25/1(+11%) | (9) Rockview Roman 25/1, Made too much use of down the field in a handicap hurdle at Wexford most recent; consistent over hurdles last summer; may just need this Three-time Flat winner; yet to shine over hurdles; hard to make a strong case for him. |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (7) (11/2 +15%)The Mass Path |
11/2(+15%) | (7) The Mass Path 11/2, Below par comfortably held in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Limerick last time; generally out of form; visor first time; drops in grade but looks stable second string Placed in three of his 15 starts over hurdles; visored; market will reveal expectations. |

Cafe Con Leche warrants respect with a rating of 120, although he didn't fire at all when out the back of a handicap hurdle in Killarney on Monday. His stablemate THE MASS PATH has a chance in the first-time visor. He ran a fair race in sixth in a handicap hurdle at Limerick last month and the horse well behind him in seventh came out and won nicely in Bellewstown. Trip and ground should be ideal for Circus Act and she is a significant threat based on her Down Royal success in April. British raider Thank You Blue has to defy top weight, but has three hurdle victories in the book and, if strong in the market, his prospects would be bright.

It might pay to side with British challenger THANK YOU BLUE, Jennie Candlish's first ever runner at the track

10/11(+17%) | (9) Trasna Na Pairce 10/11, 3l third in a maiden hurdle over 2m3f at Kilbeggan most recent run; that good form; better ground should suit; entitled to be thereabouts Recent Kilbeggan third over this trip makes him a big player. |

5th (3) (150/1 -20%)Bright Lad |
150/1(-20%) | (3) Bright Lad 150/1, Did not get a clear run down the field in a maiden hurdle at Listowel most recent; generally out of form; absent for very lengthy period; all to do Modest form in bumpers/maidens at huge odds; no appeal on first run since September 2023. |

It was a much better race than this that KEEP KOOL COKO finished sixth in at the Punchestown Festival. He has two runner-up berths in maiden hurdles to call upon and ought to be a major contender. Trasna Na Pairce showed good improvement when third over a similar trip at Kilbeggan last month and there could be more to come from him. He also showed ability between the flags and when second in a bumper at Fairyhouse. Polemon has the ability to get involved too.

A career-best sixth, behind five previous winners at Punchestown last month puts KEEP KOOL COKO (nap) in the driving seat here

125/1(-279%) | (5) Workforadime 125/1, Below par comfortably held in a maiden hurdle over 2m7f at Thurles last time; generally out of form; down in trip; often finds little for pressure; opposed Never a factor in 5 starts late last year; first start for new yard after leaving Byrnes. |

Stepping up in trip may help OAKLEY register a first NH win. His sole success in his native Germany came on the Flat, over just short of two miles, while he also scored over an extended 10 furlongs at Dundalk after. Jumping errors have plagued his career over flights to date, but there is no question that he is a very well-handicapped horse in this discipline. Perhaps with an additional three furlongs to travel here, the seven-year-old can open his account. Shock Listowel maiden hurdle winner Kingdom Calling showed a bit more when third at Limerick last time and he can go close. Silas Marner is another to consider.

Many with solid claims but a chance is taken on KINGDOM CALLING to take another step forward upped in trip from a falling mark

25/1(-25%) | (1) Answering 25/1, Fell in a beginners chase chase over 2m here latest when beaten; failed to take to chasing; not proven trip; fair mark on maiden hurdle form; squeak if stamina holds up In poor form over fences; return to hurdling needs to spark a revival; ground a concern. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (5) (66/1 -32%)Story Rory |
66/1(-32%) | (5) Story Rory 66/1, Looked regressive down the field in a handicap hurdle at Cork most recent; generally out of form; cheekpieces first time; needs to prove ability remains after lay off Shown nothing in six runs since handicap hurdle success at Tramore (2m6f) in 2023. |

Recent Kilbeggan runner-up ORDER OF THE DANCE can strike for local trainer Edward O'Grady. Making his first start in handicap company, the five-year-old shaped with plenty of promise when staying on to take minor honours. If anything, the son of Order Of St George should be even better suited to this stiffer track with its uphill finish. Wexford winner Duke Otto also holds every chance for the Pat Flynn stable, while Walk Away Harry will need to jump better but has claims.

