1st (3) (9/2 -13%)Its All Peachy |
9/2(-13%) | (3) Its All Peachy 9/2, Short of room a couple of times and unlucky not to finish closer when beaten 7l in a Curragh handicap last time. Off a short break. Effective 8-10f, handles heavy and good ground. Worth marking up latest run. Best of nine runs was 1.25l second off 74; needs to improve but not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (10) (13/8 +35%)Tswalu |
13/8(+35%) | (10) Tswalu 13/8, Ran to form when 2 1/4l third in a 12f maiden at Bellewstown most recent. Trainer in form, effective 10-12f on sound ground. Consistent but not the most resolute. Six-placed finishes from seven starts but beaten favourite six times; expensive to follow. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (11) (3/1 +45%)Walk The Highline |
3/1(+45%) | (11) Walk The Highline 3/1, Ran to form when 5l third in a maiden at Cork most recent. Effective at 10f, acts on soft and good ground. Can win a maiden. 4.25l behind Tswalu at Cork last time when third means she has improvement to find. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (10/1 +29%)Maarisha |
10/1(+29%) | (5) Maarisha 10/1, A bit below form on handicap debut when beaten 6l over 9f at Leopardstown last time. Usually consistent, acts with cut, effective 8-9f but doesn't quite stay 11f. Needs to bounce back. Best of six runs was third in maiden last month; a repeat of that puts her thereabouts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (1) (22/1 +12%)A Pearl Starling |
22/1(+12%) | (1) A Pearl Starling 22/1, Hampered and showed promise when beaten 8l in a maiden over 12f at Roscommon on debut. Should improve for the experience with a clear run. 7.75l behind winner on debut last month at 33-1; others more likely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (7/1 -75%)Etawa |
7/1(-75%) | (2) Etawa 7/1, Stable has won 2 of the last 4 runnings. Ran to form when fourth beaten 6 1/4l in a maiden at The Curragh latest. Visor first time, top course jockey booked, effective at 10f, capable of better but looks quirky. Decent form in first two runs; poor at Gowran but better at Curragh last time; big player. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (7) (7/1 +7%)Metamorphic |
7/1(+7%) | (7) Metamorphic 7/1, Yard won this last year. Short of room on a couple of occasions and comfortably held over 9f at The Curragh last time. Usually consistent, tongue-tie first time, effective 9-12f on good ground. In good form and worth marking up latest. Slowly away on debut and scoped dirty on second start; no luck in running last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (150/1 +0%)Shakita |
150/1(+0%) | (9) Shakita 150/1, Continued in poor form when down the field over 8f at Leopardstown latest. From a top course trainer but yet to show anything, beating only two home in a few starts. Beaten few rivals in three maiden starts; impossible to fancy based on that. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (8) (150/1 -50%)Mozzetta |
150/1(-50%) | (8) Mozzetta 150/1, Green and never in the race on poor debut, well beaten over 8f at Naas only start. Likely to need much further than 1m. Tailed off on debut at Naas when 200-1; passed over. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (4) (50/1 -25%)Lo Tengo Claro |
50/1(-25%) | (4) Lo Tengo Claro 50/1, Sands Of Mali filly; half-sister to Peak Princess, smart at 7f. Dam fair at 8f; yard's horses tend to need more time. Half-sister to two winners; best watched on debut. |

TSWALU has been frustrating, but may be worth another chance. Joseph O'Brien's charge has now run up a sequence of six placed efforts and may not have quite seen out the extended mile and a half at Bellewstown. Her previous run over a bit further than 1m2f at Cork was a solid effort and a reproduction of that may be enough. Etawa hasn't really progressed from a promising debut. She's tried in a visor now, having been in blinkers last time, and has shown enough to be a big player in this. Walk The Highline has a few lengths to find with the selection from Cork, but is another who has to be considered.

