Form figures of 1112 in AW handicaps since joining Ed Dunlop and hard to knock.
LTO Selection:

12:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Successful over C&D in August, MUSICAL MYSTERY has been a revelation since joining the Ed Dunlop stable, going in twice more, and he can make it four wins in his last six starts as he goes back up to a distance he is unbeaten over. Touched off over track and trip last week, Grenham Bay is a leading contender, as is Band Of Steel, who is also turned out again quickly after a close-up third at Chelmsford.

MUSICAL MYSTERY is on the up and shaped well after a slow start at Wolverhampton last time, so he's capable of getting his head back in front with another improved showing. The well-treated Grenham Bay is an obvious danger and Capuchinero should give her running again.

Andrew Balding's GRENHAM BAY (nap) shouldn't be so free as he was last time with a solid pace on the cards and he's handicapped to win.

(1) Lunar Discovery 4/7, Above-average dual winner in bumpers and opened her account at the first time of asking in this sphere over C&D 33 days ago. More to come and makes plenty of appeal.
Two-time bumper winner who scored over C&D on hurdle debut; leading claims under penalty.

Smurfette

15/8(-25%)
(5) Smurfette 15/8, Fair form in 2 bumpers last season and made an encouraging start to her hurdle career when fourth of 17 at Warwick (2m, heavy) on reappearance 5 weeks ago, unable to sustain effort after travelling well. A bold show looks assured with improvement on the cards.
Fourth on hurdle debut at Warwick; that form reads well and she's open to improvement.

Princess Of Mercia

12/1(-33%)
(4) Princess Of Mercia 12/1, £15,000 3-y-o, Blue Bresil mare. Half-sister to fairly useful chaser Party Fuzz. Wears tongue strap. Worth a market check for in-form stable.

Vive De Charnie

22/1(-38%)
(6) Vive De Charnie 22/1, Ran to a fair level in a brace of bumpers for Jamie Snowden 10 months apart. Low-key start over hurdles for this yard at Newcastle, however, and might be more of a handicap type. Headgear goes on.
Well beaten last month but after absence; the first-time hood & drop back in trip may help.

|PU| (2) It's For You Mum (100/1 -203%)
It's For You Mum

100/1(-203%)
(2) It's For You Mum 100/1, Well held on her only start in bumpers and similar story on completed outing over hurdles. Hard to fancy.
She's been a well-beaten sixth on both completed starts.
LTO Selection:

12:15 Hexham Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Lunar Discovery justified favouritism on her hurdling debut over C&D and should have plenty more to come, but she could find it difficult to give her 7lb penalty away to SMURFETTE. The daughter of Blue Bresil showed plenty of promise to finish fourth at Warwick and she would have learned a great deal from that experience, so it would be no surprise to see her get off the mark. Any market confidence behind Princess Of Mercia on her first outing would be of interest.

LUNAR DISCOVERY overcame mistakes to make a successful start in this sphere over C&D and, with her jumping likely to be sharper this time, she's worth chancing to defy a penalty. Smurfette is an obvious threat having shaped nicely at Warwick recently and March Wind can feature if she takes to the new discipline.

Two-time bumper winner LUNAR DISCOVERY scored on heavy ground over C&D last month and is taken to make it 2-2 over hurdles.

Brother to 3 winners, including smart hurdler Closing Ceremony and useful hurdler/smart chaser Highland Lodge, and half-brother to another 3 winners. Won last of 4 starts in Irish points (Apr 16). Likely type for top yard.
Well-bred Irish point winner; appeals given the weak form on offer from today's rivals.

Annie Express

12/1(-71%)
(8) Annie Express 12/1, £35,000 buy after easily off mark in Irish points at third attempt (Mar 26). Shaped with promise prior to unseating at Exeter on hurdling debut and looks open to improvement.
Irish point win; 16-1, starting to fade when she unseated two out in a 2m2f novice here.
3
3rd (1) Jemura (4/1 -20%)
Jemura

4/1(-20%)
(1) Jemura 4/1, Promise in sole point. Only modest form in 2 bumpers and folded tamely when 29 lengths fourth on Kempton hurdle debut in May. However, he retains potential for his top stable and it's possible he'll pack more punch at the finish after wind surgery.
Off since wind surgery in May; reported in Stable Tour to have "done particularly well".

Kruger Park

11/2(+0%)
(3) Kruger Park 11/2, From a good family and shaped with encouragement when third in a Hereford bumper on debut a year ago. However, disappointed next 2 outings and well held both starts over hurdles this season.

(6) Rum Cove 125/1, £30,000 3-y-o, Black Sam Bellamy gelding. Half-brother to 3 winners, including chase winner in Italy Saxo Sol and fair French hurdler Beau Fixe. Offered little in Exeter bumper.
14-1, always behind in bumper here (2m, good to soft) last month; now has his tongue tied.
LTO Selection:

12:20 Exeter Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 22f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

TOSS OF A COIN got off the mark at the fourth time of asking in the pointing sphere and appears to have been found a nice opportunity for his Rules debut. A full-brother to former Becher Chase winner Highland Lodge and Grade 2-winning hurdler Closing Ceremony, who both relished testing conditions, it would be no surprise to see him follow suit. Stable companion Kruger Park is entitled to build on what he has achieved to date over timber, while a wind operation might aid the cause of Jemura.

