There were 45 Races on Saturday 25th October 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 8 races at Newbury, 7 races at Cheltenham, 8 races at Doncaster, 7 races at Kelso, 7 races at Galway, 8 races at Wolverhampton, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

EXPRESSIONLESS hit the front a couple of furlongs out when he came through to win over 1m6f at Nottingham 23 days ago and is an appealing option bidding to follow up off just 2lb higher. Cutting back in trip shouldn't be an issue and another bold bid looks assured if he handles the forecast slower ground. Recent Haydock winner Letmebetheboss has a similar profile and also warrants close inspection. Made All and Dr Waksman are other attractive propositions.

The runners to concentrate on may be LETMEBETHEBOSS, Made All (second choice), Nivelle's Magic and Expressionless.
Class & Speed Card

CREST OF FORTUNE proved to be very consistent over hurdles, with his best run coming on his final start when third in the Sefton at Aintree, and the five-year-old appeals as the type to progress now sent chasing. Double Powerful completed a six-timer over the smaller obstacles here last November and continued to improve with a string of placed efforts in competitive handicaps. Newton Tornado is another with solid credentials on his first attempt over fences, while West Away and Zurich are respected most of the Irish challenge.

Having stayed on strongly for second over an inadequate 2m on her chase debut at Worcester, SPRINGS A GIRL can go one better now at 2m4f
Class & Speed Card

Proof relished heavy ground when successfully reverted to the minimum distance at Ffos Last most recently. The son of Zoustar turned that race into a procession and should be a key player if stepping back up to 6f doesn't detract from his finishing kick here. Nevertheless, he was well held by the third-placed BETTER AND BETTER when he finished last in a four-runner event over this trip at Ascot in July and Adrian Keatley's youngster looks good value to uphold that form. Nottingham winner Kesta completes the shortlist.

The likeable Kesta should give it another good shot but preference is for PROOF (nap), who sluiced on up on heavy last time.
Class & Speed Card

JER BATT missed out by only a head when runner-up in last year's renewal and, 4lb lower this time, the five-year-old could well go one better with Oisin Murphy back in the plate. Rosario placed in the Portland here prior to finishing second at Ascot and remains of interest off his current mark, while Woolhampton faced a tougher test in Listed company last time and could make her presence felt back at this level. Trilby and Vintage Clarets are others worthy of a second look.

A 1lb rise for his excellent Haydock second eight days ago may not prevent TRILBY (nap) from making it 3-3 on heavy ground.
Class & Speed Card

Placed on each of his three starts over hurdles, HE'S BRESILIAN brings a consistent level of form to the table, which may be good enough to see him get off the mark in a winnable contest. Runner-up at Carlisle when last seen in March, Eagles Reprieve has plenty of potential on his return, as does Sanilam, who makes his hurdles debut after a respectable fifth in a Perth bumper back in April. Kadjar Des Mottes and Smoke Trail may also have a say in proceedings.

Placed on all three hurdling starts last season, HE'S BRESILIAN might get his head in front this time.
Class & Speed Card

Pour Les Filles got off the mark over timber at Downpatrick and backs up quickly considering his profile of appearing to need plenty of time between his races. With that in mind, it might pay to to follow MINELLA SUPREME. John McConnell has a fine record at the October meeting and the five-year-old made amends for falling on his hurdling bow when scoring at Kilbeggan. Conman John made a winning start to his hurdling career at Kelso and is expected to appreciate stepping up in trip. Keep an eye on Catchintsavo, who finished ahead of Conman John when third in a bumper at the Punchestown Festival.

The suggestion is CATCHINTSAVO who could well show good progress switched to hurdles. Conman John is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

KIBRIS holds a mark of 89 on the Flat and transitioned to flights with a runner-up berth at Cork. He should have a future in this discipline and is taken to go one better. Crooked Path finished second at Gowran Park before finishing fourth behind the selection last time which entitles him to get into the mix. Whats New has shown ability over hurdles, but ran out when last seen in this sphere at Gowran Park three weeks ago. In The Minus has enough form to suggest that he is likely to be competitive once again.

