There were 46 Races on Friday 10th October 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 7 races at Newmarket, 8 races at Chepstow, 7 races at York, 7 races at Downpatrick, 9 races at Kempton, 8 races at Dundalk, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

The progressive BRUSSELS posted a personal best with a tongue-tie added when a close second in the Middle Park over 6f here. Having led that Group 1 event a furlong out, dropping down to the minimum trip looks well worth exploring. Flying Childers winner Revival Power is also flourishing and her proven speed will be a big asset. Oisin Murphy switching to her stable companion Argentine Tango is intriguing, while Spicy Marg is surely better than she managed in the Nunthorpe and reverting to her own age group could prompt a revival.

Improving filly REVIVAL POWER is taken to emulate her best sibling Winter Power by landing a Cornwallis. Spicy Marg is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

Paul Nicholls sent out a couple of winners last month and FASOL could prove good enough to defy a penalty. The maiden hurdle winner finished a determined third in a tough handicap at Sandown in April and looks to have solid claims back in novice company on the strength of that form. Frontier Prince went close at Uttoxeter on his hurdling bow and is likely to prove competitive, while Karonacho is worthy of consideration on his first start over timber.

Although penalised, FASOL's competitive pieces of form in some strong handicaps sets the bar quite high and he might be up to the task.
Class & Speed Card

Having only gave way in the closing stages to finish fourth at Ayr last month, NORTHERN EXPRESS could be poised to land a nice purse. A 1lb ease in the ratings can only help the veteran and an eighth career victory may be on the cards. Bopedro arrives on the back of a respectable fourth at Doncaster and is feared most, ahead of Whip Cracker, who has filled the runner-up spot on his last two outings.

The prolific filly JANNAS JOURNEY could still have mileage in her mark and she is taken to post her eighth win since July.
Class & Speed Card

The highly-regarded MUBASIMAH looks an exciting prospect for Andrew Balding to go to war with next season. The daughter of Frankel impressed when she made every yard of the running to account for Shady Dame on her debut in a C&D maiden and could have the raw talent to cope with this higher level. Classic Cuvee's Doncaster breakthrough success has a solid appearance and she also looks a key player. Calendar Girl was a ready winner of a big sales race at the same venue and is another must for the shortlist.

Particularly solid is CLASSIC CUVEE (nap), who has strong debut form and proved gutsy next time. Calendar Girl is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

TASHAN won twice in junior hurdles last year and could prove the one to side with on his reappearance. The convincing winner at Taunton when last in action, he should have plenty more to offer as a four-year-old and Harry Cobden's presence is another positive. Second in a bumper at Bellewstown, Doctors Hill debuts over timber with a shout having subsequently switched yards, while Blue Carpet and Arcadian Star are others to keep an eye on.

This could be quite open but preference is for MASKED MAN who couldn't have won his Irish point any easier.
Class & Speed Card

Big Song made light work of the opposition on his nursery bow at Newmarket 15 days ago and must enter calculations on his current upward trajectory. However, GHOST MODE was a shade more impressive when opening his account at Chester last month and he may prove to be better treated at the weights. The unexposed Real American and hat-trick seeking Malachy's Wish look to have bright futures as well.

Having kept on well for fourth in the 6f sales race here at the Ebor meeting, ASTRAZAR gets the nod ahead of Ghost Mode.
Class & Speed Card

This looks a nice opportunity for the Gavin Cromwell-trained LUKER'S TIPPLE to open his account. Runner-up on more than one occasion for his previous yard, the four-year-old shaped with plenty of promise on his stable debut when sixth in the Lartigue Hurdle at Listowel last month. Back in these calmer waters, he looks to have strong claims and, with an official rating of 118, he certainly sets a fair standard. The John McConnell-trained Black Gem stepped up on his hurdling debut to reach the frame at Kilbeggan and should be capable of progressing further. Similar comments apply to recent Gowran Park fifth Tropical Twist.

This is weak and LUKER'S TIPPLER has found the perfect opportunity to finally break his maiden tag
Class & Speed Card

The presence of Audience virtually assures this will be run at a good gallop. That scenario would be ideal for COSMIC YEAR, who won the King Charles II Stakes over C&D in May and has been highly tried since. His second in the Irish 2,000 Guineas is a solid yardstick and a replication of that form could suffice. French raider Beauvatier is effective over this trip and is another likely to be pushing the pace so should be thereabouts.

