There were 44 Races on Saturday 6th December 2025 across 6 meetings. There was 6 races at Wetherby, 8 races at Navan, 7 races at Aintree, 7 races at Chepstow, 7 races at Sandown, 9 races at Wolverhampton, no doubt Tomform helped you find a winner.
The data in the racecards below is for the past year. View the racecard key.

ADE BOY could hardly have won his bumper any easier at Navan on debut in September and his new connections waste no time in sending him over hurdles. Assuming he takes to his new discipline, Charlie Longsdon's charge is taken to have Caballo De Guerra's measure. The latter drops in class but does have a penalty for winning at Kelso. Liberty Coach completes the shortlist.

This could be a good race. CABALLO DE GUERRA wasn't seen to best effect in a conditions hurdle at Cheltenham last time.
Class & Speed Card

RITZ PLAN was unlucky to come up against a smart sort when runner-up to Highland Crystal in a similar event at Punchestown last month, with Kilbarry Lizzy 13 lengths behind in third and Copper Rocker further adrift. The winner has since taken a Listed race at Newbury in good style. I'm All In was prominent throughout and still in second spot when unseating his rider at the last in another Academy Hurdle at Cork, while Baby Pearl and Coole Cafe both represent powerful yards and should be noted for any market moves.

Although I'M ALL IN was fighting a losing battle when unseating at the last at Cork, time may prove that he was taking on a smart sort
Class & Speed Card

CATCHIM disappointed favourite backers at Southwell last time out but it was another solid effort in defeat and going back up in trip should suit here. Mutual Respect boasts a similar profile to the selection and cannot be overlooked on the back of his latest third at Lingfield, while The Jad Factor won easily on his final start of last season at Kelso.

Chasing debutante IRISANTE could be dangerous as a 4yo filly in receipt of all the allowances. Catchim is second choice.
Class & Speed Card

Captain Hugo beat a subsequent winner to make a successful start over timber at Newbury last month and has plenty of untapped potential, but TAURUS BAY gets the vote. Ben Pauling's point-to-point victor drew readily clear to score by over eight lengths at Stratford in October and is likely to have lots more to offer. Provided the son of Poet's Word takes a step forward, he will prove a tough nut to crack. Race To Base looks booked for third.

Three very likeable prospects. CAPTAIN HUGO won a warm maiden hurdle at Newbury last month and is preferred ahead of Taurus Bay.
Class & Speed Card

THE PRICE OF PEACE won between the flags in Ireland earlier in the year and performed well for second on his Rules debut in a Ffos Las maiden hurdle in October. That form reads well and he should improve for the run, so is expected to prove tough to beat. Of the others, keep an eye on Watchful Protector and Ignore The Door.

This looks a fine opportunity for THE PRICE OF PEACE who saw the race out so well in a strong 2m4f maiden on soft ground at Ffos Las.
Class & Speed Card

SAINT BACO showed promise in France last year and the form of his third in a hurdle at Auteuil has worked out well since. The Cokoriko gelding is a half-brother to Saint Roi, who proved a smart sort both over hurdles and fences for Willie Mullins. Lazare De Star finished well when runner-up on his only point-to-point start and was subsequently purchased for 190,000 euros, while Sense Of Occasion also ran with credit between the flags. Le Moulin Rouge ran quite freely but finished well when third to stablemate Sageborough at Wexford and is now fitted with a hood, while War Rooms held a career high rating of 104 on the Flat and is an interesting recruit to hurdles.

There is every chance that SAINT BACO, not beaten far at Auteuil 15 months ago will be good enough to make a winning Irish debut.
Class & Speed Card

This looks a warm renewal and a case could be made for all five competitors, so only a tentative vote goes to SOBER GLORY. Unbeaten in four starts under Rules, the son of Mount Nelson won with ease on his hurdling debut at Chepstow and continues to go from strength to strength. Shabalko D'herm is yet to taste defeat over timber and carried a penalty to success at Bangor last time, so he has to be respected. Exciting prospect Fresh Perspective is far from out of it either.

