAMBALES disappointed here last time but his mark is a decent one on the pick of his form so is worth another chance. Barton Key is next best ahead of Adrenaline Rush.

An eyecatcher at Down Royal recently, BARTON KEY (nap) should relish this slightly longer trip and stiff finish so gets a confident vote
Class & Speed Card

BELLBIRD ran with credit when finding one too good over 2m at Bangor-on-Dee last month and this extra yardage can see her go one better. Raised 1lb for that clear second, the four-year-old can go well for connections who have a good record at this venue. Knacker Trapper is the biggest danger based on the form of a facile success over 2m4f at Southwell on his penultimate start, while Final Edgar is also capable of making the frame.

GET A SUPERSTAR rates the pick of these weights so is fancied to gain a breakthrough success in this sphere at the chief expense of Bellbird who rates a big threat on the back of her resurgent Bangor second. Bridgetjoans should strip fitter after her recent spin at Perth and is also in the mix along with course winner Final Edgar.

This intermediate trip may be just what BELLBIRD needs now, and she gets the verdict accordingly over Knacker Trapper.

RICKETY BRIDGE made a winning debut over hurdles when successful at Southwell back in March. The five-year-old has plenty of scope for improvement this season and Paul Nicholls' inmate is taken to make a wining reappearance. Mostly Sunny returns to this level with a chance, though carries a 12lb penalty having landed a double during the summer, while Pethers Run has placed in a couple of point-to-points and could give a good account on his debut under Rules.

RICKETY BRIDGE made fairly hard work of it when making a successful debut over hurdles at Southwell in March, but it was under difficult conditions after all, and his fairly useful bumper form suggests he should be up to defying a penalty in a race of this nature. Mostly Sunny will surely pose the biggest threat if bouncing back from a poor effort at Worcester 12 days ago.

Preference is for RICKETY BRIDGE, who made a good start to his hurdling career in March. Mostly Sunny is the obvious danger.
Class & Speed Card

Hot Dancer sets the standard having filled second place on both previous starts, but he could be vulnerable once again. With that in mind, preference is for HOLBORN, who cost 200,000 dollars as a yearling and is from the family of the top-class Minding. Sea Scout and Love Beach are other noteworthy newcomers, while it is far too soon to be writing off Royal Officer.

Expensive breeze-up purchase ROYAL OFFICER ran in a strong maiden at Newmarket last time so is worth another chance to confirm debut promise back from a break. Holborn is a newcomer who makes plenty of appeal on paper so may emerge as the biggest threat ahead of Hot Dancer.

The form standard isn't daunting. HOLBORN and Sea Scout are particularly interesting types among the newcomers.
Class & Speed Card

Saturday's shock 40/1 Curragh winner LISMACBRYAN might be able to reverse Bellewstown form with Art Of Unity. Although the pair meet on identical terms, the Patrick Magee-trained three-year-old is a lightly raced gelding with more scope for improvement. Stepping up in trip is also likely to suit him that bit better than his recent conqueror. Muredach Kelly's Art Of Unity has never won beyond 5f but the nine-year-old could be capable of doing so at this stage of his career. Usually a trail blazer, the veteran settled much better under this jockey when taking a lead last time. If able to replicate that ride, his young apprentice has every chance of another success. Shoebox King would arguably prefer further but the race should be set up nicely for a closer.

ROSATO didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fifth in a big-field Curragh handicap last time and is fancied to get off the mark here at the chief expense of handily-weighted duo Shoebox King and Downforce. Recent scorers Lismacbryan and Art of Unity can both have a say too under their penalties.

An eyecatcher when running on behind Lismacbryan after a troubled passage at the Curragh four days ago, ROSATO can make amends.
Class & Speed Card

JET OF DREAMS accounted for Clean Getaway (second) by two and a half lengths over C&D last month and he is only 4lb higher for that triumph. Warren Greatrex's six-year-old has lots in his favour and can complete the hat-trick. As for the latter, he looks the main threat after his subsequent second at Southwell. Of the remainder, Treaty Boy makes the most appeal on his return to the fray.

CLEAN GETAWAY is proving much more consistent over fences and holds obvious claims having only just failed off this mark at Southwell last week. Jet of Dreams had a bit in hand when scoring over C&D last month and rates a big threat, while Good Lord makes an interesting early switch to chasing having been much improved in handicap hurdles.