Tswalu sets the standard with a mark of 83 but she is expensive to follow, and a chance is taken on ETAWA getting the best of her

1st (12) (9/4 +63%)So Golden |
9/4(+63%) | (12) So Golden 9/4, Ran to form, suited by a positive ride at a sharp track, when 7 1/2l third in an auction race over 12f at Tramore last time; effective at 12f and previously beaten only by a useful rival on debut; can win a maiden. Good debut when 1l behind smart horse; a bit below that last time; interesting. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (2) (15/2 -88%)Coul Dreamer |
15/2(-88%) | (2) Coul Dreamer 15/2, Yard won this last year; keen, ran to form, but made too much use of when fourth beaten 13l in the Bar One Racing Juvenile Hurdle (Grade 3) over 2m1f at Fairyhouse latest; steadily progressive and a value selection on form. Maiden hurdle winner previously showed decent form in Flat maidens; claims if ready enough. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (3) (11/1 -230%)Eternal Echo |
11/1(-230%) | (3) Eternal Echo 11/1, Improved on bumper form with a cosy victory when winning a maiden hurdle at Cork over 2m by 4 1/2l last time; tongue-tie first time and returning from a break; effective at 2m on soft, a useful jumper who can make an impact on the flat. Bumper winner and hurdles winner last time; promising sort who could go close. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (11) (22/1 -144%)Qamari |
22/1(-144%) | (11) Qamari 22/1, Ran to form when 3 1/4l third in a maiden over 11f at Dundalk last time; off a short break; consistent in a short career at 8-10f on the all-weather. Has shown ability in her three Flat starts and could get involved if building on them. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (7) (25/1 -14%)Space Warrior |
25/1(-14%) | (7) Space Warrior 25/1, Finished down the field below form in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Galway most recently; generally out of form though from a top course trainer; looks stiffly handicapped. Maiden hurdle winner last year; struggled since and not much encouragement in recent runs. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (9/4 +50%)Rock Of Ireland |
9/4(+50%) | (6) Rock Of Ireland 9/4, Made too much use of when beaten 7l in a handicap over 1m5f at Tipperary last time; effective between 12f and 14f on good and soft; still a maiden but on a fair mark. 12-race maiden but not beaten far recently; has run well at this trip as a 3yo. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (8) (11/2 -83%)Young Churchill |
11/2(-83%) | (8) Young Churchill 11/2, Below form on flat return when fourth beaten 10l in a maiden over 1m5f at Ballinrobe last time; off a short break; effective from 10f to 12f on good ground on the flat and has more to come in hurdle handicaps. Hurdles winner on penultimate; not at best last time back on level; can do better. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (10) (500/1 -233%)Native Flag |
500/1(-233%) | (10) Native Flag 500/1, Below debut form when down the field dropped in trip in a claimer over 7f at Dundalk last time; hood first time; effective from 7f to 10f but looks poor so far. Well behind in two AW starts; would be a surprise winner. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (4) (150/1 -20%)Eye Contact |
150/1(-20%) | (4) Eye Contact 150/1, Well beaten in a maiden over 8f at Dundalk on only start; absent for a very lengthy period and faces a difficult challenge. 20l behind the winner on debut at Dundalk over 1m in December 2023; best watched for now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (9) (16/1 -14%)Atlantic City |
16/1(-14%) | (9) Atlantic City 16/1, Ran to form when 12l third in a maiden hurdle over 2m at Ballinrobe last time; returning from a break; effective at 2m, acts on heavy and good, consistent over hurdles but probably wants 12f on the flat. Showed some ability in two Flat starts and not bad over hurdles recently; not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (1) (66/1 -65%)Among The Pines |
66/1(-65%) | (1) Among The Pines 66/1, Below debut form when well beaten in an auction race over 8f at The Curragh last time; hood first time and returning from a short break; looks more suited to middle to long-distance handicaps. Big prices for two maiden starts and ran accordingly; hood added to tongue-tie; unlikely. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (5) (17/2 +83%)Goldinthevalleys |
17/2(+83%) | (5) Goldinthevalleys 17/2, Made mistakes and finished down the field on modest hurdle debut in a maiden hurdle over 2m1f at Galway most recently; effective at 2m over hurdles but may need more time on the flat. Poor on debut in bumper and returned from break in Galway maiden hurdle when well beaten. |

SO GOLDEN may prove the pick in a tricky contest. The Golden Horn filly ran a big race on her debut at Ballinrobe when losing out to classy jumper Buddy One. She didn't appear comfortable on the track in the closing stages at Tramore last time, but it was a solid effort to finish third to Kingstonian. There is still scope for improvement. Coul Dreamer showed some smart form over timber last season and was also placed a couple of times on the level in 2024. He's a potential danger. Eternal Echo is another winning hurdler who has to be respected now trying his hand on the Flat.

