LTO Selection:

13:15 Curragh Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BETULA boasts the most appealing profile on the basis that she finished fourth here on debut behind Ylang Ylang and was then deemed good enough for the Group 2 Debutante Stakes. She couldn't land a telling blow in that race, but she's clearly held in high regard and ought to go very close returning to maiden company for this assignment. Wendla finished an encouraging second on debut at Cork and is entitled to step forward, while Aidan O'Brien launches a three-pronged assault and Everlasting is arguably the pick of them on her debut with Ryan Moore booked.

Plenty in with chances but preference is for BETULA, who found the step up to Group 2 company too much on just her second outing but back in maiden company, Jessica Harrington's filly can make it third time lucky. Wendla produced a promising first effort when finishing runner-up at Cork recently so she could provide the main threat, while Everlasting, Porters Place and Evening Blossom are just a trio of newcomers requiring close attention.

Newcomers Porters Place and Everlasting demand respect but the benefit of a previous run could give WENDLA the edge here

LTO Selection:

13:40 Exeter Maiden Chase (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

It is hard to get away from COCONUT SPLASH, who stands out on official ratings and can be fancied to lead his two rivals a merry dance at this level. Glengeever is the obvious threat on figures but faces a slight stamina query over this trip. Joyful Kit is rated 48lb inferior to the selection and faces a mammoth task on these terms.

COCONUT SPLASH has long since been expensive to follow over fences but this looks a great opportunity for him to get off the mark. Glengeever can give him most to do.

It's hard to be brimful of confidence but COCONUT SPLASH has much the best form and Glengeever is a clear second best on form.

LTO Selection:

13:50 Curragh Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Aidan O'Brien looks to have a strong hand here, with PSALM slightly preferred ahead of stablemates Meriwether Lewis and Agenda. The 300,000gns purchase will likely have learnt plenty from his debut at Newmarket, where he looked green after dwelling at the start, and this track could be more to his liking. The aforementioned Meriwether Lewis may improve for the addition of blinkers, while Kortez Bay has three runs to draw upon and he looks to be heading the right way.

KORTEZ BAY has gradually improved with each outing and gets the nod in what looks a highly competitive maiden. The Aidan O'Brien pair, Psalm and Meriwether Lewis head the list of dangers.

Lady Adare

3/1(+14%)
(4) Lady Adare 3/1, Won first 3 starts over hurdles and following a third wind operation, returned to form after 4 months off when a close third at Newton Abbot (16.8f, good) in August. Attentions now turned to chasing and with her yard successful in this last year, she merits plenty of respect.
Three wind ops, the latest before a creditable hurdles run in August; chance on best form.

Glimpse Of Gala

11/4(-150%)
(3) Glimpse Of Gala 11/4, Likeable mare who scored at Kempton (24.5f) last Christmas and again proved tenacious when following up at Warwick (25f) in January. Not at her best in the Pertemps but wasted no time getting back on track when sixth at Aintree (24.7f, good) 6 months ago. Likely sort sent chasing.
One of the top two on hurdles form but she came to the fore over about 3m last term.

3rd (2) Galice Macalo (6/1 +8%)
Galice Macalo

6/1(+8%)
(2) Galice Macalo 6/1, Fairly useful hurdler who was back to her best when impressively winning 10-runner handicap at Chepstow (2m) in January. Failed to reach that level in 4 subsequent outings and makes her reappearance over the larger obstacles (had a wind op in the interim).
Wind op in August; has some of the better form but also a fair bit to prove back chasing.

4th (7) Inspiratrice (16/1 +11%)
Inspiratrice

16/1(+11%)
(7) Inspiratrice 16/1, Caused a huge shock (200/1) when landing a Taunton juvenile event at the end of December and similar form in defeat when third at Taunton in February. Well out of her depth in Dawn Run at Cheltenham (16.8f, soft) when last seen 7 months ago and makes chase debut.
1-6 over hurdles; needs to show something very new if she's to upset all of these rivals.
5th
5th (1) Cotton End (28/1 +30%)
Cotton End

28/1(+30%)
(1) Cotton End 28/1, Losing run is mounting up but ran creditably by recent standards when third over C&D (good to soft) just over 6 weeks ago. Remains easy enough to oppose for win purposes with hopes pinned on a first-time tongue tie doing the trick.
Not the force of old and 0-9 over fences; surely vulnerable; tongue tied first time.
6th
6th (5) Prussia With Love (150/1 -88%)
Prussia With Love

150/1(-88%)
(5) Prussia With Love 150/1, Fair 19f hurdles winner at her best for Dan Skelton but has clearly been tricky to train since and showed little after yet another stable switch here and at Southwell in recent months. This is just her second attempt over fences but it's easy to look elsewhere.
Lightly raced these days and out of sorts for three different yards in her last six runs.
7th
7th (6) Space Voyage (15/8 +46%)
Space Voyage

15/8(+46%)
(6) Space Voyage 15/8, Bumper winner who took very well to hurdling, completing a hat-trick of small-field novice events at Ludlow (21.2f, good to soft) when last seen in April. Surprisingly kept to this sort of trip for her chasing debut but fancied to be firmly in the shake-up.
Found some improvement to win three novice hurdles; good shout if she finds any more.
LTO Selection:

13:55 Worcester Maiden Chase (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

GLIMPSE OF GALA was the best hurdler in this field and she should take all of the beating now tackling fences. Charlie Longdon's charge is clear of these on official ratings and she can get her head in front at the first time of asking over the larger obstacles. Space Voyage had a good summer over hurdles and she rates as the biggest danger to the selection, while Lady Adare can pick up the pieces should the aforementioned pair not fire.