Back from a break and back down in distance, COSMIC YEAR is worth another chance to show he's capable of winning a Group race.
Class & Speed Card

SOMESPRING SPECIAL makes plenty of appeal on the back of last month's close third at Fontwell. That was her first outing after a wind operation and she could prove capable of winning off her current mark with further improvement a distinct possibility. Springs A Girl returns to the fray with a fine effort at Worcester and this longer trip shouldn't be an issue, while Lahinch Wave and Lady Jago also enter calculations.

Most have chances. SOMESPRING SPECIAL has the benefit of a recent run and it was a good one at Fontwell after wind surgery.
Class & Speed Card

Hornsea Bay has posted several creditable efforts in defeat in handicap company this summer and another good showing is forecast. However, the son of New Bay could prove vulnerable to something unexposed, with MUKHTALIF fitting the bill. William Haggas' charge supplemented a decent second behind a subsequent 88-rated rival at Haydock with a breakthrough triumph at Newcastle last month and an official rating of 81 could prove to be lenient. Dante's Lad is also worth a second look.

Mukhtalif scraped home at 1-7 in a four-runner maiden. PAROLE D'ORO gets the vote ahead of Canvas and Hornsea Bay.
Class & Speed Card

Lightly raced over hurdles, four-time Flat winner DERRY LAD is undeniably well handicapped. An eyecatching eighth of 23 on his most recent outing over flights at Leopardstown in December 2023, the gelding has moved to Emmet Mullins in the interim. Although yet to recapture his best form this season, the seven-year-old could be reignited by a switch back to jumping. Any market confidence ahead of this race should be noted. C&D maiden hurdle winner Diamond Tipp looks the main threat. Despite failing to back up that run here last time, the mare had her excuses on the day. Longstanding maiden Whispering Hopes is also not without her chance.

None of them jump off the page, so C&D winner DIAMOND TIPP is given another chance following her poor run over further here last time
Class & Speed Card

As seen again last Sunday at ParisLongchamp, Aidan O'Brien has been dominant with his two-year-olds this season and there is every reason to suggest that PRECISE can improve again. A determined winner of the Moyglare, that proven Group 1 experience could prove decisive in landing her trainer a record seventh Fillies' Mile. Legacy Link is bred in the purple, with her dam a sister to Frankel, and showed distinct improvement from her first to her second start when scoring easily at Haydock, but she will need to step up again. An unlucky fourth when slowly away and short of room at a crucial stage in the Natalma Stakes at Woodbine, Dance To The Music should appreciate a return home. Queen Of Hawaii is another to consider following a taking success in Group 3 company at the Curragh.

Beautifully bred LEGACY LINK brings huge potential and may well be capable of reaching or surpassing the standard set by Precise.
Class & Speed Card

The Mickey Bowen stable can do little wrong at present and COURTLAND has every chance of getting his head back in front. Runner-up in the Summer Plate in July, the 10-year-old is narrowly preferred to Lord Accord, who was a promising second at Cartmel last time out and only last November was placed in the Badger Beer off 5lb higher. A taking winner at Fakenham when last seen in May, for which he has been raised 3lb, Le Milos completes the shortlist with the capable Torn And Frayed.

The suggestion is TORN AND FRAYED (nap) who is back to nearly 3m after contesting two Cheltenham handicaps over much shorter.
Class & Speed Card

La Belle Forest changed hands for 165,000gns as a yearling and is a half-sister to a juvenile winner, so she warrants a market check on her introduction. However, THALUNA made a promising debut when filling the runner-up spot over 5f at Ascot last month and is likely to relish this extra furlong. William Haggas' youngster could have any amount of improvement to come and looks the one to beat. Any market confidence behind newcomer Hallo Spaceboy would be interesting.

There was lots to like about the debut second of THALUNA at Ascot and she is taken to go one better. La Belle Forest is feared.
Class & Speed Card

The subject of strong market support when third at Killarney last weekend, the locally-trained BRINGSTY can recover losses. A five-time winner on the level, the Noel Kelly-trained gelding looks well handicapped over hurdles relative to that form. Having improved on previous efforts when keeping on to reach the frame at the Kerry track, it would be no great surprise to see that progress maintained. Parkgarve had been a solid performer prior to virtually refusing and unseating his rider at the first flight at Gowran Park. If none the worse for that mishap, he can be involved. Runner-up here last month, the Dermot McLoughlin-trained Centaq is another with fair claims.