TOSS OF A COIN fetched quite a bit at the sales after winning an Irish point so looks an obvious player for his top yard. Annie Express offered something to work on here last month and is next best ahead of Jemura, who may fare better after wind surgery.

It is easy to side with the well-bred, Nicholls-trained TOSS OF A COIN who makes his debut under rules after winning an Irish point.

LTO Selection:

12:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This could be the day that things finally click for GLOVES, having been a shade unlucky on her last two starts when slowly away and staying on late. The booking of Jim Crowley catches the eye and she can overturn form with Mart, who got the better of her at Newcastle and arrives on a hat-trick. Wolverhampton winner Torvar and the unexposed Chapman are expected to be thereabouts as well.

GLOVES did well under the circumstances to get so close after yet another tardy start when second at Southwell last time and looks ready to strike. Torvar and Mart arrive on the back of career-best wins so are obvious threats.

The filly GLOVES is holding herself back with slow starts but hopefully the new cheekpieces can help in that respect.

BEBSIDE BANTER denied odds-on favourite Breeze Of Wind by just under three lengths on his first start after wind surgery at Sedgefield. The six-year-old is now 3lb worse off, but should have more to offer on only his second chase start and can confirm that form to record a double. Breeze Of Wind is still the main threat and could get a little closer. Of the remainder, Artic Mann makes most appeal on his return to fences.

BEBSIDE BANTER looked a natural over fences when beating Breeze of Wind at Sedgefield 4 weeks ago and he can confirm the placings despite a 3 lb swing. Artic Mann looks best of the others.

Modest over hurdles, BEBSIDE BANTER looks a better chaser and is taken to beat Breeze Of Wind and Artic Mann.

12:50 Exeter Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

PERCY VEERING has returned to fences this season in the right manner, with victories at Warwick and Ffos Las, having failed to complete on both attempts last season. A 6lb rise for his most recent success is unlikely to inconvenience him as he continues to progress. Williamdeconqueror was just denied at Lingfield on his return to action and has to enter calculations, while chasing debutant Caeruleum is open to improvement following his recent spin at Wincanton.

PERCY VEERING is on the up as a chaser and, in a thin race, he makes most appeal as he bids to complete the hat-trick. Williamdeconqueror is the only other to arrive on the back of a solid showing, so he's feared most.

The hat-trick may well beckon for PERCY VEERING, although Williamdeconqueror would deserve a win and Caeruleum is unexposed.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

STINTINO SUNSET is progressing well and the step up in trip can help eke out further improvement as she attempts to build upon a commanding success at Chelmsford. A 4lb rise looks manageable and she gets the vote ahead of the returning Scarborough Castle and Showlan Spirit, who found only one too strong at Kempton last month. Lost In Time and Placated also need considering.

STINTINO SUNSET powered home to score with something to spare at Chelmsford and is well worth a chance to defy a rise in the hope that this is truly run. Showlan Spirit is a danger having run well at Kempton and Scarborough Castle isn't without hope for all that he has fitness to prove after 7 months off.

She'll need to see out this longer trip but STINTINO SUNSET is likeably consistent and she had a nice bit in hand at Chelmsford.

LTO Selection:

13:05 Leicester Maiden Chase (Class 3) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

APPLE AWAY kept on improving throughout last season over hurdles and ended the campaign by landing the Sefton at Aintree. Lucinda Russell's mare wasn't disgraced when third in a hot graduation chase at Haydock on her first crack at fences and she has been found a decent opportunity here. Makin'yourmindup shaped as though he would improve from his chasing debut, when fourth at Exeter. He is the most likely to serve it up to the selection because Alaphilippe's jumping let him down at Cheltenham and he has something to prove on his third attempt in this sphere.

An interesting opener as it features smart prospects MAKIN'YOURMINDUP and Apple Away. Both are likely to benefit from their recent first experience of chasing, with the former narrowly preferred for Paul Nicholls.

Apple Away has a good chance at today's weights but MAKIN'YOURMINDUP made a better start to his chasing career.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

JUGE ET PARTI returned from a 196-day break to finish second over C&D last month and he is now 2lb higher for that effort. James Ewart's 10-year-old remains well treated on his best form, though, and can record his seventh career victory. Zwicky is in great heart and was far from disgraced when third at Doncaster. He will be dangerous, while Beaumesnil is the least exposed in this field and could also have a say on only his second handicap start.

ZWICKY is a handicapper going the right way and can resume winning ways with Sean Quinlan back in the saddle. Paddy The Horse should be sharper for his chase reappearance and is now 3 lb lower than when winning a handicap here last season so he's second choice ahead of the low-mileage Beaumesnil.

