|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (14) (40/1 -150%)Cosmic Force |

80/1(-220%) | (10) Royal Tribute 80/1, Below form beaten 7 1/2l in a handicap at Gowran Park last time; generally out of form; off a short-break; hard to recommend Both wins came over 7f in 2022, went close on AW last December, weak form since then. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (4) (4/1 +27%)Nezeeh |
4/1(+27%) | (4) Nezeeh 4/1, Beaten 4l in a handicap over 5f at Cork last time; in good form earlier in spring; sound surface suits; longer trip no issue; can give a good account Good form in May, 5f winner and runner-up in a 6f claimer, others may stay better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (11) (18/1 -140%)Grand Dante |
18/1(-140%) | (11) Grand Dante 18/1, Beaten 7l in a handicap over 6f at Fairyhouse last time; generally out of form; blinkers first time; wide draw; well treated on these terms on 2yo form; each way shout First run as a juvenile remains his best, hard to be confident, fair chance in theory. |

IN THE MINUS was a cosy winner when well backed at Limerick last month and may be able to follow up now dropped into claiming company. The Belardo gelding went up to a mark of 62 after his three-length success and, with Sam Coen taking off 7lb now, he doesn't look badly treated at the weights. Grand Dante is another unexposed three-year-old in the field that could be a contender. Casanova looks on a bit of a downward spiral but would be a big player if recapturing anywhere near his old form.

An unplaced run at this track in May is a concern, but IN THE MINUS is worth a small interest after an emphatic Limerick handicap win

50/1(-52%) | (3) Lyrae's Luck 50/1, Slowly away down the field in a maiden over 6f at Listowel most recent; hard to recommend and looks one for low grade handicaps after this Last of seven over 5f at the Curragh, remote tenth at Listowel, can be ruled out. |

WORLD TOUR is entitled to improve a bit from his debut run and could prove the one to beat. He shaped with promise when third to easy winner North Coast at Down Royal a fortnight ago and the yard's runners tend to step forward for an outing. Empty Wallet was two and a half lengths behind the selection then, but Nicola Burns takes a useful 7lb off his back now leaving him on a handy weight. Joseph O'Brien runs two newcomers, with Dylan Browne McMonagle taking the mount on That's No Joke. The Saxon Warrior colt is a half-brother to a couple of winners and is a grandson of Group 1 winner Listen.

Another likely winner here for Aidan O'Brien's juvenile squad, with WORLD TOUR tipped to uphold Down Royal form with Empty Wallet.

HELIOGABALUS is still relatively unexposed and may be able to strike now after a good run at Limerick last time. The Holy Roman Emperor gelding chased home Martinelli then and is just a pound higher. He has a nice draw. The Bog Bank is something of a standing dish around here, having won four times at the track. Her highest career winning mark is 61, though. Daonethatgotaway was in fine form when last seen in action on the all-weather at Dundalk and is another that has to be on the shortlist.

If maintaining the progress shown when second at Limerick last time HELIOGABALUS has bright prospects of a breakthrough win

12/1(+14%) | (5) Petersburg 12/1, Slowly away well beaten in a maiden over 6f at Cork only start; could improve but hard to recommend No impact on debut after missing the break at Cork over 6f (good), may need more time. |

80/1(+36%) | (4) Melody Bells 80/1, No worthwhile form; has beaten only 3 home in 4 runs so far; all to do Huge odds and well-beaten all four starts, blinkers tried latest discarded, hard to fancy. |

Not the strongest maiden and if TURNERS CROSS can run anywhere near his mark of 78, he would take a bit of beating. The No Nay Never gelding produced a couple of really good runner-up efforts last term but hasn't shown that level in two outings this year. This is an easier task now, though. Viamonte has been knocking on the door and ran a solid race in handicap company last time. He should play a big role here. Tino Pai has a bit to find on official ratings, but ran well in handicap company last time and may be able to bag some prize money.

The 4yo VIAMONTE is rated 70 but he's been in better form than Turners Cross this term and he could be the answer

10th (3) (40/1 -21%)Dandys Derriere |
40/1(-21%) | (3) Dandys Derriere 40/1, Below par well beaten in a handicap over 6f at Dundalk latest; generally out of form; off a short-break; lot to find No win since December 2023, finished last on debut for this yard in April, best watched. |

MY GIRL SIOUX has been a model of consistency and can land an ordinary-looking contest. The Sioux Nation mare has only won once from 51 outings, but rarely runs a bad race and was a solid fourth again last time at Naas. Whatswrongnow was only half a length behind the selection latest and could run a big race on the same terms. Several others ran in that same Naas contest. Lismacbryan Hill, who was eighth, has run well here previously and is another to consider.

HERO OF THE HOUR has been out of form recently but he's 15lb lower than when beaten 1.75l over C&D last August and he likes it here.

9th (3) (100/1 +20%)Feel The Burn |
100/1(+20%) | (3) Feel The Burn 100/1, Well beaten in a maiden over 10f at Down Royal only start where trailed home last; all to do Slow away and tailed off on debut, tongue tie is discarded, hard to make a case for. |

JUNIPER SLING ran a nice race when third on debut and looks like the form choice. The Sea The Stars filly was only beaten a length behind Kalixa at Naas back in late-April and is entitled to improve from that. She was a length and three quarters in front of the fourth-placed It's A Heartbeat then and that filly went on to score at the Curragh. Jannah Star was runner-up to It's A Heartbeat last time so has a bit to find on a line through that rival. Market moves for the Ballydoyle newcomer Gifted would be significant. The Wootton Bassett filly is a half-sister to Listed winner Espionage.

Jannah Star may have to give best to JUNIPER SLING who should have her measure on a line through It's A Heartbeat

TASSAROLO won well over hurdles last time and should be up to scoring back on the Flat off this kind of mark. The Farrh gelding was a bargain buy out of Godolphin and is still relatively unexposed. He actually ran well on his most recent Flat outing, finishing fifth at Dundalk last December. The lowly-rated Celtic Druid ran well when third at Leopardstown last time and a similar effort would see him in the mix. Eamon Delany loves to have a winner here and joint top-weight Lohengrin also has to be on the shortlist, following a solid run to finish third at Limerick.

Recent maiden hurdle winner TASSAROLO reverts to the Flat with a solid chance. Maxwell Smart can feature as pick of a stable trio
Ths is the racecard key.
