LTO Selection:

11:55 Musselburgh Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

OTTIZZINI struggled in Grade 3 company at Down Royal last time but her previous form, which includes a victory at Downpatrick in May, suggests that she could be hard to beat in a race of this nature. Quaresome may prove to be the biggest threat having won over 2m1f here earlier in the year, while Lavida Adiva is the pick of the remainder.

Irish challenger OTTIZZINI was flying too high when seventh in a Down Royal Grade 3 last time but holds much the best form and can quickly resume winning ways. Both The Kalooki Kid and Lavida Adiva have better days ahead of them and appeal as the duo to chase home Stuart Crawford's fairly useful mare in that order.

The mare OTTIZZINI showed good form to win a maiden hurdle at Downpatrick in May and earns the vote now back down in grade.

LTO Selection:

12:05 Lingfield Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

DEAR RALPHY appeared to win with plenty in hand when opening his account at Chepstow last week and a 7lb penalty may not be enough to prevent Anthony Honeyball's gelding from securing a quick-fire double. Fellow last-time-out winner Shewearsthewellies is progressive and could give the selection most to think about, ahead of Steal My Sunshine, who looks a potential improver upped in trip.

DEAR RALPHY opened his account in cosy fashion at Chepstow last week, so is the obvious choice to follow up under a penalty. Shewearsthewellies has displayed the odd quirk or two but she's 2 from 3 in handicaps and ought to go well again, as should Steal My Sunshine.

Another thorough stamina test looks in the offing with last-time-out winners SHEWEARSTHEWELLIES and Dear Ralphy taking each other on

LTO Selection:

12:10 Thurles Maiden Chase 18f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MONBEG PARK might beat some better-known hurdlers and win on chase debut. A debut point-to-point winner, he won well at the Punchestown festival in April and while 'just' a 137-rated hurdler, is built and bred for chasing so has potential in this sphere. Aspire Tower finished fourth as a five-year-old in the 2021 Champion Hurdle and should improve considerably from his recent reappearance, following 902 days off. He travelled with customary enthusiasm over 2m7f here last month before tiring but, being keen-going and Flat-bred, his task isn't straightforward on chase debut. Il Etait Temps himself won a February Grade 1 hurdle and is possibly best judged on his commendable fifth-placing in Cheltenham's Supreme Novices Hurdle - where some of Leopardstown's beaten horses turned form. Also keen, his hurdling technique was iffy but is another good chasing recruit. Ho My Lord has a tough task on chase debut.

IL ETAIT TEMPS showed plenty of class over hurdles last season and there's no reason why he won't take to chasing, so he's a confident choice. Monbeg Park is the main danger, although Aspire Tower strikes as the sort to do better over fences also.

On hurdle ratings MONBEG PARK has a bit to find but he appeals as a chasing type and will know his job coming from this source

LTO Selection:

12:17 Taunton Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

IZZY'S GREY went close to getting off the mark on her handicap debut when runner-up at Hereford in October and the step up to 3m is likely to yield further improvement. Top Cloud ran with credit when third at Huntingdon earlier in the month and the six-year-old warrants plenty of respect, while others to consider include Stiletto and Let's Go Amigo.

ABBEYHILL was suited by the step up in trip when landing a gamble from 4 lb out of the weights at Plumpton last week and, with the runner-up already franking the form, he's fancied to follow up under a penalty. Izzy's Grey was runner-up in a race at Hereford on his most recent outing that has worked out much better than expected, so he's feared on first start for a new stable, as is Stiletto, who's doing nothing wrong at present.

It's hard to get away from ABBEYHILL, who travelled strongly and was too good for a subsequent winner at Plumpton last week.

LTO Selection:

12:25 Musselburgh Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

LEAP YEAR LAD won twice on the level and the most recent of those victories came over 1m2f at Haydock in July. This is not a strong race for the grade and it would be no surprise to see Kevin Ryan's gelding make a winning hurdling debut with a clear round. Three Yorkshiremen has a similar profile to the selection and completes the shortlist along with Cofficionado.

The betting will obviously tell a tale given a couple are hurdling debutants, but preference is for THREE YORKSHIREMEN, who was a little expensive to follow for Richard Fahey but could well be up to making a winning start in this sphere for his new stable. There was enough promise in Cofficionado's hurdling debut effort, so he's put forward as the main danger, with Leap Year Lad rounding off the shortlist.

