There were 37 Races on Friday 5th December 2025 across 5 meetings. There was 7 races at Sedgefield, 7 races at Exeter, 6 races at Sandown, 9 races at Newcastle, 8 races at Dundalk, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

LEAUMEC DE MEE is difficult to oppose. Representing the in-form Dan Skelton yard, the Kempton bumper runner-up made a pleasing hurdling bow at Fontwell on his reappearance when also taking second and can only improve from that effort. He looks to have been found a really winnable opening and gets a confident vote ahead of Eddie My Eagle and Born Like Me.

Dan Skelton's LEAUMEC DE MEE was runner-up on hurdles debut at Fontwell and ought to prove capable of going one better.
Class & Speed Card

In a moderate event it is hard to oppose SPARKLING DUKE, who made a winning Rules return over 2m4f at Ffos Las a couple of weeks ago. A 5lb rise for that success may not be enough to stop the six-year-old from following up in this company. See The Green has made the frame the last twice and is likely to be in the mix once again. The rest all have questions to answer, but I Look How I Look is the pick of them.

There are sizeable question marks over all of these but SPARKLING DUKE seems the most solid option.
Class & Speed Card

MARHABA PRINCE should prove tough to beat in this maiden hurdle. A Wincanton bumper scorer on debut, Anthony Honeyball deemed his gelding good enough to run in Listed company at Cheltenham on his next start and he didn't disgrace himself. He wasn't at his best at Newton Abbot in June, but now goes hurdling and can be forgiven one poor run. Point-to-point winner Buddah Castle heads the list of dangers from Animato.

In a weak race, a slight chance is taken on the British point winner BUDDAH CASTLE on his first start under rules for Patrick Neville.
Class & Speed Card

Zarakerjack was well beaten into second behind a promising type at Kempton and could step forward to have a say, but there are a few interesting French recruits in this and the one who appeals most is THEWOODCORNER. The three-year-old won a bumper at Saumur in March and has since joined the in-form Nicky Henderson yard, so it would be no surprise to see him make an instant impression over timber. Kaldoun Des Rocs and Pourquoi Pas Papa are also of interest.

Some very interesting French recruits and the pick of them could be KALDOUN DES ROCS on his first run for Dan Skelton.
Class & Speed Card

GENTLEMAN TOBOOT accounted for a subsequent Cheltenham handicap winner when scoring on his hurdling bow at Newton Abbot in October. On that evidence, David Pipe's gelding can follow up despite a 6lb penalty. Klub De Reve is likely to pose the biggest threat after his Newbury fourth last month. Tennessee Tango edges out Phineas Bunce to be best of the rest.

Judged on his solid Newbury form, KLUB DE REVE may well take advantage of the 6lb he receives from Gentleman Toboot.
Class & Speed Card

He has to concede weight all round in this handicap chase, but UPFORDEBATE looks up to the task. He has won three of his last four starts and could hardly have been more impressive when bolting up over C&D three weeks ago. Eveque won at Hexham and is the main danger, ahead of the returning Jamesieconn, who has winning form over the distance at Doncaster.

The C&D scorer UPFORDEBATE (nap) is on a positive trajectory - 3-5 over fences - and potentially a bit better than this 0-100 level.
Class & Speed Card

Keep Running showed his well-being when second over the smaller obstacles at Fontwell on his return and has to be respected back over fences. Krak is worth a second look on his chasing bow, along with Mon Champion, but NORTHERN AIR gets the nod. A lot more was expected from Dan Skelton's mare when only fourth at Carlisle last month, but this is just her second start for the yard and she could bounce back.

Having been progressive over fences last term, KEEP RUNNING (nap) returned with a good second over hurdles last month and gets the nod.
Class & Speed Card

All of these have claims, but marginal preference is for BRENTFORD HOPE. Harry Derham's charge was well held when fourth on his chasing debut at Cheltenham last month, but that was still a promising effort given that it was a Grade 2 event. Joyeuse bumped into a useful mare at Bangor and she should not be discounted. Beat The Bat may be a bigger threat than Mirabad, although the latter has the benefit of a recent outing over hurdles.

The percentage call goes to BEAT THE BAT who, judged on hurdles form, brings solid claims to this first attempt over fences.
Class & Speed Card

NO MORE BOLERO and Tanking Along are both seeking doubles, but the former was a most impressive winner at Ludlow last time. Nathan Howie's 3lb claim helps negate some of his penalty for that victory and if in similar form, he could prove hard to beat. Toby Two Scoops is still a maiden after 11 starts across both codes but makes his first outing in a handicap in this sphere and might have a squeak.