All of the runners are open to further progress but it will take a very good performance to lower the colours of SOBER GLORY.
Class & Speed Card

A trappy handicap for punters to solve and just a tentative vote is for KILBARRY HILL. He wasn't at his best on his chase/seasonal bow at Carlisle last month, but represents an in-form yard and is entitled to improve for that first start over fences. If Not For Dylan unseated his rider in the Grand Sefton at Aintree last month and could easily bounce back, while Carrig Kate is noted too.

If SOME SCOPE can return to the form he showed in winning last season's Rowland Meyrick here then he could be troublesome.
Class & Speed Card

Princesse Milania was possibly found out when stepped up to this level as she failed to complete the hat-trick at Catterick last month, but remains in good form and is noted. However, the unexposed GLANCE OF GLORY makes plenty of appeal. Martin Keighley's gelding has progressed with each of his three starts, most recently staying on gamely to win on his handicap bow at Worcester. This step up in trip could unlock further improvement and he looks the one to side with. Sandscape is another to note.

The sharp nature of Catterick did not appear to suit PRINCESSE MILANIA when she was denied a hat-trick a fortnight ago.
Class & Speed Card

BEN SOLO looked to be on really good terms with himself when making all over C&D a couple of weeks ago and, open to stacks more improvement, Rebecca Curtis' charge can record a quick double. Lumi Plugin has every chance if ready to roll following a 236-day absence, while it's also worth keeping a close eye on Just Over Land.

The most obvious answer is BEN SOLO (nap), who made all over C&D a fortnight ago and remains lightly raced over fences.
Class & Speed Card

COLCANNON won two bumpers including a Grade 2 event at Leopardstown and was third behind Bambino Fever in the Grade 1 at the Punchestown Festival, with Copacabana over two lengths behind in fourth. The Noel Meade-trained gelding had a number of these rivals well behind when runner-up to Koktail Brut on hurdle debut at Punchestown last month and that form was well advertised at Fairyhouse last weekend. Riding arrangements suggest Road Exile is preferred of Gordon Elliott's pair, and he was a creditable third behind Blake when switched to hurdles at Down Royal. Burrows Drive was a smart sort in bumpers, while useful Flat handicapper Genuine Article is another interesting recruit to hurdles.

No match for the subsequent Royal Bond winner Koktail Brut at Punchestown COLCANNON (nap) is tipped to go one better now
Class & Speed Card

Crazierthandaisy accounted for Dramatic Encore (third) when victorious by a length on her return to the fray at Warwick last month and could have more to come on just her fourth start in a handicap. However, SUNSET MARQUESA shaped with promise when third over an extended 2m2f at Exeter and will appreciate this step back up in trip. Off just a 2lb higher rating, she looks the way to go.

The best option in this depleted field may be SUNSET MARQUESA who won on heavy ground last season and made an encouraging reappearance.
Class & Speed Card

Having fallen over fences at Kelso on his penultimate start, CHASE A FORTUNE appreciated the switch to hurdles when beaten a head at Carlisle. Chris Grant's gelding went up 3lb for that effort and may find further improvement for the application of cheekpieces. Similar comments apply to Double Oban, who is taken to leave his Newbury return behind him, and Kingston Narcissus is another capable of being in the mix.

Double Oban could prove a different proposition with a run behind him but the most solid option is CHASE A FORTUNE (nap).
Class & Speed Card

This represents a drop in grade for Inedit Star after his second at Wetherby in October, and he holds an obvious chance. However, he is yet to get his head in front in the UK and, with that in mind, KDEUX SAINT FRAY gets the nod. Despite Anthony Honeyball's five-year-old jumping left throughout, he still ran out a three-length victor at Cheltenham last month. A 3lb rise looks on the lenient side and he could take full advantage. Captain Butler isn't out of it either.

This may well go to CAPTAIN BUTLER, a lightly raced point winner who could improve for the switch to fences.
Class & Speed Card

Pyleigh Master ended his last campaign on a positive note winning a Ffos Las maiden and could go well here if ready to roll on his return. However, it could pay to side with the race-fit GETALEAD, who certainly wasn't disgraced when fourth at Kempton 12 days ago. Queens Venture and C&D winner Idefix De Ciergues are others to take seriously.