The Donald McCain-trained COFFICIONADO was a well-beaten fourth at Cartmel on his sole hurdle start but that was a warm race.

12:35 Lingfield Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Ramore Will was victorious on his return at this course last November and the veteran warrants consideration once again. However, a 3lb rise for his latest win in April may leave him vulnerable, while recent C&D winner Dysania has more on his plate from 3lb out of the handicap here. With that in mind, the most solid proposition is BOLINTLEA, who finished second at Worcester last month and that form has been boosted by the winner subsequently.

BOLINTLEA is one of the few here with a positive chasing profile so can build on her reappearance Worcester second and resume winning ways. Guguss Collonges rates the chief threat on the back of her good Fakenham second, with Bobalot and Ramore Will also worthy of consideration.

With some pretty dodgy claims among most of the others, RAMORE WILL has to make some appeal given what he achieved last season.

LTO Selection:

12:40 Thurles Conditions Chase 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

CAPODANNO was pulled up in the Grand National but should be ready on reappearance. Beaten eight lengths by stablemate Haut En Couleurs at Gowran in February, the selection is now 9lb better off and being a previous Grade 1 winner, possesses slightly more ability. Haut En Couleurs lacks a gear to be a top performer but was only six lengths away from giving Willie Mullins a first Cheltenham festival handicap chase win in March. He has course form, albeit when a final-fence faller in January, but a reproduction of that Grade 2 form should see him involved. Janidil, another stablemate, beat Haut En Couleurs 1.25 lengths in February and while race-fit, is 12lb worse off and wears a first-time tongue-tie. French Dynamite has a little to find with Haut En Coueleurs on that January course form although is 3lb better off. Farouk D'alene returned from 613 days off when falling at the first in the Troytown and is possibly best watched, despite being a dual Grade 2 winner. James Du Berlais, under his owners' retained jockey, was Grade 1-placed in April and holds Classic Getaway on that form.

FRENCH DYNAMITE is a high-class chaser on his day and has gone well fresh before so he might be worth siding with to see off the Willie Mullins battalion, headed by Capodanno, Haut en Couleurs and Janidil.

On the forecast yielding ground FRENCH DYNAMITE may prove equal to the challenge posed by a five-strong Mullins team

This is the last opportunity for MATTERHORN to run in novice company, having won here over further in March, and the five-year-old, who returned with a fluent success over C&D a fortnight ago, is likely to be too strong for the opposition. Go To War was about to challenge when unseating his rider three out at Exeter and may prove the chief threat with a clear round. Ballee shaped with promise when third at Wincanton and is entitled to progress from that display.

MATTERHORN wasn't extended to land the odds on his return over C&D a fortnight ago and, providing this doesn't come too soon, he looks up to defying a double penalty. Go To War looked set to be involved in the finish at the very least when jinking and unseating his rider approaching 3 out on his hurdles debut at Exeter and retains plenty of potential based on his bumper exploits, while Balee should have benefited from a considerate introduction to hurdling at Wincanton and can fill the places.

Matterhorn is no good thing under a double penalty and both GO TO WAR and Ballee should give him plenty to think about.

RESTANDBETHANKFUL struggled when out of the handicap in a better race over C&D last time, but his previous form suggest that the seven-year-old could play a leading role in this company. Garde Des Champs looks to be the biggest threat following an encouraging effort at Wetherby a month ago, while Mint Gold should not be underestimated on his return to action.

Successful over hurdles at Perth during the summer, there was enough encouragement from GARDE DES CHAMPS chase debut third at Wetherby 6 weeks ago to think he can do better in this sphere and he earns the vote to come out on top. Restandbethankful and Neigh Botha head up the dangers.

Having run well in front for a long way over 2m3f at Sedgefield recently, NEIGH BOTHA could come out on top now back down in trip.

Although WEAVER'S ANSWER was disappointing when only eighth at Exeter when last seen, the five-year-old may have found that appearance was too soon after his previous triumph at Uttoxeter and he can be given another chance. Hi Riko posted his best effort to date when runner-up on his most recent outing and is feared most, although Herakles Westwood could be interesting if his supporters return after a lacklustre effort at Ffos Las recently.

