The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Media Darling outran her odds when third at Newbury at 66/1, beaten four lengths despite being hampered at the start. She ought to find improvement for the experience and might prove the biggest danger to PORTSOKEN. An unlucky second at Newcastle, she finished third at Carlisle latest but might do better if ridden from off the pace here. Sapphire Princess is one to watch for Ollie Sangster having posted some solid efforts in Ireland for Ger Lyons.

Ollie Sangster's new recruit SAPPHIRE PRINCESS is the standout contender on her initial form and she gets the vote.

20/1(-122%) | (6) Gonnae No Dae That 20/1, Outpaced, below form unsuited by drop in trip beaten 7l in a handicap over 7f here last time; usually consistent; tongue-tie first time; significant jockey booking; maiden looks in need of 1m+ Still unexposed but he needs improvement with a tongue-tie added at this new trip. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

We Still Believe has won four times over this distance and although not at his best when seventh here behind CISCO DISCO last week, he is coming down to a mark off which he can go close. The selection carries a 4lb penalty for that comfortable success over C&D and, if he remains at that level, he should confirm the form with the runner-up Sophiesticate, who is a consistent type.

Preference is for CISCO DISCO, who had three of today's rivals behind when forging clear over C&D last Monday.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Jannas Journey has won her last four starts, two over course and distance, and seems sure to prove popular carrying a 4lb penalty after winning here last week. She is hard to oppose but a chance is taken on AL MUQDAD. Only beaten a length and a half at Doncaster last month, he boasts good form over the trip with four wins, three of which were off higher marks. Judgment Call is noted too.

This can go to the highly progressive JANNAS JOURNEY, who completed a four-timer in smooth style over C&D last Monday.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

A winner at York last month and not beaten too far at Hamilton last time out, the veteran ABERAMA GOLD still retains plenty of ability and this looks like an ideal opportunity with the stable in top form of late. Now in the hands of trainer Julie Camacho after breaking the maiden over 5f at Bath in June, Pianoforte is of interest on his handicap debut, as well as Kelpie Grey.

The vote goes to the lightly raced 4yo PIANOFORTE, who won at Bath last time and could make a big splash in handicaps for his new yard.

RAVISHING BEAUTY continues to go from strength to strength and a 2lb rise for her most recent success at Nottingham may not be enough to prevent her from landing the hat-trick. Runner-up on two of his last three starts, including at Carlisle most recently, Runninsonofagun can follow the selection home, ahead of Dwindling Funds, who was a winner here last month.

This can go to RAVISHING BEAUTY (nap), who has won two in a row and can strike again to make it 3-4 since cheekpieces have been added.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

This can go the way of BILLY BATHGATE, who has been a consistent sort this season and performed with plenty of credit last time out when second over a furlong further at Redcar. A mark of 51 still looks manageable and he is narrowly preferred to Irish raider Waystar, who is best judged on her penultimate effort at Navan when fourth over this distance. Annandale and Glasses Up are noted as well.

Most of these come with risks attached but BILLY BATHGATE won over 1m6f at Redcar in June and was runner-up back there last Saturday.
Ths is the racecard key.
