Having made a winning hurdling bow at Bangor, Orderoftheday is likely to be in the thick of the action once more. Olly Murphy's charge isn't taken lightly, but ROI DU RISK could prove a tough nut to crack in receipt of 6lb. The four-year-old posted a good second on his first attempt over timber at Fontwell and a repeat may prove sufficient. Bardenas may fare best of the remainder.

This may concern two and ROI DU RISK perhaps achieved more in defeat at Fontwell than what Orderoftheday did in winning at Bangor.

LAZARE DE STAR was bought for 190,000 euros after finishing second in a point-to-point in the spring and made a fine start under Rules in a big-field maiden hurdle at Navan. The Masked Marvel gelding chased home French import Saint Baco, who looks an exciting prospect for Willie Mullins, and was well clear of the remainder. Jack Kennedy's mount can go one better over this longer trip. Mullins relies on point-to-point runner-up Mighty Park, who is a close relation of the talented but quirky Might Bite. Bumper winner Midnight Jet and Therhythmofthenite both showed promise on their hurdling debuts and are in the mix as well.

In-form Gordon Elliott runs four here and Jack Kennedy prefers LAZARE DE STAR (nap) who shaped with real promise at Navan 22 days ago

Uncle Al and Bravethewaves arrive on the back of victories at Sedgefield and Southwell respectively. The latter makes most appeal of that pair with Ben Smith taking 6lb off his back, but it could be the turn of BRIDGE COURT. The addition of cheekpieces appeared to spark improvement in the six-year-old when runner-up over C&D and Sandy Thomson's charge is taken to build on that good effort by going one better.

Following an admirable display over C&D on his recent chase debut, BRIDGE COURT may go one better this time.

KAISER BALL can make a winning debut over hurdles for his new trainer. Formerly in the care of Willie Mullins, the five-year-old made an impressive start to his career when easily landing a Fairyhouse bumper under this jockey back in February. With that race having been well boosted by the runner-up subsequently, it would be disappointing if the son of Nom De D'La didn't maintain his unbeaten record. A bumper winner at this venue, the Tom Cooper-trained Shuttle Diplomacy went on to finish third in the Champion Bumper last March. However, having failed to get competitive over hurdles to date, he will need to show improvement. Unflinching has to be of definite interest having won a point-to-point and a NH Flat race at Fairyhouse.

Impressive bumper winner KAISER BALL is related to some capable jumpers and is chosen to score on hurdling debut

MOOR END got off to a flying start over fences when winning at Uttoxeter in October and the Kingston Hill gelding ran well off his current mark last time out with a three-length third at Lingfield. Track, trip and going look ideal, though he won't have things all his own way. Dj Pete has placed twice this season, sandwiching an early fall at Bangor, and he clearly has the ability, while Kapamazov is noted too.

A chance is taken on BALLYMACKIE who ran in some good races over fences last season and retains potential for his new yard.

Michael Kenneally got a good tune out of THE NAGGER REIDY when the Kayf Tara gelding was second in a Listed handicap at Naas last time and the talented conditional is in the plate again. Sonny Carey's runner is up another 4lb for that good run, but may be progressive enough to land this big-field contest. Coyote Spirit has shown promise in maidens and looks interesting on his handicap debut, with headgear applied for the first time. Last year's winner Giant Haystacks comes here in reasonable form and is fitted with first-time cheekpieces. The frustrating Centurion's Sister placed yet again when second at Musselburgh last month. She can have a say in proceedings as usual, but the less-exposed BALLYEASTON makes most appeal. Fergal O'Brien's charge faced tougher opposition when finishing third at Aintree and Newcastle last month and looks to have a leading chance in this company. Third in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham last time, KING'S BUCKS should open his account here. A lightly-raced five-year-old, the Henry de Bromhead-trained gelding won his only point-to-point start before joining current connections. Runner-up on his bumper debut at Gowran Park in March, he possibly needed the outing when a fair fourth on his hurdling debut at Galway in October. Second in a Listed bumper at Navan recently, Panjandrum had earlier won at Clonmel on his stable debut. A point-to-point winner, he has the potential to make up into a decent hurdler. Dual bumper winner Minella Emperor improved on his hurdling debut when a promising fourth at Clonmel earlier this month.