After travelling well to a point on his seasonal debut, CHAMPAGNE CHIC and can pose a more potent threat here if that run did him good.
Class & Speed Card

KOVANIS is one of three runners from the Gordon Elliott yard to record an impressive maiden hurdle win last time and it looks significant that Jack Kennedy sides with the son of Tunis. The point-to-point winner landed a bumper at Leopardstown last Christmas and made all for a cosy win over an extended 2m3f at Clonmel last month. C&D winner Classical Creek and Port Authority, who scored by a wide margin at Naas, complete a powerful challenge by the Cullentra team. Thedeviluno beat Elliott's Starlight Hustle (won since) at Gowran, while Galway victor Doctor Steinberg and easy Gowran winner Daydream Nation add further spice to a fascinating Grade 2.

Gordon Elliott, who dominated last Sunday's Fairyhouse fixture, has a strong hand. Jack Kennedy's presence on KOVANIS looks significant
Class & Speed Card

ABSOLUTELY DOYEN hasn't looked back since joining the Paul Nicholls yard, winning three on the bounce, and is now 8lb higher than his two-and-a-half length success at Ascot last month. The son of Doyen might have been worth more than the winning margin suggests on that occasion and is taken to strike once again. Kikijo won well in this grade at Cheltenham and is likely to be thereabouts, while Lavender Hill Mob looked a different proposition when upped in trip at Cheltenham and may have more to offer.

Plenty have possibilities in an open contest. KIKIJO is narrowly preferred, ahead of Lavender Hill Mob.
Class & Speed Card

Fern Hill has turned a corner recently with the 10-year-old recording back-to-back victories at Uttoxeter and Huntingdon, having previously not won since November 2022. He is respected off a 3lb higher mark, but the less-exposed EXPRESS SURPRISE gets the vote after a solid return effort at Lingfield. The six-year-old should have more to offer on just his fifth start over fences. Gold Emery and Visual Impact head the remainder.

The 6yo EXPRESS SURPRISE looked good on the last day he encountered soft ground and his reappearance effort was promising.
Class & Speed Card

C&D winner Richmond Lake finished third over 3m on his return to action at Bangor last month. That might have put him spot on for this, so he is noted along with Margaret's Legacy. However, THE KALOOKI KID ran with plenty of credit in the Colin Parker at Carlisle last month and now returns to handicap company. The seven-year-old is likely to progress from that effort and could find the improvement required to strike.

A chance is taken on BLEU D'ENFER on his second run for Donald McCain. His breakthrough chase win at Carlisle in April reads well.
Class & Speed Card

The aptly-named AWORKINPROGRESS clearly benefited from a patient approach over hurdles with Nick Gifford's charge unbeaten in five starts over fences. The six-year-old made a winning return at Lingfield last month and victory here would seal his position near the head of the market for the Welsh National at the end of the month. Makin'yourmindup was last seen in March 2024 and is respected following a wind operation, while Minella Blueway is capable of leaving behind his Cheltenham effort in October.

Aworkinprogress is opposed with MAKIN'YOURMINDUP, who was in good form in early 2024 and who resumes on a tempting mark.
Class & Speed Card

BUACHAILLBOCHT was progressive over hurdles winning three times including twice over an extended 2m6f at Punchestown before switching to fences last season and justifying heavy support on his final start at the Fairyhouse Easter meeting. The selection handles soft ground well and will relish this stamina test. Paddy's Milestone won over 3m at Down Royal last year and was absent until beating Grimaud by two lengths over 2m5f here last month with Gringo D'aubrelle back in fifth. However, he's now 10lb out of the handicap proper and stablemate Ayiko may prove more of a threat on his third to Custom Taylor in a valuable 2m7f Fairyhouse handicap last spring. Yeats Star is another to consider.