Quite novicey on hurdling debut at Cork, nonetheless KIBRIS (nap) showed enough to suggest he'll be hard to beat given that experience
Class & Speed Card

SENORITA VEGA was a very comfortable winner over C&D before she was pitched into the Oh So Sharp Stakes at Newmarket 15 days ago. Her third-placed finish in that Group 3 event is a solid piece of from and the Tom Dascombe-trained filly is readily suggested as the one to be with back here. Caim and Leading Dancer have fewer miles on the clock and could be progressive enough to fill the places behind the selection.

Senorita Vega sets the standard but LEADING DANCER, Caim and Passing Thought look promising.
Class & Speed Card

Aidan O'Brien bids to win this for the 12th time, with HAWK MOUNTAIN preferred of his three representatives. The Beresford Stakes at the Curragh has provided plenty of recent winners of this contest and the son of Wootton Bassett made all when returning the impressive winner of that Group 2 at the Curragh. Stablemate Benvenuto Cellini struck at Leopardstown on Irish Champions Weekend and makes more appeal than Action. Champagne Stakes runner-up Oxagon appears likely to be suited by an extra furlong and isn't discounted lightly.

Having taken the eye when kicking clear at Leopardstown, BENVENUTO CELLINI is preferred ahead of stablemate Hawk Mountain.
Class & Speed Card

This can go the way of GOLDEN POINT, who was last seen finishing a respectable fifth in a Listed mares' novice hurdle at Doncaster in March. A winner at Ayr in January, the six-year-old could be made for chasing and this looks like a good starting point. Now in the hands of Dan Skelton after undergoing wind surgery since being well beaten here in April, Diamond Dealer must be of interest, along with My Lady Elektra, who makes her chase debut after a close-up third over further here in May.

This can go COSMIC BLIZZARD who won four times when sent back pointing earlier in the year and shaped with promise on his stable debut.
Class & Speed Card

Hyland enjoyed a solid first season over fences before finding the Grand National a step too far. Although he won on this card 12 months ago, the forecast rain and him possibly needing the run ahead of his potential first big target at Newbury next month temper enthusiasm. Rock My Way was runner-up in the National Hunt Chase when having Transmission behind in fifth and the pair are likely to make their presence felt, especially the former after a wind operation. The vote, though, goes to last year's runner-up THE SHORT GO. Things didn't quite go to plan after that, but his fifth in the Ultima was a fair effort considering his jumping let him down and the yard bids for a third consecutive victory in the contest.

On another day THE SHORT GO (nap) might have beaten a stablemate in this 12 months ago. This may have been the plan for some time.
Class & Speed Card

L' EVANGELISTE showed up well when runner-up on hurdling debut at Listowel. He got to within two lengths of the odds-on favourite who had previously finished second in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival. Mullaghgloss landed a bumper at this track and is one to note ahead of his jumping bow, while the well-related Fatal Flaw is returning from a long absence but is more than capable of a good run. Campbell Black was backed off the boards ahead of his debut at Downpatrick and finished well off the winner in third. It will be interesting to see if the same support arrives. Walking In Mayo, who hacked up in a point-to-point in March, is another for a market check.

Despite a long absence, FATAL FLAW could take plenty of beating on his return to action
Class & Speed Card

Sir Mark Prescott introduces ALPINARA, a 2.500,000gns full-sister to the yard's Arc heroine Alpinista. The Frankel filly may well prove good enough at the first time of asking and is taken to edge out My Ophelia. The latter includes former stablemate and Group 2 winner My Prospero among her winning relatives, while the Dubawi progeny Queen's Companion represents last year's winning trainer and could improve from her recent debut fourth at Salisbury.

The Verdict comprises the very interesting newcomers ALPINARA, My Ophelia and Peerless Spirit who all look potentially smart.
Class & Speed Card

LAM YAI continued on her upward curve when narrowly beaten in a Group 3 at Ayr. Well clear of the rest on that occasion, Karl Burke's filly is at home on testing ground and looks likely to launch another bold bid. Boston Dan found only one too good in Listed company at York a fortnight ago and enters calculations, while the less-exposed maiden winner Spanish Waltz could prove competitive in this higher grade with underfoot conditions in his favour.

A repeat of the form LAM YAI produced when second in a 6f Ayr Group 3 last month would make her tough to beat.
Class & Speed Card

Now that the penny has dropped for DIAMOND MIX after a determined success at Hexham in April, the six-year-old is likely to have plenty more improvement forthcoming and he can follow up off 5lb higher. Chase A Fortune went well for a long way on his return at Sedgefield before weakening two out and he should come on for that run. Too Cool Forshrule was a highly creditable second on his first start for new connections at Hexham.

