LTO Selection:

12:15 Sedgefield Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

EL JEFE found himself with too much to do when a never-nearer third over C&D last Thursday and compensation could await Andrew Hamilton's gelding in this smaller field. Port Or Starboard enjoyed a spin on the Flat when runner-up at Bath last month and the six-year-old makes some appeal back over hurdles, while it's too early to be writing off Attention All.

PORT OR STARBOARD doesn't have the best of strike rates, but he very rarely doesn't give his running and that could go a long way in this field, so he looks the most solid option. Attention All proved a bit disappointing after making a successful start over hurdles at Newcastle, but he still has time on his side so can't be written off, while El Jefe arrives in good heart and ought to be in the shake-up again.

There may be more to come from JERSAY DU TROTTET who was noted making late progress when fourth on handicap debut last time.

LTO Selection:

12:20 Punchestown Handicap Chase 25f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Just a nose separated Faith Loving (winner) and GREENWAY MACHINE (second) when the pair met at Fairyhouse nine days ago, but the latter, who is 3lb better off at the weights today, is fancied to reverse that form en route to success. He Fitz In arrives having posted back-to-back seconds and he must enter the reckoning, along with the consistent Fox Le Bel. Highstreetfashion might be 10lb higher than when winning this 12 months ago, but Patrick Rooney's gelding is unlikely to go down without a fight.

It's tough to put much confidence in a 27-race maiden, but FOX LE BEL ran creditably to place once more in the handicap Faith Loving won at Fairyhouse recently and with that outing sure to have blown away any cobwebs, he gets the tentative nod. The aforementioned Faith Loving showed a good attitude on his handicap bow so he heads up the dangers, with Greenway Machine and Da Big Fella taken to do battle for third.

Five members of this field clashed at Fairyhouse last week. However, none of these may cope with recent Galway second DA BIG FELLA

LTO Selection:

12:30 Market Rasen Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 17f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dr Seb could be interesting here after his Huntingdon second, but that was in March 2022 and a market watch may be worthwhile ahead of his belated return to action. Norman Fletcher was a beaten favourite when second at Ludlow and if he brushes up on his hurdling then he can go well, but preference is for FIERCE WARRIOR. The winner of his second bumper when scoring at Worcester comfortably enough, he is sure to have been well-schooled at the Nicky Henderson yard ahead of his hurdles debut and represents an in-form stable.

FIERCE WARRIOR made his second start in bumpers a winning one at Worcester back in May and ticking plenty of boxes now hurdling, he can make a successful return at the expense of Norman Fletcher, who has failed to impress in the jumping department but should be capable of better still. Olly Murphy saddles 4 and his Dr Seb looks the pick of his quartet, with Viva Valentina certainly worth a second look for the Skeltons.

Norman Fletcher has the best form but FIERCE WARRIOR is a strong alternative and Dr Seb is another interesting type.

LTO Selection:

12:40 Taunton Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

With precious little recent winning form on offer, it may pay to side with SASSIFIED, a winner at Fontwell in October but not at his best last time out when only seventh at Exeter. Elizabeth Gales claims 10lb off his back here which can only help and, as he seems fairly straightforward, the pair could come home in front. The booking of Freddie Gingell to ride Lightning Attack catches the eye and he could go well fresh off a mark just 4lb higher than his last success, while the consistent Lady Gwen may prove best of the rest.

It's worth giving another chance to UNCLE ARTHUR, who wasn't entirely disgraced at Chepstow last time and he will have every chance in this company if on-song. Sassified's claims will be enhanced should the rain stay away and he is next on the list ahead of Merry Monty. Stiletto thoroughly deserves to get his head in front and can be expected to do just that before long, but this significant drop back in trip may not be ideal.

This might go to UNCLE ARTHUR, who didn't have the race run to suit at Chepstow last month but travelled strongly for a long way.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LAHIRE proved a different proposition in first-time cheekpieces when making all over track and trip last month. Donald McCain's charge won with enough in hand that day to suggest that he can successfully shoulder a 7lb penalty. I'm Too Tired (second) wasn't far behind the selection and rates an obvious threat in receipt of weight, while Mandega displayed enough ability on the Flat to suggest that he could go well now debuting over timber.

