Second on debut over the course and distance a fortnight ago, ROGUE LEGEND is the standout contender. Sent off a well-backed odds-on chance, things didn't go smoothly for the Havana Grey colt. Slightly slow into stride, he showed signs of greenness thereafter, coming home well in the closing stages to fill the runner-up spot. Raphello and Believe In Glory were third and fourth behind the selection. A brother to the high-class Flotus, the Joseph O'Brien-trained former is likely to step forward from that initial effort, while the same can be said for the Ken Condon-trained latter. Third on debut at Tipperary, Baker Blue is sure to have his supporters.

Some 2yos with a promising future including ROGUE LEGEND who had a couple of these behind when 2nd over C&D and he should improve

A competitive affair, with handicap debutant TROPICAL RETREAT the suggestion. The subject of good market support when fourth on debut at Dundalk before Christmas, she since made the breakthrough when dropped to the minimum trip at the all-weather venue. Starting on turf now, she could prove nicely treated off an initial mark of 72. Top-weight Likedbymike returns to calmer waters after finishing last over the course and distance earlier this month. Hampered with over a furlong to go in that Listed heat, she was given an easy time of it thereafter. Beauty Queen was seventh in that same contest and it'll be interesting to see how she fares in first-time cheekpieces. The 88-rated Jorge Alvares, Tipperary winner Bobbi Rosa and the Denis Hogan-trained Sarahmae are others to note.

A drop to 5f seems to have really helped SARAHMAE who is on an upward trajectory and this is easier than the Naas h'cap last time out

AN LAOCHMOR might be able to make the breakthrough in this open affair. In a first-time visor he put in a career-best effort to finish fourth on his penultimate start at Navan and he again filled the same position when last seen in a 27-runner contest at the Curragh. With less rivals to contend with here, the Jimmy Coogan-trained four-year-old looks sure to give a good account of himself. While consistent, My Girl Sioux has just one win to her name from 48 starts. Beaten into second at Navan on Saturday, it'll come as no surprise if she manages to go a place better. Starting off for rookie trainer Maurice Ahern, it'll be interesting to see how seven-time winner Art Of Unity fares.

The unexposed AN LAOCHMOR may be the way to go having outrun his odds in a couple of big field turf handicaps since fitted with a visor

Runner-up on her racecourse debut at the Curragh last month, NO ALIBI can go one place better. Trainer Paddy Twomey can often leave a bit to work on with his newcomers, so the daughter of Blame should be all the better for that initial experience. Even without the anticipated improvement, a reproduction of that effort should be good enough in this race. A first-time tongue-tie is applied here, something that should also aid her cause. Having shown up well over 7f at Gowran Park on her recent stable debut, Stella Alpina is interesting dropped back in trip. Wegotogether is another to consider.

Paddy Twomey's NO ALIBI showed winning potential on debut at the Curragh and she can get off the mark here

A three-time winner on the all-weather this year, HIGHTIMEYOUWON is of definite interest back on turf. Although equally as effective on the grass, the Stephen Thorne-trained nine-year-old had been out of form before joining the stable in October. As a result, the gelding can race off a 12lb lower mark here than on the Polytrack. With Jack Kearney riding at the top of his game at the minute, the son of Garswood makes plenty of appeal. Eddie G, who suffered a nightmare passage when third at Roscommon earlier this month, has to be a serious threat. Leopardstown winner Dark Viper could also go well.

Having endured a luckless passage on his return, subsequently gelded EDDIE G (nap) may be able to gain compensation from the same mark

ROYAL ENTRY can record a first victory on what is just her second start for trainer Paddy Twomey. Somewhat surprisingly sent off favourite at Killarney last time, she ran well to finish runner-up to a filly rated 18lb higher. The fact that she was so strong in the market against an above-average rival clearly suggests that the daughter of Fracas is showing plenty at home. Compensation awaits here. Runner-up on her latest two starts, the Joseph O'Brien-trained Tswalu looks the main danger. Outpaced at Gowran Park last time before staying on late, stepping up in trip here looks a wise move. Recent Leopardstown fourth Metamorphic is noted too.

Tswalu should go close if staying the trip but ROYAL ENTRY, who has solid placed form in the book at this distance, is preferred

The Richard O'Brien-trained METAMORPHEUS can register a first win on the Flat. Successful over hurdles for former connections, the six-year-old has long given the impression that he could be well handicapped back on the level. However, having failed to deliver on such expectations to date, the Morpheus gelding drops back in trip here. Racing keenly, before weakening to finish fourth in a stronger race at Limerick last month, he is certainly worth another chance over this distance. Gardone has to be respected for the Eric McNamara stable. Second at Gowran Park on her penultimate start, Suityourselfboss arrives here in better form than most.

It could be a good opportunity for TARTARAGHAN who likely needed Friday's return and this is her trip
