13:50 Dundalk Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CLEVER IMPULSE was far from disgraced on debut over C&D last month and, given normal improvement, may prove difficult to beat. The Joseph O'Brien-trained filly was never really involved after a tardy start but kept on well to take fourth behind the impressive Orderofthephoenix. Dandy Lichious is the most experienced in the line-up with his five outings spanning the length of the season including when fourth to Asian Daze over this trip at the Curragh while Eddie G is another to consider. It will be interesting to see if the market speaks in favour of one of the newcomers with Step It Out, a 45,000 guineas daughter of Inns Of Court, and Celebrity Icon of particular interest.

CLEVER IMPULSE made an encouraging start here last month and is sure to progress, so looks the way to go. Step It Out and Celebrity Icon are interesting newcomers.

The experience gained by CLEVER IMPULSE may be enough to see her contain newcomers Step It Out and Celebrity Icon

LTO Selection:

14:20 Dundalk Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

OCEAN BLISS was noted staying on into mid-division behind Megarry on her debut in a 23-runner Curragh maiden back in August. It is of some concern that she hasn't been seen since but that maiden hasn't worked out too badly with the winner subsequently successful in a Listed race and the selection should be suited by this extra furlong. Ateenosix also showed promise on his only start over C&D last month, while Bergamasco is another for the shortlist following his third behind better fancied stable-companion Take Me To Church here a fortnight ago. Sumptuary Law beat all bar Orderofthephoenix here last month and that form may get a boost in division one while Little Lady Lucy, Sorrento Sky and Brackloon Bay are among the newcomers to note.

Probably not a strong maiden and LITTLE LADY LUCY might be able to make a successful start, with the betting likely to prove informative. Sumptuary Law and Bergamasco are dangerous.

LTO Selection:

14:30 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

EAGLE'S REALM gained a first success in this sphere when landing the spoils over 1m6f at Wolverhampton last month. A 3lb rise for the son of Free Eagle looks more than fair and the extended 2m of this contest could unlock further improvement. Trailblazer wasn't at his best when weakening into sixth here earlier in the month but he must enter calculations on previous form, while Show No Fear is entitled to build on his recent fifth-placed stable bow.

EAGLE'S REALM quickened up well from the rear to open his account in this sphere at Wolverhampton 19 days ago and a 3 lb rise doesn't look excessive, so he gets the nod to follow up. Ghadbbaan and Grifter head the dangers.

LTO Selection:

14:55 Dundalk Claimer 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BRAINS gained all bar one of his 11 UK wins on the all-weather and has continued to do well since joining Eric McNamara this summer. The selection adopted his customary front-running role when beating Pinball Wizard by eight lengths in a claimer over C&D a fortnight ago and ran a cracker in a handicap again over a mile here last Friday when only going down by half-a-length to Punk Poet. Pierre Lapin held a career high mark of 110 after winning the Group 2 Mill Reef Stakes as a juvenile but with a record of one win from his last 35 starts has tumbled down the ratings, although he appears to have found a level in recent outings. Venetian won twice for Mark and Charlie Johnston while Magnetic North completed a hat-trick in claimers this summer but has lost his way in recent months.

Hard to see past BRAINS, who won a similar contest easily here a fortnight ago before going close in a stronger handicap on Friday. Pierre Lapin and Venetian are a couple of the other key players.

A handsome C&D winner in this grade on his penultimate start BRAINS (nap) can be fancied to confirm form with Pinball Wizard

LTO Selection:

15:05 Newcastle Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

OWENS LAD has been in fair form over the past few months and the combination of a short break and a 1lb drop in the ratings may be enough to help the five-year-old regain the winning thread. Super Stars posted his best effort for current connections when only two lengths behind in fourth over C&D, and a similar level of performance should see the son of Sea The Stars in the mix. Great Colaci and Foshan are others to note in a wide-open affair.