I'M TOO TIRED has made a positive start to life over hurdles and looks to have been found a good opportunity to open his account with question marks over a number of his rivals. C&D winner Lahire rates the obvious threat despite conceding weight all round, with newcomer Cantalupo Bella another to consider, especially if the betting vibes are positive.

With the benefit of a 7lb pull I'M TOO TIRED is taken to reverse last month's C&D running with Lahire.

12:55 Punchestown Maiden Chase 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BUA BOY was last seen finishing down the field in the County Hurdle at the 2022 Cheltenham Festival and he has since switched to the in-form Philip M Byrne yard. The son of Doyen is the top-rated of this field over hurdles and warrants the utmost respect on his chase debut following a long absence. The main threat could be Bleu D'enfer, who failed to fire off a mark of 120 at Ayr but could show a lot more stepping into novice company. Of the remainder, Deployed makes the most appeal on his chasing bow.

ASLUKWOODHAVIT is in good hands and upped his game over hurdles at the end of last season. He is taken to make a winning chasing bow. Willywampus and Deployed are also of interest.

Henry de Bromheads's Tramore maiden winner ASLUKWUDHAVIT may have the winning of this on his chase debut

13:05 Market Rasen Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dairylane Daisy won her only point-to-point at Oldcastle and has to be of some interest ahead of her first start under Rules, as do Ludlow fourth Time In The Sun and Sedgefield second Southern Babylon, but a chance is taken on LOVE BITE. A sister to the decent Beat That, Nicky Henderson's mare has always been held in high regard at Seven Barrows, but she is yet to reward that faith on the track with a poor sixth at Southwell last time out. Off since June, she returns fresh and this may be the season she finally makes her mark.

There should be more to come from SOUTHERN BABYLON, who made a promising start in this discipline at Sedgefield last month. She gets the nod. Time In the Sun and Faha Belle head the list of dangers in what looks a competitive contest.

3m point winner SOUTHERN BABYLON kept on well for a promising second over 2m1f at Sedgefield and is taken to go one better.

13:15 Taunton Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Zonda showed plenty of promise when finishing third at Chepstow on his debut, despite some sketchy jumping, and if he learns from that, he may be a force to be reckoned with here. However, MATTERHORN has to give 7lb or more to all his rivals after winning over further here in March, which he followed with a Huntingdon second, but if he's ready to go after wind surgery, he may prove too classy for these opponents. Bumper winner Jukebox Annie is an interesting alternative on her hurdles debut, as is the consistent Titan Discovery, and they may challenge for the places.

Course-winner MATTERHORN sets the bar pretty high here and can make a winning return. Zonda is feared most after his encouraging Chepstow debut last month, whilst Titan Discovery and hurdling-debutant Tiny Tetley also enter calculations.

If his jumping issues have been ironed out, ZONDA could prove to be much better than on his Chepstow introduction. He gets the vote.

LTO Selection:

13:25 Sedgefield Handicap Chase (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Dual chase winner FAZAYTE displayed a willing attitude when fending off Misty Mani over hurdles at Market Rasen in September, and a 4lb rise on the return to the larger obstacles may not be enough to prevent the eight-year-old from going in again. Heartbreak Kid isn't the most reliable, but he's capable on his day, while The King Of May also makes some appeal reverting to fences.

A few in with a squeak but preference is for THE KING OF MAY, who took another step back in the right direction when third at Carlisle earlier this month and back in cheekpieces, Brian Ellison's 9-y-o can add a third course success to his tally back over the larger obstacles. Fazayte won over hurdles last time so he could well emerge as the main danger returned to chasing, with Neigh Botha seemingly best of the rest.

The vote goes to HEARTBREAK KID who has a good record here (11231) and has proved that he can go well fresh.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The majority of those with hurdling experience will need to find more than we have seen so far if they want to get the better of PACINI, who makes his debut for the in-form Gordon Elliott after winning his sole start on the Flat in Germany. He could be an above-average recruit and might make a winning start to his new career, possibly at the expense of Semblance Of Order. The Buratino gelding was decent enough on the Flat and could be the selection's biggest rival if he takes to obstacles, although Jeaniemacaroney is open to improvement and may surprise a few.

PACINI starts out hurdling for the red-hot Gordon Elliott team on the back of a debut success at Durtal so looks the way to go. Both Jeaniemacaroney and Eagles Reign have the form to play a part too and can chase home the selection in that order.

