There were 44 Races on Saturday 9th November 2024 across 6 meetings. There was 6 races at Kelso, 7 races at Doncaster, 8 races at Gowran Park, 7 races at Aintree, 7 races at Wincanton, 9 races at Chelmsford-City, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.

A comfortable winner of his last two starts in bumpers here, DEDICATED HERO looks just the type who could excel over hurdles this season and, as a former point-to-pointer, stepping up in trip should not inconvenience him. Runner-up on each of his last four starts, including over 2m here a couple of weeks ago, Tommys Law brings plenty of experience to the table, while French recruit Bel Amigo should be monitored for market support ahead of his debut for Nick Alexander.

BEL AMIGO sets a clear standard setting out for a new yard based on his French form, so has to be considered the one to beat on his UK debut. Dedicated Hero is an interesting rival given he's a dual bumper winner at this track and rates the main threat ahead of Tommys Law.

Sandy Thomson's DEDICATED HERO has looked a nice prospect in winning two bumpers here.

CHASE A FORTUNE may have ground to make up on Trac from two runs in the spring, but he remains unexposed in this sphere and his return at Sedgefield last month was very encouraging. The six-year-old remains on a workable mark and he is preferred to Carlisle second Fia Fuinidh, as well as dual C&D winner Gold Des Bois, who was runner-up over track and trip last time out. Bollingerandkrug is 7lb lower than when landing this contest last year so must not be ruled out either.

GOLD DES BOIS did enough on his first start for Sandy Thomson here a fortnight ago to suggest a race of this nature is well within his compass. Fia Fuinidh ran well on his reappearance at Carlisle last month and is feared most.

A two-year losing run hardly makes GOLD DES BOIS bet compelling but a recent C&D second suggests he may be ready to strike again.
Class & Speed Card

Richard Fahey has won three of the last four runnings of this apprentices' handicap, including with ZIP in 2020 and 2022 and the eight-year-old returns to Town Moor on a lower mark than for both of those victories. He shaped well when third behind Onemorenomore here a fortnight ago and the winner doesn't have the assistance of Billy Loughnane this time, but he does reoppose on similar terms. Stanage was an easy winner of a maiden over this trip at Chelmsford last time and boasts sound double claims on his handicap bow.

ONEMORENOMORE bagged his third victory at this course a fortnight ago and hasn't been harshly treated by the handicapper since. He can go in again. Quest For Fun and Zip rate the principal dangers.

Off a very workable mark, ZIP is taken to register a third success in this race and reverse recent C&D placings with Onemorenomore.
Class & Speed Card

Following a couple of third-placed finishes over fences, AIR DROP was in front and still in with every chance when unseating her rider two in a Grade 3 chase at Punchestown last month. She looks worth another chance now back down in class and the withdrawal of A Law Of Her Own means she could get her own way out in front. Nara kept good company in juvenile hurdles last term and looks a big threat, but she fell on her chasing debut at Sligo last month. Enjoy The Dream completes the shortlist.

AIR DROP is going the right way over fences and can open her account over the larger obstacles here. Nara and A Law of Her Own rate the principal dangers.

AIR DROP (nap) could run them ragged from the front and she will take all the beating if allowed to dictate matters under Jack Kennedy

The progressive LUCKIE SEVEN has now won both of his starts over hurdles, having defied a penalty when successful in novice company at Perth in September. The six-year-old will likely have more to offer on his handicap debut and Nicky Richards' inmate is taken to continue winning ways. The Navigator also bids for a hat-trick with solid claims and had the measure of Harper Valley (third) at Sedgefield last month. Bois Guillbert merits consideration too.

Progressive in bumpers, LUCKIE SEVEN made it 2-2 over hurdles despite still showing signs of inexperience in a Perth novice in September. Very much the type to progress further now handicapping, he looks up to playing a lead role from his opening mark. The Navigator has thrived of late and should be in the mix again. Forged Well, back at 2½m, and low-mileage I Am Max complete the shortlist.

