1st (1) (5/4 +64%)Gladiadora |
5/4(+64%) | (1) Gladiadora 5/4, Zero wins from seven career runs; raced a bit too freely when coming fourth and beaten by 2 1/4l in a handicap at Windsor latest; 5lb's lower than opening handicap mark; could figure In-form 4yo but she's now 0-7 and has something to find back in a maiden. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (3) (6/5 -9%)I Can Imagine |
6/5(-9%) | (3) I Can Imagine 6/5, Ran nine times with no win as yet; weak in the market when coming a 2l third in a maiden over 7f at Chester most recent run; tongue-tie fitted for the first time; a real contender in this 0-9 but sets clear standard on her best form and is strongly respected back up in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (4) (11/2 -214%)Seconds Count |
11/2(-214%) | (4) Seconds Count 11/2, Thrice raced maiden; looked to want further when beaten by 8 1/2l in a maiden over 7f at Redcar last time; trainer in good form; hails from a very powerful yard; a real threat in this Regressive form so far but it's still early days and she's in very good hands. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (2) (66/1 -100%)Able Bay |
66/1(-100%) | (2) Able Bay 66/1, Once raced maiden; last of four on debut; bit too much to do when coming a 76l fourth in a novice over 6f at Salisbury first-time out; all to do here on her second career start Always behind when a remote last of four on Salisbury debut (6f) last Saturday. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

If Seconds Count can bounce back to the level of her debut all-weather second she would go close, but two below-par runs since count against her and a chance is taken on I CAN IMAGINE. Third last time out when running on over shorter, connections add cheekpieces here and if they bring any improvement, that might be all she needs. Gladiadora is another to take seriously, but she has to give 7lb to her rivals as a four-year-old.

A weak race and preference is for I CAN IMAGINE, who sets a fair standard on her best form.

8/1(-78%) | (6) Banana 8/1, Game when landing a handicap by a head off the mark of 50 over 5f at Chepstow on penultimate start; since came fourth in a classified race at Nottingham latest; trainer in form; contender Reliable mare who has won twice this season and she should give it another good shot. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Symbol of Hope won this last year racing off a 2lb higher mark and he is more than capable of a decent showing. MOE'S LEGACY is looking for the hat-trick after wins over C&D and by three and a half lengths at Salisbury and the four-year-old may prove a tough nut to crack, especially being 3lb well-in under a penalty. Banana is another to consider with her jockey claiming 7lb after a close-up fourth at Nottingham.

Top of the list is hat-trick seeker MOE'S LEGACY, who is well treated under a penalty for her emphatic win at Salisbury last week.

4th (4) (25/1 -194%)Zipwire |
25/1(-194%) | (4) Zipwire 25/1, Once raced maiden; gelded before his debut run; slowly away when runner-up and beaten by 4l in a maiden here on only start; wide draw to deal with in this; could figure if building on that great effort from last time Showed promise with his 40-1 second over C&D two weeks ago and he's in the mix. |

33/1(0%) | (5) Cici's Secret 33/1, Twice raced maiden; did not get a clear run when finishing down the field in a novice at Newbury most recent; hood applied for the very first time; plenty more needed here given what she has shown so far Well held in two runs at 6f; hood is now added and has plenty to find dropped in trip. |

17/2(+0%) | (6) Double Naughty 17/2, Once raced maiden; came a 5 1/4l fourth in a novice at Newbury first-time out; hails from a powerful yard who do well with their youngsters; could come on for the run from last time Ran well for a long way on Newbury debut but she needs improvement on this drop in trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (200/1 -100%)Summer Sparkle |
200/1(-100%) | (10) Summer Sparkle 200/1, Once raced maiden; slowly away when a well beaten last of nine in a maiden at Chepstow on her racecourse debut; has the wide draw to deal with here; all to do in this contest given her debut run Big price and was always in rear when last of nine on Chepstow debut (6f) last week. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 4 race.

SPACEWOMAN almost pulled off a 25/1 shock when beaten a head on her Salisbury debut for Henry Candy, starting slowly and running on with purpose late on. Any improvement would see her getting into the mix here, but it is an open contest. Double Naughty pulled too hard on her debut to see the race out and can go well if she learns to settle, while the Richard Hughes newcomer Smartanck looks bred for the part, and could hit a top-three spot despite his lack of experience.

Simplify is respected but the vote goes to SPACEWOMAN, who made a bright start with her near-miss at Salisbury in June.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

HARDLASS found herself trapped on the rail approaching the final furlong at Ffos Las. She finished strongly for second once in the clear and another bold bid looks likely. Neptune Legend found only one too good in a handicap here on his penultimate start and could go close at this level with a similar effort, while Rogue Endeavour also returns to this venue with solid claims on his third here in June.

This can go to HARDLASS (nap), who made a bold bid over C&D in May and looked unlucky with her near-miss at Ffos Las three weeks ago.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

LAUNCESTON was sent off the strong favourite upped to 1m2f here on his belated reappearance. He found one too good on that occasion, but this extra test of stamina will play to his strengths and Sir Mark Prescott's charge can make amends. Offiah's Boy won over C&D last month and is only 2lb higher. He can have a say in the outcome and is marginally preferred to Black Smoke, who has been in fine form over longer trips of late.

Sir Mark Prescott's 3yo LAUNCESTON is open to more progress on his step up to this trip and he gets the vote ahead of Virtual Hug.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Galactic Glow won over C&D in June but a 5lb rise proved beyond him when only third at Ffos Las. It remains to be seen how well ORCHESTRAL WAVE copes with his penalty for last week's victory at Leicester, but Jack Morland's charge seemed to win with plenty left up his sleeve and looks worth sticking with. Course regular Blue Hero has returned to a winning mark and could bounce back at any time.

This can go to ORCHESTRAL WAVE, who made his breakthrough with a comfortable win at Leicester and is a big player again under penalty.
Ths is the racecard key.

Horse racing is a popular and historic sport in the UK, with a tradition dating back centuries. It is a multi-billion pound industry that attracts millions of spectators each year and generates significant economic activity.
There are two main types of horse racing in the UK: flat racing and jump racing. Flat racing is run on a level course and is typically shorter in distance, while jump racing involves horses jumping over obstacles and is generally longer in distance. Both types of racing are popular with spectators and bettors, and they take place at various racetracks throughout the country.
The most famous horse racing event in the UK is the Grand National, which is held annually at Aintree Racecourse in Liverpool. It is a jump racing event that is known for its challenging course and has become a national institution in the UK. Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