The suggestion is LOCHNAVER, who caught the eye finishing with running left at Wolverhampton last month. Spirit of Ash has an excellent course record and seems likely to bounce back from a below-par effort, while Super Stars is another to consider.

15:30 Dundalk Maiden 8f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

NOT FORGOTTEN won a barrier trial here last year and has been consistent in five outings this term including when placed on all three visits to this venue. The selection had Nakassama a length behind when filling the runner-up spot behind the odds-on Persian Jewel earlier this month and a reproduction of that form may be good enough. Hokusai is held by Not Forgotten on running at Bellewstown this summer but has put in a couple of solid efforts since including behind favourite Pier Pressure here last Wednesday and is now fitted with blinkers for the first time. Hotaugustnight is probably best suited by a mile on a sound surface, while Miss Aytan was too keen on her only start in a Down Royal bumper.

NOT FORGOTTEN sets the standard on the pick of his form and this looks a good opportunity for him to finally shed his maiden status. Hotaugustnight and Hokusai are a couple with solid each-way claims.

FRANBERRI was value for further when opening her account in a maiden contest over track and trip, and she may be able to complete a double now entering handicaps. Quantum Cat was far from disgraced when runner-up at Wolverhampton and this mark looks workable. The Kitten's Joy colt may emerge as the chief threat, ahead of La Pulga and Chase The Dollar.

FRANBERRI caught the eye on debut and got right back on track when opening her account over C&D recently. She has the scope for a good deal better yet and takes preference over the in-form La Pulga and Quantum Cat.

15:45 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

With eight of the 12 declared arriving unraced, it could be folly to ignore the chances of Engineer, a winner on his second start when staying on well over this trip at Wolverhampton. He can go well, but he has to give 7lb to MUKAAFAH which may prove beyond him. Fourth on his debut at Yarmouth when sent off the 11/8 favourite, the soft ground looked against him there and he might come home in front on this surface. Morning Suit and Not Afraid may prove best of the newcomers.

This could go to a newcomer, with MORNING SUIT, Louis Barthas, Not Afraid and Gultari all making appeal on paper before market clues. Engineer was an easy winner at Wolverhampton and should go well again under a penalty.

Engineer appears to dominate among those who have raced but MUKAAFAH needs a close look. Watch out also for the newcomers.

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LITTLE KEILEE has been generally consistent this year including a win at Sligo in the spring and has put together a number of solid efforts recently including when very unlucky in running here last Wednesday. El Bello is bidding for a quick hat-trick after two C&D wins within the past fortnight and his narrow margins of victory have resulted in a combined rise of 11lb. The booking of Calum Hogan could prove inspired as he looked good value for his 10lb claim when successful aboard Fleetfootsoldier here earlier this month. Un Bacio Ancora was claimed by current connections after gaining a belated first win here last week while others to consider include three-time C&D winner Mullacash Buzz ,who is dropping down to an attractive mark, and Hero Of The Hour.

EL BELLO has rediscovered the winning habit since joining his new yard and remains feasibly treated on old form. He can complete the hat-trick. Hero of The Hour and Mullacash Buzz head the list of dangers.

16:15 Newcastle Handicap (Class 3) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

FANTASTIC FOX had been competing unsuccessfully in better races before being dropped in class for a confidence-boosting success at Chelmsford, and a 2lb rise may not stop him here. Eldrickjones will be dangerous after an eased-down victory at Newcastle last week. He should go well under his penalty, but Ron O had a terrible run in fourth that day and may reverse the form at these weights.

SHALADAR was given too much to do when a staying-on second to Eldrickjones at this course 8 days ago and, better off at the weights, he's fancied to reverse the form. Fantastic Fox also merits strong consideration.

Competitive. SHALADAR had a lot go wrong before closing in nicely in last week's race here won by Eldrickjones.

LTO Selection:

16:25 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

BIRKIE BOY ran on well under Olivia Tubb to win at Brighton and, although that form is nothing to write home about, he only has 3lb more here and could follow up if he handles the drop back in trip. Hearitfortheboys drops a grade for Nigel Tinkler for his nursery debut and may be worth a market check for any signs of confidence, while Perfect Spring might be worth another chance.

