There were 36 Races on Friday 6th December 2024 across 5 meetings. There was 7 races at Exeter, 6 races at Sedgefield, 6 races at Sandown, 9 races at Newcastle, 8 races at Dundalk, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

Last-time-out C&D winner Sindabella rarely runs a bad race at this venue and another bold showing looks likely. However, a 6lb rise in the ratings may be enough to prevent the eight-year-old from following up and it could be worth taking a chance on GALACTIC GLOW. Joe Tickle's gelding was third in a race won by a subsequent winner at Taunton, with another right behind him, and he could be ready to open his account in this discipline. Sassified and Our Dylan are also noted.

This is wide open but ONEFORTHEFAIRGREEN gave the strong impression this step up in trip would suit when runner-up at Leicester last time out so edges the vote. Sassified heads the list of dangers on the back of his good recent Taunton second, although Our Dylan, Brownstone and Sindabella all need factoring in too.

The step back up in trip could be ideal for the unexposed mare ONEFORTHEFAIRGREEN and she earns the vote ahead of Sassified.

PLANTAROMA lost little in defeat when finishing runner-up to a potentially smart sort on her hurdles debut at Chepstow last month and, with that experience under her belt, she may prove tough to stop here. Point-to-point winner Idaho Valley shaped with promise when third on his timber bow at Carlisle and he can emerge as the main danger to the selection. Recent C&D runner-up Kingston Narcissus completes the shortlist.

Tom Symonds has his team in form and PLANTAROMA may provide him with another winner on the back of her promising first attempt over hurdles at Chepstow last month. Kingston Narcissus can fill the forecast spot here again, with Donald McCain's Idaho Valley next on the list.

Idaho Valley and Kingston Narcissus are players but Chepstow runner-up PLANTAROMA arguably has the most compelling form.
Class & Speed Card

A 7f winner on the Flat, HOT FUSS made a promising debut over hurdles when second to East India Dock at Wincanton. The latter has subsequently returned an impressive winner of a Grade 2 contest at Cheltenham, so Tom Dascombe's charge looks the one to side with on the strength of that form. City Of London finished a creditable runner-up at Chepstow considering that was his racecourse bow and he can feature again. Small Fry is a likely improver and is preferred to the penalised See The Green.

An interesting juvenile, although it's still hard to ignore the claims of HOT FUSS who gave last month's Cheltenham Grade 2 winner East India Dock a race on his Wincanton hurdle debut in October. City of London should build on his opening run at Chepstow, while Melon and Galactic Charm have done enough on the Flat to think they can do well in juvenile hurdles.

Having bumped into subsequent Grade 2 winner East India Dock when second on his hurdle debut at Wincanton, HOT FUSS can go one better.
Class & Speed Card

Having found only a progressive opponent too strong on his first attempt over fences at Bangor, compensation could beckon for LOWRY'S BAR. Although the six-year-old has a 4lb higher mark to contend with, he may find enough improvement to defy that rise. Lord Of Thunder was still in touch when falling two out on his chase bow at Cheltenham in October and he's feared most, ahead of dual C&D winner Stormy Flight.

Preference is for LOWRY'S BAR, who ran a cracker on his chasing bow at Bangor last month and remains with potential over the larger obstacles. Lord of Thunder would have gone close, but for coming down late on, on his Cheltenham chase debut and is feared most, whilst Garincha is also much respected.

Everything had gone fine for LORD OF THUNDER (nap) until falling late on at Cheltenham and he looks very well handicapped.
Class & Speed Card

Although his jumping could do with some brushing up, there is no doubting that triple bumper winner TAKT DE TOUQUES possesses a fair amount of ability. The five-year-old was far from disgraced when runner-up on his hurdles bow at Aintree and this looks a suitable opportunity for him to open his account in this discipline. Winning pointer Ridin Solo is a potential improver now racing over 2m4f under Rules and he may give the selection most to think about, ahead of Kalista Love.

Useful bumper winner TAKT DE TOUQUES shaped well when second on his Aintree hurdling debut and is impossible to oppose here. Ridin Solo appeals as the one to chase him home, although newcomer Marquee Lights could also enter calculations, especially if the market speaks in his favour.