This looks likely to go to a chasing debutante and GLIMPSE OF GALA is selected to come out on top before the benefit of market clues. The main danger may emerge from Lady Adare, who returned to form following a third breathing operation when a close third at Newton Abbot in August and could take a step forward now chasing, with Space Voyage and Galice Macalo another couple fancied to be in the shake-up.

Glimpse Of Gala (second choice), Space Voyage and Galice Macalo make some appeal, as does LADY ADARE on her better efforts.

LTO Selection:

14:00 Tramore Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A weak affair with GRANPA GER the suggestion. Out of five-time winner Clarach, the Tony Mullins-trained bay has improved with each run thus far and gave it a good go from the front at Gowran most recently. He eventually finished fifth at the Co Kilkenny venue, half-a-length in front of the reopposing Grasshopper Time. This Roger McGrath-trained five-year-old came from off the pace at Gowran and if more prominent tactics are deployed now he should go close. Gordon Elliott is represented by Farewellchancer and while clearly not one of the leading lights at Cullentra, he should be able to make his presence felt in a contest of this quality. A close fifth on his penultimate start, Blue In The West warrants respect, while Our Uncle Jack and newcomer Ivar The Boneless are others to consider.

IVAR THE BONELESS has a near 2-year absence to overcome but he's in good hands and if he can get close to his French form, he will take some stopping. Blue In The West must cast aside a heavy defeat at Galway but is a definite threat if doing so.

Tricky but at least BLUE IN THE WEST ran to his mark, and handled the track, when running well in a handicap here and this trip may suit

LTO Selection:

14:10 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Jim Goldie has two good chances but five-time course winner AYR POET looks the best hope based on his proven effectiveness on this circuit. Amie Waugh's 3lb claim is a boost for the eight-year-old and further success could be imminent. There are dangers aplenty, though, and the likes of Kentucky Bluegrass, recent Beverley winner Frankendael and the first-time visored Tilsitt are all capable of making sure this is a typically competitive apprentice riders contest. The selection's stablemate, Sophiesticate, is dangerous to underestimate, too.

FRANKENDAEL upped his game immediately for his new stable at Beverley 22 days ago and there's likely more to come, so he gets the nod ahead of Ayr Poet and Kentucky Bluegrass.

Having won with something to spare on heavy ground at Beverley three weeks ago on stable debut, FRANKENDAEL (nap) can defy a 5lb rise.

Player if best Flat form could be transferred to this sphere.
LTO Selection:

14:15 Exeter Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

POST NO BILLS may be winless in six attempts over hurdles but he arrives in top form following a smooth success at Plumpton over fences last month. This looks like a winnable contest and his experience may be too much for Jeudidee, who struggled under a penalty at Uttoxeter but was a good winner prior to that at Worcester. The Anthony Honeyball stable can do little wrong at present and Amalfi Bay could also have a say in proceedings.

JEUDIDEE has the best hurdling form and is fancied to enhance a good strike rate at the likely expense of Post No Bills, who is a big player based on chasing form. Amalfi Bay is the pick of the rest.

Jeudidee is the clear pick on hurdles form but POST NO BILLS (nap) has been going great guns on good ground over fences.

LTO Selection:

14:25 Curragh Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A deeply competitive contest sees plenty of chances in this field, with the tentative selection being LISIEUX. Adrian McGuinness' filly hasn't won since last October, but she has registered successive placed efforts recently and appears likely to mount a bold bid if she gets more luck in running than when third over an extended 7f at Bellewstown last time. Racing Royalty is feared most after a game win over 7f at Listowel, while Whatharm and Cnodian should also be challenging at the line.

WHATHARM produced his most promising turf effort for a while when third at Gowran in August and down slightly in class, he's just about the most appealing option. Racing Royalty got the job done at Listowel 3 weeks ago so is clearly in good order, with Nituna one to consider at longer odds back in trip.

14:30 Worcester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A chance is taken on BOLINTLEA, who won easily over 3m at Fakenham on her penultimate start and, if she bounces back to form following a disappointing Ffos Las effort, this prize appears within her reach. Prince De Juilley is feared most after running into a modest third over hurdles at Ludlow, with the second subsequently franking that form, while Faitque De L'Isle could also have a say.

PRINCE DE JUILLEY only achieved modest form over hurdles but, as an ex-pointer, he's the type to do better in this sphere, so he gets the nod over Bolintlea, who could get back on the up after 8 months off. Kapitaliste is also considered.