It was a highly encouraging debut by SO GOLDEN, and even though she was below that last time, he is selected to come out on top

4/1(+33%) | (1) Justenzia 4/1, Outpaced and probably unsuited by the drop in trip on stable debut, beaten 9 1/4l in an 8f handicap at The Curragh last time. Had been in good form before. Cheekpieces on first time. Effective 10-12f and well treated on best UK form. Second over 1m2f at Chepstow in May, cheekpieces on now after an inconclusive Curragh run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

17/2(+15%) | (14) Miss Americana 17/2, Given too much to do after being badly hampered early when down the field in a 9f handicap at Tipperary. Acts on good ground, effective at 10f. Still early in career and worth marking up latest effort significantly. Shaped with promise on h'cap debut; put a line through last run when hampered; chance. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

9/2(-13%) | (4) Curroy Lady 9/2, Benefited from a late pace collapse to score by 1/2l off 49 at Ballinrobe penultimate start. Ran to form but possibly outstayed when fifth, beaten 6l off 55 last time. Effective 10-13f, better dropping back. Suited by good ground and progressive. Scored on second h'cap start; couldn't follow up last time; dangerous back at this trip. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (3) (7/2 +53%)Amavasya |

Significant jockey booking. Effective 9-12f but may not stay further and maiden runs look flattered. Hard to identify her best trip and will need to improve in a first-time hood. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (9) (25/1 +24%)Deep Vein |
25/1(+24%) | (9) Deep Vein 25/1, Made too much use of when stepped up in trip, failing to get home when down the field in a 9f handicap at Gowran Park. Top course jockey booked. Best form at 7f on all-weather and still needs to prove effectiveness on turf. Has beaten very few rivals in three Dundalk maidens and two recent handicap starts. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (10) (17/2 -113%)Le Fleur Princess |

33/1(+18%) | (8) Rebel Lily 33/1, Disappointing on handicap debut, down the field in a 7f nursery at Gowran Park most recent. Cheekpieces first time. Returning from long layoff. Effective at 7f and suited by cut but yet to show much. Beaten around 20l in all starts, inc' handicap debut last time; cheekpieces on. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (13) (9/1 +10%)Gold Dublooms |
9/1(+10%) | (13) Gold Dublooms 9/1, Ran to form, just tiring late when beaten 9l in a 9f handicap at Gowran Park. Returning from a break. Effective 8-10f, acts on soft and good. In decent form. Good third on h'cap bow; disadvantaged by poor draw last time; can go well. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (11) (40/1 -43%)Bella Boyne |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (12) (66/1 -100%)Roudha |
66/1(-100%) | (12) Roudha 66/1, Continued poor form when dropped in trip and down the field in an 8f maiden at Roscommon. Blinkers first time. Has beaten only one rival home in three runs so far. Beat just one rival in three maiden starts; may do better in h'caps in first-time blinkers. |

CURROY LADY didn't appear to get home over further at Sligo last time and may be able to strike again now. The Ulysses filly won over a similar trip to this at Ballinrobe previously and there looks to be another race in her off a 5lb higher mark. Ms Olivia ran well when chasing home Jasmine Affanalis at Tipperary on her second handicap start and is a potential danger. Le Fleur Princess was half a length behind Ms Olivia last time and is now 3lb better off so has to come into calculations.