It's difficult to get away from KING'S BUCKS who ran so well in a Grade 2 at Cheltenham last month.

Point-to-point winner BORNA GEM is an unknown quantity over hurdles but she won't need to be anything special to take this against largely out of form opponents. Casa Loupi is officially rated the best horse in the field by some margin but he was last of nine at Windsor last month and needs to get back to form, while Carpe Diem runs over hurdles for the first time since December last year and is interesting.

All of these are risky. CASA LOUPI is the most talented so he gets the nod despite a forgettable reappearance.

He travelled best over 3m last time and may be suited by this shorter trip. Patter Merchant was narrowly beaten at Fairyhouse, with Kiss Will back in third on his chasing debut, and the latter may be able to reverse that form with the benefit of a run under his belt.

Wind surgery seems to have worked the oracle for SUPREME GEORGE. A winner at Kelso on his return to the fray, Classical Sting also proved himself well suited to the larger obstacles. He rates the main danger, ahead of Powerofjet and Galidam.

The choice is CLASSICAL STING (nap), who improved on his hurdling form to get off the mark on his chase debut at Kelso last time.

Following a hugely impressive win at Navan on his debut over fences, FINAL DEMAND can make it two from two. A dual Grade 1 winner over hurdles last season, the Willie Mullins-trained six-year-old is already viewed by many as one of the Irish bankers for the Cheltenham Festival and it will be disappointing if he can't provide the champion trainer with a third straight win in this race. Stablemate Jimmy Du Seuil rates the biggest danger. Having lifted the Coral Cup at Cheltenham last season, the son of Galiway made the perfect start to life over fences at Fairyhouse last month. Gold Dancer can make it a clean sweep for Mullins.

It's obviously hard to oppose FINAL DEMAND after his impressive start over fences at Navan but Jimmy Du Seuil can put it up to him

BALLYBURN made a fine return to hurdling when just failing to reel in Teahupoo in the Hatton's Grace Hurdle at Fairyhouse, which the latter was winning for the third time. Willie Mullins' seven-year-old has a slight question mark against him regarding his stamina for 2m7f but if settling better for Paul Townend, he can gain his revenge on this occasion. Teahupoo will enjoy stepping back up in distance, but wants even softer ground to be seen at his best. Bob Olinger got the better of Teahupoo in the Stayers' Hurdle in March and the 10-year-old goes well fresh, so he has to enter calculations. A dual winner of this, Home By The Lee may find a few too strong this time.

Sharpened by his return to hurdling, BALLYBURN gets the vote to turn the tables on Teahupoo who beat him narrowly at Fairyhouse

Roarin' Success was useful on the Flat and if she takes to hurdling on her first start for Donald McCain, she could be the surprise package. However, NINNA COLLINA has won both starts this season when produced late on and although she has to give weight away, there is a chance she is better than this and will be seen in stronger events soon enough. No Tricks At All and Azahara Palace both look as if they will be better over further in time.

The pick is CRYSTAL DAYS, who may not have handled soft ground last time and has good claims if judged on her previous Uttoxeter third.

CONYERS HILL has run well in defeat in some smart contests and is suited by soft ground and this distance. Placed four times in similar Listed races, he finished sixth at the Cheltenham Festival last term and, last month, finished a useful fourth in that course's prestigious Paddy Power Gold Cup. Dee Capo has top weight and is 8lb higher than when scoring at Punchestown last month, although his rider claims 5lb and he, too, is suited by conditions. The five-year-old Karia Des Blaises is rated just 121 over hurdles, but has been running to a higher level recently over fences and is interesting on her handicap debut.

Having shaped several times like he has a nice prize over fences in him, CONYERS HILL is taken to score after a good run at Cheltenham

GALOPIN DES CHAMPS bids for his hat-trick in this race. The dual Cheltenham Gold Cup winner is unbeaten over fences at Leopardstown and was very impressive here 12 months ago. He didn't show his best in the Gold Cup last season, but bounced back with an authoritative display in Punchestown. He's still only nine and certainly seemed to retain all his ability last season. Inothewayurthinkin obviously beat the selection at Cheltenham and has to be respected. He needs to improve from his comeback run at Punchestown, but is likely to do so. Old rival Fastorslow also has the benefit of a run, finishing a moderate third in the John Durkan. He's another likely big player.