With Gordon Elliott's team in brilliant form French import PACINI, who should have no issues with going or trip, will be hard to beat

13:40 Market Rasen Handicap Chase (Class 4) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Picks Lad could be interesting on his first start for Harry Derham after being awarded the race at Taunton over hurdles last time out. He could go well if he takes to fences, but he may struggle to cope with SURE TOUCH, whose neck second at Ludlow last month gives him a potential race-fitness advantage. He has also had wind surgery which may bring about further improvement and, if that is the case, top-weight may not anchor him. Swapped is hard to ignore with three wins over fences already and he may better Brianna Rose in the race for third.

A few with chances but multiple hurdles winner SURE TOUCH failed only narrowly to make a winning chase debut at Ludlow and can build on it here at the chief expense of Riskintheground who also made a positive start over fences at Kempton and seems sure to be in the mix. Fencing newcomer Picks Lad commands plenty of respect too along with Shighness in an intriguing handicap.

Two-time course hurdles winner SHIGHNESS earns the vote now back here and back in a handicap on her second chase start.

13:50 Taunton Novices Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Trainer Paul Nicholls will be hoping that Panjari can go one better after his close-up second at Wincanton last month, and he looks a very serious rival to the returning DIESEL LINE. A once-raced son of Malinas who won his bumper very impressively at Exeter, he has had wind surgery ahead of his hurdling bow but he looked an exciting recruit and may go on from here to better things. Breaking Cover looks best of the rest judged on his Plumpton third, while Plaisir Des Flos could surprise a few on his first start for Fergal O'Brien.

PANJARI stepped up appreciably on his hurdling debut form when runner-up at Wincanton 18 days ago and is the obvious choice to go one better with further improvement on the cards. Diesel Line created a good impression when landing a bumper at Exeter on his debut back in April and rates the main threat, ahead of Breaking Cover.

The vote goes to DIESEL LINE, whose debut bumper win suggests he can follow up. Panjari is feared most.

14:00 Sedgefield Handicap Chase (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BREEZE OF WIND shaped with promise over 2m on his fencing bow three weeks ago at Carlisle, where he finished a staying-on third. Stuart Coltherd's charge ought to appreciate this step up in trip, being a half-brother to 2m4f-2m5f winner Golan Cloud, and any improvement can see the former point-to-point winner open his account. Striking Out was just touched off at Ludlow last time and he looks to be the main danger, while Divas Doyen is noted too.

BREEZE OF WIND stepped up on previous efforts when third at Carlisle on his chasing debut and, with further progress on the cards, he's preferred to the well-treated Striking Out, who almost landed a gamble at Ludlow 3 weeks ago. Blazing Hartingo is the best of the remainder.

The choice is BREEZE OF WIND (nap) who ran well when third on stable/chase debut at Carlisle last month. This should be more suitable.

14:05 Punchestown Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Ascending is likely to have his supporters after finishing a respectable fifth in the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham in March and Henry de Bromhead's gelding is sure to go close if running to a similar level on his seasonal bow. However, IT'S FOR ME may have the scope to reach higher heights after a cracking fifth in the Champion Bumper, and the five-year-old should take all of the beating if translating that ability to hurdles. Caldwell Potter makes most appeal of the remainder.

This looks like a good opportunity for ASCENDING, who was a promising second on debut in this sphere last December and wasn't disgraced in Grade 1 company thereafter, last seen finishing a creditable fifth of 15 in the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. It's For Me showed plenty in bumpers and is just about second choice, with Whimsy also high on the shortlist.

A very good standard is set here by last season's good juvenile ASCENDING, fifth in the Triumph Hurdle, and he can take beating

14:15 Market Rasen Handicap Chase (Class 5) 21f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Winning pointer HENRY GRAY hasn't been devoid of promise in his three novice hurdle appearances to date and strikes as the type who could excel now making his chase/handicap bow. The seven-year-old's opening mark of 92 looks potentially lenient and the step up in distance to an extended 2m5f can only aid his cause. Although Hokelami was unable to justify favouritism when fourth on his stable debut at Stratford in April, it's too early to rule Robbie Llewellyn's charge out now tried over fences. He's feared most, ahead of Mackie Dee.

HENRY GRAY was a bit underwhelming over hurdles but he's an ex-pointer who appeals as the sort to do much better as a chaser, so he's worth taking a chance on. Harry du Berlais looks to have his optimum conditions and is feared most, while Caro des Flos is also worthy of interest.