Although beaten last time, ZWICKY is progressive sort with form on slow ground and is taken to beat Juge Et Parti.

DON'T TELL SU showed signs of greenness throughout the contest when runner-up on his hurdling debut at Chepstow and the five-year-old, who drops back in trip on this occasion, is expected to have learned plenty from that experience. Nordic Storm is an interesting newcomer who is from the family of former smart 2m chaser Kadarann, while Doyen Quest is capable of leaving behind his effort in a Listed bumper at Cheltenham last month.

DON'T TELL SU bumped into a subsequent Grade 2 winner when second on his Chepstow hurdle debut and can go one better now for the Paul Nicholls team. Dan Skelton bumper winner Doyen Quest looks the obvious danger, with Letthedustsettle best of the remainder.

Inexperience was evident from DON'T TELL SU on his hurdling debut but he gave a subsequent Grade 2 winner plenty to think about.

13:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

C&D winner LARGO BAY has reached the frame at Kempton the last twice and competes off the same rating as the latest of those efforts. The son of Flintshire has arguably the best current form in this contest and Kieran Shoemark can steer him to victory. Strictly Dreaming was well held over track and trip last month, but a further 3lb drop in the weights and the booking of Jim Crowley suggests she could be ready to put her best foot forward. Sarkha's third at Newcastle makes him another to note.

SARKHA took a big step back in the right direction when third at Newcastle 4 weeks ago and is potentially on a good mark if building on that. Largo Bay and Alghazaal head the dangers.

Largo Bay is a solid option in refitted headgear but ALGHAZAAL is preferred. His recent third places look better than Largo Bay's.

LORD OF KERAK's fitness would have been tested due to the lack of obstacles on his return at Aintree and he understandably got tired in the closing stages. The drop back in trip is in his favour and a recent wind operation, along with first-time cheekpieces, could help him gain a first success over fences. Happy And Fine ran with encouragement when third at Wetherby on his chasing bow and is capable of taking a step forward, while Kepagge appears best of the remainder.

A dual winner over hurdles last term, HAPPY AND FINE produced a promising first effort in this sphere when third at Wetherby 39 days ago, coping well with the demands of a well-run race against experienced rivals. Open to improvement, he can build on that effort with victory here. Lord of Kerak should be sharper for his Aintree reappearance and rates next best, ahead of Kepagge.

All five runners have something going for them but HAPPY AND FINE was a very creditable third on his chasing debut and appeals most.

13:45 Hexham Handicap Chase (Class 5) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Runner-up on his latest appearance over C&D and a winner here in April, GIBBERWELL should not be inconvenienced by heavy ground and appears to have lots in his favour. He is preferred to Ballylinch, who has made an excellent start to his chasing career and can give the selection the most to think about. Faith Loving is another to consider if bouncing back to the form of last month's success at Fairyhouse.

BALLYLINCH has made a good start to his chasing career and he appeals as the likeliest winner over Gibberwell, who almost landed his second C&D gamble last month and similar market strength behind him would be most notable. Event of Sivola can complete the placings.

James Bowen's mount GIBBERWELL (nap) has run really well on both visits to Hexham and he earns the vote ahead of Ballylinch.

13:50 Exeter Handicap Chase (Class 3) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

SIR PSYCHO was quite taking when opening his account over fences on his stable bow at Ascot last month and Harry Derham's inmate is fancied to defy a 7lb rise in the ratings. Although Stormy Flight would make more appeal over further, he shouldn't be underestimated off a tumbling rating, while Honneur D'Ajonc races off his last winning mark and he is another to note for an in-form yard.

SIR PSYCHO made a positive start for this yard back over fences when winning at Ascot on his return and this looks a good opportunity with all 3 of his rivals arriving with something to prove. Stormy Flight is selected for the forecast.

It's hard to get away from SIR PSYCHO who is only one of these to have run a race of note last time out when impressive at Ascot.

LTO Selection:

14:00 Lingfield Handicap (Class 3) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

INTERVENTION successfully recorded a double when scoring over 7f here, for which he is penalised. The six-year-old takes a step back in distance, which may not cause him too many problems from his good draw, and he is fancied to go in again. Gulliver drops in grade off a 2lb lower rating than his underwhelming seventh at Newcastle so has to enter the equation, along with Way To Dubai, who has his third start for the Charlie Fellowes yard.

BUCCABAY wasn't beaten far at Chelmsford last time and remains on a workable mark. The likeable Expert Agent is a potential danger starting out for a new yard, as is the hat-trick seeking Intervention.

In the hope this sets up for the closers, ANCIENT TIMES is the pick. He's dangerously well handicapped back up to 6f.

LTO Selection:

14:05 Leicester Handicap Chase (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ROYAL MER has risen 5lb for his recent success at Ffos Las and the manner of that performance suggested a step up in trip may yield more improvement from David Pipe's gelding. Justshortofabubble fell at the second-last when leading at Ludlow on his latest start and is expected to be competitive off the same mark, while Val Dancer may benefit from the application of first-time cheekpieces.

