17:10 Aintree (Class 4) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

Having unseated on his first two attempts over timber, RONNIES RULES was able to keep the partnership intact to record a commanding success at Ffos Las recently. He must shoulder a penalty for that success but can repeat the dose. Twice a beaten favourite over flights so far, perhaps returning to the scene of last year's bumper triumph will help Bear Market. Lemon Leaf heads the remainder.

Recent Ffos Las winner Ronnies Rules is opposed with LEMON LEAF, who was fourth in a good Naas bumper in December.

17:45 Aintree (Class 3) 19f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

Although ASTA LA PASTA struggled in the Sussex Champion Chase at Plumpton last month, this isn't as competitive and there is a real chance he'll gain an uncontested lead. Flic Ou Voyou hit the woodwork in a valuable veterans' final at Haydock latest and is respected, along with Sainte Doctor, who has improved markedly over the larger obstacles since returning in February.

The vote goes to PRINCE ESCALUS who ran well to a point at Perth last month, after a layoff, and has slipped to a tempting mark.

18:20 Aintree (Class 2) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

RAMBO T left it late to get up at Perth on his return to action and although a 4lb rise looks harsh given the manner of that victory, another bold showing likely beckons. The son of Ocovango has an excellent strike-rate over timber and is taken to repel the likely challenge of Fingal's Hill, who struck the woodwork at Kelso when attempting to follow up on his earlier Newcastle success. Aucunrisque should not be underestimated either.

Neil Mulholland's IKE SPORT ran well in two competitive handicaps (one over C&D) last month and gets the verdict in this easier race.

18:55 Aintree (Class 2) 24f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

FANTASTIC LADY has struggled in some very competitive events the last twice but it would be no surprise to see Nicky Henderson's mare bounce back to form in this company. The Wolf has been knocking hard on the door of late and is likely to be in the mix once again, while Sail Away edges out Stormin Crossgales to be best of the rest.

This can go to SAIL AWAY (nap), who is only 2lb higher than when keeping on well to go close in a series final in March.

MASKED DANCE showed more when second at Huntingdon earlier in the month and that form gives the seven-year-old a big chance here. Others who merit places on the shortlist include Midnight Ginger, Wudya and Hiconic.

LIVELY CITIZEN benefited from the application of cheekpieces when running out a comfortable winner over fences at Ffos Las 10 days ago, and the veteran performer may take advantage of running off the same mark back over timber. 20:40 Aintree (Class 3) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

ANGEL OF MY DREAMS impressed when scoring in a point-to-point in March and the daughter of Jack Hobbs makes plenty of appeal on her Rules bow, especially in receipt of the four-year-old allowance. Amatchmadeinheaven got the better of Couer D'alene at Exeter and the pair are likely to go well, while others to consider include Call Me Early and Out On Her Own.

The filly ANGEL OF MY DREAMS easily won a point bumper on her debut in March and looks a pretty good candidate for this.