Should Takt De Touques fall short in the jumping department again, RIDIN SOLO looks the logical one to capitalise.
Class & Speed Card

MOUNT TEMPEST won last year's renewal and looks to have strong claims of repeating that success. A recent pipe-opener at Bangor will have brought him on and Dan Skelton's inmate can resume winning ways off his current mark. Calgary Tiger made a bold bid from the front when third at Aintree and could be thereabouts at the finish once again. Mint Gold is perfectly at home in this grade and can also get involved if building on his third at Carlisle.

MOUNT TEMPEST shaped well on his comeback run at Bangor which should put him spot on as he bids for a second successive win in this. Intimate showed improved form to get off the mark over hurdles in comprehensive fashion at Hereford in March and looks an interesting recruit to chasing.

Topweight MOUNT TEMPEST won this last year and earns the vote on the back of his respectable reappearance fourth at Bangor.
Class & Speed Card

JURANCON built on his promising second-placed hurdles bow at Worcester when landing the spoils at Chepstow last month. David Pipe's inmate drew well clear with a subsequent winner that day and he looks up to defying a 6lb penalty. The biggest threat is likely to emerge from fellow penalised scorer Mythical Moon, who impressed with his attitude when winning at Stratford. Disco Davis may chase the duo home if cutting out the jumping errors.

JURANCON confirmed the promise of his hurdling debut display when opening his account at Chepstow 30 days ago, pulling a long way clear with the runner-up. He's fancied to make a bold bid to defy a penalty, with Disco Davis, who has been most unfortunate in 2 hurdle outings to date, and fellow last-time-out winner Mythical Moon heading up the dangers. Kap Vert is another capable of better.

Point and two-time bumper winner JURANCON has shown strong form on his two hurdle starts and can defy a 6lb penalty.
Class & Speed Card

Old Page outjumped his rivals when scoring at the 29th time of asking under Rules over C&D last month. David Thompson's charge warrants respect racing off just 2lb higher, but it could be worth taking a punt on the returning EVEQUE. The veteran is only 4lb higher than for his comfortable victory here in January and a break may have freshened him up. Christian Williams' pair Cave Article and Prince Cleni are others to consider and the market should prove informative.

SKYHILL has been given a chance by the handicapper ahead of his return so could be worth chancing at a track where he goes well. The unexposed Cave Article made a decent start in this sphere when third at Wincanton 2 weeks ago and rates the main threat with improvement on the cards.

A hurdles winner off the same mark and after a longer absence, BALLIN BAY may have the beating of Cave Article on this occasion.
Class & Speed Card

A bumper winner at Exeter, KINGSTON PRIDE landed the odds with the minimum of fuss at Uttoxeter on his hurdles bow. He looks another potentially smart prospect for the Nicky Henderson team and can take this step up in class in his stride. Dual bumper winner Bill Joyce shaped well when scoring at Carlisle on his first start over timber and may emerge as the main threat, although Admiral Stewart left a good impression when successful at Ffos Las and should not be underestimated.

As you'd expect for a Grade 2 novice, there's considerable potential on show, with BILL JOYCE just about the pick of the sextet. The fact he was sent off a single-figure price for the Champion Bumper in the spring confirms the regard he's held in and he made a smooth transition to hurdling at Carlisle 3 weeks ago. All 5 rivals are potential threats, headed by Quebecois and Kingston Pride.

Having won very easily on last month's hurdle debut at Carlisle, BILL JOYCE is the selection ahead of Quebecois.
Class & Speed Card

BILLYTHEREALBIGRED was hugely progressive in handicap hurdles, winning three on the bounce, before ending his season with a fall at Ayr. The four-year-old showed no ill effects when making a successful chasing debut at Bangor in October and a 12lb higher rating may not be enough to stop him from improving further. Dartmoor Pirate ran well to finish fourth in the EBF Final at Sandown and is likely to be in the mix on his chasing bow, while Fire Flyer has the ability to get involved in proceedings too.

BILLYTHEREALBIGRED couldn't have been much more impressive on his return/chase debut at Bangor in October and, with further improvement anticipated, he's fancied to defy a 12 lb rise and remain unbeaten in this sphere. Second choice is Royal Jewel, who resumed where he left off last winter when finishing runner-up on chase debut at Newton Abbot recently, with Dartmoor Pirate rounding off the shortlist.

