6/1(-20%) | (3) King Sharja 6/1, In good form and landed a handicap by a head off 58 at Southwell last time; up 3lb here, but should be competitive Two-time turf winner who scored at Southwell last time and has gone back up only 3lb. |

11/1(-10%) | (5) Berkshire Phantom 11/1, Below par beaten 4l off 62 over 8f at Doncaster last time and similar previous start on turf; possibly better form on AW; tongue-tie first time; down in trip On a reduced mark and has run some fair races this year, but he has a regressive profile. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (7) (16/1 -14%)Sunny Orange |
16/1(-14%) | (7) Sunny Orange 16/1, Made too much use of beaten 8 1/2l in a handicap over 8f at Thirsk last time out back in August and form had tailed off before that; top course trainer; down in trip; may need run Modest strike-rate but has run well over C&D and reappears with stable in good form. |

13th (6) (8/1 -60%)Miss Willows |
8/1(-60%) | (6) Miss Willows 8/1, Came clear in front when landing a handicap by 5l off 49 here last time; may have idled a bit then and could be better than that; major player, but has never run well on fast ground Easily made all over C&D on return; inconsistent but strong claims with repeat of the form. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Tim Easterby has a couple in here, including 2023 winner Obee Jo, who races off 2lb lower and cannot be discounted with four victories at the track. MISS WILLOWS strolled home unchallenged after making all over C&D last month, though, and similar tactics could see her follow up, despite a 10lb rise. Coconut Bay is another to consider from lower in the weights.

Miss Willows bolted up over C&D on her reappearance but is inconsistent. Preference is for recent AW winner KING SHARJA.

16/1(-167%) | (10) Invincible Ruby 16/1, Green and only hands and heels on promising 4l fourth in a novice here first-time out; open to marked improvement and can be in the mix Perhaps flattered, but recent debut run over C&D was pretty promising; not ruled out. |

125/1(-89%) | (6) Wicklow Way 125/1, Missed break and well beaten in a novice over 8f at Wetherby on poor debut; back in trip, but all to do 66-1 when well beaten on debut at Wetherby (1m, good to firm) a fortnight ago. |

400/1(-300%) | (4) Passchendaele 400/1, Well beaten both starts and down the field in a novice over 6f at Doncaster most recent of those finishing last of 13; all to prove Made debut last month; down the field at big odds on both starts. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

SURPRISED has to give weight to all of her rivals as the only previous winner in the field, but she scored at Beverley with something in hand and the daughter of Ulysses is entitled to do even better as a three-year-old. Invincible Ruby didn't fare too badly on debut here and, with improvement, she can go well, although Georgecandoit may be the bigger danger after a solid Newcastle third on his return when he pulled too hard before weakening late on.

The filly SURPRISED is the sole previous winner and she can defy a penalty, having scored in good style at Beverley last September.

17/2(-31%) | (2) Gastronomy 17/2, Probably needed race 5l third in a handicap over 1m6f at Redcar on reappearance; below par final start of 2024 as well, but looks on a good mark if recapturing previous solid form Won off this mark at Redcar last July; could show benefit of recent reappearance outing. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (11/4 +31%)Cascade Hall |
11/4(+31%) | (3) Cascade Hall 11/4, Suited by step-up in trip when beaten a head off 65 over 1m7f at Ayr last time; unproven on fast ground, but lightly raced and arguably still unexposed Head second of four to Marbuzet at Ayr on second handicap start; one to consider. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

9th (9) (40/1 -300%)Red Force One |
40/1(-300%) | (9) Red Force One 40/1, Probably needed race down the field in a handicap over 11f at Southwell on reappearance, but in poor form at the end of 2024; bit to prove now Hat-trick last June but struggled on final two runs last year and same story on comeback. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

Myboymax has won here twice, once over this distance, and he can go well, with his mark slipping down 1lb since a last-of-nine at Newcastle, where a visor clearly failed to bring any improvement. CASCADE HALL is 1lb better off with Marbuzet after going under by a head at Ayr over slightly shorter and he may gain his revenge to finally get off the mark on his eighth start, with the likelihood he has a little bit more to offer.