Order Of The Dance will relish the step up in trip but COLLEEN DANU can bounce back from her Cork midfield finish on this ground

125/1(-213%) | (7) Kick On Nellie 125/1, Well beaten in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Limerick only start; top jockey takes over but all to do Decent staying pedigree but jumped abysmally when tailed off on debut at Limerick. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (11) (150/1 -200%)Vangaway |
150/1(-200%) | (11) Vangaway 150/1, Ocovango filly; half-sister to Ocean Drifter, useful at 20f; stable not known for first time out winners; best watched Yard had 20-1 maiden hurdle winner at Down Royal this month; champion conditional booked. |

With an official rating of 116, BELLE THE TIGRESS is the standout name. A solid fifth on debut at Navan in November, with Keilah behind, she then finished an eyecatching third of 20 at Naas. A beaten favourite when last seen at Gowran, she probably wasn't in love with the testing ground and should be able to redeem herself now. A faller when still very much in contention on her last two starts, Russellsbelle is an obvious danger. Already twice placed over flights, the eight-year-old certainly wouldn't be winning out of turn. With two sound efforts to her name, Rhythm Of Life is of definite interest, while others for the shortlist are hurdling debutants Arctic Flame and dual Flat winner Moonlit Mist.

The promise of quicker ground can see BELLE THE TIGRESS shed her maiden tag at the fourth time of asking

17/2(-55%) | (1) Glenashling 17/2, Ran to form comfortably held in a handicap hurdle at Ballinrobe last time; maiden winner prior; bit to find off stiff looking mark Excuses on recent handicap debut; remains capable of better and drops in class here. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (4) (33/1 +18%)Mountain Port |
33/1(+18%) | (4) Mountain Port 33/1, Probably needed race down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m at Punchestown most recent; significant jockey booking; yet to build on debut victory; plenty to prove Shock Tramore maiden winner has struggled so far in handicaps. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (5) (5/1 +38%)Kimy |
5/1(+38%) | (5) Kimy 5/1, Unseated in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Punchestown latest; top course trainer; down in trip; inconsistent; return to better ground a plus; outside chance in open race Disappointing since big run at DRF; needs to bounce back. |

It might be worth siding with MISS GHERKIN in this open contest. A dual winner when in the care of Peter Croke, the six-year-old starts off now for Eoin Griffin. Failing to make a significant impact on her most recent starts at Naas, she might appreciate a return to quicker ground and it will be disappointing if she's not involved at the business end. Successful on the level at Ballinrobe last Friday, Expound is sure to have plenty of supporters. Returning to flights for the first time since October, he is already a Clonmel winner. Although very disappointing since finishing second at the Dublin Racing Festival in February, Kimy still warrants respect, while top-weight Glenashling and course winner Ballycashin are others for the shortlist.

A chance is taken on the lightly weighted FASCINATING SHADOW, who ran well on unsuitably soft ground on his recent comeback

10/3(+5%) | (8) Dancing Dame 10/3, Probably outclassed well beaten in Hurricane Lane Mares Flat Race (Listed) over 2m at Navan latest; usually consistent; has experience edge; potential threat Form pick on three placed efforts; handles good ground, lack of a recent run a negative. |

7th (6) (8/1 +68%)Mystical Madness |
8/1(+68%) | (6) Mystical Madness 8/1, Pulled up in a maiden over 3m at Lingstown latest; back in trip; off a short-break; hard to fancy on rules debut Pulled up for Thomas Byrne in Lingstown point' in March; best watched on rules debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (4) (28/1 -133%)Townscupsixtythree |
28/1(-133%) | (4) Townscupsixtythree 28/1, Valirann gelding; half-brother to Clearly Capable, useful at 21f; yard quiet just now; watching brief advised 7yo an unlikely one to make an immediate impact on belated debut. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (3) (6/1 -71%)Mustang Mozzie |
6/1(-71%) | (3) Mustang Mozzie 6/1, Had benefited for debut experience well beaten in a 4yo bumper over 2m at Leopardstown latest; that form franked at Graded leve; returning from a break; should figure Couple of fair efforts in bumpers last term and bred to appreciate decent ground. |

From the family of three-time Grade 1 winner Liss A Paoraigh, BALLYREDINKINGSTON looks the one to beat. Although without a win in five point-to-point starts, the Liz Lalor-trained grey was a solid fourth on his racecourse debut here in March. The subject of good market support at Killarney on Monday, he finished third there and will be well fancied to go a few places better now. Already placed three times, Dancing Dame is an obvious danger. While she failed to make an impact in a Listed contest at Navan in November, the Tim Doyle-trained six-year-old should appreciate this significant drop in class. Mustang Mozzie has two satisfactory efforts to his name and is of definite interest, while Carsons Dreamboat warrants respect, with Harry Swan aboard this long-absent Gordon Elliott-trained mare.

DANCING DAME looks the pick on her placed form in recent years. Although she lacks a recent run, she does go on this ground
Ths is the racecard key.