On the back of a good chase run at Cheltenham FASCILE MODE gets the vote, ahead of Ayiko and Grimaud
Class & Speed Card

Grade 1 winner Lulamba is sure to be all the rage as he sets the standard with an official rating of 153 and was the best of these over the smaller obstacles. Unsurprisingly, he justified cramped odds on his chasing bow at Exeter, but if there are any chinks in his armour, LUMP SUM can be the one to benefit. Sam Thomas' seven-year-old beat a subsequent winner by 16 lengths on his first start over fences at Uttoxeter in October and his brilliant jumping could stand him in good stead. Be Aware can beat Alnilam home for third.

The sky's the limit for 4yo LULAMBA who is taken to cement his Arkle claims. Lump Sum is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

Mac's Max filled the runner-up spot on his racecourse bow at Newcastle where Striking Midnight finished one place behind and the pair are expected to be in the mix once again. It wouldn't be a surprise if softer conditions saw the latter reverse the form, but COTTON SOCKS is preferred. He raced keenly on debut when second at Huntingdon and the application of a hood might help to make the difference.

The newcomers need checking in the betting but COTTON SOCKS ran perfectly well at Huntingdon when strong in the market.
Class & Speed Card

Paul Nicholls has trained four of the last seven winners, the majority of those when the race was formerly run as the Summit at Doncaster, and TREASURE PLANET has strong claims of adding to that tally. The latter took a big step forward when landing the odds with a commanding display at Ludlow on only his second start over hurdles and there looks plenty more to come. A maiden winner on the Flat in ireland, Edelak has joined Dan Skelton's yard and could prove competitive on his hurdling debut, while Bibe Mus and Scarlet Moon are others worthy of consideration.

Heavy ground may have been against LORD at Cheltenham and he is taken to bounce back and post his fourth juvenile hurdle win.
Class & Speed Card

ALAN DE BANKS shaped with promise on all three starts last season and is expected to benefit from the switch to fences coming from the family of Grade 1-winning chaser Joncol. Elysian Knight is another chasing debutant expected to be in the mix after winning twice over hurdles, while Willmount was right in contention when falling on his first attempt over the larger obstacles at Ffos Las. If showing no ill-effects, the seven-year-old is more than capable of a decent showing.

Lightly raced 6yo ALAN DE BANKS ran well in defeat on his handicap hurdle debut in January and switches to fences with huge potential.
Class & Speed Card

INTHEPOCKET was a Grade 1 winner over hurdles but has suffered an interrupted campaign since sent chasing. He reappeared after a lengthy break to easily win at Wexford last autumn but needs to bounce back after a fall on his reappearance at Naas last month. Tullyhill was held in high regard as a novice over hurdles and had Harry Des Ongrais behind when runner-up to Mistergif over fences at Fairyhouse earlier this year. The Willie Mullins-trained grey tends to jump left and should benefit from his reappearance at Wexford. Backtonormal took the valuable Leopardstown Handicap Chase in fine style last season but disappointed over hurdles at Naas last month.

It may pay to take a chance on SEARCH FOR GLORY, who ran better than the result suggests in the Troytown and drops in trip here
Class & Speed Card

It was heavy going when Knickerbockerglory won this last year, but he could only manage fifth behind GO DANTE when the latter landed the Imperial Cup for the second time back in March. Olly Murphy's charge is only 3lb higher and another bold bid looks on the cards. Afadil finished a close third behind the selection in March and could feature if back to his best, while the progressive Glynn Brae remains of interest having scored over 2m4f here on his reappearance.

Being a last-time course winner who may well improve further, GLYNN BRAE (nap) is preferred. Knickerbockerglory is second pick.
Class & Speed Card

The progressive staying chaser Mr Vango made a winning reappearance last term. He's 9lb higher than when landing the Midlands Grand National in March, while the Welsh National winner Val Dancer will be sharper for his recent return at Carlisle and could also shape well. However, GABORIOT finished an encouraging second in the Grand Sefton here last month and he gets the vote with this extra test of stamina playing to his strengths. The Irish raider Bioluminescence and Excello are not out of this either.

