Call Me Harry

8/1(-14%)
(5) Call Me Harry 8/1, Dual bumper winner who appears to be gradually progressing over hurdles, producing his best effort yet in this sphere when runner-up over 21f on handicap debut at Kelso (good to firm) in September. Unexposed granted this sort of test.

8/1(-23%)
(9) Rickety Gate 8/1, Dual scorer last autumn at Kelso/in this race and ran up to best when last seen, second of 7 in handicap at Perth (3m) in June. Returns with yard amongst the winners and worth noting he's gone well fresh previously.

Dalileo

14/1(+0%)
(10) Dalileo 14/1, Held form pretty well so far this season, again finding only one too good in 10-runner Carlisle handicap (20f) 3 weeks ago. Arrives here operating from same mark but rates more of an each-way play rather than one for win purposes.
5th
5th (11) Sanosuke (7/1 +56%)
Sanosuke

7/1(+56%)
(11) Sanosuke 7/1, Fairly useful on the Flat in Ireland and he strung a couple of good efforts together over hurdles at Perth during the spring, twice filling the runners-up spot. Likely return spin at that venue in September was needed and he steps back up in trip now.

33/1(-136%)
(8) Pammi 33/1, Likeable sort who gained a seventh career success around Perth over 3m in September. Never figured back on the Flat at Ayr (15f, soft) 5 weeks ago though, and others rate stronger in this field now returned to timber.

(2) Curley Finger 10/1, Dual winner over timber last season (latterly over C&D) and continued in good heart during the spring, fourth of 7 in handicap at Cartmel (22f) in May. Faced a stiff task and never figured on return/chase debut at Carlisle in October and this more suitable back over timber. Cheekpieces back on.

10th (4) Faithfulflyer (10/3 +39%)
Faithfulflyer

10/3(+39%)
(4) Faithfulflyer 10/3, Had a productive first season for Sandy Thomson, scoring twice (including over C&D). Improved further in defeat subsequently, good third on return/following wind op at Kelso (16.2f) 31 days ago. That ought to have brought him on and he's another in the mix.
11th
11th (3) Firth Of Forth (22/1 -144%)
Firth Of Forth

22/1(-144%)
(3) Firth Of Forth 22/1, Easily best effort in handicaps when runner-up at Kelso (22.5f, good to soft) when last seen in May. Certainly not without hope provided he's ready to roll.

High On The Hill

200/1(-203%)
(13) High On The Hill 200/1, Maiden pointer who offered little in trio of maiden/novice hurdles last season. Tailed-off last of 3 between the flags when last seen in May and tough task on her hands now handicapping in this sphere from miles out of the weights.

|PU| (12) Colonel Manderson (33/1 -32%)
Colonel Manderson

33/1(-32%)
(12) Colonel Manderson 33/1, Fair 3m hurdles winner for Dan Skelton who was revived by fitting of first-time blinkers when opening his account for present yard at Hexham (23.3f) in September. Headgear failed to have desired effect back there last month, however.
LTO Selection:

12:35 Musselburgh Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This looks a more competitive renewal than the one Rickety Gate landed last year, but he merits respect from just 2lb above that winning mark. Preference, however, is for CALL ME HARRY, who kept on to finish a creditable second over 2m5f at Kelso in September and this step up in trip could see him to greater effect. Others to note include Haveyougotmymoney, Faithfulflyer and Firth Of Forth.

This rates more demanding than the assignments HAVEYOUGOTMYMONEY has faced of late, yet Paul Robson's 5-y-o is steadily going the right way and having still looked ahead of his mark for a long way at Kelso 11 days ago, he's fancied to prove the point with the drop back in trip a likely plus. Faithfulflyer and Finisk River head up the dangers, with last year's winner Rickety Gate and Curley Finger also not out of things.

The 5yo HAVEYOUGOTMYMONEY (nap) has been in fine form in the cheekpieces and can add to last month's win at Southwell.

Supasunrise

4/1(-45%)
(7) Supasunrise 4/1, Matched his hurdles form at the second attempt over fences last season when getting off the mark in handicap at Huntingdon (19.9f) on Boxing Day. Below form on his final 3 starts of the campaign, but back on track when a close third at Southwell last month. Shortlisted.
Kept jumping to the right when close up at Southwell; that's a concern around here.

Eurkash

9/1(+18%)
(8) Eurkash 9/1, Only one win from 22 starts (on his second try over fences) but showed better signs earlier this year, running creditably when third in handicap chase at Huntingdon (23.6f) in April. On a career-low mark as he returns from 6 months off.
Respectable third at Huntingdon in April and he might be a better horse left handed.
3
3rd (3) Miltiades (7/2 +22%)
Miltiades

7/2(+22%)
(3) Miltiades 7/2, Remains a maiden but showed encouragement switched to chasing when third in Stratford handicap (19.4f) in April. Not in the same form when 22 lengths second at Uttoxeter next time, but he has gone well fresh in the past and can make his presence felt.
Maiden but placed over hurdles and fences; return to softer ground is a positive.