The in-form JET OF DREAMS (nap) can complete a hat-trick by confirming last month's C&D placings with runner-up Clean Getaway.
Class & Speed Card

A return to form for ISABELLA BEE would make her difficult to beat. Fergal O'Brien's charge was a comfortable winner over the extended 2m at Worcester in August before disappointing when a remote third over the same track and trip last month but, should she return to form, the seven-year-old will be a tough nut to crack. The consistent The Gypsy Davey is the main danger, while Itso Fury arrives here on a workable mark.

ISABELLA BEE was a shade disappointing on her most recent start, yet she'd previously looked one to keep on side when successful in good style at Worcester in August. She's worth another chance to get back on the up returned to this longer trip. The Gypsy Davey, for all he's become expensive to follow, looks likely to make a bold bid in front. Just Loose Change is another to note on his chase debut.

Isabella Bee is respected but THE GYPSY DAVEY has been knocking on the door this season and gets the nod.
Class & Speed Card

Lazieelunch has to be of interest having won his last three starts but a 5lb rise for the most recent of those wins is a concern. As a result, the vote goes to GENTLE WARRIOR, who put in a career best when second on his nursery debut at Redcar last month and may improve again for this further step up in trip. Chelsea Embankment edges out Manila Thriller to be best of the rest.

GENTLE WARRIOR showed more than in his qualifying runs when runner-up on nursery debut a fortnight ago and with this step up in trip likely to suit given his pedigree, he could be the answer in receipt of lumps of weight from Lazieelunch, who seeks a 4-timer.

The solid option is CHELSEA EMBANKMENT despite him being a six-race maiden. He coped well with the soft ground last time at Sandown.
Class & Speed Card

A beaten favourite at Ascot last month, ISAMBARD BRUNEL can recover losses. The Aidan O'Brien-trained colt has yet to race in this country, having made his debut when fifth at Newbury in August. A Futurity Trophy Stakes entrant, the son of Justify is clearly a strong stayer, a trait that will suit on this stiff track. Stablemate Light As Air, who also holds an entry in that aforementioned Doncaster race, is a definite contender on racecourse debut. The Wootton Bassett colt wouldn't have to be anything out of the ordinary to strike first time out in a race where those with previous form appear vulnerable. Red King, who finished fifth at Gowran on his introduction, should be all the better for that initial outing.

ISAMBARD BRUNEL found the drop to 7f against him at Ascot and back at 1m, he's fancied to get it right this time. Red King's debut was full of promise so he commands respect, along with well-bred newcomer Light As Air, a stablemate of the selection.

Isambard Brunel has the benefit of two runs but a chance is taken on his beautifully-bred stablemate LIGHT AS AIR to trump him.
Class & Speed Card

CAWTHORNE CRACKER showed a big chunk of improvement after undergoing wind surgery when bolting up in a conditional handicap over track and trip earlier in the month. The five-year-old is able compete off the same mark here and that makes him tough to oppose. Asa occupied the runner-up berth in this grade at Market Rasen in July and she should go well off 2lb higher, while A Day To Dream is also noted.

A breathing operation clearly helped CAWTHORNE CRACKER, who ran out a ready winner of a C&D handicap last week and because of the conditions of that race, he escapes a penalty for that. On that evidence, he'll take plenty of stopping, with Asa and Getaway Jewel feared most.

Any ease in conditions would compromise Cawthorne Cracker's obviously very strong chance, in which case ASA could capitalise.
Class & Speed Card

OLIVERS TRAVELS found one too good when beaten narrowly over 3m at Perth last month and a repeat of that effort will make him difficult to beat. Peter and Michael Bowen's charge has been raised 2lb in the ratings for that half-length second but that shouldn't prevent another bold showing. La Renommee should improve for her seasonal reappearance when she was fourth at Perth, while Topofthecotswolds heads the remainder.

OLIVERS TRAVELS is thriving and put up another bold showing despite the odd mistake at Perth last time. If he can put in a clearer round, he should have the measure of La Renommee, who is likely to strip fitter for her recent return over hurdles. The remainder have a bit to prove.

Preference is for three-time course winner LA RENOMMEE (nap), who ended last season with an excellent performance at Cheltenham.
Class & Speed Card

A very open contest sees a chance taken on MILITRY DECORATION (third) who was three lengths behind the reopposing The Colorist (first) over 1m4f at Lingfield. That effort was a step in the right direction for Camilla Poulton's charge and, after further help from the handicapper, the nine-year-old arrives here 5lb lower than his last winning mark. Beau Vintage completes the shortlist in a competitive heat.