HI RIKO found only one too good despite his rider dropping her whip at Uttoxeter 12 days ago so, with Gavin Sheehan taking over, he could go one better. Embolden is a danger on the back of a solid showing at Plumpton and Weaver's Answer can't be dismissed.

There was plenty to like about HI RIKO (nap) over 2m4f last time and he is selected to go one better in what looks a weak race.

13:15 Thurles Handicap Chase 22f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DUNDANIEL ran well from 3lb out of the handicap in a better race last Sunday and might now defy top weight. He was beaten just 3.5 lengths in Sunday's race and while his quick reappearance isn't ideal, is helped by stepping up a furlong and runs from a favourable rating. Reddys Island, a four-year-old point-to-point winner in 2021, returned to form recently and ran well in two recent northern chases. She is 3lb higher than when third at Down Royal but also drops in class today. Ardera Ru was beaten from a career high mark at Naas but being an October course winner, might fare better here. Toofareastiswest wasn't beaten far here last week and steps back up in trip while Black Samurai returned to form at Punchestown. Dorans River was well beaten at Listowel in September and while rated 18lb lower in this sphere than over hurdles, is a 13-year-old. Getaway Train failed to land a gamble in February but might do better over fences.

A few in with a squeak but the vote goes to DORANS RIVER, who was clearly in great heart despite his advancing years during the summer and operating from a much lower chase mark returning from a break, he can notch a fourth success of the year. Gordon Elliott couldn't be in much better form and his Reddys Island can chase home the selection, ahead of Dundaniel and Ardera Ru.

Providing Sunday's Cork outing has not left a mark DUNDANIEL has sound prospects of conceding weight to his rivals in this lesser race

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

WALKINTHEWOODS nearly made the ideal start to life over fences when just denied by a neck at Ffos Las last week and the six-year-old, who is 3lb well-in on this occasion, boasts strong credentials in his bid to go one better. Proper Twelve's second at Plumpton earlier in the month gives him every chance of a decent showing, while stepping back up in trip is likely to benefit Hardy Boy.

WALKINTHEWOODS took his form up another notch sent chasing at Ffos Las last week, giving best only to a well-treated sort and pulling clear of the rest, and has obvious claims off the same mark if this doesn't come too soon. Langley Hundred made a promising start over fences when second at Ludlow on his comeback and is feared with improvement likely, with the reliable Hardy Boy best of the others.

The answer might be HARDY BOY, who moves back up to 2m7f after finishing well over 2m3f at Doncaster a fortnight ago.

LTO Selection:

13:35 Musselburgh Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

NOWINITTOWINIT made her first handicap start a victorious one when beating her two rivals in comprehensive fashion at Perth when last seen in May. The daughter of Flemensfirth makes her return to the fray off a 2lb higher mark and she should have no issues with this drop in trip. The main danger is Autumn Return, who put in a solid effort to finish second over 2m at Kelso last time, while Never No Trouble is a consistent performer and isn't ruled out either.

AUTUMN RETURN shaped well at Kelso on reappearance and, back up in trip with Brian Hughes booked, she makes plenty of appeal. Nowinittowinit is an obvious danger in the hat-trick bid and Never No Trouble can't be dismissed.

With a return to this trip looking positive, topweight AUTUMN RETURN looks capable of continuing her upward curve.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Schmilsson was well-held when third on his hurdling debut at Stratford last month but he is entitled to improve for that experience. However, preference is for PARADIAS, who is rated 94 on the Flat and if he can transfer that ability to this sphere, then he would be the one to beat. Any market support for The Good Doctor on his UK debut would also be of interest.

PARADIAS was useful on the level and has every chance of being at least as good over hurdles given the yard he's from. The Good Doctor is an interesting recruit from France, as is Loverdose back from 19 months off.

Talented Flat performer PARADIAS is a very interesting recruit to hurdling and is taken to make a winning debut in this code.