It was a fair stable/chasing debut by METHUSALAR here last time, and this longer trip will suit. Faitque De L'Isle is next best.

14:35 Tramore Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CRAIC EILE is a token choice in this wide-open contest. While she hasn't managed to win a race in over two years, she is a dual course and distance victor and was a fair sixth on the level here on her penultimate start. Back over flights now and with Darragh Allen claiming a valuable 7lb, the Ken Budds-trained six-year-old should go close. Port Rashid is another that acts well around Tramore, winning twice from seven visits to the seaside venue. He went down by just a length at Ballinrobe on his most recent start and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to go a place better now. Successful here at the August festival, Prince Of Air is sure to have plenty of supporters, while other leading contenders are the Gordon Elliott-trained Be My Hero, course and distance winner Bite That and Wexford victor No Show.

BITE THAT is just 1 lb above the mark off which he scored over C&D last August, and he is appealing on the back of a solid effort over fences at Wexford when last seen. Fellow C&D winner Port Rashid also returned to form on his latest start, hitting the crossbar in a handicap at Ballinrobe, and he is next on the list ahead of Star Official.

Though she has been well beaten over fences on her last two starts, PANA TO MILAN is proven on this ground and can score.

14:45 Ayr Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PEACE WALK showed major improvement from first to second start when scoring comfortably at Beverley last month, and the slight rise in distance should not inconvenience as he looks to overcome a 7lb penalty. Lava Stream seemed to be getting the hang of things late on when fifth at Thirsk and he must enter calculations, along with Deimos, who wasn't disgraced on his racecourse bow for a stable in excellent form.

PEACE WALK left his debut effort in his wake when running out an authoritative winner of a Beverley novice 16 days ago, relishing the underfoot conditions in the process. Open to further improvement, he can concede weight all round and follow up. Deimos and Lava Stream head up the dangers.

The Charlie Johnston-trained PEACE WALK won by 4l on soft ground at Beverley on his second start and he's taken to defy a penalty.

LTO Selection:

14:50 Exeter Handicap Chase (Class 3) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A winner of four of his last six starts throughout the summer months, OPENING BID sets the standard on form and conditions should be in his favour once more as he looks to continue that terrific run. A determined winner at Newton Abbot over shorter on his penultimate start, Kauto The King is a key player, as well as the veteran Pink Eyed Pedro, who has been plying his trade over the smaller obstacles most recently.

PINK EYED PEDRO is firmly into the veteran stage of his career but he's been given a massive chance by the assessor returned to fences, so he's fancied to cash in. Opening Bid has been in terrific form for some time now so he's the obvious threat.

Most of these struggle with consistency. That's not true of OPENING BID who is having a solid season.

15:00 Curragh Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The form to concentrate on looks to be the recent clash at Cork between Zephron (first) and BREEZY ZOFF (second), where the former seemed to relish the mile when getting on top late in the day. Preference on this occasion is for Gavin Cromwell's charge, who is 3lb better off, should be suited by conditions and was a winner over C&D last October. The third from that contest Swiss Army Officer is a consistent gelding at this level and joins Merisi Diamond on the shortlist.

Plenty are in with a shout. COFFEEMEANSCOFFEE was set too much to do here last time and has now slipped to a handy-looking mark so is taken to capitalise. Zephron and Breezy Zoff fought out a good finish at Cork last month and both enter calculations along with in-form duo Lasting Peace and Blue Peak.

PALLASMORE LASS has been shaping like her turn may be near and she's only gone up 1lb for finishing runner-up last time

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RICKETY BRIDGE was a facile winner on her only point-to-point start and this looks the perfect chance to get her head in front at the first time of asking under Rules. The four-year-old looks a good recruit for Paul Nicholls and he can win this before going on to bigger and better things. Newcomer Huckleberry Sting is interesting for the powerful Dan Skelton team, while Wet The Shamrock completes the shortlist.

The market will be informative here with several point recruits to consider but RICKETY BRIDGE has transferred to Paul Nicholls following an easy win between the flags so he's awarded the vote. Huckleberry Sting is another very likely type on paper, with West Warhouse just about the pick of those with previous form.

The newcomers to racing under rules look an interesting bunch and RICKETY BRIDGE is preferred to Wet The Shamrock.

KUDASHEVA might be able to bounce back from a disappointing effort at Clonmel in February. Bought for 370,000 pounds after winning a point-to-point on debut, the Pour Moi bay was a fine third on her first start for current connections at Navan. She was a solid fifth on her next outing at Limerick, before failing to make an impact when sent off favourite at Powerstown Park. Four Clean Aces is Paul Townend's only ride on the card and the dual bumper winner is given second preference. A faller on debut over flights, she since finished a disappointing fourth when odds-on at Listowel. She may have needed that run to get her confidence back and it'll come as a surprise if she is not involved towards the business end here. Lucky Viv, Straight Home, Silent Approach and Rachael's Secret are others of interest.