8lb ahead of the handicapper after his easy win at Ludlow, NO MORE BOLERO gets the vote in the hope he handles today's slower ground.
Class & Speed Card

After making a winning hurdling debut at Chepstow, The Blue Room looks well worth his place at this level for the Olly Murphy team, but it's hard to oppose NO DRAMA THIS END. An impressive winner in this class at Cheltenham last month, the five-year-old could have lots more to offer on just his second outing over the smaller obstacles, and he looks a novice hurdler to watch this season. Tormund Giantsbane could be anything and is far from out of it either.

Having won a Grade 2 novice in fine style on his hurdle debut at Cheltenham three weeks ago, NO DRAMA THIS END can follow up.
Class & Speed Card

ROYAL JEWEL represents last year's winning yard and arrives on the back of a fine second at Ascot. The consistent six-year-old scored at Newton Abbot prior to that and can make the most of this drop in class. U Cant Be Serious made a winning chase debut over C&D on his return to action and there looks to be more to come from him. He's preferred to Donnacha, who will be sharper for an outing at Ffos Las in October.

With further improvement on the cards, U CANT BE SERIOUS (nap) may well complete a C&D double. Royal Jewel is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

Successful over hurdles at Kelso in September, HUIT REFLETS finished a creditable third back over the larger obstacles here last month. This extra distance holds no fears for Mark Walford's charge and another strong bid looks on the cards. Only 3lb higher than when scoring at Hexham in May, Cave Hill may improve with cheekpieces added to his usual tongue-tie, while Bo Cruz is worthy of a second look on his chasing bow.

Mark Walford's HUIT REFLETS followed his hurdle win in September with a clear third over fences here 11 days ago and gets the nod.
Class & Speed Card

Doyen Quest readily accounted for Quebecois at Exeter a month ago, but he had race fitness on his side that day and the latter may be able to reverse that form here. That said, preference is for LAURENS BAY, who progressed well over hurdles last season and won the EBF Final here in March. Jamie Snowden's six-year-old only had one rival to beat on his chasing bow in October, but did so readily and he looks the type to continue to improve. Salver struggled against Lulamba at Exeter but cannot be written off.

EBF Final winner LAURENS BAY impressed when winning a match on his chase debut at Uttoxeter and is taken to make it 2-2 over fences.
Class & Speed Card

JACK HOOLA is taken to continue his good progress, despite a 6lb higher mark than last time. The winner of two of his last three starts, this faster surface is not an issue and Tom Lacey's charge can go in again. Broomfield Gale returns to action with a shout and could prove a bigger threat than Clear Storm, who landed a messy amateurs' race at Plumpton last month.

Being ahead of the assessor, CHEDINGTON'S GUEST has a good chance of opening his account. Jack Hoola is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

BE THE DIFFERENCE carried top weight to victory in a conditionals' race at Bangor six days ago. He escapes a penalty for that success and the hat-trick looks a distinct possibility with conditions underfoot remaining in his favour. Tread Softly Now won nicely at Ayr last month, but she has a 9lb hike to contend with and Livano Bello may prove a bigger threat off his current mark.

Be The Difference is opposed with thriving mare TREAD SOFTLY NOW, who was eased down when winning at Ayr last month.
Class & Speed Card

HIDDEN HISTORY made a winning chase debut over 3m1f at Aintree last month and Dan Skelton's gelding makes plenty of appeal off just a 2lb higher mark here. Champagne Twist was only two lengths back in third that day and is an obvious threat once again. Kelce struggled on deep ground at Cheltenham last time but is a player based on his previous fourth at the same venue.

Having made a couple of notable blunders, CHAMPAGNE TWIST did well to finish a close third to Hidden History at Aintree last month.
Class & Speed Card

On the assumption that ART DECCO will have come forward for his Fontwell reappearance in October, the nine-year-old could be well placed to strike here as a previous C&D winner. Fuji Flight may have also improved for his latest Huntingdon fourth and could be in the mix, while it wouldn't be a surprise to see The Big Breakaway get involved.

Art Decco and Puddlesinthepark are shortlisted but bottomweight ASTRONOMIC VIEW is an intriguing proposition with today's trip.
Class & Speed Card

Antrim shed his maiden tag at the fourth time of asking over C&D in October and is an interesting contender on his handicap/stable debut. However, SEA LEGEND bounced back to form when second over track and trip on his latest outing and might capitalise on his career-low rating. The in-form Jez Bomb is another to keep a close eye on.

Almekarem could pose a major threat but JEZ BOMB so nearly grabbed a win off today's mark over C&D last Thursday.
Class & Speed Card

Dan Skelton sent out last year's winner and TRIGG can repeat the dose. The son of Getaway made a winning debut when scoring readily at Worcester in September and Heidi Palin's claim negates a 7lb penalty. Grazeon Sunshine finished strongly to grab the runners-up spot at Newcastle in October. He could give the selection the most to think about with Brian Hughes taking over the reins, while Art Dancer is pick of the remainder.

