There were 30 Races on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 across 4 meetings. There was 8 races at Worcester, 7 races at Newmarket, 7 races at Navan, 8 races at Kempton, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

Having produced some cracking defeats at the highest level in novice company last season, WENDIGO makes grand appeal on his chase bow. The Challow Hurdle runner-up was last seen finishing a respectable fifth in the Albert Bartlett at the Cheltenham Festival and a similar performance in these calmer waters should suffice. Although a maiden in this discipline, the 134-rated Pic Roc should put his experience to good use and is feared most, ahead of Wade Out.

An interesting race as all of these reached a useful standard over hurdles, none more so than WENDIGO. Pic Roc is next best.
Class & Speed Card

Although unable to justify favouritism when runner-up at Huntingdon in February, Wotter Trotter was far from disgraced. The five-year-old looked to be biding his time over hurdles and cannot be taken lightly debuting over the larger obstacles. However, stable debutant ESCAPEANDEVADE has fallen to an attractive mark and looks just the sort that could be rejuvenated by a change of scenery. Harry Derham's charge edges the vote, while Chief Sunday and Highlands Legacy aren't easily dismissed either.

Strong traveller SOUTHOFTHEBORDER could be interesting back in trip and especially should he come on for his Fontwell run.
Class & Speed Card

The market could provide informative with seven of the eleven contenders making their racecourse bow, so only a tentative vote goes to REEM RAK. Roger Varian's filly changed hands for 60,000gns as a yearling and is related to a few Group winners. This looks a good starting point and she could make an instant impression. Athena's War is the pick of those with experience after showing a little more when fifth at Leicester earlier in the month. Guesstimate makes some appeal on paper and is noted too.

With the form standard far from daunting, the shortlist comprises newcomers REEM RAK, Laughterintherain and Churchill's Spirit.
Class & Speed Card

There was plenty to like about Glancing Jack's winning debut at Hereford last December and he must enter calculations with Ned Fox's claim negating the majority of a 7lb penalty. However, LEGENDARY LUKE looks a smart recruit to Rules after running out a cosy winner in his sole point-to-point in Ireland. The third boosted the form when placing at the last meeting here and the Soldier Of Fortune gelding may be able to cope with this drop in trip. Newcomers Yummy and Nice One Eric are others to watch in the market.

A few with chances. NICE ONE ERIC is marginally preferred over Yummy, with both representing yards that win plenty of bumpers.
Class & Speed Card

OCEAN'S BREATH could build upon a promising second behind a smart-looking winner over C&D a fortnight ago. He kept on well in the latter stages and there should be more to come from him with that experience banked. Michael's Well was another debutant who filled the runner-up berth, this time at Naas. He showed up well in the final furlong, which bodes well for this assignment. Final Boss ran on nicely for third in a Curragh maiden last week and ought to appreciate the stiff finish at this track, while Jessica Harrington's Klein Blue is a newcomer well worth a market check.

Recent C&D debut second OCEAN'S BREATH can go one better here if handling the softer ground
Class & Speed Card

Savvy Disko showed ability when third on debut at Newmarket earlier this month and could take a big leap forward to have a say, but the vote goes to CHAIN LINK. James Horton's youngster progressed from his first start to outrun his odds of 33/1 to hit the woodwork at Haydock last month and is likely to have more to offer. Major Neigh Sayer failed to justify favouritism when second at Newcastle, but he isn't one to write off.

Having shown his piece of promise over C&D, SAVVY DISKO gets the percentage call in quite an open contest.
Class & Speed Card

HERON IN THE PARK impressed when scoring from the reopposing There Runs Mary (second) at Newbury in March and she looks a bright prospect to be going over hurdles with. Tom George's mare may be 4lb worse off with the runner-up from that contest, but she can uphold that form with Harry Cobden retaining the ride. Thought good enough to contest a Grade 2 bumper at Aintree in April, Getawhisky looks to have plenty of potential in the sphere and cannot be ruled out.

If there's a really good one on show here it could be HERON IN THE PARK who has impressed in an Irish point and Newbury bumper.
Class & Speed Card

VELVET SKIES is on an appealing mark and has prospects of posting a third success. He dropped down to a rating of 60 in Dundalk last week and responded with a keeping-on third. It is worth noting that he ran on for third in a big-field handicap over 5f at this venue in April. Art Of Unity is a big player as he did well to win off a break, on his first start for a new stable, in Bellewstown at the start of the month. Nicola Burns takes 7lb off his back again. There is a race in Steel Magnolia, who was just pipped by Art Of Unity in Bellewstown.