KUDASHEVA folded tamely when last seen but she'd won a point and shown promise in this sphere prior to that, so she's worth a chance to make a successful return from 7 months off. Four Clean Aces is yet to match her bumper form over hurdles, but a cleaner round of jumping will put her in the picture, and a return to form from Silent Approach would give her a chance.

The form of her first two runs over hurdles is good enough to win this so KUDASHEVA is taken to score at her local track

15:20 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

DARBUCKS was only narrowly beaten into second in a similar event over course and distance last week and he is hard to oppose off the same mark. That said, The Gay Blade has a similar profile and is actually 1lb lower then when a neck second at Hamilton 10 days ago. With that in mind, the four-year-old cannot be discounted, while Global Humor and Rogue Force are others to note.

DARBUCKS arrives on a losing run of thirteen, yet he's gone very close to bucking that trend in recent starts, latterly when runner-up over C&D 9 days ago and he looks sure to go well again for all his mark is creeping back up. Global Humor and The Gay Blade are others to consider.

Darbucks is banging at the door but MISS CALCULATION has conditions to suit and may be primed to strike on this drop in grade.

Slightly unlucky not to be arriving on a hat-trick following a narrow defeat in a Worcester bumper last time, NEWMILL GETAWAY looks a smart prospect for the David Brace stable and she should be primed to strike on her hurdles bow. She can score at the main expense of Fountainspinklady, who wasn't disgraced on her own hurdles debut at Worcester and should be suited by dropping back in trip. Vivid Pink is open to improvement as well on the back of a decent effort at Market Rasen in August.

The market should prove highly informative but NEWMILL GETAWAY brings some fair winning bumper form to the table so is fancied to go in at the first time of asking in this sphere. Fellow newcomers Vivid Pink and Breccia both offer potential too and can chase home David Brace's filly in that order.

If NEWMILL GETAWAY finds some fluency over hurdles, and she's bred to be a jumper, then she looks in pole position on her bumper form.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Golden Temple boasts plenty of experience and a return to the level is likely to suit following a couple of runs in juvenile hurdles. That said, he may prove vulnerable to a less-exposed rival and the vote goes to LION WAIT. He shaped with plenty of encouragement when fourth here over 1m 2f last month and the step up in trip appears likely to bring about some improvement. Others to consider include Collaborative, Neptunes Staircase and Teorema.

GOLDEN TEMPLE ran below the form of his hurdles debut effort at Ballinrobe 4 weeks ago but the pick of his exploits in this sphere give him claims in a wide-open maiden and he gets the tentative vote to come out on top. Milwaukee back from a break, Teorema and Lion Wait are others to consider, along with Neptunes Staircase.

BEST MATE DAVE got off the mark over C&D two starts ago and he may have found 2m7f a bit too far when caught late on his most recent outing. Back down in trip, the six-year-old could be hard to stop off what is clearly a workable mark. Steal My Sunshine won well when last seen at Uttoxeter in May and has to be respected on his return, while Rare Clouds is also noted.

A case can be made for a few of these but C&D winner BEST MATE DAVE arrives on an upward curve and is taken to emerge on top from handily-weighted course scorer Gieves. Steal My Sunshine and Elogio both have plenty to recommend them too so need considering in a competitive event.

Proven over C&D and beyond of late, BEST MATE DAVE may prove safer than Elogio. Course 2m maiden scorer Gieves is feared most.

LACKANEEN MAG looks well treated off an initial mark of 95. Placed on recent starts at Ballinrobe and Killarney, the Ken Budds-trained five-year-old will be ridden by Shane Fenelon who claims a valuable 7lb. The hat-trick seeking Paidi's Passion has been in excellent form of late and beat a decent field when successful over fences at Ballinrobe last month. Switching back to the smaller obstacles now and with Darragh O'Keeffe again in the saddle, it'll be interesting to see how she fares. Top-weight Walmix will likely have plenty of supporters as he starts off in handicap company, while Pat Coyne, Frazel Express and Inchiquin Star are other leading hopes in this competitive affair.

Dual Flat winner COMO PARK performed with credit when third in a 2m maiden hurdle here last time and, with the promise of better to come now handicapping and faced with a stiffer test, he gets the nod. Inchiquin Star did the job well on her latest start in this sphere and is feared most, though Walmix remains open to improvement and Paidi's Passion has to be respected in her hat-trick bid.

You won't get rich backing 11-year-old mares but a chance is taken with dual C&D winner FRAZEL EXPRESS who might have one more in her

15:55 Ayr Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ADMIRAL D bounced back to form when running a big race in third over C&D last time, and this looks a good opportunity to get his head in front. Richard Fahey's runner was only beaten one and a half lengths that day and he looks primed to go close off the same mark. Ascot Adventure rates as the biggest danger to the selection after scoring in the Bronze Cup last time, but it won't be easy to defy a 6lb rise, while Abduction also warrants respect.

Several of these ran in the Silver Cup here 3 weeks ago, with the frustrating ADMIRAL D (third on that occasion) taken to confirm the form and finally get off the mark for these connections. Snazzy Jazzy should pay his way for Seb Spencer and is feared, while Abduction, who has a good Ayr record, is also one to consider.