This trip is more suitable for CURROY LADY (nap). She won at around this distance and was disappointing over further last time

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (5) (33/1 -18%)Mr Rango |
33/1(-18%) | (5) Mr Rango 33/1, Ground may have been too quick when down the field in a handicap over 8f at The Curragh last time; generally out of form. Off a short break; best at 10f with plenty of cut; out of form in 2025. All three wins have been at 1m2f on soft or heavy, needs to show signs of a revival. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (6) (4/1 +38%)Zipster |

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (8) (14/1 -40%)No More Porter |
14/1(-40%) | (8) No More Porter 14/1, Below form when back up in trip, beaten 6 1/2l in a 9f handicap at Leopardstown last time. Effective 7-8f on good, all-weather and with cut, but does not stay further; not the force of old though fairly treated if reviving. All three wins in a 49-race career have been at the Curragh, looks held by Sinbad My Dad. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (5/1 -11%)Sinbad My Dad |
5/1(-11%) | (9) Sinbad My Dad 5/1, Improved back up in trip with a strong ride to get across from the draw, winning by 1 1/2l off 65 over 9f at Leopardstown penultimate start. Effective 8-10f, best at 9f; acts on good and with cut; inconsistent. Winner and fourth over 1m1f at Leopardstown on last two starts, should hold his own. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (12) (50/1 -25%)Tortola |
50/1(-25%) | (12) Tortola 50/1, Needed the run on handicap debut when down the field in an 8f handicap at Cork last time; usually consistent. Wears a tongue-tie for the first time; returning from a break. Effective 6-7f, sprint bred so may not stay further; must prove she has trained on. Weak form in maidens, last of 14 on handicap debut at Cork in May, tongue-tie fitted now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (16/1 -14%)Bellacanta |
16/1(-14%) | (7) Bellacanta 16/1, Outclassed when well beaten in the Group 3 Jannah Rose Stakes at Naas last time; usually consistent. Off a short break; effective at 10f; still early days and could bounce back down in class. Sights lowered considerably, appeals as a relatively unexposed filly in her first handicap. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (1) (17/2 -13%)Bill Silvers |
17/2(-13%) | (1) Bill Silvers 17/2, Ran to form when beaten 6l in a handicap over 8f at Galway last time; effective 8-19f, acts on good, suited by give; well treated on UK form but a losing run is a concern. Best run this term when second on good at Leopardstown, solid fifth on soft at Galway. |

IRON FIST didn't run too badly when mid-division at Galway and should appreciate a bit more ease in the ground. The New Bay gelding won a Killarney maiden in testing conditions in July and may have a bit more upside than some of his rivals here. Expound should appreciate going a bit further again. He is a consistent sort and Dylan O'Connor taking 7lb off his back should help. Sinbad My Dad ran a solid race when attempting to complete a Leopardstown double and is another for the shortlist.

Making her handicap debut now after a highly ambitious Group 3 bid at Naas, BELLACANTA gts a hopeful vote to add to a Navan maiden win

18/1(-112%) | (3) Lust 18/1, No excuse when well beaten in a 7f handicap at Roscommon latest. Generally out of form; cheekpieces applied for the first time. Effective 7-8f and enjoys cut; regressive profile. Naas Listed winner in 2022; regressive last year and poor stable debut last time. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (13) (50/1 -52%)Boomerang Bill |
50/1(-52%) | (13) Boomerang Bill 50/1, Poor return to the Flat, down the field in an 8f handicap at Bellewstown most recent. Exposed maiden who appears tripless on the Flat. Tailed off over timber on stable debut and has struggled on the Flat before and after. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (14) (9/1 +36%)Dazzling Spirit |
9/1(+36%) | (14) Dazzling Spirit 9/1, Won this race in 2022 and 2023. Never threatened when down the field in a classified race at Ayr most recent. Effective 8-10f but currently out of form. Last win came in 2023; respectable fifth in h'cap in July but tailed off at Ayr last month. |

WARAZAM has been placed in three of her last four races and has a stronger chance than most in this field. She is holding her form well and, crucially, will handle cut in the ground. Chou Chou is not without his quirks, but has the ability to be a player off a mark of 48. Shane Foley gets the leg-up for the first time and is a good booking for the four-year-old gelding. He made the breakthrough at Tipperary in July and has prospects of doubling his total. Lohengrin will be hard to beat after a plan came together on the beach at Laytown last week. He does have a welter burden of 10st 6lb to overcome, though.