The vote goes to the lightly raced LUCKIE SEVEN (nap), who is unbeaten in two hurdles and makes appeal on his handicap debut.
Class & Speed Card

FAHRENHEIT SEVEN is very interesting in the second division of this 7f apprentices' handicap. Having recorded a quick-fire sprint double in July, Mark Usher's gelding looked crying out for further when powering home over 6f at Epsom last time and there could be much more to come from the unexposed three-year-old. However, if a 6lb rise and a 121-day layoff catch him out here, then Beauty Choice could be the one to pounce, as he returns to a winning trip on the back of some good efforts in defeat over shorter. Capote's Dream is another to consider after a near-miss over 6f at Newbury.

CAPOTE'S DREAM is well treated if he can build on his latest back-to-form second at Newbury. Second choice is Look Back Smiling who wasn't seen to best effect here on Futurity day and won on this card last season. The consistent Beauty Choice completes the shortlist.

Back down in class, LOOK BACK SMILING is taken to record a third success at Doncaster. Mister Sox is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

GLYNN BRAE was victorious on his only bumper start before switching to the Nigel Twiston-Davies stable and doing the business on heavy ground on his hurdling debut at Stratford last month. The four-year-old should have plenty more to offer and might be capable of defying his 6lb penalty. Point-to-point winner Ben Solo made a successful start over the smaller obstacles at Chepstow and looks the main threat, while Mister Meggit is another to keep an eye on.

An interesting opener. There were excuses for MISTER MEGITT when a warm favourite for a Grade 2 bumper at the Grand National meeting and he can get his hurdle career off to a winning start for the in-form O'Neill yard. Malicash, Glynn Brae and Ben Solo can give him most to do in that order.

Interference proved very costly for MISTER MEGGIT in the Grade 2 bumper here in April but he was extremely impressive previously.
Class & Speed Card

THE GREAT UNKNOWN showed promise in maiden hurdles and made a bright start over fences when prominent throughout and beating all bar Brave Adam (the pair finished clear of the remainder) over 2m7f at Killarney last month. The selection hails from a yard in good form and is now fitted with cheekpieces. This race is restricted to horses rated 109 or less over hurdles and Due Course, successful on his penultimate start over this trip at Punchestown, just falls into the race criteria. Downpatrick maiden hurdle winner Tell Nobody Nothin is another to consider, along with Be Fierce and Cosmo Renfro, who both won over hurdles last time.

HARDY DIAMOND already looks a better chaser than hurdler and in the right hands to progress, she makes the most appeal of these. The Great Unknown also has more to come, while unexposed 4-t-o Tell Nobody Nothin also demands consideration on debut over fences.

It could be worth taking a chance with \DUE COURSE\p, a chasing newcomer who is race-fit and has been progressive in handicap hurdles
Class & Speed Card

CLINTON LANE returned from a break to score by a neck at Plumpton last month and that looks the best piece of form on offer in this contest. Mark Gillard's six-year-old might only need to reproduce that level of performance in order to record a double in this company. Holeshot ran better than his odds suggested he would when fourth at Uttoxeter last time and could get closer on only his second start over hurdles, while Roxhill is worth a market check on his debut under Rules.

SORCELEUR stands out on what he achieved in bumpers and following a promising second on return/hurdles debut at Exeter 18 days ago, he looks to have been found an excellent opportunity of going one place better. Staff Sergeant Len on hurdles bow and Holeshot can fill the places.

Aintree festival bumper fifth SORCELEUR scored at Exeter yesterday and will have an excellent chance to double up if he turns up here.
Class & Speed Card

HALF SHOT has improved for the fitting of blinkers and followed a C&D victory with a fine second at Wetherby. This looks less competitive and he can resume winning ways, with his rider's 5lb allowance helping his cause. Choose A Copper made a successful debut over the larger obstacles at Hexham on his reappearance and there should be more to come from him over fences, while last month's Carlisle winner Five Dollar Fine looks worth another try over this trip.

The vote goes to unexposed 6-y-o CHOOSE A COPPER, who made the perfect start to his chase career at Hexham where, save for a scare at the first fence, he put in a good round of jumping. There should be more to come from Lucinda Russell's charge in this sphere. Breakdance Kid is just about second choice ahead of Five Dollar Fine and Half Shot.

