There were 42 Races on Friday 3rd October 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 6 races at Fontwell, 7 races at Gowran Park, 7 races at Hexham, 6 races at Ascot, 9 races at Southwell, 7 races at Dundalk, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

Just A Memory returned to winning ways in this grade over 2m5f at Newton Abbot last month and will have no issues with this extra yardage, so she has to be considered. However, UNBLINKING finished third over C&D on his most recent start and was dropped 1lb. Robert Bevis' veteran lurks on an appealing rating and looks the way to go. Of Corse I Can is another to note.

There's plenty of rain forecast and that alone entitles JUST A MEMORY (nap) to the vote as most of her rivals probably want good ground.
Class & Speed Card

Not the strongest looking contest and DSCHINGIS DRAGON can strike after a solid enough placed effort at Cork. The French import was a winner on the Flat in her native land and, having fallen at the first on her hurdling debut in June, she shaped with promise the following month when third to Billie Frechette. There looks scope for further improvement from her. Stay In The Game ran a nice race when fourth on his hurdling debut at Wexford in late August and could be a danger. Money for the Gavin Cromwell-trained newcomer Rackemandstackem would be noteworthy. He's a half-brother to a couple of hurdle winners.

Stay In The Game and DSCHINGIS DRAGON have the best form and narrow preference is for the latter who should relish softer ground
Class & Speed Card

Having opened his account in a bumper at Sedgefield last month, Frammy now goes hurdling and must be of interest. However, previous experience could be key and SPADESTEP shades preference with that in mind. Beaten a neck on both of his starts over timber in the spring, the son of Jukebox Jury can deservedly go one place better today. Getaway Frankie might fare best of the remainder.

This is a very good opportunity for SPADESTEP, who went down fighting when second to a useful rival at Perth in April.
Class & Speed Card

Simon Walker has long been a go-to jockey in these amateur contests and he has a big chance on board STENMARK, a winner at Southwell over this distance in August and second off 4lb higher at Epsom since. He does need a career best off his new mark, but still looks likely to have a big say. Racingbreaks Ryder drops two classes and is beginning to look well handicapped once more. He might prove a bigger danger than the hat-trick seeking Cancan In The Rain.

Consistent maiden DANNICK is taken to get off the mark. Stenmark ties in with the selection, while several others are interesting.
Class & Speed Card

Motazzen completed a hat-trick in this sphere at Southwell in January and has recorded a victory on the Flat since, so he is one to watch out for. Mad Maxios got off the mark at Chepstow in April and is interesting on his handicap bow, but JOREBEL gets the vote. Chris Gordon's charge struck over track and trip, despite his jockey not riding him out to the line, last month and he's worth sticking with for now.

The forecast is a bit of a worry when he's yet to prove himself on soft ground but JOREBEL is ahead of the game being 6lb well in.
Class & Speed Card

MA JACKS HILL may be able to make a winning start over hurdles. The five-year-old won a point-to-point at Dromahane back in April 2024, beating a smart horse in Sortudo, and made 310,000 euros in the sales ring subsequently. He was turned over at a short price on his 'track' debut, finishing third to stablemate William Butler, and was also runner-up in another bumper subsequently. Going over jumps now may bring improvement from him. Los Blanco was beaten at odds-on when last seen at Naas in April. He had been a promising third at the same venue previously and could be a danger. The 120-rated Letos is another who has to be on the shortlist.

Better was surely expected of expensive point purchase MA JACKS HILL during his bumper season, but perhaps hurdles can bring out more
Class & Speed Card

The switch to handicaps coincided with a much-improved performance from SLEMISH, who returned from a break to fill the runner-up spot at Fontwell in August. This doesn't look as competitive so despite a 5lb rise, compensation could await Laura Horsfall's charge. A mark of 91 looks workable for stable debutant Cap Ricochet, who is feared most ahead of Mini Mario.

Some are still unexposed but the most obvious answer is SLEMISH, who ran well in defeat on last month's handicap debut at Fontwell.
Class & Speed Card

Blazeon Five is the sole C&D winner in the line-up and she could go well after signs of a return to form when fourth here in July off 2lb higher. Dashing Panther returns after 10 months off following comfortable victories at Chelmsford to round off 2024. He is one to watch, but DOUBLE MEANING could be the one. Lightly raced, he has won his last two races by 10 lengths and five lengths and might have even more to offer.