Bonza Boy

3/1(+45%)
(4) Bonza Boy 3/1, Didn't kick on from a promising reappearance over hurdles last season, but not discredited on his first start over fences when making the frame in handicap at Chepstow (19.4f) in March. Still looking for his first win but could have more to offer as a chaser.
Maiden; kept on for fourth on chase debut in March having been hampered.
5th
5th (10) Hannah's Walk (15/2 -50%)
Hannah's Walk

15/2(-50%)
(10) Hannah's Walk 15/2, No better than mid-division over hurdles but showed aptitude for chasing when fifth of 8 in handicap at Bangor (3m) last month, albeit finishing well held having raced freely. Entitled to progress as she drops back down in trip.
Beaten a long way in all completed starts, latterly on her chase debut at Bangor (3m).

Nine Nine Nine

40/1(+39%)
(6) Nine Nine Nine 40/1, Runner-up in Fakenham maiden on hurdling debut back in 2021/22 but failed to build on that effort in his 3 subsequent starts, leaving Nigel Twiston-Davies after his second outing of the campaign. Best watched as he goes chasing after 19 months off.
Maiden; comfortably held in two hurdles for this yard back in early 2022.

Walk In The Wild

9/2(-29%)
(2) Walk In The Wild 9/2, Made the perfect start sent chasing last season, landing back-to-back handicaps at Lingfield in November. After a couple of below-par efforts, back to form when runner-up at this C&D in March, before a respectable fourth at Chepstow the following month. Major player.
Had a solid campaign over fences last season and returns with plenty in his favour.
|PU|
|PU| (1) Reine Fee (18/1 +40%)
Reine Fee

18/1(+40%)
(1) Reine Fee 18/1, Ended losing run when off the mark over fences at Ludlow (20f) in May last year. After 18 months off, shaped as if retaining ability on first outing since leaving Henry Oliver when sixth at Ffos Las 24 days ago. Task is now to build on her latest effort.
Has won over fences but comfortably held last time following a long absence.
|PU|

Getaway With You

20/1(+60%)
(11) Getaway With You 20/1, Showed little in a bumper and novice/maiden hurdles and he looks to be up against it as he makes his handicap/chase debut from 9 lb out of the weights.
Poor hurdler in various headgear and he's out of the weights for this his chasing debut.
|PU|
|PU| (5) Alkajack (40/1 -122%)
Alkajack

40/1(-122%)
(5) Alkajack 40/1, Made the frame once from 4 outings in points but hasn't offered much in 3 starts in maiden hurdles in Ireland this season. Has work to do as he makes handicap/chase debut on his first run for yard after leaving Stuart Crawford.
Ex-Irish gelding bought for 7,000gns; not the obvious answer on chase/handicap debut.
LTO Selection:

12:45 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

WALK IN THE WILD made a winning return last season and Gary Moore's charge might be worth siding with on his reappearance today. The son of Walk In The Park is just 1lb above his last successful mark and will have no problem with the forecast ground conditions. Miltiades was a well-beaten third (later promoted to second) at Uttoxeter when last seen but he has plenty of scope for improvement and must go on the shortlist. Supasunrise is able to compete from an unchanged mark, having finished a good third at Southwell last time, and he is another to consider.

Successful on her first 2 starts over fences, WALK IN THE WILD returned to form when runner-up at this C&D in March and she can make a winning return having edged back down in the weights. Miltiades has gone well fresh in the past and merits consideration making only his third chase start, with Supasunrise completing the shortlist.

Henry Daly's MILTIADES could be the one, having made the frame in both disciplines and he'll enjoy this return to softer ground.

Art Decco

13/2(+7%)
(3) Art Decco 13/2, Has quickly made up into a better chaser than hurdler last season, opening his account at the fourth attempt over fences in handicap at Fontwell (21.6f) in January. Not disgraced on heavy ground final start and warrants respect on return.
Fontwell winner in January; held off this mark next time; chance if ready after a break.

Doyouknowwhatimean

22/1(-57%)
(1) Doyouknowwhatimean 22/1, Just modest form over hurdles but bumper form gives him the scope for better and he has enough size for chasing. Worth monitoring in the market back from 5 months off.
Maiden; fair fourth over hurdles in April; improvement needed on chasing debut.

Mister Murchan

40/1(-60%)
(8) Mister Murchan 40/1, Mostly out of sorts last term though ought to have won off reduced mark at Fontwell final start (idled and collared last 50 yds). Off 7 months.
Both chase wins gained on heavy ground; modest record when fresh, however.
LTO Selection:

12:55 Chepstow Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ECEPARTI romped home on his seasonal reappearance last month and a 7lb penalty might not be enough to stop Venetia Williams' gelding from repeating that success. Connections have wasted no time in sending Doyouknowwhatimean over fences and he merits respect for the Dan Skelton team, while Faustinovick, whose sole chasing success came in this race 12 months ago, is another to consider.

ECEPARTI obliterated his rivals off a career-low mark on his return here last week and a 7 lb penalty shouldn't be enough to prevent the follow up. Art Decco and Head And Heart can follow the selection home.