DARKZIDEOFTHEMOON shaped well behind Pablo Prince here on his penultimate outing and he's best excused a poor run in the face of a quick turnaround at Wolverhampton since, so he's marginally preferred to The Colorist, who was well backed when scoring at Lingfield 4 weeks ago.

Karen Jewell has three live chances and the pick of the trio could be PABLO PRINCE who still looks on an attractive mark.
Class & Speed Card

Having found only a progressive rival too strong at Newmarket last month, compensation could be on the cards for PRESSURE'S ON. Ed Dunlop's three-year-old makes plenty of appeal racing off an unchanged mark and he edges the verdict over C&D winner Ardbraccan. The daughter of Lawman arrives on the back of some creditable efforts in defeat and another good account is forecast. Handicap debutant Native Souvenir is also worth a second look.

Following a solid third at Haydock on his penultimate start, MR SWIVELL shaped as if still in good form when filling the same spot over further on his most recent start at Chester 18 days ago. A good test at this trip looks ideal for James Ferguson's colt and he earns the vote ahead of Pressure's On, who ran his best race since the spring when second at Newmarket 13 days ago. Native Souvenir and Ardbraccan are others in the mix, with Inversion another to keep an eye on.

The suggestion is PRESSURE'S ON, ahead of Desperate Dan in quite an open contest. A few others are interesting.
Class & Speed Card

SHAVASI has won twice on a sound surface and had plenty to spare over a furlong further at Punchestown last time. The runner-up franked that form recently and the lightly-raced daughter of Muhaarar can defy a 9lb higher mark. Joseph O'Brien also runs Vasda who was Listed-placed when trained in France and showed more on her second run back from a break at Tipperary. She turns out again quickly but would prefer softer ground. Quadruple had been progressive prior to a disappointing effort when favourite for a valuable contest at Leopardstown and may be capable of bouncing back while Golden Ocean won a C&D maiden on good ground last time and is open to plenty of improvement.

SHAVASI cranked it up another notch when a decisive scorer at Punchestown 3 weeks ago and on that evidence, her revised mark may well be within her compass. Tachos is the type to benefit from headgear so she's a threat, along with Golden Ocean.

Any rain that falls will be welcoming for VASDA who ran her best race yet for Joseph O'Brien at Tipperary on Sunday.
Class & Speed Card

CRAZY ABOUT HER shaped with plenty of promise when only finding a well-backed rival too good on her debut at Worcester in August. The daughter of Vadamos might only need to find minimal improvement in order to prove hard to beat. Riviera Walk changed hands for 78,000 euros and is related to plenty of winners, so she would be of interest if the market speaks in her favour. Of the remainder, Beorma is the pick.

Those with experience do not set the bar too high so in the hope the vibes are positive, RIVIERA WALK is selected to make a winning debut. Joto's dam won in this sphere so she's another likely type, while Crazy About Her and That's All Folks should be involved.

The 4yo CRAZY ABOUT HER looks the one to beat but newcomer Riviera Walk would be interesting if the market signals are strong.
Class & Speed Card

BETHPAGE failed in her attempt to complete the four-timer when only making the frame at Worcester in July, but this looks a much easier assignment. Emma Lavelle's six-year-old is only 3lb higher and she can continue her rise in the handicap ranks. Sunday Soldier also had her winning sequence halted on her most recent outing, as she was well held in fourth at Perth in April, but she isn't one to write off. Mulberry Hill rates best of the rest.

JAMINSKA reappears on a fair-looking mark judged on the pick of her form and, with the step up in trip promising to suit, she's put forward as the answer. Sunday Soldier improved in leaps and bounds last season and shouldn't be judged too harshly on her final run at Perth given that came just 19 days on from a big effort in the mud, while Bethpage is another progressive mare who merits plenty of respect.

The pick is JAMINSKA, who was not quite at her best when we last saw her in the spring but resumes on a tempting mark.

After a ready success over 7f at Lingfield last month. this appears to be a good opportunity for YANKEE DUDE to follow up his first victory. Warren Greatrex's runner has the advantage of experience on many of his rivals here and that can be put to best use. The sternest resistance is likely to come from Kameko colt General Admission, who is bred to be involved, while Cy Twombly is also a newcomer to note.

MUSIC OF TIME is a typically well-bred sort for his top yard and he could be sufficiently forward to make a winning start for all that Yankee Dude sets a reasonable standard after opening his account at Lingfield. Breeze-Up recruit General Admission is another one to be interested in.

The betting can help with the newcomers but YANKEE DUDE picked up strongly to win at Lingfield and may defy his penalty.