Preference is for DARTMOOR PIRATE who was fourth in last season's always-strong EBF Hurdle Final at Sandown.
Class & Speed Card

CLEAN GETAWAY has been a revelation in recent months, with four consecutive victories over hurdles and fences at this course. Philip Kirby's gelding is reverting to timber off a 2lb lower mark than his chase win here 10 days ago and the five-timer is on. Foster's Fortune was narrowly denied by a subsequent scorer over C&D last month and another good account can be expected, despite a 5lb rise making life more difficult. Lightening Company arrives fit from the Flat and is also worth a second look.

CLEAN GETAWAY's purple patch showed no sign of stopping when bringing up the 4-timer over fences here 10 days ago and, able to operate from his lower mark back in this sphere, he looks sure to make another bold bid. Lightening Company, back over hurdles, and another in-form sor, Foster's Fortune can provide the lead threats.

Preference is for LANGTON WOLD (nap), who was placed behind Clean Getaway and another dual subsequent winner over C&D last month.
Class & Speed Card

In an open event, marginal preference is for RESPLENDENT GREY, who chased home a useful rival when finishing second in a Listed novice chase at Cheltenham last month. Cadell only had to beat two rivals at Wetherby, but he did it in impressive fashion and Lucinda Russell's six-year-old should not be underestimated. Handstands has some questions to answer right now, so Welcom To Cartries is the pick of the remainder.

RESPLENDENT GREY may well have arrived unbeaten over fences had he jumped the last couple of fences better at Cheltenham 3 weeks ago and, with further progress on the cards, Olly Murphy's 6-y-o gets the nod to come out on top at the expense of Handstands, who was sent off a warm order on his chasing debut at Wincanton last month but departed just as the race was heating up. Cadell and chasing-debutant Welcom To Cartries can fight out third.

It will take a very good performance to beat RESPLENDENT GREY, who was a close second in a Listed novice chase at Cheltenham.
Class & Speed Card

Iris Des Issards is likely to appreciate a step up in trip based on his return third here last month. Kayley Woollacott's gelding should have more to offer on just his seventh appearance over hurdles, but a chance is taken on handicap debutant NIGHT DUTY. The eight-year-old has required plenty of patience since winning a point-to-point in May 2021, only running three times since, but this might be the time to catch him. Jaminska and Baby Sage complete the shortlist.

The suggestion is LAND GENIE on his first outing for Dan Skelton, with confidence in his chance increased should the betting vibes be strong. Iris des Issards and Jaminska both arrive on the back of encouraging placed efforts here last month and can give the selection most to think about.

If she stays the trip then JAMINSKA is handicapped to be very competitive with Callum Pritchard taking away a further 7lb.
Class & Speed Card

Imperial Rule has to be of interest following his two wins last month, but a new career-high mark demands more from him. With that in mind, preference is for TREATY BOY, who put in a promising effort when third at Carlisle last time and he arrives here 1lb lower. Pure Surf and The Paddy Pie are others who are capable of going well.

TREATY BOY bounced back to form when third at Carlisle last month and makes most appeal in a tricky-looking contest. Imperial Rule and Hazard Collonges can also make their presence felt.

This can go to IMPERIAL RULE who should have another race in him off this mark. The main danger can come from Pure Surf.
Class & Speed Card

JUPITER DU GITE bounced back to form when a close second over an extended 2m3f at Fontwell on his seasonal return and this step up in trip could help him to go one better. Beachcomber (second) and Tea Clipper (third) are closely matched based on their meeting at Exeter last month and they have to be of interest once again. Jupiter Allen edges out Hoe Joly Smoke to be best of the rest.

Preference is for HOE JOLY SMOKE, who made a good start over the larger obstacles at Uttoxeter in October and should appreciate the step back up in trip here. Jupiter Allen and Beachcomber head the list of dangers.

Preference is for HOE JOLY SMOKE (nap), who showed his best hurdle form at 3m and was a promising second over 2m4f on his chase debut.
Class & Speed Card

MR ALAN was fifth off this mark in a competitive 1m2f event at Doncaster in October and a reproduction of that level of form would have him in the mix here. Dark Moon Rising has to be of interest following his success over 1m4f at Southwell last time, although a 4lb rise demands more from him. Savvy Victory is another with valid form claims, while any market support for Pride Of America on his return would have to be noted.