Double Meaning is greatly feared and Novelista looks solid but GOOD SHOW could now be primed to run a big race over 2m.
Class & Speed Card

Point-to-point winner FRESH PERSPECTIVE went in on his Rules debut at Uttoxeter in a bumper prior to finding a Listed contest at Ascot too warm. Jamie Snowden's five-year-old now makes his first appearance over timber and he could be the one to beat. Whatyouwaitingfor shed his maiden tag at Newton Abbot in August and it's hard to ignore his claims. Park Talk warrants a market check.

This may go the way of JIMMY HURDSTROM who posted respectable RPRs (in this context) when second in his last two bumpers.
Class & Speed Card

The forecast rain may not suit a lot of these and MALBAS gets the vote. The Ned Buckley-trained gelding chased home Pampar Lady on his last outing at Kilbeggan in August and that form has been boosted since with the winner going on to follow up at Listowel. Malbas has won on soft ground in the past so an ease isn't a big concern. Leave In Secret was an impressive winner in Galway last month, but reportedly wants good ground so that would be a concern. Farrokh has been knocking on the door and has to come into calculations.

Softer conditions pose a question for most. A chance is taken on PARKGARVE who put in his best effort on his most recent hurdles start
Class & Speed Card

Pure Gold won with something in hand at Perth recently and she warrants respect in her follow-up bid. However, she must now shoulder a 7lb penalty in a stronger race so it might pay to side with T OR COFFEY instead. Jennie Candlish's charge landed a maiden hurdle on his stable bow at Stratford in July and with further progress a real possibility in this sphere, a mark of 107 could prove lenient. The hat-trick seeking Double Digits and Winds Of Winter add further spice to the mix.

Topweight WINDS OF WINTER has made remarkable progress for her new stable this season and is taken to record a second C&D success.
Class & Speed Card

Godolphin hold a strong hand with three of the runners, presumably headed by RACE TO THE STARS, a once-raced son of Sea The Stars who won at Southwell last month and is the mount of William Buick. He is fancied to take a step forward to get the better of stablemate Aegean Prince, who has been gelded since his Kempton victory last December. Military Cross was only beaten a head on debut and gets 6lb from his chief rivals as a maiden.

The answer might be MILITARY CROSS who is a strong stayer on pedigree and was finishing his race off well at Kempton.
Class & Speed Card

Penalised for her emphatic maiden win at Newton Abbot, MANYANA BLUE was no match for the progressive Lord, who has subsequently landed a hat-trick, when runner-up at the same track last time. However, the daughter of Postponed looks worthy of another chance with the talented conditional Luke Scott taking a valuable 3lb off her back. Spuddling finished a promising third here on his hurdling debut and can confirm superiority with the fourth-placed Bouboule.

Marginal preference is for MANYANA BLUE who chased home a good juvenile at Newton Abbot.
Class & Speed Card

There should be plenty of pace on, with the three main protagonists all liking to lead. ADELA ICON may prove the pick dropping back in trip. The Snow Sky mare tried to force things from the front at Listowel, but dropped away tamely at the business end over 2m4f. She was a good winner at Bellewstown over 2m1f prior to that and handles softer ground. Royal Hollow ran poorly when tried in a visor at Listowel, but the headgear is taken off and she looks the danger on the pick of her form. The Great Nudie makes her seasonal debut and is a capable sort. She's also respected.

If ADELA ICON is at her best then she should take this. She stopped quickly last time but was an impressive winner before that
Class & Speed Card

DIVILABOTHER made a successful start to life with Tristan Davidson when on target over C&D in August, before finishing a creditable second in a warm class 2 at Kelso the following month. The seven-year-old is only 1lb higher and with further progress likely at this level, he is expected to go close. Four of Les's Legacy's five career wins have come at this venue, the latest of those in June, and he merits respect. Others to note include Dee's Getaway and Teofimo.

This looks good for DIVILABOTHER (nap), who was a convincing C&D winner on his stable debut and returns here after a creditable second.
Class & Speed Card

Simiyann has the stamina needed to win this having come home in front three times over two miles or more, with one of those off his current rating, but he may have to give way to KINGDOM OF STARS on this occasion. A Kempton winner in July, he was last seen finishing third at the same track and drops to this class for the first time since May. New York Minute is the pick of the remainder.

Ralph Beckett's 3yo NEW YORK MINUTE was strong at the finish when scoring at Chelmsford and is open to more progress back up in trip.
Class & Speed Card

PUSH THE LIMIT was a good second in a heritage handicap over 1m4f here and stepping up in trip could draw further improvement from this low-mileage colt. Similar comments apply to Arabian Force, whose close-up third in the Great Voltigeur at York is a solid yardstick that puts him firmly in the picture. Many Men had Fantasy World three places behind when he filled the runner-up berth in the Melrose at the same venue and he also rates a key player.