In a tricky race DIAMOND MIX is taken to follow up his breakthrough success at Hexham on his final start last season.
Class & Speed Card

Gordon Elliott landed this contest last year with a progressive type and he looks to have a similar sort on his hands in the shape of WINNING SMUT, who was impressive at Galway. An 11lb rise might prove lenient and he is narrowly preferred to Long Draw, who has scored on his last two visits to Cheltenham. A taking winner on his first start for the Dan Skelton team at Newton Abbot, Prince Zaltar is of interest on the step back up in trip, as is Chance Another One, who goes back hurdling after a comfortable success over the larger obstacles at Ballinrobe. Others to note include Chart Topper, Ma Shantou and Moon D'orange.

In a hot race the vote goes to LONG DRAW, who won twice here last season and did not have the race run to suit at Haydock in May.
Class & Speed Card

SHUTTLE DIPLOMACY has some strong bumper form in the book ahead of his hurdling debut. He was impressive in winning a Listed bumper at Limerick last year and was also third in the Champion Bumper at this year's Cheltenham Festival. King's Bucks landed a decent point-to-point at Ballindenisk in December last year and is of interest. He has been out once since then when runner-up in a Gowran Park bumper in March, but could come into his own jumping flights. Barry Connell's Eachtotheirown showed his talent in posting a couple of runner-up berths in bumpers, while Firebrand, Centreofattention and Treasure Memory will have their supporters.

SHUTTLE DIPLOMACY was bitterly disappointing when last seen but he is better than that and he could be hard to beat if at his best here
Class & Speed Card

Below par on testing ground in Group 1 company last time, the Listed winner Time To Turn could bounce back at this level. Stellar Sunrise competes on slow going for the first time after landing a competitive nursery at York in fine style, but a chance is taken PANDEMONIUM copes with this step up in class. The son of No Nay Never remains unbeaten, having returned the facile winner at Redcar last time, and his yard won this with a similar type in 2022.

Promising PANDEMONIUM has a much more interesting chance than bare ratings suggest and is first choice ahead of improving Wechaad.
Class & Speed Card

Colori Forever made a promising start when winning at Yarmouth before running with plenty of credit in a valuable sales race at Newmarket. An opening mark of 84 looks more than fair, but whether he handles testing ground or not is another matter. CHAPTER has no such worries following his nursery success at Salisbury, which came on heavy ground, and a 3lb rise is unlikely to stop him from progressing. Art Lover shaped at Kempton as though an extra furlong would benefit him and he appeals most of the remainder.

Preference is for CHAPTER, who won on heavy ground on last month's nursery debut at Salisbury and is taken to follow up.
Class & Speed Card

It could pay to stick with HEART ABOVE, given Dianne Sayer's charge usually saves his best for this track. He returned the ready winner over a longer trip here last month and Charlie Maggs' allowance negates most of a 6lb rise. Star Of Guiting placed at Ludlow when last in action in May and debuts for his new yard with a shout, while Two Auld Pals' stable has won the last two renewals and he could shape well back over timber.

A chance is taken on the unexposed ROSSBRIDGE, who was far from disgraced after a long break at Perth last time.
Class & Speed Card

GIVE IT TO ME OJ landed a valuable handicap hurdle on the final day of last season at Sandown and looks like an exciting prospect. He should be primed for this assignment after a double on the Flat at Epsom last month and may have too much quality for Hamlet's Night, who has improved with each jumping start and was impressive in scoring at Warwick. French recruit Loriko showed promise on his British debut when third at Uttoxeter and improvement is likely, despite the step up in class.

This is all about GIVE IT TO ME OJ who was fourth in a Grade 1 last season and later beat his elders under a big weight at Sandown.
Class & Speed Card

WATERFORD WHISPERS and Will The Wise are both rated 130 and hold strong claims, with preference for the former. He has a second place in a beginners' chase at Navan behind a subsequent Grade 2 winner in the book and should be all the sharper from a seasonal reappearance fourth at Listowel. Will The Wise is a significant threat after just being collared in the closing stages over C&D this month. He has won a point-to-point, a bumper and two hurdle races. Pure Steel is a point-to-point winner who is sent over fences after landing a maiden hurdle at Cork in January, while Come Walk With Me and Prends Garde A Toi are chasing debutants with plenty of hurdle form.