It is hard to get away from the 18lb lower hurdles mark held by SOMEONE'S WISH and he can take advantage if sufficiently ready
Class & Speed Card

RESPOND caught the eye when rallying late for third over 1m2f at Doncaster and, as a son of Ghaiyyath, stepping up in trip is likely to suit. Oisin Murphy returning to the saddle certainly won't hinder his chances and Andrew Balding's gelding is preferred to Dangerman, who is worth another go at this trip after giving that impression when scoring twice at Sandown. Raised 6lb for a determined success at the Leger meeting, Munsif must enter calculations, while Yabher has each-way claims on his victory at Sandown in July.

An assurance that Respond will settle adequately would put him top of the list. In the absence of that, the vote goes to MUNSIF.
Class & Speed Card

QUEENSBURY BOY may have been outclassed when last seen at the Punchestown Festival in Grade 1 company, but that was just his third start in this sphere and connections clearly think plenty of him. An easy winner at Newbury and Doncaster before that, Harry Derham's charge sets the standard ahead of Sticktotheplan, who is now in the hands of Olly Murphy after a taking success over shorter at Galway in July. An easy winner last month at Newton Abbot, Jack Hyde is another with potential for improvement on the step back up in trip.

Harry Derham's QUEENSBURY BOY had looked a smart prospect until failing to give his running in an Irish Grade 1 in May.
Class & Speed Card

CLEAR FORCE had the now-absent Concert (third) and Lil Brother (fourth) behind when beaten half a length into second at Haydock last month and is just 2lb higher so Karl Burke's colt is fancied to regain the winning thread. Mighty Magnus was far from disgraced when taking the silver medal home at Hamilton and has to be respected off an unchanged rating.

Lil Brother is better than he could show at Haydock but UTMOST RESPECT may be the answer now eased slightly in class.
Class & Speed Card

A bumper winner on his Rules debut at the Leopardstown Christmas meeting in 2022, POUR LES FILLES has obviously had some training issues since and has only run four times in the past two years or so. Narrowly denied over a shorter trip when last seen at Down Royal in January, Gordon Elliott's charge can go one better on this occasion. A respectable third over shorter at Cork last time out, Eco Pete has plenty of experience, and must enter calculations with Bold Rhyme, who hasn't shown much recently, but may be suited by the rise in distance.

Seemingly a fine opportunity for the reappearing POUR LES FILLES. Eco Pete looks next best
Class & Speed Card

TAROT has shown ability in each of her three starts, most recently finishing third over 7f here, and this drop back in trip looks the right move. Roger Varian's filly sets the standard with an official rating of 83 and will prove hard to beat. Valdorcia shaped with promise when making the frame on her introduction over C&D and is likely to be on the premises. Of the remainder, Albaydaa makes the most appeal.

Tarot sets a good standard, but preference is for ALBAYDAA who ran green at Yarmouth and could leave that debut form well behind.
Class & Speed Card

ACT OF KINDNESS returned a beaten favourite here on last month's debut, but still displayed plenty of ability in finishing third. She'll know more now and Charlie Appleby has sent out the winner of this contest five times since 2019. Hatour is a half-sister to a couple of Group 2 winners in Australia and it would be no surprise to see her feature. La Mer Noire and Velvet Goldmine are other newcomers of interest.

The clear pick of the runners with experience is ACT OF KINDNESS. Wadooda and Hatour are particularly interesting debutantes.
Class & Speed Card

A chance can be taken with DOUBLE POWERFUL, who excelled himself over hurdles last season and could be a strong recruit to the chasing sphere. Placed in valuable spring handicaps at Kempton and Aintree, the son of Ocovango remains unexposed at staying trips and the 10lb he gets from the in-form Art Of Diplomacy, who has won five of his last six, may prove crucial. Narrowly getting up to score at Worcester last month, Coco Mademoiselle continues to thrive over fences and has to be a threat to all.

All five are interesting. Art Of Diplomacy and COCO MADEMOISELLE are in the zone after their recent wins.
Class & Speed Card

Dropping back to 5f has been the making of KINSWOMAN and an 8lb rise for her comfortable victory at Chester could prove lenient as she goes up in grade. Azure Angel bounced back to form with a success at Southwell and is capable of being in the shake-up, along with the in-form Roach Power, who scored at Ascot only last Saturday. Copper Knight has had a few attempts at landing the race named after him but arrives in top form after scoring at Redcar last week, while Portland winner Eternal Sunshine is another to note.