PENZANCE was far from disgraced on his AW return when third in a listed race at Kempton last month and is potentially well treated on this surface no doubt. King's Code won in comprehensive fashion at Wolverhampton 2 weeks ago and remains on a winning mark, while Dark Moon Rising did well to score at Southwell and remains unexposed on AW.

Easter Classic runner-up PENZANCE (nap) holds particularly solid claims returned to Newcastle. Dark Moon Rising is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

WHYDAH GALLY won over 3m5f on soft going at Lingfield back in February. A recent third off this mark in the Southern National offered plenty of encouragement and Joe Tizzard's resolute stayer is taken to confirm running with Musical Slave, who wasn't far behind the selection in fourth at Fontwell and can have a say in the outcome. Art Decco proved a progressive chaser last season and is preferred to Rouge De L'quest on his reappearance.

ROUGE DE L'QUEST was unlucky to bump into one at Chepstow on return, pulling clear of a subsequent winner, and is fancied to one better with a promising claimer taking off 7 b. Art Decco is an improving stayer who must be respected on his comeback, while the unexposed Well Dick is of interest having joined an in-form yard.

Rouge De L'Quest is solid but WELL DICK gets a speculative nod on the back of wind surgery and on his debut for Emma Lavelle.
Class & Speed Card

LADY KLUCK was well held when filling third place on her Rules debut at Ludlow in October, but that was still a promising effort. Dan Skelton's filly won between the flags in Ireland earlier in the year and it would be no surprise to see her play a leading role here. Gallant Approach merits consideration on his return to action, while any market support for Noble George would have to be noted.

Not a strong bumper, so point-winner LADY KLUCK may well get it right this time having shaped well from an unpromising position at Ludlow in October. Newcomer Belpasso is interesting.

Irish point winner LADY KLUCK made a rather underwhelming rules debut in October but she has plenty of scope to build on that effort.
Class & Speed Card

I WISH YOU put a string of seconds behind him when scoring over 2m1f at Carlisle in October and the second from that event has subsequently won impressively. With that in mind, a mark of 117 may underestimate the four-year-old and he gets the vote ahead of Fasol, who caught the eye when fourth at Cheltenham last month and remains potentially well treated. Others to consider are Cavern Club and Authentic Legacy.

None of these can be ruled out but the vote goes to AUTHENTIC LEGACY who looks to start life in handicaps on a lenient mark and can now end a run of three second placings. James Owen's Cavern Club heads the list of dangers on the back of his excellent Cheltenham second, with Razzle Dazzle Boy, Fasol and I Wish You also in the mix.

Cavern Club was ahead of FASOL at Cheltenham but the latter can improve for that run after a break and has a weights turnaround.
Class & Speed Card

Falaise Blanc was well held when second over C&D last time but he should not be discounted off a 2lb lower mark. That said, preference is for EVA'S EYES, who took a step forwards when fourth on her nursery bow over 7f at Southwell and she may find further improvement now stepped up in trip. Others to note are Manton Road and Andalseeyagraham.

Preference is for ANDALSEEYAGRAHAM, who offered more on nursery debut here last month and will benefit from this greater test of stamina. Falaise Blanc and Eva's Eyes should also go well.

With the visor retained and the longer distance a plus, ANDALSEEYAGRAHAM is preferred. Eva's Eyes is feared most.
Class & Speed Card

A winner between the flags in Ireland, SOBER GLORY made a successful start under Rules when landing a bumper at Chepstow with plenty left in the tank. That is easily the strongest form on offer and the four-year-old could prove difficult to beat, despite carrying a penalty. The newcomer Crackerjacque is from the family of high-class chaser Sam Brown and could get involved, while Paul Nicholls' Master Theobaker is worth noting on his racecourse debut.

SOBER GLORY ran to a high figure when making a winning debut at Chepstow in October, pulling well clear with another useful prospect, so hopes have to be high that he will successfully concede weight all round. Newcomers may offer most resistance, with Master Theobaker and Crackerjacque likely types on paper.

There are interesting newcomers to beat but SOBER GLORY pulled clear with the second at Chepstow and he could be useful.
Class & Speed Card

THUNDER EARTHLIGHT may have been a beaten favourite when filling fourth place on his debut over C&D last month, but that was still a promising performance and he could be hard to beat with the benefit of that experience under his belt. Psychodrama didn't build on her debut effort when last seen at Beverley in September but it is far too soon to be writing her off. Rogue Allegiance appears to be the pick of the newcomers.