If there's a useful prospect in the field it's probably CHOOSE A COPPER and Lucinda Russell's 6yo is taken to follow up his Hexham win.
Class & Speed Card

A 260,000gns yearling who is a half-brother to four winners, HUMAM showed good speed for a long way before weakening into third over 7f at Newmarket first time out. With that recent experience under his belt and the drop in trip likely to suit, Andrew Balding's colt is preferred to So Darn Hot, who has got closer to the target with each of his three starts and only went down by three-quarters of a length over 5f at Yarmouth last month. My Mate Beattie has also shown ability in her four outings and completes the shortlist.

SO DARN HOT again shaped encouragingly when pulling clear with a promising newcomer at Yarmouth on his most recent outing and, with the step back up in trip an obvious plus, this looks a good opportunity for him to open his account. Humam is entitled to build on a promising first effort at Newmarket, with newcomer Crestofdistinction requiring a market check.

The pick on form judged on his second at Yarmouth last month, SO DARN HOT is open to further progress and looks the one to beat.
Class & Speed Card

HAITI COULEURS finished 10 lengths clear of the third when occupying the runner-up berth in this grade at Chepstow on his most recent outing and is only 3lb higher. Rebecca Curtis' seven-year-old has lots of scope for improvement on only his second chase start and could prove tough to beat. Uncle Bert ran too bad to be true when a pulled-up favourite at Carlisle six days ago and he might be worth another chance. Ike Sport can beat Equinus in the battle for third.

A dual winner over hurdles as a novice, HAITI COULEURS took a marked step forward on those efforts when a most encouraging second on return/chase debut at Chepstow 4 weeks ago, some inexperienced jumping arguably costing him. Open to improvement, he's fancied to confirm the promise of that effort and go one place better. Ike Sport may emerge next best, ahead of Uncle Bert, who comes here on something of a recovery mission having been pulled up at Carlisle 6 days ago.

The most solid claims belong to HAITI COULEURS who jumped soundly in the main on his chasing debut and may well go one better.
Class & Speed Card

GAELIC ARC made most when landing a valuable 2m1f handicap at Killarney in July and the front-runner only gave best in the closing stages when runner-up to Shecouldbeanything in a 2m4f Grade 3 novice at Tipperary. He should be suited by this drop in trip after a below-par effort over 2m4f at Cork last weekend. The Big Chap found Grade 2 company too hot at Down Royal last time but previously had Railway Hurricane nearly six lengths back in third when scoring over 2m3f at Limerick. The Gavin Cromwell-trained gelding can't be discounted lightly, having made a mistake two out on that occasion and he now enjoys a 7lb swing in the weights.

THE BIG CHAP is best not judged on his latest run at Down Royal and can resume winning ways. Gaelic Arc may provide the chief threat.

It might be worth siding with GAELIC ARC, who will attempt to win from the front under Danny Mullins
Class & Speed Card

TEDLEY accounted for his nearest rival by just over a length when scoring in this grade at Wetherby last week and competes off a 6lb higher rating for his hat-trick bid. Nigel Twiston Davies' five-year-old might have plenty more to offer on only his third chase start and can remain unbeaten over fences. It was hard not to be impressed by Dreaming Blue's triumph at Fontwell in April and, despite an 8lb rise, he could get into contention on his return to action, along with fellow last-time-out winner Duke Of Luckley.

TEDLEY is clearly a different proposition now chasing and this looks a good opportunity to maintain his unbeaten record. Beau Balko could well be sharper for last month's return at Kempton and is second choice.

This looks good for TEDLEY, a course winner over hurdles who has made an excellent start to his chasing career this autumn.
Class & Speed Card

STARLYTE may be winless since November 2022, but she bounced back to form to occupy the runner-up berth over C&D and is fancied to end the drought. Marty Mcfly has undergone wind surgery since scoring at Perth in June, which might bring about further improvement, while Maillot Blanc has yet to click for new connections but is a capable sort on his day. Returning from a long absence, Gonfalonier could have a say in proceedings as well.

MARTY MCLFY has to prove his stamina for this far but made a sound start for his new yard during the middle of 2024 and is taken to pick up where he left off. Starlyte must enter the reckoning on her runner-up effort over C&D recently with her mark unchanged, while the market will help assess Gonfalonier on his return from a long time off the track.