Eceparti won well last week but is taken on with chasing newcomer ROUGE DE L'QUEST.

No joy in eight Flat runs and was tailed off at another big price on recent hurdling debut.
LTO Selection:

13:05 Musselburgh Conditions Hurdle (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

UNION FLAG made a pleasing start to life over hurdles when a close-up third at Cork last month. The three-year-old was bought for 25,000 euros shortly afterwards and any improvement could see him get off the mark over timber. A blunder at the second last hindered I'm Too Tired's chance at Sedgefield, but that experience ought to stand him in good stead, while Walk The Moon heads the remainder.

UNION FLAG made an encouraging debut over hurdles when third at Cork last month and he can progress from that effort as he makes his first start for Donald McCain. He is taken to get off the mark, though I'm Too Tired also shaped well sent hurdling last time and is feared most, ahead of Ragosina.

Preference is for Donald McCain's new recruit UNION FLAG, who made a bold bid on his hurdling debut at Cork last month.

13:15 Warwick Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dan Skelton launches a three-pronged assault with SMURFETTE, Elle Est Beau and I Look How I Look, of which the former is preferred. She ran well in defeat on both of her starts in bumpers, but the daughter of Blue Bresil appeals as the type to thrive over hurdles this season and her pedigree also suggests that may be the case. Fortune Forever didn't jump with fluency on her hurdles bow last month but she ought to be wiser this time around. Others to note include Helnwein and Heard That.

Useful bumper winner HELNWEIN is bred for the jumps so can make a winning start in this sphere at the main expense of Fortune Forever, who made a promising start over hurdles when second over C&D. Smurfette is another interesting hurdling newcomer.

With good bumper form from last season, HELNWEIN is given the nod on his hurdle debut.

13:25 Dundalk Claimer 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

James McAuley holds a very strong hand in this claimer as he saddles three horses. His TAWAAZON sets a high standard on official ratings and should relish this drop in class. He was unplaced on his last start here but, to put it into context, he was beaten just over five lengths in a handicap for horses rated up to 100. Just three runs back, he won a good handicap in the Curragh. Sunday Sovereign is capable of blazing away from stall one and could give his backers a good run for a long way. Tai Sing Yeh won an apprentice handicap over this trip on his last visit to Dundalk and is likely to be a major contender. Wooden Head and Big Baby Bull look to have a shot at place money.

TAWAAZON has failed to fire the last twice, but he's a four-time winner here and will prove hard to beat on these terms if on-song. Tai Sing Yeh and Sunday Sovereign are likely to emerge as the main dangers.

James McAuley has this covered with TAWAAZON taken to see off stablemates Taj Sing Yeh and Sunday Sovereign

Grade 1 winner over hurdles and promises to be even better as a chaser.
LTO Selection:

13:30 Chepstow Handicap Chase (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Tahmuras (winner) had the measure of COLONEL HARRY (fourth) in the Tolworth in January, but it might be a different story over fences. Jamie Snowden's charge looks the likely pace angle here and his earlier Sandown success would suggest that he might take some catching on the forecast ground conditions. Out Of Office took an early fall on his chasing debut last month but he should not be underestimated.

TAHMURAS is a Grade-1 winning hurdler who appeals as the type to do better over the larger obstacles, so he's fancied to make a winning return. Colonel Harry, another ex-pointer, is an obvious threat.

Tahmuras naturally commands great respect but COLONEL HARRY could be hard to reel in if finding some early rhythm out in front.

LTO Selection:

13:40 Musselburgh Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Quaresome was far from disgraced under a penalty at Newcastle when last seen and he looks a likely candidate once more, but the vote goes to SLUGGER. The son of Ocovango won going away at Kelso last month, his first start following wind surgery, and any progress could see him repeat the dose. Belle Of Annandale and Moarins Moarnin can fight it out for minor honours.

QUARESOME's last effort is best excused and he'd looked highly promising prior to that, so he's well worth another chance. Slugger looks a threat on the back of a comfortable winning start over hurdles and Belle of Annandale isn't one to write off.

Slugger commands respect but THE KALOOKI KID shaped nicely in his bumpers and he's bred to progress over hurdles.

LTO Selection:

13:50 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

An open event in which only a tentative vote can go to HURLERONTHEDITCH. A consistent performer over hurdles last season, David Pipe's charge is a brother to the useful Majestic Maid and a chasing mark of 112 looks to be well within his capabilities. Point winner Hot Rod Lincoln struck over timber when last seen in May and he is an interesting candidate now switched to fences, while Fontwell winner Tango Echo Charlie would be in with a chance if able to put last month's Southwell disappointment behind him.

FARMER'S GAMBLE is a chasing type on looks and should be well tuned up for this return, so he gets the marginal vote in an open-looking race. Hot Rod Lincoln is also the type to do better in this sphere, so he's feared most ahead of Howaya Now.

A handicap mark of 109 could enable HOT ROD LINCOLN to make a winning debut over fences.