Kinswoman still has potential at 5f but AL HUSSAR (nap) bumped into one last time and looks ahead of his mark.
Class & Speed Card

HITTHEHAYSON was having his first run for Ian Donoghue when scoring in good style over 2m4f at Roscommon last week and the Jukebox Jury gelding gets the vote to follow up over this longer trip off 7lb higher. Schiehallion had previous C&D winner Georgia Celena (third) behind when runner-up over 3m at Down Royal last time out and he can uphold that form. Wild Mandate is interesting on the step up in trip, having beaten all bar Tir Og (won again since) at Sligo, while Oogum Boogum merits respect on his second to Sporting Glance at Galway last month.

This is an open race but HITTHEHAYSON made an immediate impact on stable debut last time and he can keep progressing
Class & Speed Card

Royalist produced a better effort to make the frame on his handicap bow over track and trip last month and has to be respected for the in-form Richard Hughes yard. However, FANJOVE readily took care of his nearest rival by just under four lengths over 7f at Newcastle on his most recent start and a 6lb penalty is unlikely to prevent him from following up. El Carrusel is another to watch out for.

Topweight FANJOVE took his form to a whole new level when dominating from the front at Newcastle last week and can overcome a penalty.
Class & Speed Card

SAND GAZELLE came up just short when second in a Group 3 at the Curragh last time. However, that effort looks stronger in hindsight given the third has subsequently won a Group 1 contest in France, and the daughter of Frankel gets another chance. Skellet tries her luck over a longer trip having placed over a mile in a Group 3 at Sandown, while Falakeyah enters calculations on her victory in the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes here back in May.

Eye-catching Falakeyah has been headstrong. Slight preference is for VICTORY QUEEN ahead of Charlotte's Web.
Class & Speed Card

A respectable fifth in the Middle Park, KANSAS should find this easier. The son of Wootton Bassett had previously shown that he has the speed for this trip when runner-up in the Flying Childers at Doncaster. Narrowly beaten by Ipanema Queen at the Curragh on his most recent Irish start, the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt is weighted to reverse that form. British raider Sirius A warrants plenty of respect for the James Horton stable. A close-up third in a Group 3 at Kempton, the son of Palace Pier is proven on an artificial surface. By The Lake and the aforementioned Ipanema Queen are also worthy of consideration.

A strong renewal but KANSAS sets the standard on his Flying Childers second
Class & Speed Card

There was plenty to like about Lundi Noir's winning debut at Market Rasen last season. However, the four-year-old's lack of experience could prove telling on his handicap bow and RAZZLE DAZZLE BOY is slightly more appealing. Having finished his last campaign with a decent second over an extended 2m at Newbury, the son of Hillstar is bred to relish this step up in trip. Last-time-out winners Activist and The Magus are the pick of the remainder.

The most interesting one is handicap debutant BLOCK ROCKIN BEATS who, if judged on bumper form, could be on a very good mark.
Class & Speed Card

Aiden Brookes landed this contest last year and looks to be on another ideal sort in the shape of VIXEY, who is in the form of her life at present and beat a couple of subsequent winners at Chester most recently. Tim Easterby has a strong hand, with dual C&D winner Quest For Fun leading the way, although Candonomore could not have done it much easier at Newcastle last month. Completing the shortlist are Daring Legend, Highfield Viking and Little Empire.

The return to better ground is a positive for YAASER, who is now 3lb lower than when fourth of 19 here in July, and he earns the vote.
Class & Speed Card

THE ELECTRICAL KID was placed over hurdles and has shown plenty of promise on both starts since switching to fences this season. The lightly raced eight-year-old hails from a yard in excellent form and beat all bar better fancied stablemate Birdie Or Bust at Listowel last month. Arriving here on a hat-trick after a pair of comfortable successes over hurdles, Torquay Road must be of interest on his first start over the larger obstacles. Riding arrangements suggest Sophia Rose, a maiden hurdle winner at Sligo, is preferred of Gavin Cromwell's two runners, and she completes the shortlist.

It was a better race than this that ELECTRICAL KID (nap) finished second in at Listowel and a repeat of that will be enough
Class & Speed Card

MY BOY HARRY has made the frame in this grade the last twice, with his latest display coming over C&D. The son of Massaat now sports a first-time visor, which may eke out the improvement required to strike. Elvetham wasn't at his best when beaten at Lingfield last time and might be better judged on his second at the same venue prior to that. Jimmy Henry isn't ruled out either.

