13:55 Navan Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ANNIE EDSON TAYLOR showed enough on her initial outing over course and distance last month to suggest she can go two places better. The Mayson filly was slowly away and held up in rear during the early stages, before making significant late ground once the penny dropped. Well drawn on her second racecourse appearance, the Kevin Coleman-trained juvenile looks the one to be with. Bruce Lightning hasn't progressed from a very pleasing introduction at Cork back in May but perhaps dropping down in trip will play to his strengths. A rating of 78 should be good enough to at least see him fight out the finish. Southbank, a debutant representing leading connections is the potential unknown quantity in the race. It will be interesting to see if any market support arrives for the Acclamation colt.

ANNIE EDSON TAYLOR clearly possesses her share of ability given she finished third on debut over C&D despite fluffing her lines at the start and on that evidence, she's capable of winning a maiden such as this. Newcomers are feared most, notably Southbank and Tiffany Mae.

ANNIE EDSON TAYLOR shaped like the best horse in the maiden she finished third in over C&D a month ago and can score.

LTO Selection:

14:05 Bangor Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Creative Control was possibly a fortuitous winner when being left in the lead two fences from home at Uttoxeter last month, but Donald McCain's gelding still merits respect now only 1lb higher. IMAC WOOD, however, makes slightly more appeal after finding some improvement when triumphing over 2m4f at Worcester in August. A 4lb rise looks more than fair and the five-year-old is fancied to enhance his fine strike-rate over fences (3-5). Sinister Minister may chase them home.

CREATIVE CONTROL was a fortunate winner at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago but the assessor has raised him just 1 lb as a result, so the follow-up may well be on the cards. Imac Wood also tasted success last time and is a danger, while Heritier is dangerous if fully tuned up for this return to action.

The 4lb rise for his Worcester win might well not stop IMAC WOOD (nap).

LTO Selection:

14:12 Nottingham Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Our Golden One had the measure of Frankelian when the pair met on their debuts. The former was able to confirm those placings at Sandown last time and she can do so once again, but preference is for ELEFTHERIA. The Mehmas filly should appreciate this step up in trip having kept on for fourth over 7f at Goodwood in August, and she looks versatile regarding the ground. The Gosden's juveniles have been coming to the boil in recent weeks, so Beeley is worth a market check.

ROLICA boasts a striking pedigree and has a sales price to match, so a winning debut would come as no surprise. Beeley is another very likely sort on paper, while Our Golden One and Frankelian are closely matched on their Sandown clash.

Frankelian has been beaten twice by OUR GOLDEN ONE and may be again today but the issue is not clearcut.

LTO Selection:

14:20 Catterick Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

NOBLE CAPTAIN has been running to a consistent level on the all-weather in recent starts. Katie Scott's unexposed three-year-old is fitted with first-time cheekpieces today and, should they bring about any further improvement, he might be the answer now back on the grass. Rajmeister is only 2lb higher than for May's Redcar success and must enter calculations, along with Woobay, who hit the woodwork at Hamilton nine days ago.

WOOBAY has been threatening to come good for a while and a repeat of her runner-up effort at Hamilton last week may enable her to go one place better. Lola's Moment shaped quite well on the AW last time and is a threat, with Noble Captain another to consider trying 5f for the first time.

The vote goes to WOOBAY who was arguably a shade unlucky at Hamilton last time, so could make amends.

LTO Selection:

14:25 Navan Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

WEST OF WICHITA is worth another chance despite running well below par on handicap debut at the Curragh last time. Sent off favourite on that occasion, the Kevin Coleman-trained filly weakened inside the final furlong having hung left throughout. Back on a track where she ran one of her better races, when runner-up to a subsequent winner in a maiden, she can get off the mark. Calum Hogan has enough experience at this stage to be value taking off 10lb. Sanshiro, who finished a place ahead of the Coleman filly at the Curragh, could be capable of better in first-time cheekpieces. The Dandy Man gelding has shaped with a degree of promise in his maidens. Uncle Albert should be suited to dropping back to sprinting having only weakened late on over 7f at the Curragh on his most recent start.