14:00 Dundalk Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SCORCHIO rolled home off a fast pace to take the honours in a 5f nursery at this track last month and has prospects of following up off 7lb higher. The horse she beat half a length into second came out and landed a maiden at this track by six lengths to emphatically boost the form. Transcending Glory wasn't beaten far into fifth over 7f here last month and first-time blinkers go on. Hispanolita didn't run badly in sixth in her first nursery at this venue. Clonmacash (up in trip with a 7lb-claimer booked), Oak Allye and Cool Dan are others with chances.

SCORCHIO bounced back with a bang when making a winning AW debut here 12 days ago, beating a subsequent winner and recording a good time in the process, and she's taken to defy a 7 lb rise. Transcending Glory is feared most.

On revised terms, and with Wayne Hassett's 7lb claim in play, CLONMACASH has prospects of reversing 5f course form with Scorchio

ASK BREWSTER was a winner between the flags in March and the son of Ask went on to fetch 50,000 pounds the following month. Now in the care of Evan Williams, it would be no surprise to see him make an immediate impact on his Rules debut. Jackpot D'athou showed a decent level of form in bumpers last season and he must enter calculations, along with Anytrixwilldo, who posted a creditable fifth over C&D on his racecourse bow.

There was promise to glean from all three of JACKPOT D'ATHOU's exploits in bumpers and he can make a bold bid on return with his attentions switched to hurdling for the first time. Anytrixwilldo and Flying Fortune have both displayed promise over hurdles and can also feature, with Ask Brewster and Molly Sanderson a couple of point recruits to note.

Jonjo O'Neill's ANYTRIXWILLDO (nap) saw his race out well when fifth in a good C&D novice in February and gets the nod.

14:15 Musselburgh Handicap Chase (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Budarri was last seen hitting the crossbar twice over different distances at Hexham in June and the veteran is worthy of consideration off the same rating as the latest of those efforts. However, preference is for MAGIC MIKE, who was victorious in this grade on his penultimate start and found life tougher at a higher level when fourth at Huntingdon last time. This looks easier, so he can bag his fourth career success. Wonderweasle warrants a market check on her handicap/chase debut.

It could be worth chancing FRIARY ROCK, who took a step back in the right direction at Huntingdon last time and is now 5 lb below his last winning mark. Heros de Moutiers and Budarri head the dangers.

The very lightly raced mare WONDERWEASLE has travelled from Wales to make her chase and handicap debut, and earns the vote.

14:25 Warwick Handicap Chase (Class 3) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Several in-form rivals come together to make this an intriguing clash, with the hat-trick seeking pair Jet Plane and Latitude both very capable of extending their winning runs if everything goes right for them again. However, ARIZONA CARDINAL is 2-5 so far in chases and having improved in leaps and bounds since undergoing wind surgery, he could be hard to beat resuming off just 4lb higher than his 3m Uttoxeter success in May. Midlands Grand National winner Major Dundee also commands respect despite an 8lb higher mark.

This looks pretty competitive, with LATITUDE, Jet Plane, Major Dundee and Arizona Cardinal all seriously appealing on the back of career-best performances last time. Preference is for the first-named, who looked a chaser going places with decisive back-to-back wins during the spring. Jet Plane is the only member of the aforementioned quartet with a recent run under his belt, which could count for plenty, and he is feared most ahead of Midlands National winner Major Dundee.

With proven form and fitness, JET PLANE can add to last month's success.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PIER PRESSURE looked a big threat over 1m at this track, but his effort petered out in the final furlong so this drop back in trip could work the oracle. Hokusai has shown an aptitude for heavy ground but, being by Raven's Pass, ought to relish this all-weather surface while there was a lot to like about Local Girl's runner-up berth over C&D last month. She travelled well before giving best to the winner by a length and a-quarter. Ado McGuinness is well able to conjure victories from his British imports and Fahari makes her debut for him after posting a couple of placed efforts for Simon Crisford. Hasiyna makes her Dundalk debut and the balance of her turf form gives her claims.

LOCAL GIRL was a good second over C&D last month and can go one better in an ordinary maiden. Pier Pressure and Hokusai are others to consider.

Back to 7f after not quite seeing out the extra furlong here last month PIER PRESSURE should have the measure of lower-rated opponents.

HEROS DE ROMAY, a half-brother to the useful hurdler/chaser Espoir De Romay, won a bumper on debut in January before posting a respectable effort under a penalty in a similar race last time out. Open to any amount of improvement now sent hurdling, Kim Bailey's gelding heads the shortlist over the former point-to-pointers Captain Wallace, Minella Blueway and Livin On Luco.

CAPTAIN WALLACE and Minella Blueway are likely-looking recruits from the point scene and may well come to the fore in this maiden hurdle. The latter's connections struck with a similar type (Minella Missile) making his Rules debut over this C&D recently and he is strongly considered. However, preference is for Captain Wallace, who represents an in-form yard and the rival he was narrowly beaten by in March has since won under Rules. Heros de Romay and Hurricane Danny complete the shortlist.

Kim Bailey's HEROS DE ROMAY was learning on the job in bumpers last season but still managed to win one on heavy ground.