Having come clear with a next-time-out winner when landing the Bronze Cup over C&D three weeks ago, ASCOT ADVENTURE earns the vote.

In a fairly open contest it might be worth taking a chance on CAWTHORNE CRACKER. He must compete from 3lb out of the handicap but his recent handicap debut offered hope that he can make an impact at this level. Pittsburg is a consistent performer and should not be far away, while others to note include Happy Company, Pepsiwithacap and Vin Rouge.

A chance is taken on FERRYBRIDGE, who stepped up on what he showed in Ireland when fourth at Sedgefield on his first start for the James Owen yard. This low-mileage 5-y-o will be a serious contender if able to build on that. Ten Ten Twenty went close at Kelso last month and is feared most off the same mark, while Bahtiyar, the consistent Pittsburg and Vin Rouge are others to consider.

A very open handicap. James Owen is making a name for himself and his new recruit FERRYBRIDGE ran well for a long way at Sedgefield.

TRACHONITUS posted another solid effort over 1m1f at Tipperary 11 days ago. Jim Bolger's charge ought to appreciate this step up in trip judged on pedigree and ground with cut in it clearly isn't a problem. His sole career win came at this track and he wouldn't be winning out of turn on his return here. The First And Last remains unexposed and is expected to go well in first-time cheekpieces, while fellow three-year-old Genuine Article boasts a similar profile sporting a tongue-tie for the first time. DOUGHMORE BAY readily accounted for Ikarak (second) when making a winning Rules debut over 2m4f here in May and the unexposed son of Milan can confirm that form on his way to another victory. The aforementioned Ikarak was subsequently second in a valuable handicap at this venue and is likely to be in the mix once again. Others to note are Mullys Choice and Isle Of Gold.

DOUGHMORE BAY got the better of Ikarak when they met here in May and, with this stiffer test likely to prompt improvement, Emma Lavelle's charge is taken to uphold that form. Ikarak has the advantage of a recent run under his belt and won't go down without a fight, while Mullys Choice and Outside Adesa, both of whom showed ability between the flags, need a close look in the betting. Kick Up A Storm is surely capable of better than he showed in a bumper last year and is not discounted.

16:20 Tramore Handicap Chase 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Successful three times from nine visits to Tramore, ITSALONGLONGROAD might be able to enhance that record. Third on his most recent visit to the Co Waterford venue, he since filled the runner-up spot at Ballinrobe, before disappointing on heavy ground at Listowel. Back to his favourite venue now and fitted with a visor for the first time, the versatile nine-year-old should go close. Mater Matuta has a course and distance win to her name and the Charles Coakley-trained chestnut is given second preference. A runner-up on her latest try over fences, it'll come as no surprise if she manages to go a place better now. Finians Row sprang a surprise when successful on his 24th start at Downpatrick last month and it'll be interesting to see if he can follow-up on that performance. Top-weight Cheerful Chap, Philip Rothwell's Ardamir and recent Clonmel third Shean Glory (first-time cheekpieces) are other leading hopes.

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and FINNIANS ROW looks the way to go on the back of his breakthrough success at Downpatrick. Killarney second Ardamir rates the chief threat to the well-treated selection ahead of in-form pair Shean Glory and Mater Matuta.

Though ARDAMIR is more effective on better ground, he might be able to get away with it dropped to this grade.

LTO Selection:

16:25 Chelmsford Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

AL SHABAB struggled in a very competitive sales event at Doncaster when last seen but his previous form at this level suggests that he could be hard to beat here. That said, Pinjarra took a step forward when third over a mile at this venue three weeks ago and he may have more improvement left to come. Pressure's On and Pretence are both capable of going very well but could be vulnerable to less exposed rivals.

It's fair to say that PRESSURE'S ON doesn't look especially progressive but he has shown more than enough to suggest that a race of this nature would be within his grasp. He gets the nod ahead of Al Shabab, who was flying too high in a valuable sales race last time and comes into the reckoning judged on his creditable effort at Leicester in August. Pretence also has decent form claims, for all that she was below par last time.

Pressure's On will be a strong contender if seeing out the trip but AL SHABAB looks the safer option back down in grade.

LTO Selection:

16:30 Ayr Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Hills Of Gold and Agnes Grey are open to improvement at this stage of their development and are serious competitors. However, TREMENDOUS TIMES has dropped to a highly attractive rating and, off 2lb lower than his latest start when fourth here, he has a live chance of reversing the form with the runner-up from that contest, Jkr Cobbler, to break his maiden at the 11th time of asking in the process. The veteran Muntadab is also feared.

JKR COBBLER is compiling an excellent record at Ayr, finding only a well-treated rival too good over C&D last week and from the same mark, he can regain the winning thread. Tremendous Times hasn't had much exposure to 7f so he's a threat, with Muntadab another to consider dropped in grade.

C&D specialist JKR COBBLER has continued in good form since winning three in a row here this summer and can get back on the scoresheet.