THUNDER EARTHLIGHT attracted support and should have learnt plenty from his recent course debut. He gets the nod. Psychodrama looks the likeliest danger on form, whilst David O'Meara's newcomer Rogue Allegiance makes appeal on paper and is worth monitoring in the market.

The vote goes to THUNDER EARTHLIGHT who should build on his C&D effort. Psychodrama and Rogue Allegiance are respected.
Class & Speed Card

Those with experience don't appear to set a lofty standard so it may pay to side with a newcomer, namely SHOWERING. He is a brother to the smart Brewing, who also won on his debut here for this stable, and with the William Haggas yard going great guns, a bold bid first time up is anticipated. Karl Burke is overlooked at your peril in these types of races and his 115,000gns purchase Fastcase looks a big danger, particularly if the market speaks in the colt's favour. Badge Of Honor is surely capable of better than he showed on his debut, and he is respected most of the remainder.

This could go the way of one of the newcomers with William Haggas' well-related Showcasing colt SHOWERING edging the vote from Roger Varian's Bated Breath filly Suzuka. The Childe of Hale appeals as the pick of those with experience and can fight it out for minor honours with another debutant Fastcase.

Preference is for BLUE EMPRESS, ahead of The Childe Of Hale. Showering, Fastcase and Suzuka are noteworthy newcomers.
Class & Speed Card

MAKE CLEAR has shown great pace to win four times over 5f this year including here last month when Sporting Hero was just over a length back in third and cheekpieces are now replaced by blinkers. Sporting Hero scored twice over 6f on either side of that aforementioned third placing including when beating Never Shout Never last Friday. Court Phoenix was prominent throughout when landing a maiden over C&D last month, while others to consider include Dream Today and Hero Of The Hour.

SPORTING HERO won in good style when making it 2 from 3 in the hands of this claimer here last week and remains of interest. Inishmot Prince is potentially on a good mark so is next best ahead of Court Phoenix, who showed good speed to win his maiden.

Course specialist INISHMOT PRINCE won this race last year and will take all the beating again under the talented James Ryan
Class & Speed Card

NIKOVO ran with plenty of credit when staying on strongly from the rear to finish runner-up after conceding first run to the winner over this track and trip last time and, nudged up 3lb on his debut for a new stable, this may be the day to catch him. The largely consistent Apiarist has been mixing it with some smart handicappers in recent times and it would be no surprise if he played a prominent role from what is becoming an attractive mark. Silent Move and Koy Koy are a couple of others who can make their presence felt.

Lots with chances. BILLYB rates just the pick of these weights on the back of his good recent third here so gets the vote from Apiarist who didn't enjoy the rub of the green when fourth at Doncaster last time out. Koy Koy is weighted to have a say, while others to consider are Silent Move and Christian David in this highly competitive event.

Steadily progressive CAVALRY CALL is first choice, ahead of solid Billyb and interesting Christian David.
Class & Speed Card

INNS OF FEAR was putting in his best work at the finish when keeping on into third behind Majestic Wave on debut in a 19-runner 6f Navan maiden. The Mark Fahey-trained colt has scope for improvement as he was a bit tardy from stalls and met some trouble in running, and he should be suited by this step up in distance. Ardagh Red is an obvious threat following a promising debut second to Queen Fury over 7f here last month and is another that should enjoy this longer trip. Mariner Boy wasn't disgraced when staying on into mid-division on debut over C&D last month and may prove the pick of Joseph O'Brien's three runners.

ARDAGH RED gets the nod on the back of his encouraging debut second over 7f here 16 days ago, although strong market support for well-bred Joseph O'Brien newcomer Glinka would put a slightly different slant on things. His stablemate Mariner Boy should have more to offer on the back of his debut over C&D 4 weeks ago and completes the shortlist.