An open handicap. MAILLOT BLANC is still finding his feet after an absence and his last run was quite encouraging.
Class & Speed Card

ZOUM ZOUM appeared to appreciate the drop back to 6f when running out a ready winner over this track and trip last month and, with forecast underfoot conditions set to suit, he gets a tentative vote for the red-hot Ralph Beckett team. Course winner Room Service was far from disgraced when finishing runner-up in a hot York handicap over 6f last month and he looks the main danger to the selection. Russet Gold and Ramazan are a couple of others to consider.

Three-year-olds ROOM SERVICE and Zoum Zoum graduate from handicap company but such was the impression the pair created last time, they bring very solid form to the table. Marginal preference is for the former, who showed what he could do at this track when a decisive winner of a sales race last year. Of the rest, a stiff 6f could be what Russet Gold requires so he's on the shortlist.

Room Service has potential and Russet Gold was 3rd in a Group 3 last time but ZOUM ZOUM can improve on a recent C&D win.
Class & Speed Card

GUARD THE MOON took another step forward when scoring on his handicap debut at Warwick last month and a 6lb rise might prove to be lenient. The son of Pether's Moon shaped as if this step up in distance could unlock further improvement and he looks the one to beat. Harbour Lake has made the frame in deep handicaps on each of his last two starts and has to be taken seriously. Magical King is the pick of the remainder.

GUARD THE MOON is taken to defy the handicapper and complete a hat-trick, with the step back up in trip promising to see him in an even better light. Harbour Lake ran well in a couple of warm handicaps in the spring and might provide the main threat if resuming in similar form. Willaston and Magical King are others likely to have a say.

The lightly raced GUARD THE MOON is a 6yo on the up and can make it 2-2 in handicaps.
Class & Speed Card

LE BUGISTE won three times in France, all over staying trips, including when making all in a 15-runner 1m6f Vichy handicap in July, and riding arrangements suggest he's preferred to Kazakh D'arthel, who was runner-up at the Listowel Festival before disappointing at Wexford. Casheldale Lad scored on debut for Andrew Kinirons in a 1m1f Punchestown maiden nearly 14 months ago and now reappears over hurdles for powerful connections. Pearl Of Australia won a 1m2f Roscommon maiden last year and is another making his debut over hurdles, along with 1m1f Tipperary handicap winner Status Green.

CASHELDALE LAD ran to a fairly useful level when winning a Punchestown maiden on his sole Flat start for Andrew Kinirons last year and, having joined Gordon Elliott ahead of this switch to hurdling, he makes plenty of appeal. Le Bugiste is another interesting recruit given his Flat ability, while Kazakh d'Arthel is better judged on his opening effort in this sphere having gone off too hard in a first-time hood at Wexford on his most recent outing.

CASHELDALE LAD has a lengthy absence to overcome but he held a Triumph Hurdle entry last season and is clearly highly regarded
Class & Speed Card

This looks a wide-open event in which the hat-trick seeking Pretending is likely to attract plenty of support after his convincing success off 6lb lower at Uttoxeter last month. However, a chance can be taken on MERMAIDS CAVE, who might have been value for more than the winning margin suggests at Bangor on her latest outing. James Owen's five-year-old only has a 4lb higher mark to contend with and the step back up in trip looks a good move. Larchmont Lass and Bethpage are two others to consider.

Two defeats in the spring shouldn't be taken to suggest LARCHMONT LASS can't do some damage from this sort of mark and she can make a successful return from wind surgery back at the scene of her novice win. Mermaids Cave is yet another who has thrived for the switch to James Owen and is next on the list ahead of Pretending and Bethpage.

This can go to ALL THE GLORY (nap), who is of strong interest if judged on her emphatic 2m4f win at Newbury in March.
Class & Speed Card

BEYOND THE VERGE overcame inexperience to make a successful start to his career over C&D in September and although he has to carry a 7lb winner's penalty today, he shaped like he would have learned plenty from that experience and should have more to offer now. Humble Jumble cost 30,000 pounds last year and is an interesting newcomer for Lucinda Russell, while Burning It Up showed promise when third in a point-to-point and must be respected having been subsequently purchased for 35,000 pounds.

BEYOND THE VERGE, who caused an upset when successful first time out over C&D, could be above avaerage and can follow up under a penalty. Humble Jumble is another one to be interested in first-time out.