Marajman was last seen going in by just under four lengths at Southwell in July and he warrants plenty of respect off an 6lb higher rating. However, the one to be with is DR SHIROCCO, who was tough in the finish to score at Hexham in June and he could make a winning return to action off 4lb higher. Artic Row looks the most interesting of the rest, as he has his first crack over fences.

The three rivals IMPRESSION CHIC beat when making a winning chase debut at Fontwell have done little for the form since, but she is open to improvement in this sphere and a 4 lb rise for that success is hardly prohibitive. Kap Chidley made a positive start to the season when runner-up at Uttoxeter and he is second choice ahead of Marajman and chase debutant Artic Row.

Market support for Moo Moo's Milan would be well worth noting but preference is for Fontwell winner Impression Chic.

LTO Selection:

15:00 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PRETENDING is yet to break her maiden over hurdles but, given she ran a blinder to finish second in a premier handicap under Brony Frost at Cheltenham in April, this significant ease in grade provides her with a golden opportunity if raring to go on her return. Sweet Magic is closely matched with the selection based on the official ratings and should go well if the rain stays away, while Bushtucker Park and Criquette are a couple of others with reasonable place claims.

GIULIETTA starts on a very lowly mark for top connections and appeared to be getting the hang of things towards the end of last season, so she's fancied to make a winning handicap debut. Bushtucker Park is another lightly-raced sort and merits respect, with Pretending taken to complete the placings.

Pretending is respected but GUILIETTA (nap) receives weight from most of these and is set to improve for the switch to handicaps.

15:10 Dundalk Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A very competitive heat likely to be run at a good clip. SUNSET NOVA has an each-way chance at a price. He has dropped to a very lowly mark and Amy Jo Hayes takes 7lb off his back. He certainly knows where the winning post is with nine career victories and is the sort to pop up with a light weight on his back. International Lady has only been beaten by a head and a short head on her last couple of starts over C&D and should come home well.Pulse Of Shanghai has been placed in his last three outings and looks set for another big run. Recent winners Amemri, El Bello and Chica Power bring plenty to the contest while confirmed front-runner Mullacash Buzz has to be respected albeit stall 15 is far from ideal.

GOBI STAR has been in good order on turf recently but he's better on this surface and looks potentially very well treated, so he's worth chancing. El Bello is worthy of interest on the back of a winning debut for his current stable and the in-form International Lady warrants consideration despite her quirks.

With 5lb claimed INTERNATIONAL LADY has a reasonable chance of defying the 6lb extra she has picked up for two recent seconds

15:15 Chepstow Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Both Lady Wilberry and COOLEENYMORE dropped significant hints that their turn is close to hand with respectable second-placed finishes last time out. However, the form of the latter's effort looks more compelling and earns her the vote on her handicap bow. Pageant Material and Our Friend Mo are a couple of others capable of making the frame in an open event.

There was enough promise in OUR FRIEND MO's qualifying runs to suggest that she will have a big part to play now pitched into a handicap off a reasonable opening mark. She gets the nod ahead of Lady Wilberry, who hit the crossbar twice over fences during the spring and will be a threat if able to reproduce that form back in this sphere. Arctic Footprint could have a part to play, too, if the change of scenery (debut for new yard) perks her up and Cooleenymore is also considered.

Top of the list is COOLEENYMORE, who looked quite promising in novice company at around 2m4f in the spring and now moves up in trip.

LTO Selection:

15:25 Musselburgh Handicap Chase (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Fidelio Vallis is a decent sort but asking him to give 17lb to the race-fit CEDAR HILL may be a big ask. Wins in June and September for the selection were followed by a second to the classy Tommy's Oscar at Kelso, and if he can repeat that run he may prove hard to beat. Cracking Destiny has won over C&D and is another to consider.

This can go the way of FIDELIO VALLIS, who shaped as if as good as ever on his first outing since leaving Paul Nicholls when runner-up over C&D back in February and having gone well fresh in the past, he can go a place better following another absence. Cedar Hill arrives at the top of his game, so he's put forward as the main danger, with Dreams of Home taken to fill third spot.

Harry Derham had one win after a lengthy break at Ascot last weekend and FIDELIO VALLIS appeals most.

15:35 Warwick Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 26f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

HORIZON D'OR scored by just over two lengths at Ffos Las last month and he was given a 7lb rise for that success. The six-year-old has two wins from four starts for the Adam West stable and he could continue his upward curve to complete a double here. The main threat might be My Last Oscar, who disappointed when well supported for a class 3 event at Taunton on his latest outing in March and could get involved if putting his best foot forward. Of the remainder, Loch Garman Aris makes the most appeal after his second at Uttoxeter.

Plenty in with chances and it could pay to side with veteran BOBO MAC, who failed to get competitive last term after scoring at Chepstow but has been given a major chance by the handicapper ahead of his return. Horizon d'Or has made a fine start to life with Adam West so he may well emerge as the main danger, with R Bernard and Woodie Flash another couple fancied to go well.

Most of these have plenty to prove so HORIZON D'OR may well win again.