Worcester winner Trigg is not taken on with any confidence but Newcastle second GRAZEON SUNSHINE might be the answer.
Class & Speed Card

It is hard to rule many of these out, but the vote goes to OCEAN CONQUEST. The son of Time Test has won his last two starts and he had plenty in hand on the most recent of those occasions at Ludlow. First-time cheekpieces may spark further progression and a mark of 117 could still underestimate him. The recent Kempton third Across Earth is 1lb well-in and should not be discounted, while Knight Templar and Torrent complete the shortlist.

1m6f Flat winner ACROSS EARTH should be suited by this stiff track and earns the vote ahead of Marche d'Aligre.
Class & Speed Card

Joe Tizzard's horses have been running very well and SAILING BY could be the one in the finale following his encouraging introduction in a Chepstow bumper last month. He's entitled to have improved for the run and makes more appeal than Sirgreg, a debutant representing another in-form stable. Keep an eye on I'm Wide Awake and Jpr Two as well.

Aptly named JPR TWO has strong credentials and is taken to emulate his best sibling JPR One by winning at Exeter on his debut.
Class & Speed Card

LAKE COMO showed a big chunk of improvement to fill the runner-up spot over this trip at Lingfield last month and the son of St Mark's Basilica looks to have been found a good opportunity to get off the mark. Euston Hall was sent off favourite for his debut and could only manage fourth at Kempton, but he might be worth another chance. King's English cost 75,000 euros as a yearling and warrants a market check.

It could pay to side with George Boughey's LAKE COMO who advanced his form when second at Lingfield last time and can go one better now
Class & Speed Card

JACKABI is taken to build on last month's encouraging effort. Despite pulling hard, the son of Hello Youmzain did well to finish second at Wolverhampton and he could take advantage of an unchanged mark. Senor Campanaro also has a solid chance with improvement likely having been gelded since last in action, while Smartanck debuts for his new trainer and could shape well.

The tentative suggestion is the newly tongue-tied SMARTANCK on his first start for Antony Brittain. Jackabi rates next best.
Class & Speed Card

A competitive event and just a tentative vote is for MR MISTOFFELEES, who went in here two starts ago and almost followed up at Southwell last time. Only beaten half a length into second on that occasion, another bold showing looks assured. Chances can be made for several others but C&D winners Midnight Lion and Eldrickjones are the pick of them.

Lots with chances but MR MISTOFFELEES posted a fine second at Southwell last time and this strong traveller edges the vote back at 7f
Class & Speed Card

PRAIRIE GIRL showed improved form to win here in October and can defy the handicapper's 12lb hike. The selection seems ideally suited by this course and distance and while she now faces a stiffer task, she should continue to progress. Buddy Batt defeated Tomarlo (second) to score over C&D last month and has to be noted. Ten-time winner Inishmot Prince finished third in that aforementioned race and is 2lb lower now.

Finishing in front of Prairie Girl latest and behind Buddy Batt on penultimate, TOMARLO is better off at the weights with both
Class & Speed Card

BRAVE TRAVELLER produced his best effort so far when making his nursery debut here 11 days ago and he's well worth another chance with the promise of more to come. King Victorious is the main danger as he boasts a similar profile to the selection and performed well for the silver medal at Wolverhampton a couple of weeks ago. Sunniva is noted too.

George Boughey's KING VICTORIOUS improved for the fitting of a hood when a fast-finishing second at Wolverhampton and can go one better
Class & Speed Card

GOD OF POWER showed ability when a well-backed fourth in a useful course-and-distance maiden last month and can build on that promise. By a leading sire and a half-brother to two black-type winners, the selection wasn't beaten far behind more experienced rivals that day. The Frankel colt Abbotsford has an Irish Derby entry and is from a fine family, so could be smart, while No Temperance is out of a smart mare who has already produced an American Grade 3 winner.

One length behind over C&D last time, GOD OF POWER has the best form and can use his experience against some promising debutants
Class & Speed Card

C&D winner Spun To Gold is highly progressive and is of obvious interest coming in here chasing a four-timer. He only won narrowly last time out, though, and might struggle to successfully concede weight to TEARDROPS, who was mightily impressive when scoring over the track and trip nine days ago. It may also be worth keeping an eye on Superior Council.