There's not much to go on but HUMBLE JUMBLE looks an interesting newcomer, with Beyond The Verge perhaps vulnerable with his penalty
Class & Speed Card

Imperial Saint has to be of interest after his success over C&D a couple of weeks ago and that followed another victory at Ffos Las on his final outing of last season. That said, preference is for HUNTER LEGEND, who is also seeking a hat-trick and is only 6lb higher than his 15-length triumph at Bangor in March. The rest all need to find some improvement, but Coastguard Station is the pick of them.

IMPERIAL SAINT was aided by a late mishap to his main challenger when scoring over C&D last month but he remains with potential in this sphere and can follow up. Hunter Legend and Coastguard Station rate the principal dangers.

Point winner IMPERIAL SAINT made a pleasing start to his chasing career when winning over C&D two weeks ago and can follow up.
Class & Speed Card

ADDRAGOOLE has bumped into some useful sorts of late and can gain a deserved win. The Gatewood gelding chased home Sporting Glory on his return to hurdling at Galway last time, giving way going to the last and running a fine race in defeat. His fitness advantage could prove the key now. Gordon Elliott runs Gigginstown gelding Jersey Des Brosses, who may do better over obstacles. The French-bred dramatically unshipped his rider when last seen in a Bellewstown bumper back in April. Workahead was a cosy winner of his point-to-point and commands respect on his first outing for Henry de Bromhead.

If the market vibes surrounding WORKAHEAD are positive the hint should be taken. Indeed, he did the job well when scoring on his sole start between the flags and is armed with plenty of potential now embarking on a career under Rules. Addragoole is the clear pick of those with experience and he is the main danger, while the likes of Blaze The Way, But What, Jersey Des Brosses and Whatsanotheryear are all open to improvement.

This looks like a good opportunity for ADDRAGOOLE to get off the mark after a career-best 2nd latest and he sets the standard
Class & Speed Card

Handstands has to be of interest on his return to action having shown plenty of promise over hurdles last season. That said, INSURRECTION was second to a useful rival on his chasing bow over 2m3f at Chepstow four weeks ago and that recent run may just give him the edge here. Boombawn was a close third on that occasion and could be in the mix once again, while Soul Icon edges out Glynn to be best of the rest.

INSURRECTION bettered his hurdles form at the first time of asking in this sphere at Chepstow last month and it's likely we haven't seen the best of him yet. He is marginally preferred to Soul Icon, who has plenty of chasing experience and only narrowly failed to land a valuable handicap at Market Rasen in the summer. Chase-debutant Handstands is also much respected in an intriguing contest.

There's every reason to believe that INSURRECTION can step up plenty on his highly encouraging chase debut effort at Chepstow.

Latenightpass has a good record on this course and should not be underestimated, although a mark of 147 appears to be stiff enough. As a result, the vote goes to PERCUSSION, who has been placed in the last two renewals of this contest. The nine-year-old was second off this mark in a valuable event at Uttoxeter when last seen in June and he has to be high on the shortlist. Frero Banbou disappointed in the Topham in April but is 3lb lower than when third in this race 12 months ago, while Sure Touch and Outlaw Peter are others to note.

The looks really open with LATENIGHTPASS awarded the vote primarily due to his superb record over the National fences with this drop in trip sure to help his cause on return to action. Percussion has been placed in the last 2 renewals of this race so he commands plenty of respect, while a case can also be made for the likes of Frero Banbou, Harper's Brook and Sure Touch.

The 6yo IDALKO BIHOUE (nap) was impressive at Cheltenham last October and is the pick with his stable having an excellent autumn.
Class & Speed Card

SERIENMOND ran a big race on his handicap debut at Tramore last month and dropping back in trip should suit now. The Sea The Moon gelding soon went clear that day and was only nabbed late on by Rampere West. Off a 3lb higher mark, he looks capable of winning a race of this standard. Disco Dancer has been knocking on the door and was a solid third at Downpatrick last time. She is entitled to be thereabouts again. Marlpark won his maiden hurdle at Clonmel in good style 16 days ago and, despite going up 12lb, he could be competitive now in handicap company.

A first hurdles success could be on the cards for SINGLE EDITION, who was knocking firmly on the door prior to a below-par display at Punchestown last month and he appeals as the type to bounce back quickly. Disco Dancer is pretty consistent on the whole and rates the main danger ahead of Glen Kiln and Vadsa Queen.