Sixth over the minimum trip at the Curragh last week, STEEL MAGNOLIA should be suited by the extra yardage and gets the vote
Class & Speed Card

STUDY OF WORDS benefitted from the experience when fifth on debut to relish the step up in trip to fill the runner-up spot at Goodwood last month. Charlie Appleby's juvenile looks to have found a good opportunity to shed his maiden tag at the third time of asking. Sayedaati Saadati has improved with each of his three outings and the son of St Mark's Basilica has to be respected. Aussie Pearl can beat El Carrusel home for third.

Goodwood runner-up STUDY OF WORDS has the strongest claims and is taken to go one better. Aussie Pearl is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

A highly encouraging third on her hurdles debut at Ffos Las in April, WHITE NOISE is likely to have plenty of improvement forthcoming on the back of that performance. Caterpillar Girl caught the eye when easily scoring on her Rules debut at Warwick in May and she looks like an exciting prospect, as well as newcomer Sheezer Diva, who is well-related for leading connections.

This is weaker than division one. It looks significant that Harry Cobden rides CATERPILLAR GIRL when Paul Nicholls has a runner.
Class & Speed Card

TERTRE ROUGE has the form to be a leading contender in this sprint maiden. Gavin Cromwell's charge ran fourth on debut in what has turned out to be an above-average maiden at Tipperary. He wasn't outclassed when fourth at a big price in Listed company at the Curragh and although he didn't feature at the same level at Fairyhouse, he should appreciate these calmer waters. Bad Boy Rizz and Ennoble are closely matched on ratings and on form at Cork, where runner-up Bad Boy Rizz was a neck in front of Ennoble in third. The two jockeys (Colin Keane and Dylan Browne McMonagle) duelling for the riding title partner them to add extra spice to this contest.

The experience gained in running in two Listed races may give TERTRE ROUGE an edge over Ennoble and Big Bad Rizz
Class & Speed Card

Although he performed with credit on his latest third at Newbury, Bourbon Blues may need some improvement to defy an official rating of 97 on his nursery bow. The Space Blues gelding could benefit from today's extra quarter-mile distance, but last-time-out winners Commanding Officer and EXPLOSION are more compelling. Preference is for the latter, who completed a double at Chelmsford 34 days ago with real authority and an 8lb rise looks surmountable.

Hat-trick seeker EXPLOSION gets the narrow vote ahead of Commanding Officer and Crystal Pier.
Class & Speed Card

A major improver for a second wind surgery when scoring easily in a conditional jockeys' event at Carlisle last week, the handicapper is unlikely to be forgiving to KING ULANDA and this looks an excellent opportunity to back that effort up. Back to form with a highly creditable second over C&D most recently, Douglas Dc is entitled to be thereabouts again, along with Stroll On By, who is best judged on his penultimate second at Uttoxeter. Completing the shortlist are the likes of Farhh Echo, French Emperor and Lucky Bere.

If in the same form as last week when hosing up at Carlisle then KING ULANDA will take some beating off the same mark.
Class & Speed Card

LUNIGIANA handles plenty of cut and perhaps the first-time visor will help her make the breakthrough. She has made the frame in seven of her 10 starts and her best performance this campaign came on rain-softened ground over 6f in the Curragh, where she was beaten a neck into second. Glory To Be has a similar profile in being placed in five of her seven races. She is rated 4lb inferior to Lunigiana, but is likely to be heavily involved in the distribution of prize money. Edmond Halley is a possible improver with Dylan Browne McMonagle booked again. The ground is an unknown for Bint Elnadim Star, but she does have a second in Windsor for her former stable.

A maiden which won't take much winning and the first-time visored LUNIGIANA (nap) is taken to reverse recent form with Glory To Be
Class & Speed Card

Having supplemented a fine second in a competitive handicap at York with a third career victory at Southwell last month, MAYBE NOT could still be a step ahead of the assessor. The daughter of Pinatubo scored on her sole outing over 1m and she edges the vote over Orangesandlemons. Ed Bethell's filly arrives on the back of a career-best victory at Nottingham and isn't taken lightly, while fellow last-time-out winners Silent City and Naga add further spice to the mix.