Plenty in with a squeak but preference is for WEST OF WICHITA, who found things tougher when pestered for the lead at the Curragh last time, but Kevin Coleman's filly can leave that effort behind and open her account. Uncle Albert has been narrowly beaten on both starts in nurseries, so he's put forward as the main danger, with Barley Cove and Amerigo Vespucci another couple fancied to go well.

Though WEST OF WICHITA was well below form on last start, that was her seventh run and she could bounce back to form.

Uncle Arthur failed to land a blow in handicap company when under the tutelage of Nigel Twiston-Davies, but the five-year-old is worth a second look in the market on his stable debut for Fergal O'Brien. HEROS DE MOUTIERS rates as a more solid proposition after finishing runner-up off his current mark at Hexham last month. The in-form Pittsburg and Gambie Tiep are others likely to go well.

GAMBIE TIEP is already a three-time winner this season and was still going well in front when coming down four out at Plumpton last time so is fancied to bag another victory off an unchanged mark here. Heros de Moutiers rates the chief threat on the back of his good Hexham second, with Pittsburg and Uncle Arthur two more who need considering.

Dual chase winner PITTSBURG may still have more to come in this discipline and arguably has fewer doubts to satisfy.

Ralph Beckett landed this prize with a debutant 12 months ago and he could do so once more with PONITOS. The son of Golden Horn ought to appreciate this initial test of stamina and, with a far from daunting standard set by those with experience, he might not need to be anything special to make a winning start. William Haggas' Victoria Legend could play a leading role, along with Risk On, who shaped with promise on his first start.

The market should reveal plenty here but SALAMANCA makes lots of appeal on paper and fetched 335,000 gns as a yearling so is taken to make a winning start for Jane Chapple-Hyam. Fellow newcomers Victoria Legend (second choice) and Poniros are both in very good hands and warrant plenty of respect too.

Risk On does not set a high standard, so newcomers SALAMANCA (a Grpup 1 entry), Poniros and Victoria Legend top the list.

LOUELLA was no match for a progressive rival over 7f at Thirsk in August. Her pedigree would suggest she ought to have no problem with a drop in trip and, from just 3lb higher, the Invincible Army filly could open her account. Recent Chelmsford scorer Scoops Ahoy can mount another serious challenge, while market support for handicap debutant Jungle Jean should be noted.

A tight-knit nursery but John Quinn's filly LOTTING'S LASS looks the way to go under a 6 lb penalty for her convincing breakthrough success at Southwell only six days ago. Scoops Ahoy is feared most on the back of his Chelmsford victory, ahead of handicap debutant Blufferonthebus.

Kevin Ryan's gelding CRACK THE KODE won here on good to soft before finding it too testing at Thirsk. He is taken to get back on track.

The John McConnell-trained STANHOPE could represent some value back at a track where he has excelled in the past. Now a nine-year-old, the gelding has won three times at this venue and finished runner-up on his most recent visit here in June. Testing ground should prove no hindrance to the Equiano colt who also has a potentially favourable high draw. Merisi Diamond has little to recommend him in terms of form but it interesting that the locally trained gelding has remained in training late into his four-year-old career, with connections securing the services of in-form apprentice Conor Stone-Walsh. Art Of Unity has been running consistently well of late so has to enter calculations on the back of another solid effort when runner-up at Bellewstown last week.

DISTILLATE proved better than ever when scoring at Bellewstown last week and is taken to follow up. Mogwli and Step Back In Time head the list of dangers.

A maximum field but it is probably best to keep things simple and stick with DISTILLATE(nap) to follow up her career-best win last week

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

JUSTSHORTOFABUBBLE has posted a string of creditable efforts in defeat since his first success at Stratford in August and looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to regain the winning thread. The dropped-in-class Easkey Lad is feared most, with first-time blinkers looking a positive move. William Ewart has been given a break since his eighth-placed effort on chase debut at Uttoxeter in May and it's too early to be writing him off.

JUSTSHORTOFABUBBLE arrives at the top of his game and is fancied to resume winning ways at the possible expense of Easkey Lad, who has blinkers on for the first time. William Ewart has potential despite an underwhelming start in this sphere.