With lots of pace on, it should leave the door open for VADSA QUEEN to stalk the leaders and pounce on the turn for home

Rubaud won this last year and is likely to go well once again having scored with plenty in hand at Kempton last month. That said, he may struggle to give 6lb to ASPIRE TOWER, who has not had many starts since finishing fourth in the 2021 Champion Hurdle. The eight-year-old relished the return hurdling when winning readily at Punchestown last month and he may improve for that outing. Brentford Hope progressed well last season in handicaps but this will require another step forward.

BRENTFORD HOPE showed he's still on the up as a hurdler when a cracking second at Punchestown in April and, while he doesn't have the race fitness last year's winner Rubaud has on his side, the 6 lb he receives may prove to be pivotal.

Expect RUBAUD and Aspire Tower to head off in front and there's a good chance they'll remain there in that order of preference.

CAMARRATE was value for more than the winning margin when scoring comfortably at Sedgefield in May, and this track should suit on his return as he looks to bring up the hat-trick on his handicap debut. A mark of 112 could underestimate him and Donald McCain's charge may have too much for top-weight Deploy To Spy, who has won easily himself the last twice. A winner of his last three starts over the past two months, Prolific Profile is another who must enter calculations.

DEPLOY TO SPY has won both his completed starts over hurdles in clear-cut style and, with further improvement on the cards now entering handicap company, he's an appealing candidate. Camarrate is another unexposed handicap debutant who merits consideration, along with Irish Lullaby, who should be all the better for a recent run.

Another chance is given to IRISH LULLABY, who has potential off her current mark in view of her considerable Flat ability.

Not the strongest looking contest and DELIAS PET may be able to defy a 7lb penalty for her success at Fairyhouse on Tuesday. The Tim Doyle-trained mare was value for a bit more than her winning margin and probably didn't have too hard of a race. Stowaway Lass ran well when fourth at Galway on her last outing and dropping back in trip may help her now. Realtin Lonrach has run solid races on her last couple of outings and could be place material.

A tricky mares' handicap with a chance taken on veteran STOWAWAY LASS. She confirmed the promise she was in the process of showing at Limerick when a good fourth over 3m at Galway 2 weeks ago and this drop back in trip may well be in her favour now. Tuesday's Fairyhouse winner Delias Pet and Realtin Lonrach are others to consider, along with Lar's Lass.

STOWAWAY LASS has been in better form than her form figures suggest lately and the drop back in trip could be the key to her

Paul Nicholls has won this valuable handicap four times in the last seven years, most recently with the excellent Frodon in 2022, and he relies on Mofasa this time around. The eight-year-old showed promise in his novice chase campaign and is open to improvement, but he will need it to land this prize and preference is for the match-fit LORD ACCORD. Neil Mulholland's charge returned to fences to make all in facile fashion over this C&D last month and while this is tougher off a 5lb higher mark, the hat-trick seeking gelding is clearly in fine form and likes it here. The Changing Man was a very encouraging second (clear of the rest) off 4lb lower in a good novice handicap at Uttoxeter in March and he's very interesting on his seasonal debut.

THE CHANGING MAN pulled a long way clear of the rest when chasing home one who rather had the run of things at Uttoxeter in March and, likely to do better still in his second season over fences, he gets the nod. The hat-trick seeking Lord Accord is next on the list ahead of Remastered, while Mofasa needs to get back on track but he will be a danger to all if able to do so off this reduced mark.

The Changing Man is interesting but one with potential to outrun his odds if he can find some rhythm in his jumping is GUSTAVIAN.

This can go the way of FRAN THE MAN, who shaped with plenty of promise when prominent throughout on debut at Huntingdon last month. The booking of Brian Hughes catches the eye on this occasion and he can get off the mark at the expense of well-bred newcomer Danger Nap. The three-year-old hails from a family that the yard knows well and he should be primed to challenge, along with fellow newcomer Linalene, whose stable landed this contest last year.

Those with previous form don't set a tall standard and it could pay to go with a newcomer in the shape of DANGER NAP. He appeals as a likely type on paper for a yard amongst the winners and earns the vote before market clues. Fran The Man following his Huntingdon debut third needs considering, with Star of Guiting not one to be writing off either. Linalene completes the shortlist for the stable that took this 12 months ago.