The very lightly raced point winner HENRY GRAY is open to improvement on this chase and handicap debut. Rosearelli is a danger.

14:25 Taunton Handicap Chase (Class 4) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

DR T J ECKLEBURG was able to put it all together when winning at Worcester in September and Evan Williams' gelding is fancied to double his tally from just a 1lb higher mark. The booking of Harry Cobden aboard Keep Running catches the eye and he could be a factor on this seasonal return, while Surtitle, who shaped with promise on his chasing bow last month, is also noted.

NON STOP has the physique to make a better chaser than hurdler and he's likely to come on for his recent chasing debut at Kempton, so he gets the nod over last-time-out winner Dr T J Eckleburg. Heros deserves a mention reappearing for a stable that is flying.

With a recent positive chasing introduction under his belt and the potential for improvement, SURTITLE is preferred.

14:35 Sedgefield Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TOSCAN GENIUS was no match for an impressive winner over track and trip a week ago, but this looks a good opportunity for Brian Ellison's gelding to go one better. Breizh River has shown a consistent level of form in bumpers and must be respected now sent over timer, along with Workhardplayhard, who makes his debut under Rules having won between the flags in February.

ELECTRIC JET showed enough in a couple of maiden points to make him of significant interest now hurdling for the Charlie Longsdon yard, and the hint should be taken if the market vibes surrounding this 4-y-o are upbeat. Toscan Genius shouldn't have too much trouble picking up a race in this sphere judged on his C&D effort last week and he is a much-respected main danger. Let's Go Joe and Workhardplayhard are others to consider, along with Breizh River.

The vote goes to TOSCAN GENIUS who finished a clear second behind a nice sort on hurdles debut over C&D seven days ago.

14:40 Punchestown Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

This looks a good opportunity for MISS PRONUNCIATION to follow up her taking success over 2m at Limerick last month. She races off a 9lb higher mark but won with plenty in hand that day and, being out of a Grade 3-winning dam, she has scope for plenty of further progress. The biggest threats may be Ellaat, a three-time hurdles winner who ran two good races on the level last month, and Perzzini. The latter showed promise when making all in a 2m maiden at Gowran in September and he can be forgiven unseating his rider over that same C&D on Saturday.

MISS PRONUNCIATION looked well ahead of the handicapper when scoring at Limerick last month and she makes plenty of appeal in the follow-up bid. Realism, in the same ownership, is of interest after a break and Team of Firsts looks open to improvement.

There could be more to come from MISS PRONUNCIATION who won snugly on her handicap debut at Limerick and is now 9lb higher

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

FOUND ON appeared freshened up by a break when scoring with something in hand here in September and, with fitness assured, Martin Keighley's mare might be able to complete a double on the switch to a Listed event. Galia Des Liteaux has some smart form at the highest level and she's likely to prove popular too. The seven-year-old isn't taken lightly and may give the selection with most to think about. Tweed Skirt could fare best of the remainder.

Much hinges on what happens weather-wise; drying ground will help FOUND ON, who produced a superb round of jumping, not to mention a career-best performance, when scoring on return here at the end of September. On that evidence she is well worth another try at this level and is taken to see off likely market leader Galia des Liteaux, who sets the standard but, in contrast to the selection, drying ground wouldn't aid her cause. Tweed Skirt is best of the rest.

Grade 2 novice chase winner GALIA DES LITEAUX goes well fresh and is the one to beat on her reappearance. Found On could go well.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

GEEZER ROCKSTAR comfortably defeated a subsequent hurdles winner on his sole bumper start in April and Harry Fry's four-year-old might be one to look out for during the upcoming jumps season. He can repel the likely challenge of Tinklers Hill, who bumped into a progressive type at Exeter when last seen. Sun Joy posted a series of creditable efforts when trained in France and he is worth a market check ahead of his stable debut.

Ben Pauling's French recruit SUN JOY has already shown some fairly useful form in this sphere so is fancied to put that experience to good use and fend off newcomers Tinklers Hill and Geezer Rockstar, who are both in good hands and bring plenty of potential in an intriguing maiden hurdle.

Top of the list is Harry Fry's GEEZER ROCKSTAR, who forged clear in a bumper here in April and could have a bright future over hurdles.

