Dearkeithandkaty failed to land a blow when fourth on handicap debut at Warwick last month, but that was still an improved effort and he could get closer. ROSE'S DART made the frame over an extended 2m3f at Wetherby in March and may have not appreciated the drop in trip when only sixth at Perth on her return to action last month. The daughter of Dartmouth steps up in distance on her handicap bow and the booking of Brian Hughes catches the eye. Bo Cruz isn't ruled out either.

This looks tricky but the vote goes to BO CRUZ, who has being getting better with practice and is open to more progress this season.

An opening mark of 95 proved lenient for last month's C&D winner Turndlightsdownlow and he must enter calculations on his follow-up bid. However, a 10lb hike from the assessor does demand more from the five-year-old and fellow last-time-out winner SUN JOY is potentially better handicapped. A 6lb rise for his Ludlow victory looks workable and a third victory over hurdles may beckon. Cuban Court could also figure if building on his fourth-placed reappearance at Uttoxeter.

A few of these are worth a look but TURNDLIGHTSDOWNLOW (nap) came clear in good style over C&D recently and can defy a 10lb rise.

Steel Ally was only beaten a neck into second in the National Spirit over the smaller obstacles at Fontwell in February and is an interesting contender on his chasing bow. However, UNEXPECTED PARTY could only manage fifth on his return at Cheltenham last month, but is likely to take a step forward from that display. With Harry Skelton back on board, he could prove a tough nut to crack. Of the remainder, Path D'oroux makes the most appeal.

Top of the list is useful hurdler STEEL ALLY, who is a big player if he can run near his best on this first start over fences.

SIXTY PLUS hasn't looked back since racing under the tutelage of James Owen and a 10lb higher mark may not be enough to prevent a five-timer. The five-year-old scored a shade cosily at the expense of a subsequent winner on his latest outing at Worcester and has more than earned a crack at this rise in class. Saint Anapolino returned with a respectable sixth in a 20-runner affair at Cheltenham and is feared most, ahead of Busy Being Busy.

Nearly all can be seriously fancied. BUSY BEING BUSY, Below The Radar, Sixty Plus and Saint Anapolino are the shortlist.

Book of Secrets was just touched off into second at Newton Abbot on his most recent start and should remain competitive. Russian Virtue filled the runner-up spot at Uttoxeter when last seen in this sphere and is noted, but JACKPOT D'AINAY gets the vote. Olly Murphy's charge finished third at Sandown in February and could have more to come on just his second outing in a handicap.

The vote goes to DISCO ANNIE (nap), who won this race last year and her last success was off today's mark.

SHE IS FOR ME BOYS arrives here on the back of two impressive novice hurdle victories earlier in the year and a mark of 104 may underestimate Jamie Snowden's mare if she takes to fences. Shantwopointfive was also successful over hurdles when last seen and could prove to be the main threat, although Popova and Georgi Girl should not be discounted.

Ilovethenightlife won it last year but SHANTWOPOINTFIVE and She Is For Me Boys are promising chase debutantes.

BEBSIDE BANTER had plenty in hand when winning over fences at Worcester a month ago and, in a race where most have questions to answer, the eight-year-old is hard to oppose now looking to exploit a 2lb lower mark over hurdles. Final Straw may improve now switched to handicaps with first-time cheekpieces applied, while Hurst Hill is the pick of the remainder.