A tentative vote goes to the newcomer LINALENE whose pedigree fits the bill and whose stable won this race 12 months ago.

Stepping up in trip now may help BALLYCOMMON CHAPEL. She has run well on her last couple of outings over two miles and stayed on nicely to finish second on her penultimate start here. Off just a 2lb higher mark, there looks to be a race in her. Bowgate Street attempts to follow up on her Sligo success just over two weeks ago. She was a game winner that day but a 6lb rise makes life a bit tougher. Yorkshire Escape hasn't run too badly in maiden hurdles recently and is one to note on her handicap debut.

IT'S TIME AGAIN hasn't won for a while but looked ready to strike when second at Limerick 3 weeks ago, so she's marginally preferred to last-time-out winner Bowgate Street. Yorkshire Escape is potentially well treated on bumper form and also merits respect.

\COLLEEN DANU\p ran well here on yard debut last month and if she comes on for that run she could be ahead of her mark

SWINGIN SAFARI changed hands for 165,000 euros after narrowly losing out to an expensive rival on his debut at Ballinrobe in April and he looks to have been found a good opportunity to make a winning start for Paul Nicholls, who landed this race in 2018 and 2019. Sergeant Fury cost 38,000 pounds following his point-to-point success in May and warrants respect on his NH debut, while The Sainted Canary rates best of the rest.

SWINGIN SAFARI has joined a top yard on the back of a debut full of promise and he's taken to open his account at the second attempt. Sergeant Fury deserves respect having won a point.

A difficult bumper to approach without market vibes. THE SAINTED CANARY has two bumpers under his belt and they were good runs.

ROYAL ALLIANCE was having his first start since June when scoring at Newcastle last month, having been gelded in the interim. The son of Persian King comfortably beat a horse rated 82 and may well defy a penalty on the strength of that form. Akrramm will likely have more to offer on his return from an absence, and the now-gelded Beccali might have a say in proceedings as well. Breakdancer, Dance In The Storm and Raafedd are all newcomers to note.

Plenty of depth to this so conceding a penalty won't be easy for ROYAL ALLIANCE, but he was quite impressive at Newcastle so he rates the percentage call. Akrramm ran in a hot race on debut so is sure to improve, while there are a plethora of interesting-looking newcomers, notably Elements of Fire and Breakdancer.

An interesting race but it might be worth sticking with ROYAL ALLIANCE, who justified support in good style at Newcastle last month.

NO SAINT finally took advantage of a tumble down the weights when scoring with any amount in hand at Southwell. The four-year-old has been raised 6lb for that success, but another strong bid looks assured. Wrath Of Hector has placed here since winning at Yarmouth in August and it would be no surprise if he featured in the finish once again. Sea The Buckthorn (fourth) wasn't far behind Wrath Of Hector last time and looks best of the rest.

NO SAINT won readily at Southwell last week and a 6 lb rise shouldn't stop him if in a similar mood. Wrath of Hector and Sea The Buckthorn might be the pair to give Sam England's charge most to think about.

With many of his rivals far from solid, NO SAINT is taken to follow up his Southwell win. Wrath Of Hector is second choice.

Adrian Wintle's veteran had gone close when runner-up at Chepstow before that, suggesting a return to winning ways was imminent, and he gets another chance. A winner at Kempton last month, Batal Dandy ran well again when third over track and trip a fortnight ago and is not out of it, while Just Ten High can be given a chance returning to this shorter distance.

JUST TEN HIGH bumped into a progressive one at Southwell last Saturday and can show he's still on a good mark. La Verite shaped better than the result at Kempton last time and is feared most with Billy Loughnane taking over the reins from a 7 lb apprentice. Poetic Jack is next on the list.

The return to this C&D and the refitting of cheekpieces add up well for JUST TEN HIGH and leave him with less to prove than most.

CAMERA SHY created a good impression when scoring cosily at Newmarket on debut in May and, after not being seen to best effect when sent off a warm order for a Group 3 in Italy, this promising son of Kodiac can return to winning ways. The experienced Rock Hunter has shown enough ability to suggest that he can land a race of this nature and commands attention sporting blinkers for the first time. Desert Champion is also respected, especially if the market speaks favourably.