Last year's second MARBUZET won at Ayr recently and can follow up. Runner-up Cascade Hall could again pose the main threat.

1st (2) (4/1 +0%)Tees Aggregates |
4/1(+0%) | (2) Tees Aggregates 4/1, Weak in the market and probably made too much use of when beaten 6l in a handicap here last time; had run much better over C&D previous start and based in that should figure 5f win as a 2yo; near miss over C&D on his return but took a backward step here last month. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (5) (6/1 -9%)Indy's Angel |
6/1(-9%) | (5) Indy's Angel 6/1, Probably needed race beaten 3 1/4l off 61 here last time, but also ran poorly final start of 2024; looks on a very fair mark based on nursery form and far from out off it Wide-margin AW win (6f) as a 2yo; outpaced over C&D on return but plugged on late for 4th. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (3) (11/4 +31%)Lunar Force |
11/4(+31%) | (3) Lunar Force 11/4, Got no run at all when beaten 3 1/4l off 66 at Beverley last time and probably would have run to form without traffic issues; top course trainer; can contend off fair mark 0-7 but she would have finished closer on her reappearance granted a clear run; chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (11/2 +0%)Jeany May |
11/2(+0%) | (4) Jeany May 11/2, Raced freely beaten 3 1/4l off 66 at Beverley last time, in better form prior when under a length 4th off 66 here on penultimate start; can contend in very tight race Two fair runs this year but she has finished behind reopposing rivals on each occasion. |
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

BRAZILIAN BELLE displayed plenty of promise when a close fourth on her seasonal debut at Doncaster last month and the unexposed filly could be hard to stop with the benefit of that outing behind her. Indy's Angel filled the same position on her return over C&D and could prove to be the main threat to the selection, ahead of Tees Aggregates.

Having shaped nicely on last week's return to action LUNAR FORCE is fancied to get off the mark. Brazilian Belle is feared most.

16/1(-45%) | (9) Mrs Bagerran 16/1, Beaten 4 1/4l in a handicap at Wolverhampton last time and generally out of form; returning from a short-break Returns from a break on a handy mark and she has some good C&D form; a possible. |

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

WITHOUT FLAW was only denied by a head when second on her return at Redcar recently and Tina Jackson's filly is hard to oppose on the back of that performance, despite a 2lb rise. Latin Five failed to fire behind the selection, but is a player based on his previous third over C&D. Others to note are Jamie's Choice, Woohoo and Azucena.

Having been beaten just a head on her recent reappearance at Redcar, WITHOUT FLAW is taken to go one better. Stroxx is feared.

50/1(-79%) | (12) Tiberio Force 50/1, Probably needed race beaten 8 1/4l in a handicap over 8f at Pontefract last time, but had been in terrible form at the end of 2024; impossible to fancy Made the frame in 2 classified races last August but well beaten in 3 handicaps since. |

Spring Chorus scored easily at Beverley on her first outing for Michael Herrington's yard. She will likely feature again, despite a 5lb penalty, but slight preference is for PENELOPE'S SISTER. Jim Goldie's mare returned to the fray with a solid third over 1m2f at Ayr and this extra distance will see her in an even better light having scored over 1m3f last summer. Sassy Glory may prove best of the rest.

This is all about SPRING CHORUS (nap), who bolted up on her stable debut at Beverley and should be tough to beat under a 5lb penalty.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

ONE MORE DREAM has been in fine form on the turf of late. A winner at Pontefract last month, he scored a shade cosily at Doncaster most recently and remains favourably treated compared to his best form on the all-weather. Dream Deal made an encouraging debut for Tim Easterby's yard when runner-up over C&D and he could launch a serious challenge. Patontheback might prove the pick of the remainder.

Several with strong C&D records but DREAM DEAL shaped well here on his yard debut and he can find some more on his second run back.
Ths is the racecard key.