LTO Selection:

13:50 Thurles Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

LOMBRON debuts for Willie Mullins having finished third on his only previous run, in an April hurdle. That Compiegne race is difficult to assess but the fourth-placed horse won an Auteuil chase subsequently and it is very encouraging he reappears in November with Paul Townend booked. Joyeux Vivo and Nathan Wells were separated by a neck when finishing second and third respectively to an impressive winner at Gowran recently. Joyeux Vivo was reappearing and Nathan Wells was debuting, so improvement can be expected from both but are nonetheless vulnerable to smart types. Whimsy ran well on Galway hurdles debut but faces a tougher task while Dollar Nolimit (beaten by Joyeux Vivo at Punchestown in April) can improve from a recent hurdles debut. Bobbi Gin Tree should improve from debut while stablemate and third-reserve The Great Unknown is from the family of Rhinestone Cowboy and ran well on point-to-point debut.

LOMBRON looks an interesting recruit from France and can make a winning start for his top stable. There are plenty of potential improvers in opposition, headed by Joyeux Vivo and Nathan Wells.

An interesting rematch between Joyeux Vivo and NATHAN WELLS, the latter taken to overturn Gowran form

14:00 Taunton Handicap Hurdle (Class 3) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Will Carver was last seen finishing third at Kempton in February when returning from a long absence and he could have a say off a 3lb lower rating. However, the one to side with is FOREVER WILLIAM, who has match fitness on his side after striking by a half-length at Plumpton earlier in the month and he only has a 3lb higher mark to contend with. The five-year-old has proven to be competitive off this rating previously and he could prove hard to beat. Afadil is another to consider in first-time cheekpieces.

WILL CARVER shaped as if retaining all his ability back from a long absence at Kempton in February and could make up for lost time this season. Bashful Boy might have found Cheltenham coming too soon after his big effort in the Cesarewitch so is worth another chance, while Forever William looked better than ever when making a winning return at Plumpton.

Chasing is reportedly on the agenda for WILL CARVER but he might take this en route as a case can be made for him being well treated.

LTO Selection:

14:10 Musselburgh Handicap Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Bix Beiderbecke got off the mark on only his second start over hurdles at Perth in May and he rates an interesting contender off a rating of 111 on his handicap bow. However, SCOTS POET looks the way to go, as he put in a very pleasing display to only be denied by two lengths into second over C&D in a tougher contest than this last time. Ip Up completes the shortlist off a 7lb higher mark than her victory at Fakenham.

BASHFUL has been an improved performer on the Flat this year, suggesting he could be on a good mark back hurdling from a mark in the mid-90s. Ip Up is an obvious danger on the back of last week's comfortable Fakenham success, while Perth novice winner Bix Beiderbecke is a potential improver in handicaps.

It is hard to oppose IP UP (nap), who bolted up at Fakenham recently and should be tough to beat under a 7lb penalty.

LTO Selection:

14:20 Lingfield Handicap Chase (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Heva Rose is likely to have her supporters after justify favouritism by just over four lengths at Lingfield last time and she is likely to be hard to keep out of contention. However, the vote goes to PASSING WELL, who ran with credit when second in a higher grade at Ascot earlier in the month. The son of Coastal Path can regain the winning thread at this easier level. Of the remainder, Thor De Cerisy makes the most appeal.

HEVA ROSE left her hurdles exploits for her present yard in her wake as she impressively made a winning return to action in a C&D handicap 9 days ago and she holds serious claims of following up under a penalty. Likely improver Passing Well may well emerge as the chief threat.

The mare HEVA ROSE returned with a ready win over C&D last Tuesday on her first British chase start and should take plenty of beating.

LTO Selection:

14:25 Thurles Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

FUN FUN FUN should prove hard to beat here if taking to hurdling on her jumping bow. The Martaline mare was among the leading fancies for the Cheltenham bumper following an impressive demolition job in the Grade 2 mares contest at Leopardstown last February. She made little impression at Cheltenham, and was turned over at a short price at Punchestown subsequently, but remains an exciting prospect given the level of ability she has shown. Gaillimh A Run was also a dual bumper winner and wasn't disgraced when sixth in the Grade 2 contest at Aintree. She could be the one to give the selection most to do. Rockstown Girl already has hurdling experience, having been a fine second to Leah Tricks at Fairyhouse early last month. She also has to be on the shortlist.