ROYAL MER impressed with his attitude as he shed the maiden tag on his first start over fences on these shores at Ffos Las 3 weeks ago, pulling clear with another in-form sort, and he's fancied to make a bold bid again. Justshortofabubble looked set to play a big part in the finish when falling 2 out at Ludlow latest and he's a big threat. Val Dancer can do best of the others.

Justshortofabubble is respected but preference is for ROYAL MER, who did well to master an in-form rival at Ffos Las last month.

14:15 Hexham Maiden Hurdle (Class 4) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

This can go the way of THE VILLAGE WAY, who must be open to plenty of improvement on the step up in trip after a highly encouraging second on debut at Wetherby. The dual point-to-point runner-up gets the vote ahead of the experienced Rowdy Romeo and Rock Danse, who took a step in the right direction when second at Uttoxeter over this distance last month.

THE VILLAGE WAY shaped as though in need of the experience when chasing home a race-fit rival at Wetherby on his Rules debut and, with that pipe-opener under his belt and this stiffer test sure to suit, he looks the way to go. Rock Danse gets the nod for forecast purposes ahead of Irish raider Rowdy Romeo and bumper winner Boy de La Vis.

Jimmy Moffatt can ready one after an absence and bumper winner BOY DE LA VIS gets the nod on his first hurdle start.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

LIBOR LAD was rewarded for his respectable runner-up efforts at Perth and Stratford when gaining a breakthrough victory at Uttoxeter. David Dennis' gelding won with enough in hand that day to suggest that a 6lb rise in the handicap is manageable so a double could be in the offing. Daany ran his best race to date when second at Wincanton recently and is feared most, ahead of Merry Monty.

LIBOR LAD got off the mark in style at Uttoxeter 17 days ago and promises to follow up from a 6 lb higher mark. Merry Monty has shaped better than the distance beaten suggests both outings this season and is second choice, ahead of Bert Wilson.

RECUERDAME had Deed Pole back in third when securing victory over C&D last month, and the handicapper may have been kind to only raise him 4lb. The seven-year-old could prove very hard to beat at this level. Divine Messenger showed a liking for the application of first-time blinkers to go in over 7f here in March and could have a say on his return to the fray. Aeroplane Mode is another to consider after running into the money at Wolverhampton.

AEROPLANE MODE caught the eye at Wolverhampton and could be the way to go, with confidence in him increased further if he is strong in the betting. This isn't a bad race for the level though and good cases can be made for Media Guest, Edmund Ironside and Recuerdame among others.

Although only third to Recuerdame over C&D 25 days ago, DEED POLE did some nice late work and could turn the tables.

Although BENNY SILVER was unable to justify favouritism when third on his chasing bow at Hereford, that was still a respectable effort. The five-year-old is open to plenty of improvement in this sphere but may not even need it to come out on top. Johnny Mac opened his account on stable debut at Hereford a fortnight ago and is unlikely to be far away off only 5lb higher, with Extraordinary Man completing the shortlist.

BENNY SILVER has displayed improved form equipped with a tongue tie/switched to handicaps, not least when third on his chase debut over further at Hereford 3 weeks ago. This drop in trip should hold no fears and he earns the vote with progress likely in this sphere. Recent Hereford scorer Johnny Mac and Howyouplaythegame head up the dangers.

Seemingly revitalised by a stable switch, JOHNNY MAC (nap) appeared to have quite a bit left in the tank when winning at Hereford.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

TRAVAIL D'ORFEVRE landed a first victory over fences when getting up to win on his reappearance at Carlisle in October, and a 3lb rise might not be enough to prevent the seven-year-old from going in again. Doyouknowwhatimean drops in distance from 2m4f having finished third at Uttoxeter last month and Dan Skelton's charge isn't taken lightly, while six-time course winner Cudgel always requires a second look at this venue.

TRAVAIL D'ORFEVRE took a step forward when scoring at Carlisle and, with his yard among the winners and further progress not out of the question, he is taken to follow up. He's up against two course specialists in Cudgel and Treshnish, mind, with the former, who was fourth behind the selection at Carlisle and now 4 lb better off for a three-length beating, feared most. Doyouknowwhatimean arguably possesses the greatest potential of these but this drop back in trip is of dubious benefit.

This course is ideal forCUDGEL, who had two decent runs to his credit in the autumn and is taken to beat Travail D'Orfevre.

There won't be many stiffer stamina tests than this all season and that should play into the hands of SILVER IN DISGUISE. A disqualified 'winner' of a marathon event at Chepstow in the past, the grey is best when the mud is flying and advertised his well-being with a strong third-place effort at Carlisle on his reappearance, only tiring late on. The progressive Lyrical Genius also shaped well on his return and has to be considered off bottom weight. Golden Sovereign has gone well fresh in the past and may throw up some value.