16:35 Exeter Handicap Chase (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

RED HAPPY found only an unexposed rival too strong at Fontwell six days ago and that effort left the impression that David Pipe's six-year-old is coming into some form. He is now extremely well treated, having won off 27lb higher at this venue in October last year, so it would come as no surprise to see him back in the winner's enclosure. Recent Newton Abbot scorer Dan's Chosen ought to be thereabouts raised just 1lb in the ratings, while Scrumpy Boy heads the remainder.

Having dropped a long way in the weights, RED HAPPY returned to form when runner-up at Fontwell 6 days ago and he can build on that to return to winning ways. Scrumpy Boy was successful at Newton Abbot when last seen in July and is feared most on his stable debut, with Dan's Chosen the pick of the remainder.

This trip is on the short side and they claimed 8lb off him last week at Fontwell, but RED HAPPY is handicapped to win again.

16:45 Curragh Handicap 10f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A competitive contest but it is hard to oppose PACHMENA, who had plenty in hand when winning over 1m 4f here on Saturday. A 7lb penalty for that success may not be enough to stop her this afternoon judging by the way that she won on that occasion. Giselles Defence could prove to be the main danger based on his second-placed finish at Down Royal last month. Others to note are Florida Taiga, Our Dickie and David Garrick.

INDULGING rates the pick of these weights on the back of his recent Laytown second so gets the verdict at the chief expense of course scorer Pachmena. Tasayad and Golden Star also need factoring into this open-looking handicap.

16:50 Worcester Maiden Hurdle (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

A comfortable winner of a point-to-point in March, NEW ORDER is an intriguing option given he swapped hands for 95,000 pounds at Tattersalls Cheltenham sales the following month. A full-brother to smart hurdler/chaser The Goffer, this son of Yeats heads the shortlist starting out under Rules in this company. Kamsinas won a Kelso bumper on his penultimate start and should also give a good account, while R S Ambush is noted too.

The betting should prove useful in assessing the chances of a few, but KAMSINAS boasted a positive profile in bumpers and could be the way to go now hurdling. Fellow hurdling debutant Divilskin is another to consider given his connections, whilst Charlie Longsdon's New Order is another to note.

Bumper winner KAMSINAS appeals most as having something to offer as a hurdler over this short a trip.

16:55 Tramore Maiden Chase 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

HUTCHIE gets the nod in this weak affair. A winner at Galway on his penultimate start, the Valirann chestnut performed with credit on his racecourse debut over fences, going down by three-lengths to the more experienced Read To Return. Townhill Penny and Game And Glory finished a long way behind the selection at the Co Kerry venue and they both reoppose now. First reserve Croi Corcra would be of definite interest if getting a run. She has four point-to-point wins to her name and was a good third over flights at Fairyhouse recently. Duncarrig is sure to have plenty of supporters after winning at Navan last month. While unproven at the trip, the Tony Mullins-trained six-year-old should be able to make an impact in a contest of this quality. A four-time victor in the UK and a brother to Grade 2 winner Vision Des Flos, Umndeni is an interesting contender. He ran with credit when fifth on his Irish debut at Listowel last month and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to get a lot closer now. Carrig Carol, The Great White and Sixhandsinmypockets are others for the shortlist.

The vote goes to HUTCHIE, who improved when striking over hurdles at Galway last month and duly left his previous efforts in this sphere well behind when runner-up in a maiden chase at Killarney 11 days ago.Duncarrig opened his account at the ninth attempt in a handicap hurdle at Navan and will be a threat if he takes to fences at the first attempt, while Townhill Penny is also shortlisted.

In fine form lately, having won a Galway handicap hurdle and second in a Killarney beginners' chase, HUTCHIE can score.

LTO Selection:

17:00 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BLUE FLAME was only beaten a neck into second over course and distance a week ago and he can race off a 1lb lower mark here. That leaves the six-year-old 4lb well in and he merits the utmost respect as a result. Cariad is more than capable of making the frame in a race of this nature, especially as she may improve for the application of first-time blinkers. Laura's Breeze edges out Nubough to be best of the rest.

LAURA'S BREEZE did well under the circumstances when third on her all-weather debut over this C&D 7 days ago, caught further back than ideal, so she could be ready to open her account this time around. She is taken to reverse the placings with Blue Flame from when the pair met last time, while Landlordtothestars also merits consideration.

Things look in place for a big run from BLUE FLAME (nap) and he can prove too strong for Solar Portrait.

LTO Selection:

17:05 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Last year's winner Zumaaty returns in fine form and should go well again off a 5lb higher mark than 12 months ago, while Temper Trap won a division of this race in 2021 and sneaks in off top weight after a 1lb drop for placing at Hamilton recently. First Greyed is interesting stepping up in trip but preference is for BANNER ROAD, whose sole victory came over this C&D and Jim Goldie's filly hinted her turn was near again when a neck second at Hamilton.