FUN FUN FUN and Gaillimh A Run both showed plenty in bumpers and rate good hurdle prospects, but preference is for the former, who quickened clear of her rivals in taking fashion in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown in February. Rockstown Girl was let down by some novicey mistakes on her hurdling debut at Fairyhouse and she shouldn't be taken lightly with that initial experience behind her.

Patrick Mullins maintains a link with FUN FUN FUN that has yielded two wins and a Grade 3 fourth. If she settles well, she should score

LTO Selection:

14:35 Taunton Handicap Chase (Class 5) 18f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ABINGWORTH was miles clear of the third when failing to lower the colours of warm favourite Regarde at Huntingdon earlier in the month, but that was an encouraging effort on only his second chase start. The five-year-old could prove difficult to stop in this contest off only a 2lb higher mark. The main threats come from last-time-out winner Famoso, who struck by half a length at Ludlow, and My Rockstar.

Not so competitive as the numbers suggest and FAMOSO is taken to defy a 5 lb rise for his recent Ludlow success given he had something left in the tank there. Abingworth rates a big threat on the back of his strong-travelling Huntingdon second, with course winner Flash Gorcombe and the returning My Rockstar appealing as the pick of the rest for minor honours.

He has not looked a natural chaser but ABINGWORTH ran a big race in defeat behind a very progressive rival at Huntingdon 16 days ago.

LTO Selection:

14:45 Musselburgh Handicap Chase (Class 3) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

HALF SHOT has recorded some fair form in deeper contests and could put his mishap, when unseating his rider in the Grand Sefton at Aintree recently, behind him at this lower level. Irish raider Archies Charm has posted creditable efforts in defeat at Gowran and Down Royal in recent months and the eight-year-old may give the selection most to think about, ahead of Inis Oirr.

MAGNA SAM couldn't have enjoyed much more of an upturn than he did in a couple of outings for Alastair Ralph last term, winning here in February before an excellent fifth in the Scottish National at Ayr (shaped second best for much of the way), and he can make it 4 from 4 at this track back down in class. Half Shot looks set for another good season, while Inis Oirr remains with potential in this sphere.

One of few who don't have anything to prove is MAGNA SAM, who goes well here, when fresh and remains of interest from this mark.

14:55 Lingfield Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

COCO MADEMOISELLE filled the runner-up spot on her hurdling debut at Stratford when shaping as if she would benefit from the outing. Dan Skelton's mare is unlikely to be inconvenienced by a drop in trip and she can be expected to go one better. Sweet Honey B went close to making a winning Rules debut in an Aintree bumper last month and she has to enter calculations. Melusine De Pail and Quite The Getaway are others capable of being in the mix.

Cases can be made for a few of these but having found just one too strong on her recent hurdling debut, COCO MADEMOISELLE is fancied to go a place better at the expense of Melusine de Pail, who also shaped encouragingly when third at Ludlow last month and looks sure to improve on that initial effort. The progressive Phone Home and hurdling debutante Bluella Bresil can do battle for third.

This field contains plenty of candidates with notable promise, including MELUSINE DE PAIL, Sweet Honey B and Coco Mademoiselle.

15:00 Thurles Maiden Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DADDY LONG LEGS was just denied when staying on strongly on his sole outing on the Flat in his native France and could be another nice pick up for Willie Mullins. The Almanzor gelding showed a nice attitude first time up when going down by a short-head at Saint-Cloud in May 2022 and cost 210,000 euros at the sales subsequently. Cleatus Poolaw was turned over at a short price on his 'track' debut but looked a touch green then and the point-to-point winner could improve for going over an obstacle now. Irish Panther has been knocking on the door and had some strong bumper form. He was no match for Farren Glory on his hurdling debut at Clonmel three weeks ago and needs to step forward from that.

The market should prove a valuable guide but Willie Mullins' newcomer DADDY LONG LEGS, who showed plenty of promise on his sole Flat run in France, is fancied to make a winning start in this sphere. Irish Panther rates a big threat but might have to settle for second once more, with Gordon Elliott's hurdling debutant Cleatus Poolaw also well in the mix in an intriguing maiden.