INITIAL BLUE should have learnt plenty from his encouraging Wolverhampton debut and gets the nod. Newmarket-winner Camera Shy remains with potential and may provide the chief threat, whilst Desert Champion and Spitzbergen are both of interest on their racecourse bows.

Camera Shy looks the pick of those with experience but SPITZBERGEN is a newcomer of note and can make a winning debut.

APPLE'S ANGEL impressed when scoring comfortably over track and trip on her nursery debut last week and the suspicion is that a 7lb rise may not be enough to anchor her. Eighteencaratgold offered encouragement when fourth on his handicap bow at Kempton in August and he can emerge as the main danger to the selection now he has been gelded and is sporting cheekpieces for the first time. Recent C&D runner-up Oasis Sunrise completes the shortlist.

Preference is for DUBAI MAGIC, who went close on her nursery debut at Wolverhampton and she wasn't seen to best effect here next time. Apple's Angel duly left the form of her qualifying runs well behind when scoring on her first run in a nursery over C&D nine days ago and she is second choice ahead of Piranha Rama and Oasis Sunrise.

The shortlist comprises the runners who have respectable C&D form, namely APPLE'S ANGEL, Specified and Oasis Sunrise.

STARTLING impressed with a last-to-first victory over C&D last month and this looks a good opportunity for her to follow up, despite racing off a 4lb higher mark. Natsumi hasn't cut much ice in her three qualifying runs, but she warrants respect on her nursery debut for astute connections. Master Zack wasn't seen to best effect over 6f here recently, but he suffered interference and could bounce back.

STARTLING did well to overcome a pace bias over C&D last month and is a straightforward choice to follow up in a race lacking depth. Bank On Kent is fully exposed but seems the most likely to follow the selection home.

Bank On Kent should go well back at 5f but this looks a big drop in class for NATSUMI and she make a winning nursery debut.

BLIND BEGGAR finished four lengths clear of Moulin Booj (third) when only denied by a short head in a stronger event at Nottingham. Mick Appleby's six-year-old took this race last year and is only 1lb higher, so it would be no surprise to see him repeat the feat. Crimson Sand made the frame over 6f here last month, just five days on from a success over the same C&D, and could get into contention again. Bang On The Bell can pick up any pieces.

BANG ON THE BELL has been in good form on turf lately and returns to AW on a feasible mark, so he's preferred to Blind Beggar, who arrives on the back of a solid showing at Nottingham. Regal Envoy is another one to consider.

This is a drop in class for HAYMAKER and he can prove too strong for Moulin Booj and Blind Beggar.

Hunters Run is in fine form and was a close-up second when on a hat-trick at Southwell. However, the slight rise in distance might stretch out his stamina and, with that in mind, the vote goes to DASHING PANTHER. William Stone's five-year-old could only finish in midfield at Newbury, when the heavy conditions may have gone against him. Based on his runner-up effort at Pontefract prior to that display, he could be the one to beat. Al Haal is another to note.

GENESIUS couldn't be blamed for unseating at Newbury last time and, back on AW with blinkers applied, he makes plenty of appeal. The in-form Hunters Run is an obvious danger and Sax Appeal can't be ruled out down in grade.

This can go to the progressive 3yo HUNTERS RUN (nap), who went close in his hat-trick bid at Southwell last time.

Andaleep backed up his fifth in the Cambridgeshire with a highly respectable second at Kempton on Monday and should remain competitive off an unchanged mark. However, he could come out second best to PENZANCE, who is a dual C&D winner and finished third in a Listed contest on the same Kempton card earlier in the week. The four-year-old returns to the handicap ranks and will prove hard to beat. Intricacy is another to take seriously, despite being absent since his victory at Meydan in February.

Dual C&D winner PENZANCE lines up 3 lb lower than when second at Newcastle in the spring and, with an encouraging third in listed company behind him at Kempton on Monday, he's very much of interest returned to this shorter trip. Intricacy has been absent since winning at Meydan earlier this year but is worth a second look for the Crisfords. Low-mileage 3-y-os Westridge and Salamanca are others to note in a good quality affair.

While PENZANCE failed make an impact in some good-quality turf races in the summer, it's resulted in him dropping to a good AW mark.
Ths is the racecard key.
