13:53 Chepstow (Class 5) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

CASTRILLO failed to reward favourite backers when fourth on debut over 7f at Doncaster last month but that was still a promising effort. With the benefit of that experience, Archie Watson's colt could be hard to beat. Gazal Almarmoom is related to plenty of winners and has to be noted on his racecourse bow, while similar comments apply to Captain Cairney.

These conditions should suit CASTRILLO better than on his debut and he gets the vote, although the newcomers need a market check.

14:28 Chepstow (Class 6) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Doilookokay (first) and Redditizio (second) were only separated by a head when dominating a similar event at Chelmsford earlier in the month. Both are likely to go well again, but a chance can be taken on LOOKS LIKELY. Hugo Palmer's filly has struggled in competitive maidens in three starts to date but an opening mark of 54 should be workable in this company.

Redditizio and Doilookokay are closely matched on latest running, and the less-exposed RESDEV KISSES is preferred.

15:03 Chepstow (Class 2) 8f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 2 race.

AJRAD arrives here on the back of two impressive C&D victories and even a 7lb rise for the latest of those wins may not be enough to stop him from making it a hat-trick. That said, Soi Dao scored over 7f here 11 days ago and is an obvious threat to the selection. Diddy Man is another with strong form claims, while Onslow Gardens edges out Johnjay and Port Noir to be best of the rest.

A fiercely competitive, valuable handicap can go to JOHNJAY (nap), who should get this run to suit. Ajrad rates the main danger.

15:38 Chepstow (Class 5) 5f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 5 race.

STAR OF MALI has the strongest form by some distance and looks to have been presented with a straightforward task. James Tate's charge failed to see out the 6f at Newbury last time, but had shown plenty of ability in a couple of outings over today's minimum trip before that, including a length defeat at Leicester last time. Scent Of May could prove pick of the opposition, ahead of the more exposed Off The Bench.

This should be straightforward for STAR OF MALI, who has any amount in hand. Love You Millions can chase him home.

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

Grace Harris trained last year's winner and OVER SPICED makes most appeal of her three representatives. The consistent three-year-old made another bold bid when third over C&D last week and she could well find a bit more improvement with cheekpieces applied for the first time. Stablemate Connie's Rose also has a shout off her current mark, while Some Nightmare scored here back in May and a recent placed effort suggests he could have a say in proceedings.

Connie's Rose (second choice) and Over Spiced look sure to go well but this can set up for SOME NIGHTMARE.

16:48 Chepstow (Class 6) 7f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

KING OF THE DANCE has been such a model of consistency this campaign and could form a good partnership with in-form apprentice Taryn Langley. The Bernard Llewellyn-trained six-year-old struck over C&D last month and although beaten twice subsequently, he has lost little in defeat. He is fancied to improve past Gilt Edge, who was a couple of places ahead of him in second last time, while Shark Two One has also been giving everything in his races and must be considered too.

This can go to GILT EDGE, who reappeared with a bold bid over C&D 11 days ago and is only 1lb higher than for that clear second.

17:23 Chepstow (Class 6) 6f Race Class Flow

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 6 race.

PUNCHBOWL FLYER rolled back the years to end a lengthy drought under Jay Mackay over C&D and that didn't come out of the blue because although he was last of five at Doncaster prior, he was an honourable second over track and trip on his return. Consistency hasn't always been his strong point but he is preferred to Pure Artistry, who found only one too good when attempting to supplement a Windsor triumph on that same card here recently. Mighty Gurkha and Silent Flame weren't all that far behind the selection last time so merit respect.

Pure Artistry ran well here last time but WAISTCOAT now drops back in grade following a solid effort in a 0-80 last time.