3m2f is probably shorter than ideal for MR VANGO (nap) but there is plenty of rain about and strength in stamina can see him win again.
Class & Speed Card

MODERN MAN won an Irish point-to-point last December and is entitled to have come forward for his Rules debut here in a maiden hurdle last month. A decent third on that occasion, he can only improve and is in the right hands to progress. There are a couple of interesting debutants going to post, though, and it will be worth keeping an eye on the market when it comes to Grand Vendetta and Brisky Dancer.

It's hard to get away from MODERN MAN, who made a good start to his rules career when third over C&D last month.
Class & Speed Card

WINGMEN was highly tried over hurdles last season including when second to Final Demand in a 2m6f Leopardstown Grade 1 and put in a generally sound round of jumping when switched to fences on his reappearance here last month. The selection was again no match for Final Demand but had a number of these rivals behind and may go on better. The 2024 Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner Slade Steel filled the runner-up spot on both chase starts last season including behind Lecky Watson at Naas, while another smart novice hurdler, Predators Gold, bids to overcome a lengthy absence on his chase debut. Kopeck De Mee won three times over hurdles in France and was just denied in an Aintree handicap this spring.

Beaten odds-on favourite in both beginners chases this time last season, the form reads really well and SLADE STEEL can go one better
Class & Speed Card

A terrific renewal can go the way of IL ETAIT TEMPS. Willie Mullins' outstanding chaser warmed up nicely for this with a facile victory at Clonmel last month, having beaten Jonbon (second) in great style when landing the Celebration Chase here in April. The latter bids to land this for the third time, but he also found L'eau Du Sud too good in the Shloer at Cheltenham on his reappearance, and Dan Skelton's charge appears to be the bigger threat to the selection on that evidence.

With further improvement highly plausible, L'EAU DU SUD could well reach or surpass the standard set by Il Etait Temps.
Class & Speed Card

BEAR MARKET has won twice over 2m1f here and made a winning start for his new yard over today's trip at Southwell last month. That was also his first outing after a wind operation, so Mel Rowley's new charge could have more to offer as he steps up in class. Wellington Arch is 10lb higher than when landing a competitive handicap over C&D in April, but Act Of Authority has a shout off his current mark if reproducing his second in the Martin Pipe at Cheltenham in March.

The thriving RAMBO T has never been better and is taken to add to October's Silver Trophy win at Chepstow. Sunray Shadow is feared.
Class & Speed Card

Dan Skelton has introduced a few smart types already this season and Presley must be taken seriously given the yard is in such good form. However, at the likely prices, PRINCESS DAY could be the one getting weight as she readily won a point in Ireland earlier in the year. Keltype is another debutant to consider closely in the finale.

The vote goes to Dan Skelton's striking newcomer PRESLEY, whose sales price increased to 185,000euros last summer.
Class & Speed Card

FIXIOS shaped well on debut when staying on into third behind the odds-on Classical Creek in a 22-runner 2m4f maiden hurdle here last month. The Noel Meade-trained gelding should benefit from that experience and gets the vote over impressive point-to-point winner With Nolimit, who was bought for 250,000 pounds after scoring for Jonathan Fogarty at Liscarroll in March. Riding arrangements suggest he's preferred to another point winner Detroit Maverick, while Treasure Memory has been placed both in a bumper and over hurdles.

Given a favourable mention by Gordon Elliott in a recent Racing Post stable tour, WITH NOLIMIT may well be ready to strike on debut
Class & Speed Card

It could pay to stick with the progressive staying chaser ASK BREWSTER. The impressive winner over 3m4f at Cheltenham in April, Evan Williams' charge returned to action with a victory at Chepstow in October and another good effort looks assured. This longer trip holds no fears for Invincible Nao, who scored over 2m4f here last month, while Midlands National runner-up Tanganyika makes more appeal than O'Connell and Hung Jury, despite carrying top weight.

Competitive. TANGANYIKA should have blown away the cobwebs with his Cheltenham run and O'Connell shaped well on his return.
Class & Speed Card

THE CARIBBEAN bounced back to form when filling the runner-up spot over track and trip in October and, despite having a 3lb higher mark to contend with, he could be the one to beat. Straight A occupied the runner-up berth here last month and his chance is there for all to see. Of the remainder, Dapper Gee Gee makes the most appeal.