Willie Mullins introduces DADDY LONG LEGS, touched off in a Saint-Cloud Flat maiden and who is Grade 1-entered at Christmas

15:10 Taunton Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Although SAILED AWAY was foiled in his bid to make his handicap bow at Fakenham a winning one, there was plenty of encouragement to be taken from that runner-up effort and compensation could await off only 1lb higher. Imperial Measure cannot be taken lightly given how well the form of his recent Exeter third has worked out. Gyllen may offer some value as an each-way alternative.

IMPERIAL MEASURE arrives at the top of his game and looks the way to go with the form of his recent Exeter third proving really strong. Sailed Away rates much the biggest danger on the back of a promising Fakenham second when reunited with Stuart Edmunds. In-form maidens Gyllen and Atreides need considering for place purposes.

Sailed Away and ATREIDES come here after finishing second on their handicap debuts and both have scope for further progress.

15:20 Musselburgh Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

C&D winner RICKETY GATE ran arguably his best race to date when finishing third over track and trip earlier in the month and a similar level of performance dropping in grade may suffice. Shantou Moon is entitled to improve on his reappearance fifth over 2m5f at Kelso recently, with this stiffer test of stamina expected to suit. Tristan Davidson's inmate shouldn't be underestimated, while Native Fighter and Misscarlett won't be far away either.

The Sandy Thomson stable has been showing much better signs in recent days, so THEIRSHEGOES gets the nod to build on an encouraging return at Kelso and open her account. Native Fighter hasn't won for a long time but stopped the slide at Cartmel in August and is too well handicapped to ignore. C&D winner Rickety Gate completes the shortlist.

The mare THEIRSHEGOES has laid down a marker for this and represents a trainer whose string look to be back in good form.

TEMPLIER made a winning return to action at Fakenham last week and the 10-year-old, who also won twice in March, makes plenty of appeal once again, despite shouldering a 7lb penalty. Calidad was fancied to give a decent account when falling on the same card as the selection and Lawney Hill's gelding is entitled to leave that effort behind, while Robins Field appeals most of the remainder.

IMPERIAL HOPE made little impact in 3 handicap chases for Oliver Sherwood but this 7-y-o showed plenty of ability at the start of his career and appeals as one who could get back on track for his new yard, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Icare Grandchamp was a lot better than the result at Plumpton and is a potentially dangerous opponent now chasing. Robins Field could strip fitter with a recent outing under his belt and also merits respect.

Bradley Roberts is good value for his 5lb claim and his mount TEMPLIER can defy a 7lb penalty and follow up his recent win at Fakenham.

15:35 Thurles Handicap Hurdle 16f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

HERCULANEUM was given a fine ride by Oran McGill to score here a week ago and may be able to follow up under his penalty. The Australia gelding travelled well down the straight and was produced with a well-timed challenge to lead on the run-in. He was value for a bit more than his winning margin of a neck. Dual course and distance winner Port Rashid didn't make much impression on heavy ground at Tramore last time and could get a lot closer now on a better surface. Be My Hero has been taken out a few times recently because of testing ground and is another that could figure here now.

HERCULANEUM confirmed the promise of his recent hurdle runs when coming out on top under a well-judged ride here 7 days ago and he could be the way to go under a penalty. Be My Hero for Gordon Elliott and Port Rashid are others to consider, whilst Out of The Park also makes some appeal on just her second start in handicaps.

Successful here last week under a well-judged hold-up ride HERCULANEUM is taken to defy a 7lb penalty

Sinurita

Has twice finished weakly since her second of ten at Bangor in August.
LTO Selection:

15:45 Taunton Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Karakoram has been slowly returning to form if his recent third-placed finish over 2m7f at Exeter is anything to go by, and this dual course winner must enter calculations. However, EDE'IFFS ROCK boasts a lightly-raced profile and she is fancied to go one place better than her runner-up effort at Plumpton. Bill Turner's mare races off the same mark and another bold bid is anticipated. Sawpit Sienna is also of interest.

EDE'IFFS ROCK arrives having produced her best effort yet when second on handicap debut at Plumpton 10 days ago and, with this longer trip promising to suit, she looks to hold sound claims from the same mark. Sinurita may be sharper for her latest run at Fakenham and is feared along with Noble Savage. Karakoram is another not dismissed out of hand.

Ede'Iffs Rock is solid but NOBLE SAVAGE (nap) is preferred after running well over a trip short of his best at Hereford.