ZUMAATY arrives in good nick and captured this event last year so he edges the vote in an open-looking contest. First Greyed is weighted to have a big say too and next on the list ahead of C&D winner Temper Trap. Fellow C&D scorer Banner Road completes the shortlist.

The in-form ZUMAATY won this comfortably on heavy ground last season and can land back-to-back runnings.

17:10 Exeter Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having bolted up at Worcester on his penultimate start, COOLNAUGH HAZE was far from disgraced in a class 2 event at Market Rasen the following month. Eased 1lb in the ratings and down in grade, he can get back into the winning groove, possibly at the main expense of Nibras Gold. Pop The Champagne and Fat Sam can battle it out for third.

COOLNAUGH HAZE showed improved form when making a winning debut for James Owen in August and wasn't beaten too far from a much higher mark at Southwell last time, so he appeals as the most solid proposition ahead of Cabrakan, who is more than capable from this kind of mark provided his jumping holds up, whilst Copshill Lad is also intriguing on his second handicap start.

James Owen's COOLNAUGH HAZE appeals most after running well in a better race at Market Rasen 12 days ago.

17:15 Curragh Handicap 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MYMOMENTINTIME won this race last year off a 9lb lower perch and looks set for another bold bid today. He has been knocking on the door all year and deserves a change in luck after another near-miss when third over this track and trip on Saturday. The biggest danger could be fellow C&D scorer Art Of Unity, who is now 25lb lower his last winning mark and he dropped a big hint his turn was near again when a one-length third at Navan last week. The booking of Colin Keane catches the eye on Not Too Real Bad, who has also slipped to a fair mark, while Rathbranchurch and Keke add further spice to a tricky contest.

Having been first home in his group at Cork last time, the well treated PRETTY BOY FLOYD is worth chancing with blinkers refitted. The lightly raced Keke looks a big danger and Mymomentintime is worth considering after a creditable third over C&D last week.

With confidence boosted after winning a 20-runner handicap at Navan, RATHBRANCHURCH can turn around Bellewstown form with Keke

IMPERIAL JADE impressed when making all at Chepstow when last seen and can make further progress now she tackles handicap company. Lillie Pinchin has already built up a good rapport with the Charlie Longsdon-trained filly and an opening mark of 99 looks fair. Karannelle has more experience at this sort of level and is feared most, while Saddlers Quest also commands respect.

AVIEWOFTHESTARS upped her game significantly when making a winning debut for new connections at Plumpton last month and remains with potential. She can follow up in the finale. Saddlers Quest and Karannelle rate the principal dangers.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Cappucino has some strong form to his name and looks the one to beat with Maxine O'Sullivan aboard. Last seen finishing fourth in a Listed bumper at Limerick in March, he may just need this run. Willie Mullins introduces newcomer Where's Nanny, with this Walk In The Park bay sure to have plenty of supporters. Out of Loughaderra Dame, who was placed in Listed company over flights, it'll come as a surprise if she is not involved towards the business end. For a selection, it might be worth siding with BALLINEARLA GIRL. She ran a fine race to finish fourth on debut at Wexford in August and was a place behind subsequent winner Meet My Loreley. Likely to have learned plenty at Bettyville, the Eoin Doyle-trained bay will be ridden by capable amateur Emily Cody, who claims a valuable 7lb. Beaten by just a neck over the course and distance in June, Barton Snow has definite claims, while newcomer Go On Zahra is another that warrants respect.

A thin bumper and it's hard to get away from WHERE'S NANNY starting out for Willie Mullins. The experienced pair Barton Snow and Cappucino are feared.

CAPPUCINO (nap) has the form in the book, with three solid bumper runs, including in a Limerick Listed when last seen, so looks solid.

LTO Selection:

17:30 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

The hat-trick seeking Turquoise Diamond has to be respected but the step up in grade is a slight concern and preference is for LEADENHALL. Ralph Beckett's gelding got off the mark at Haydock two starts ago and is only 1lb higher than when a close second at Newmarket on his most recent outing. Fantastic Fox appeared to be coming back to form in a valuable event at Kempton a month ago and is another to consider.

LEADENHALL looked unlucky not to make it back-to-back victories at Newmarket just under 7 weeks ago, so Ralph Beckett's progressive 3-y-o is fancied to make amends fitted with a first-time visor at the expense of Turquoise Diamond, who arrives chasing a hat-trick and could have even more to offer. Court of Session and Roman Dynasty can fight out minor honours.

The step up to 1m could see TURQUOISE DIAMOND pull out some more improvement so she's taken to defy the handicapper again.

17:40 Ayr Handicap (Class 6) 13f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

JAMINOZ arrives here in fine form, seeking a hat-trick after consecutive wins at Hamilton, and he gets the nod for Jim Goldie. The four-year-old seemed to get better the further he went over 1m4f last time and he appears likely to mound a bold bid in attempting to defy a 5lb penalty for that three and a half-length success. Kittykarma makes most appeal of the rest after shaping as if this extra yardage would suit when just held over the extended 1m4f at Newcastle last time, while Clansman is also respected in his bid to follow up a victory over 1m7f here last week.