Having justified favouritism at Sandown last month, Tipsy Tiger must enter calculations racing off just 3lb higher in the ratings. The Postponed gelding isn't taken lightly, but BILLIEGEE may be worth chancing dropping in distance. The James Ferguson-trained filly appeared to find 1m4f on softer ground stretching her stamina when weakening into sixth at Newbury 19 days ago and she is fancied to resume her progress. Amancio completes the shortlist.

TIPSY TIGER is going through a good spell and can get the better of Amancio once again despite a 2 lb swing in the weights. Steel Tiger is a potential improver now switched to handicaps after a break/gelding operation and is another to consider.

This may concern TIPSY TIGER and Amancio who finished first and second under similar conditions at Sandown.

PLUNKETT STREET got off the mark when beating an in-form rival over C&D last month and may be able to defy a 6lb higher mark. Michael O'Meara's six-year-old has improved for the recent application of headgear and goes well on a sound surface. Gotta Catch'em All showed more when stepping back up in trip at Bellewstown where he was runner-up over 1m4f. Coming back a couple of furlongs may not be ideal but the stiff nature of this track will help. Calzaghi showed promise over 7f at Tipperary in May but has been off since and will have to prove his stamina while Special Angel was game from the front when winning over 1m1f on her penultimate start.

GOTTA CATCH'EM ALL ran well off his reduced mark when a back-to-form second at Bellewstown last week and tops the shortlist ahead of Plunkett Street and Calzaghi.

A 6lb rise isn't the end of the world for recent C&D winner PLUNKETT STREET who has run well off this mark in the past.

I'D GO MANIAC made a strong impression when running out a five-and-a-half-length victor on his second bumper start at Market Rasen in July. Alan King's five-year-old now has a 7lb penalty to carry but, considering the manner of that success, he might be up to the task. Point-to-point winner Lady Kluck changed hands for 75,000 pounds and it would be no surprise to see her go well, while any market support for Batsman with Nico de Boinville booked should be noted.

Those with previous form set a fair standard and it could pay to side with point-scorer LADY KLUCK. She appeals as a likely type on paper for a yard boasting a healthy strike rate with their runners in this sphere so far this term and could be the way to go. Court In A Storm and Market Rasen winner I'd Go Maniac are others on the shortlist.

The 7lb penalty that I'D GO MANIAC incurs for winning at Market Rasen in July may not halt his progress. Lady Kluck is next best.

DETAIN made a promising start to his career when getting off the mark at the first attempt over C&D in August and he should be difficult to beat. With an entry in the Group 1 Futurity towards the end of the month, this appears to be a stepping stone for John and Thady Gosden's runner. Arc-winning trainer Ralph Beckett saddles newcomer Ar Rayyan for his first taste of racecourse action and he isn't easily discounted, while The Hare Rail has shaped in his two starts to date as if he'll be winning races before long.

DETAIN looked a top prospect when making a successful start over C&D 7 weeks ago, coming from a fair way back and displaying a fine turn of foot to seal matters under hand riding. That form is working out and this Futurity entry can remain unbeaten. Ar Rayyan heads up a bunch of interesting newcomers, while The Hare Rail could outrun his likely odds stepped up in trip.

Ar Rayyan is an interesting newcomer but DETAIN looked a colt with serious potential on his debut here in August.

POSITIVE ENERGY made late headway from off the pace to finish third over a mile at Killarney in July and it was a similar story at Galway last month where he met some traffic early in the straight. The Make Believe gelding looks worth a shot at this longer trip and is down in grade as well. Step To Somewhere was disappointing on the all-weather last time but had gone close on handicap debut at Clonmel and is now tried in different headgear. Thefullbackline, back to form at Down Royal recently, has been placed over much further and should be coming home well up the hill while Forlio has been running creditably of late but would prefer softer ground.

POSITIVE ENERGY took a step back in the right direction and would have given the first two more to think about with a clear run at Galway last time, so he's preferred to Forlio in a race where the bulk of the field have something to prove.

Colin Keane is the only jockey to have won aboard FORLIO who was given too much to do when favourite at the Curragh last time.

HUCKLESBROOK attempted to make all the running but was just touched off by half a length into second at Sandown in August. The son of Aclaim now sports a first-time hood, which could eke out the improvement required to go one better on only his second start in a nursery. Berning Hot arguably produced the best effort of her career so far when finishing fourth at Doncaster on her penultimate start and she is one to note, while Fort Augustus and Panenka both warrant market checks.