In the hope that blinkers give him a boost, EASKEY LAD is given the vote.

15:12 Nottingham Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CONCIERGE was able to exploit a sliding handicap mark when successful at Bath in August. A 4lb higher mark wasn't enough to stop him from romping home at Brighton last time, and he is expected to complete his hat-trick despite a further 6lb rise. Ange De L'Amour shaped with promise on her return from a 340-day absence at Bath and she could step forward. Selby's Pride and Evasive Power are just two others to consider.

Lots with chances. CONCIERGE rates just the pick at these weights on the back of his impressive Brighton victory so edges the vote at the chief expense of Evasive Power, who also comes here fresh from a ready success at the same track. A solid case can also be made for Ray Vonn, Dors Toyboy and Primrose Maid in a competitive handicap.

Plenty have possibilities but the resurgent hat-trick seeker CONCIERGE gets the vote ahead of recent Brighton winner Evasive Power.

15:20 Catterick Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Ribble Radiant struck on her debut at Beverley in June and, though respected, she has an absence to overcome and will need more under the penalty. With that in mind, the vote goes to LAST APPLAUSE. The daughter of Acclamation hit the frame over 6f at Newcastle first time out, but she can be more potent over this longer trip. Kevin Ryan often does well in these types of contests and his charge, One More Bottle, must enter calculations on his racecourse bow.

RIBBLE RADIANT finished to good effect when making a successful debut at Beverley 115 days ago and the form has proved solid, so she's worth a chance to maintain her unbeaten record for all that the absence is a slight concern. Last Applause looks a big threat after a promising start and newcomer One More Bottle is one to note on pedigree.

The returning Beverley scorer RIBBLE RADIANT could prove capable of defying the penalty. Last Applause is next best.

LTO Selection:

15:25 Navan Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

HEAVENLY POWER is a speculative suggestion in a tight knit handicap where any number of contenders are capable of winning if at their best. The Eddie Lynam-trained gelding was slightly unlucky in running when fifth in the Scurry Handicap earlier in the season, form that stands out in the context of this race. Just denied back at the Curragh on his next outing, the five-year-old has been slightly disappointing on his two most recent starts. If back to his best, he has a class edge here. Real Force finished mid-division in a premier handicap last time, having won at Cork on his previous start. The six-year-old should make a bold bid under Conor Stone-Walsh. Wave Machine returned to form when successful at Down Royal last month. The visor she wore on that occasion is replaced by blinkers here.

The step up to 7f was a plausible excuse for HEAVENLY POWER at the Curragh 11 days ago and quickly back sprinting, he could be the way to go. Last-time-out winners Mickey The Steel and Collective Power (a stablemate of the selection) are feared most.

Last week's Bellewstown winner MICKEY THE STEEL will have suitable ground conditions again and may cope with a 7lb rise.

15:35 Bangor Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Former point-to-point winner DRUMLEE SPUD, a half-sister to the useful Monbeg Stream, was the subject of strong support on her debut in a Worcester bumper last month. A clear second that day, it was a respectable effort and she is fancied to be a different proposition with hurdles to negotiate. Eve Moneypenny tasted success over timber for her previous stable in Ireland and is noted on debut for Donald McCain. Omaha Wish is also considered.

Tough to rule out any of the sextet but preference is for EVE MONEYPENNY, who has failed to kick on since making a successful start to life under Rules at Punchestown in June but can put her hurdling experience to good use on first outing for Donald McCain. Drumlee Spud finished runner-up in a Worcester bumper last month and she's expected to be in the mix now hurdling, with Omaha Wish rounding off the shortlist.

Irish point winner DRUMLEE SPUD is taken to leave her odds-on bumper defeat behind in a race in which the market should tell a story.

15:42 Nottingham Handicap (Class 3) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

SPOOF finished a close-up second in a competitive class 2 event at Haydock on Saturday and must hold every chance if producing a similar level of performance. Similar sentiments apply to Fantasy Master, but the five-year-old would make slightly more appeal over 6f. The Sepoy gelding still rates as a live threat, with Desert Games and Hiya Maite making most appeal of the remainder.