Brighton winner MY BOY HARRY has finished placed on Polytrack in his last two starts and gets the vote.
Class & Speed Card

Runner-up on her introduction for previous connections, FLAWLESS FUSION can go one better. Prominent throughout at Leopardstown in June, the Dawn Approach filly kept on well to reach the frame. Sure to be all the better for that experience, she looks to hold strong claims on her first start for Joseph O'Brien. A staying-on fifth at this track, Stella Amorosa should appreciate the additional furlong and the Noel Meade-trained daughter of Starman is well drawn on her return visit. A consistent sort who has been placed on all five career starts, Lucia Molly shouldn't be far away.

With Killashee Warrior a non-runner after her win at Thurles on Thursday, this looks a good opporunity for FLAWLESS FUSION
Class & Speed Card

A switch to more aggressive tactics saw SWEET CARYLINE making all at Newton Abbot in May. Joe Tizzard's mare scored with something in hand and is fancied to defy a 5lb higher mark on her return from a break. Jackeline found only a subsequent winner too strong on her final outing last season at Hereford and she's likely to be in the mix if performing to a similar level, while market support for either Conniemak or La Belle Argentee on their handicap debut would be interesting.

Very unexposed after only two runs, LA BELLE ARGENTEE is selected to make the necessary progress on her handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

This can go the way of SMALL TOWN HERO, who has proved an inspired acquisition, winning all three hurdle starts since joining Ian Donoghue from Christian Williams. The Jet Away gelding scored impressively at Wexford last time and hopefully can translate his good form back to fences. Toor Moon remains a maiden after 28 outings but has given cause for optimism on his latest two starts, including when runner-up at the Listowel Festival last month and now tackles fences for the first time. A determined winner over shorter at Sligo recently, Stretchemout is another to consider as he goes back up in trip.

Very hard to get away from SMALL TOWN HERO back chasing off a 23lb lower mark than hurdles
Class & Speed Card

Having made a winning debut at Newcastle a fortnight ago, Wesam merits respect in his follow-up bid. However, a 7lb penalty does demand more of the four-year-old and COSMO GOODSPEED is slightly more appealing. Brian Meehan's charge has filled the runner-up berth on his last two outings and compensation may be in order. Returning duo Oursin and Jazzy Baby are both open to improvement and cannot be dismissed.

The vote goes to OURSIN who showed lots of promise with his debut second over C&D last winter and that form has worked out really well.
Class & Speed Card

AQUA BEAR has every chance of recording a first career win. A promising seventh on his debut at Gowran Park in August, the Ado McGuinness-trained colt improved to finish a close-up second at Naas later that month. Far from disgraced when mid-division in a stronger race at the Curragh subsequently, the son of Kodi Bear just about sets the standard. World Tour improved on previous efforts when runner-up at Listowel and, although not one of his stable's stars, the son of Territories should be able to win his maiden at some point. Willofthepeople is almost certainly better than he showed at the Curragh and first-time cheekpieces could prove beneficial.

SUSPICIOUS MINDZ(nap) was just behind subsequent Middle Park runner up Brussels on his second start and a repeat of that should suffice
Class & Speed Card

Brighlee appreciated quicker ground when finishing second at Salisbury in August and she appeals most of those with experience. However, Haddiah and SUNSHINE STAR are both intriguing newcomers and it could be worth taking a chance on the latter. The daughter of Sea The Stars is a half-sister to Oaks winner Soul Sister and could take all of the beating if ready to roll.

Brighlee sets a good standard but there are some striking newcomers in opposition including the Gosdens' SUNSHINE STAR.
Class & Speed Card

Unlucky in running when third over C&D, OICHE RUA can gain some measure of compensation. A dual winner over a mile on turf, the Ado McGuinness-trained filly was unfortunate not to add to that tally on her most recent start. Travelling strongly early in the straight, the daughter of Ghaiyyath had to wait for the gaps to open before flashing home to reach the frame. Granted a clearer passage on this occasion, the three-year-old looks the most likely winner. Wegotogether is open to improvement on just her second appearance in handicap company, while Tribal Moon would be dangerous if getting an easy lead under his capable apprentice.