This marathon trip should be right up BROOMFIELD PRESENT's street and he is taken to make it third time lucky over fences. The 7-y-o's reappearance effort in a competitive 3m handicap here was solid and his subsequent exit at Uttoxeter was through no fault of his own. Silver In Disguise is a proven stayer who won't mind deep ground and he is feared most ahead of Golden Sovereign.

This sort of trip could be the making of LYRICAL GENIUS (nap) but it also holds major interest for Broomfield Present.

NATURE WATCH wasn't quite able to justify warm favouritism when touched off on his belated introduction here last month, but he should take some stopping with that experience to draw on. Wolverhampton debut winner Verbier had excuses for a subsequent flop at Redcar (didn't cope with the deep ground) and remains of interest being an expensively-bought daughter of Frankel. A market move for newcomers Mahboob and Birthday Angel would be interesting.

NATURE WATCH shaped with plenty of promise when second on his recent debut and has to be considered the one to beat with improvement on the cards, though strong market support for newcomer Mahboob, who makes plenty of appeal on paper, would put a slightly different slant on matters. Verbier retains potential having failed to handle testing ground at Redcar in October and needs considering, also.

The Godolphin gelding NATURE WATCH was a promising second on his recent debut at Wolverhampton and is taken to go one better.

THE EDGAR WALLACE appreciated the return to more forceful tactics when gaining a second success over fences on his reappearance. Although a 7lb rise in the ratings will make life tougher for Kim Bailey's eight-year-old, he appears capable of more and shades the verdict over fellow last-time-out winner Mylesfromwicklow, who is 6lb higher for that Huntingdon defeat of the same rival The Edgar Wallace beat at Wetherby. Ubetya makes most appeal of the remainder.

THE EDGAR WALLACE was clearly well served by a second wind op/refitted tongue tie as he made a winning reappearance at Wetherby 6 weeks ago and in the hope he can hold it together this term, all looks set fair for another bold showing. Mylesfromwicklow had some strong hurdles form to his name and impressed when making a winning chase debut at Huntingdon 18 days ago, so he rates the chief threat.

It might be worth chancing UBETYA, who didn't run badly last month, is suited by slow ground and is well handicapped.

JAAFEL can add to James McAuley's great record in claimers at this venue. The Dark Angel gelding beat Banana Tree by four lengths over an extended 10 furlongs this autumn and holds stablemate Autocrat on running behind Luke Short over C&D. The selection hasn't matched that form on both outings since but should appreciate the drop to this grade. Banana Tree has built up a sequence of runner-up places, including behind the well-bred Saturn over this trip a fortnight ago. Pachmena won here three years ago and bridged a long losing run when taking a lady riders' handicap over this trip at the Curragh in October. Inigo Jones held a career-high rating of 94 and was successful in Bahrain last winter for Jamie Osborne, while Neandra is another making her Irish debut having won twice for Andrew Balding, including over this trip at Lingfield.

PACHMENA was out of her depth at Bath last time but, back on home soil and down in grade, she's worth a chance to get her head in front. Jaafel is an obvious threat down in grade and Banana Three is worthy of respect on the back of a good second in a C&D handicap.

Beaten by a horse with a wonderful pedigree last time, BANANA THREE has a fair chance of making a breakthrough after three seconds

LTO Selection:

15:20 Hexham Handicap Hurdle (Class 5) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

YOU SAY ITS OVER produced a much-improved effort when runner-up over C&D last month and a breakthrough triumph could await Micky Hammond's mare off only 1lb higher in the ratings. Cowboy Cooper was just under a length behind the selection on that occasion and he must enter calculations too, although a bigger threat may emerge from Velasco, who posted a respectable third on his reappearance at Newcastle recently.

COWBOY COOPER has solid claims if building on his third here last month when just behind You Say Its Over, who must have a good chance also. My Last Oscar is another big player dropped in grade.

The vote goes to VELASCO, who won over C&D in June and ran creditably when third off this mark at Newcastle last time.

It's likely that both Drumheller and Matthias will build on their encouraging debuts at Sandown and Uttoxeter respectively but it's still hard to get away from Paul Nicholls' 320,000-pounds newcomer QUEBECOIS. A half-brother to a host of winning jumpers - most notably the smart Brindisi Breeze - the gelding showed up well in a point-to-point in the spring and could prove a cut above on his Rules debut.

The market will no doubt prove informative with the majority unraced but it's hard to ignore the claims of QUEBECOIS, who cost £320,000 and finished runner-up on his sole start in Irish points earlier this year. Jack Black ticks plenty of boxes representing leading connections so he may emerge as the main danger, with the once-raced Drumheller and Kalahari King another couple to consider.

The most interesting runner is QUEBECOIS, who joined Paul Nicholls for big money after his very promising Irish point debut.

15:30 Lingfield Handicap (Class 6) 10f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

None of these are overly-persuasive so it could pay to take a chance on TRIBAL WISDOM finally obliging at the 12th attempt back over a longer trip. Ian Williams' gelding has plummeted in the handicap, but has shaped better than the bare result suggested in each of his last two starts when short of room. Pink Lily won a similar event over C&D with a bit to spare in the summer and should come on for her latest run, while Shalfa is of interest with Taylor Fisher taking off a handy 3lb.