FANTASY MASTER tends to save his best for this track and, following a good second over 6f here, he's worth a chance to go one better. Spoof and Desert Games are also of plenty of interest.

Elegant Erin and SPOOF are dropping in class and may fight out the finish. Fantasy Master is also greatly respected.

LTO Selection:

15:50 Catterick Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ICE MAX shed his maiden tag over C&D on his penultimate start before being well held in the Flying Scotsman at Doncaster last month, but this is a much easier assignment and he can defy an opening mark of 80. Noo Point filled the runner-up spot in a novice event at Epsom last time and has to be considered on his nursery bow, while Empire Of Light could improve for the application of a visor for the first time.

Karl Burke is having an outstanding season with his juveniles and ICE MAX is fancied to get back to winning ways on handicap debut having been found out in listed company at Doncaster last month. Bellarchi is another taking a drop in grade so she could well emerge as the main danger, ahead of Charged Up.

The suggestion is ICE MAX (nap), who returns to the scene of his win and drops back to realistic company. He could have more to come.

LTO Selection:

15:55 Navan Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A difficult contest to assess, with very little form to go on. Aidan O'Brien introduces two expensive yearling purchases, with Euphoric bought for 1.9 million guineas, while South Pole was knocked down for 650,000 guineas. Whatever happens here, they will both come on plenty for this initial experience. Ger Lyons is also double-handed, with Colin Keane opting to partner ROCKING TREE. The Teme Valley-owned bay improved from his debut effort at the Curragh to finish fourth at Punchestown on his most recent start and he can put his experience to good use now. Gavin Cromwell has done well with his juveniles this season and the County Meath handler is represented by Moutarde, who is an interesting contender on debut. Benvoy and Volto Di Medusa were fifth and sixth in their respective barrier trials at Dundalk last month, with the latter since down the field on his racecourse debut at Down Royal.

EUPHORIC cost a fortune as a yearling and is the choice of Seamie Heffernan, so he's taken to make a winning start at the expense of stablemate South Pole without the benefit of market clues. Best Law also makes plenty of appeal on paper.

Not much to go on here so the 1.9m guineas purchase price boasted by EUPHORIC is the most significant factor

LTO Selection:

16:05 Bangor Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A comfortable winner of a maiden hurdle at Worcester on his penultimate start, OLIVERS TRAVELS has already shown a lot of promise in this sphere and is an appealing option starting out in handicaps off a workable mark. Recent Downpatrick winner Morricone commands respect in receipt of 8lb from the selection. Halifax, a C&D winner off 3lb lower last month, is also respected, while Dee Star is another notable contender.

Dual bumper winner OLIVERS TRAVELS ran well despite seeming unsuited by the drop in trip at Uttoxeter last time and Peter Bowen's gelding looks just the type to do better handicapping over this kind of trip. Irish raider Morricone is most progressive and appeals as particularly interesting taking a marked step up in trip, whilst Classic Concorde is also respected in search of the hat-trick.

A competitive race can go to KING'S THRESHOLD on his return from a break.

16:12 Nottingham Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

ALI JEWELS reaped the rewards under a more aggressive ride when recently making all at Yarmouth. William Jarvis' filly should take all of the beating if adopting similar tactics off only 4lb higher. Last-time-out winner Tilsworth Ony Ta cannot be discounted in his current mood, while Areille's mark continues to fall and the four-year-old has performed well enough in recent appearances to suggest that she can go well.

On just her second start over 5f, SMOOCH produced a career best when fourth in a deeper handicap than this at Pontefract last week and having been eased 3 lb since, she looks ready to open her account. Ali Jewels and Tilsworth Ony Ta are a couple of potential threats.

Smooch looks a solid contender after last week's good fourth but RHUBARB could bounce back to her best under today's conditions.