Better for his Listowel comeback run WATERFORD WHISPERS can account for recent C&D second Will The Wise
Class & Speed Card

ANCIENT WISDOM steps back up in distance with a leading chance. He won a Group 3 over 1m5f at Newmarket last season and Charlie Appleby's charge looks primed to run a big race here off the back of last month's neck defeat over 1m2f at Goodwood. The old trooper Hamish is not out of this if back to his best, having beaten Mount Atlas at Chester last month, while the former's stablemate Al Aasy could also prove competitive. Starzintheireyes remains unexposed but has plenty to find with the selection.

Ancient Wisdom beat the reappearing STARZINTHEIREYES last month but the latter shaped as a 2yo as if he's tailormade for this test.
Class & Speed Card

Valvano bounced back from a poor effort at Epsom when third at Yarmouth and the drop in trip looks an interesting move, with this being his first appearance over a mile since finishing second to subsequent 2000 Guineas winner Notable Speech at Kempton in April 2024. Walsingham is unbeaten this year and should remain competitive after a 3lb rise for his Ascot success. However, the less-exposed HIGH DEGREE may prove to be the answer, with the son of Too Darn Hot having every chance of taking advantage of an ease in grade.

Valvano is interesting back at 1m but preference is for lightly raced William Haggas 3yo HIGH DEGREE.
Class & Speed Card

The veteran Elvis Mail has won the last two renewals and cannot be ruled out with any confidence. He should confirm running with last year's second Famous Bridge, but OLIVERS TRAVELS could prove a tougher nut to crack. Mickey Bowen's progressive chaser followed his convincing win at Cartmel with an even better effort when scoring easily at Uttoxeter last month and the hat-trick beckons. Snipe is back up in trip and may prove best of the rest.

Second-season chaser CADELL (nap) gets the vote ahead of stablemate Whistle Stop Tour.
Class & Speed Card

Jockey bookings suggest that Pied Piper is probably the pick of Gordon Elliott's two entrants, while Galway winner Intense Approach and Baltic Bird enhance the possibility of an Irish-trained winner emerging. However, LEAVE OF ABSENCE looks a fair prospect for staying events in this discipline and the lightly-raced eight-year-old could be tough to deal with if replicating the dominant effort he posted at Newbury when last seen.

His one run at about 3m was underwhelming but ANYWAY shaped like a stayer when second over shorter at last season's Festival.
Class & Speed Card

SPORTINTHEPARK could be on a nice mark back over hurdles on his seasonal debut. The Noel Meade-trained gelding was impressive around here when winning a rated novice chase on this card last year. He wasn't disgraced in a Grade 2 subsequently and a mark of 120 could be lenient in this sphere. Grann's Boy arrives in fine form and has to be respected. He has won three of his last four and was unlucky here on the other outing, getting a bump early and also making a mistake which knocked him back. Rue Taylor showed improvement when winning at Wexford and is another to consider.

Perhaps MAKE GOOD can transfer his good recent Flat form to hurdles here, having been a Grade 2 Cheltenham winner in earlier days
Class & Speed Card

An intriguing novice stakes with plenty of blue bloods to choose from. It can pay to side with the experience of THANKFULLY, though, who showed plenty of promise on her debut at Sandown over 7f when running on well for third late in the piece. With improvement likely over further, she is preferred over newcomer Avarona, who is a half-sister to a Listed winner and hails from the yard that won this contest last year. Bred in the purple, being related to stable stalwart Al Aasy, Hoseki must also enter calculations.

The most appealing contenders are form pick THANKFULLY and particularly interesting debutante A La Prochaine.
Class & Speed Card

EL BURHAN benefited from cut in the ground when producing a career-best effort at Ayr last time and the son of New Bay makes plenty of appeal once again, despite a 6lb rise from the handicapper. Alpha Crucis has run well on his last couple of starts and Ashley Lewis' 5lb allowance is likely to aid his cause. Others to consider include Fantasy Believer, who won over C&D on his penultimate appearance, and Crowd Quake.