SHALFA is in good order and she could be the way to go. True Nation probably has races in her, while Come On John remains in form and has gone close over C&D.

A chance is taken on CURTIZ who ran a nice first race back from a layoff and his next run perhaps came too soon.

LTO Selection:

15:35 Leicester Handicap Chase (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

BRULURE NOIRE appeared to score with plenty left in the locker when accounting for No Quarter Asked on his seasonal bow at Ffos Las last month and the six-year-old could make light work of a 5lb rise in the handicap. Clonakilty has undergone a wind procedure since his fourth-placed chase debut at Huntingdon and he may emerge as the chief threat, ahead of Artemis Kimbo, who should appreciate a return to this distance.

BRULURE NOIRE scored with any amount in hand on return from 7 months off at Ffos Las 31 days ago and, with conditions firmly in his favour, he's fancied to defy a 5 lb higher mark. A recent wind op may have benefited Clonakilty and he looks the danger.

A couple of these still have potential but BRULURE NOIRE is the one with least to prove, having won on heavy ground last month.

15:45 Dundalk Handicap 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

MASONBROOK MEADOW made a pleasing debut over the minimum trip at Naas back in July and should appreciate this drop back in trip following a couple of handicap outings. She didn't enjoy the clearest of runs over seven furlongs and, last time, looked a big threat early in the straight before finding a mile too far. Relentless Flyer has progressed in four starts, including when beaten less than two lengths on her handicap debut here last month, and has since changed hands from Joseph O'Brien to the Hartys for just 1,500 euros. Cool Dan showed promise for Ger Lyons, including when second here in a claimer, while Victor's Choice may find this a bit sharp after finishing well over longer distances.

It might be worth giving another chance to VICTOR'S CHOICE to confirm her Galway promise now dropping back in trip. Eddie G is an interesting handicap newcomer for the Ado McGuinness team, while Masonbrook Meadow faded late on over 1m here last time and is another who may benefit from this return to shorter.

Separated by a neck over 1m last month, Victor's Choice and MASONBROOK MEADOW renew rivalry; the latter can fare best over this trip

16:15 Dundalk Maiden 6f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

BILLBOA made a pleasing debut when third to Almendares over C&D back in March and again showed a preference for this surface when putting some modest turf runs behind him on his return to the Polytrack last month. The Willie Browne-trained gelding was heavily supported when beating all bar Maggie McGrath and losses may now be recovered. Cross Border is an obvious threat but has been proving expensive to follow and was odds-on when beaten nearly three lengths by Never Cry Never here last month. Eddie Lynam's charge is closely matched with Loma Larnee on running behind Smullen's Pride at Down Royal, while Local Girl had Hokusai two lengths behind when runner-up to the progressive Pier Pressure here last month.

CROSS BORDER is given one final chance with a visor replacing the cheekpieces. Local Girl will be a threat if fully effective down at 6f. Billboa has been placed on both visits here and is next on the list.

Perhaps this drop in trip will help to bring out the best in LOCAL GIRL who is rated just a pound lower than Cross Border

16:45 Dundalk Maiden 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

PERRETTI cost 180,000 euros as a yearling at the Goffs Orby Sale and the well-bred son of Lope De Vega had Zenato behind when keeping on nicely into third behind Taraj on debut over a mile here last month. He should learn plenty from that experience and can cope with the drop back in trip. Similar sentiments apply to McVay, who makes a quick reappearance having also shaped well on debut here over a mile last Friday in the maiden won by Raknah. Genesis is one to keep a close eye on in the market as his half-brother Dandy Warhol made a successful debut here last year for the same connections. Bruce Lightning had Exceeding and Rebelsontherun both behind when runner-up to Seti over C&D a fortnight ago.

PERRETTI finished to good effect on debut over 1m at this course and, while the drop back in trip isn't necessarily in his favour, he should have enough to open his account at the second attempt. McVay also arrives on the back of a promising start, so he's regarded as the main danger ahead of Rebelsontherun.

Despite a slight reservation based on a drop in trip, PERRETTI showed enough here on his debut to suggest he can win a maiden

LTO Selection:

17:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

The key to this race looks to be the recent clash here between the likes of PERFECT SPRING (second), Birkie Boy (third) and Quiet Affair (fourth). Andrew Balding's filly should be suited by stepping back up in trip and she can get off the mark at the fifth time of asking. Hand Jive has run with plenty of credit on his last two starts and he is another capable of being in the shake-up.

PERFECT SPRING returned from a break with a good second over 6f here 4 weeks ago and can go one better now back over 7f. Quiet Affair wasn't too far behind the selection in fourth on that occasion and should go well again if the blinkers continue to make a difference. Glen Heste is a handicap newcomer to monitor closely in the betting, while Charlie Johnston's Hand Jive could also have a say if stall 14 doesn't prove too troublesome.