16:20 Catterick Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

YASMIN FROM YORK had Tarbat Ness (fourth) over a length behind when third over 2m1f at Pontefract last month and the seven-year-old has been left on the same rating. She has proven to be more than capable at this level and could be the one to beat today. The is in solid form at present and he should go well once again, while Milltown Lily makes the most appeal of the remainder after her second at Carlisle and she goes off the same mark.

YASMIN FROM YORK scored twice over C&D last year and having dropped to her last winning mark, she gets the vote to regain the winning thread with the booking of Hollie Doyle catching the eye. The main danger could emerge from Easter Icon, who needs to leave a rare below-par effort behind at Ffos Las last month, with Toscan Genius and A Day To Dream rounding off the shortlist.

A chance is taken that easy ground won't prove a barrier to success to the Catterick specialist YASMIN FROM YORK.

16:25 Navan Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A case can be made for all 13 runners in this fiercely competitive affair. Bidding for a fourth win in a row and her fifth of the season, FRATAS gets the nod. The admirable chestnut battled gamely to beat Royal Eagle at Tramore on her latest start, with that rival successful over flights at Tipperary on Sunday. The selection will be ridden by the talented Wesley Joyce, who claims a valuable 7lb. Drop The Dip and Dumb Love were both successful at Bellewstown last week, with the hat-trick seeking former given second preference. He beat Perfect Poise by a neck at the County Meath venue and that reopposing Kodiac bay is likely to have plenty of supporters as she bids to reverse the form. Timeless Soul is the highest rated runner in the line-up and it'll be interesting to see how she fares, turned out again quickly after finishing an eye-catching third on Sunday. With four wins between them this season, Plume Noire and You Owe Me Money are other leading hopes.

PERFECT POISE arrives on the up yet can race off the same mark as when a very good Bellewstown second last time so gets the vote. Signora Bellissima heads the list of dangers on the back of her C&D success from the selection, with in-form duo Dance Night Andday and You Owe Me Money also in the mix in a competitive handicap.

An eyecatcher on return from a break at Punchestown last time, YOU OWE ME MONEY could get back on the scoresheet again.

LTO Selection:

16:30 Kempton Maiden (Class 5) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Ayyab sets the standard based on her third in handicap company off a mark of 75, but that level is not too high and preference is for LOVE STORY. The daughter of Frankel is a half-sister to US Grade 1 winner Max Player, as well as Group 2 scorer Seahenge. The fact that she makes her debut this late into her three-year-old year suggests that connections believe that she can pick up a race and this looks like an ideal opportunity. Elladonna edges out Another Beautiful and Quietness to be the pick of the remainder.

Leading connections have had to be patient with LOVE STORY but she's bred to be very good so she may well be talented enough to get the job done on debut. Ayyab sets a pretty good standard and is the obvious alternative, with Elladonna a likely improver.

Ayyab is unexposed over middle distances and can go well but ELLADONNA is taken to confirm the promise of her Salisbury debut.

16:35 Bangor Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It is hard to ignore the potential held by WORDSWORTH, who reached a mark of 111 on the Flat during his time with Aidan O'Brien. Having impressed with a close second in a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe on his sole start for Josh Halley, he looks a prime candidate to improve. Now under David Pipe's tutelage, this could be the start of an intriguing campaign for the five-year-old. Easter Junction, Black Occ and Book Of Verse head the list of dangers.

WORDSWORTH would be hard to oppose on the form of his hurdling debut second even without acknowledging the quality he showed on the Flat, so is a strong fancy to get the better of hurdles debutant Easter Junction and Black Occ, who made an encouraging start at Worcester last month.

It will be disappointing if WORDSWORTH cannot land this.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

GREEK GIANT appeared to be improving rapidly on the turf before having a short stint on the all-weather last month, and he may return to winning ways now upped to 2m. Club Manager arrives in good heart and is another potential improver on the rise in trip, although the son of Nathaniel will need to settle better. It's too early to be writing Medieval Gold off.

CLUB MANAGER is going the right way and seems likely to pull out more now upped to 2m, so he takes preference over the in-form Greek Giant. Buxlow Boy is another lightly-raced sort who should benefit from the longer trip, but he's shown the odd sign of temperament.