15:45 Dundalk Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SKONTONOVSKI just lost out by a short head over further at this track last Friday and compensation could be on the agenda. He is a horse that can be played fast and late, so his draw in gate 14 isn't a concern. Indiana Grey is a very consistent sort and Jack Kearney has a good record on her. The pair seem destined to be heavily involved. Storm Eric is a real credit to Jamie Flynn and brought up his second Dundalk success at the start of the month. He is capable of a strong showing despite the handicapper hiking him up 8lb for winning by a short head. Circles and Polytrack newcomer Master Garvey aren't out of it while second-reserve Hero Of The Hour is on a particularly threatening mark.

SKONTONOVSKI has an excellent track record and was clear of the remainder when runner-up here 5 days ago, so he's taken to go one better if the race doesn't come too soon. Jazzy Dancer and Storm Eric look the chief dangers.

A winner off 63 here in the past THERIVERRUNSDEEP is on the 47 mark now and may be able to take advantage

LTO Selection:

15:50 Chepstow Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CHAMPAGNE RHYTHM was officially rated 125 when winning his maiden hurdle over C&D in February 2021 and, although unsuccessful since, a rating of just 100 now looks more sensible on his return to action. Chankaya remains a maiden but could be a danger back on heavy ground, leaving the recent Hereford third Wot You Wearing as the best of those further down the handicap.

LEADING SWOOP found improvement when runner-up at Fontwell 9 months ago and, for all that he's not been seen since, he's worth chancing to go one better. Wot You Wearing should give his running again and Champagne Rhythm is one to note if the market speaks in his favour.

A chance is taken on CHAMPAGNE RHYTHM, who has been absent for a good while but showed useful form over C&D on slow ground as a novice.

Veteran who retains plenty of ability and ran well for a long way on his reappearance.
LTO Selection:

16:00 Musselburgh Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

MATCHLESS was beaten less than two lengths in a better race at Kelso in May and he has been kept busy on the Flat without success since. The five-year-old will be primed for his return to the smaller obstacles and gets the vote. Theatre Legend was caught close home over further at Sedgefield a month ago, while Cuban Cigar looks best of the Lucinda Russell pair.

A tricky event, in which the veteran VOIX DU REVE is fancy to resume winning ways having quickly slipped back near the mark from which he won at Ayr late last season. Theatre Legend missed the bulk of last season but went with plenty of enthusiasm when narrowly denied at Sedgefield last time and should be in the mix again provided there's no "bounce," whilst Collingham has a fine record fresh and held his form well last term, so also merits consideration.

Competitive. SCOTS POET shaped as though his Kelso run would bring him on and he's a hold-up horse who should have this run to suit.

16:10 Warwick NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Granny Hawkins shaped with plenty of promise to finish second at Southwell on her debut under Rules and, with normal progression, she ought to have a say. However, preference is for the 55,000-pound purchase BABY SHALLY, whose sister Victory Club struck on her first bumper start and, having won her sole point-to-point start, the daughter of Solder Of Fortune could make an impression for the Anthony Honeyball yard. Any market confidence behind Let It Rain would also be of interest.

LET IT RAIN could be another successful newcomer in bumpers for the Skeltons and gets the vote over Giver The Hollie and the experienced Marmalade Time, who shaped well at Worcester in the spring.

Some of the newcomers are interesting and BEHIND THE VEIL is from a yard with a good record in this bumper.

16:20 Dundalk Handicap 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This is quite a drop in class for SEA CHARIOT that he can take advantage of. He has been unplaced in his last three races on turf albeit at a higher level, but it is worth noting that he delivered in a median auction maiden over 7f at this track in March. The top-weight just gets into this race off a mark of 75 and should make his presence felt. Hijo De La Luna made steady improvement in three races on grass and can get involved on handicap and Polytrack debut. The progeny of his sire have a fair record on all-weather surfaces. Little Keilee has a close third at Dundalk in the formbook and arrives on the back of placed efforts at Bellewstown and Galway. Bottom-weight Hasten Slowly shouldn't be underestimated while Kempton winner Garrick Painter is one to note on his first start for Noel Kelly with Seamie Heffernan booked.

Another wide-open handicap and at forecast longer odds, it may pay to side with DROMANTINE, who is down to a career-low mark and has a first-time hood applied along with cheekpieces worn previously. Toughen Up produced a rare below-par performance at this track 4 months ago and he's feared most provide he's ready to roll. Handicap debutant Hijo de La Luna and Little Keilee complete the shortlist.

A tentative vote goes to recent claiming third HASTEN SLOWLY who will appreciate the return to this longer trip and has a good draw

16:25 Chepstow NH Flat Race (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Trainer Paul Nicholls has won three of the last five renewals of this race, and he has an interesting newcomer here in Jacobin, who is worthy of a market inspection, as well as Mount Gay Run, who looks the second string on jockey bookings. I SEE THE SEA cost 160,000 pounds after finishing second in an Irish point-to-point and he may also go well on his debut under Rules, as could Rocking Man.