Having shaped with encouragement at Catterick the last twice, DON'T LOOK BACK could be the answer now pitched into a 0-65 contest and moving up in trip. He could have most to fear from the sole 3-y-o in the line-up, Kittykarma, who was just touched off at Newcastle six days ago and looks dangerous off the same mark (due to go up 2 lb). The hat-trick seeking Jaminoz is third choice ahead of Clansman.

With underfoot conditions to suit, last year's winner CLANSMAN is taken to defy top weight at the main expense of Don't Look Back.

18:00 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Runner-up on his last two outings at Lingfield, AL TARFA deserves a change in luck and this looks like as good an opportunity as any to break the maiden at the ninth time of asking. Hostelry arrives on a hat-trick and is likely to enter calculations, despite not having won on the all-weather, while Velvet Crush must be of interest on his handicap debut for esteemed connections. Always Fearless and Lunarscape are capable of being in the mix.

AL TARFA has only been beaten by one of the most progressive handicappers in the country on his last 2 outings and surely will take plenty of beating without a rival of that calibre in opposition this time. Hostelry is a really likeable mare and she should give another good account attempting to follow up from her Carlisle win, with the Gosdens' Velvet Crush also interesting on her handicap debut.

Having shaped well the last twice AL TARFA may be ready to land a first win. Hostelry can follow him home.

18:30 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

THE WAITING GAME is in the winning groove at present and it is difficult to see that stopping with the form she is in, despite an 8lb rise on this occasion. Two from two aboard, David Propert returning to the saddle is another plus and she should have too much for the likes of Kit Gabriel, who bounced back to winning ways with a strong performance at Wolverhampton last month, and Alpha Zulu.

It's hard to get away from THE WAITING GAME, who won with plenty in hand here last time. She can extend her winning run. Champagne Sarah and Kit Gabriel are feared most,

A further 8lb rise may not be enough to stop the thriving THE WAITING GAME as she had lots in hand over C&D last time and is well drawn.

19:00 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Despite being restless in the stalls, ARLECCHINO'S GIFT ran his best race for some time when narrowly denied over C&D recently, and compensation may await the four-year-old on this occasion. Sumac may still be a maiden though 11 starts, but he has shown plenty of ability on several outings this season, whereas course winner Bluebells Boy is one to note on the rise in distance.

BLUEBELLS BOY has managed to string several respectable efforts together recently and he appeals as the most solid proposition in a weak contest. Jumira Bridge hinted at a revival last time and has fallen to a tempting mark, whilst Arlecchino's Gift can also be involved if able to back up his C&D second.

In a race where very few arrive with compelling claims the suggestion is former C&D scorer BLUEBELLS BOY.

LTO Selection:

19:30 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Q TWENTY BOY bounced back to form when scoring over C&D last time and this looks a good opportunity to follow up that success. Mark Usher's runner has been raised 2lb for that win and that may be prove lenient. Fellow last-time-out winner Time Patrol is feared most after shedding his maiden tag on his handicap bow but he may find it tough to defy a 2lb rise for that head success, while Giddy Aunt heads the remainder.

Q TWENTY BOY took advantage of his reduced mark when scoring at this C&D 12 days ago and a 2 lb rise might not be enough to prevent him from following up. The main danger could be Time Patrol, who showed much improved form when getting off the mark at Windsor last time, with Giddy Aunt completing the shortlist.

The one to beat has to be TIME PATROL who overcame a wide draw to strike on his Windsor handicap debut and can progress further.

20:00 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This race seems to revolve around the performance of SO SLEEPY, who has the most solid form claims in this field and she may be tough to beat today. William Muir and Chris Grassick's charge was only just touched off over 5f at Lingfield last time and she can defy this 2lb rise in the ratings. Storm Melody can pose the biggest threat to the selection having been given a chance by the handicapper, with Next Second also noted.

SO SLEEPY is on a good mark and was unlucky not to win (met trouble) when runner-up at Lingfield last week, so she's a solid proposition in a thin race. Most of the others have something to prove but Storm Melody and Next Second could emerge as dangers.

This looks a good chance for SO SLEEPY to gain compensation for last week's Lingfield near miss.

LTO Selection:

20:30 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

An open-looking contest sees a chance taken on SHALFA to follow up his success over 1m 2f at Brighton last time. Lydia Richards' charge won in ready fashion on that occasion, scoring by three lengths, and she can defy this 5lb rise . Storymaker caught the eye when finishing with a flourish over the extended mile at Epsom last time and she will relish this extra yardage, while Angel Of Peace completes the shortlist.

A few with chances but ELSHAAMEQ is taken to gain a deserved breakthrough success on the back of his promising Newcastle third when not enjoying the rub of the green. Recent C&D scorer Angel Of Peace heads the list of dangers, although a good case can also be made for Brighton winner Shalfa and in-form maidens Storymaker and Pretty Peg.

Pretty Peg has untapped potential but TWILIGHT GUEST had a lot go wrong when second here in August and he can get off the mark.