15:10 Sedgefield Handicap Chase (Class 5) 27f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SKYHILL bolted up by 10 lengths in heavy conditions over C&D when last seen in April and the veteran now returns to action off a 7lb higher mark. If he is ready to go, he could take some stopping. Ballylinch stayed on to be a two-length victor over this track and trip last month and has to be respected off only a 2lb higher rating, while Frankie Faulkner is another to consider.

This can go to last month's C&D winner BALLYLINCH, who has few miles on the clock and hasn't been harshly treated for that success. Fiston du Mou and Frankie Faulkner can also make their presence felt.

This can go to BALLYLINCH who remains unexposed over fences and is taken to confirm last month's C&D running with Fiston Du Mou.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LOUGHGLYNN didn't make much impression in the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham Festival when ninth, but he could prove a different proposition now switched to hurdles. The son of Vendangeur looks to have been found a suitable opportunity and could take all of the beating. Charity Barnum was still going well when falling three out at Navan when last seen in March and could have a say, while any market confidence behind Elusive Prince would be noteworthy on his debut under Rules.

The one with the most appealing credentials is CHARITY BARNUM, who showed ability in a couple of bumpers and was still bang there when exiting at third-last on his hurdles debut at Naas. Loughglynn could have a part to play, while stablemates Native Speaker and Elusive Prince also need a second look.

LOUGHGLYNN showed his potential when winning a Navan bumper last December and when not beaten far at Cheltenham. He is the one to beat

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MIKHAILOVICH went clear after the last to secure victory by over nine lengths at Huntingdon last month and he was hit with a 9lb rise for that effort. The son of Sholokhov was returning from a 196-day break on that occasion and he could come on further for that run, which makes him very much the one to beat. The main threat could be Wolfspear, who returned from a long absence to win nicely at Exeter and he would be foolish to dismiss off a 7lb higher rating. Eavesdropping warrants a market check on her return to action.

MIKHAILOVICH produced a much-improved performance to make a winning return at Huntingdon and he's fancied to follow up from a 9 lb higher mark. Wolfspear also made a winning return after more than a year off at Exeter last time and is feared most, whilst Annaharvey Lad looks open to progress now handicapping.

Having returned from a long absence with a win in a big field at Exeter last month, the unexposed 7yo WOLFSPEAR is taken to follow up.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

My Bad Lucy was all out to score by a neck in a bunch finish at Warwick in April and he should go well off a 2lb higher rating on his return to the fray. However, the vote goes to GETTHEPOT, who shaped as if a step back up to this distance would suit when staying on strongly to grab second at Exeter last month and he has been left on the same mark. The son of Getaway remains 5lb below his last winning rating and can record his fourth career success. Time To Bite and Delgany Monarch are others to consider.

MEECHLANDS MAGIC showed improved form on his second start over fences when getting off the mark at Worcester in October, but didn't get a chance to build on that effort when unseating early next time. He is taken to resume winning ways, though Getthepot took a step back in the right direction last time and is feared most, with Time To Bite and My Bad Lucy also considered.

An open race in which Debra Hamer's unexposed chaser MEECHLANDS MAGIC gets the vote ahead of Delgany Monarch and My Bad Lucy.

LTO Selection:

15:40 Sedgefield Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SPECIAL RATE was sent off at a generous 11/1, considering he was unbeaten in his previous three starts, last time when bolting up by 14 lengths. The son of Valirann is now switched back to hurdles, which shouldn't prevent another bold showing in his bid for a fifth straight victory. Chti Balko hit the crossbar in this grade at Southwell when last seen in May and should go well, while last week's winner Horn Cape can also get involved.

HORN CAPE showed a determined attitude to register a second course success here last week and, with the longer trip likely to be within range, he's taken to follow up off the same mark. Bonne Vitesse ran up to her best on her most recent Flat outing and has been given a chance by the assessor back over hurdles, with the fast-improving Special Rate also feared.

Preference is for SPECIAL RATE who won easily on his return from a break over fences here a week ago. He looks to be improving fast.

15:45 Punchestown Handicap Hurdle 21f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

Now that HUNTING BROOK has tasted success for the first time over timber, Gordon Elliott's charge could kick on. Representing a yard which can seemingly do no wrong at the moment, the Presenting gelding should have more in the locker and a 7lb penalty for his Down Royal win six days ago doesn't look enough to prevent another bold showing. I Am Spider Man tries cheekpieces for the first time and is noted, while Blenheim Belle, Hutchie and Birdsandthebees are others expected to go well.

