SNAPIUS makes some appeal in here as he'll no doubt take a step forward for his comeback run at the track last month. He goes well on deep ground and is taken to be bang there at the business end, along with Aggagio, who is the sole C&D winner in the field. Thankyouandplease wasn't disgraced at Plumpton recently and is another of interest.

Class-dropper AGGAGIO should be too good for this field if back on song and is taken to record a second C&D success.

SOOMAROY beat the now Dan Skelton-trained Vango Can Go in an Irish point-to-point earlier in the year and Skelton's gelding came out and give that form a nice boost when bolting up in a Southwell bumper. Nicky Henderson wasted no time in going over hurdles with the selection and, although beaten at cramped odds, it was an encouraging Rules debut in an Ascot novice hurdle last month. Expected to have come forward for that effort, he can get the better of Rock Sensation and Pioneer Pete.

Nicky Henderson's SOOMAROY retains plenty of potential and is taken to make amends for Ascot.

RONNIES REFLECTION won over the track and trip a couple of times last season and made a really pleasing return to action last month at Fontwell. Beaten just over a length into second that day, he's expected to have come forward and makes plenty of appeal back at his lucky venue. Kingston Gent is noted for an in-form yard and Everyonesacritic is respected as well.

Unexposed 5yo STEAL THE MOVES has plenty of scope to progress from last month's very encouraging chase/handicap debut.

TRINITY STREET might be able to edge out Azahara Palace in a tight one to call. She won an Irish point-to-point in good style before posting a solid second on her Rules bow in a Carlisle bumper. Now making her hurdling debut, she's expected to have been well schooled at home and makes a bit more appeal than the Wetherby runner-up. Gintime is also noted.

This looks an ideal opportunity for Henry Daly's TRINITY STREET, a £115,000 purchase (point winner), to make a winning hurdles debut.

GNOMON started life in juvenile bumpers for Ralph Beckett before switching to the Flat and proving to be fairly useful in that sphere, winning twice at Haydock. Now in the care of Toby Lawes for his hurdling bow, he gets the vote to make a successful transition. The booking of Harry Cobden looks significant for Vol Royale, who should appreciate dropping in trip after his fifth at Chepstow. Get In Order appeals most of the remainder.

Interesting hurdles debutant GNOMON gets the vote ahead of Get In Order, who may be capable of improvement.

TASHKHAN is a very interesting recruit to the hurdling ranks. Brian Ellison's charge was rated 116 at his best on the Flat and placed in the 2022 Group 1 Prix du Cadran behind a certain Kyprios. If taking to this new discipline, he should take some stopping. Kool Raoul has finished runner-up both here and at Kelso and heads the list of dangers from Whiskey On Ice.

The most talented contenders are the hurdles debutants UNION AVENUE and Tashkhan.

Kim Bailey & Mat Nicholls have enjoyed a good start to the campaign with their novice hurdlers, so Jukebox King is worth keeping in mind on his Rules debut after winning a point-to-point in January. Catchintsavo wears a tongue-tie having weakened on his return at Cheltenham and better is expected. The vote, though, goes to Lingfield runner-up CAN YOU HEAR ME. He caught the eye staying on nicely and wouldn't need to improve much to go one better.

SETTLE DOWN JILL might take some stopping in this if she can build on an improved display at Warwick last time. TZARMIX escapes a penalty for winning a conditional jockeys' event at Ludlow last Wednesday and the seven-year-old makes plenty of appeal in his attempt to back that performance up. Ri Na Cuirte went up 4lb for scoring at Exeter last time but has the advantage of his rider being able to utilise his claim on this occasion, so commands respect. Despereaux completes the shortlist.

The main three to concentrate on are TZARMIX, Ri Na Cuirte (second choice) and Despereaux.

THE GOOD DOCTOR finished last of three at Sandown on his return to action last month, but it wasn't a bad run because he was only beaten a length and a half. If he's improved for it, the six-year-old could be the one sporting a first-time visor. Jet Plane is a big player if recapturing the pick of last season's form, while William Cody also warrants respect.

Well handicapped on some of last season's form, THE GOOD DOCTOR (nap) got his career back on track last month and is the suggestion.

With that in mind, DANNY'S FRIEND may be able to back up his recent victory here over 2m. Danny's Friend and MOVE WITH THE BEAT look the two to concentrate on. The latter gets the nod after an encouraging stable debut.

