A promising third on her recent stable debut at Roscommon, GLITZ AND GLAMOUR can gain a first career win. Unplaced on all three point-to-point runs, the Eric McNamara-trained filly took a significant step forward when reaching the frame at the first time of asking over flights. Travelling into the race easily, the daughter of Walk In The Park wandered around approaching two out, before staying on late. With the benefit of that experience, she can score here. Dual bumper winner Dunkerque has yet to replicate that form over hurdles but has time on his side. Newcomer The Grey Poet is worth a second look in the market.

A Flat winner in Denmark, DUNKERQUE has a hurdles mark of 108 and may be equal to the task of conceding weight to all his rivals

Runner-up on both starts for new connections, SPICK AND SPAN can deservedly make the breakthrough here. Despite now finishing second on six occasions, the Walk In The Park mare has shown enough to suggest that she is capable of winning her maiden. Having gained valuable experience in handicaps of late, the eight-year-old can put that to good use back in this grade. Point-to-point and bumper winner Love At Sea sets the standard off an official rating of 108. Disappointing when last seen, the seven-year-old deserves another chance. No Demand is a lightly-raced gelding who is capable of better.

Runner-up in two handicap hurdles at Sligo since a change of stable, SPICK AND SPAN reverts to maiden company with sound prospects.

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

Only weakening late on when mid-division on his handicap debut last time, PARKGARVE should appreciate this drop in trip. Making good headway entering the straight at Roscommon, the gelding dropped out of contention from two out. A half-brother to Supreme Novices' Hurdle winner Slade Steel, he should be suited to this lesser test of stamina. Eastmore is unquestionably well handicapped over flights relative to his mark on the Flat. Any market support for the Charles Byrnes-trained five-year-old should be heeded. Another smart Flat performer Realism should be noted on his debut for Enda Bolger.

This is a big drop in class for KAPTAIN BAY following his run at Bellewstown. Race fitness may give him an edge over Realism

LTO Selection:hiden content, hiden content, hiden content, hiden content

The progressive SUNNY SOUTH WEST might be able to concede weight to his rivals. A bumper winner at Clonmel in March, the Eddie Power-trained gelding was far from disgraced when fifth in the Grade 1 equivalent at the Punchestown festival subsequently. Having added a second bumper win at Tipperary in May, the five-year-old made a winning debut over hurdles at Cork earlier this month. Clearly on the upgrade, he can add to his sequence. A winner in handicap company here last time. I Am Mimi shouldn't be far away. Ned In The Park is much better than the form of his recent Roscommon run suggests.

Bumper form implies that SUNNY SOUTH WEST could be a cut above these rivals. He passed his first test over hurdles satisfactorily

With Tiernan Power Roche claiming a valuable 5lb, it might be worth taking a chance on MERCURY MISSION. While his recent efforts have been disappointing, he did win at Wexford and Limerick earlier in the year and finished a good sixth of 22 in a competitive affair at the Punchestown Festival. Making the breakthrough at this venue in May, with two subsequent winners behind, Net Boy is sure to prove popular with punters. While having to contend with top-weight, he still might be ahead of the handicapper off his current mark of 120. No worse than second in four visits to Ballinrobe, Drumgill warrants the utmost respect, while The Mediator and Jake Peter are others capable of making an impact.

The form of NET BOY's course maiden hurdle win has been franked by the runner up and he should be hard to beat on handicap debut

A weak affair and if the market speaks positively, CHANCE ANOTHER ONE will be hard to beat. The winner of a point-to-point when in the care of Cormac Doyle, he subsequently failed to make an impact in five starts for Shane Duffy. Now with Emmet Mullins and Slattery Bloodstock Limited, the Laverock six-year-old is fitted with a tongue-strap for the first time. Another Duffy to Mullins transfer yielded a positive result earlier this year, with Darcy's Friend landing a significant gamble on his debut for the latter at Leopardstown in March. Beaten by just a head on his first outing for Liam Cusack at Listowel in May, Lariat should give a good account of himself, while Klassman and top-weight Scottish Dancer are other leading hopes.

SYDNEY CRUISER is narrowly preferred off 8lb lower than when a 3l third here last August

Saddling eight winners so far this month, it might be worth siding with Andy Slattery's LADIES WELL. While she has shown very little to date, she is out of a six-time winner and could well come into her own now starting off in handicap company with a tongue-strap tried for the first time. Karloss, Gortmore Lady and Nazine all bring useful recent form to the table, while the well-bred Glens Sensation is of definite interest with Sam Ewing aboard. The winner of a point-to-point when in the care of Colin Bowe, she is out of the brilliant dual Grade 1 winner Glens Melody.

LOUGHRASK RAINBOW ran a blinder at Sligo before not staying at Tipperary and may be able to shed the maiden tag dopped back in trip

Newcomers Gameball, Largy Meadow and Mr Bretin are all of interest, with the Andy Slattery-trained former a half-brother to dual Grade 1 winner Marie's Rock. With his claim recently reduced to 5lb, Adam Ryan takes the ride on this Yeats five-year-old and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to strike on debut. For a selection, ARTSNCRAFTS gets the nod. Improving from a fifth place debut effort, he filled the runner-up spot at Kilbeggan on his latest start and had a subsequent winner behind. Successful on no less than five of his last eight rides, John Gleeson will be aboard the Emmet Mullins-trained Tricksofthetrade (first time tongue-strap). With two solid track efforts to her name, this Order Of St George bay should give a good account of herself.

ARTSNCRAFTS has been off for 89 days since finishing second at Kilbeggan but his form claims are hard to ignore

About U.K Horse Racing

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.

There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.

The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.

Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.

In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.

Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