The two who catch the eye here are Warazam and CHOU CHOU, with slight preference given to the latter after some good recent runs

Most effective at 2m and acts on soft and good. 0-14 on Flat; surprise winner on chase debut but tailed off last time behind rival he beat. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (2) (12/1 +14%)Jabbar |
12/1(+14%) | (2) Jabbar 12/1, Ran to form, possibly outstayed when stepped up in trip, finishing second beaten 11l in the Joe Cooney Memorial Hurdle over 3m1f at Kilbeggan last time. Good Flat record with six wins; went very close at Curragh in June; not ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (14) (22/1 +0%)Party Dress |
22/1(+0%) | (14) Party Dress 22/1, Scored by a short-head off 68 at Limerick in June. Outpaced and eased when ninth, beaten 70l off 73 last time, probably unsuited by the drop in trip. Effective from 10-17f on good and soft, and may now be best at staying distances. Surprise winner in June and good second last month; poor last time but respected. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (13) (12/1 -9%)Fad Eadrainn |
12/1(-9%) | (13) Fad Eadrainn 12/1, Ran to form, just tiring late when up in trip, finishing fourth beaten 14l in the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel Hurdle over 2m3f at Punchestown last time. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (11/1 -175%)Teed Up |
11/1(-175%) | (3) Teed Up 11/1, Scored by 1/2l off 78 at Galway two starts ago. Had too much to do on a quick reappearance, then improved again at his favoured venue when fourth, beaten 3 1/4l off 123 last time. Top jockey returns to ride. Got fifth Flat win at Galway with Shoda .5l behind; 9lb rise gives advantage to Shoda. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (1) (50/1 -52%)Shanroe |
50/1(-52%) | (1) Shanroe 50/1, Disappointing handicap return when finishing down the field over 1m5f at Ballinrobe most recently; generally out of form and back from a short break. Effective from 14-16f, a former Listed winner, but appears regressive since his layoff. Looking as though age is catching up with him in recent runs; needs a revival. |

TEED UP has been freshened up since his Galway exertions and appeals in a good race. He won a staying handicap on the Flat in Ballybrit before finishing a fair fourth in a handicap hurdle three days later. He's unlikely to be stopping at the end of this stamina test. Bottler'secret is a 137-rated hurdler having his second start for Aidan Melia and is actually two from three on the Flat, so he has to enter calculations. Royal Hollow wasn't a factor in two Galway contests, but she does have the capabilities for this assignment and shouldn't be underestimated. Jabbar, Shoda (first-time tongue-strap), Party Dress and the tough Happy Jacky add further spice to the mix.

Beaten 0.5l by Teed Up at Galway, SHODA now meets that rival 4lb better off and is selected to come out on top

5/1(-11%) | (6) Takarengo 5/1, Ran to form, possibly challenged a bit early when 5 1/4l third in a handicap over 2m2f at Bellewstown most recently. Usually held up, an inconsistent dual-purpose veteran suited by staying trips on the flat, but on a workable mark and in form. Hard to with but often placed, most recent runs good enough to suggest he could feature. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (9) (5/1 +58%)Art Of Silence |
5/1(+58%) | (9) Art Of Silence 5/1, Needed the run when finishing down the field in a handicap over 1m6f at Navan most recently. Generally out of form, a 2m hurdles winner, yet to show anything notable on the flat. Returned from a long absence with a recent Navan run, should be sharper now. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (10) (33/1 -288%)Movie King |
33/1(-288%) | (10) Movie King 33/1, Below form when back up in trip, well beaten in a handicap chase over 3m2f at Kilbeggan latest. On a good mark judged on old form but inconsistent. AW winner in 2022, scored over hurdles in 2023, ran well on his penultimate chase start. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (66/1 -65%)Zentopia |
66/1(-65%) | (12) Zentopia 66/1, Soon outpaced and outclassed, finishing down the field in the Conditions Race (Amateurs) over 1m5f at Listowel most recently. Tongue-tie applied for the first time. Usually held up, returning from a break, effective at 12f but looks very limited. Never in the first three in 18 outings; impossible to make a strong case for him. |

Wears a tongue-tie for the first time after a short break. Maiden who has not run on the Flat since 2023, ordinary form over hurdles this year. |

SEQUOIASPIRIT is a credit to connections and has the chance to ring up his seventh career victory. He's already a five-time winner on the Flat and has also been plying his trade to good effect over hurdles, with a fourth at the Galway Festival and a runner-up berth in Killarney last month. Weather Alert has been mostly out of form over flights, but reverts to the level off a very appealing mark. Takarengo, who was placed on his last two starts, is well in the hunt for more prize money, while The Mediator cannot be dismissed lightly.