A good Wolverhampton record earns HAVANA SKY a narrow vote over last weekend's C&D runner-up Straight A.
Class & Speed Card

Beckon showed ability when fourth over a mile on her introduction at Kempton and shouldn't have any problems dropping a furlong in trip. Hamdania has Rossa Ryan booked on debut and warrants a market check, but it may pay to side with GALILEO CHARM. Runner-up on two of her three starts, Marco Botti's filly now sports first-time blinkers which could eke out the improvement required to shed her maiden tag.

Galileo Charm looks booked for another prominent showing but the once-raced BECKON may progress past her.
Class & Speed Card

Winless in three appearances, Archers Bay might be flattered by an official rating of 88 and, for that reason, AFFETTUOSO gets the vote. Roger Varian's colt finished last of five on debut at Doncaster but could prove a different proposition up in trip because he possesses plenty of stamina in his pedigree. With that experience under his belt, it would be no surprise to see him take a big step forward. Koala Rose cost 110,000 euros as a yearling and is one to watch in the betting market.

Preference is for the ex-Irish ARCHERS BAY, who sets a good standard and is open to more progress for his new yard.
Class & Speed Card

R P Mcmurphy will be winning soon off his current mark on the evidence of his recent placed efforts at Southwell, but a chance is taken on QUICK AWAY. The latter won a couple of classified races over C&D at the start of the year and winning partner Rossa Ryan is back on board for her reappearance. Penny Ghent and Saved Lizzie also warrant respect.

Bona Verba could be invigorated by a visor but R P MCMURPHY has run well in both his handicaps and remains capable of better.
Class & Speed Card

Tribal Wisdom arrives in fine fettle having scored at Southwell three starts ago and then again over C&D last time. Borgi is usually in the mix at this level and could have a say in proceedings, but preference is for ZRYAN. David O'Meara's charge went agonisingly close when runner-up in a more competitive contest here last month and the son of Night Of Thunder could prove the one to beat with a similar effort.

Last Tuesday's C&D handicap won by TRIBAL WISDOM from Hitched may hold the key. Zryan and Giant are next on the list.
Class & Speed Card

BILLY BATHGATE will likely prove competitive having won over a similar distance at Newcastle in September and he finished runner-up in an amateur riders' race at Southwell 10 days ago. He had Zooks back in third on that occasion, though the latter may finish closer this time with Billy Loughnane taking over the reins, while Doddington Guy has more scope than most and this longer trip could suit.

In a race for which few arrive with compelling claims last week's Southwell runner-up BILLY BATHGATE is taken to resume winning ways.
Class & Speed Card

THREE YORKSHIREMEN was eased down to win over C&D last month and should have too much for these rivals if he arrives in the same form. So Alex also won over track and trip latest and is interesting given his unexposed profile, so is put forward as the main danger. Of the others, keep a close eye on Hackney Diamonds.

It's a warm race but SO ALEX (nap) looks an upwardly mobile 3yo and he can follow up last week's C&D success. Oman is next best.
Class & Speed Card

Gilt Edge was back to form last time out when scoring over C&D and she should be in the mix again. However, WOODHAY WHISPER has the bit between her teeth at the moment and can continue her good run following a neck defeat here last week. Those looking for a bit of each-way value should consider Profit Street and Under Curfew.

Woodhay Whisper looks solid to go well but TRIPLE CHARGED starts out for the impressive Faye Bramley off a good mark.
Class & Speed Card

Havana Club won well here over 7f on Monday but isn't certain to back that performance up over a furlong shorter and with a 6lb penalty. With that in mind, I CAN IMAGINE could be the one as she shaped as though the extra furlong would really suit when finishing a never-nearer third over the minimum trip here on the same card earlier this week. Call Glory completes the shortlist.

I Can Imagine and Call Glory (second choice) can feature but HAVANA CLUB can defy a penalty and follow up Monday's 7f win here.
Ths is the racecard key.
