125/1(+17%) | (8) Live My Dream 125/1, Ran poorly when comfortably held in a maiden over 3m at Tattersalls Farm last time; has plenty to find. Dam French hurdle/chase winner, no encouragement from two runs in points last season. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
12th (13) (50/1 +24%)Poets Oath |
50/1(+24%) | (13) Poets Oath 50/1, 45,000 euros Poet's Word gelding; half-brother to No Comment, very useful at 24f. Half-brother to three winners including useful pair No Comment and Burn The Evidence. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
13th (2) (125/1 -400%)Boltlander |

125/1(-89%) | (7) Liamo 125/1, Ran to form when fourth, beaten 9l, in a handicap over 8f at Gowran Park last time; faces a stiff task. Consistent Flat handicapper at a modest level, seems to be ground-versatile. |

A point-to-point winner in April, MISTER PESSIMISTIC was successful on his Rules debut when landing a bumper at Listowel in September. The Westerner gelding will probably improve as he goes up in trip but he represents a yard in excellent form and, if jumping adequately on this first run over flights, should be hard to beat. A half-brother to a hurdles winner over 3m, Grey Jude was only two and a half lengths behind the selection when third at Listowel and merits plenty of respect on his hurdling debut. Master Haku and Ready For Road are newcomers from powerful yards and market confidence in either would be significant.

With the de Bromhead stable in good form, MISTER PESSIMISTIC has strong prospects of adding to his point-to-point and bumper wins

5/6(-4%) | (5) I'm Slippy 5/6, Very promising debut when winning by 1/2l in a bumper at Fairyhouse; the pick on overall form. Looked smart when winning a valuable sales bumper at Fairyhouse, sets a good standard. |

14/1(+36%) | (11) Market Ready 14/1, Below form when down the field in a 4yo bumper over 2m1f at Punchestown last time; looks the pick on race times. Fair fourth in a maiden hurdle on debut, struggled in a bumper at the Punchestown festival. |

10/1(+55%) | (13) Where Are You Now 10/1, Outpaced on a modest debut when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Punchestown on only start; returns from a break and likely to need more time and possibly further than 2m. Remote eighth after being badly hampered at the fourth at Punchestown, of some interest. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (14) (50/1 +50%)Clarin Breeze |
50/1(+50%) | (14) Clarin Breeze 50/1, Monitor Closely filly. First foal, dam placed 2m hurdle, trainer has saddled two handicap chase winners recently. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (6) (80/1 -60%)Just For One |
80/1(-60%) | (6) Just For One 80/1, Showed below bumper form when finishing down the field in an auction hurdle at Listowel last time; yet to find suitable conditions. No impact in a Punchestown bumper or a 2m Listowel maiden hurdle, can be ruled out. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (9) (40/1 -150%)Laska Du Breuil |
40/1(-150%) | (9) Laska Du Breuil 40/1, Outpaced and below debut form when down the field in a maiden hurdle at Wexford; a 3m point performer who may need further than 2m under rules and looks one for low-grade handicaps. Little sign of promise so far in a point-to-point, a bumper and two maiden hurdles.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (3) (40/1 +0%)Friends Of Barry |
40/1(+0%) | (3) Friends Of Barry 40/1, Modest debut when well beaten in a maiden hurdle at Gowran Park on only start; looks one for further down the line. Beaten a long way from home on debut at Gowran, unlikely to play a featuring role. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (7) (66/1 +47%)Knockmore |
66/1(+47%) | (7) Knockmore 66/1, Made his move too soon when comfortably held in a bumper over 2m3f here last time; likely to need more time. Pulled up in a maiden hurdle at Tipperary; remote fifth of seven in a bumper at this venue. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|F| (15) (4/1 -14%)Family Getaway |
4/1(-14%) | (15) Family Getaway 4/1, Getaway filly; half-sister to The Very Man, smart from 16f to 17f; from a top stable. Half-sister to the versatile The Very Man, likely to play a prominent part on debut. |

50/1(+0%) | (2) Dan Lauren 50/1, Pulled up in a maiden over 3m at Tallow last time; trainer is in form but returns from a long layoff and has it all to do. Half-brother to 2m7f hurdle winner Watching Brief, pulled up on only point-to-point start.. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
11th (10) (40/1 +50%)Loulouless |
40/1(+50%) | (10) Loulouless 40/1, Outpaced and below debut form when well beaten in a maiden hurdle over 2m1f at Tipperary; effective at 2m and may do better over further in time. Absent since finishing in midfield at Tipperary in May, likely to need a handicap mark. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (12) (18/1 +28%)Uncle Mike |
18/1(+28%) | (12) Uncle Mike 18/1, 8,000 euros Getaway gelding; half-brother to Mount Mandela, moderate at 23f; looks an unlikely winner on debut. Dam bumper/2m hurdle winner, half-sister to two useful winners, in good hands.. |