There was plenty to like about ARDAGH RED's debut when runner-up to a rival with plenty more experience and he should come on for that
Class & Speed Card

MONDAMMEJ clearly benefitted from wind surgery when scoring a shade cosily in a similar C&D contest last month and the suspicion is that a 3lb rise may not be enough to prevent him from bringing up a double here. The unexposed Sweet Carolina remains an exciting prospect despite being turned over at short odds over this trip at Wolverhampton when last seen and, having won well there on her racecourse bow, she is of interest on her handicap debut. Parisiac was a comfortable scorer at Nottingham last month and he is also respected.

Plenty in with a shout and it could be worth siding with one of the 3-y-os in the shape of BUZZ BOX. He shaped better than the bare result when a strong finishing third over C&D 25 days ago and he remains with a bigger effort in his locker. Mondammej, following his latest C&D victory, low-mileage filly Sweet Carolina and Water of Leith are just a trio of others to consider.

Neither Mondammej nor WATER OF LEITH make life comfortable for their supporters but they both make some appeal in this field.
Class & Speed Card

HIGHTIMEYOUWON gained a seventh career win over 7f here earlier this year and the consistent gelding has been knocking on the door here again in recent months. The selection had Walhaan, No More Porter and Blues Emperor all behind when second to Blue Soul and again filled the runner-up spot behind Whispersinthewind last time. Blues Emperor didn't get away from stalls as well as usual in that aforementioned C&D race and is a very solid mile handicapper, while Walhaan has won three times here over an extended 1m2f and may find this trip a bit sharp. Exquisite Acclaim won twice over C&D earlier this year and again scored on his penultimate start at Gowran.

HIGHTIMEYOUWON comes here on the back of solid runners-up efforts on each of his last 2 starts around here and looks to hold solid claims back up at 1m. No More Porter and Walhaan may emerge as the chief dangers.

HIGHTIMEYOUWON is preferred after a couple of narrow defeats here and he can gain compensation in this small field
Class & Speed Card

Having hit the frame at this track on his last two appearances, a return to the winner's enclosure could be on the cards for GUNNERSIDE. Grant Tuer's inmate races off an unchanged mark and a 10th career victory may beckon this evening, possibly at the main expense of dual C&D winner Yaahobby. The five-year-old boasts a similar profile to the selection and he isn't taken lightly now back on his last winning mark. Concert Boy and Rebecca's Girl are others to consider.

ANA EMARAATY met trouble here last time and is likely still in good form. Yaahobby has had a good spell here in recent months and heads the dangers along with Concert Boy and Rebecca's Girl.

Back down in trip and below his last winning mark, ANGEL OF ANTRIM can give Jack Morland a first success, ahead of Yaahobby.
Class & Speed Card

MORNING APPROACH has gained two of her three career wins at this venue, including over a mile last year, and has edged back down to a competitive mark. The selection was placed behind Tribal Moon and again finished well over a mile behind Cousin Shay last week. Streetscape made a pleasing return after a lengthy absence here last month, while Adare Beauty is another to consider in first-time blinkers. Pillar Of Hope is bidding to end a losing run stretching back well over a year but has given encouragement on his latest two starts and has dropped down to an attractive rating. Eastern Wind has gained all four wins on turf and has shown little on this surface in the past.

STREETSCAPE has yet to win a race but he shaped nicely on his return from 11 months when fourth from his career-low mark over 10f a month ago and likely to step forward from that, he could be the answer. Morning Approach and Adare Beauty are a couple of potential threats.

MORNING APPROACH has run some eyecatching races over C&D in recent times and a promising claimer taking off 5lb may make the difference
Class & Speed Card

A 4lb rise in the ratings shouldn't prevent another bold bid from last month's C&D winner Beale Street, while a 2lb higher mark looks workable for recent Southwell scorer Showtime Mahomes. However, this represents a drop in grade for PALS BATTALION, who arrives on the back of a close-up second over this track and trip. David O'Meara's three-year-old is slightly more compelling and he's fancied to thwart the aforementioned double-seeking duo.

BEALE STREET could have more to offer as a sprinter and is selected to make light of a 4 lb rise for his C&D success 3 weeks ago. Showtime Mahomes is another last-time-out scorer who should go well again. Pals Battalion and Sacred Falls are next on the list.