A close fourth on handicap debut over this trip at Fairyhouse last time, WEGOTOGETHER can improve from that first run for 108 days.
Class & Speed Card

DAISY ROOTS appeared to relish a return to 1m when landing the spoils at Lingfield last month and she's fancied to follow up. Jack Dace's 5lb claim effectively puts the five-year-old on a 1lb lower mark and she edges the vote over C&D winner Kaaranah. John Butler's inmate hasn't been disgraced at Newmarket and Carlisle the last twice and the switch to Polytrack shouldn't be an issue. Berry Clever is the pick of the remainder.

This is the weakest AW race that KITARO KICH has contested for a while and he can exploit a favourable mark.
Class & Speed Card

This looks a good opportunity for ANDAB to register a second career victory. An impressive debut winner at the Curragh in May, the Joseph O'Brien-trained Saxon Warrior colt has acquitted himself well in much stronger company in subsequent starts. With upwards of 7lb in hand on official ratings, it would be disappointing were he not to take full advantage. York maiden winner Frescobaldi rates the biggest danger. Although only fifth in Listed company at Doncaster last time, the Aidan O'Brien-trained colt is almost certainly capable of better. His lightly-raced stablemate Controlled shouldn't be ruled out on just his third career start.

It will be disappointing if ANDAB can't take this as he hasn't been far behind some of Europe's top juveniles in recent starts
Class & Speed Card

Bohemian Breeze is a C&D winner who has occupied the runner-up berth on two of his last three outings, so commands respect. Bajan Blue makes just her second handicap appearance and isn't one to write off, but PRIDE OF DONEGAL looks the way to go. Charlie Johnston's colt has shown a fair amount of ability in his four starts in maiden/novice company and takes a step up in distance on his handicap debut. With the likelihood of more to come, he could defy an opening mark of 75.

Handicap debutant PRIDE OF DONEGAL (nap) moves up in trip after giving a useful rival a real fright in a 1m2f maiden. He gets the nod.
Class & Speed Card

A return to the Polytrack can see dual C&D scorer JA'MARR resume winning ways. Despite running well on more than one occasion on grass this summer, the David Marnane-trained colt failed to get his head in front. As a consequence, the son of Zoustar is now rated just 1lb higher than his last winning mark. Cheers Again, another who has shown his best form at this venue, is one to respect. Howyoulikethat and Final Voyage also merit consideration.

FINAL VOYAGE was ahead of some of these when just denied in the Red God Handicap here over 1m2.5f in August. A repeat can see him win.
Class & Speed Card

Kingmaker failed to justify favouritism when getting up for third over an extended 1m5f at Chelmsford last month and could have a say. However, the drop in distance is a slight concern and, with that in mind, the vote goes to ONE COOL DREAMER. Alan King's gelding finished a well-beaten third at Epsom in July, but is 1lb lower and has Rossa Ryan booked. Kingkeer completes the shortlist.

Several have possibilities but the suggestion is ONE COOL DREAMER, who goes well for Rossa Ryan and is suited by this C&D.
Class & Speed Card

Having landed a significant gamble when winning here recently, the Matthew Smith-trained SARMIENTO POWER can follow up. Placed twice off higher marks for previous connections, the son of Churchill was raised 9lb for that comfortable success. However, with leading apprentice Nicola Burns in the plate, the four-year-old should remain competitive. Third on her latest two outings at this track, Marians Gal should go well, while Skib Gold would be a strong contender if leaving a poor run at Tipperary behind him.

It might pay to side with the maiden JOHNNY'S OASIS. He ran on well over 1m here on latest so this trip should suit.
Class & Speed Card

ME TARZAN filled the runner-up spot over track and trip on his penultimate start and backed that performance up with a good second at Thirsk last time. The son of Bungle Inthejungle sports first-time blinkers and looks the one to side with. Vitalline hit the frame over 6f at this track last month and should remain competitive, while Waistcoat is another to keep an eye on.

Most of these have something to prove on one count or another but ME TARZAN is an exception and he can gain his third win of the year.
Class & Speed Card

A winner of his maiden over course and distance, the Jessica Harrington-trained SATURN looks well treated. With the third of his three subsequent victories on turf having come off a rating of 91 at Navan in April, the five-year-old returns to the Polytrack off 1lb lower here. A five-time winner on the all-weather in Britain, Penzance would have every chance if staying this trip. With no worries in that regard, Heather is a bigger danger back at this track.

STAR HARBOUR is 4lb lower than when 2.25l third over 10.5f here in Aug' and he's won twice at this trip on turf so he is tentative pick

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