They try this trip for the first time but calculations are nevertheless dominated by ARABIAN FORCE (nap) and Push The Limit.
Class & Speed Card

Beaten over hurdles last time, HECOULDBETHEONE had shown progressive form over fences prior to that. James Owen's charge landed a brace at Uttoxeter in June and, only 2lb higher than his most recent success, he's taken to pick up the winning thread back over the larger obstacles. A dual winner over timber, Reallyntruthfully could prove competitive on his chasing bow, while Southoftheborder is worth a second look.

The interesting horse is SOUTHOFTHEBORDER who flattered to deceive for Nicky Henderson but showed considerable potential.
Class & Speed Card

It was a non-event for KOOL ONE at Listowel with his saddle slipping early. The Kool Kompany gelding had been in fine form previously, winning on the Flat at Roscommon and over timber in Wexford. He's a smart horse and looks capable of landing a race of this standard off his current figure of 118. Arctic Flame won her maiden hurdle at Down Royal in good style and looks on a fair mark for her handicap debut. She could be the danger. Ballycashin ran a big race at Listowel, losing out narrowly in a three-way finish. She also has to be on the shortlist.

In good form this summer, KOOL ONE (nap) was pulled-up in the Lartigue after the saddle slipped at the start and can make amends
Class & Speed Card

Jennie Candlish won this event last year so her handicap debutant Justlikefire is worth a second look, as is Robert d'Ores, while there were signs of a revival from Lelantos at Newton Abbot. Preference, though, is for MAN OF ACTION, who won over the track and trip earlier in the year and may have appreciated a break since his last start in July.

Getaway With You has become very expensive to follow and is opposed with JUSTLIKEFIRE, who moves up in trip for his handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

Grimese's Special kept on to spring a 66/1 shock over 7f on her second start, but she needs to prove that wasn't a fluke. Blooming Legend won over this trip at Lingfield before a third on heavy at Salisbury and could go well, but PREVIOUS deserves another chance. Successful at Newcastle on debut, she was then put in her place by Allegresse at Kempton but time may tell that performance was better than it appeared at first glance.

This looks tricky but Newcastle winner PREVIOUS ran into a smart prospect at Kempton last time and she gets the vote on nursery debut.
Class & Speed Card

ARAMRAM has been generally consistent all season and that reliability earns him the vote. His seventh-placed finish in the Ayr Gold Cup can be upgraded given he lost a shoe as that race unfolded and conditions could be much more to his liking here. Trefor and the hat-trick seeking Brosay also boasts solid credentials, while Zoulu Chief has held his form well since being gelded and is another to monitor closely in the betting now he drops back in trip.

An excellent handicap in which preference is for BROSAY who has won his only two 6f starts since blinkered, including over C&D.
Class & Speed Card

BELLES BENEFIT found the 3m2f trip at Warwick beyond her last time, having returned the impressive winner over 2m6f at Stratford before that. Ben Case's charge has solid claims on that form and a bold bid looks assured. Ivane reverts to hurdling with a shout having landed a chase at Sedgefield last month, while Summer In Milan is another to note reverting to the smaller obstacles.

The 7yo IVANE was a strong favourite to defy this mark over fences here 11 days ago only to crash out of the race early.
Class & Speed Card

Killarney maiden hurdle winner ROCKONLIAM can follow up on his handicap debut. Sent off favourite on that occasion, the Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding led at the last, before keeping on strongly to open his account. With both the third and fourth-placed horses going on to score subsequently, the form has quite a strong look to it. Darcy's Friend, who landed a gamble on stable debut for Emmet Mullins, failed to back that run up at Tipperary last time. However, he's noted along with recent Roscommon second Live To Laugh.

Given how well his Killarney win has worked out, ROCKONLIAM could be thrown in off an opening mark of 103
Class & Speed Card

Having been headed on the run-in over C&D last time out, ROYAL DEESIDE showed plenty of determination to get back up and score. A 3lb rise for Patrick Morris' gelding looks fair considering the runner-up has won since and a third track victory could be on the cards. Victory Club bounced back to form with a good second at Sedgefield last month and he should not be taken lightly from an unchanged mark. Others to note include Follow Your Arrow and Stylish Recruit.

Dual chase winner INGENNIO shaped well over hurdles on the second of his two stable starts and now reverts to fences on a good mark.
Class & Speed Card

Valkyrie Storm pulled too hard for her own good before finishing third at Chepstow and is a player if she learns to settle, but preference is for ATTENTION SEEKER. A hood was added after the Harry Eustace-trained juvenile's Kempton debut and it resulted in a much-improved second at Brighton, where he still looked as if he would learn more from the experience. Newcomer Turku is one to watch, with Thirsk third Magical Merlot another to consider.