The vote goes to last-time C&D scorer SILENT CITY, ahead of solid contenders Maybe Not and Orangesandlemons.
Class & Speed Card

Glance Of Glory showed a nice amount of improvement to get off the mark over track and trip last month and an opening mark of 103 looks workable. Point-to-point winner Taymount is an interesting contender on handicap debut, but ORDER OF THE DANCE gets the nod. David Pipe's charge made every yard of the running in a first-time tongue-tie to score at Ffos Las on Thursday and is quickly turned out under a 7lb penalty. If in similar form, he will prove hard to beat.

The lightly raced ORDER OF THE DANCE (nap) made an excellent start for David Pipe when making all at Ffos Las and can follow up.
Class & Speed Card

MICKEY THE STEEL is a stone lower than when winning this 12 months ago and looks capable of striking off his current rating after a couple of decent runs. He stayed on to finish fourth at the Curragh six days ago in a strongly-run race over this trip and the stiff finish here will help. Top-weight Amicitia won over course and distance early last month and ran a solid race subsequently when third over 6f at Cork. She went up another 2lb for that effort so it's no surprise that connections claim off her now. Four-timer course and distance winner Step Back In Time won here a fortnight ago but faces a stiffer task now after an 8lb hike.

Last year's winner MICKEY THE STEEL is a stone lower in the ratings and has shown definite signs of a return to form recently.
Class & Speed Card

PRIESTESS may have disappointed when favourite on her most recent outing over further at Wolverhampton, but she is much better judged on her penultimate success at Southwell over this distance. Tom Ward's filly can bounce back to winning ways at the main expense of American Flight, who showed up well when second on her nursery debut at Chelmsford last week. Espona Bay is having his first run after a gelding operation and completes the shortlist with Dark Mandate.

Lelosaja and Solar Invincible are potential improvers now handicapping but so too is ENTER SANDMAN and he gets the verdict.
Class & Speed Card

Superior Choice cost a whopping 1,100,000gns as a yearling and the beautifully-bred son of Dubawi has to be monitored in the betting on debut. However, POETRY OF TIME finished over five lengths clear of the third when hitting the crossbar at Salisbury earlier this month, shaping as if this extra furlong would suit. William Haggas' colt could take another step forward and looks the one to beat. Any market confidence behind newcomer Waves Of The Sea would be interesting.

1,100,000gns yearling SUPERIOR CHOICE has an excellent pedigree and earns the vote on his debut. Poetry Of Time is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

Icaque de L'Isle was victorious in heavy conditions at Lingfield when last seen in February and needs considering on his return to the fray. However, PERTEMPS DIAMOND proved a different proposition stepping into the handicaps ranks when successful at Fontwell in August and is now 8lb higher. This represents just his second start for the Olly Murphy stable and he looks the way to go. Sun Joy takes a drop in grade and is another to consider.

The lightly raced 6yo PERTEMPS DIAMOND won at Fontwell in August and is taken to make it 2-2 in handicaps.
Class & Speed Card

MARAZION has been knocking on the door and can get her head in front now. The Sea The Stars filly reportedly got unbalanced on the bends at Killarney last time but ran a solid race to finish third to Gifted. This more galloping track should suit better and going up in trip could also be a plus. Wayne Lordan partners Lord Byron from the Ballydoyle pair. He shaped with promise when fifth on his sole outing last year but has a lengthy absence to overcome. Icare Desbois ran a solid race on his first outing for Harry Kelly when third behind easy winner Seo Linn in Killarney and is another that has to come into calculations.

bMarazion\p is the percentage call but it may pay to side with the long-absent LORD BYRON, an eycatcher on his sole 2yo start
Class & Speed Card

Trainer David Menuisier looks to hold a strong hand in this contest with Sandown debut third Get This In and AERIAL SILK, who has the services of David Egan to call upon on this occasion. Preference is for the latter, who was a shade unlucky at Haydock last month when short of room at a crucial stage before staying on well to be beaten half-a-length in third. Not in action since a promising debut at Sandown in June, Deported is another to note, as well as Newcastle second Power For Power.