The 3yo EL BURHAN was a rejuvenated winner at Ayr and could still have more left in the tank. He's the pick ahead of Alpha Crucis.
Class & Speed Card

Rare Edition goes particularly well fresh and may well have more to offer on just his fifth start over the larger obstacles. Aeros Luck has struggled since winning at Punchestown in June, but a change of scenery could just freshen him up. However, it is difficult to ignore the credentials of THISTLE ASK. Now in the care of Dan Skelton, he went up 7lb for his Musselburgh victory in February and the lightly-raced gelding appears likely to have further improvement to come.

The most interesting contenders are the southern raiders RARE EDITION (narrowly preferred) and Thistle Ask.
Class & Speed Card

CHICKER looked a decent prospect when he quickened up nicely to win cosily on his introduction at Worcester in August. The Fergal O'Brien-trained four-year-old picks up a 4lb penalty and will need to raise his game, but that was a very promising display and he readily looks the pick of those with experience. Le Beau Madrik, Bells Grove and Collanisi are all works in progress and warrant betting checks, while Antarctic Legend is an attractively-bred newcomer to bear in mind.

One of two to sprint clear of the others when second in a fairly valuable Plumpton bumper in April, LE BEAU MADRIK gets the nod.
Class & Speed Card

GERRYS WISH ran a big race when stepped up in trip at Perth last month and looks capable of taking a prize of this standard off her current mark. The El Salvador filly lost out by a neck in a tight three-way finish and still looks relatively unexposed. Johnny Cakes was in good form when last seen and might be a danger on his return. He got going a bit too late in Kilbeggan in April and is only 1lb higher now. The well-bred Love Bite gained an important win at Tipperary earlier this month and could be competitive again, despite a 6lb rise.

THE EGGLER shaped like this trip would suit here on his penultimate start so a chance is taken on him rebounding from a poor run latest
Class & Speed Card

ATHERSTONE WARRIOR looked to be a gelding well ahead of the assessor when easily scoring at Sandown last month. A 10lb rise for that success may not be enough to prevent him from landing the double. Similar comments apply to Northwest Passage after his demolition job in heavy ground at Salisbury last month, while C&D winner King Al looks to go one better than his narrow defeat at Nottingham most recently. Others to note include Alcaraz, Jannas Journey and Miletus.

This looks competitive, even if the ground is seriously testing. KING AL in first-time headgear edges the vote from Arcturus Flame.
Class & Speed Card

EASTERN VEIL will have learnt plenty from her recent debut over 7f at Southwell. Andrew Balding's filly is a half-sister to a winner over a mile, so this extra yardage should prove within her compass. Make Her Believe showed a big improvement when fourth over C&D last time and has to be respected, while Leicester runner-up Emma's Letter is another worthy of consideration.

Eastern Veil looks a likely big improver but EMMA'S LETTER is taken to build on the promise of her fast-finishing Leicester second.
Class & Speed Card

Dwindling Funds is effective on a galloping track, which is a key factor as he bids to complete a hat-trick. However, a 7lb rise demands another personal best and, with that in mind, fellow last-time winner RAINBOW NEBULA shades preference. This is just his third start in a handicap and, given there was give underfoot when he struck at Ascot, the forecast may help draw further improvement. Rajapour and Tactical Plan are better than recent efforts and also warrant consideration.

On The River has possibilities but DWINDLING FUNDS may be able to make it seven for the year after another excellent win last time.
Class & Speed Card

Lucky Manifest has shown a tendency to hang left, but that didn't stop him from recording his first victory here in May. The five-year-old commands respect on his handicap debut, but the vote goes to REMEMBERTHENAME. Placed in a couple of maiden hurdles at Ballinrobe during the summer, an opening mark of 104 might underestimate him on his first start for Sandy Thomson. Perth winner Lets Mingle is another capable of being in the mix.

This can go to LUCKY MANIFEST, who won over 2m4f here in May and should relish this longer trip on this handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

ZEUS POWER ran a big race on his debut here earlier in the month and can go one better now. The Protectionist gelding was prominent throughout and a touch green late on when hanging left in the straight. He had a couple of today's rivals behind and should improve from the experience. Jet Renegade ran well in third, but probably doesn't have as much improvement in him. Poet's Gale ran nicely in fifth that day and may be able to play a bigger part now. Leonard Vallis, runner-up over hurdles on his debut at Gowran just over three weeks ago, is another who has to come into calculations.