A bumper full of newcomers and likely a decent one with some powerful yards represented, JACOBIN making the most appeal before market clues. His stablemate Mount Gay Run is another likely type along with point runner-up I See The Sea.

A very interesting bumper on paper. Irish point runner-up I SEE THE SEA is tentatively given the vote.

LTO Selection:

16:30 Kempton Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

There are plenty of interesting newcomers in this contest and marginal preference is for CLEAR STORM. The daughter of Storm The Stars is bred to relish this distance and is closely related to Mystic Pearl, who was a Listed winner. William Haggas could hardly have his string in better form at present and she looks the one to side with. Sant Alessio was only denied a neck on his debut over C&D and he should be bang there with that experience under his belt, while any market confidence behind Laser Sharp would be worth noting.

SANT ALESSIO made a promising start amidst greenness when runner-up at this C&D 3 weeks ago and he can build on that effort to go one better. Clear Storm is respected on debut with her yard having been been amongst the winners with their newcomers this month, while Into Battle is open to improvement with his first run behind him.

The one to beat is SANT ALESSIO on the back of his promising C&D debut second three weeks ago.

LTO Selection:

16:55 Dundalk Handicap 10.5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DOCTOR GRACE made up plenty of ground for fourth on her first attempt at this trip in September and there should be more to come from her. She has winning form over 7f at this track and gets first-time cheekpieces. Albatala has to be respected on Polytrack debut after being pipped by a nose in a Curragh handicap over this trip. Mosaaheb stayed on for third over 1m4f here in September, so has to enter the equation although the drop in trip doesn't look an obvious positive. Curzon Queen was only collared in the closing stages over C&D last month before finishing third. She is drawn to attack again in stall three. That was a slowly-run race, though, so the form could be suspect. Neverfindanother U won that race and jockey Robert Whearty can make use of his full claim in this contest. Chelmsford City-winner Mysterious Maestro is one to monitor in the market on Irish debut for Thomas Cleary.

The vote goes to EVENING VERSE, who hasn't got her head in front for a while but she has slipped back to her last winning mark. Mosaaheb put in a good shift back in this sphere when third over 1½m here last time and he merits respect, along with Albatala and Curzon Queen.

Last month's C&D winner NEVERFINDANOTHER U can confirm the form with Curzon Queen with her rider now able to use his full claim

17:00 Kempton Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

King's School showed enough ability when fourth on his debut at Newcastle to suggest he won't be long in shedding his maiden tag. However, preference is for EHTIRAM, a beautifully-bred daughter of Ribchester and this half-sister to the brilliant Baaeed represents powerful connections. She may improve as she steps up in distance, but this looks like a good starting point. Any market support for Belcamo, who is a son of Belardo, should be noted.

EHTIRAM is from a top-class Shadwell family and in a contest where those with experience don't set an overly high bar, she's taken to make a winning debut. King's School is most appealing of those with a run under their belt, having done well to reach the frame from a poor position at Newcastle last week, whilst Belcamo, one of 2 Andrew Balding newcomers, also makes appeal on paper.

This can go to the beautifully bred newcomer EHTIRAM, whose stable is having a fine year with its 2yos.

LTO Selection:

17:25 Dundalk Handicap 10.5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

ST CIANANS FIRE signalled a return to form when fourth at Navan in September. He races off a mark of 60 which is 1lb lower than when he obliged over C&D in November last year. Daniel King has been getting a tune out of Wajaaha with the pair placed on their last couple of appearances at this track. They ought to be in the thick of the action at the business end. Darkened was effective over C&D last month as he was just denied by a nose on the line. A reproduction of that run would have him right on the premises here.

ST CIANANS FIRE shaped with definite promise, not least with a view to this return to AW, when finishing a good fourth at Navan back in September and he could be ready to strike operating 1 lb below his last winning mark. Wajaaha and Nyota may emerge as the lead threats.

Winner of this race in 2022, ST CIANANS FIRE showed a timely return to form at Navan last time and gets the vote here from a good draw

LTO Selection:

17:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Couplet was well beaten when sixth in a class 4 event at Chester in September, but she looks an interesting contender on her all-weather debut, with first-time blinkers applied and James Doyle booked. However, the vote goes to ATLANTIS BLUE, who finished third in heavy conditions on her latest outing and was dropped 2lb for that effort. That leaves her 3lb lower than her third over 1m4f here on her penultimate start and she looks feasibly treated as a result. Of the remainder, Mother Margaret makes the most appeal on her handicap bow.

ROYAL DREAM could still be improving as he wasn't beaten that far at Wolverhampton last time, so remains of interest back from a break. The drop back in trip is potentially a good move for the free-going Atlantis Blue and she's next best ahead of Mother Margaret, who's bred to do some damage off an opening mark of 72.

The vote goes to ARCTICIAN who just about stays this far. The drop in grade can see him return to winning form.