Most have possibilities. GREEK GIANT and Buxlow Boy may be the ones to benefit most from this slog.

16:50 Catterick Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Compensation could await WADE'S MAGIC, who has been knocking on the door over C&D of late. Tim Easterby's gelding races off the same mark as his recent second here and holds the most compelling claims. Autumn Flight posted one of his better efforts when finishing a close-up third at Pontefract last week and is feared most on this quick turnaround off a 2lb lower rating. White Umbrella has been in fair form on the all-weather and completes the shortlist.

GARIFULLINA has few miles on the clock and caught the eye back from a 4-month break at Redcar last month. She makes fair appeal. Autumn Flight and Wade's Magic can also make their presence felt.

A weak contest where the suggestion is WADE'S MAGIC, who has conditions to suit, a handy draw and goes well at this track.

The County Clare handler is represented by TASMANIAN GIRL in this wide-open affair and the daughter of Australia looks capable of making an impact. A solid fifth on her penultimate start at Roscommon, she came in for some market support at Cork on Tuesday of last week, finishing a never nearer fourth of 18 behind Zephron. Upped in trip now to 10 furlongs, it'll be disappointing if she is not involved towards the business end. Secret Rock has won two of his last four and would be a worthy favourite, while Grann's Boy and Not Just Any Eagle are other obvious contenders, with the latter beaten by a nose at Gowran in July. Second and third respectively in this race 12 months ago, Gudrun Genberg and Noble Crusade both warrant respect, while Leabaland, Pollanassa and Game Notion are others for the shortlist.

SOLAR BREEZE wasn't seen to best effect at Punchestown last time but she'd been in good form previously and the step up in trip could suit her, so she gets the nod over Grann's Boy and Secret Rock.

A race of this standard looks within the range of NOT JUST ANY EAGLE who went very close for today's rider at Gowran in July.

LTO Selection:

17:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 11f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

In an open event, marginal preference is for FLEUR DE MER, who has won two of her last three starts and is only 4lb higher than for the most recent of those victories at Newcastle. Mordor found just one too good on his handicap bow here three weeks ago and the son of Roaring Lion remains open to further improvement. Others to note are Perseus Way, Tessy Lad and Mayfair Gold.

A case can be made for a few of these but FLEUR DE MER looks the way to go on the back of his ready Newcastle success. Good Salisbury third Alice Knyvet is next on the list ahead of Yarmouth scorer Tarbaan and Perseus Way.

Plenty to consider in an open handicap, headed by FLEUR DE MER. Alice Knyvet and Mordor head the list of dangers.

LTO Selection:

17:05 Bangor Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ACT OF AUTHORITY displayed plenty of promise when filling second place in both bumper starts earlier in the year and it would be no surprise to see the son of Authorized make a winning debut over hurdles here. Dino Bellagio also showed ability in bumpers and he could prove to be the main threat to the selection, although Shiroccosmagicbaby and Mahler Moon also merit consideration.

Winning pointer ACT OF AUTHORITY ran with plenty of promise in both his bumpers and is taken to make a successful switch to hurdling. Dino Bellagio also makes plenty of appeal on his first start over timber, whilst Iron D'ex acquitted himself well here last autumn and is not taken lightly.

Useful prospect ACT OF AUTHORITY can make a winning start over hurdles.

LTO Selection:

17:12 Nottingham Handicap (Class 4) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The hat-trick seeking I Still Have Faith looks to have more in the locker and a further 5lb rise in the ratings shouldn't prevent another bold bid. Slight preference, however, is for NAVARRE EXPRESS, who was quite a taking winner when romping clear on her handicap debut at Ffos Las last month. The daughter of Roaring Lion could defy a 6lb hike, while Dubai Souq is worth a second look.

NAVARRE EXPRESS seemed particularly well suited by both the soft ground and increased test of stamina when making a successful switch to handicaps at Ffos Las last time and she looks capable of following up. Dubai Souq is proven on the going and ran well behind a pair of improvers last time, so gets the nod for second over the in-form I Still Have Faith, who would be a major player if coping with testing conditions.

