12:10 Cheltenham (Class 2) 16f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

ONE HORSE TOWN has improved plenty since going hurdling and extended his unbeaten NH record to four here last month. Connections have kept it simple by letting him make the running on his last couple of starts and similar tactics are likely to be in place once again. Minella Study did well to recover from a mistake to land the Wensleydale against a well-regarded type, but this is undoubtedly tougher. Macshadow Des Crai finished fourth in an AQPS race at Vichy behind Macktoad, who was impressive at Sandown last week, and is entitled to respect along with Arnolphe.

Having made it 4-4 over hurdles with a Grade 2 win here last month, ONE HORSE TOWN can maintain his unbeaten record over jumps.

12:40 Cheltenham (Class 3) 25f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

THE JUKEBOX KID made a successful chasing bow when getting the better of First Confession (third) at Carlisle last month. Despite a 9lb rise from the handicapper, there is every chance a step up in trip could unlock further improvement from Ben Pauling's charge. First Confession has since finished third again at Kempton and softer conditions on this occasion appear likely to aid his cause. Zertakt and As The Fella Says are others to consider.

Topweight THE JUKEBOX KID created an excellent impression on his chase debut at Carlisle last month and he can make it 2-2 over fences.

13:15 Cheltenham (Class 3) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 3 race.

She Is For Me Boys built on her novice hurdle victories at the start of the current season when switched to chasing at Kempton last month. The six-year-old remains on a fair mark after going up 7lb, but THEONEWEDREAMOF is preferred. Runner-up on her first start for Dan Skelton at Chepstow, she went one better when tackling 3m at Exeter and the drop back in trip on a stiff track is likely to play to her strengths. Realta Liath, Kalista Love and It's Easy appeal most of the remainder.

The experienced THEONEWEDREAMOF has hit new heights for her new stable and scored in taking style last time. Ruby Island is next.

13:50 Cheltenham (Class 1) 20f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Jagwar has improved no less than 30lb since being switched to fences, winning four of his five starts, with his best performance coming when victorious in the Plate at the Festival. He is sure to have his supporters but the vote goes to HOE JOLY SMOKE, who is taken to reverse form with Vincenzo from the Paddy Power Gold Cup here last month. Dan Skelton's charge finished just over two lengths behind the runner-up on that occasion but is 2lb better off and, with Harry Skelton back in the plate, he is the one to side with.

The impressive novice campaign of JAGWAR (nap) culminated in a win at the Festival here in March and he can make a winning comeback.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

Despite taking a keen hold, David's Well made the perfect return to action to produce a career best at Haydock last month and he needs to be taken seriously with Harry Cobden booked. Two-time Cheltenham winner Triple Trade remains on a workable mark and is noted, but his stablemate JPR ONE might be the one. Joe Tizzard's eight-year-old ran a fine race in first-time cheekpieces to finish third at Ascot and the assessor might have been kind to only put him up 2lb.

The novice COUNTRY MILE was looming large until a bad mistake two out here in October and is taken to make amends today.

15:00 Cheltenham (Class 1) 23f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

Point-to-point winner They Call Me Hugo travelled strongly to make a successful debut under Rules at Ffos Las and could have any amount of improvement to come, especially now stepping up in trip. However, it's hard to oppose CONMAN JOHN, who is two from two over timber and gave a beating to Kasino Des Mottes (fifth) at this venue in October. That earned him an official rating of 135 and if he runs to that level, he will prove hard to beat. Reckless Spending is expected to build on his third at Ascot and isn't ruled out.

While CONMAN JOHN does not have a monopoly on potential, he made much the strongest impression with his 3m win here in October.

JUBILEE ALPHA was all over Sweet Caryline when making a shuddering mistake at the second-last at Wincanton last month. With a clearer round on this occasion, Paul Nicholls' C&D winner is expected to turn the tables and get her head back in front. Siog Geal has plenty of ability and produced a good effort when third at Carlisle on her return, so it would be no surprise to see her feature. Pretending is another to keep an eye on.

Fergal O'Brien's SIOG GEAL can battle her way to the win ahead of Jubilee Alpha. Lagoon Nebula could be a surprise package.