The selection is DAMIA who ran well when fourth in a big field on stable debut at Leicester last time. This return to 7f should suit.

17:15 Dundalk Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

JAMES HENRY deserves a chance of luck. The Leanne Breen-trained gelding has filled the runner-up spot on six occasions, including his latest three starts at this venue. He was beaten a head by El Bello over C&D last month and didn't enjoy the clearest of passages when again narrowly denied by Theriverrunsdeep last Wednesday. Bucky Larson, a seven-time winner, including three at this venue, has dropped significantly in the ratings since being claimed out of Ger Lyons' yard just over a year ago, but has been consistent since returning to the Polytrack and beat all bar Gobi Star last time. Rattletheonionbag is another to consider after three maiden runs, while Morning Approach returned to form here last time and Jack Kearney claims a valuable 5lb.

DUTCH GLORY was never involved at Leopardstown last time but she was on the upgrade prior to that so can bounce back on her return from a break. Morning Approach and Nyla Rua head the dangers.

Drawn wide when second here last time BUCKY LARSON can go one place better. He is preferred to the frustrating James Henry

Old Chums is another open to improvement, while Regal Defence and Sold The Dream look to be the pick of the newcomers.

RASCAL RECKNELL has changed hands for 215,000 gns since his encouraging debut effort at Sandown over the summer and is given a chance to build on that. Regal Defence, Sold The Dream and Lessay are newcomers who look likely types on paper, while it would also be no surprise were Charlie Appleby's Symbol of Power to prove a different proposition at the second time of asking.

The choice is RASCAL RECKNELL who was picked up for 215,000gns after running so well on debut for Owen Burrows at Sandown in September.

LTO Selection:

17:45 Dundalk Handicap 7f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

DROMANTINE won a nursery over C&D just before Christmas last year and has been given a chance by the handicapper. The Conyngham Lodge-trained filly has shaped quite well since returning here this autumn and was only beaten about a length when fifth last time over a mile. Chica Power is well suited by this trip, having won three times over C&D, and again ran well in a claimer last Wednesday, while Leopardstown maiden winner River Derwent took advantage of a major drop in the ratings this year when beating James Henry here last month. The Bog Bank is a model of consistency at this venue and while she's done all her winning over a mile, looks sure to again give a good account.

DROMANTINE took a step back in the right direction when fifth over a mile here last month and, with this drop back in trip a good move and eased 2 lb, she is pretty appealing despite the wide draw. River Derwent isn't nailed on to back up his C&D success 3 weeks ago but will be a threat if able to do so, while The Bog Bank is also shortlisted, along with Chica Power.

Runner-up off 81 in a Curragh handicap last year, a 7lb rise may not prevent RIVER DERWENT from following up last month's C&D victory

18:00 Kempton Maiden (Class 5) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

A chance can be taken on FASHION SHOW, who is related to multiple winners and should be suited by this trip on her debut. The daughter of Galileo Gold is preferred to fellow newcomer Attila The Honey, as well as Born A Rebel, who is expected to appreciate going up in trip after a promising third over 7f at Chelmsford last month. Others to note include Jaunty Dancer, Mizuumi and Ortigia.

This will probably go to a debutante, with BELARMINDAR chanced first time up for a yard that has seen a number of their recent newcomers shape well. Fashion Show is also worth a look. Born A Rebel sets a modest standard and the betting will surely prove informative.

The form choice is BORN A REBEL. Flying Finn is an interesting newcomer. Heed the market signals for further guidance.

18:15 Dundalk Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

The trainer's daughter Ciara Flynn gets a good tune out of POWER DRIVE at this venue and the veteran gelding appears on an attractive mark as he bids for a sixth course win. The eight-year-old ran a cracker on his return to this venue last month when a length third to Rhythm And Tyne, and the form of that race has worked out well since. Keilah is closely matched with the selection on that run and merits serious consideration with scope for further improvement. Katonah has been placed on varying ground conditions, including in deep ground at Galway last time, and it will be interesting to see how she copes with this surface. Breagagh and Slieve Bearnagh are others to consider.

KATONAH remains a maiden but she very much caught the eye when finishing third in a big-field Galway handicap back in October, likely she'd have gone very close but for meeting with trouble in running. She gets the nod on AW debut, with Wajaaha who has been in good form recently rating the lead threat. Power Drive and Picpoul also make some appeal.

Fourth here on handicap debut, KEILAH is selected to make the breakthrough; she is closely matched with Power Drive but is unexposed

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Things appeared to drop kindly for Timetobenice when he opened his account over C&D last month and the concession of 3lb to FOURONEOHFEVER may just prove too much. George Boughey's colt hasn't done too much wrong in placing on both 7f starts to date and the combination of an extra furlong, plus William Buick taking over in the saddle, can help him make it third-time lucky. All Greek To Me, a half-brother to a US Grade 3 winner, looks potentially interesting from a newcomer perspective.