In a race where few arrive with compelling claims a chance is taken on PERFECT SPRING, who represents a leading trainer/jockey combination and may have more to give back from a break. Birkie Boy is respected as a last-time-out winner, while Ludberg is down to a mark he should be competitive from.

16:35 Dundalk Handicap 5f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

SAM'S XPRESS won twice here earlier this year including at this trip and indicated a return to the winners' enclosure could be imminent when a close third to Samrogue over C&D last time. The Kieran Cotter-trained gelding appears to really enjoy this surface and is fancied to reverse places with the surprise second Below Deck while a number of these rivals were behind on that occasion. Maggie McGrath gained a deserved win when showing good speed throughout in a maiden here last Friday and the cheek pieces are now replaced by first-time blinkers. Inishmot Prince also won over C&D last time recording a sixth success at the track, while No Speed Limit has dropped down to an attractive mark.

A chance is taken on KUWAIT DIRECTION who could be sharper with his recent first outing in 5 months behind him and has dropped to 4 lb below the mark he defied here at the beginning of the year. Sam's Xpress, Inishmot Prince and Coco Hill head the many possible dangers.

16:45 Newcastle Stakes (Class 5) 6f Race Class Flow

BALLSBRIDGE is likely to prove popular after he finished second at Naas for Aidan O'Brien last month. The well-related son of Lord Kanaloa has since changed hands for 20,000gns and can make a successful start for the Jennie Candlish team. Master Dandy caught the eye on his Southwell debut, when nearest at the finish in third, and if he learns from that as expected, he could mount a challenge. Ithra has some solid placed form to her name.

ITHRA couldn't quite match her yard debut form at Wolverhampton last time but holds the most solid credentials here and can get off the mark. Ballsbridge and Master Dandy look the likeliest dangers.

16:55 Kempton Stakes (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Muqinah looks a newcomer of note as a daughter of Frankel, but she is bred to come into her own over further as a three-year-old and may have to settle for a place for now. Uplift has more speed in her pedigree and may come out best of the unraced fillies, but FRIGHTENING is preferred. Third on her Nottingham debut on heavy ground after a slow start, she should be far better suited by these conditions.

A stack of interesting newcomers from top yards, but FRIGHTENING made a bright start at Nottingham 4 weeks ago and could be the way to go with improvement on the way. The betting may help sort the debutantes out, with Muqinah and Seek And Destroy a couple to note in particular.

The two with experience have already performed to a fair level and FRIGHTENING might be the answer.

LTO Selection:

17:05 Dundalk Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DOCTOR GRACE won in fine style over seven furlongs here back in February and, after a couple of races on turf, has again shown her liking for the surface when upped to this trip. She finished well from off the pace when beaten less than a length behind Dark Street and again filled fourth spot when fitted with cheek pieces last Wednesday. Blinkers are now applied and she should enjoy a fitness edge over Clever Capall who was just denied here earlier this year and now reappears after a nine months break. Say It So showed promise when a length third to Elsa's Pride in a 17-runner Cork event, while Gemini Man and Liberated Girl are others to consider.

DOCTOR GRACE has shaped better than the result on her last couple of starts and is on an appealing mark, so she's the obvious answer to this decidedly weak contest. Clever Capall is the obvious danger if fit and Liberated Girl warrants a mention having run well at Galway last time.

LTO Selection:

17:18 Newcastle Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SNASH arrives with a two-from-three record here, with both victories coming over this trip, the first of which was back in 2021 when he was rated 94 as opposed to the 70 he has in handicap company now. He won off 2lb lower here last month and seems to save his best for the all-weather tracks. Yesterday's Hero is lightly raced after three starts and might do better on his second appearance following a gelding operation. Selby's Pride has consistency on her side, albeit in lesser contests.