If transferring his useful recent hurdles form to this sphere, SEQUOIASPIRIT has good prospects of defying top weight in this company

Has been running well over fences, second to fine veteran Lord Erskine on last Flat run. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (10) (10/1 -11%)Black Soul |
10/1(-11%) | (10) Black Soul 10/1, Failed to find much on his flat return when well beaten in a 2m handicap at Gowran Park last time. Returning from a break, effective over 12-16f, and retains proven ability over hurdles this year so could bounce back. Point and hurdles winner in the spring, well beaten in a Flat handicap at Gowran in May. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (33/1 -106%)Cafe Con Leche |
33/1(-106%) | (7) Cafe Con Leche 33/1, Outpaced and possibly feeling a busy schedule when down the field in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Listowel most recently. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (11/2 +66%)Spanish John |
11/2(+66%) | (9) Spanish John 11/2, Met trouble and lost position at a key stage, leaving too much to do, but still ran to form when appreciating the step back up in trip, finishing fourth, beaten 4 1/4l, in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Wexford last time. Effective from 2m to 2 1/2m and acts on any ground. Twice in the frame over hurdles in recent months, Flat win at Tipperary was over 1m4f. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (6) (5/1 -25%)Tassarolo |
5/1(-25%) | (6) Tassarolo 5/1, Scored by a neck off 59 over 11f at Killarney three starts back. Ran to form when fourth, beaten 4 1/4l off 65 last time. 9/1(-29%) | (3) Ehteyat 9/1, Ran to form when beaten 2l off 66 over 1m6f at Killarney last time. Effective over 14-16f and now down to a very attractive mark on UK form. Ought to go close if building on his latest couple of starts. Edging closer to a first Irish success on the evidence of runs at Galway and Killarney. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (11) (11/1 +45%)You Done Well |
11/1(+45%) | (11) You Done Well 11/1, Made too much use of and was well beaten in a 2m4f handicap hurdle at Wexford last time. Hurdles winner has yet to show much on flat. Won over hurdles at Limerick in May, Flat form is unconvincing, up against it. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (12) (66/1 -32%)Talking Tough |
66/1(-32%) | (12) Talking Tough 66/1, Flattered when well beaten in the Conditions Race (Amateurs) over 1m5f at Listowel last time. Returning from a break, effective at 12f and suited by cut, but appears regressive. A record of only two wins from 73 races put his chance in a harsh perspective. |

DARK NOTE could snap a frustrating sequence of three runner-up spots in a row. His second in a much higher grade at Killarney in July has been franked by the winner, and slower ground holds no fears for him. He knows where the winning post is with four successes across all codes. Migdam was a comfortable winner of a Tramore maiden hurdle last month and ought to be a factor off a mark of 65 here. Ehteyat kept on for third over an extended 1m6f in Killarney and is one for the shortlist over this trip, while No Big Deal and Make Good are others pitching for a cheque.

A breakthrough win is on the card for NO BIG DEAL, placed over hurdles since a lively run on the Flat at Leopardstown
Ths is the racecard key.

Other notable horse racing events in the UK include the Derby, held at Epsom Downs Racecourse in Surrey, and the Royal Ascot, held at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire.
Horse racing in the UK is regulated by the British Horseracing Authority (BHA), which sets rules and standards for the industry. It is responsible for the welfare of racehorses and the safety of jockeys and trainers, as well as ensuring fair and transparent racing practices.
In addition to its economic and cultural importance, horse racing in the UK also plays a significant role in the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Many of the world's top thoroughbreds are bred and trained in the UK, and the industry plays a vital role in the preservation and promotion of the breed.
Overall, horse racing is an integral part of British culture and a major contributor to the country's economy. It is a thrilling and exciting sport that continues to attract a loyal following and generate significant interest from spectators and bettors around the world.