PREMIER ROGUE is taken to confirm Punchestown form with Shabra Diya and get his head in front with Harry Swan up for the first time
Class & Speed Card

CHAMPAGNE DREAM finished third in a maiden race over C&D last time. The fourth has subsequently franked that form and, with Taryn Langley also taking 5lb off his back for this nursery debut, he could prove the one to side with. Fanjove returns to 7f with a shout on the evidence of last month's emphatic win at Newcastle, while Vintage Heat is usually in the mix at this level and is preferred to Sunshine And Roses.

This looks an open event but SUNSHINE AND ROSES is well drawn for one who can lead and she shouldn't be troubled by the drop in trip.
Class & Speed Card

The consistent Ey Up Its Jazz filled the runner-up slot in this race 12 months ago and can go well again, despite running off 7lb higher. Ffos Las winner Golden Pharaoh also boasts solid credentials, with deep ground not an issue. However, MYSTERYOFTHESANDS is versatile regarding underfoot conditions and having finished second on his only previous run over C&D - in the first division last year - the Tim Easterby-trained gelding could provide a bit of value. Wobwobwob and Catalyse also command respect.

The return to slow ground could be a positive for the 3yo BRIGHT TIMES AHEAD and she's taken to return to winning ways.
Class & Speed Card

EDUCATING RITA found plenty for pressure when third at Musselburgh on her first attempt at 7f. Michael Dods' filly takes a marked drop in class for this all-weather debut and a bold bid is anticipated. Golden Thorn arrives in fine fettle having found only one too good over a mile at Southwell last time, but Soho Square is less exposed and will be sharper for a recent second at the latter track.

This could go to SOHO SQUARE, who ran well after a short break on her yard debut at Southwell last time. Ocean Treaty is next best.
Class & Speed Card

MC'TED exploited a lenient mark to make a winning debut for Martin Dunne over an extended 1m1f here 12 days ago. That was before he notched a more comprehensive success over 1m2f at Brighton last week. With Alice Bond retaining the ride, the revitalised seven-year-old is on a roll and hard to ignore, despite an 8lb rise. With several others struggling to find their form, Super Hit, Eden Storm and King Of Speed could fight it out for the minor honours.

The suggestion is DUCA DI LUCCA who isn't fully exposed and has been shaping as though the step up in trip could suit.
Class & Speed Card

Nicky Henderson has an excellent knack of placing his runners on the Flat to good effect and the versatile GOBLET OF FIRE, who has won three of his six previous starts on the all-weather, looks highly capable of enhancing the positive statistics. The in-form Sax Appeal is the most obvious danger, although he may find it tough to concede weight to the selection, despite Archie Young's 5lb claim being an asset on that level. Barenboim and Fleurman are the pick of the remainder.

The vote goes to SAX APPEAL who is proving so consistent and may well enjoy the run of the race.
Class & Speed Card

VINCE LOMBARDI did it well when scoring comfortably over C&D last time out and he looks more than capable of following up off 3lb higher, despite having to overcome a wide draw. Dropping back in trip after winning over 7f at Musselburgh most recently, Carlton And Co must be considered off a 3lb higher mark, as well as Flowstate, who was narrowly denied at Redcar last week. Macarone and Sioux Warrior are likely to be thereabouts as well.

The vote goes to CARLTON AND CO (nap) who is 2lb lower than when runner-up on her last AW start a year ago.
Class & Speed Card

Runner-up up to a subsequent winner when narrowly denied over slightly further at Chelmsford last time out, BETA READER can strike at a track where he scored in March. A promising second over shorter here on Monday, Echo Of Glory should have plenty more to come over further and he is a key player, along with Beachborough Girl, who was narrowly denied over this distance at Lingfield recently.

The one who appeals most is BETA READER, a close second to a subsequent winner at Chelmsford last time. He can overcome a 2lb rise.
Class & Speed Card

HINT OF HUMOUR is in the form of his life at present and a further 3lb rise for his most recent success over C&D earlier in the month could prove lenient as she aims to land the hat-trick. That may be at the main expense of Silky Robin, who has already won four times this year and wasn't beaten far over track and trip recently when third. Redcar winner Storm Call and Invincible Crown complete the shortlist.

The choice is PHOENIX BEACH who has to be of interest given his fine record over C&D. He is 1lb below his last winning mark.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