Several potential improvers, as well as some interesting newcomers, but AERIAL SILK looks the answer after two promising turf runs.
Class & Speed Card

The hat-trick seeking Quiescent is bound to attract plenty of support, especially with her latest victory coming over C&D. However, a 5lb rise might open the door for DARK SHORE. The son of Dark Angel has been gelded since his third over a mile here last month and was kindly dropped 1lb. The drop back a furlong in trip and booking of William Buick gives him plenty of appeal. Romantic Twilight carries a 6lb penalty for her Yarmouth success, but would be foolish to dismiss.

Back down in trip, DARK SHORE (nap) is well worth another chance. Hat-trick seeker Quiescent is feared most.
Class & Speed Card

BYNX has run well on her last couple of outings on the level and may be able to strike now in an open-looking contest. The Vadamos mare ran on well to finish third over 2m at Thurles on her last outing and had also filled the same position over course and distance in late August. Her stamina will be an asset in testing conditions. Daymer Bay couldn't lay a glove on Nancee Spain at Roscommon recently but it was still a decent effort to finish runner-up and he could get closer now. Viceregent was half-a-length behind Daymer Bay last time and is another to consider.

A chance is taken on GAMIGIN, who was left with plenty to do at Bellewstown last time and can reverse form with Numidia
Class & Speed Card

Having opened his account after a 405-day layoff at Ffos Las in July, Conscript must enter calculations on his follow-up bid. However, a 7lb penalty will make life tougher for the Clive Cox-trained gelding and HIT SQUAD is slightly more appealing. The son of Kameko found only subsequent Irish 2,000 Guineas runner-up Cosmic Year too strong on his debut over C&D in April and should have a bright future. Market support for newcomer Fight Your Corner would be interesting.

Hit Squad shaped well over C&D in April but the form of CONSCRIPT's turf win in July has worked out and he can defy a penalty.
Class & Speed Card

PREVIOUS made light work of the opposition when making a winning nursery bow at Southwell earlier this month and there may be more to come. Although the assessor has reacted in kind with a 9lb hike in the ratings, another bold bid is forecast from Kevin Philippart De Foy's filly. Wild Dahlia gained a breakthrough victory at the third time of asking at Chelmsford and she's feared most, ahead of What's The Plan.

Having pulled it out of the fire at Chelmsford last time, WILD DAHLIA is taken to make a winning nursery debut.
Class & Speed Card

Love Your Work was well found in the market when scoring over C&D at the start of this month and a 4lb higher mark shouldn't prevent him from giving another good account. Born A Rebel and Waistcoat are other key players judged on their latest efforts and neither can be easily dismissed. However, it could be worth taking a punt on DARK ROSA, who finished behind the latter in fourth here 12 days ago, but is a potential improver stepping up further in distance.

There can be no excuses for MOUTAI (nap) tonight who has been gifted the rail draw for this easier assignment.
Class & Speed Card

Several of these are progressing nicely and may still be a step ahead of the handicapper, with a tentative vote going to SARAB STAR. Jack Channon's colt improved for a step up in trip when scoring over 7f here in August and an official rating of 88 on his handicap bow looks workable. Blue Rc isn't taken lightly, although a bigger threat may emerge from Estmrar, who scored with something in hand at Chelmsford last time.

James Tate's BLUE RC has been quietly progressive and could have an even bigger performance in him.
Class & Speed Card

Artisan Dancer found himself with too much to do when finishing fifth at Chester last month and his previous efforts in defeat suggest that he's capable of playing a leading role. However, reopposing second PRYDWEN, a six-time winner on the all-weather, looked close to his best that day and a similar performance is likely to make him tough to beat. Quadruple C&D winner Duke Of Oxford is also worth a second look.

Given he has stamina on both sides of his pedigree, DRAMATIC STAR should relish stepping up to 2m.
Class & Speed Card

Having justified strong support in the market to score over track and trip recently, Dream Of Mischief is dangerous to dismiss off just 3lb higher. However, KIT GABRIEL made a winning stable bow over C&D 21 days ago with something in hand and a 4lb rise may prove more lenient. Stable debutant Hunky Dory and King Of Ithaca are others of interest at this level.

A 3lb rise underestimates DREAM OF MISCHIEF's superiority in winning over C&D 12 days ago. He can follow up.
Ths is the racecard key.