The 3yos make plenty of appeal, with NAVARRE EXPRESS (nap) looking well equipped for a slog in the mud and bringing potential.

LTO Selection:

17:20 Catterick Handicap (Class 5) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TARRAFF won with plenty to spare when gaining a breakthrough success on her handicap debut at Leicester last month and the three-year-old filly is fancied to shrug off a 6lb rise in the ratings to strike again. Valley Of Flowers travelled with more verve on her recent Ayr triumph and isn't taken lightly off 5lb higher in this contest, while Richard P Smith could unlock some untapped potential now upped to 1m4f and the son of Belardo is another to consider.

This is tougher than the race VALLEY OF FLOWERS won at Ayr but she has a host of good C&D efforts to her name and is chanced to go in again raised 5 lb. Don't Look Back, Ring of Beara and Richard P Smith are all dangers.

The filly TARRAFF has the potential to do better and, with the stable's runners in good form, she can back up her Leicester success.

Even more competitive than the opening divide. Successful in first time blinkers at the Curragh recently, Magic Charm should go close in his attempt to follow up, while course and distance winner Stay Local, top-weight Hello Power and Tim Doyle's Special Protector are other leading hopes. For a selection, it might be worth siding with LITTLE JO. A nine-time winner in the UK, he had no luck in running when a never nearer fourth at Galway last month. The Major Cadeaux nine-year-old has been given a chance by the handicapper and is down 10lb since making his debut here in July. John McConnell trains the selection and is also represented by Dinamine, who is not without his chance. Init Together, Lucky Question and Flier are a few more for the shortlist, with the latter beaten by just three-parts of a length over this course and distance on her penultimate start.

LITTLE JO is running well and could be the way to go. Stay Local is respected back here under Conor Stone-Walsh, with old rival Flier another to note.

The ground will suit LITTLE JO who recorded the most recent of nine British wins on heavy going in the spring and is now on a fair mark

17:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Hurricane Power and Honest Desire are the pick of those with experience but they could be vulnerable in a race of this nature. With that in mind, preference is for URESHII, who is a Too Darn Hot half-brother to Group 3-winning sprinter Sense Of Duty, and he represents a yard that can get one ready first time. Exceed Now also catches the eye as the first foal out of a mare who won a Group 3 over 6f as a juvenile. More Light and Mesaafi merit consideration too.

NEAPOLITAN's mid-field effort in a good Newmarket novice a month ago was a sound start and expected to build on that, he could be the answer. Hurricane Power's level is established but he warrants respect, with Exceed Now perhaps the pick of a reasonable bunch of newcomers.

Clearly the best form belongs to HONEST DESIRE and Hurricane Power but there is stacks of interest among the newcomers.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

CANNOCK PARK only found one too good on his Rules debut in a similar event at Carlisle earlier in the year and the five-year-old could be hard to stop with the benefit of that experience. That said, Ridge Hill also went well on his racecourse bow in August and should not be underestimated, while Professor Higgins edges out Macmolly and Panhandle Slim to be best of the rest.

CANNOCK PARK ran well on his first go in this sphere at Catterick when last seen in March and gets the vote. Newcomer Macmolly is interesting, as is King of Answers.

The form and experience of CANNOCK PARK could make him hard to catch.

18:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GIORGIO M showed plenty of ability to finish fourth at Wolverhampton on debut last week and the son of Profitable should have learned a great deal from that experience. The booking of William Buick hints he is fancied take a big step forward. Durham Castle, who has a tongue-tie fitted for his introduction, was a 220,000gns purchase as a yearling so any market support for him would be of interest. Fellow newcomer Jarraaf is another to keep an eye on.

WARSONG failed to live up to market expectations when fourth at Yarmouth on his debut but looked very green there and should have learned plenty. He can take a big step forward now and win a very open-looking novice. Giorgio M could emerge as the chief threat if, as expected, building on his encouraging debut Wolverhampton fourth, although there are clutch of newcomers with the potential to have a say too, including Moswaat, Jarraaf and Crafty Spirit.

The vote goes to GIORGIO M who performed better than the market suggested he would when fourth on his Wolverhampton debut.