FOURONEOHFEVER ran another promising race at Newcastle and looks the way to go up in trip with William Buick booked. Sense of Charm is an interesting newcomer and C&D-winner Timetobenice can go well under a penalty, while there is also more to come from Portsmouth.

As regards the few runners with experience, FOURONEOHFEVER is preferred ahead of Timetobenice.

LTO Selection:

18:45 Dundalk Handicap 11f Race Speed Rating Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's race.

A tightly-knit handicap, with a number of form lines linked around recent dual course winner Rhythm And Tyne, and OLD PECULIER may come out on top. The Mark Fahey-trained gelding had Hinemoa just behind when a close fifth last month and again went close over C&D last time, when only headed close home by Oakley. The application of blinkers may help to get the job done. Hinemoa had Doctor Grace, a C&D winner last month, a length behind when they filled the places here earlier this month. Streetscape advertised his chance when third in that race won by Doctor Grace, while Flier, Dark Street and handicap debutant Marians Gal are others to consider.

It's been a while since GRACESOLUTION got her head in front, but if first-time headgear can eke out that bit extra, Ross O'Sullivan's 6-y-o is fancied to build on her third here last month at the expense of Doctor Grace, who continues to go from strength to strength for her in-form stable. Old Peculier and Dark Street are another couple who could well have a say in an open-looking finale.

A dual course winner over 1m4f, HINEMOA showed her effectiveness over this trip when a close second last time and can go one better

LTO Selection:

19:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A decent contest in which Dark Side Thunder is again likely to be involved after incurring just a 3lb rise for notching a sixth all-weather win (from just 10 starts) over C&D last time out. Course specialist Sandy Paradise should also be in the mix but, if there is any value, it may lie with PERFECT THUNDER, who might appreciate this return to 7f from a falling mark after attracting support on her AW debut at Lingfield.

SOAR ABOVE has failed to beat a rival home the last twice but he usually contests higher-grade handicaps than this and is of strong interest off a very attractive mark. Crack Regiment will be a threat if he puts his best foot forward and the in-form Dark Side Thunder has to be on the shortlist. Others with claims in an open-looking race include McLean House, Matty Too and Sandy Paradise.

The vote goes to DARK SIDE THUNDER (nap) who is 6-10 on the AW and whose record around here reads 1131.

19:30 Kempton Listed (Class 1) 12f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

All eyes will be on Godolphin's globetrotting star REBEL'S ROMANCE as he bids for a 10th win from just 16 starts and although the five-year-old wasn't at his best in New York when last seen, the former Breeders' Cup Turf winner should still have too much class for this field. Ralph Beckett's Max Vega showed up well when third in a Group 3 event over C&D in the autumn so the fact that Hector Crouch prefers to ride lightly-raced stablemate Salt Bay is an intriguing pointer.

REBEL'S ROMANCE failed to land the odds in a Grade 1 contest in the US last time, but he is the clear form pick back in calmer waters here and his record on the all-weather (4-7) is also compelling. Base Note did the job well at Chelmsford last month and he could be the one to follow the selection home, with Salt Bay best of the rest.

Rebel's Romance is taken on with SALT BAY, who remains open to further improvement. Base Note is second choice.

LTO Selection:

20:00 Kempton Handicap (Class 4) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Granary Queen made the frame over 7f here on her latest outing and has been dropped 1lb so she is an interesting contender taking a step back in trip. However, the vote goes to MOMAER, who went in by a neck in heavy conditions at Newmarket last month and only has 3lb extra to contend with. The daughter of Belardo shed her maiden tag on the all-weather at Lingfield and could record her fourth career success. Crimson Angel is the pick of the rest after her second at Wolverhampton.

The one who appeals most is MOMAER on the back of her improved performance at Newmarket where she landed a big-field handicap from the front. This 3 lb higher mark should be within reach and Mark Loughnane's charge is marginally preferred to Crimson Angel, who was just touched off at Wolverhampton recently and is a big threat off the same mark. Kodias Sangarius and Granary Queen are each-way contenders.

Back on AW the vote goes to HOLY FIRE, who has steadily progressive RPRs in this sphere. Momaer is feared most.

LTO Selection:

20:30 Kempton Handicap (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Moorgate has been in solid form and his latest second over 5f at Lingfield was another pleasing display, although his improvement has come over shorter trips so it's best to side with REVE DE MAGRITTE. The four-year-old may have been only sixth at Wolverhampton last week, but she finished strongly and is now aided by the services of Danny Tudhope. She goes off the same rating and could prove tough to beat. Agapanther has the cheekpieces removed and completes the shortlist.

MOORGATE finally got off the mark at Lingfield last month and shaped well despite seeming to find the drop in trip against him when runner-up there last week, so gets the nod returned to 7f. Seas of Elzaam hasn't shown much in his last couple of runs but looks particularly interesting dropped in grade for a yard who know how to land a gamble, with Magicinthemaking also considered for the placings despite being drawn widest of all.

Tony Carroll holds a promising hand with BAULAC and Time Patrol, who are both interesting returned to 7f.