Gold Cup winner Inothewayurthinkin is a major threat to GALOPIN DES CHAMPS, whose record at this venue earns him the vote

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

The last four winners have all carried 11st 2lb or more, pointing to the top half of the handicap, and I SEE THE SEA ticks plenty of boxes. A C&D winner by two lengths last time out when keeping on well on similar ground, he has only been put up 2lb, which seems unlikely to scupper his chances. Slaney Opera finished third in a decent hunter chase at Stratford when last seen and is hard to overlook in this grade. Redbridge Rambler is also considered.

In a low-grade event, the well-handicapped MERSEY STREET is taken to get off the mark over fences. Slaney Opera is next best.

YEAH MAN competes off a mark 25lb lower than his chase rating and he finished an admirable second in last month's Troytown. Although he may appreciate some more rain, Eoin Staples' valuable 7lb claim should leave this seasoned campaigner with a great chance. Jordans exceeded expectations last season, winning a Grade 3 and finishing runner-up twice in Grade 1 company. He is 18lb lower over timber and is given every chance. Son Of Anarchy and Eclipse Chaser should be vying to make the frame.

Something of a minefield but YEAH MAN looks potentially thrown into this on his chase form, and has a talented 7lb claimer up

Hajey won this in 2023 off a mark of 113 and as he races off 3lb lower after a Sedgefield fourth, he has to enter calculations. Gardener returns to hurdles after unseating over fences at Bangor and is more than capable off his current rating, but CAMARRATE might have the edge. A promising two-length second at Wetherby in October, he races off the same figure in this weaker contest.

The answer might be CARAMELO RAPIDO, who shaped quite well on his recent seasonal debut and will hopefully have come on for the run.

Great Island has recorded both career wins on heavy ground and had a couple of these rivals behind when successful at Clonmel last time, while Warmer Days Ahead won over a similar trip at Roscommon last year and made a pleasing return after a lengthy absence when third at Punchestown earlier this month. Wakey Wakey Man and Opposite Ends are others to note.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content,

With Gordon Elliott winning the last two runnings of this contest, preference is for LEMMY CAUTION. The son of Tunis made an impressive debut between the flags before being sold for 250,000 pounds. The grey had a big reputation coming to the track and seemingly lacked gears on his first start under Rules at Navan, but he is taken to have improved from that, with tactics hopefully being adapted here to suit his strengths. City Of Cork offered some encouragement on his debut over hurdles and now tries a bumper. He made plenty of ground on the outside of the field around Navan and should be feared. Bentraghhill made 150,000 euros after finishing third in a point-to-point and must be considered.

Judged on point-to-point form LEMMY CAUTION, who needs to step up from a Navan run, has stronger credentials than Bentraghhill

Sax Appeal remains 5lb higher than when successful at Kempton in September. He placed in a tougher contest here last time and is not out of this, but last year's winner DANCE TIME may edge it. She has won three times since that success and, having scored by five lengths at Wolverhampton as recently as last month, David Loughnane's mare gets the vote. Bashful Boy and Trojan Sun are others with a shout.

The lightly raced AAJEJ is given another chance in first-time headgear. Bashful Boy is fairly treated and second choice.

ROJUCO MAC has shown plenty of promise on both starts and gets the vote. The Charles Byrnes-trained gelding filled third spot behind the odds-on Gameofinches on debut at Punchestown back in February and only went down by half a length to Ballyfad when returning to that venue last month. Burning Ability has also been placed on his latest two bumper outings, including when staying on into third behind Tiktok Casey at Naas, while point-to-point winner Detroit Maverick may prove the pick of Gordon Elliott's two runners. Willie and Patrick Mullins team up with Looking For Eight, who is a Muhtathir half-brother to promising stablemate Sortudo.

Having gone close against this week's Leopardstown winner Ballyfad, ROJUCO MAC can put his experience to good use and go one better

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