The usefully bred ATTENTION SEEKER was runner-up at Brighton last month on his second start and can go one better today.
Class & Speed Card

GRIZEDALE has shown stacks of promise in his three previous runs and is an appealing contender for a race of this nature. A winner over a mile at Kempton, the son of Zoustar was then narrowly denied under a penalty in a novice event over 7f at the same course. Back up in trip, he can make a big impact here. Wujjood and Crack On Boys have solid claims based on their official ratings, while the dependable Gloriously Sassy also commands respect.

The drop back to 1m could be ideal for the lightly raced filly WUJJOOD and she gets the nod ahead of Crack On Boys.
Class & Speed Card

Having followed up a breakthrough victory at Tipperary with a respectable fifth in a 21-runner sprint at Naas, Ballysax Lil' Mick merits respect in his current vein of form. However, RIFT VALLEY was a couple of positions in front of him at Naas and then found herself with too much to do when fifth at Lingfield. Sean Davis' filly edges the vote, with last year's winner Hero Of The Hour the pick of the remainder.

The filly RIFT VALLEY has made a good start for her new yard and a breakthough win seems very imminent.
Class & Speed Card

With Patrick Mullins in the saddle, Downpatrick winner LIADAWN catches the eye. Sent off a strong favourite on her racecourse debut, the daughter of Jukebox Jury was always prominent before stretching clear of her rivals from over a furlong out. Apart from the fact that the five-year-old was visually impressive, the form of that race has been well franked in the interim. Both the second and third, who proved no match for the selection that day, have won subsequently. A stablemate of the selection, Closutton also won her bumper first time out and is noted along with Galway winner Maximillian Lady.

Willie Mullins' LIADAWN won decisively on soft ground on debut and is preferred by Patrick Mullins so she looks the safest bet
Class & Speed Card

KILLYBEGS JET LADY offered plenty of encouragement when finishing second to the reopposing Upfordebate over C&D on her chasing debut last time out. The latter went on to score cosily at Perth next time and is clearly on an upward curve, but the same might be said of the selection who can reverse that earlier form on these revised terms. McGregors Charge and Ballydangan can't be overlooked either.

Top of the list is UPFORDEBATE who made it 2-3 over fences when scoring at Perth last week. Killybegs Jet Lady is feared most.
Class & Speed Card

More was expected of Mr Nippy when only managing eighth at Chelmsford and there will be plenty who give him another chance on just his third start. However, WINDING STREAM is a half-brother to Spycraft, who struck on the all-weather as a juvenile. If the market vibes are strong, Richard Hughes' newcomer might prove hard to beat. Bear Steps would have learned a lot from her seventh at Lingfield and completes the shortlist.

The vote goes to WINDING STREAM, who cost 40,000gns last autumn and is a half-brother to a 7f 2yo debut winner.
Class & Speed Card

VALIANT FORCE won three times over a variety of trips here last winter and has carried big weights when runner-up on his latest two starts at this venue. The son of Malibu Moon meets Eclairage on 20lb better terms for a two-length beating over C&D in July. Black Forza won the Group 2 Richmond Stakes at Goodwood last year, but needs to bounce back after struggling on his belated seasonal debut at the Curragh. Songhai had American import Fandom a length and a half behind when fourth to Grande Marques at Tipperary, but Joseph O'Brien's charge may reverse the form with that run under his belt.

Last year's winner Valiant Force is solid as a rock but a chance is taken on FANDOM on his second run back from a year out.
Class & Speed Card

ZABEEL ALKABEIR created a good impression when making a winning debut at Lingfield before being well beaten in the Group 2 Park Stakes at Doncaster. James Tate's colt takes a sizeable drop in grade and looks the one to beat. Shamacid finished a place in front of Proud To Be Fox when third over 6f at Wolverhampton and can confirm that form to have a say. El Pinto is the pick of the remainder.

Proud To Be Fox is capable of better but ZABEEL ALKABEIR can leave Doncaster behind him and confirm his debut promise.
Class & Speed Card

IPANEMA QUEEN has gained both wins at the Curragh, including when showing good speed throughout over this trip to land a Listed race in August, with Namiid over four lengths behind in third and Jack The Bachelor and Rosie Frith in rear. She may have been unsuited by soft ground at Ayr last time. Controlled took a big step forward from his debut when fitted with blinkers to win a Naas maiden, beating Aegina by three lengths, and has plenty of scope for improvement. Sirius A went close in the Group 3 Sirenia Stakes over 6f at Kempton and now tries this trip for the first time. Howd'yadoit is another to consider.