Robert Tyner has been waiting for easy ground for I'M SLIPPY and has found a very winnable race for his hurdling debut. The Maxios gelding won a valuable sales bumper at Fairyhouse in April and although that form hasn't really been tested yet, it will be surprising if he doesn't maintain his unbeaten record in this contest. The half-brother to a 2m4f hurdles winner has reportedly done plenty of schooling and jumps well. Family Getaway is a half-sister to useful and versatile performer The Very Man and is a newcomer to note. Market Ready's fourth at Clonmel in March is the best hurdles form on show and he has place claims.

This looks like a good starting point over hurdles for I'M SLIPPY who made a good first impression in a valuable bumper at Fairyhouse

1st (5) (14/1 +0%)King In Love |
14/1(+0%) | (5) King In Love 14/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 2m2f at Listowel last time. May prefer slightly easier ground. Won off 14lb lower at Naas in March, lost action when pulled up at Listowel latest, watch. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2nd (8) (7/2 -27%)Eastmore |
7/2(-27%) | (8) Eastmore 7/2, Scored by a neck off 90 over 2m1f at Down Royal three starts back, then ran to form when second, beaten 1¼l off 97 last time. Effective over 2–2¼m on fast ground and in form. In fine form recently, held form well since Down Royal win, should be in the mix again. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
3rd (10) (14/1 -75%)Pralognan |
14/1(-75%) | (10) Pralognan 14/1, Below form back on easier ground when well beaten in a handicap over 12f at The Curragh last time. Probably has a bit more to come. Won off 5lb lower in June, below best on the Flat recently, career best needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
4th (1) (4/1 +67%)Saint Le Fort |
4/1(+67%) | (1) Saint Le Fort 4/1, Needed the run when well beaten in a handicap hurdle over 2m4f at Punchestown last time. Effective over 2½m and may yet stay a little further. 2m4f course maiden winner, struggled since, mark sliding, down in trip, others preferred. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
5th (4) (12/1 -71%)Miss Mini Bee |
12/1(-71%) | (4) Miss Mini Bee 12/1, Below form and still green, making mistakes when finishing down the field in a handicap hurdle over 2m3f at Naas on latest start. Bumper winner, well beaten on handicap debut when last seen in April, may need this. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
6th (7) (14/1 +13%)Space Warrior |
14/1(+13%) | (7) Space Warrior 14/1, Ran to current form when well beaten in a handicap hurdle at Punchestown last time. Trainer in form; effective at 2m but out of form over hurdles. Lost way since Fairyhouse maiden win, beaten 10l on latest, more needed. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
7th (6) (16/5 -7%)Crowsatedappletart |
16/5(-7%) | (6) Crowsatedappletart 16/5, Improved again at a favoured venue, landing a handicap by 3l off 109 over 2m3f at Limerick last time. Gained third chase win of year on latest, rated lower over hurdles, can't discount. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
8th (9) (15/2 +25%)Mary's Pride |
15/2(+25%) | (9) Mary's Pride 15/2, Returned to form when 5l third in a handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse on latest run. Effective over 2m on good ground and on a fair mark if building on that revival. 5lb below last win, pleasing third on return from a break at Fairyhouse, leading claims. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
9th (2) (40/1 -233%)Camino Rock |
40/1(-233%) | (2) Camino Rock 40/1, Outpaced and needed the run on chase debut when well beaten in a beginners' chase over 2m4f at Kilbeggan last time. Off a short break and has a bit to find. Won off 7lb lower in September 2024, recent runs below par, this trip looks too sharp. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
10th (3) (20/1 -82%)The Blaggard |
20/1(-82%) | (3) The Blaggard 20/1, Pulled up in a handicap hurdle over 2m1f at Wexford last time. Wears a hood for the first time and returns from a short break. Tramore maiden winner, pulled up on return from break latest, watch in new headgear. |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|PU| (11) (50/1 -150%)Rebel Rascal |
50/1(-150%) | (11) Rebel Rascal 50/1, Pulled up in a maiden over 3m at Quakerstown last time. Absent for a very lengthy period and needs to show a lot more. Poor form under Rules in 2022, pulled up in point when last seen in March 2024, 7lb wrong. |

MARY'S PRIDE ran a nice race after a long layoff when third at Fairyhouse last month and that form was boosted when the runner-up scored next time out. Eddie Cawley's runner has won two handicaps over this trip and is back on a competitive mark. Sarah Kavanagh's claim gives him a nice racing weight and any further rain would be to his advantage. Eastmore has really got his act together lately and although best on good ground, his second at Listowel two runs back showed that he handles easy ground too. Seven-time winner Crowsatedappletart would ideally prefer further, but his hurdles mark is 14lb lower than his revised chase rating and he is likely to be in the mix.