Pals Battalion should make another bold bid but ROUGH DIAMOND's best efforts for this yard have come over C&D and he's preferred.
Class & Speed Card

CHOU CHOU showed promise on a number of occasions for Noel Meade earlier this year and last time only gave best in the closing stages on just his second start for current connections at Gowran. The selection tries this surface for the first time and gets the vote over Deed Pole, who won over this trip at Lingfield 12 months ago. He's shaped well on a couple of occasions over C&D since joining Cian Hughes this summer and is now fitted with cheekpieces. Hope And Innocence has been placed twice over a mile here this autumn, while Hieloray and Pink Oxalis are others to consider.

A wide-open contest with a chance taken on PINK OXALIS. She shaped much better than the bare result on her final start for Joseph Murphy in a big field at Galway 39 days ago and, lightly raced from a handicapping perspective, it would come as no surprise to see her go well on polytrack debut. Hope And Innocence, back at 1m, and Deed Pole are others to consider, whilst it's too soon to write off Nedita.

Probably the weaker division and HIELORAY might be the one to take advantage after an eyecatching run over 7f here last month
Class & Speed Card

Despite the 5f distance looking on the sharp side, SIRIUS WHITE did well to force a dead-heat for first at Southwell last month. A return to 6f is likely to benefit the son of Markaz and he's fancied to defy a 2lb higher mark. The unexposed Oriental Prince arrives on the back of a close-up second on his reappearance over C&D in October and the three-year-old is an obvious danger, with Captain Vallo the pick of the remainder.

VOLTAIC bounced back to something like his very best when a dominant winner at Lingfield 3 days ago and, going unpenalized for that success, he could prove tough to contain. Beneficiary, Oriental Prince and Captain Vallo can provide chief resistance to Tony Carroll's 8-y-o.

The most striking one is VOLTAIC, who surged clear at Lingfield on Tuesday and escapes a penalty for that success.
Class & Speed Card

AIRD was placed in a Curragh maiden last year for Kevin Prendergast and switched to Henry de Bromhead this season when going close in a Down Royal handicap over this trip that has worked out very well since. Hopefully she will handle this surface and gets the vote over Bloom Vega and Lilita. Bloom Vega made a promising debut when second to the smart Chemistry at the Curragh this spring and was again placed behind the progressive Not Just Any Eagle over C&D last month. Lilita is probably best at around this trip and beat all bar Sidiza at Navan before again filling the runner-up spot over 1m4f here last time.

AIRD has acquitted herself well in handicap company the last twice and may be able to open her account here. Liltia and Bloom Vega are feared most.

BLOOM VEGA has some very strong maiden form and adapted well to the Polytrack when third over C&D on her latest start
Class & Speed Card

BILLIE FRECHETTE hasn't run at today's course since her second career start last April, but has shown form since then. A half-sister to four winners and out of a half-sister to a Group 1 winner, her handicap form this summer has been reasonably encouraging, she likes this distance and while largely unproven on the all-weather, should handle the surface as she likes good ground. She has run satisfactorily over hurdles recently and should compete from her low enough rating. Scott Lang ran well over C&D last month and is again helped by his rider's 7lb claim, while Obama Army also has recent form but tries this distance for the first time.

This could go the way of SCOTT LANG who signalled he is ready to end a losing sequence when a good runner-up over C&D last time out and can race off just a 1 lb higher mark here. Obama Army is next on the list on the back of his good recent third here with Waystar, Chopsticks and Wishes And Dreams also worthy of consideration.

Pat Flynn's fine year can continue with recent eyecatcher JUST ANOTHER EAGLE, whose winning turn is long overdue
Class & Speed Card

SLIEVE BINNIAN is an experienced five-time winner who put in a career-best effort when scoring on his first attempt at this distance last month, so might progress further. He has been raised 8lb and has plenty of weight, but that recent form was boosted by the fourth-placed horse scoring subsequently. Tribal Star won a maiden over C&D last month and being well-bred, might also progress. By Sea The Stars and out of a Listed winner who has produced two black-type performers, he cost 550,000gns as a yearling and should compete from 1lb out of the handicap, under a 3lb claimer. Ceallach is another to consider.

SLIEVE BINNIAN enhanced his excellent record around here when a comfortable winner over C&D 5 weeks ago and remains of interest. Sole 3-y-o Tribal Star didn't need to improve to win his maiden over C&D recently and may emerge as the main threat on handicap bow.

Preference is for SLIEVE BINNIAN (nap), who won a C&D handicap emphatically when strong in the betting latest and will be hard to beat