SNASH capitalised on the drop in grade in good style over C&D 15 days ago and remains well treated on old form, so he's the percentage call to follow up. Charencey took a big step forward when runner-up on his Leicester handicap debut last month and may do better still, while others to consider are Selby's Pride and Warminster.

LTO Selection:

17:30 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

It's tempting to side with Musical Act on the back of his 7f success in a similar race here in August. However, given that form has taken a few knocks and, with several well-bred debutants on show, there is good reason to look elsewhere. TAWAJJAH, a son of the mighty Frankel, appeals most of the newcomers and, with his yard boasting a commendable strike-rate with juveniles this year, he shades the vote. Fellow newcomers Candle Wax and Amsterdam also warrant betting checks.

MUSICAL ACT has to be the call on the back of his tidy win here at the end of the summer. The threat will probably come from newcomers, with Tawajjah, Candle Wax, Green Keeper and Lyric all making paper appeal.

Interesting newcomers TAWAJJAH, Lyric and Green Keeper head the shortlist. Musical Act is the form choice.

LTO Selection:

17:40 Dundalk Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MORNING APPROACH won a maiden here as a juvenile and also scored over a mile at Leopardstown last year. The selection has rarely raced beyond a mile but did go close over 1m2f at Cork last year and arguably ran her best race this year over nine furlongs at Leopardstown. Power Drive has built up a good association with Ciara Flynn at this venue winning three times and has dropped down to a reasonable mark. He should benefit from a recent outing in a Leopardstown charity race while Dark Street won over C&D on his penultimate start. Jalo won a maiden claimer here over six furlongs but is effective over further, while Bedelia has been mainly campaigned over hurdles since winning a claimer at Ballinrobe in June.

It's been a while since MORNING APPROACH last tasted success but in what looks a wide-open finale, Willie McCreery's mare gets the verdict to register her third career victory making a rare start on the all-weather these days. Power Drive's effort over C&D 8 months ago is easy to put a line through, so he could be the one to give the selection most to think about on return, with Dark Street and Rhythm And Tyne another couple worthy of a mention.

It could pay to side with MORNING APPROACH, unproven as yet over this far but runner-up over 1m1f at Leopardstown

17:50 Newcastle Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

MISTY BLUES finished a close-up third over C&D last month and she is able to go off the same mark. The daughter of Expert Eye brings the best recent form into this contest and she could prove tough to beat. The veteran Giogiobbo makes his return to action after a long absence and he could have a say if he is strong in the market, while Razzam is another to note as he lurks on a workable rating.

RAZZAM has been a bit disappointing the last twice, but it's still relatively early days with his current yard and, with his previous form reading well, he's well worth another chance. As If By Chance hasn't had that much racing on all-weather and could bounce back after a break, while Bellagio Man completes the shortlist.

18:00 Kempton Stakes (Class 4) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Expected to be wiser after a near miss on his debut at Salisbury last month, MATSURI could be hard to beat. A 700,000gns purchase, this son of Sea The Stars was possibly a touch too keen that day and a more professional display can be expected this time around. Rebaatt and Reveal are others with scope for improvement, while Cupid's Dream, a half-brother to the Listed-placed Al Aguila, is an appealing newcomer.

If MATSURI makes the expected improvement from his debut he'll set a good standard for the rest to aim at. Cupid's Dream and Sword are debutants from leading yards and would rate threats if the betting speaks in their favour. Brioni is another who showed plenty of promise on debut.

As regards the runners with experience, MATSURI holds the strongest claims. Interesting newcomer Sword is second choice.

TORCHLIGHT (second) had Abbey Gardens (fourth) behind when improving upon her debut effort last week and she is likely to have plenty more to come. That Kempton performance was Abbey Gardens' first day at the races so she should get closer to the selection on this occasion, without turning the tables. Inspiritus progressed to chase home a wide-margin winner at Windsor in a first-time hood and he completes the shortlist.