LTO Selection:

18:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Blown Away can go well after being beaten half a length over C&D last month, despite a slow start and a blocked run at a crucial stage. He can get involved in first-time blinkers, but he has been upped 3lb for that and, as a result, has to give 4lb or more to his rivals. Magico may have more to come after getting off the mark at Pontefract, but SPEEDING BULLET is just preferred. Richard Hannon's gelding got up late when scoring over a furlong shorter under Oisin Murphy at Newmarket last month, suggesting this trip will be in his favour, and he looks capable of defying a 4lb higher mark.

The progressive BLOWN AWAY was unlucky not to win over C&D 4 weeks ago and he's fancied to make amends. Speeding Bullet made a winning nursery bow in gutsy fashion at Newmarket so is next best ahead of City of Delight, who looks to have been brought along with handicaps in mind.

Magico is a potential improver but BLOWN AWAY has good claims on his AW form, including over C&D.

18:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Honest Desire was beaten a length over C&D last month and has been gelded since, so he may get involved for Charlie Appleby who trained last year's winner of this race. He could go well but the 12 stall is not ideal, and preference is for the lightly-weighted CHARLIE MASON. A C&D winner in September and a fast-finishing third at Lingfield last month, he is upped in class but may find these conditions are just about perfect. All Agleam could also go close if she learns to settle better.

Several to consider in this competitive heat, with ALL AGLEAM topping the shortlist. She was unable to match strides with City House over C&D a fortnight ago, but that rival was clearly well ahead of his opening mark and she pulled nicely clear of the rest. The consistent Charlie Mason should be in the mix, while Sayidh Kingman, a decisive winner here when last seen three months ago, is also feared. Kodiac Thriller and Western are others who could have a say in the finish.

Preference is for CHARLIE MASON who is taking on better company, but this C&D winner should appreciate the return to a galloping track.

LTO Selection:

19:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 2) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

May Sonic likes it here, with three course wins to her name, and can be forgiven a poor last run on heavy ground at Haydock in September. He has won off higher marks than this and is hard to overlook, while Aramis Grey ran her best race for some time when beaten half a length in a conditions event over this C&D last month. She should give another good account on her return to handicap company, but PROP FORWARD is narrowly preferred. Three wins from four stats on the all-weather and a third at Goodwood on turf in May stand out, so the five-year-old could be the one to beat if fully wound up for his return.

PROP FORWARD has an excellent AW record and goes well fresh, so he's worth a chance to make a successful return from 6 months off. The in-form Aramis Grey, second in this last year, looks a danger and a return to form from Fresh would come as no surprise.

Aramis Grey ran a cracker last time but PROP FORWARD (nap) still has potential and can give the weight away all round.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

SLEEPING LION was no match for the high-class Trawlerman at Salisbury 54 days ago, but faces nothing of that calibre here and a return to winning ways could be imminent as the eight-year-old drops in grade. The Roger Charlton-trained gelding scored over this C&D when ridden by David Probert in February last year and could repeat the dose off a 3lb lower mark now reunited with that pilot. The in-form Divine Comedy can improve further now upped in trip, while Inuit is also respected on debut for Jamie Osbourne.

DIVINE COMEDY has excelled for her current stable and still looked comfortably ahead of the the handicapper when scoring at Nottingham last month, so she's a straightforward choice to notch up a fourth win of the campaign. Sleeping Lion is of interest dropping back in grade and Rainbow Dreamer is worthy of respect back from a break.

The vote goes to RAINBOW DREAMER whose record over C&D reads 11117127. He landed the AW Marathon Championship at Newcastle in April.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Geelong had a little in hand when scoring at Windsor last month and, as a previous C&D winner, he rates as shortlist material off 4lb higher. Glory Nights has also flourished of late and has scope to progress further now he is upped in trip. However, handicap debutant ST JUST IN TIME is the most intriguing option at this stage of the season and could provide a bit of value given his pedigree is crying out for this sterner test of stamina.

GLORY NIGHTS has got his act together of late, opening his account at Wolverhampton on his penultimate start prior to posting a very good second back at that venue 2 weeks ago. He gets the vote to come out on top now stepping back up in trip, with fellow in-form 4-y-o Geelong rating the lead threat. D Day Arvalenreeva and It's A Love Thing complete the shortlist.

The solid option here is GEELONG who arrives at the top of his game and should make another bold bid at a track which suits.

20:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The Cola Kid is versatile regarding the trip and, having won under Kevin Stott over 7f here last week, the top-weight is dangerous to underestimate despite dropping back a furlong under a 5lb penalty. However, his old rival BAMA LAMA has a handy pull at the weights judging by a couple of recent encounters and Rod Millman's gelding is the preferred option on the revised terms. Purple Poppy and Wadi Bani are a couple of others to monitor in the betting.

It's probably best to draw a line through BLUEBELLS BOY's latest effort at Chelmsford and, if judged on his good second at the same course on his penultimate start he holds strong claims. Rhubarb is 0-13 on the all-weather, but she's hit the crossbar four times on synthetics and will have every chance if acting on this surface (polytrack debut). Purple Poppy and The Cola Kid, who scored over 7f here last week, are others to consider.

The return to 6f and the addition of cheekpieces could see AGAPANTHER record her third course success.

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses.