DIXIE COWBOY won on his first try over the larger obstacles at Sedgefield and is likely to step forward from that performance, despite a 5lb rise from the handicapper. Blended Stealth fell early on in the aforementioned contest but had shown promise when runner-up at the same venue prior to that, and has to be worth another chance. Treaty Boy completes the shortlist.

This could be the day for STICK WITH ME SAM to shine. Tom Gretton's charge is having just his second run since wind surgery.

Despite finishing a beaten favourite on handicap/seasonal debut at Leicester, KUPKA VALLIS wasn't at all disgraced and the addition of a tongue-tie may bring about the progression required to get off the mark. Jamaicaine ran with credit when fifth at Fontwell and is expected to build on that, while Masonbrook Meadow and Imperial Pride can fight it out for the minor honours.

The son of No Nay Never has yet to win beyond 1m2f but has run with credit over this trip and should prove difficult to beat if anywhere near his rating of 86. LIMESTONE RED gained his only previous victory over this C&D just over two years ago and there are strong grounds for believing the Tracey Collins-trained gelding can score again here. The five-year-old has advertised his claims since returning to the Polytrack and beat all bar Brandon Creek last month, with Rising Sky not enjoying the clearest of passages over two lengths back in seventh. The form of that race has been working out well since and Nicola Burns is again aboard. Heart Of Darkness has been staying on over a mile and now steps up in trip, while Slaney Swagger is another to consider.

Despite having won once in a 24-race career, LIMESTONE RED (nap) makes plenty of appeal. Last month's C&D second was a solid display.

SPY has been generally consistent under both codes this year and landed a valuable handicap hurdle at Killarney in August. The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding was placed over 1m4f here last month and may be suited by this slight drop back in distance with Billy Lee also an interesting booking. Mapa rates an obvious threat after making an encouraging start on the Polytrack when runner-up to Nibras Rainbow last month, while Marians Gal has been raised 10lb after a decisive C&D win with Colugo over four lengths back in third and Aingeal Dorcha fourth.

This looks like a good opportunity for MAPA to step up after a C&D second that was preceded by an encouraging display at the Curragh.

It will be interesting to see what the market makes of newcomers Twinkle Belle, Nochebuena, Lotus and Botagoz. All of them are respected, but preference is for ARETI, who was a bit disappointing at Newmarket last time but did make a debut full of promise there in October. Beaten just a length and a half into third that day, she's a big player on that form.

The betting can help sort out the newcomers but ARETI should find this easier than the Newmarket events she has been contesting.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Royal County Glory and KC BEAR were separated by just half a length when filling the places behind Beau Army over C&D recently. Noel Meade's charge was having his first run in a handicap and didn't enjoy a clear passage early in the straight so further progress can be expected, and the booking of Colin Keane is a bonus. The Right One has shown plenty of pace in maidens and it will be interesting to see how she fares on handicap debut, while there should be little to choose between Coincidental Glory and Pivotal Terms after the pair were placed in a 7f claimer here last month. Plushy and Battleforsupremacy are others to consider.

0.5l separated Royal County Glory and KC BEAR here last time and the latter may be able to turn the tables if getting a clearer run

BECCADELLI should appreciate going back up to 7f on his nursery debut and warrants the utmost respect given his connections and very creditable fourth-placed effort in a Newmarket maiden in September. Galileo Island has experience on his side and has won two of his last three starts, so is another must for the shortlist. Keep an eye on Gorey Gold too.

Beccadelli should be involved but STARLIGHT SAMI, who has shaped nicely over 6f, can improve for the longer distance.

WATCH TOWER has progressed with each start and went close when beaten only a neck over C&D last month. The son of Starspangledbanner is taken to show further improvement and confirm running with Thirsty Owl, who made a promising debut two lengths behind the selection in fourth. Golden Trigger is another to consider in a competitive maiden, while any market support for newcomers Chirac, Goldinthesea and Peachy Canyon would be interesting.

Thirsty Owl shaped nicely behind WATCH TOWER in a C&D maiden three weeks ago but the Lyons colt can confirm the placings.

New York Minute is on a four-timer and won't go down without a fight, likewise Macari.

Berkshire Sundance and NEW YORK MINUTE (nap) appeal most. The selection is thriving and can complete his four-timer.

Homme De Fer is on the up but MY BOY HARRY has been in good form since a visor went on and he is marginally preferred.