If the improving TEARDROPS can perform to a similar level to last week's win, then he can defy his penalty.
Class & Speed Card

INSTANT APPEAL may have benefitted from his debut for this yard when scoring here last month and should be competitive from 8lb higher. Carolina Jetstream has a good course record and ran well in the Cooley Stakes last month. Her rating has risen to 91, but she debuts in handicaps and should get involved. All-weather specialist Final Voyage is another with claims.

Quite competitive, with the improving 3yo DALER taken to continue his progress upped in grade
Class & Speed Card

The runner-up at Southwell on his last couple of starts, True Promise debuts for his new trainer with solid claims. Dandy Dinmont is usually thereabouts at this level and found only one too good here last time, but it could be the turn of BRAZILIAN BELLE once again. Michael Dods' sprinter finished a creditable fourth in a tougher contest over C&D last month and the runner-up has since franked that form by winning.

Marginal preference is for DANDY DINMONT, for whom the fitting of headgear may give him the edge.
Class & Speed Card

BEAT THE DEVIL showed promise in a recent course-and-distance handicap and is open to more progression being a three-year-old. With that in mind, he tops the shortlist. Una Matata was behind the selection in that recent race and while not ahead of the handicapper, can be depended on to again run well. First-time visored Thompson Gunner is a 14-race maiden but has been running well of late.

Following good efforts over further in his last two starts here, THOMPSON GUNNER may make the breakthrough under a claimer
Class & Speed Card

Orbital Chime looks likely to feature once again, having gone close at this track prior to winning over 6f at Southwell. However, DARK KESTREL finished a close fourth over C&D last week, despite a tardy start, and Antony Brittain's charge could make a bold bid only 3lb higher than when successful here in October. Castan makes more appeal than Darlo Pride of the remainder.

Preference is for ORBITAL CHIME (nap), who has shown he acts here and is the one obvious improver in the field.
Class & Speed Card

WELLWHATSHAPPENIN has prospered since returning to the Polytrack this autumn. The son of Smooth Daddy won over 7f and subsequently finished well when beating all bar the highly-progressive Nikki Swango. He remains on a competitive mark and should be suited by this step back up to a mile. Alex Belardo has been placed a number of times this year including when narrowly beaten over C&D on his penultimate start and reportedly clipped heels when a shade disappointing last time. Hell Left Loose returned to form when successful here last time, while Givehertilxmas is another to consider.

A wide draw is a worry for WELLWHATSHAPPENIN, but if he can overcome it, he has strong claims following two good runs here recently
Class & Speed Card

AISLING OSCAR bids for a hat-trick of course victories. Joshua Brown's 5lb allowance negates a penalty, and the progressive four-year-old will likely launch another strong challenge having narrowly beaten Concert Boy over a mile here three days ago. The latter looks sure to be thereabouts once again off an unchanged mark, while Pit Boss has placed at the track on his last three starts and could make his presence felt.

Aisling Oscar and CONCERT BOY had a good battle here on Tuesday but the latter may be able to turn the tables back at this trip.
Class & Speed Card

SOARING SUN seemed to appreciate the switch to this surface when placed behind Eastern Peace last month. The form of that C&D run received a boost when the second, Matrice, went one better the following week and Pat Flynn's charge may now open his account. Seola had both Land Of The Giants and Marambo behind when filling the runner-up spot over a mile here last month and looks a threat if staying this longer trip. Hallelujah Rose showed promise in three outings for Ger Lyons and is another stepping up in distance, while Kings Gesture was far from disgraced behind Cinammon Coco here last week.

A first-time tongue-tie and a longer trip could see SEOLA (nap) get off the mark at the third attempt
Class & Speed Card

SOMEONE'S WISH finished well when beaten about a length in third behind Nibras Rainbow over an extended 1m2f here last month and can reverse placings on these revised terms. The selection may have found 2m just too far when again filling third spot behind Numidia here last week and gets the vote over Nita, who has dropped to a competitive mark and is closely matched with My Vonnie on his third over C&D last time. Power Of Prayer had a number of these rivals behind when successful over 1m4f here a fortnight ago.

Recent C&D winner POWER OF PRAYER could well have more to offer off a 4lb higher mark
Class & Speed Card

GAUCHER has won four times over hurdles, including three times in Grade 3 company, and was having his first Flat start for current connections when fourth behind Bryant over 2m here last week. The selection couldn't find any extra in the closing stages and is taken to reverse places with the runner-up, Gentleman Joe, over this shorter trip. Lady Lunette has won her latest two handicap starts, including when beating Quatre Bras over C&D last time, and that progressive rival has franked the form by scoring again since over the extended 1m2f. Old Peculier completed a hat-trick over a variety of distances here last winter.

An intriguing handicap with LADY LUNETTE taken to confirm C&D form with Quatre Bras, a winner since and now 7lb worse off