It's hard to look beyond TORCHLIGHT, who bumped into an above-average prospect at Kempton last week and John & Thady Gosden's filly looks capable of better again. Abbey Gardens and Flindrikin were fourth and seventh respectively in that same contest and may well emerge as the chief threats, with newcomer King's Vanity another worth keeping a close eye on.

Creme De Cacao, who is still unexposed in handicaps, needs to be taken seriously if she attracts good support in the betting on her first start since April. Epic Express is also dangerous to ignore, despite running off 5lb higher than his last winning mark (on turf). However, CHIFA was denied by just a head here nine days ago and, off the same mark, he has a live chance with Liam Wright back in the saddle.

CHIFA looked unlucky not to win when narowly denied at this C&D 9 days ago, just failing having been caught further back than ideal, so he is taken to return to winning ways this time around. Creme de Cacao is feared most as she makes only her second start in a handicap, while Epic Express also merits consideration.

Granted better fortune CHIFA could well gain compensation for missing out narrowly last week. Epic Express is second choice.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

INVERLOCHY got off the mark in an apprentices' race at Chelmsford last week and the daughter of Oasis Dream is able to compete off the same mark, which makes her very difficult to oppose. Daydream Express is an interesting contender on her handicap bow and in first-time cheekpieces, and she produced a solid effort over C&D on her debut. Of the remainder, Bowood makes the most appeal after his second over 7f here last month.

INVERLOCHY is going the right way now and, having opened her account at Chelmsford 8 days ago, she's likely to follow up if equally as effective on tapeta. Hey Lyla is a danger on the back of a good effort and Daydream Express is a likely improver on handicap debut.

This has been a solid campaign when at 7f; concern is that the handicapper has caught up.

(6) Urban Decay 9/1, Returned to all-weather, doubled her tally with a ready success in 8-runner handicap (6/1) at this C&D 3 weeks ago. Could be thereabouts again now that she's back on track.
Back up 4lb but has had just six races and made a telling late bid over C&D last time.
LTO Selection:

19:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

ORZO is the least exposed in this field and she showed plenty of promise on her handicap bow when third at Newmarket. The daughter of Aclaim struck on her debut over C&D and she looks the way to go. Wild Side filled the runner-up spot over C&D earlier in the month and she is likely to be in contention off a 1lb higher rating, while Urban Decay could also have a say.

After 4 months off, WILD SIDE got back on the up when second at this C&D a fortnight ago and she can build on that effort to gain a fourth success of the year. Heading the list of dangers is Orzo, who also ran well after an absence on her latest outing, with last-time-out C&D winner Urban Decay completing the shortlist.

The three to concentrate on may be ORZO, Urban Decay and Wild Side, who are preferred in that order.

LTO Selection:

19:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 3) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Enthrallment hit the crossbar in a class 4 event over 1m2f at Ascot in July and he has to be respected off a 3lb higher mark on his return to the all-weather. However, the vote goes to CAPITAL THEORY, who finished third over a furlong shorter earlier in the month and the handicapper may have been kind to leave his mark unchanged. Previous C&D winner Savvy Knight is another to keep an eye on.

ENTHRALLMENT is still lightly raced and came clear of the remainder when runner-up at Ascot 4 months ago. He's fancied to go one better at the possible expense of Capital Theory, who should get the early lead from stall 1. Haku is another one to consider.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

THE COLA KID recorded a double over C&D last week and he now has 5lb extra to carry. The six-year-old has Oisin Murphy taking over in the plate and could easily bring up the hat-trick. The main danger might be Annie Law, who struck over this C&D last month and should go well, while King Of Speed is another to note on his return to the all-weather.

THE COLA KID is on a roll and might be able to complete a quick hat-trick with Oisin Murphy doing the steering. Annie Law showed a good attitude to come out on top in a blanket finish over C&D last month and is second choice ahead of Mark Loughnane pair King of Speed and First Company.

It's not hard to knock most of these claims but ANNIE LAW looks solid to go well and The Cola Kid bids for a Kempton hat-trick.