Lots with chances but FORT AUGUSTUS appeals as a likely improver now stepping into nurseries so gets the vote off an attractive initial mark. Hucklesbrook is weighted to have a big say on the back of his excellent Sandown second and next on the list ahead of handicap debutants Lovestruck Romeo and Nightbird.

A wide-open nursery in which SWEET SONATA is tentatively preferred to Hucklesbrook, Nightbird and Rogue Bullet.

William Buick chooses Scarlet Princess over Dawn Sky out of the pair of Godolphin newcomers in this contest. The former is a half-sister to dual Group 2-winner Loxley, so it would be no surprise to see her go close on her racecourse debut. However, CAST PARTY looks the way to go. John and Thady Gosden's youngster made a highly promising start to her career when finishing third at Newmarket last month and she could take a big step forward from that display to get her head in front. Requisite is another to take seriously after her third at Sandown.

Lots of potential on show here, not least the Gosdens' Sea The Stars filly CAST PARTY who made a promising start when third at Newmarket and can take a sizeable step forward now. Charlie Appleby's Kingman filly Scarlet Princess could emerge as the chief threat, with Sandown debut third Requisite and debutantes Dawn Sky and Club Class also worthy of consideration.

Ralph Beckett's REQUISITE may have chased home two smart prospects at Sandown and her yard's 2yos usually come on for a run.

Green Power showed a lot more when making the frame in this grade over track and trip on his latest outing and he should mount a bold bid off 1lb lower. However, it may pay to side with BEAUTY GENERATION, who was far from disgraced in third over C&D last month. A first-time visor could bring out the improvement needed to regain the winning thread. Mbappe is the pick of the remainder.

C&D winner MIDNIGHT DRIVE signalled she's ready to go in again when a promising fourth here last time out so edges the vote in this highly-competitive handicap. Pursuit of Truth goes into handicaps with more to offer so is next on the list ahead of the resurgent Falcon Nine and C&D scorers Kaaranah and One Step Beyond.

Midnight Drive and Mbappe have more to come over C&D but well-connected PURSUIT OF TRUTH is interesting on his handicap debut.

CHALK MOUNTAIN continues to go from strength to strength and turned out again quickly after a comfortable success over C&D last week, the four-year-old can follow up under a 5lb penalty. Not beaten far in his attempt for the double at Sandown, Hat Toss looks to be a key player along with Asimov, who may improve for going back up in trip having scored over 6f at Newcastle last month. Mezzo Soprano and Upscale are capable of being in the shake-up as well.

CHALK MOUNTAIN completed the hat-trick in the style of one with plenty more to offer when landing a C&D handicap last week and, turned out under a penalty, he looks a big player again. Mezzo Soprano, following her encouraging third over this track/trip recently, is another to consider, along with Upscale and Asimov.

The return to AW has been the making of CHALK MOUNTAIN (nap) and he can go in again. Upscale looks to be the main danger.

Narrowly denied over 6f at Lingfield when last in action, LA VERITE is interesting on her first start for new connections and she may be able to get off the mark in a winnable contest. A relatively promising fourth over this distance at Wolverhampton last time out, True Blue Gent has run well here before and has to be of interest. Unexposed handicap debutant Twilight Truth appears best of the remainder.

Not a strong contest by any means and with that in mind it could pay to take a chance on GLASTONBURY. He's not figured in a trio of quick-fire maidens but appeals as the type to make his mark starting out from a low base in handicaps for his good yard and he gets the nod to find the requisite improvement. La Verite on debut for Patrick Owens and Marco Botti pair Sneaky Girl and True Blue Gent head the dangers.

Irrelevant can go well but the return to 7f and Class 6 company, coupled with new headgear, can see HAVANA MOJITO bounce back.

This appeals as an ideal opportunity for HIERARCHY, with the five-year-old having bounced back to form of late with placed efforts at Salisbury and Hamilton. Jamie Osborne's charge is now 5lb lower than his last winning mark and he gets the vote ahead of Laguna Boy, who has strong claims on his penultimate success over further at Chelmsford. Tiger Tulip has been knocking on the door of late and she is another who can have a say in proceedings.

LAGUNA BOY shaped better than the result at Chelmsford last time and there should be a bigger effort coming if stall 10 doesn't scupper him, so he's preferred to Hierarchy who, admittedly, has a more favourable draw. Big R should be on the premises.

Hiatus and Hierarchy are feared but the unexposed LAGUNA BOY could take another step forward now dropped back to sprint trips.
Ths is the racecard key.