HUNTING BROOK landed a gamble upped markedly in trip at Down Royal last week and looks capable of following up under a penalty with further improvement likely for his new stable. I Am Spider Man and Blenheim Belle are a couple of potential threats.

There should be more to come from HUNTING BROOK(nap) after winning at Down Royal on Friday and the drop in trip could well suit

LTO Selection:

15:51 Market Rasen Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Smart Connection produced a shock at 80/1 when getting up to score by a neck over 2m6f at Cartmel in August and he is an interesting contender off a 2lb higher rating. However, he may have to give best to MASTERDREAM, who did it very nicely when scoring by over five lengths at Hereford earlier in the month and he escapes a penalty for that conditional jockeys' handicap victory. High Grounds can fight it out for the minor honours, as he goes in first-time cheekpieces.

Upped in trip, MASTERDREAM showed improved form back over hurdles when landing a conditionals/amateurs event at Hereford 10 days ago and he can follow up racing off the same mark. Diamond Twin could be the main danger as he goes up in trip for his handicap debut, with Dynamic Kate completing the shortlist.

Last week's Hereford scorer MASTERDREAM (nap) escapes a penalty and he'll take plenty of beating if in the same form here.

16:05 Taunton Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ISABELLA BEE justified her very short odds to complete a double at Uttoxeter in September and she is now asked to compete off a 7lb higher mark. The daughter of Westerner could continue her improvement today and she looks the one to beat. Sinndarella was victorious by a length over 2m6f at Cartmel in August and could have a say off a 4lb higher rating, while Obsessedwithyou would be foolish to dismiss after her good fourth in a Grade 3 at Cheltenham when last seen in April.

A competitive mares handicap in which JAMINSKA is fancied to make a successful transition to handicap company after a trio of encouraging runs last season. Isabella Bee has the benefit of race fitness on her side and looks a major threat in bidding for the hat-trick, with Come On du Berlais, Our Nel and Parikarma others to consider.

Preference is for handicap debutante JAMINSKA (nap), who was 5l too good for second choice Obsessedwithyou at Hereford in January.

16:30 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Rising Force won here when wearing a first-time hood in September and hasn't been disgraced in two starts since, suggesting he could have some say in the finish. Hope Joanna has shown some ability despite failing to handle the heavy ground at Redcar, and she could go well on her nursery debut, but a chance is taken on GREGORINA. Her Newcastle third may be the best form on offer and first-time blinkers may bring her back to that level.

RISING FORCE was unlucky to bump into a big improver on his penultimate start and, having shaped as if still in good form at Kempton since, he remains of interest. Montecristo Gold and Gregorina look most interesting of the opposition.

The way MONTECRISTO GOLD kept on for third over 7f here last time suggested 1m could suit him and he can get off the mark.

17:00 Chelmsford Maiden (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ROCHELLE failed to justify favouritism on her debut over 7f at Newmarket in September but still shaped with plenty of promise in third and should have learned plenty from that experience. This looks a good opportunity for her to make it second-time lucky, with possibly most to fear from Dusk Dame and Kingmont. Market support for either of those two newcomers would be very interesting, especially the latter whose dam was Listed-placed and won at this venue.

ROCHELLE made a promising start when third in a big-field Newmarket maiden and looks very much the way to go here with improvement on the cards. Newcomers They and Post Rider are interesting and need monitoring in the betting.

This looks a good opportunity for ROCHELLE to build on her promising debut third at Newmarket.

LTO Selection:

17:30 Chelmsford Stakes (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Mick Appleby has been in amongst the winners recently and MARUNA contributed with a Newcastle victory earlier in the month. She travelled well throughout that day so the drop back in trip should not be an issue. David's Diva stayed on strongly when third at Southwell and should go well if getting a strong pace to aim at, though Moon Flight seems a bigger danger on the back of his latest second.

MOON FLIGHT showed the benefit of a hood when runner-up at Newcastle last time and can get off the mark here with the headgear again sported. Tayanna is next on the list on the back of her encouraging debut sixth, with Newcastle scorer Maruna and the returning David's Diva also in the mix.

The wind tweak may well enable ROGUE THUNDER to show some progress and get off the mark. David's Diva is second choice.