LTO Selection:

18:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

MISCHIEF MAGIC looks the class act in this field and he has been gelded since finishing eighth in the Commonwealth Cup. Last year's Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint hero is rated 4lb clear of nearest rival Brad The Brief and should prove too good. Never Just A Dream returns from a break after finishing a respectable fifth at Meydan in February and he could fight it out for a place with Misty Grey.

A very useful conditions event with MISCHIEF MAGIC and Brad The Brief expected to fight it out given they drop down from Group 1 company. Marginal preference is for the Godolphin 3-y-o back from a break/gelding operation.

A few of these have something to prove, not least MISCHIEF MAGIC but he is favoured by the conditions and has won a Group 3 over C&D.

(10) Magical Max 33/1, Latest win at Newmarket in June. 11/1, creditable sixth of 12 in handicap at Thirsk (7f, good to soft) 25 days ago. Can go well again.
Often misses the break and will again likely be reliant on some luck from stall 13.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dionysian finished a close-up third in the Racing League at Southwell and he has to be respected off the same mark, but the vote goes to last week's C&D second ELZAAM BLUE. The Jamie Osborne-trained five-year-old appreciated the drop to this level when just failing to get up and he could go one better off the same rating. Surrey Noir and Crow's Nest are a couple of others to watch out for in an open contest.

SURREY NOIR's form is on an upward curve so he is fancied to make light of a 7 lb rise for his stylish C&D success and go in again. Elzaam Blue is weighted to have a big say and heads the list of dangers, although a solid case can also be made for Saturnalia, Satin Snake and Dionysian in a very competitive handicap.

A cracking handicap can go to SURREY NOIR, who's got it together over C&D since cheekpieces went on. Saturnalia is second choice.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

None of these look particularly well handicapped and while the likes of Behind The Scenes and Tiempo Star help to set a good standard, THEME PARK strikes as one with more to offer. Nigel Tinkler's three-year-old was just denied at York on his first start after being gelded, and he broke his maiden over 7f here last year so is proven on the surface. Tyndrum Gold is already a dual C&D winner and is feared most, while Gulmarg is another capable of going close.

BEHIND THE SCENES is progressive and still didn't look the finished article when landing a 7-runner event at Wolverhampton 48 days ago, so she's capable of going in again. Theme Park arrives on the back of a solid showing at York and looks a danger along with Tiempo Star, who is expected to return to form after a break.

The lightly raced BEHIND THE SCENES (nap) remains open to improvement having made it 2-2 on the AW last time and gets the vote.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

A winner off 4lb lower on his first attempt over a mile, My Opinion appear likely to go well. However, that Chelmsford success came in a 0-52 band and this represents a sterner test, with RECUERDAME suggested as the preferred option. Having returned from a break to win over C&D, Simon Dow's gelding is still on a handy mark and a 4lb rise might not be enough to prevent back-to-back successes. Weloof and Wizarding complete the shortlist.

IBIZA ROCKS is on a career-low mark and took a step back in the right direction when third at Newcastle recently, so he's worth taking a chance on in an open race. Last-time-out winner My Opinion could progress again, so he's feared most, while course winner Wizarding is hard to rule out.

Maybe MY OPINION, who's clicked lately and found this longer trip fine at Chelmsford, will be able to defy a 4lb rise and follow up.

LTO Selection:

20:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Suanni is a likely pace angle and, from a handy draw, he is a threat to all if his stamina holds out back over 6f for the first time this year. Mintana is also shortlisted after a surprise success over this trip off 3lb lower at Wolverhampton. However, a strong tempo would ideally suit Kempton regular MAGICINTHEMAKING, who is currently dangerously well handicapped in comparison to her peak form and a big run can be expected on her return.

SUANNI hasn't won for a while but came in for good support when touched off at Wolverhampton recently, so he's taken to go one better in a race he could dominate from a relatively low draw. Lion Ring is an obvious danger and Bama Lama is expected to put an excusable run behind her.

The Cola Kid should be arriving on the scene late but MINTANA is fancied to follow up her recent Wolverhampton success.