Armed with a good draw, plenty of experience and as good a form as any, IPANEMA QUEEN can bounce back after her Ayr defeat.
Class & Speed Card

SPECIAL GHAIYYATH and Bernalda are both seeking hat-tricks, but preference is afforded to the former after his triumph at Haydock last month. The son of Ghaiyyath was making his handicap/stable debut that day and despite a 3lb rise it would come as no great surprise were he to find further progress. Stablemate Bin Ajwad was raised 6lb having won over C&D last month but remains of considerable interest.

This is a step up in class for BERNALDA but she is 9lb ahead of the handicapper and can complete her hat-trick.
Class & Speed Card

PRINCESS SIOUX showed promise when fifth behind Caught U Sleeping over this trip at Naas and appeared to find a mile too far subsequently at Punchestown. The daughter of Sioux Nation now tackles handicap company for the first time off a mark of 72 and the booking of Nicola Burns adds to confidence. Sovereign Thought appreciated the step up to 7f when taking a Down Royal nursery in decisive fashion and rates an obvious threat. The Donnacha O'Brien-trained gelding had Darwin's Angel (now 7lb better off) about two lengths behind in fourth, while A La Dure and Femme Beauty are others to consider.

Sovereign Thought will be popular but FEMME BEAUTY could be a player if it was slow ground that resulted in a backward step at Naas
Class & Speed Card

ANCIENT TIMES has won a couple of sprints on the turf already this year and he ran with credit to finish third over the minimum trip here latest . That was his first start since June, so the son of Exceed And Excel is expected to go close from an unchanged mark. True Promise is 4lb lower than when winning over C&D last October and cannot be ruled out, while Dark Side Thunder could also be involved.

Ancient Times is enjoying a good season but the class-dropping TRUE PROMISE (nap) is preferred.
Class & Speed Card

ANDAB scored impressively on debut at the Curragh back in May and has held his form well since, including when fourth behind Gstaad in the Coventry Stakes. The Joseph O'Brien-trained colt filled the runner-up spot last time in a Group 3 over this trip at Deauville. Riding arrangements suggest Straight Up, who made a winning debut at the Listowel Festival, is preferred of Aidan O'Brien's pair and he could have plenty of scope for improvement. Stablemate Moments Of Joy was placed in the Chesham at Royal Ascot and runner-up in a Group 3 over a mile at the Curragh last time.

The experience gained by ANDAB (nap) in Pattern races in Britain and France may prove decisive against the Ballydoyle-trained pair.
Class & Speed Card

DESERT MASTER has posted a couple of positive efforts at Newcastle of late and that augurs well for his chances. The son of Blue Point struck from a 7lb higher mark over C&D at the start of the year and it could be his turn again. Marcus has yet to win but recent placed efforts on the turf suggest he can make his presence felt, while Red Walls and Arlington ought to have a fighting chance too.

Arlington should make a bold bid but PIPERSTOWN lurks on a dangerous mark and he can strike now returned to 5f.
Class & Speed Card

Runner-up on her only previous start at this track, SENTI QUA can go one better. A lightly-raced daughter of Sumbal, the Ken Condon-trained filly is unexposed on an artificial surface and might be capable of better. Ocean Manifest improved on his initial run for Stephen Thorne when just touched off last time. While the form of that race is nothing special, he does at least appear to be going the right way. Starspangled Dream is also noted.

It could pay to take a chance with the relatively unexposed WOOLRIDGE, whose Cork fifth makes solid reading
Class & Speed Card

NIGHT TARA has remained in excellent form since winning on her handicap bow at Chelmsford in August. The extended 2m trip stretched her stamina here latest, but this shorter distance shouldn't be an issue, and Sir Mark Prescott's filly should mount a bold bid from an unchanged mark. The consistent Spring Chorus is likely be thereabouts once again, and although Mission Possible disappointed on her handicap bow it is too soon to write her off.

This can go to NIGHT TARA, who has a record of 12212 in handicaps and is open to more progress on this drop back in trip.
Class & Speed Card

If her wide draw doesn't prove an inconvenience, AVIATRICE can register a second course win. Off the mark in her maiden here last November, the David Marnane-trained filly has been ultra consistent in recent starts. A progressive filly when last seen, the Donnacha O'Brien-trained Whispersinthewind has to be respected. Victorious in her last two outings, the Churchill filly could have more to offer. Fairyhouse maiden winner Shakazia also holds claims.

The safest choice may be AVIATRICE, a 6f course winner who took the runner-up spot over 1m at Leopardstown last time
Ths is the racecard key.