LTO Selection:

18:00 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Revolutionise was a model of consistency earlier in the year, as he hasn't finished out of the top three in his last five starts, and should go well on his return to action. However, the vote goes to HOT CHESNUT, who was a close-up fourth in a class 3 event at Newmarket last month and she was only raised 1lb for that effort. The daughter of Camacho struck over C&D in June and could be the one to beat. G'daay completes the shortlist.

RIOT is on a handy mark and finished to good effect behind Sir Oliver at Lingfield last week, so he's fancied to reverse form with that rival, who is also respected. Engelbert is less exposed than the aforementioned pair, so he warrants interest, too.

Fresh following an absence, this may prove the time to catch REVOLUTIONISE. Riot is feared most.

18:30 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Poetic Jack put in a solid effort to hit the frame over C&D last month and he has to be respected off the same mark. However, preference is for BRAZEN ARROW, who was far from disgraced in third over C&D last week and is now competing off a 1lb lower rating. The five-year-old looks ready to strike, while Little Red Dancer was third in a bunched finish at Newcastle recently and is another to note.

INTOXICATA is improving quickly and is taken to make it 3 wins from her last 4 outings. Poetic Jack is still lightly raced enough to think he may have an even bigger effort in his locker, while Last Date is going through a good spell at the moment and ought to remain competitive.

In-form INTOXICATA holds particularly strong claims back over 7f turned out quickly. Poetic Jack is second choice.

19:00 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This looks like an open contest, so marginal preference is for ADACE, who finished a close-up third over a mile here earlier in the month and she has been left on the same mark. The daughter of Adaay ought to go very close. Pontius failed to justify favouritism over C&D in August, but still put in a pleasing display to hit the frame and has to be considered. Outreach and Safe Passage are others to watch out for.

OUTREACH posted his best effort yet when going close at Wolverhampton last month and is taken to open his account off an unchanged mark. Next on the list is Adace, who was beaten less than a length into third over a mile here last time and shouldn't be inconvenienced by this drop back in trip. College Wizard and Fast Flo both make some each-way appeal, while Pontius would be a serious threat if resuming from a 15-month absence in top form.

Having gone close to winning his latest race, OUTREACH may be ready to strike. Indie Skies is feared most.

LTO Selection:

19:30 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

In an open event, a chance can be taken on TYGER BAY. Conrad Allen's charge, who is now 8lb below his last winning mark, was not disgraced in a sprint series qualifier at Kempton last month and must hold solid claims on that form. The unexposed Maxzeno, who is distantly related to smart sprinter Danzeno, ought to prove better than his current mark and must enter calculations. Others to note include Habooba and Impeach.

MAXZENO is leniently treated and shaped well from a poor position at Newmarket 13 days ago, so he's worth chancing having his first go on polytrack (good efforts both outings on tapeta). Belle Fourche is very much of interest on the back of an excusable run and Tyger Bay isn't without hope dropping in grade.

The vote goes the way of MAXZENO who shaped quite well when fourth over 5f at Newmarket recently and is another 2lb lower here.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The vote goes to DARLO PRIDE, who has been a model of consistency in recent starts. The son of Outstrip, a course winner on his penultimate outing, is able to compete off an unchanged mark having hit the woodwork at Lingfield last time, and the first-time visor could bring about further improvement. Q Twenty Boy and Lion Ring also arrive in good form and are taken seriously.

Plenty with claims here including DARLO PRIDE, who has upped his game in recent starts and remains on a workable mark. He gets the nod. Sparked and Lion Ring rate the principal dangers.

Solid DARLO PRIDE (nap) hasn't finished out of the first two in his last four runs and may well be able to get his head back in front.

LTO Selection:

20:30 Chelmsford Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

CRYPTOS DREAM has been in excellent form since coming over from Ireland in August, winning three of her last four starts. Jack Jones' filly has a 5lb penalty to contend with, but that might not be enough to stop her. Egoiste could mount another stern challenge, having struck over C&D in September, though a wide draw is far from ideal. Stintino Sunset, Duveen and Silver Bubble are just a few others to take into consideration.

CRYPTOS DREAM has done really well for her new yard and proved better than ever when winning here last week. She may be able to score again. Silver Bubble and Egoiste head the list of dangers.

Silver Bubble has a strong form chance but her draw could be awkward so she's taken on with the thriving CRYPTOS DREAM.