MARY'S PRIDE is 5lb below his last win and shaped with plenty of promise on his return from a break at Fairyhouse so he is preferred

Locally-trained mare DIVABORIVA can land this prize for Jonathan Sweeney. The bumper winner shaped with promise on her hurdling debut when sixth here back in April and then reverted to NH Flat company to finish third in a hotly-contested Grade 3 at the Punchestown Festival. Provided that she is fit and ready on this first run of the season, the six-year-old looks to hold leading claims under Adam Ryan. Recent Fairyhouse third Noble Name would have every chance if reproducing that effort. Tramore bumper winner Barra Rua is another who has to be considered in a competitive affair for the grade.

Henry De Bromhead is in flying form and his Down Royal bumper winner ECHOING SILENCE is taken to make a winning return

The Gordon Elliott-trained CARDCOUNTER looks to have been presented with a nice opportunity to make a winning reappearance. A dual scorer over hurdles last season, the five-year-old ended his campaign when down the field in a Grade 1 at the Punchestown Festival. Although no match for the principals on that occasion, the fact he was deemed good enough to contest that race suggests that connections think highly of him. An impressive winner here last time, Tackletommywoowoo rates the main threat. Despite having plenty to find with the selection, the Declan Queally-trained five-year-old is open to further improvement. Listowel maiden hurdle winner Good Girl Kathleen looks best of the remainder.

The 137 rated CARDCOUNTER came up short in Grade 1 company when last seen but this is easier and he can get back to winning ways

The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

None of the five can be safely ruled out, although Nurburgring has been disappointing of late and is difficult to fancy with any great confidence. You Oughta Know is another who will be aiming to bounce back, with the Willie Mullins-trained seven-year-old pulling up in the Munster National after coming to grief in the Kerry National. Formerly trained by Mullins and not seen since March, a first-time tongue-strap is tried on Asian Master, who might just need the run. Successful at Galway and Listowel respectively, OL MAN DINGLE and Mossy Fen Park might be the two to focus on, with the Eoin Griffin-trained former marginally preferred. He beat a subsequent winner at Ballybrit and looks an exciting prospect for connections.

Henry de Bromhead's MOSSY FEN PARK beat a good yardstick at Listowel on his seasonal return and may be able to follow up
Class & Speed Card
The chart reads from right to left to today's class 1 race.

A proven stayer and a battle-hardened competitor, HISTORY OF FASHION appeals in this stamina-sapping contest. Winning twice from six starts last season, he had a nice pipe-opener at Gowran recently and it should leave him spot-on for this assignment. An easy winner over flights at Navan in September, Big Debates is the second choice. A close fourth in this 12 months ago, he is rated 5lb lower and the addition of a tongue-strap might eke out further improvement. Representing Willie Mullins, Chosen Witness and A Penny A Hundred warrant the utmost respect, with Paul Townend opting to partner the former. A close third when bidding to complete a four-timer at Galway, Bal Kauto is of definite interest, while others for the shortlist are the returning Fortunedefortunata and Noble Birth.

Despite his maiden status under Rules, LONESOME BOATMAN has a realistic chance on the strength of a good Punchestown festival run
Class & Speed Card

The locally-trained INCHIDALY COPPER is the suggestion in this wide-open contest. Running well of late, he will be ably assisted by Luke Burke-Ott, who claims a valuable 7lb. The winner of this race 12 months ago, Burru warrants the utmost respect, while it will be interesting to see how dual Flat winner Plunkett Street fares on his first try in handicap hurdle company. Not seen since finishing fifth of 23 in a fiercely competitive contest at Leopardstown last Christmas, His Nibs can make his presence felt. West Cork Wildway, who is down to a career-low mark of 109, and Arctic Gale are others for the shortlist.

Course Flat winner PLUNKETT STREET (nap) should be in prime shape for this after a good run at the Curragh and gets the vote
Ths is the racecard key.
